It was so hard for Dahl not to worry anymore, especially since there was so much going on now. There were hunters and now a new group of supernaturals, a group of witches at that... It was a lot to worry about, but still, she gave a soft smile to Zach and nodded. "That's true. I know no one would. Plus, you know, he can effectively get away with being a mute with Ryan gone for the moment. I just hate seeing him so uncomfortable. I hate seeing anyone so uncomfortable." she said, and soon she sat down with Zach for dinner.

His response to her next statement though had made her chuckle a little. Sometimes she forgot that it was kind of hard to make anything too rare for him. She took a few bites of her food before she looked to him when he spoke to her. She gave him a look when he handed her the box and she smiled a bit when she opened it, and she leaned over and placed a kiss on his cheek. "I love them babe, thank you."

She took the box and placed it on the table as she finished her dinner. It wasn't long after their dinner was done that she noticed Zach head into the living room and put on a movie as she moved the dishes into the sink. He had stopped her before she could actually do the dishes though, and promised her he would do them in the morning. She let him lead her to the couch and once they were sitting down, she cuddled up to him, laying her head on his shoulder as they watched the movie.

--

Aless nodded to Kat when she spoke about their little plan. It was true, both Izzy and Cass had a lot of experience planning huge parties and weddings, and after their mom's freak out session last night... It had become more obvious they would need more help. "That is true, I didn't expect mom to freak out so much either. And she has been getting up earlier. Roland told me the other morning she was up at 4 when he went back to his room." she said. It hadn't gotten too bad, obviously, but she was almost certain that it was because she and Mitch were sharing a room and he made sure that she was in bed every night.

Aless smiled, "It will be so good to see them! And mom really will be. It should be just what she needs." she said, and she gave a softer smile to Kat when she said she just had to tell Atty she wasn't going to be staying in his room. After Kat handed her some pjs and headed to Atty's room, she changed and when there was a knock on the door she looked at it funny before telling the person it was okay to come in. Of course it was Kat, and she smiled to her.

"Thanks, sis. Again." she said, crawling into bed with Kat. "I do kinda want to cuddle under one blanket, it always makes me feel better." she said and she giggled when Kat kicked her frog's legs in front of her and she gently took the stuffed animal from her and hugged it. "Philburt really does make everything better." She got situated in the bed not long after that and drifted to sleep not long after that.

Rhi was glad to get away from the table, but what she didn't know was that Chester was inwardly cursing her absence suddenly. Once Eli grabbed him and forced him onto the table, he looked at him as best he could. "What the fuck man?!" he cursed at him, but it seemed that this one had been made very aware of the agreement that he had made with Sergio. That was a pain in the ass... But then again, it wasn't like the old Russian hot head was around anyway, so he thought it would be okay. Obviously not. Obviously every last one of the guys that she came in with knew about it. Even the techie who she had come with last time... He had gone into the bathroom, techie followed him and made sure he knew that there was cold metal on him if he touched her.

"Fuck. Okay. Just let me up." he whimpered slightly, feeling his shoulder trying to pop out of socket. It wasn't moments after that, he felt a slap on his cheek and she rubbed his shoulder and shot him a look. "Yeah, thanks man." he said, unenthusiastically. When Rhi came back and handed Eli his drink, Rhi gave a small smile back, but it quickly disappeared as she sat back down. Chester was still rubbing his shoulder, and while Eli was distracted, he whispered to Rhi, hoping Eli wouldn't hear. "Do you always have to bring violent company?"

Rhi gave Chester a look before she let her eyes shift towards Eli and then back to Chester. "Well, obviously, you did something he didn't like if he felt the need to." she said, mumbling into her glass. "I mean, not like he shoved a gun down your throat."

She felt Chester give her a weird look before she set down her drink and looked back at him, "What was that?"

"Nothing. What else did you want to talk about? I have other things that need attended to, and would really appreciate wrapping this up." she said, and he just gave her a look and got up.

"I... I guess nothing else." he said and he walked away from the table before turning and saying something else. "So, are you going to answer me the next time I call or will I be dealing with Kyp?"

"Kyp. You really thought you had my phone number... None of my contacts have it." she said, and he sighed and headed off. When he was gone, she brought her head into her hands before she ran them over her face and sighed. "Sorry about him, Eli. He's becoming more of a pain in the ass than he's actually worth. If I didn't get information out of him cheap, I probably would have quit using him ages ago."

Her finger came up and traced the mouth of her glass before she took another sip and felt her phone vibrate before she answered it. "Hello?"

"You okay, Da?" Of course it was Serg. "Heard about Gio's group. I sorry. You call Lucien?"

"Yeah, I'm fine. I haven't called him yet. I don't even know how to tell him, honestly. Usually when I call Lu it's all good and dandy or I just have a question for him. Last time I gave him bad news, he didn't take it well. This I have a feeling he'll take even worse." She said.

"You want me stay tonight? You no be alone then?" he asked and she felt herself smile a little.

"Yeah, I'd appreciate it, Serg." she said, and his next words made an involuntary chuckle come from her.

"How is Chester?"

"Scared shitless. He might like Eli even less than he likes you. I got up for two minutes and came back and he didn't even really want to make eye contact with me." she said, and she could hear Serg's laugh. "You want me to wait up for you?"

"No. If you home when I come in, I let you know. No be out late." Serg said.

"Alright. See you when I get home." she said, and she hung up and she looked to Eli. "I'm guessing you heard about the group they found? It's sad... I'm really going to hate calling Lu about that."

She took another drink and looked down at the table before she looked at Eli. "I am really sorry tonight has been such a bad night." she said, looking back to her glass and finishing up the contents. She wasn't going to let herself drink another glass, if she did, she wouldn't be able to drive and she really didn't want to have to call Wes with him having just got back from the south. She thought a moment before remembering something she saw in the files. "Ever heard of a wedding thrown by creatures?" she asked a bit lowly. She never had, but she supposed that some creatures did. She knew vampires had been known for it at a point in time, but recently she had never even thought the idea possible.

--

Kyp just chuckled at her response and nodded. "Thanks. You can take me up on that offer whenever you want. I have fun doing what I do." he said, and after he told her that he was a hacker, he couldn't help the smile that came over his face when she said she had never met one. "Well, you probably have, but not many hackers are good enough to take pride in their work. I have to be doing something right to do all of what I do." he said. He decided to leave out the fact he was on quite a few federal watchlists, one being the FBI, who he had just gotten off of his ass not that long ago.

When she tried to match his look, he held in a laugh, but he gave a nod. "I guess that's true." he said. "Serg is kind of intimidating if you don't know him, but then again, he has a soft spot for girls."

After the call came and Serg came over, they both knew that they would have to deal with it. There was no point in pulling Rhi away to deal with it, especially since she would have to make the call to Lucien. Kyp had entertained calling Jax to tell him, but something told him not to. Rhi would handle it. He knew she would. Kyp watched as Serg interacted with Tara and gave a smile.

"Da. I in number 4. I thought you sound familiar." He said, "But am glad to hear you okay. I know it get to some people. Had three recruits get sick seeing some of bodies." Serg shook his head and sighed. "Was not fun dealing with them."

Kyp looked to Tara when she asked if they needed help before she headed home and Serg exchanged looks with Kyp. "The help would be appreciated, but I'm not sure there will be too much to do there."

"You come with. Cathedral not far from our building. We make sure you get home after too." Serg said, and he looked at his phone. "I be back, I call Rhi. She no answer."

It clicked with Kyp and he checked his own phone seeing some pictures and he sighed. "Yeah, let's get ready to go. I have a long night ahead of me. I have some information I need to look at that Rhi got. Make sure it's nothing none of us already had." he said, and he looked to Tara. "We'll meet you out front in about five minutes, I've got to collect all the information I need and get it in my wagon." he said with a small laugh before he headed off.

Once he was away from Tara and Serg came back over to him, Kyp looked at him. "You okay with the fact Rhi went back without you?" he asked and Serg nodded, seeming a bit more relaxed after talking to her.

"Chester no like Eli more than me." he seemed amused. "Is funny. Just glad Rhi okay, I no like not being there."

Kyp nodded. "I know. So, are you even going home tonight, buddy, or you staying with Rhi?"

"I stay with Rhi tonight. I no want her be alone." he said, and Kyp nodded as they headed out to his station wagon after they got all of the files he needed. "You go home tonight?"

Kyp shook his head. "Nah, I might stay over too, she won't care. Plus, then if I have questions on her notations, I can ask them."

Serg nodded and he saw Tara not far off when they headed outside. "You need follow us? Or you know where is?" he asked her.

Eli barely was paying attention after he let go of Chester and Rhi came back to the table. His focus on messaging back Tara at the moment, though he did catch Rhi’s mutter about a gun being shoved down Chester’s throat. He snickered a bit at the words glancing at Rhi from the corner of his eye and put his phone in his pocket again. Chester got up and he couldn't help but watch him closely as he left. He didn't want him touching Rhi again. Well now he felt a little bad that Kyp had to deal with this sack of human waste too.

Eli looked up as Rhi apologized about Chester. She shouldn't have to apologize for him though. It wasn't her fault that the guy was….the way he was. He shook his head a bit. “Don't be, I'm sure I have a LOT of contacts that you wouldn't like either. At least he is giving you good information right?” Eli said before finishing off his first drink as he listened to Rhi talking on the phone. A small smirk on his lips when she talked about Chester being scared shitless.

Eli gave a slight look and nodded a little bit. “Yeah, Tara texted me about the news and that she was going with them.” He didn't really know who Lu was, other than the fact he was one of her brothers. “I'm sorry for both you and his lost. I didn't know any of the hunters from that group.” Eli said his voice going a bit softer, honestly he had never really been the best at dealing with people who lost someone. Rhi was a friend though, so he was at least trying.

The next words made him sigh a little his voice going from the slightly softer tone, back to his normal almost monotone tone. “Honestly, this whole weekend has been bad. This could have been worse, with there being three.” He said before taking a drink from his second drink she had brought him. “So at least there is that.” He muttered to himself. He wasn't mad at Rhi really, after all, could you really be mad at someone that bought him drinks after a weekend of hell? He understood why she didn't warn him, even if he did wish he knew ahead of time. “Which reminds me I tried out some new bullets if you want to try them for me. They're kind of dangerous though.”

Eli had to think for a moment about Rhi’s question. It made sense to him that they would. Though, maybe that was because he was a human. “I know that witches and vampires both throw balls and have weddings from my parents. Other than that I don't know much other than werewolves don't usually.” He answered before giving her a slight look. “Though no matter what race we went after. A wedding would likely have a lot of them. Did the information say when or where it was happening?” He said, depending on how soon it was happening, they really did need to better prepare, their people needed to heal up, and they needed to make plans.

There was a slight pause and he looked at his phone to see a list of names that needed to be sent to the infirmary tomorrow from Taylor. He knew the names from his recruits and a few of Rhi’s people. Show to Rhi. A few of hers rolled their eyes. I swear to….whatever, I will go to houses! He chuckled a bit at it before handing his phone to Rhi. “Fair warning, he will go to houses if they don't show up. He isn't joking.” He said before another message popped up. Also hi to Rhi.

Eli glanced at the phone when she got the names and he finished his drink before sending another message to Taylor. He sighed looking at the glass. He could probably drink ten more of these, an probably when when he got home. He wasn't an alcoholic by any means but he drink more when he was stressed. Which weekends with your parents and coming home to a bomb blowing up the mall, tended to do. “You gonna go home after this? Taylor is picking me up and he has a pickup to take your motorcycle.”

--

Tara smiled a little at Kyp’s words about being a hacker. She guessed that could be true, no one really did brag about things they weren't good at. “Do you think you could teach me some hacker stuff? I'm a pretty quick learner.” She asked, she really loved learning new skills, they gave her something to focus on and it usually didn't require trying to watch facial expressions to know how she should feel. “Like Eli had me throwing knives two weeks after he adopted me.”

Kyp really wasn't lying though, Serg was very huge and she could see why some people could be intimidated by him. Though as soon as he started talking to him she realized he was someone she liked from her building. “I only knew your last name.” She said with a small chuckle. She paused for a long moment when he talked about the recruits that had gotten sick over the dead bodies. Her first thought was that they shouldn't be hunting if they were babies with weak stomachs. That wasn't the right thing to say though, she reminded herself. “Oh that's too bad, hopefully they will be able to get use to it.”

Tara couldn't help the small frown at the exchange of looks between the two men when she offered to help. If they knew her better they might have known that this, what happened tonight, had literally no effect on her, like whatsoever. When Kyp started to say they didn't need she sighed a bit, before Serg said that she could come. She smiled a little bit before nodding. “Okay that sounds good to me.” She said before watching Serg walk away. “I like him.” Tara said looking at Kyp, then he said he had to go and to meet them in the parking lot.”Alright.” She answered with a small laugh and wave before heading off to talk to Taylor.

He wasn't that hard to find, finishing up with a hunter that looked pretty banged up. He looked up as she said his name, before sighing a little though it wasn't as much at Tara as the amount of hurt. “What's up Tara? I'm a little busy.”

“I was told to tell you I'm going to help with a group that was killed outside the mall.” She said, her voice a little hushed so the others couldn't hear her. She got a look though and she rolled her eyes speaking before he had a chance to speak. “It's with Rhi’s guys. Kyp and Serg.”

Taylor relaxed a little bit, he hadn't met Kyp before tonight but he had met Serg. Both working on Eli and setting his space in the new place. “Alright, make sure to message Eli when you get home and be carefully.”

“Yes momma Taylor.” She said smirking at the eye roll it got before heading out to the parking lot. The guys caught up to her as she was leaving and she looked at Serg. “I mean I know where it is but I'll just follow you guys. Okay?” She answered.

As she got in Eli’s car she adjusted the seat and and messed with the music and she waited for them to start their car up. The drive to the Cathedral wasn't really that far from the mall and she was a little glad that she followed them because she usually didn't take the route that they did. Turning the music down as they got came to a stop, she grabbed her bag as she got out of the car. Kyp and Serg was already making their way towards some guy that she didn't know. Though she saw someone she realized, a tall muscular blonde guy that Tali had introduced them to, he was shifter hunter from Chicago that wanted to move closer to his family. What was his name again?

“Jeffrey?” Tara said as she got a little closer to him. His eyes snapped to her, and he gave a barely there sad smile. She gave her best comforting smile as she to him. Tara couldn't see all the bodies but she could see a younger guy with his throat cut and one was burnt pretty badly. Though Jeffrey’s eyes were trained on the one who was farthest in. Gently she took his arm and lead him away from where he could sit and sat him down. “Are you the one that found them?” His head dropped slightly as he nodded. “Can you tell me how?”

