Her anger was really already gone by the time Say'ri tried to defend herself and she just sighed. People were entitled to their opinions and in this case Chrystella knew better. She knew Chryston. So getting upset about the words of someone who did not know Chryston, was pointless. The next question though, was a little silly if she were really honest about it. For it had only been mere hours since she first found out about the darkness, so really, how was she suppose to know how to deal with it? She was glad that Cassie spoke up just then, or she may have just voiced her opinion.

"The darkness is... unnatural. So the laws of balance do not apply here. You've heard at least once version of the legend, haven't you? The darkness was summoned out of a forbidden and dark book." She turned to Say'ri then. "You asked how to deal with it?Well, it begins with finding that book. If we find what had been summoned, we find our answer." She was sure of it. They couldn't just go up against whatever it was until they knew what it was.

She now spoke to the whole room, giving each person an imploring glance. "I-I could not go about this alone. Chryston said that Calligo was after me. Perhaps due to my direct bloodline back to Chrystoph. Would any of you, Vilo, Zac, Marduk, Cassie, Say'ri and Dragniast, would any of you come with me?"

Marduk stood up and place his hand high in the air.
"miss chrystella I wish to come with you. I hope any other who come with do not mind, I may not seem like much help, but I will do as I can for you"

Though he had no clue what, when or where they were going, but he would do anything for chrystella, she made him the man he was today. Though he wasn't sure the other would except him, he would go on anyway they could not stop him, and maybe he could have a little fun if they run into some hero who thinks he can stop there happy little caravan.

"but I don't see why you would need body gaurds to go to a library, even with evil the back of your neck"

Cassie had just been about to stand when marduck did. She smiled, and stood as well, "I will go with you" she said "I have always been told to do whats right or wrong. To do what I think is right, well, even though its bound to be dangerous, I will go along and do what I can, because I do not think I can live with myself if I didn't."

She glanced down at her leg, "after all, o owe you a debt. Not that I wouldnt do it in any case. I will gladly give you my hands, and paws, my claws and teeth. I will use my wolf form to the best of my abilities, to save the world that I llve so much"

Hearing Chrystella ask for them to come with, Zac grins his usual, carefree, happy-go-lucky grin and says, "Why's that even a question? You helped Say'ri and Cassie save my life. Hell, yeah, I'll help you out!" Then, in an attempt to lighten the mood, he half-jokingly adds, "As long as I don't have to read. Books and I don't really get along."

Marduk looked at zac confused. Maybe he had judged them all to soon, but he believed them all to be too full of ego and pride to try anything or help a friend out.

Marduk chuckled trying to make the quest seem less gloomy "maybe we'll have some time to stop by a town or two and well you know" not really know what they would expect he meant. With some of the people here, he wasn't sure they knew what a town was.

Three out of the six guests had instantly agreed to help her and she gave them a each a smile. Marduk received the fondest smile, he had been with her for awhile and was there to keep her company. His strange habits and clumsiness had grown on her. "You are perfect help just as you are now. You know how I feel about you belittling yourself." She didn't like it when he did, not just because he moped around about it, but also that he didn't perform tasks to the same satisfactory level. "It's no so much the whole body guard thing, it just that I wish for someone to continue this quest even if I was to... well... you know." Die by the shadows of Caligo Nox. She added silently and moved her attention onto Cassie. "I thank you Cassandra, I am honoured to have your help." She told the female werewolf and moved on to Zac. "I am glad to hear that Zac." She began but soon qietly laughed at what he said next. "Don't worry, you will be safe from reading." She promised and waited for another to volunteer their help.

(I just realised in my post that there is a live, instead of love. Its meant to be world I love so much)

Cassie smiled, sitting back down, she wrapped her arms around her knees, brinnging them up to her chest. "A persons greatest enemy is themselves. If you think you can't do anything, then the task has already failed. Believe you can be of help, and you can be" She said softly, directed this ar Marduk, but meaning it for the whole group.

marduk took a step away from cassie, slouching more from her last comment, but still trying to hold in how ashamed he was for his little confidence. Maybe what she said was true, he never believed in himself and he had a hard time with everything, but he never thought about it, he just did things, but still managed a reputation. Still confused by the sudden silence, marduk stepped back to the corner of the room and watched as he waited for others to respond.

"or you can just do what I do and wing it. Seems to have worked for me so far" Cassie said with a laugh, but let it fade away. She had wanted to be cheerful, but seemed like she had just made things worse.

She should just shut up, and behave.

marduk chuckled lightly but stopped as he looked around. Why so serious? thought that made him sound scary, like a joker gone mad. But still why was everyone acting as if this was suicide, was it? It wouldn't change his plans but still he'd like to know.

