[A p p e a r a n c e] Standing at 5'10", Bel has a mocha complexion complimenting her amber eyes and long scarlet hair. While voluptuous and curvy, her physique is lean and toned. Of course the most odd aspect of her appearance is the maid outfit she wears. Why does she wear it? She likes it~
[B a c k g r o u n d] From about four years old, Bel was raised by wolves. Crazy, right? As far back as she can remember she was left alone in a remote island forest. It's unknown whether her parents abandoned her there, were killed by the wildlife or if it was some other reason. Nevertheless, she would have died if one of wolf packs hadn't taken her in. And she grew up as a wolf cub for next 8 years, even finding a devil fruit, unbeknownst to her, and eating it.
One day, a ship landed on the island. It wasn't a large vessel but the crew was well armed and ended up killing the wolves, all the while one man demanded and cried for them to stop. Bel had been away from the pack, teaching the youngest of the wolves how hunt and had returned at the end of the slaughter. At the sight, she flew into a rage and attacked the crew members, her devil fruit powers out of control. They were caught off guard by the wild child that seemingly came out of nowhere. Despite her nimbleness and feral assault, she really couldn't do much to them. And her devil fruit powers weren't strong enough at the time to do more than inflict shallow cuts on the men. Nearly drowned out by Bel's furious screams and the crews shouts to grab her and put her down, there was still the one man calling for them all to stop. Finally, one the crew members managed to peel her off him and throw her to ground pretty hard, knocking the wind out of her. He pointed his gun at her and fired. However, the shot did not hit her but rather the shoulder of the elder man that had thrown himself in front of her. The man was an archaeologist who had hired the crew to take him out to sea for research. He had demanded they not kill anything without proper cause as he wanted to study any new species he came across. Unfortunately, they were to paranoid and trigger happy or he was too naive. Either way, it was Bel's misfortune. And so, he decided to take her and wolf cub she had been out with home with him.
The elder man's name was Solomon Cleargarden. He was a wealthy widower and his own kids had all grown up and left home. He decided to name the wild girl Bel Cleargarden and treat her as his own. She was quite defiant and feral from the start. It a whole year for him to gain her trust. He taught her to speak, read, and write. Told her countless stories about his youth as an archaeologist and tales of the sea. About his regrets that he had become too old to go out again, that he was never brave enough to venture to the Grand Line. As Bel became more and more civilized, she got along well with Solomon's maids and even started emulating them, including their attire.
Bel spent 7 years with Solomon and came to see him as her own father. However, he was old and passed away. His estate went to his biological children who offered to let her stay but she had other plans. Solomon's stories over the years had awakened a fascination with the sea in her. She only ever known the forest she was abandoned in and the home Solomon gave her. She wanted to repay him somehow but also go and venture out. Solomon had kept a journal of his adventures from his youth and had always kept a section of it blank with the chapter titled "The Grand Line". So, she decided that she'd fill the pages for him. Bel also decided one other thing. Her own goal and desire. Solomon's journal was his personal treasure and when she fills its pages it will be hers too. So, she'll place it among the greatest treasure the world has ever known, the One Piece.
[A b i l i t i e s] Rose Rose Fruit - Upon consuming the Rose Rose Fruit, Bel was imbued with the ability to summon razor sharp rose petals and thorny vines to attack and defend with.
Acute Senses - Growing up in the wilderness among animals, Bel has developed a heightened sense of smell, hearing, and general awareness of danger.
Hand-to-Hand - Bel is quite strong and can hold her own in close quarters. She's mostly self taught so her fighting style is rough, though elegant, so a more proper trained opponent may have an edge on her. However, she's a quick learner and knows how to adapt.
[W e a p o n s] n/a (will pick up one along the journey)
[T e c h n i q u e s] Rose Petal Dance - Bel uses swirling perimeter of razor sharp rose petals to attack her enemies within a few meters radius of her. She also often uses this as an opening surprise attack, using the petals to disguise her approach, making it seem like she appeared out of nowhere.
Rose Rose Whip - Bel creates a long vine covered in thorns and uses it to attack. She can summon two, one in each hand.
Rose Rose Cannon - A long ranged blast of rose petals that will shred anything in it's path.
Rose Rose Beast - Bel summons forth a giant wolf made of roses and vines to chase down and attack enemies.