Once Chester had left, Rhi felt slightly better, but given the circumstances of the whole thing... She didn't feel the greatest. She had to call Lucien still and tell him about Gio's group, and hope to hell that he didn't fly off the handle. He and Jax had almost been with them tonight, but Lucien had just got back into town a week ago, having moved back, and was still getting settled in. What Eli said to her apology made her chuckle softly, and she nodded. "Most of the time, I always have to send the info to Kyp to make sure it's not stuff we already have or that he's trying to pull a fast one on me. He's tried." She smirked into her glass at that thought. "I shoved my gun down his throat and told him he tried it again he'd be shitting bullets for a week. I think he likes when women are rough with him though." The thought caused an involuntary shudder to run over her.

When he said Tara had texted him, she gave a gentle nod and she looked at him when he said he was sorry for their loss. "Thanks. I mean, I didn't know them as well as I know others, but I have hunted with them before. Lucien and Jax were almost with them, I think that's what's got me a little shaken about it." she admitted, and she sighed. "Just makes me wonder which ones got hold of them. I'm sure Kyp will give me the analysis once they get there."

She rolled her eyes and when he spoke again she gave a nod. Oh, she understood about it being a bad weekend. Between the whole bomb thing and then having to deal with this, she had also gotten a call from her dad saying he would be in town sometime within the next month. He hadn't told her when, but it would not be a fun time when he showed up. When he started talking about bullets though, she nodded and smiled a bit. "Pfft... I make bombs, dangerous is in my genetics." she giggled a bit, setting down her glass of wine, seeing she was almost done with it. She was really beginning to flirt with another glass though. She knew she shouldn't, but this was kind of nice.

When he answered her question about the wedding, she nodded a bit. "The only succinct information is the date, but there are a couple of venue points and a partial of a guest list. All of the known vampire coven leaders are supposed to be there, and it's not often that they would all gather in one place like that, so when we start the planning, we'll have to put the better foot forward and hope we can find more information between now and then. It's supposed to be happening in a few weeks."

Then Eli showed her his phone and when she was warned that Taylor would go to houses, she took up her phone and started adding the name into a group message before she saw the next message and smiled. "I forgot to give him my number didn't I?" she chuckled a bit, and once she got all the names and started the message she said, "Tell him I said hi too. I'll give him my number tomorrow so you don't have to play middle man."

He had asked her if she was going home after this and she nodded, but before she could answer about Taylor she saw an arm reach over her and place another glass of wine on the table in front of her before a hand pinched at her side and shot up and squeaked. The laugh that followed caused Rhi to stand up and smack the guy's arm. He was still laughing, and soon took the seat that was on her other side. "Shit, Rhi. Act like you didn't know I'd be here." he said, and Rhi gave him a look.

"You know better than to pinch my side, Wes." she said, smacking his arm again. After a minute she laughed and took up the glass of wine he placed down. "Thank you for the drink though."

"You're welcome. Kyp called me a bit ago, said something about you probably needing a ride since you took Serg's bike and were likely drinking." he said, and he looked over to Eli. "Sorry, sorry man. I'm Wesley Ward, I've been out of town."

Rhi nodded. "Yeah. This is mechanic Wes." She said. "So, Kyp sent you to be my ride?"

"I'd have done it regardless." he said, "I need your help giving my truck a tune up, so I was just going to stay the night if you didn't care."

Rhi gave Wes a look and sighed. "It'll have to wait until tomorrow. I've got to do a few things to Serg's bike tomorrow." She said, "Plus, we've got other things to worry about."

Wes nodded. "Yeah, Kyp told me about Gio's group. How are Lu and Jax taking it?"

"Haven't called yet." she said, and she looked to her phone when it went off and she groaned. "Though it looks like it can't wait until the morning. Kyp said there was a fire demon there from how one of the bodies look. Could be the one Jax lost." She said, and Rhi started calling Lucien and walked from the table for a moment and Wes looked to Eli.

"Sorry if I freaked you out too, I've got to pick on her. She's so easy to pick on." he said, "You need a ride home? I've got room in my truck if need be."

--

When Tara had asked Kyp if he'd teach her some hacker stuff, he only thought for a moment. It would be great to have someone else to hack, so he nodded. "Sure, I'll teach you. Just once everything gets settled and you have time, the next few days I'll be really busy." he told her. Now the thing about knives made his face turn sort of impressed. "That usually takes years to learn, you are quick." he said.

It wasn't long after that Serg came up and once it was decided that Tara would be coming with them, Kyp headed towards his wagon and he looked to Serg as they headed out. "What was that about?" he asked, and Serg gave him a look.

"You no do good with people, people no understand me a lot of time. She do good." Serg said, and once they were on their way to the location, Kyp and Serg both headed over and started inspecting the bodies. Kyp couldn't help but to frown at some of them. This wasn't just them being killed, it was a massacre. It was needlessly violent, and Kyp took his camera out of his pocket and began taking pictures. He knew they would need this information to determine what demons did this because they all had different targets and this group didn't like to keep paper documentation from what Rhi had said. Which was annoying.

Serg had walked over to one body that was already covered with a sheet and when he saw it, he sighed. "Thought I see all." he mumbled to himself, seeing that the head was very roughly removed, but upon further inspection he saw that it had been exploded. Another body near it had been heavily burnt and Serg looked to Kyp. "Fire demon. Jax hunt one while back right?"

Kyp nodded, walking over to the bodies and looked them over. "That one is damn near identical to a body he had come across. Could be the same one he lost. It's been a few years, so it could be very possible." Kyp said, sending a message to Rhi and then going back to his documentation. He came up to the last one. The body had had something done to it he'd never seen, and he took a few extra pictures of it to see if they could figure it out later. This was a lot of damage done too, but luckily it was far enough into the forest that not many people would be able to see it.

He took a bit of a walk to where he could see the road and made a note of the street camera and nearby buildings that he could check footage on so they could figure out which targets did this exactly. For the most part, it wasn't hard to know the others from the mall and around town. This group was demon hunters, but there was a large population of demons on their list too, and if not just pure demons, demon hybrids too. A few Hell Knights even.

"It not the one is it?" Serg asked Kyp when he got back over to him and Kyp shook his head.

"It appears to have been a fire demon and another kind. It wasn't the one Rhi went loopy over years ago." he said, quietly, and soon they met back up with Tara, Kyp still documenting things in his phone and looking through the photos.

Eli couldn't help but make a slight face as Rhi said something about Chester liking when girls were rough with him. Though...he kind of couldn't say nothing about that. It was still disgusting to think about Chester liking it, he shuddered a bit himself. “That's a little more than I wanted to know about this guy honestly.” He said taking the last drink from his glass with a small chuckle.

He gave a small nod, it was no wonder that she was upset if her brother and his friend had almost went with the group. It was a good thing that they hadn't though, though he doubted that this was a good time to bring that up. Instead he decided that comment on the other part of the conversation. “How many were in the group? Because if it was a large group there had to be a powerful, whatever they were hunting.”

When the topic changed to his bullets, he was happy to see her smiling a bit. Giggling even. Eli chuckled a bit and shook his head. “Alright Madam McDanger. But I still haven't tested how it held up at high speed and these are toxic to us humans too. So please be careful, and with a gun that's not yours. I remember last time I ruined your gun. I thought you were gonna shoot me.”

Eli couldn't help but be a little fascinated by this wedding Rhi had gotten information about. Especially after what she said about the all of the vampires coven leaders being there. He nodded at bit at her words, this was definitely something that they would have to get more information to plan out and it would have to be a solid plan. “Do you think that was what the southern council member that we found at the mall was here for? Because if so we will have to be extra careful checking these points and our information out.” He frowned a little as he thought for a moment. “If this is a vampire wedding, we should at least check out those places once in the morning just to safely check the vantage points.” He said before he got distracted by Taylor’s texts and he chuckled as he watched Rhi make her own list. “I’m guessing so, he usually only messages me list of my people.” He nodded a bit and replied to Taylor telling him that Rhi said hi and that she would give him her number tomorrow.

Eli couldn't help the fact he tensed up when the blonde guy just came over and pinched Rhi. Especially with the tense feeling in the air, but once Rhi laughed and started drinking the wine, he relaxed a bit. He nodded to Wes as he introduced himself, giving a small smile. “Oh you're the one I haven't met yet. Eli Harris.”

For the few moments he sat back half listening to them talk about Wes’ car, half in his own now slightly blurry thoughts. The fire demon information peaked his interest a little more and absentmindedly walked Rhi walk away. His eyes looked back to Wes when he apologized again for freaking him out. Eli just shook his head a little. “You don't really freak me out, as much as caught me ready to get protective.” He chuckled before shaking his head again. “I had the pleasure of meeting Chester.”

Eli smiled a little bit at the offer for a ride. “I appreciate it, but I already have someone coming to give me a ride.”

“And he would be really pissed if he came all the way out here. Just to find out you left with someone with a nicer truck.” Taylor’s amused voice came from behind Eli, making Eli chuckle. Taylor smiled a bit towards the guy on the other side of the table before offering him a hand. “Taylor Bishop.” He introduced himself before looking around. “This place is fancy, no bar fights, graffiti, or” Taylor made a sight face “naked ladies dancing on things.” Taylor took a seat on the other side of Eli, letting himself check out Wes a bit as he sat down. “Where's Rhi?”

---

“Mason decided that they needed a few more hunters in their group and asked me to go with them. We’d been following for about two hours before the explosion. Then the girl pulled the guys into the woods, and they had me and one of the other guys” He gestured back towards the people working on the bodies. “watch for any reinforcements. We could hear the fighting and then all the sudden everything got kind of quiet. So we went to go see if they had killed the demons. We made it just into the trees only to see the bodies of our friends laying on the ground. Mason, just laying there with his head…….”

Jeffrey shook his head a bit as if it would make the scene in his head disappear, he was clearly trying to fight back tears. “I'm sorry other than a couple voices, two female one male, and some kind of weird smoke signal. I didn't see or hear anything else. I was a bit of a wrack about my little brother.” Tara patted his back a little.

“Thanks Jeffrey, this was more help then you know.” She said giving her best sympathetic look. Before she left him she offered to drive him home, which he shook his head.

“Thanks Tara, but I have a car parked not far from here.” He answered not even bothering to look at her and for a moment she wasn't sure if she should leave him or not. But she couldn't very well tell a grown man that he wasn't allowed to drive himself home.

“Alright, be careful though okay. And if you need anything at all, you know Taylor and Eli’s number.” That got her a simple nod and she frowned a bit and left the man alone to go looking for Kyp and Sergo. “Hey guys...so um we have kind of a witness. He didn't know what demons they were hunting, because he and his brother…” She gestured to the covered body towards the front of the woods. “Were covering for a couple guys that couldn't show up. There must have been someone waiting in the woods because he said they were after two of them but there was three voices.” She explained before tell them the rest of what he had told her.

She sighed a bit when he asked about the hunting group. "6. They were demon hunters, so it doesn't surprise me that they ran into a strong one. Our entire list was crawling with strong ones, makes me wonder which ones." she said, and she was more than happy that the subject changed. "It was a good gun!" she laughed a little more. The wine was definitely doing it's job, "But I'll keep that in mind. And I am always careful."

The subject shifted again, and Rhi sighed. "It was a council member in the South. A high ranked one too, and to be honest, given the experience of who was in the mall tonight, I was surprised they were taken out. They were two under the leader, Cassandra. Lucien keeps me in the loop on the things with Xander and our father, and this is one of those covens that ties in directly with witches." she said. "Yeah. Vantage points will be everything. I'm sure Kyp will start looking into this stuff as soon as he gets a chance. He'll be able to give us a run down of it. However, with it being a vampire oriented thing, it seems, it'll all take place after dark more than likely, so it gives us an advantage there too. Even the witch covens working with the vampires wouldn't make the amount of daylight rings that this event would call for."

Once Wes came though, things had changed pace a little, and soon Rhi walked off to make a phone call. Wes chuckled at Eli's answer. "Yeah, none of us like him. We can't deny he gives good information though," he said, his eyes glancing back to Rhi. "He always tries something with Serg isn't with her. He didn't much like meeting me."

Wes couldn't help but to chuckle again when he saw the new guy-Taylor- come over. He smiled a bit and reached his hand out to him when he introduced himself. "Wesley Ward, but everyone calls me Wes." He shook his head. "Rhi knows the owner and every bartender here, this is the only place in town she'll do business because of it. Serg pretty much insists it too." He motioned his head towards the bar where Rhi was sitting, talking on her phone. Wes frowned a little at the look on her face. "She had to call her brother. The hunting group that he knew was killed. Apparently not a good conversation from the looks of it."

Rhi came back shortly after, rolling her eyes. "That went about as expected." she sighed, looking up and seeing Taylor before she smiled a little. "Hey. I see you have finally gotten to meet Wes."

--

Kyp had went on with the documentation as Serg looked through some photos before Tara came over to them. Kyp rose a brow and nodded. "Well, there was a fire demon at least. We've seen bodies similar to one of them before. The other might not have even been a demon, and for there to be a third waiting for them here is odd... I figure someone would have caught them before the fight broke out, but I can always find a way to check. I'll check the areas around the forest as well. There is a lot of surveillance around the edges of the forest, so it shouldn't be hard to spot."

Serg sighed, "Maybe not hide and wait. Maybe show up later. Witch can do that. So other race. Da?"

Kyp sighed, "That is true. Ghosts used to be popular in the area, it could explain some of it, but even then... They leave traces." he said, motioning to a device on his belt. "But my emf hasn't gone off at all, and it's a little eerie that it hasn't. And hoenstly, I don't know about witches. Very very few can do magic like that."

Serg shrugged. "Reaper? They thing, right?"

Kyp gave a look. "I don't know. There isn't much known on those, seeing as they just started appearing... Well, a few months ago. And we only have one on record." Kyp looked to Tara, "Thank you for talking to him. We're not the best at it." He looked to see the guy had already gone. "If it helps you, I can check traffic cameras later and make sure he arrived to wherever he went safely."

Serg's phone went off and he looked at the message and sighed. "Lucien and Jax are taking as expected. Rhi not seem happy. It be long night." Serg looked to Tara. "We still have few more things to do, if you want to help. I have get finger prints for mortician."

Tara listened to the guys as they started trying to figure out what creature the other two had with them. It felt like they were overlooking a few and when Serg said something about Reapers she sighed thinking a bit. “I mean he never said if the other creature actually attacked or not. Guys you are overlooking the fact we are in the middle of the woods. If the other thing was a simply a get away it could have been a fae or nymph some go through trees.” She said looking at both of them.

Tara smiled a bit when Kyp said they weren't good at talking to people like that and nodded. “No problem, I have to for Eli all the time.” She glanced back at where he had been sitting and shrugged a bit. “Sure, I'm sure Tali would appreciate it.” When he asked if she wanted to help them some more she smiled and nodded again. “Sure what can I do?”

