Show me one other cybergoth female black videogame character that practices witchcraft.
Go on, I'll wait.

Really excited for Anthem. Don't know if anyone's mentioned it yet but it looks AMAZING.
Anthem will be a mess and will flop. EA-owned Bioware has lost all of its support network at this point.

Don't worry. EA will ensure this is a disaster. I don't care what they've said, you cannot convince me that a loot-driven online (co-op) RPG is not absolute pay-2-win bait. I give it 3 months post-launch before its a money pit.
I’ve never seen someone excuse EA’s idiotic business actions and micro-transactions (see: Battlefront 2, and literally charging people money to RUN in The Old Republic). In 2018, it’s kind of absurd to see someone front for EA. Also, given what EA has done to Bioware, being excited for Anthem is just building yourself up for disappointment.
Keep in mind that this is coming from a guy who bought Mass Effect: Andromeda flaws and all on full display during its first week of release.
People who complain about EA because they reward people who pay real money (god forbid a company get money for their work), when they allow those who don't the ability to get the same things through playing the game, albeit much slower.
i acknowledge that anthem probably won't be good
but i really want it to be good

I've never played any of their f2p titles so I'm not really commenting on that, but yeah god forbid a company try to monetise something that already costs money. Games shouldn't reward people for dumping money in them, they should reward the people that actually play the game. They should reward the people that actually would've gone for the 40-hour fucking grind that most BF2 heroes required pre-patch. Day One DLC was bad enough, but it's a fucking walk in the park compared to this new trend.
You're welcome to disagree, but lootboxes and microtransactions are paths to disingenuous business practices. Full stop. Given I've played SWTOR and NBA2k for what seems like an eternity, I think I have some merit to my issues with it. I’m genuinely pleased Battlefront got the shit it did in the press (Jim Sterling and many others) and I’m thankful that it got EA to get their head out of their ass for five seconds. Now if only others can understand this before gamer apathy sinks them.
Also, NBA2k18 was getting shit on from about all angles for its microtransactions, so I don’t think you know what you’re talking about for once.