Joseph stands about 6'0" With blond hair, unshaven with a slightly strong physique built from his past experience as a young man working with metal, hammer, and forge. His skin is lightly tanned, and his brown eyes sometimes resemble a pair of dull embers. He sometimes wears a casual attire with a black shirt and brown pants, usually with a simple jacket if he is unarmored; But will more often sport full plated iron armor over top the attire; part of his equipment that had been past down over the years.
Joseph is a simple man. He likes nice views, a good laugh, and some ale. He won't talk much, but if he's feeling lonely he may start up a conversation. On the surface he is easy-going, but when it comes to matters of loyalty and trust he is much more stern. To Joseph, what keeps a crew together is loyalty. A kind of bond that can't be bought with money, something that is earned with trust and an open mind. In essence, like a family.
Joseph was raised on a small island named Windale. His father, and his father before him, were humble blacksmiths, but even longer down his family line were actually once soldiers to a kingdom now dissolved under the world government. When Joseph came of age he too was trained in the art. By the time his father had died of illness, Joseph was already 23, and took over the little family shop, as well as the equipment of his family line. Of course business was little his way. The remote island made little help of his business for his mediocre wares, and the locals had little interest in such wares. That was until a group of pirates aspiring to make it to the grand line needed some new supplies for their crew. Hesitant at first, Joseph supplied his inventory to the crew. It wasn't long for word of mouth to spread, and soon the dock had frequent visits from small time pirates needing cheap equipment. Initially the remote island-town was well out of the way of marine eyes. However with his popularity among these rookie criminals, he began to fear being arrested as a supplier to criminals. So, eventually Joseph took the opportunity to join one of these new crews that were ambitious of expanding out past the grand line. The only condition on joining this particular crew, dubbed the early gulls, was to eat a strange fruit they found. It wasn't uncommon in those parts where devil fruits were considered a superstition, due to its rarity; and this pirate crew were particularly cautious and uncertain of what the strange fruit was. Reluctantly eating it, Joseph had by coincidence obtained a mythic-zoan fruit, one of the rarest variety aside from Logias. At the time his knowledge of those new powers were limited, but he soon applied his 'fire hands' to shape metal.
It was at the crew's first real struggle with marine forces did Joseph discover the dangers of his devil fruit. Surrounded by marines, Joseph used his abilities to transform into his full-beast form, a first time experience for him as prior he was reluctant to expand or practice his abilities further. This proved to be a poor decision, because Joseph quickly lost control of his abilities and went on a rampage. It was here that the surviving marines later dubbed the criminal as the 'Calamity Knight', due to watching the knight-like armored pirate transforming into a fire breathing beast.
The resulting disaster lead the surviving crew members to be disbanded, most having been killed by the chaos, and the survivors (pirates and marines alike), were abandoned and separated on pieces of driftwood. Finding refuge on an uninhabited island about a half-mile from the wreck, Joseph took his time in solitude to reflect on the disaster he created. With nothing else to do, he also took the time to practice his abilities as there was no one else on the island to danger. Even with practice he found his abilities difficult to maintain, but learned how to control his more stable half-beast form. For a whole year Joseph remained on that island. When he found a passenger ship sailing around the island, Joseph flew on board without drawing any initial attention, later claiming to be a stow-a-way after the ship's captain agreed to let him off at the next port.
Far away from home, Joseph was left a free spirit looking for a new crew to follow. Seeking to redeem himself of his past calamity.
Dragon Fruit The Dragon Fruit is a mythic-zoan type devil fruit, capable of great firey power and might.
The form stands at 14 feet in height, and weighing a bit over a ton. The form overall resembles a large reptilian monster with a bipedal gate. In this state he can move deceptively fast, in a full charge he can even run up to 40 mph. His great strength is accompanied by a powerful maw and tail, with a sharply pointed tip at the end of it's tail. His claws are still capable of wielding weapons at this state.
At roughly 65 feet long, Joseph's full form is adorned with black heavy plated scales. An array of horns are crested along its head, above a saurian maw of sharp teeth. Sharp spines run down it's back, and the sharp tip on its tail is much more pronounced and blade-like then his semi-beast form.