---

Eli chuckled a bit and shook his head. “Sure, because I don't remember you almost blowing up a coffee shop before getting the people out.” He couldn't help but make a face at her next words. “So someone used the bombs to cover up killing one of their elders to blame it on us.” He shook his head. “I mean, I don't care but grow a pair.” The subject changed again to this wedding and he nodded a bit. He had no doubt Kyp would look into it. Hell, he had a habit of looking into details that he didn't even think of. But still that didn't mean there wasn't some risk. “That's true, but doesn't mean they won't have the witches helping them set it up during the day.”

Once Wes joined them and Rhi left the table, the conversation switched to Chester. He dealt with quite a few scam of the earth, but it took a lot to make his skin crawl like that guy. He shook his head a little when Wes said that Chester had good information. “I would hope so, he makes the assholes I get information from look like saints.” Eli just shaked his head a little bit at what Wes said about him trying things when Serg wasn’t around. He fully intended to keep his promise about having his balls cut off. He chuckled slightly. “Oh yeah? What did you do when you met him?”

“Nice to meet you Wes.” Taylor said as he sat down, before nodding a bit about Rhi knowing the owner and bartenders. “You need to start having meetings here too Eli.”

Eli chuckled “I think my meeting place is pretty nice, considering.”

“Yeah, no, it's not.” Taylor said giving Eli a look, to which he just shrugged off. Taylor gave a sad look when Wes said that Rhi’s brother knew the hunting group that was killed. “How is she taking it?” When Rhi came back to the table Taylor smiled at her and nodded a bit. “Hey Rhi. Yeah, and he didn’t run away like you said he might.” He said with a slight laugh.

---

Willow smiled and stretched her body the best she could, despite the fact she couldn’t really move very well. Looking down she softly put her hand on the top of Sal’s head, who was half cuddling, half laying on top of her. It took her a few minutes to get out of bed, but it was something she both loved and was used to so she couldn’t complain. Walking into the the kitchen she sighed to herself, cleaning her dishes from the night before and started maybe breakfast for everyone. Some leftover steak, eggs, hashbrowns, and coffee.

Off in her own little world she barely even noticed other people coming into the kitchen until Tiff peeked over her shoulder and asked what she was doing. “Well, I didn’t get to make you dinner last night so I thought I would make breakfast.” She answered with a smile before she started making plates as the others came in.

---

The whole world sucked! The light sucked! She never hated the sound of birds outside of her window so freaking much. With a groan Jo turned away from the light from the window, cursing the fact that she had drunk the whole rest of the half of a bottle left over from Alex. Now she had a hangover, a boyfriend that was mad at her, and her sisters were waiting to bitch her out too. All she wanted was to cuddle Alex, he made things better.

Finally after laying there for a few hours she got out of bed and went into the kitchen to find everyone already there eating breakfast. Willow was nice enough to make her plate, and smiled a bit thanking her, before eating. After a few moments of silence eating she looked over to Drake. “Do you think you would have time to go to town with me later? I need to get something for Alex.”

---

It wasn’t very often when he stayed over that her alarm woke him, but the night before had been such a eventful one that he had actually had trouble sleeping. Feeling the movement on the bed, Logan groaned his arms wrapping around Billie’s body and pulled him closer to him cuddling her against him. “No, you aren’t allowed to go for your run yet.” He mumbled in her ear sleepily, feeling her chuckle a little against him.

He didn’t after falling asleep again but woke up alone an hour later and sighed to himself as he got up and got dressed again. If nothing else at least he would have time to get a shower and relax a little bit for his day off. He made sure to lock the door behind him as he left and headed to his house. As soon as he opened the door, he found himself smiling at the fact Clary was curled up still on the couch. Following the smell of food cooking, Logan headed into the kitchen to find Cole. “Hey, what you making?” He asked leaning against the door frame.

Kyp looked to Tara and nodded when she said Tali would appreciate it. Hell, if all he had to do was check some traffic cameras to give someone some solace, he'd take that little bit of time out of his day anytime. "Well, Serg is fingerprinting. I'm going to gather what valuables I can and label them so when we contact next of kin, we can at least return some of their stuff. As hard as it can get, at least they can have something of theirs." he said, running his hand over his face and he went over to the car and grabbed out some gloves and ziploc bags.

"And be sure you let someone know you made it home tonight." Kyp said, "All of us who hunt with Rhi are at her house tonight, but just tell Eli or someone to tell Rhi so we know." he leaned down a little and whispered by her ear. "Serg is a huge worry wart after shit like this goes sideways." he chuckled and handed her some gloves and he began at the body whose head had been exploded and he shook his head. "So unnecessary...

--

Wes couldn't help the small chuckle that came when Eli asked what he did when it came to Chester. "I waited until after Serg came to pick up Rhi, followed him out, had his head almost inside the fan motor of the piece of shit he drives. Told him he tries anything again, he's going to end up with a wrench in a place he wouldn't appreciate. Then wake up in the wrong part of a demolition derby." He shook his head. "Still waiting to see Rhi shove the .22 she always carries down his throat and threaten to make him shit bullets."

Wes raised a brow at the small conversation between Eli and Taylor and he just looked confused. "I don't even want to ask, I guess." He said, and when Rhi came back, she just chuckled at Taylor's comment.

"I also half expected the meeting to be at the office." she said, and she covered Wes's ears very poorly, "He doesn't do so well in doctor's offices." she whispered loudly.

Wes shook his head when Rhi moved her hands. "Wrong. I don't do well with hospitals." he shuddered involuntarily. "Regular doctor's offices aren't so... I don't even know."

Rhi shook her head a little. She leaned over and whispered something to Wes who just turned a faint shade of pink. "That's what I thought." she said, and Wes rolled his eyes.

"Anyway, you want to stay a little longer or you ready to head out?" Wes asked.

"If you're ready, I am. I know you just got back into town and probably want to crash." Rhi said, and she looked to Eli and Taylor. "See you tomorrow. Might not be there as early as usual. Got to tune up Serg's bike and help Wes tune up his truck too."

"She can get to the back spark plugs. Smaller hands and all." Wes said with a laugh. "Nice meeting you guys."

With that Wes waved and Rhi did too as they went to head out.

--

Sal woke up to the bed empty, and he sat up and rubbed his eyes a little bit. He turned a bit and blinked before he turned his head from side to side before he noticed the faint aura of the symbol Willow had put on the inside of her door for him so he could see it when he needed to leave the room and she wasn't in there with him or he just didn't want to wake her. He carefully stood and walked to the door. It took him a moment to find the door knob before he got the door opened and he started following the scent of breakfast. He felt a hand on his should and he heard Drake chuckle. "Morning." he said.

"Morning Drake." he said, and when they got into the kitchen, Drake made sure Sal got to sitting down before he got some water and sat down himself. He looked at the clock and shook his head. "Shit, I missed the morning run. Oh well, I'll go later this afternoon." he said.

Sal spoke. "I don't think Billie will say anything. It was a long night." he said, and Drake nodded a bit.

"This is true." Drake said, and he smiled to Willow when breakfast was served. "Thanks Will."

They had all been eating when Jo came down, and he looked her over. She seemed hungover, but then again she had a rougher night than most of them did. She spoke to him, and he nodded. "Of course. You don't mind if we stop by the gym while we're out though, do you? I've got to see if any of the potential clients I had actually decided to sign up. That and I told Joe I would look at the sign ups for the boxing classes Billie coaches. Since he helps her out."

Sal tilted his head. "And can you see if I left my other walking stick there? I think I did yesterday when I went with you."

"Sure, no problem." Drake said. He then looked over to Tiffany and placed a kiss to the top of her head when he went to put his plate in the sink.

--

The alarm going off made Billie open her eyes and slap her hand against it. Run time was coming too early today, and when Logan pulled her closer to him, she let herself get comfortable for a little longer. About fifteen minutes later, Billie heard the alarm go off again and groaned, but she sighed. If she started getting lazy about it now, it would become a habit, and she was sure Randa wasn't going to be available later for a run. This had been the first day in weeks she and Garret had been off together, and she could only imagine how long they'd be lazing around in bed. She carefully slipped out of bed and pulled on her track pants and pulled on her sports bra. She pulled a hoody on over it and pulled her hair up into a ponytail before she put on her shoes and looked over to Logan. She smiled and kissed his cheek before she grabbed her phone and earbuds.

The air was crisp this morning and she was instantly glad she opted for a hoody. She turned and locked the door behind her and began stretching on the front porch. Drake nor Cole was up and outside yet, and she looked around. Alex would probably pitch a fit that she was going running alone again, but it wasn't too long after that she saw Joe coming out of the house in his shorts, hoody, and running shoes. She waved him over and he rubbed his side a little. "Didn't think anyone else would be up for the run this morning."

Joe chuckled, sleepily. "I rolled off my bed this morning. Figure since I was up, I'd go for a run. Probably try to catch a little more sleep when I get back, considering I work the later shift tonight."

Billie nodded. "One of these days we need to get you some bouncers that can actually do their job. Bring them to the boxing classes. That will thin out the weak ones quick." she chuckled, and he nodded. When they finished stretching they started on their run. It was quite a route, they headed up a few blocks and ran around the huge park nearby. After lapping it a few times, Billie looked to Joe. "Want to get some breakfast?"

Joe nodded. "Please. I'm going to bring something back for Hoyt and Rose too."

"Don't worry, I'm going to bring back the hangover breakfast for Alex too." Billie said, and Joe shook his head.

"That bad?" he asked, and Billie nodded as they headed across the street to a small diner that had just barely opened.

--

Ding dong! The noise was faint, but it assaulted Randa's ears. She groaned and turned over before she heard it again. "Go away." she mumbled before the third time it rang. Her eyes opened and she got herself out of bed. She looked on the floor and grabbed her underwear and bra before she pulled on her robe and shuffled to the door. The doorbell rang again. "For fuck's sake, keep your panties on! I'm coming!" She growled when she left the bedroom. She looked at the clock on the stove and groaned again. It was just barely eight! She heard the doorbell one more time, and she opened the door and her left hand covered the doorbell and when she moved it, she saw it melted.

After she melted the door bell, she looked up and saw Alex standing there and she shook her head. "You know Garret's gonna bitch you out something fierce when he decides to get out of bed right? I did all the proper steps to reschedule my appointment." Randa whined, and she saw he had a box of doughnuts in one hand with two cups of coffee balanced on it and his legal pad in the other.

"I brought you breakfast, and coffee. Plus this isn't a you session, this is a me session. I could barely sleep last night, and I need to talk it out..." Alex said, and Randa motioned for him to come in.

"It couldn't have waited until at least 10?" she asked, motioning to the couch for him to sit down. He handed her a coffee and set down the doughnuts. "Garret and I haven't had a day off together in weeks, Al, we didn't plan on getting up until noon."

"I'm sorry..." he said, and he watched as she reached her hand out and he placed his glasses in her hand. She put them on and then he handed her his legal pad.

"And you're going to have to deal with a robe because I plan on going back to bed after this, and you freak out anytime I'm in just my underwear around you." Randa said, and she clicked the pen and looked to the legal pad before she looked to Alex. "So, I'm guessing this has something to do with you and Jo?"

He nodded. "Good guess."

"We could hear you two arguing last night. You'd have had to be deaf to not hear that shit." Randa said. "You ever think that maybe, just maybe you are smothering her with how protective you can be?"

"I can't help that, Randa." he said, and Randa shot him a look.

"And I'm the virgin Mary. You can give me a better reason than that." Randa said, and Alex groaned. "Hey, you woke me up. You're getting absolutely no filter this morning, Al. Not to mention, I'm not stopping Garret when he bitches you out either."

Alex sighed and he watched her sip on her coffee and he got up and turned on their coffee pot and he saw her get a doughnut. "I just... she's so important to me, and..."

"Does she know how you feel?" Randa asked.

"Yeah. Last night, despite it all, was the first time we told each other we loved each other." he said, and Randa shook her head.

"Then why the fuck are you stressing?" Randa asked. It was at that moment she quieted a little, hearing movement from the bedroom. "Hold that thought, Al."

--

Dahl felt a nudge against her foot, and she opened her eyes slightly and saw Poppy gently nudging her foot. "Oh hey, Pop. You need to go out girl?" she yawned, and she heard the hound whine quietly. She blinked a bit and looked at saw she and Zach had fallen asleep on the couch last night. She saw the TV was off, and she grabbed Poppy's leash and put it on her before she walked her a bit outside. Once Poppy was done, they went back into Zach's house and Poppy laid back down. Dahl smiled a little and covered Zach up a little more with the blanket they had been using. She kissed his temple and began cleaning up what was left from last night. When she was done she looked through the cabinets and started making some coffee and breakfast for them.

She was hoping it would be a nice surprise for him when he woke up, considering they didn't get to eat breakfast together a lot. She had an early shift, and she was usually leaving when he was just waking up. She filled the sink with water so she could wash dishes as she went, and soon she heard Poppy softly bark, and she moved to check on her. She chuckled. She was having a puppy dream. "That still scares me." she mumbled to herself.

--

Cole woke up fairly early, and she smiled to see Clary still sleeping when she got up. She stretched a bit and turned off the TV and pulled the blanket over Clary a bit better so she wouldn't get too cold. After she washed her face and hands, she headed back down into the kitchen and began making some breakfast and coffee. Omelets, hashbrowns, bacon, and sausage. She heard the door open and close before she heard Logan's voice and she smiled to him. "Morning." she greeted. "I've got omelets, hashbrowns, bacon and sausage. If you don't like omelets I can make you something else, but if you do, just gotta know what you want in it. I don't think I've made omelets here in a while."

Cole placed a cup of coffee in front of Logan and took a sip of her own. She took a pouch out of her pocket and emptied it into her coffee and took another sip. "Morning Glory coffee goes hard in the morning." she smiled.

Willow gave a smile as Drake thanked her for breakfast and nodded a bit. "You're welcome." She answered before sitting Saul's down with a kiss on the cheek before getting her own breakfast. Only to end up giving it to Jo has she stumbled in looking like, well shit. She nodded a bit before remaking her plate and finally starting to eat herself. She was partly glad that Tiff just ignored Jo instead of starting a fight straight out with the guys here. She had no doubt that it wouldn't last long after the guys left. Just like she couldn't deny the fact she was a little angry with Jo herself. But last night had been a rough night for half of the group, and the fight she and Alex had was so loud, she wouldn't have been surprised if their new friends heard it.

Jo smiled a bit when Drake said that he would go to town with her. At least he didn't seem angry with her, and it was nice. Tiffany was lucky in that way, her boyfriend was overprotective but not to the extreme of Alex. "Yeah, that totally fine." She answered quietly as she finished up her breakfast, and going to get dressed.