Zac stayed quiet for a few moments before comfortingly resting a hand on Cassie's shoulder, Smiling, he follows up on what she said, "You're right, Cassie. If you don't have confidence in yourself, then why should others rely on you for help?" Giving her shoulder a friendly squeeze, he sits back in his seat and turns to Chrystella, asking, "So, after finding this book, any idea what we do afterwards? Go punch some things in the face? I can do that."

Marduk stepped out from the shadows of the corner and raised his hand to level with his head.

"I Also must ask what will happen if we find are selves in a predicament with humans?" he asked as he looked around.

It wasn't that he was unsure if anyone else would join the fray, let alone the people that happen to be in there way, with her magics she could probably just swat them away like flies, and with the other 2 at her side, she had some able companions. Still thought he wanted to know how they would fair, could he go back to his old self and let them wish they never tried to be a hero, or just bunker down when they attack.

"I'm coming too. Not like I can sit around and do nothing as the world gets destroyed," she looks around and sighs, "Though there is one problem we should address before we leave: I need some blood..."

Marduk sighed as he rolled up his tight sleeve and extended his arm, which seemed lank for his height. He had never had blood taken from him like this, it was diffrent, usually it was taken by force, and others could see that in the scars that littered his forearm and biceps.

"please just make this quick, I would prefer to make this less awkward than it already is" he said, his voice as shaky as his body.

He had never had a vampire suck his blood before, and the more he thought about it, the more squeamish he became. something about it made him feel wrong and impure.

Cassie smiled at Zack when he spoke.

When Say'ri said about blood, and then Marduks reaction. Cassie was speechless a moment. "Um. If you are happy with animal blood, I am a good hunter in both forms" Cassie said, "wouldn't taken our blood weaken us?"

Marduk instantly rolled his sleeve back up and scampered into the corner, holding his arms tight.

"right that would be much better" he said laughing awkwardly, and still shaking at his stupidity. Maybe she was nice, or maybe it actually felt nice to have a vampire suck blood from you, but to marduk he never wanted to know, it seemed as if you were killing yourself.

She laughed softly at Zac's words. "You can do that if you like, but when we find the book, we will read it and scour it for clues. Then after that we will read more books until we find out how to defeat the darkness." It sounded very boring, but reading was an ideal pastime to Chrystella, she loved loosing herself in the pages of a tome. Four out of six guests now agreed to accompany her. Chrystella looked at Marduk as he spoke. "There should be no predicaments with humans, because they will believe us to be human too. And Marduk, no terrorizing any humans either." She warned gently, but the spark in her eye booked no room for argument. Focusing on Say'ri, she asked. "Do you care if it is animal blood or not?"

Smooth wisps of steam gestured their existence plainly upon open space, Dragniast using all of his trained instincts to not reveal how devastated he truly is at this moment in time. Without knowing it, everyone but Grace had committed an entirely painful offense towards our vampiric contractor. Mild tints of red chapped his silken cheeks, another wispy sigh assailing warm air.

He looked away from the group, placing his fist under the curve of his chin. Dragniast only showed incredibly minute signs that he was gravely upsetted. Though the largest sign only those paying attention would notice is that not a single word had left his bliss-filled lips.

‘Truly they know not what they have done...’
He thought to himself.
‘They have ignored me…’

After going through all the work to create that ominous aura and act all powerful… not a single person was impressed. Dragniast rarely socialized, so being blatantly ignored is not something he’s used to. Feeling rather unappreciated he sighed again, after several minutes managing a single nod at Chrystella in confirmation that he would follow their group.

Vilo, who had been shaken by the whole conversation, sat silent. His body was tense, him looking down with a rare expression on him, he was lost. His eyes were shrowded with the darkness of the conversation. His thoughts stabbed through his body like knives, going wild with the possibilities that might happen. He shook every time someone spoke and he never lifted his head up. He was whimpering softly, thinking on what to do. He raised his head after a few minutes of silence from him and spoke in a shaky, hushed tone, but so Chrystella could still hear him,"I-I'll go, too...". That was all he could say before he quickly lowered his head again.

That was everyone then. They were all willing to see this through with her. She was touched, they had only met that day and they were willing to help her. She hadn't known such kindness from strangers before. Chrystella clasped her hands together and bowed her head. Her thankfulness couldn't be explained by mere words and they say that actions speak louder than words anyway. A little while later she stood up. "No point in setting out when it is already the afternoon so how about we set out bright and early tomorrow morning? Marduk, would you mind showing these gentlemen to the guest rooms while I show the girls to theirs. After that I will get started on dinner. Cassandra and Say'ri, would you like to follow me to your rooms?"