Dragon Fire The flames of a dragon are hot enough to melt iron and steel. Joseph can create and manipulate intense heat and flames to a limited extent off of his body. In his base form, This power is limited to only being able to burn off of his hands, and can't be utilized outside of melee range. In his full form he can breath this fire out of his mouth. All forms however have an indefinite heat resistance due to this affinity with fire.
Sky Tyrant In his full beast form, Joseph can fly swiftly and at great distance.
Monstrous Rage While utilizing either transformation, Joseph becomes subjected to a more feral instinct. Even in his half-beast form, subjected to intense pain, fear, or stress can trigger a feral berserk-like state. However while he becomes more violent and dangerous in this state, even to allies, due to its nature it will quickly exhaust him once the adrenaline dies down.
Weaponsmith From his previous career and making use of his powers Joseph can 'hand-craft' metal weapons by smelting metal with his own powers and molding them like clay. Granted this technique limits him to simple designs, he can quickly repair, create, or replace weapons. Though he is no expert swordsman, he understands well enough how to use a sword or any other simple melee weapon with ease and some skill. His skills shine instead with his traditional Lance and Shield.
Iron Strength His built combined with the influence of his devil fruit give him unnatural strength even at his base state, he can lift and strike above his weight class, this is most noticeable in his half-beast form, where he was able to lift a mast of a ship several times his size and rip it off of a ship.
Aside from his armor, the equipment his ancestor sported was a grand ornamented lance accompanied by a large black shield of iron. Both weapons requiring great strength to wield effectively. He took the spare time he had as a youthful blacksmith to train with these armaments, as was something expected of him by his family. However he is a bit protective of these gears, and thus will often equip his own crafted weapons be it an axe or sword if he feels it is too risky to equip them. He has less experience with such weapons, but they are cheap and replaceable.
Dragon Breath In his beast form Joseph unleashed a cone-shaped ray of flames from his maw, with a range that can reach up to 15 meters.
Tyrant Spit Cannon Alternative to his default breath weapon, Both of Joseph's forms can generate a quick projectile of a fireball that is twice as explosive as an average cannonball.
Dragon Gun Fire A half-beast form variation of Tyrant Spit cannon; Joseph shoots a smaller fireball that has the same power as a cannonball.
Hellshaper Used by his beast form, Joseph strikes the earth with a burning claw to spread a chaotic shockwave of fire underneath and around him, tearing the surrounding ground into a crater amidst the intense heat and pressure.
Infernal Weapon Joseph can extend the heat manipulated off of his hands into his weapons, though has to make sure its not too hot to melt or soften it. Limited to his human form.
Barrage of Spears Joseph executes a flurry of jabs with his lance in a quick succession.
Champion's Charge Taking a moment to aim, Joseph launched himself forward with great speed and deadly precision; Lance drawn in front of him to impale a target.
Strike the Earth Joseph slams his shield in a downward arc with great power and force.
Infernal Scarring Joseph grabs a foe with an unarmed hand to burn them with a tight grip.
Get out a' here Joseph swings his lance like a blunt object to smack away a foe with great force.
Musashi is always looking for a fight especially against a strong swordsman. She tends to be a mostly calm person, often joking around and teasing others due to having quite a fun loving personality. She also embraces the image of wanted criminal and often disrespect the law. However, under all that she possesses a strong determination to see her goals through and a strong hate for injustice.