Tiffany was still trying to wake up honestly and that was one of the reasons she wasn't laying into her sister at this moment. That and the fact she was hungry from not eating dinner the night before, so she was busy stuffing her face. When Drake kissed the top of her head, she glanced at him and smiled.

Once Drake and Jo left, Willow looked at Tiffany. "So Tiff, me and Sal had planned to go to the park because it's supposed to be a nice day. Do you want to tag along?"

Tiff frowned a bit to herself. "I would Will, but I'm right in the middle of a project. And I only have until the end of the week. But please find someone to go with you."

---

Jo was really was thankful that Drake agreed to go with her to town, and when he met up with her outside she smiled at him. "Thanks agree for coming with me Drake." She said softly as they towards town. "I mostly just need to go to the record store and to swing by a liquor store somewhere."

---

Logan couldn't help but smile at how cheerful Cole was this early in the morning. "I would love one with bacon and cheese please." He said before walking over to the table, and he took a seat before looking at the cup Cole put in front of him. "Thank you, you didn't have to do that though." He said still with a smile. When she said something about the Morning Glory he chuckled a bit and took a sip of his own coffee. "So what do you and Clar Bear have planned for today? It's your day off right?"

---

It wasn't the noise of the doorbell that woke Garret, but the motion of her leaving the bed and moving around the room. For a moment he laid there and waited for her to come back to bed, before he heard the doorbell and knew why she had gotten up. With a groan he rolled over, only to groan a little again when his stab wound touched the mattress. Though it was healed, it was still sore as hell due to how deep it was. It would definitely scar that version of his form, which was a shame because that was the last one that wasn't. The doorbell rang two more times before it was shorted out. Which was probably a good thing, he would really hate to beat Alex's ass naked.

Garret laid there for a little while trying to get back to sleep, seeing that Randa had cancelled her appointment he assumed it was probably around 10 or 11. However, it was his night off and he wasn't going to get up before noon if he could help it. It didn't help though that with the quietness of the house, their talking was just loud enough for him to hear through the walls. Even if he couldn't make out all of the words. With a sigh he reached up and checked his phone, to see that it was only 8am. "Are you fucking kidding me?" He muttered to himself. What the fuck was Alex's problem with letting people sleep until normal fucking hours.

He cursed under his breath as he got out of bed looking for his boxers. He wasn't going to get fucked dressed for this bullshit, if Alex was going to him up this early, he was lucky he was wearing boxers. The bedroom door opened quickly, as he glared at Alex. Though it might have been a little more intimidating if he wasn't sporting a bedhead, or a hickey on his chest and collar. "What the fuck is your problem dude? Your girlfriend being pissed at you ain't good enough? You fucking hate sleep? I'm start stopping by your house on my way home and fucking wake you up at 3am." Garret said, before moving closer and taking the cup of coffee from Alex's hand.

"You don't deserve this cup of coffee, you deserve your fucking ass beat." He added before taking a drink of the coffee. "Also you shouldn't have walked away like a jackass, just made it worse." He added before walking over to Randa and kissed her lips and neck before whispering in her ear. "You need to get you some of those glasses." Before taking a couple doughnuts and heading back into their bedroom. Sitting the coffee and doughnuts on the side table, he took a quick shower.

---

The delicious smell of bacon woke Zach up from a death sleep. It took a few moments for him to gather his bearings. Groaning a bit as he stretched a bit, before at the fact Dahl must have covered him up when she woke up before him. They must have fallen asleep during the movie last night. The fact that his back was killing him was as much of a give away as the fact he was on the couch.

After laying there for a moment he made his way into the kitchen, to see Dahl cooking franch toast. Wrapping his arms around her waist from behind pulling her gently closer to him. "This explains why I was dreaming about food." He chuckled before kissing her cheek and telling her good morning before letting her go. "Do you want any help?"

---

Her hands hurt from digging in the rumble, chucks of cement laid everywhere around her. Some thrown to the side that she dug through, some still left from the explosion. Everything around her was in slow motion, the rest of the building in an echo. Other than the sobs of Aless who dug through on the other side of the room. She needed to keep her sobs quiet. She needed to be strong for both of them.

"We haven't been able to find her! She has to be here." Kat glanced up for a moment at Aless, tears silently running down her face. "We have to find her before the hunters break though Kat!" She didn't answer, she couldn't, she looked back to the large pile of rubble that only seemed to be getting bigger. They wouldn't…..they wouldn't be able to get through this before they broke through! It was right then that she saw the blonde hair through the cracks of some of the rubble a bit farther up. She choked out a sob as she grabbed the large slab of cement…."

Kathleen woke herself up crying, the feel of a panic attack tight on her chest. Sitting up she pulled her knees to her chest as she gathered her bearings, loud breathless sobs making their way out of her throat. She needed to take a breath...she needed to take a breath...Kathleen closed her eyes taking a slow breath in...and out. Calming herself. Opening her eyes, she looked around the room. She was home, and her body relaxed a bit. She was home, everyone had made it out alive. She glanced to her side to see that Aless wasn't asleep beside her, she must have gotten up already. Though that had been a rough night and she wouldn't have been surprised if she kept Aless awake talking in her sleep, because she kept waking herself up.

Getting out of bed slowly, her head hurt slightly and she felt like she hadn't slept at all. She didn't even want to get dressed this morning and so she didn't even bother, just walking out in her pajamas. The house was always quiet down this hallway and that was the reason she wanted her room here, because she could blare her music without bugging Aless. However, this morning it was more erie than relaxing. She rubbed her arm down the other one as she walked down the hall, but as she got close to the living room she could hear the faint voices coming from the kitchen. She made her way a bit more quickly into the kitchen.

Mal, Aless, and Lia were gathered around in the kitchen talking quietly. Though Kat was more laser focused to care about what they were talking about. Heading straight for her mother, and when Lia turned to ask what was wrong, she hugged her without saying a word. Eyes watering as she hugged her tightly.

Mal looked at Aless with a confused look on her face as Kat hugged on Lia sobbing against her. "Is she okay?" She whispered before Lia calmed Kat down enough find out while she was crying. When she told Lia that she had dreamt that Lia had died in the explosion, then she and Aless had to find the body before the hunters did. The whole light conversation changed. Once Lia was able calm Kat down enough, and get her to sit down to eat some breakfast, Mal put a hand on Kat shoulder as she sat by her. "Kat, would you like me to turn you into a cat again?"

Kat nodded a bit to Mal, as ridiculous as it might have sounded, the last time she was this far out of whack, it did help. Her body did feel a little less tense after Mal had turned her in a calico, glancing at Lia she hopped up on the table so she could eat her breakfast.

Sal had kind of zoned out for a while during breakfast. He couldn't really help it, and while he hated to admit it, he was still fuzzy after the vision last night. He had seen some vivid images in his dreams but nothing coherent. Times like this he wished he wasn't this type of seer. He hated seeing possible ways the world could end, especially when he couldn't remember them right away. But at the same time, he knew his subconscious would allow him to see more when it was worked through.

When Willow brought up the park, he snapped back. "We will. I know Clary and Cole are off today too, and maybe we could see if some others want to go with. It's always nice to have picnics in the park on days like today. Especially with a group of us." He said. He could feel what Tiffany was getting at, but he also knew that if push came to shove they would be okay. Even if it was just him and Willow. His lessons with Drake and Billie about fighting had been going relatively well, even if it wasn't the best. Willow was strong on her own too, but there was always safety in numbers.

"How is your project coming anyway?" Sal asked.

--

Drake left the Reid house after breakfast, knowing Sal and Willow had plans for the day. And that Sal had stuff there already. So, when he walked into the empty house that was shared between him, Cole, Sal, Billie, and Alex, he was only slightly surprised. He figured Alex would be there at least, knowing Billie was probably still out for her run and that Cole stayed with Clary. He quickly got ready for the day and slung a bag over his arm. His clean gym stuff for when he went back in. It was always nice to have it there after a couple of days off.

When he opened the door to leave, he saw Billie coming in. "Morning." He said.

"Hey. Alex up yet?" She asked and Drake gave a look.

"He's not even home right now." He said. He saw the look on her face and he patted her shoulder. "Good luck B. I'll let you and Joe know about new prospects. I told Jo I'd go into town with her."

He saw Billie take a minute to process what he said before he got a thank you. Billie had been texting and he sighed a bit and headed back over to head out with Jo.

When Jo thanked him, he just smiled. "Of course. It's not a big deal. There is a record store near the gym, and I'm sure we'll run into a liquor store. Unless you were up to going to the one Billie owns, considering we all know it has everything."

They began heading off and Drake looked down to her. "You okay? Last night was pretty rough all around."

---

Once Logan told her what he wanted in his omelete, Cole started making it and smiled. "It was a long night, man. Coffee is necessary." She went back to cooking before thinking a moment. "Fortunately, yeah I'm off. Not sure what we are doing yet though. Probably going to eat and go back to bed for a while. She's probably still going to be tired. She was mumbling in her sleep when I got up."

"Who was doing what?" Clary's voice came out as a yawn. She stretched a bit and gave Logan a sleepy hug. "Morning." After she let go of him, she smelled the air. "Mmmm… smells good."

"Thanks." Cole said before putting some tea in front of Clary and a plate. It wasn't long after she put Logan's plate in front of him.

"When did you come in, Lo?" She asked, taking a sip of her tea before Cole joined them. Clary gave a sleepy smile to Logan when he answered. "Sorry you ended up awake so early, but I do enjoy when we have breakfast together."

Cole couldn't help but smile. She loved how endearing Clary and Logan could be. Especially in the morning before Clary got really hyper. That was endearing too, but since she had become a reaper, Clary's calm just added to it.

"What have you got planned for the day, Logan?" Cole asked after a few minutes.

---

Once the bedroom door opened, Alex and Randa both looked to Garret. Alex just sighed and shook his head. "I don't hate sleep…"

"Could have fooled me. Or is it a vendetta against our doorbell? Speaking of. Babe, I might have melted the damn thing to the point it can't be used." Randa said. What Garret had said next to Alex, though, made him look away. He wanted to say something, but Garret had already walked over to Randa. When he kissed her lips and then her neck, she smiled a little before nodding a bit.

"I really do." She whispered back. She watched him walk back into the bedroom and she looked back over to Alex. "He has a point. Walking away was a jackass move. Leaving things unresolved is unhealthy, doc. And walking away leaves them unresolved."

"I say shit I regret when I get that mad. I didn't want to do that. Not to Jo." He said. "Plus, who would she have told?"

Randa rolled her eyes. "Seriously Al? Is that the whole point that is bothering you? And you blame her for not telling you? Frankly, I don't blame her for not. You get so uptight and you act like the girl can't defend herself. In certain situations, sure it is endearing that you protect her and help her, but it was a fucking hunter. Not like it was a fire being. She has the capabilities to take care of herself, whether or not you want to totally accept that."

"How would you feel-"

"For one thing." Randa started. "Don't get in on that. While I do appreciate when Garret gets protective over me, I also have no reason to think he's going to go off the deep end if I tell him something I was able to handle happened. Obviously Jo was able to handle it. Sure, I get your point on wanting to know, but you overdo. You two work in opposite directions and you would either insist on walking with her all the time or something. And the only other person I expect to get that protective over me is Daylen, and even with him being my brother he doesn't get to your level of protective unless I'm not doing well."

Alex sighed, "But you and Jo are different."

"If you'd give her a fucking chance, you would see she is just as capable. Plus she is a fucking fae! She's not like you or I where our power is as strong as our control over it. She has to learn her things or run the risk of never being able to, or did you nod off during those lessons. Besides, whoever she told, I'm sure if it were concerning enough, would have mentioned it. We may be a big fucking group, but respect is something we have all managed to maintain for each other." Alex fell quiet again and soon Randa heard her phone. She took it from her robe pocket and saw it was Billie.

Please for the love of Lucifer tell me Alex isn't over there.

Randa peered over Alex's glasses at him and sighed before she answered her that he was. She heard Alex's phone ring not a moment later. When he answered it, she saw him motion for his glasses back and he took his legal pad. Randa could hear Billie bitching at him and soon he headed out the door. Randa walked over and locked the door again before seeing Alex head back home and she chuckled. She saw Billie messaged her again.

Try to go back to bed, babe. I'm sorry he woke you guys. I'll make sure he doesn't bother you more today.

Randa just smiled. She took another sip of coffee and headed back into the bedroom. She had heard the shower going, but instead she took off her robe and laid back in bed. "Babe! Hurry up! Dr. Pain in the Ass has already left!" She called.

She was honestly surprised too, but she wouldn't deny how grateful she was for Billie at the moment. When they had been talking at lunch a few days ago about it, she knew Billie could tell how much she had been looking forward to having a day off with Garret. Especially after last night. Randa didn't like to show it, but when shit like that happened it made her worry. Not because the people she cared about couldn't handle it, but because of how out of nowhere it felt.

--

Dahl couldn't help but to smile when she felt Zach's arms around her. "Good morning." She said and she turned and kissed his cheek too. "Mind watching the bacon? I swear I will forever undercook or overcook it. Just happens with bacon though." She chuckled a little. She got out a couple of plates before flipping the French toast. She placed a cup of coffee near Zach before Poppy started barking softly again. Dahl poked her head around to check on her and shook her head. "Her puppy dreams still catch me off guard." She said.

She began plating breakfast as it was ready and set it on the table before getting out a few other things for them. She stretched a bit again and felt part of her back pop and blinked a bit. "I can't believe neither one of us woke up until this morning sleeping on the couch." She said before sitting down with him for breakfast. "This is always nice though. Not often we actually get to sit down for breakfast together."

--

When Billie got back after watching Joe head back to his house, she was not happy to hear that Drake was the only one in the house at the moment. That meant Alex went to go bug the only person he would after something like last night. Randa. She had texted Randa and when she confirmed Alex was in fact over there, she groaned and called him. She was getting his breakfast set up for him when he answered.

"Where are you?" Billie asked and when Alex answered he was at Randa and Garret's she huffed. "Are you brain dead?! Why the fuck are you bothering them before at least 10?! You of all people should understand how they need a day off together!"

"I'm on my way home." He said before hanging up. Billie rolled her eyes and shot Randa another message. Seriously, she loved her brother but he needed to consider other people too. He was a great brother and person over all, but when he starts having issues with things, sometimes it seemed questionable. When he walked in the house, Billie gave him a look. "What?"

"How long have you been over there?" She asked and he groaned.

"About 15-20 minutes." He said and Billie motioned for him to sit down. "I barely slept last night."

"And whose fucking fault is that?" She asked. "Certainly not theirs. I'm honestly surprised Garret didn't deck you." She said.

