Grave Trench was feeling his inexperience, not just the brief snagging sensation of a knife catching his side, though his armor mitigated the actual damage. The powerful kick would have hurt a lot more if he hadn't landed on something slick. He slid when the blow slammed into him.

So this was PvP. Sudden death battles that are decided in an instant. This was what most people in Gun Burst Online logged in for. It was no wonder that he was feeling the pain already. He had been holding back, approaching this like it was a dungeon crawl. There was no time for long range planning and excessive precision. He needed to cut loose if he was going to have even a slight chance of being an asset to his team.

The slide had given him distance, but not much. He was facing a close combat specialist in close quarters while other enemies could be closing in to support. He thanked his paranoia as he rolled to his feet and lunged into a sprint, dashing suddenly in a straight line along one of the assembly lines.

He wasn't against monsters this time. He knew that the players who saw this move would assume that he was trying to gain distance to use his rifle again. He knew that they were right. He was gaining distance. But, that isn't all he was doing.

This was far enough. He faked a stumble, falling into a roll as he dropped two small items that rolled into the shadows. He wasn't sure if this would work here but he was pretty sure that his opponent just might underestimate him, given how this fight had been going so far. The two objects were dud grenades, a cheap drop from many dungeons that popped like small fireworks with sparkles in several colors. They also looked identical to normal frag grenades. They wouldn't kill his opponent. But, a little fireworks show could add just the right kind of chaos to a situation that was already full of the wrong kind and a distraction at the right moment could prove critical.

He also switched weapons... twice if everything went okay. The first switch was timed with the moment that the duds would go off and would involve letting his rifle drop to hang from its sling as he spun around and drew his backup piece. Two of the hand cannon's 14mm rounds would tear through the air toward the first target he could line up, hopefully SHOUSUKE. If he confirmed a target then the moment the second shot left the barrel, he would use the other part of his quick draw skill to return the weapon to its holster with extreme speed and whip his P-bolter off his back.

If his enemy was more than 100 ft. away and alive then he would bring the weapon into line with the load bearing supports for the robotic arms that lined the assembly line beside him. The bolts would easily tear through the supports of the assembly line and bring it crashing down in his enemy's path. A swift and agile person would not be likely to be pinned or injured by such an attack but it would probably force them to evade, slowing their advance and allowing him a better chance to follow up with well aimed bursts of potent plasma, hopefully doing enough damage to bring this fight to a favorable end before Grave Trench could be out flanked by other enemies.

He knew, above all, after marking his location so vividly with a high power weapon, he would be on the top of many people's target lists. Whether or not this method succeeded in bringing down his attacker, he would burst into a dash to put as much space between him and this location as possible before the proverbial fan threw more fecal pudding in his general direction. He had some slim hope that he would be spotted by friendlies before foes.

“You’re not allowed to criticize me! Only people who make quality content on par to my level can criticize me-eeeep!” Gudako’s attempt to back talk ICEY was interrupted by a sudden mini-nuke going off just above her head. Were she not knowing it was none other than Roche who had caused the explosion, she might have yelled at them for cutting off her words- “Damnit Roach, you cut off my raring speech to the newbie!” Or not. In any case, it would at least give the opening Team Logan Paul was hoping for, a snarky grin curling on their leader’s lips.

“You’re all screwed now, ahahaahah!” Gudako said, springing from her position like a baited rabbit, firing at the scattered team with bursts of hot lead. If Roche’s cue to attack as one hadn’t yet reached the other teammates, then Gudako’s spree of reviled oblivion would be the calling card to their reign of destruction. And just like that, the enemy team of try hards were flocking like headless chickens, Gudako’s laughter only increasing in velocity. “That’s right you better run! I’ve got thirty thousand subs each with a signature from me baby, ahahahaha!”

Bang, bang, bang went the flaming muzzles of her pistols, Gudako now standing atop the rubble that had once served as her cover. With a spree of exhilaration running in her veins, she completely missed the warning ICEY gave her about the elusive fourth enemy player. She did, however, hear and feel the deep rumble and clank that came with their gear. When the heavy-fire of the minigun screeched into the air, Gudako was already gone from its targeting spot.

Well, gone may have been an overestimate because she was still there. Just above the stream of hailing bullets; spinning horizontally in midair before Gudako’s body twirled off to the side as she landed on solid ground with her feet. “Hey, hey, you can’t do that! Don’t you know that I don’t like having my streams interrupted? Do you even know who you’re talking to, metal brain, hey, hey!” It took a special kind of programming to make the pixels on Gudako’s face form into the sneer she was giving, already leaping high in the sky.

A lighter Avatar and less heavy-duty weaponry meant jumping above this brawned boser would not be a problem. Spinning in the air until she was positioned headfirst right above the enemy player, Gudako twirled both pistols and began pulling their triggers at unholy speeds. All the while, her Avatar spun in place as she descended, intent to spread the noise of her laughter to all corners of the area. “Ahahahahah, this is amazing! You’re gonna be killed on my livestream!” she said. Really, who was the player they should be fearing again…

Say what you will of Gudako's sanity. Or basic decency. Or Human Empathy. Or Capacity for reason. Or a great many things Roche suppressed lest she questioned the benefits of her friendship too closely.

What was undeniable in all things was that Ryuko had a flair for showing off and, amazingly, not flubbing the landing either. A truly marvelous feat of acrobatics and style to record, from fancy aerial twirls to the lightning fast gunplay the orangette adored. There was only the teeniest, tiniest problem that had Roche pulling a fragmentation grenade from her belt yanking out the pin.

That being, while a heavily armored juggernaut was a slow easy target, it could afford to do so because it was heavily armored. Seeing as she would receive no end of complaints if she simply bypassed all of that and roasted the beleagured mini-gunner, Roche opted to whip a grenade with a seasoned familiarity, bouncing it right between the brute's legs where it lost all momentum bouncing between firmly planted boots.

Fire would have made it certainty, but at least with an explosion Gudako could save some face before her viewers.

Clementine cussed to herself as she stayed under a whithering barrage of fire from the opponent's bigger GPMG. She was sure their sharpshooter was busy trying to flank her for a killing-blow under such intense suppressive fire, but there was little she could do about that without exposing herself, at least not directly.

So, trying her best to remain calm, she took stock of the situation. Kiss-Shot was being suppressed the same as herself, and probably wouldn't be able to lob any more rockets for quite some time. The situation also just happened to give her the time to realize Trench had been overrun, and was likely being overwhelmed by a superior opponent in CQB...

Clem could think of one impolite word to summarize their situation --while also wishing such a situation upon her adversaries-- as she let go of her machine-guns and brought up her M-79s, popped their breeches open, and loaded some old CS gas grenades she'd bought for a riot-control themed event awhile back. She took careful aim and fired one off to assist Trench, hoping it'd give the old man enough of an edge... that or at least cripple the bogey in the likely event he still lost.. giving Kiss enough time to deal with the situation more appropriately.

The second grenade, had to be bounced off a wall, back to where the bulk of fire was coming from... except the noise of smoke deploying was overshadowed by the thud of a muffled explosion.

Bewildered, she switched back to one of her RPDs cautiously checked from around her cover. All she could make-out was the yellow irritating smoke-cloud laying thick to her front, already rising into the catwalks and wafting around corners with the breeze. At the very least, it would serve as a means of denying anyone from passing through without difficulty... at least without a gas-mask... but seriously... who remembers to buy a gas mask in this game?