Musashi was born into Mariejois as Aria. At first she was the classic example of a World Noble being selfish and vain, until the age of 8 were her father got her a slave, a former cabin girl of the Red Blades Pirates who was about 2 years older than her. Of course the two immediately got off on the wrong foot, but after a year got to know each other. The Girl taught her about the life outside and the vast seas and her dreams of becoming the great pirate and living free as the wind. This girl was the first friend she had and she decided to do her first selfless act for the girl. When her father decided to go to Sabaody she convinced him to take her and her friend with her and once her father was properly distracted, she snuck off with her friend and set her free, she never saw her friend again, but she heard stories of a fearsome female pirate captain a seveal years after this event. Of course after she was gone the other members of her family scolded her for wasting what to them was a tool. This was the first time she realized that the world she was living in wasn't as bright as she once thought, after that to her the life she was living in was just a velvet lined prison. She wanted to be free she wanted to see that life, so she came up with a plan. An year had passed and she managed to grab the master key to the slave collar and freed the slaves hoping to travel with one of them in a pirate crew, however, contrary to the naive girl's beliefs the pirates weren't as nice as her friend has been and used her as a hostage and took her prisoner. They managed to steal a ship, but someone had snuck aboard their ship before they stole it. This man was Miyamoto D. Musashi, who was hiding in the cargo hold where Aria was being kept. They spent most of the time talking with each other, Aria explaining where she came from and Musashi explaining that he had came from Wano, to become the world's greatest swordsman. They continued for hours as to Aria, his company was the only thing keeping her from crying out in fear, however, voices began scream out from the upper deck, both of them not knowing why until the entire top deck was torn apart by one of the biggest sea kings in recorded history which drawfed the small trading ship that they were on. Aria grabbed a dagger that fell from the snake like sea king, no doubt from one of the pirates that the Goliath had eaten up and tried to defend herself, but what was a dagger going to do against a beast such as that, the beast lunged at her she closed her eyes waiting for what's to come, but it never did. When she opened her eyes the beast was split into two right down the middle with Musashi drawn his blade. While this was impressive this also caused the beast's dead to fall on the ship causing it to sink and both of them to become shipwrecked and washed up shore on some island she didn't know the name of. After that they started traveling together, with Musashi teaching her swordsmanship. They traveled for 3 years this is when she truly saw what the World Government was like, but what cemented her hate for the world government, was also end with the death of Musashi. It all started with a corrupt marine who challenged him to a battle of swordsmen, however, he had one of his subordinates take her hostage and when the duel was about to start he revealed to her master that he had taken Aria hostage. This shocked her master who turned his back on the Marine and threw a blade at the subordinate allowing her to escape, however, this left an opening to the marine's blade striking across the back and killing her master. She returned to find that they haven't given her master the courtesy to bury his body, just taking his swords from him. She and the villagers from the nearby town managed to bury her master. There she spent several hours carving a wooden from an oar using the dagger she has kept from the time that they had met, which she left the wooden as the grave marker, there she promised him that she'd take on his name, as she didn't like her own, due to what she had seen, recover her master’s sword, and then become greatest swordsman in the world.
Expert Swordsman: She is a swordsman who mostly specializes in the two sword style. Though it’s not a specific style in particular, due to the death of her master, she was only able to learn the basics of the sword. It’s a style that’s a mash up of what she learned on her own and observed from others, making a odd hybrid style.
Hand to Hand: She knows how to fight without weapons mostly gained through years of traveling, though it isn’t her main speciality and tends be more of a desperation tactic than anything.
Free Running: Unfortunate part of being a wanted criminal is that you tend to have to run away a lot, so at least Musashi learned to run with style.
Pickpocketing: Another unfortunate skill she learned during her time as a wanted criminal, quite useful for taking the keys off stupid guards.
Two Katanas: A pair of rank-less blades she bought from a shop. Nothing really that special. Has a black handle, a disk guard, and a back sheath.
Dagger: A single dagger with a knuckle guard. Mostly a back up weapon or a tool.
Wooden Training Sword: A Wooden sword made by Musashi. Good for training or smacking the unworthy.
I’ll be filling it out as they are shown.
Desert Storm: She starts off low to the ground before spinning and rising upwards while slashing sending several foes flying.
Trade Winds: Meant to deal with a group of enemies, she slashes person to person and uses the momentum from her swing to flow between them.
Vortex Strike: She slash in an crop pattern leaving two gashes on the surface on a target before stabbing though the middle.
Iaido: Eagle Strike: She puts her blade back in her sheath before drawing it and slashing down the foe.
Iaido: Eagle Flight: An offshoot of Eagle Strike, but focused more on taking out groups of enemies then one target.
Alias None as of yet. One will probably come with greater notoriety.
Age 19
Species half-human, half great white shark fishman
Position First mate - Zarya is a jack-of-all-trades of all sorts and can offer a helping hand in any kind of crew activity or take a spot until someone better suited for the job comes along.. But she isn’t good enough at anything to really take up the occupation. However, she is a proficient hunter of fish, even along a moving ship. As such, she is a useful food supplier. (however, since she usually just eats her fish raw, she isn’t a particularly good cook.)
Appearance Like other half-fishmen, most of her fishman features are retractable. Her regular form, as such, betrays very little of her fishman heritage.