Alex rolled his eyes. "Talking to you is impossible, especially when it comes to things like last night." He said. "You never seem to take my side on anything when it comes down to it."

"I'm also not exactly picking sides. I just call the shit like I see it, and I can't help when you are definitely more in the wrong." She quipped.

"I just don't get why she never mentioned anything to me and went running to someone else." He said.

"You have got to let that go. Don't you think whoever she told would have told you if it were dire?" She pointed out and Alex rolled his eyes. "You do that because there is a point to it. Especially since she came to me about it."

Alex blinked and saw the look Billie shot him. "Why didn't you tell me?" He asked.

"Because it was a non issue. It was handled and Jo and I came up with plans if she ever felt she was in enough danger to need help. That hunter wasn't all that great anyway." Billie said, taking a bite of her breakfast. She could see Alex getting mad and she just waited for him to open his mouth.

"How would Logan feel if you did that to him?" He asked.

"Logan also knows that while the protectiveness is appreciated, that something as small as an inexperienced hunter is a non issue for me. He trusts me and my skills, and he knows if I ever need him, I will tell him. I get that you don't like it being hidden from you, but Al, you go off the deep end with her over small stuff. When was the last time you asked her to show you her newest skill?" She asked and Alex looked away. "Exactly the point. I get it. There is wrong on both sides, but how about instead of getting angry about it, you find a way to talk about it. And work shit out."

He took a bite of food and watched Billie a moment. She took off her hoody and he could see the faint scar from where she got shot. He sighed. He didn't really want to fight with her anymore. "Mind coming into town with me in a bit?" He asked, quietly. She had her points, it was true. He and Jo did need to talk it out, but after everything last night and tensions being so high anyway, it wasn't a good time. Timing seemed to be a lot of the problem.

Billie gave a nod. "Yeah. Sure. I've got to go to the store and take the deposit to the drop box anyway. Why?"

"I want to find something to give to Jo so she knows I am sorry. She and I do need to work it out, and I don't think saying sorry will be enough." He said.

"Alright. I just need to wash up and get dressed. I also need to double check that the order for the bar got put together right. Having promoted a new guy to handle deliveries has caused me to reevaluate a few things." She said and he nodded. He gave a nod and his eyes fell to the other scar she had from getting shot. He knew both scars would be gone by the end of the day, but he couldn't help the worry he felt over her even. "I'm fine, Al. A little sore, but fine."

He nodded. "Sorry. Just can't believe how quickly even gunshots heal on you."

She waved a hand and went to cleaning the dishes.

---

Lia woke early the next morning, like she always did, but for once she allowed herself to lay in bed cuddled up to Mitch for just a while longer. He was warm and when she heard movement in the hallway, she moved as carefully as she could so to not wake him. She kissed his temple before grabbing her robe and leaving the bedroom. She gently shut the door behind her and saw Atticus very sleepily heading back into his room. She let out a soft sigh and headed into the kitchen and started both a pot of coffee and a pot for tea. With both things started, she headed to start some laundry before heading back into the kitchen.

Aless was already awake and her head was laying on the counter, and she saw Mal looking through the fridge. "Top shelf, if you're looking for the leftover muffins from yesterday." She said. Aless walked over and hugged Lia before sitting back down.

"Mom. Tell me that the sage is ready now. I have to redo Roland's compounds again." She said and Lia nodded.

"I'll be pruning more later too." She said, "If you need help, let me know."

Aless nodded. She watched as Lia started going on to make more stuff for breakfast and she asked, "So, mom, are we still going to do something for Kat's birthday?"

"Of course we are. Though, after last night we may need to figure something else out." She said. She looked to Mal but before the conversation could get into full swing, Lia saw Kat. She went to speak, but felt Kat cling to her. Lia held her close, gently stroking her hair. "Shhh…." She whispered against her hair. "Breathe."

Aless looked to Mal and frowned a bit, watching as Lia tried to calm Kat. If anyone could, it was Lia, but still. "She was mumbling in her sleep but I couldn't make out what she was saying." She whispered back. Still watching her mother and sister.

"Kat, what's wrong?" Lia asked after a few moments and getting Kat to at least breathe normally. When Kat told her what was wrong, she held her closer. "I know how hard that dream must have been on you, but we all made it out safely. You're okay, I'm okay, everyone is okay." She brought Kat's face into her hands and kissed her forehead. "Just breathe."

Lia led her to sit down and made her something small for breakfast. She knew when Kat got like this, she didn't eat much, but she was glad to at least see her eating. She got everyone else some breakfast and saw Kat being turned into a cat not long after they were finished. She gently rubbed behind Kat's left ear before excusing herself to check on the laundry.

--

Atty groaned after he tossed again in bed. He was having trouble sleeping and was kind of glad that Kat had opted to stay in her room with Aless. He didn't know how long he had laid there again, but when he finally dragged himself out of bed he rubbed his face. He got dressed and when he got into the kitchen he saw Mal, Aless, and a cat? It took him only a moment to process it was Kat and he sat near where she was. "Bad night, Kitty?" He whispered to her, gently petting her.

Aless looked over and watched as Atticus just petted Kat. It was endearing to say the least and she smiled a bit before seeing Lia come back in. "Morning." He said and Lia nodded and put his tea in front of him.

"Morning." She said before giving him a plate for breakfast. He smiled, weakly, and just kept petting Kat for a few minutes.

"So do I get literal Kitty cuddles today or are you going to be pouncing on everything?" He chuckled before taking a bite of his food. He was glad that Mal did this for Kat. It helped calm her down better than most anything, and after last night he was glad she could at least have that.

When Sal said that Clary, Cole, and maybe a few others were going with them. It eased Tiffany's mind a little. Not entirely, but that was only because of the night before. She couldn't help it though, Willow was her little sister, and Sal was like a baby brother now. "Alright good, Clary and Cole really need a relaxing day too." When Sal asked about her project she smiled. "It's going really well. I can't believe that Zach is going to let me do my own book for them to use. I just have one more to finish. I'm gonna message Zach and go in with him later."

Willow smiled a little seeing how cheerful her project made her just talking about it. Though she raised a brow when Tiff said she was going in later. "I thought you guys had the day off though."

Tiff smiled a little bit. "Technically we are but...Sal you can't tell Drake, Zach is giving me a tattoo for free for my birthday. I wanna surprise Drake."

Will smiled as she started cleaning up the table while Tiff talked. It was adorable now excited she was, her eyes sprinkling a little by the end. "Awww that is sweet. Is that why you were doodling that dragon yesterday?" She smiled even more when Tiff nodded.

"I just hope that it seems…..cute and not like...crazy or clingy." Tiffany said looking down at her glass. "I'm not used to getting to the "I love you" missing them when they aren't around, stage of relationships. I don't want to be unbearable."

Willow smiled a little bit to herself, it was sweetie to see her sister caring for a guy so much for once. "I don't think you have to worry about it that much."

Jo honestly was in her own little world while Drake was grabbing what he needed from their house. Missing Billie coming in altogether. Her head definitely still hurt from her hangover and everything that happened last night was running through her head too. She would be lying if she said she didn't have nightmares about the yard for graves also. It was a little sad how different it was, to go through a night as rough as the night before and not have someone beside you.

Once Drake came back over she thanked him for going into town with her. Though it might not have been a big thing for him, it was kind of for her. Aside from the kind of protection she got from him coming with her. It was always really hard to be in a bad mood around Drake. "Hmm I think I would rather go to one of Billie's cause I know for sure that they have the brand Alex really likes.* She answered, after a bit of thought. That was the good thing about Billie's store, even if they were out of stock, she had one bottle of everyone's drinks held back in case.

When he asked if she was alright, Jo couldn't help but sigh a bit as she looked down at her hands. "Not really, I had nightmares all night about that yard for graves. Kept seeing my name." She answered, her frown deepening a little bit. "And the fact I was an idiot last night, didn't help either." She rolled her eyes. Though it was more at the fact her eyes were starting to water a bit, than at the aftereffect of her stupidity.

Jo subly wiped her eyes hoping that it would go unnoticed. "I really wish that Alex trusted me like you trust Tiff sometimes. You don't treat her like she is some breakable doll. Or at least if you do, it isn't like all the time. I wish he would have just actually fought with me, I don't care if he hurts my feelings. Now it's just weird cause I don't know where we stand." She sighed softly. "I'm sorry you're just easier to talk to then my sisters." Jo added with a small smile.

Logan chuckled a little bit. "Hell, being up this early requires coffee on its own." He nodded a little when Cole said they were probably going to sleep some more. He didn't blame them, he normally wasn't awake this early and kind of wished he wasn't right now. When Clary came in he smiled at her and hugged her back. "Morning sleepy head."

He thanked Cole when she put his plate in front of him. "Only a couple minutes ago. Honestly, Alex woke me up when he left. Because he wasn't home when I got up." He smiled at what Clary said next. "Which makes it definitely worth it. We don't get to have breakfast together often."

Logan smiled to himself a bit as he started eating his omelet. Calm Clary made him oddly glad that he didn't just go back to bed as soon as he got home. When asked what his plans were for together, he sort of shrugged. "I don't really have one. I don't have days off often, so I'll likely hang around here. Maybe watch tv, or work on the sheet music I have been fiddling with." He smiled a bit, no one had gotten to see what he had been missing with other than Billie.

"I think Billie and I were going to go on a date later, not sure if that has changed or not. They opened that new restaurant in town yesterday. But if you guys aren't planning anything for lunch later I'm free. I don't care either way." He added a few moments later, he didn't want them to think he wasn't up for spending time with them later if they wanted. At the same time though, he was looking forward to a bit of a per lazy day.

As he finished his breakfast he stood and cleared his spot. "I am going to go take a shower though so I'll be back if you guys don't go back to sleep." He said before kissing Clary's cheek and gave Cole soft head pats and heading upstairs.

--

Garret glanced at Randa when she said that she melted the doorbell beyond use. "Good, then this fucker can knock and fuck off if we don't answer." He grumbled before taking Alex's coffee and saying he deserved to get his ass kicked. It was probably a good thing that he didn't respond to it, he would have probably started an actual fight. It wouldn't be the first time he punched him in the face over this.

After a few more possibly hurtful but true words he went to take a shower. Because if he was going to have to be awake this early in the fucking morning, he might as well. Something about the warm water was able to lift his mood a little bit, thankfully. He honestly didn't feel like being a dick all day either. He had just about finished when she yelled that Alex had left and to hurry back to bed. Turning the water off he took a minute to dry off and wrap his towel around his waist before coming back into the bedroom.

Garret smiled slightly looking at the masterpiece on the bed before taking her camera and taking a picture before she could react and move. "See that is artwork right there." He said with a small laugh before putting the camera up and climbing into bed with Randa. He cuddled up to her and kissed her neck. "I'm not really sure if I'm gonna be able to go back to sleep. Let's just relax here for a bit and I'll make you an actual breakfast." He mumbled against her before pulling her closer.

It didn't take long before he could hear her breathing soften into tiny snores and he smiled a moment just laying there before getting out of bed making sure not to wake her up. Throwing on some boxers before heading into the living room and turning the tv on for quiet background noise in the background as he made breakfast. He was just closing the waffle make when his show was interrupted by the news flashing about the mall.

"A statement has just been released about the incident at Eastview Mall last night.

That's right Tim, the police department has stated that the cause of the explosion was due to a combination of faulty wiring and a large grease fire in the food court.

That sounds like a pretty large grease fire to cause such a large explosion Melissa.

It really must have been Tim. In other news…."

"Its like they aren't even trying to hide how fucking ridiculous that reasoning is." Garret grumbled to himself as he turned the fire off from under the bacon. "Humans will believe anything I swear." He looked back to the tv just in time to see a picture of Billie and the woman they had joined the night before. Along with a few other people that he didn't recognize.

"....wanted on charges of not only looting in the aftermath of the explosion. But stealing from the victims themselves. I have to say Melissa, this is just si…"

Garret frowned, grabbing his phone from the counter and speed dialed Billie, letting it answer until she answered. "Hey, turn on channel 38."

If there was always one thing that she could count on her mom being able to do, it was make her feel better. Sure she knew that everyone was okay, and that it was just a dream. She also knew that part of it was probably that she was off kilter. Lia, just….she made it better somehow. Kat managed to eat a little food, though in truth she really wasn't that hungry. It was more to make sure she didn't get sick. Then Mal turned her into a cat. Being a cat had turned into some weirdly cathartic thing for her lately.

She laid there for a moment before Lia rubbing behind her ears making her purr. When she stopped Kat stared after her, tail twitching a bit. She was enjoying that, her ears going back a bit before she laid down still staring after her. Then she saw Atticus come in and started purring as soon as he headed towards her. He asked if she had a rough night, and she nodded a bit giving a squeaky meow before purring again as he started petting her.

When he asked if he was getting cuddles or if she was gonna be pouncing on everything, she had to think because the answer was yes to both. He stopped petting to take a bite and she watched him for a moment before reaching a paw up and knocking the folk out of his hand. When he looked at her, she rubbed her head against his hand. He had two hands, he could pet and eat.

--

Mitch groaned a little as the sun angled itself just enough to go through the curtain and straight into his face. Rolling over, he went for Lia, but she was gone. Though he wasn't sure what he had expected, she was always up earlier than everyone one else in the house. He laid there for a few moments debating on going back to sleep or not. He glanced at the clock, usually this way the time that he brought himself to at least wake up.

After a few more minutes he got up and got rid of his bedhead and came into the kitchen to find almost everyone awake. A quick guess that the random cat Atticus was petting was Kat. He smiled a bit going over and kissing Lia's cheek. "Good morning." He said before saying good morning to everyone else and making himself a cup of coffee. He turned to see that Lia had sat him a plate of food in his normal spot. The whole energy of the kitchen was a little tense, and he frowned a bit and took a sip of his coffee. "Mal, is Eve alright? She is usually up by now."

Mal sighed a bit, looking at her muffin. "I think she's fine. She didn't sleep well and was a little bitchy this morning." She frowned a bit. "I think she went to visit some contacts about the hunters. We got into a little fight about her going by herself."

Mitch frowned a little bit. "I'm sorry." He got a small shrug from Mal that made him feel worse somehow. He looked at Kat when she moved a little closer so he could pet her too, and petted her for a moment. "I see you're not feeling much better." He said before looking at Aless. "How are you feeling today?"

--

Eli was in his own little world as he walked into the compound. A cup of coffee and a bag with doughnuts in one hand, his phone in his other. He nodded a bit to the other hunters in the halls when they spoke to him but honestly his thoughts were on the media coverage of the mall. People weren't really buying the reason that he paid them to give. Honestly, he wouldn't have either. The pictures claiming a few heavy hitters they missed, and hunters believed to have ties into the bombings was an added threat too. However, so far there weren't any tips.