She is a relatively tall, pale woman at roughly six feet. She enjoys a clearly athletic and fit physique that still only speaks very little of her true physical strength, slender yet toned with long legs. Her long hair is a silvery grey that reaches about halfway down her back.
Her clothing usually consist out of a simple shirt and jacket and trousers. Her clothing comes in various colours and prints. She does not consider herself quite ladylike enough to wear dresses and such. Notable is, however, that all her clothes has a large cut in their back. She never wears gloves, and shoes of any kind only very rarely. She also carries two large scrolls around with her until she has a place to store them.
The manifestation of her fishman features truly makes her terrifying. Her eyes grow sharper and predatory. Her teeth become shark-like, and gain great biting prowess. Her hands and feet grow webbing and a large dorsal fin grows on her back. Her skin in this form is eerily white.
Background Zarya the half-shark was the result of two martial artists meeting on the grand line. One marine and one a pirate. Her mother a master of the four winds fist and her father a black belt in fishman karate. The two fought to an inevitable draw and separated as rivals. However, their fates crossed each other innumerable times afterwards and feelings started to bloom. They settled outside of the grand line in a small kingdom in the east blue, here they set up a dojo to teach others their arts to the next generation.
Zarya grew up with a passion for martial arts, inherited from both her parents. Inspired by tales of both pirates and marines (though her mother would often berate her father for telling her about piracy), she trained to be able to one day set out to sea. Being offered training in both her parents’ styles, she didn’t pick one but both. Her parents were sceptical of how she was going to learn two arts at once while keeping up with strength training, but luckily she was a quick learner.
Zarya's father was a unique thing in the small kingdom, which counted him as the only fishman inhabitant. Though he overcame everyone's initial prejudices by displaying none of his own. In fact, the fishman had a deep respect for humans that went against a lot of the tales one told about the fishmen that roamed outside of the peaceful island on the ocean's bottom. That said, he wisely hid the past of his pirating ways from them.
In a similar vein, her mother never truly revealed her past to anyone else. She had all but defected from the marines and left to marry a pirate. A treasonous act to be sure, especially for someone who had held a vice-admiral position so proudly.
Her parents often told her of the many other martial arts practiced in this world. Her father told her of a place inhabited by strange lady-men practicing a martial art heavily focussed around kicks. Her mother told her of an intelligence unit that had mastered six powerful techniques. And she dreamt of learning them all. Her parents played it off as their child’s childish dreams, and left it at that. But Zarya’s intentions were genuine. She wanted to develop her own martial art, one encompassing all fighting styles of the world. In fact, that was what she was already trying to do with her parents’ own styles.
A feat that necessitated becoming a superb martial artist she was sure, and so she trained harder than any disciple in the dojo until she matched adults.
In her sixteenth year her father set out again for sea. He had received word of Neptune himself. One of his former disciples of long ago, a fishman going by the name of Killer Whale, had committed great crimes against fishman island and was loose somewhere in the world. Her father felt it his responsibility to help the fishmen hunt for him.
That was three years ago. No word was received. Neither of his victory nor his loss or demise.
Zarya was now an accomplished martial artist, and very much felt she needed to see the world. To grow stronger through experience instead of only training (though she would still need to do a lot of that). And so she set out. Hoping maybe she would also find her lost father in the process.
Zarya’s three months of travel already met with some resistance however. In a bar she crossed two wanted pirates who she promptly got into a fight with over a petty argument. Perhaps this would’ve been a heroic feat if her victory hadn’t levelled half the town and the local marine base in the process. As the pirates she took out were 5 and 7 million beri, she was attributed a bounty just a little higher than that.
Abilities

Jeanette is a confident girl who values her honor & pride. She is blunt & honest, often saying things in a straightforward or even vulgar manner. She is rash and is known to attack Marines at the slightest provocation. She's the kind of girl who shifts the blame to others, but she's a nice person to talk with.
Just like the usual person of East Blue, she doesn't know about Devil Fruits, all she knew about her abilities was that she can explode instinctively.
Background
Jeanette was born from a wealthy family of Shell Town, living a comfortable life when she was about 6. Her parents have obtained a Devil Fruit through connections, and have fed the young Jeanette at a dinner. Unfortunately for her, the Devil Fruit that she'd eaten was a dangerous one, and she had accidentally killed her entire family the moment her explosive abilities activated.