"You need to pay attention or you're gonna run into people." A female voice said beside him, he glanced up to see one of Tali's friends keeping up with him.

"Oh, you two made it back." He asked before his eyes went back to his phone as she confirmed that she and Tali had come back early when they heard what happened. "Good, good….would you mind helping Taylor gather up people for check ups?" He said, still looking at his phone. Eli looked at the woman when she sighed and muttered whatever before leaving him. "Tell Tali to call me too." Putting his phone in his pocket he sighed slightly, taking a second to remember where he was. This was one of the hallways that hadn't been quite remodeled yet. Frowning he kept true until he managed to find the room he was looking for. He knocked lightly before coming in.

Sal smiled a little, hearing how happy Tiffany was with not only being about to be able to have her own book at the tattoo shop, but what she had just said about her birthday gift. It was good to finally see Drake with someone who matched how much he cared. Sure, there was Mila a while back, but Sal had never been around Drake this happy with someone. It was genuine, and he could tell it was for Tiff too. He may have hated being completely blind now, but with the acuity he saw auras now... He wouldn't trade some of it.

"I won't say anything." he smiled. "What colors are you going to have used for it?"

When Tiff went on about sounding crazy and clingy, all Sal could do was shake his head. "You won't, Tiff. I can tell you that. I personally think it's really sweet."

He could tell the table was cleared once he heard the sink with dishes, and he leaned forward a little and sighed a bit. He didn't like to lean on the table with food on it because he had a bad tendency to knock it over. He could feel a small pulsating in his head again, and he clutched his forehead. "Do I still have some of that medicine Cole gave me here? My head feels like it's pulsating."

--

Drake looked at his watch when Jo said something about going to one of Billie's stores and nodded. "Alright, we may have to hit it on the way back, I'm not sure they'll be open just yet." he said. "So, I figure we head into the gym real quick, go to that record shop, do whatever else and since the store isn't too far off, we head into the liquor store on the way back." he said. "Sound good?"

When she answered him, he nodded a bit. He knew more about the issues with Jo and Alex than he wanted to admit because he used to be pretty bad about being protective himself, but he also learned a lot of lessons along the way. Lessons Alex obviously either never did or never had the opportunity to. He knew the relationship between he and Ez had been tense a lot because of how often he tried to treat her the way he was treating Jo now. It was where they differed though because Ez wouldn't stand for it at all, and plus she ended up out of the school a lot too. He smiled a little. "I'm always here to lend an ear. I do hope one day Alex learns you're kind of a badass in your own right."

He chuckled a bit as they headed down. "Kick his ass one good time. It may help," he joked. "I get the wanting to be protective thing, but there are some things that can't be helped. You two care a lot about each other, and I know you're both afraid to lose each other. I just think he needs a little bit more of a nudge into realizing you don't always need to be coddled. If I wasn't so sure it might be a bad idea, I would say you two should enroll in one of Billie's self-defense classes. It would help you both. He could see you're not defenseless and you can show to him that you can actually defend yourself. Plus, Billie needs more people to fill the class before she can actually get it going, and if you want to learn how to really fight, she's one of the best to learn from in a technical sense."

When they got to the gym, Drake noticed that the door was still locked, and he sighed and unlocked it and let Jo in before locking it behind them. "We have new equipment coming in today, so we're closed, but they know I'm in here everyday to check on things." he explained. He motioned for her to sit down and he went and grabbed Sal's stick and did a few other things before he got back over to her. "Ready to go when you are." he said

Cole nodded at Logan's notion about being up that early needing coffee in general. "No lies there." she mumbled. She did enjoy watching how Logan and Clary were with each other. She noticed Clary make a face before she joined them.

"Well... That's only slightly concerning." she said. "Especially since we could hear him and Jo having a... what would you call that?"

"It wasn't really an argument, but it wasn't really not..." Cole shrugged. "I do know I'm glad I wasn't a part of it. Sounded too stressful."

"It really did." Clary smiled and nodded to Logan. "It's just because we work opposing shifts. One of these days I will be up when you get home and have breakfast made, just because. That and sleeping is a very difficult thing, even now, since I didn't have to for so long. Why is being tired even a thing?"

Cole couldn't help but smile at Clary. This was one of her favorite recurring things, her complaining about being tired. It was always amusing because Clary could sleep longer and harder than most people she knew if she was comfortable enough, but she also knew that soon it wouldn't be that way because she would be hearing souls for ferry soon. Maddox had mentioned a few months ago that she was getting to wear she could ferry some human souls soon.

"Oh! Lunch would be fun. I know Willow and Sal mentioned something about a picnic in the park, you could totally come with us. It would be fun." Clary smiled a little. Cole nodded.

"Yeah, and after last night, I don't want them going by themselves really. It'd be broad daylight, and probably a non issue, but I know how Sal gets after his visions." she said.

Clary smiled and Logan kissed her cheek. "If you and Billie get to go on that date, let us know how it is. I remembered seeing all the pictures Randa took for the opening advertisements for it. It looks like it'll be a great place." she said. She yawned a little and finished up her breakfast before she started doing the dishes and Cole turned on the TV, only to have some kind of background noise as she started cleaning up the living room. She caught the tail end of a breaking news report and she blinked.

"Oh that's not good." she said, and she saw Clary looking in.

"Uh oh..." Clary frowned. "Billie is wanted?"

"Those hunters know people it looks like." Cole said. She and Clary looked at each other.

"When Logan gets out of the shower, should we tell him?" Clary asked, and Cole sighed.

"I'm sure Billie will. I have a funny feeling she already knows." Cole said.

--

Randa could only shake her head and chuckle when Garret took the picture. "I hate when you do that sometimes." she said, and when he cuddled up to her, she got comfortable relatively quick. "That sounds nice." She didn't even realize that she had fallen asleep. It wasn't until she forced herself awake from the start of a nightmare that she did. She saw Garret wasn't in bed, and she could smell food cooking. She rubbed her face with her hand and she took up her phone. She knew she wouldn't likely get an answer right away, but she texted Daylen just to check in on him. She didn't do it often, but she was surprised when she got a text back quickly, and she let him know that she loved him and would check in again soon.

She got up and pulled her robe around her, and when she got into the living room she caught the tail end of the news report before groaning. "Humans are so stupid." she muttered. She saw Garret on the phone, and she looked back and rolled her eyes. "The one time we don't go with the mall, shit happens and it really happens."

Randa made herself a cup of coffee and once Garret hung up, she walked over and kissed him. "Breakfast smells great babe." she said. She went to set her phone down when she saw a text from Billie. She read it and chuckled to herself. "For the love of fucking Lucifer man, I'm almost glad it was Billie they targeted. As fucked up as it is, this is going to be so entertaining." She took a sip of her coffee and tied her hair back from her face. "So, I'm going to shower after I eat, anything in particular you wanna do since we're already up?"

--

Billie was glad when Alex seemed to calm down about the whole situation, but the next thing that happened annoyed her severely. When she answered the phone, "What's up?" she heard Garret's voice. She raised a brow and turned on the channel and she shook her head. "You have got to be shitting me." she said. She rolled her eyes and clicked her tongue to her teeth. "Well this is only slightly annoying."

"What is?" Alex asked and when he saw the tv screen he shook his head. "What the fuck."

"Thanks for letting me know, Garret. I'm going to head over and tell Logan before Alex and I head out to do a few things." she said before she hung up. She shook her head and looked to Alex. "I'm going to go change real quick. Looks like I've got a fun day in store."

"What do you mean?" he asked.

"The sooner I take care of this bullshit, the easier things will be." she said. She went upstairs and freshened up a bit before coming down in pair of jeans and t-shirt. She saw Alex looking at her as she texted Randa about possibly needing some help taking care of this.

"How exactly do you plan to take care of this?" Alex asked as they grabbed their things and headed towards Logan and Clary's house.

"I'm going to go turn myself in, clear my name, and be done with it. Once the publicity dies out, it'll be smooth sailing. Plus, more breaking news will come out once I've been 'apprehended.'" she said, and Alex gave her a look.

"You and I both know this is a thing set up by the hunters, B, why are you going to play into their hand?" he asked.

"Intel, Alex." She said, and she got up to the door of Logan and Clary's house before she knocked. "Besides, the longer we sit here and let that circulate, the harder things will get anyway."

Clary opened the door and she hugged Billie almost immediately. "Hey! Logan should be getting dressed now. I didn't hear the shower when I came down from getting dressed."

"Thanks, Clar." Billie said, and she saw Cole motion for her to sit down. "It's going to be a day, that's for sure."

Atty wasn't sure at the answer the cat version of Kat was giving him until she knocked the fork out of his hand and basically demanded more pets from that hand. "Okay, I got it." he said with a chuckle. He saw Lia come back in the kitchen not long after and place a plate of food in Mitch's spot before Mitch himself entered the kitchen. He was kind of glad to see he wasn't the only one that was feeling the tension across the room, though he could tell Kat was at least a little bit more pleased to be getting the amount of pets she was. He sighed a bit, and when he heard Mal mention Eve going out on her own. The only good thing was that everyone here was very capable of defending themselves on their own, but after last night... It wasn't a good idea.

Aless looked up to Mitch when he spoke to her. She sighed. "Huh? Oh, I'm alright." she said. "Just got to rework Roland's compounds again it seems. Has uh... has anyone seen him this morning?" she asked.

Lia looked to Aless. "He's outside working on that thing again." she said, motioning her head out the window. "I noticed him out there when I went to go start on laundry." she said. She pushed some food in front of Aless and made a face and Aless started eating. Lia finally took her own seat beside Mitch and started picking at her own breakfast she turned on the radio.

"Today's forecast is partly cloudly with clouds clearing up by the afternoon. High of 75 for today, so it should definitely be a pretty day today." the person said, and Lia smiled.

"Good." she said. "Will make working in the garden easier."

Atty nodded. "I could imagine."

Once they started talking about the explosion at the mall, Lia turned off the radio and rolled her eyes. "I forget how stupid humans are. They will believe anything."

Roland came in a few minutes later, and he looked at Lia. "You're wanted." he said, and Lia raised a brow. "They just described you and that Billie girl from last night to a T over the radio."

Lia groaned and rolled her eyes. "Good luck finding me, not like I go out much, and if I have to Kat can always have some fun with my hair. Problem solved."

"You are awfully nonchalant about this." Atty said, and Lia shrugged.

"Not the first time I've been 'wanted,' and probably won't be the last." she said, taking a bit of her food. She got up and petted Kat's ears again. "Besides, Kat always enjoys getting to play with colors and hair, so it's a win-win if I ever do want to go out."

Roland shook his head and waved a hand. "Sit down and eat." Lia said, and when Roland went to go leave, he saw the look on her face. He sighed and made himself a plate before sitting down to eat.

Aless looked up at him and sighed. "Later we're trying new compounds. I've got to look up what I need for this new one so I can get it together, okay?" she said, and he nodded.

"Alright." he said.

--

Rhi and Kyp were at the compound surprisingly early. Wes and Serg were likely in the gym, training, but Kyp and Rhi were busy going through the information Chester gave her last night and going over a lot of the stuff from the night before. Rhi was glad that they were in Kyp's sanctum though, it was quieter than almost everywhere else and they could monitor so much. She had seen the Breaking News report come across the screen on the bottom right of Kyp's wall. It wasn't the best excuse, but it was plausible at least.

A knock came to the door and Kyp looked up from the file. "It's open!" he asked, putting a lollipop back in his mouth as he went back to the file. He and Rhi both looked to see Eli coming in. "Oh good."

"We just saw the Breaking News thing come across." Rhi said, motioning the screen it went across. "That's the channel that does the radio broadcasting too, so it should even get people commuting too."

Kyp nodded. "It's hard to sift through the impartial security footage that I need to right now. I have the files cleaning up, but they use such an old system it's taking forever. I do have something else though."

He turned to his computer and began typing a few things. "So, apparently this wedding thing that Chester brought to us is a legit thing, and it has potential to be a large event. According to what I have gathered, it's a few weeks away, from what the venues on here have listed in accordance to our files, but more digging is necessary, but getting teams prepared now would be a good idea. The only thing that is worrisome is that we don't have much on the groom and..."

Rhi shook her head. "The bride is probably the most reclusive of all of our targets, even though her picture is on the news right now." she said. "Meaning, it looks like it wasn't a bad idea that you got Axel in on this."

Kyp chuckled. "Good ol' BB Ass. Always becomes inopportunely useful." he said. "I'll keep digging on it though, but it's necessary to put the best foot forward on it."

"I also got a call this morning from the holding site. We may need to take a few of them out of there for being too rough. Switch them out for hunters who are known to not be. One of the captives they had trouble getting up last night, so they won't be able to be questioned for a while. I told them to go ahead and send the interrogator our way." she said. "They said they had tried calling you, but I almost doubt they did."

Tiff smiled when Sal said he wouldn't tell and asked what color she was going to use. "Mostly different shades of blues and black. It's going to be hard to get the exact color of blue I need so Zach is gonna try to get as close as he can." She answered cheerfully. What Sal said made her feel better and she smiled at him. This is one of the reasons she loved Sal so much. He always knew how to make people feel better. "Thanks Sal." She said before reaching over and playing with his hair a bit. She added her dishes to the ones Will put in the sink for later before heading into the living room and grabbing her sketchbook.

Will looked to Sal when he spoke after Tiffany left and went into the living room. "Um….I think." She answered before going through the pantry looking for the stash she kept of Sal's medicine. As quietly as possible. "Do you want it mixed in something or straight?" She asked as she finally found it. Giving it to him however he answered. "I also have some of those weeds you like to smoke, since Jo isn't here it won't bug her." She offered.

After being sure that he had everything he needed she sat back across the table from him and sighed a bit relaxing herself. "So, it's gonna be a few hours before we meet up with the girls. Is there anything you want to do?"

--

"Sounds good to me." Jo answered with a nod before they headed off to the gym. She couldn't help but vent to him a little bit as they walked. While she knew that he kind of tried to keep out of it as much as possible. Drake really was easy to talk to, she knew that he got whatever thought process Alex had his mind set in. However, he knew enough about Fae just from dating her sister that he almost could pass as one at this point. He understood her. She smiled up at him when he called her a badass. "I hope so, I'd like to think I'm bad in the ass. Thanks Drake."

She kind of chuckled at his joke to kick Alex's ass. "No, that wouldn't work. He would let me win over fighting me." She said with a head shake, before looking up at Drake as he went from zero to deep. Also one hundred percent right. She needed to show him that she didn't need to be coddled, she knew he did it because he loved her. She was afraid it would lead to losing him because she couldn't handle it at some point. "Actually…..that isn't a bad idea. I mean the fact there would be other people there is kind of scary. But maybe if Alex saw I could handle myself he would stop freaking out about everything. I think I will sign up."

Once they got to the gym she waited for Drake to unlock it, kind of surprised it was locked. Tiff had said before it was 24hours. She nodded a little bit as Drake seemed to read her mind and explained why it was closed. "Oh okay, I've never been here before, so I'm not sure what equipment they get. But that's nice." She said with a small smile before sitting where he motioned for her too and waiting. He was gone for a good little bit and after a few minutes curiosity got the better of her and she looked around a bit. First at the plants by the doors, which were fake, and such a shame because fake plants were stupid. She knew better than to go behind any counters.

When Drake came back to her, Jo was looking at a few of the machines. Namely the Leg Curl machine, she looked at when he said he was ready to go. "Oh okay…...hey um, Drake. What is this machine for?" She asked before giggling when he answered. "Oh..it looks like one of those sex machines Randa jokes about." She said, giggling a bit again before following him out of the gym.

The walk to the record store she asked about the other machines at the gym. Glad to have something to focus on other than her and Alex for a bit. At least she knew a lot about the record store, she really liked the owner of this one. After Alex had taken her here a few times, she started making this a stop when on this side of town. The owner was a half breed fae, which Alex hadn't known before bringing her here.

It was really modern looking to attract customers, but you could see some of the touch of personalization of someone born in the 70s and trying to keep the vibe alive still. In a lot of ways the owner reminded her of Cole. A bell jiggled as they opened the door to the low lit small store and the head of a tiny blonde woman with braided hair peeked over the counter at the noise. "Oh hi!" She greeted Drake, seeing him first. "Did you come for more posters? We just got some new ones on track last night." She asked before seeing Jo peek around him and wave. The owner did a quick peek around to make sure that they were the only ones in the store before greeting Jo in fae.

"Hey Frankie, you're looking well." Jo answered brightly before going up to the counter. "Did you happen to get any of the records from Alex's list yet?" She asked sweetly.

Frankie smiled a bit. "I think I do in the back." She answered, gesturing for Jo to follow her, and they left Drake in the front of the store. "You had me worried you left Alex for muscles." She said before looking through her boxes.

"Oh Drake?" Jo laughed a little. "No, he is dating my older sister." She said, seeing a slight look of disappointment at the news. When Frankie found what she had gotten in, they went back up to the front and Jo checked out. If Drake brought any posters, Frankie half prized them since he knew Jo. And once they left the store Jo smiled up at Drake. "So….Frankie has a huge crush on you."

--

Logan shook his head a bit when they described the fight that Alex and Jo had last night. "It sounds bad but I'm glad that I missed the argument. I still remember the last one at school. Pretty sure Jo could beat Alex's ass if she wanted." He said with a small chuckle.

Logan nodded a bit smiling when Clary said she was going to make him breakfast just cause. Before chuckling as she went into a rant about having to sleep again. "Because it's part of being alive sis. One of the worst parts." He answered this was one of his favorite new rants of hers. Even he had to sleep still, granted only two hours were really needed but he kind of loved to sleep. The girls invited him to go to have a picnic in the park with Sal and Will and he smiled. "Yeah that sounds like fun." He said before nodding at Cole saying that they didn't want them to go on their own. "Right. Plus it's important to keep our eyes on eachother. Better safe than sorry right now. What time are we going?" He said before getting up to take a shower.

Kissing Clary's cheek on his way out before she said he would have to tell them how the restaurant was. "Of course, I'll bring you girls something so you can try the food." He answered before giving Cole a head pat and going to take a shower. Turning his music up and water on scolding. He probably took a bit longer of a shower than he needed but he was enjoying it. It wasn't long after he went to get dressed that he smelt Billie, he glanced at his clock a bit surprised that she wasn't at the gym.

Grabbing a towel he headed out of the room drying his hair. He heard talking from the living room and headed in. "Why is it going to be a day?" He asked before seeing the worried look on Clary's face and he looked back at Billie. "What's up?"

--

Garret smiled a bit when Randa got up and came into the living room, he was still on the phone though. "A little more than slightly, how the fuck did they even get your name?" He answered Billie over the phone. This was enough to piss him off. This was just a consequence, this was targeted. "Want me to call and pull strings?" He asked. He would find out what newscaster was paid off, for this going on without being questioned. Before making a face and nodding at what Randa said about it being because they didn't go too.

"You're welcome." He said before hunting up the phone. He gave Randa a kiss back and smiled a bit. "I've been taking classes." He said proudly. Before shaking his head at what she said. "Logan is going to be pissed that they made her wanted." He said before making his own plate and sitting with her. He shook his head a bit. "I didn't really have anything planned to do. I know they have that park you were doing before and after pictures of, was finished and opened yesterday. If you want to go there and take pictures." He suggested with a smile. "I mostly want to spend the day with you since it's been a week since our days off matched up. Was there anything you wanted to do?"

--

Eli sighed and nodded a bit when they said they saw the news. "I know it's not the best excuse, but if anyone looked it up they would see it has delayed four malls being built this year alone. It looks like they just missed the signs when they brought in new equipment last week." He explained before nodding a bit at her saying they did radio broadcasting too, offering them both a coffee. "Yeah, I co-founded the channel for one of Tara's friends." He said with a small smile, not trying to be braggy, as much as proud it was doing so well.

He frowned at the news that Kyp was having trouble getting the videos cleaned up because of the old system. Well fuck, that was annoying. At least the wedding info was legit, though if it was as big of an event it seemed, it could also be a suicide mission. "That would make sense, Axel has said that he has noticed a few guys around her and her daughter since she came back on the radar." He said before chuckling at the thing Kyp called him. "Alright Kyp could you get us a list of the possible venues? If this isn't a vampire wedding there isn't a safe way to send a group in without it being noticed. So maybe we could send a couple hunters in to try to register for the week. They could send you the venues that have something booked that week, would that make your search easier?"

When Rhi said that they had an issue with one of their captives not being able to get up, he was a little pissed. This wasn't a new issue but Taylor had told him it seemed like it was getting bad again. "Seriously, this is the reason they got babysitting duty." He said with a sigh before checking his phone to see they hadn't tried to call him. "No they didn't. Want to take a trip with me in a bit to see the damage?" He asked. He planned to go over whether she went or not either way.

"Oh Kyp if you have the time, do you think you can do a background check on a hunter named Camilla Lusion?" Eli asked before looking at Rhi. "She is from Oliver's area. She called this weekend and asked to join us. I guess the group she leads is headed this way, tracking a group of witches." He explained. Honestly they seemed to get more hunters interested in joining everyday, and though the explosion looked kind of bad. The names added to the database of the ones they had caught and killed said a lot for his and Rhi's plan, it wasn't as wasteful as the others claimed it was.

There was a small knock on the door and once Kyp told whoever it was to enter a skinny blonde woman opened the door the best she could with an arm full of files. Nodding a bit at Eli when he helped her get the door. "The older files from the South just came in." She said, sitting the three boxes of files down before looking at Rhi. "Also there is some woman named Ashley in the main lobby asking for you, Rhi."

--

Click...click...click. The tall blonde's heels clicked loudly on the hard concrete floor as she ignored the mindless drones that looked at her as she passed them. Damn things always freaked her out, she wished that Sybil would just kill them. Even if she said they were useful, they were a waste of breath when they had a damn brain. Violent sighed a bit trying not to focus on it or how shitty her night had been, as she got close to the room one of the drones said Sybil was in. "What are you doing here Vi?" She stopped rolling her eyes so hard Adria could probably see them in the back of her head for a moment. They hated each other but she had to remember to show respect though.

Violet turned and offered a sweet smile that wasn't really returned with anything. "Adria, darling, it's so good to see you again. I'm glad to see you are back. Missed you before you left."

"Yeah I know." Adria answered back. "That's part of an urgent call, Vi." She added as she finally caught up to her. "Should you be here this quickly, after last night?"

Violet nodded a bit and started walking again. "I was told to report to Sybil if anything interesting happened." She said with a head shake. "Don't worry no one noticed anything weird about me leaving." She added when Adria gave her an annoyed look.

"It better be good, she's in a meeting and going to be pissed if it's not. Wait here." She said before giving the door a sharp knock and heading inside.

Sal couldn't help but to smile when he felt Tiff play with his hair a little. He was glad to feel how happy she was about this, and he couldn't wait until Drake saw what she was up to. He knew his reaction would be great. When his head started pulsating though, he had to ask for the medicine. He couldn't handle it well this time around, and when Willow asked how he wanted it, he said straight and took it once it was given to him. Generally he would have mixed it with something, but he needed the relief more immediately than usual.

"This should be enough, but thank you." he said to Willow when she told him he could use the weed that Cole gave him too. He didn't like smoking here, but knew with Jo not around it wasn't as big of a deal. He also didn't want to use it if it wasn't absolutely necessary. The medicine generally did the trick, so he hoped it would once it kicked in. He could feel the pulsating start to go away when Willow spoke again and he thought for a moment.

"Not particularly, is there anything you wanted to do? Might be a little bit before its safe for me to try and stand though, my head isn't pulsating, but I know if I try to stand up right now I'll probably fall over." he said with a small smile.

--

Drake smiled a bit to see Jo's spirits were lifting a little and he made a face when she said that Alex would likely just let her win instead of fighting her. That was a fair point. He couldn't help but to chuckle at her reaction to him telling her she was a badass though. It was one of the things he loved most about Tiff and her sisters, was how they reacted to certain phrases and slang. It was always kind of cute and often times comical. He was glad that she took to the idea of signing up for the self-defense classes though. "It's partner based, and if there is ever a class Alex himself can't make it to, I can always step in for him. But I'm glad you will. The classes tend to be really fun from what I've seen. Billie keeps them lighthearted unless she has to be serious. Plus, she uses them to help her boxers see other techniques."

Drake nodded when Jo said she hadn't been in the gym before and he chuckled. "More weight machines. We finally got enough money to update some of them. Plus Billie bought new punching bags and stuff for the boxers, so those are coming in too." he said. He grabbed what he needed to and when Jo asked him about the leg curling machine, he explained it to her and then laughed. "Honestly, it's probably not far off."

The walk to the record store was nice. He was doing his best to explain the equipment, and he had texted both Joe and Billie the names on their sign up list and he also let Billie know that Jo was thinking about signing up for the self defense class. He didn't get answers, but once they were in the record store, he smiled. He always liked the vibe of this place. It was always so easygoing and nice. He waved to the girl who greeted them. "Morning." he said. When she mentioned they got new posters, he walked over and started browsing through them. He let Jo handle what she needed to, and Drake saw a few posters he liked. They always had a good choice for different art styles, and he was sure Tiff would like one of them he picked out too.

Once they checked out and started heading off, he looked down to Jo when she told him that Frankie had a crush on him and he shook his head a little. "Really? I don't get why." he chuckled a bit. The liquor store was luckily not far off from where they were, and when they popped in, Drake quickly set down his things when he noticed one of the employees nearly drop a box. "Hey, don't be lifting more than you can."

"Thanks." the smaller guy said. "I wouldn't have, but the guy who was supposed to be here doing this hasn't shown up yet, and I can't get ahold of him. I messaged Billie and she said she was going to be by in a bit to check the orders and take the deposits, but I wanted to get what I could done before she got here."

Drake sighed a bit. "Here. I'll move these boxes for you so its easier to stock, mind helping Jo."

The guy smiled at Jo and waved. "Oh, hi! You were here the day I got hired." he said to her, and he walked over to her. "What do you need?"

--

Cole smiled when Logan answered Clary, but soon he asked when they were supposed to be going out on their picnic. "We're heading that way at about eleven. Willow wanted to walk around a little before we set up for the picnic. She got to see all the pictures Randa was taking of what they did and got so excited to see it in person." she said. He soon headed up for a shower, and soon things just became a little bit more concerning. Clary went up and got dressed after they saw the breaking news, and Cole went up not long after she came down, and she got in to see Billie and Alex there. Alex seemed less than thrilled, and Clary looked worried. Cole couldn't blame her though. They name dropped Billie and put her up as wanted, but she could tell by the more annoyed than anything look on Billie's face, she already had a plan. Logan came down not long after and his question made them all look to him.

"Those hunters know people. Billie's wanted." Alex answered, and Billie rolled her eyes.

"Which is so annoying. Garret called and let me know he saw it on this breaking news thing. When I tuned into it, it's me and that Lia girl from last night." She clicked her tongue to her teeth. "I did take Garret up on his offer to pull some strings, and Randa is going to help me too if I need it because I plan on settling this today."

"How?" Clary asked.

"She plans on turning herself into the police." Alex mumbled, taking a seat and watching as Clary and Cole both sat down.

"But, sis, if this is the hunters behind this, which from the report it is, isn't that a bad idea?" Cole asked. Billie sighed.

"The longer it circulates, the harder it will get though. Plus, it gives us a unique opportunity to find out something on these hunters. If there is something I am good at, it's gathering intel. As much of a trap as this seems like, they won't be expecting one of us to turn ourselves in, and like I said, if I need it, Randa knows people that can help out." Billie answered.

"Still dangerous, and you might think you're fully healed but you're not." Alex said.

"You also can't tell me shit, Alex." Billie said, eyes blackening. "If there is one thing I'm good at, it's gaining an upper hand. Angel and I have already decided that this is probably the best thing for us as a whole. Gets the heat off of us for a bit, and it gives us some idea as to what hunters we are dealing with. Plus you act as though I don't already have a plan."

Clary frowned a little, but she noticed Alex seemed to just concede to it. She saw Billie turn to Logan, her eyes returning to normal. "However, if you don't want me to, I won't. Might take a little longer, but I'm sure Randa knows people that could make this entire thing go away. Just have to watch my step for a while, which is already difficult as it is."

Her phone rang and she looked at it, and picked it up. "Yes?" she asked.

"You have got to be shitting me, coach. Are they really trying to pin you for looting?" It was one of the boxers.

"Its a misunderstanding. I'm getting it taken care of." she said.

"Was gonna say, I'll go throttle someone for you." they said, and she scoffed a laugh before they hung up.

Billie looked at Logan. She could see it on his face. He was pissed, but she also knew with Clary right there he wasn't trying to totally lose his shit about everything. She walked over and rubbed his shoulder a bit. "We'll get it taken care of."

Cole sighed a little and rubbed Clary's shoulder when she leaned against her. "Just be careful, Billie, please." Clary said.

Alex spoke again. "Won't be doing anything for a bit, she's got stuff to take care of, and she's helping me do a few things too."

"Yeah, one of the guys at the store was a no call, no show, so I have to look and see if I can find out why, and then I've got to help Derek finish putting up the order that came in last night and make sure the order going to the bar is correct. Then I need to take the deposit." she said.