Left alone and abandoned, Jeanette lived the rest of her life in the back alley, rising up as a leader of a street gang due to her abilities and power. Not many dares to approach her turf without caution due to her "unexplained" exploding spears. One day, the Marines have taken her more seriously and eliminated her gang. Being the sole survivor, Jeanette turned to the high seas, starting afresh as a pirate with a rowboat.
She had gotten into a skirmish with another Pirate Crew, caused when she ignited the winery over a barfight. The fight with those pirates have burned down most of the village, mostly razed down by 'stray exploding spears'. The Frozen Saint incident have earned her a small bounty.
Abilities
Bomu Bomu no mi (Bomb Bomb Fruit) - A Paramecia Devil Fruit that gives explosive properties to any part of her body, whether it be hair, mucus, or breath. She's naturally immune to explosions.
Weapons
Javelin - Janet is good in throwing javelins with dead accuracy from a far range, she could also use it as a melee weapon to hold her own at short-range combat.
Techniques
Exploding Javelin - Jeanette's Javelins which are strung with her hair can explode upon impact
Spear Barrage - Jeanette throws a rain of explosive spears down her enemies.
Crimson Lotus Spear - Once thrown, the back of the handle explodes, to send it at a longer range. The strands of hair are tied on double knotting.
Flashbang - A 'harmless' explosion of bright lights and screeching sounds. Often used to distract enemies.
Burst Steps - Jeanette ignites an explosion at the foot of her heels, to propel herself at mid-air.
Cannons - Jeanette can fire ship cannons at longer range and firepower due to her abilities, without needing the gunpowder.
Appearance: Eadgar stands at a height of five feet ten inches and has a slightly tanned complexion. His eyes are a dark grey and his hair is somewhere between white and silver. Eadgar is very lean with a surprising amount of strength for his size. Typically the swordsman wears baggy clothing and refuses to ever wear shoes. The one thing he always has on him other than his sword is his mother's scarf.
Personality: Very aggressive and hot-headed are the first traits many will associate with Eadgar. He is able to be calm though and will often just find somewhere to sit and let his senses run wild. He is a man of honor and despises any form of dirty tricks in fighting. He has a deep desire to help people but knows through experience that not everyone can be saved. He is fiercely loyal and will give his life to protect anyone he holds dear in his heart.
Background: Eadgar was born to one of the most renowned families of bounty hunters the world has ever seen. Unfortunately, he didn't have the chance to know them as the family was destroyed from the inside when he was two. To their knowledge, only he and his father escaped the destruction of this once great family. Once he turned four his father began teaching him how to fight, among many other things, so that one day they may avenge their family name together.
For years the father and son duo struck fear into criminals. It's said that only a small few have escaped their blades, those few going on to be powerful within the criminal world. Despite how many criminals they have struck down the main target they have chosen for their revenge has eluded them.
Being bounty hunters is a rough world where one can easily stray down the wrong road. As such the remaining Grauwulf's have lived by a strict moral code. This has often gotten them in a pickle or two especially with the marines. One of their main codes is that if they don't witness the crime then they can't take down the criminal. Obviously with this policy many pirates have learned the way to avoid having the blades of the Grauwulf's pointed at them. The duo has even taken down the occasional Marine due to them witnessing a crime that the government would not acknowledge. Due to this the pair have each earned a bounty.
A few months back the pair got a clue as to the location of who killed their family and how they did it. The assailant, using a powerful logia type devil fruit, attacked the family. The father-son duo then agreed to have one of them go to spy on this individual. Eventually, word came back to Eadgar that his father had been caught and after a long and arduous battle he was slain, and the target fled to the Grand Line. Now Eadgar desires to hunt this person down and defeat them as well as learn why. He is also looking for a devil fruit so that he can level the playing field.
Skills: Expert Swordsmanship: Eadgar was trained by his father who is very skilled with a blade. Eadgar is very proficient in Ittoryu. He can fight with two swords but he prefers one.
Tracking: After having to hunt various criminals he has taught himself to track anything from an animal to human. Be it across land or sea. Due to this, he has become decent enough at navigating to be the Navigator.
Superhuman Pain Tolerance: Through years of training his body and mind he has gotten to the point where he can mostly block the feeling of pain from his mind. He does have his limits. It's more like he has found a way to force his adrenaline glands to pump adrenaline through him.