--

Randa waited for Garret to get off the phone to say anything. She couldn't deny that this who thing had her own blood boiling, but she also knew that if it were anyone else it could be worse. Billie was one of their most strategic minds and she likely already had a plan or two in mind to get it to go away. The fact that she had already texted her made her believe it more, and after sending another quick text to the lawyer she knew, she looked to Garret. "She's having you pull strings too isn't she?" she asked. She smiled when he said he'd been taking lessons. "Well, I want to know from who now. I kinda want to sit in on them." she laughed.

She sighed when he said Logan would be pissed. "I know. I'm pissed off myself, but it also goes to show how misinformed these people are. And desperate. Targeting Billie might have seemed smart, but with her background, she's already got to be three, very annoyed, steps ahead of them somehow." she said. She smiled at what he suggested they do for the day. "That sounds wonderful actually. I didn't get to do the pictures for the final touches they did, so it will be nice to get some more of the park. I do have to drop that package for Day at the post office. I called him when I woke up and he gave me a good shipping address so I could send it to him." She said. She ate her breakfast before getting up and placing her dishes in the sink. "I'll wash dishes after I get out of the shower." She gave him another quick kiss before she felt her phone go off.

She inwardly cursed at the lawyer saying they weren't in town. But the next message made her nod. "Oh, and I may have to stop by Sarah's office to pick up some paperwork." She headed into the bathroom for a shower.

When offered coffee, Kyp shook his head and motioned to his energy drink sitting on the table. "Thanks, but I've got mine there." he said, and Rhi also declined. "And seriously don't give her anymore, she's had three cups already."

"I don't understand how you do this all day! It makes my eyes heavy." she said, and she smiled when Eli said he helped found the broadcasting channel. "That's really cool." She nodded at Eli. "I wish we could find out more on them though. It's a little unnerving that there is so little on them."

Kyp turned and nodded to Eli. "Actually that would help a lot. Give me one second." he typed a few more things into his computer and soon he heard the stuff printing. He got up and took the pages off the printer and handed them to Eli after taking one page out. "This one is the largest venue, so I might send an extra person or two with because of sheer size, and the owners aren't exactly the best with English, so make sure whoever you send can at least understand Spanish, or have enough patience to talk to someone who speaks broken English."

"Of course they didn't." Rhi groaned. "But they will be here soon, so it can be sorted. I don't get how difficult it is to do their job. This is the third time in what, two weeks?"

Kyp sighed, "It is. I still need to see the footage for that, but with this other stuff still cleaning up, it will be a bit." he nodded to Eli. "I'll have it ran within the next hour, and I'll let you know."

Rhi nodded a bit. "Well, it's nice to know that people are wanting to join us. I wonder if Lucien might know the name with as much traveling he's done lately." she said before shooting him a text. The woman that came in with the files told her that someone named Ashely was in the lobby for her and she smiled. "She's early." She got up, and she saw Kyp laugh a little. "Shut up, I'll give you your $20 when I come back."

Rhi headed down towards the main lobby to go get Ashely, and when she left, Kyp turned to Eli. "There is one other thing about this information Rhi got last night. One of the targets from last night, the South Council member... They were on the guest list we have for this wedding, and it's making me wonder what they were already doing here if the wedding isn't for weeks still, especially with barely any of the others on the list being here from so far South. Serg called someone in the North to see if they were staying there, since those covens seem to be working together more lately. He said he'll let us know, but it feels out of place that such a high ranking South Council member would even be here without protection."

Sybil was starting to get annoyed at the interruptions to this particular meeting. The third one today, and two of them hadn't even been on her account. She got up and opened the door. When she saw it was Adira, she quickly composed herself and turned to the others for a moment and excused herself. She left the room and shook her head, gently pinching the bridge of her nose. "These people are useless." she said. "What is it? I am so ready for this meeting to be over that a small break is kind of welcomed."

Willow was glad that the medicine seemed to help him feel better. She hated so much to see him in such pain. "You're welcome." She said softly, before kissing his temple. She asked him if there was anything that he would want to do today before their lunch in the park with Clary and Cole. The fact that he said that his headache was starting to ease up. "Well maybe once you can move again, can we maybe listen to that auto book you have some more?" She suggested.

Jo really loved the idea of joining Billie's class, not that she didn't know how to fight. Hell she was raised learning how to battle, that was something that fae kids started learning at six. However, the whole thing sounded really fun, plus the idea to show Alex she could handle herself made it a winning win. Drake said he could join her in the classes Alex couldn't make and she smiled at him. "I'm surprised that Tiff hasn't joined this class with you." She said, knowing Tiff was always at the gym for the hoop things she liked. A class where you got to fight sounded right up her alley.

The gym was definitely interesting, the machines definitely were interesting and intimidating. Other than the one that looked like the sex machine Randa had talked about before. On the way to the record store Drake explained the other machines and some of the other things about the gym. It was kind of nice that he was so passionate about it. Of course the record store was always a fun place to visit and she enjoyed getting to see her friend Frankie. Even if the fact she had a crush on Drake was a little awkward. She definitely gave Drake a good discount on the posters even if he didn't seem to notice. When she pointed out the fact that Frankie had a crush on him, she whacked him in the arm at the reaction it got, stopping. "Don't say that. You are a very handsome man, Drake. Of course a lot of people have a crush on you." She said, frowning at him. "I mean, you're not my type and are more like a brother now. But still! Very handsome."

It was probably a good thing that they got to the liquor store when they did, because the guy working looked like he was about to start dropping things. Though the news of the missing employee wasn't lost on her and she frowned a little. Without everything that happened yesterday, she couldn't help but wonder or worry. Maybe the reason he didn't show up was because he had died or something at the mall. She smiled, waving back at the guy when he spoke to her. "Hi. Oh I was?" She asked, not really remembering the guy, but also not wanting to be rude enough to say it. "My head forgets to attach itself sometimes." She said laughing slightly. "I need to pick up some rum for my brother. Um, I know he sometimes drinks Caribbean." She answered what he asked what she was looking for.

The guy was really nice helping her find the rum that Alex liked and she made a mental note to brag to Billie about how good her experience with him was. Something that her job had recently taught her that humans did, and that you had to be named Karen to get to do the opposite. Which seemed confusing but still. While she was waiting for Drake to finish, she looked over the small case of random fancy drinking accessories. Once Drake was done Jo waved to the store clerk as they left. "It was nice seeing you again. If you see Alex, I wasn't here okay." The trip home seemed a little longer than the one there, maybe it wasn't just because she was in her own head. After a few minutes of quiet she looked up at Drake.

"Do you think the person that didn't show up is alright?" She asked, hoping that his answer would make her feel a little less of the weird vibe she felt right now. "Maybe he just got called off to a family emergency and didn't have time to call?" She said frowning. She wasn't even sure, maybe the guy was a human, which meant he was totally safe.

Once they got back to their neighborhood Jo couldn't help but feel a little bit safer. Maybe she didn't realize just how much last night had freaked her out. Even if Alex didn't let her be part of the fighting. It was a little too close for comfort, not to mention that everytime she thought about it she thought of the crying place. She couldn't stop the cold chills the thought brought out. But at least here, she knew everything here, no surprises…..even if hunters had wondered in before. These were her tribe and she was safe here. Drake let her into their house, before saying he was going to check on Sal. "Okay, heads up Tiff had to help Zach with stuff so she probably won't be home." She let him know before going in. The house was so quiet, and she checked the rooms in the house to confirm that no one was home. She sighed a little. Part of her was glad she had time to set up, part of her was sad that Alex wasn't home. He was off today she was sure because they had plans before everything happened.

She checked her phone for the first time that day. No missed calls or text messages, she sighed sadly. Hey, heads up. Drake let me in your house. Since no one is home, I didn't want you to freak out. :) She shot Billie a quick text. If she was home she wouldn't freak out about the noise downstairs, or if she came home to someone clearly been there. She frowned at her phone sending a text to Alex. We seriously need to talk. Message me when you get home. I'll come over. Putting the phone back in her pocket she grabbed a few glasses and went up to his room to get stuff set up.

Logan blinked a bit in surprise at the answer he got from Alex. "Wait, what?" He frowned, seriously those hunters were starting to piss him off. Where the fuck did they get the audacity to think they could put Billie on the wanted list? At least Garret was going to pull some strings, that somehow made it a little better. But even still, the audacity of those fucking want to me more humans. Honestly, he was trying really hard not to show just how pissed he was as they started talking about Billie's plan to turn herself in, but he couldn't help his eyes reddening a little. This whole fucking thing was ridiculous.

He stood kind of quietly leaning on the door frame as they all talked. Honestly, Logan really wanted to agree with Alex here. She wasn't healed all the way, however, they couldn't just let this sit. It needed to be handled. Even humans that were close to you, they could happily turn you in if the human law said so. And Billie dealt with a lot of people. When she turned and said she wouldn't do it if he didn't want her to, he sighed. "I want to tell you not to do it. But humans and their laws, it's only so long until someone turns you in. Then if someone else was with you, they would be in danger too." He said, pinching the bridge of his nose roughly.

"Maybe you're right and meeting on your own terms will be the safest for you. I know some people at the police station, they aren't higher ups but they can at least hopefully stop you from being surprised while in there." He offered. Even if that wasn't a logical worry, it still was better to have that type of safety net. Why did it make it both a little and worse that Billie wasn't too worried about this?

When she came over and started rubbing his shudder Logan sighed finally able to get the red in his eyes to go away. He softly put his forehead against hers. "I know, don't keep me from wanting to rip out the throat of whoever made you wanted." He said, his voice much softer so that only Billie could hear him.

Logan kind of nodded when Alex said that they still had stuff to do. "Still be careful being out in public. You don't want the cops storming your liquor store or gym." He said.

Garret nodded a bit when Randa asked if Billie was having him pull strings. He might not have had as much as Randa, but he still had some. "Yeah, I have a few contacts at the police department. So if something happens and the police get hold of her, she'll have people looking out for her at least." He answered. The fact that she smiled when he said he was taking cooking lessons, made him happy. Mostly because he was half taking the classes to learn to cook for her. "I'm learning from Dahl, I'm sure that she wouldn't mind." Garret said with a smile.

When Randa said she is pissed off about it too. "Honestly, I'm not pissed about it. I just think it proves how stupid the hunters are. Clearly they don't know who they are starting shit with." He said with a small shrug. He smiled when she liked his idea and nodded a bit when she had to drop off stuff at the post office for Day. "How is he doing?" He asked, though he wasn't close enough to bother trying to reach out to Day the two of them were still friends. He gave her a kiss back and took his plate to the kitchen. "Okay sounds good to me. We have plenty of time."

He picked up the clothes from last night, so that he could do the laundry after her shower while she did the dishes. Before sitting on the couch and watching a little bit of the tv. The next thing he knew the sound of the dishes woke him up and he rubbed his eyes and sat up. "Shit I didn't even mean to dooze back off." He said, before sighing and getting up and going into the kitchen. "By the way, I'm making you dinner tomorrow."

Eli chuckled a bit at the reaction that offering coffee caused between the two of them. "How have you had three cups already?" He said. Though he totally had to agree that the computer screens would fucking kill his eyes. Between the screens and energy drinks, he didn't have migraines all the time. He smiled a little at Rhi. "Thanks, I'm proud of how well they are doing."

Eli nodded at her notion of wishing that they knew more about whose wedding it was. "How did he even know about the wedding and not know who it was for?" He asked because honestly, how did his intell not get a hold of the most important part of it. Eli nodded, taking the papers that Kyp handed him, before nodding again as Kyp said that the last venue needed an extra person or two as long as someone that speaks Spanish. "Alright sounds good, I'll send Emma, she speaks Spanish pretty well."

Then Rhi brought up the fact that the idiots at the holding cells had been too rough. Of course then lying to her about having got a hold of him too. How fucking hard was it to not kill people who couldn't really fight you back anymore? He sighed a little bit. "At least. I don't know if we aren't switching the right people out or what. I'm about to let Tara just shoot them in the leg or something." Kyp said that he was going to look through the footage of the holding cells. Maybe that was a good thing to be honest, because clearly something was going on there that they were missing. "Awesome, thank you." He said before smiling and nodding to Rhi. "It is, not going to lie, I didn't think that we would have this much of a turn out. Not to the point of people contacting us."

Eli laughed a little at the reaction to Ashley getting here early. "Tell her, I said hi." He said before she took off. He looked at Kyp when he brought the South Council member up. He had a good point, the council members were always a huge deal and protected. It was almost impossible to actually get to them. "That's a good point. Do you think they maybe whoever killed them had something with the bombs? Use the bombing to cover their tracks?"

The redhead looked around the little lobby that she had been told to wait in. Which she guessed made sense. Couldn't just have random people looking around. But still, like she was surprised no one seemed to be expecting her. The little room was pretty comfy though at least. Clicking her tongue a little bit, Ashley took an actual seat awkwardly waiting for either Eli or Rhi to get their ass down here. Her green eyes saw the cameras and made a face sticking her tongue out knowing there was likely a chance Kyp was looking at the cameras before the door opened.

Her eyes lit up as she saw Rhi come and she stood up and hugged her. "Hey Rhi, it's been so long!" How have you been? You totally have to update me and stuff." Ashley said happily, after all Rhi was one of her best friends. "So do I actually get to go inside now?" She asked before laughing.

Adira couldn't help the small smile as Sybil opened the door, even with the annoyed look on her face when she did. She had been off for the last week doing the errands she had been sent on. Sybil was a sight for her sore eyes. She wanted to ask which idiots Sybil was having to entertain but knew better and chuckled softly at her words. "While I have my own things to report." She sorted of side eyed Violet. "She was looking for you too. Already." She said not bothering to hide the dislike in her own voice.

Violet frowned a touch before smiling as Sybil gave her her attention. Bowing her head a little bit in a show of respect. "Good morning Sybil. While I know I was just sent out yesterday, I didn't know how I could get a hold of you secretly without causing more suspicion then just leaving." She explained herself quickly, glancing at Adria slightly as she finished. "I might not have to infiltrate one of the groups you wanted me to. After the bombs went off, I guess the school group and the Ophelia's group met up and started talking about getting together."

Adrian's eyes widened a bit. "Are you fucking kidding me? Why didn't you step in?"

"I'm supposed to be part of one of the group already. How am I supposed to step in without people thinking I'm not who I'm acting like I am Adira?"

Adira frowned glaring at Violet, this was one of the fucking reasons she was useless among the hundreds of probably others.

Violet looked back at Sybil half expected to get yelled at by her too. "I'm still hidden as one of the group as you told me too. I'm working on a way into the hunters as well to find you new hunters."