Extreme Strength, Speed, and Reflexes: Due to consistent training and fighting Eadgar has increased his bodies physical abilities to that of way above the average level. His best trait is his speed.
Weapons: Ankoku no ha: A weapon based down in his family that his father gave him before leaving on his mission.
Techniques:
Silver Fang Slash
Eadgar crouches to the ground and as fast as a fox darts around at the feet of his enemies slashing their legs. Typically used against large groups of weaklings.
Lightning Howl
Similar to Zoro's 36 Caliber Phoenix except much faster and more precise. With this technique, Eadgar holds his sword horizontal to his body and then rapidly thrusts in the direction of his target while rotating to send a shockwave of force in their direction. Can currently dent most metals. Not steel though.
Piercing Veil
In this technique, Eadgar moves as fast as he can. He darts past his opponent, or opponents, and cuts them 2-5 times before they even realize it. This attack is similar to what Brooke does except that they do instantly feel the cuts, but Eadgar performs the slashes so fast they feel as if they all occur at the same time.
Name: Hollyday Alias: The Firebird Age: 23 Position: Doctor (Assassin)
5'8", pale complexion, light brown hair, sea blue eyes, preference for baggy clothes (to hid all the knives), slim build.
Personality: Free spirited, polite, and somewhat eccentric with a Perpetual jovial grin are the staples of who Hollyday is. Calm with a slightly dark sense of humor the only things that Hollyday truely dislikes are Marines and Bounty Hunters. Hollyday's honor is only involved in being a Doctor, in almost any other situation Hollyday would not care and just do whatever needs to be done.
Don't get caught. That is Hollyday's mantra, prayer, and the main rule. Don't get caught. Hollyday, well probably not born with one, had a knife in hand since around birth. It is just a rule in the area if you are unarmed someone is going to try and take advantage of you, one way or another. Now this town didn't really have a name, no one bothered to give it one I guess, but most called it the City of Grime. It got the name from this smoke that floated in every night and just stuck to anything outside leaving this thick coat of grime on everything, you really did not want to be outside at night. The City of Grime was on Pawprint Isle the other, and 'main' city was Hoof Town. Well, the distance between them is not too far apart, getting into Hoof Town was almost imposable. The City of Grime was created with less than reputable people kicked out of Hoof Town, so no one from The City of Grime can leave. Pawprint Isle was a considerably large Island with four smaller Islands poking out from the water on one side that make the whole thing look like a paw print, giving it its name. In truth, there were more, even smaller, outcroppings surrounding the islands which would rip most boats apart. Except for this one spot, the one possible port, which is right were Hoof town is. Well, there are no real laws and plenty of actual criminals, not everyone is all that bad. Some try and make the best they can for the situation, such as Dr. Bartholomew Holiday, one of the only doctors in town and Hollyday's teacher. The old man tried to help as much as he could, but with the generally filthy conditions, people were prone to sickness. Hollyday lived with Dr. Holiday working sort of as an apprentice to the doctor. Wasn't the first as the old man had a habit of taking is strays. In that time Hollyday learned several things like what caused the Smoke, why the Marines did not care about it and what it did to the City, and That Dr. Holiday was not born in the City. Well, The City of Grime was made by criminals, there is never anyone that has an official bounty that lives there. So the day bounty hunters arrived was quite the strange one. Apparently, they made a deal with Hoof Town to trade part of a bounty to be let back out. It would be worth it as the guy they were after apparently 'stole' a certain Devil Fruit from a Marine Captain and may still have it on him. He did not. The bounty hunters severely over estimated his abilities, and killed him in a moment. They lost the Devil Fruit and The City of Grime lost one of its only Doctors. Do you remember how I said it is almost imposable to get in to Hoof Town? Well there are some ways such as paying off a guard, risk swimming around, and there is rumors of a hidden tunnel somewhere leading inside. Through, around, or under until Hollyday no one tried going over. When Hollyday gained the ability to get inside Hoof Town things started to go wrong. Food stuffs started depleting faster than anticipated, supplies would go missing or be found destroyed, and one night a Marine storage building caught fire and exploded destroying it and everything inside. Interestingly the smoke that polluted the City of Grime stopped that night as well. Hollyday has not been back there since then. Too busy running from, or too, something.
Medicine: Hollyday has an excellent understanding of anatomy, physiology, common diseases, and emergency medical procedures. Tori Tori No Mi, Model: Owl A Zoan Devil Fruit Allowing its user to transform into an Owl hybrid and a full Owl at will. Stealth: The process of blending in by either hiding out of sight, or in plain sight. Poison crafting/Poisoning: "Medicine is just very controlled poison" Improvised Weapon Fighting: With no promise of having a reliable weapon on hand, Hollyday had to learn to use everything. Sharpened pieces of metal, staffs, bottles, your weapon, some cloth, a sling and rocks, punching, Everything. Enhanced Dexterity: Fast, flexible and really good balance. Fundamental abilities, but more useful than one might expect.
Knives (40)- Small, kind of cheap, disposable, each is not that well made, but still rather good at stabbing things with. Chain - Hollyday found this 5' long discarded chain and now uses it as a flail weapon. Eggs- hollowed out eggs containing pepper, ashes, salt, dirt (finely grounded glass can also be used), and/or other materials. Gunpowder bombs- Explosive, smoke, flash bang. Gunpowder is Hollydays favored tool. Anesthetics
Eye closer: Creak An 'Egg' and fling what it holds into the face/faces of the target/targets. A variation if at a longer distance then don't break the 'Egg', throw it at the targets face so it breaks on contact. Pro; Increases distance Con: only one target, a chance they can avoid it. Smoke cover: Using a small bomb up close, or a larger one upwind, smoke is a useful tool to infiltrate, escape, or confuse. Shadow Step: typically used after Eye closer or Smoke cover, Hollyday starts sprinting as fast as possible, because the target cannot see clearly they souldn't be able to tell were Hollyday is, seemingly appearing and disappearing around them. Sometimes the target may preserve multiple Hollydays if they are thrown off guard enough. Metal Hailstorm: Hollyday takes a bag of nails, or other similar objects, and partly transforms, flies up high above the target and drops the nails in the general area they are in. As there is no way to aim this so it works best against large enemies or groups of enemies.
Name: Severus Symphony Spectacular the IIIrd Alias: Prince of Music Age: 15 Position: Musician Bounty: Alive Only 5,000,000 Beli __________________________________ Personality: Background: There are several generations of the Spectacular family. All of them being the most beloved of those who call themselves royals. There has never been a Spectacular who wasn't invited to perform in the hallowed halls of the rich and famous. All except for one particular boy. Severus Symphony Spectacular the 3rd. In truth, it begins before he was born. When Severus Symphony Spectacular the 2nd performed for a family known as the Vetromillas. The day he performed, was the day of the birthday of one of the eldest of the Vetromillas family. The only problem, the boy was unreasonable. He demanded songs from foreign islands that Severus the 2nd had never even heard, much less knew existed. In an outrage, he challenged the family, and was exiled. Left on a small raft in the ocean, he nearly starved, until finding a small island that he crawled upon, and was saved.
He married, and had a single child. That child became the father of Severus Symphony the 3rd. That young boy, hearing about how his grandfather once played in the great halls, yet by the time he was old, the 2nd could no longer play his music. But he could do one thing, and that was teach. He took his grandchild under his wing, and began to teach. But Severus' father saw this as a fool's trip. Instead, he took his son, and taught him the way of machines. How to construct sails for vessels, and cannons for ships. But instead, Severus became interested in the mechanics of something like a piano, rather than those of a ship. He continued to learn from his grandfather in secret, and in the day he would work on ships.
The years crept by, and finally, he completed what he considered a masterwork of craftsmanship! A device he called the Kapellmeister. The mechanizations of a piano inside a single staff. Each year, the town would host a musical contest, and that day, Severus went to preform. He was only eight when he stood upon that stage. And he wouldn't have traded it for anything. The melody he played was gorgeous, and a trained symphony that his grandfather had taught him. It was then when he finished that he was approached by a wealthy man. That man wished for the young boy to play at a celebration to welcome a visitor to their small island village, as they were there for important business.
That visitor was Kane Vetromillas. The son of the man who had banished Severus the 2nd. Unaware of this, the young boy presented his music before him, and the royal was amused. Until he finally asked for the name of the boy who had played for him. Hearing the name of the young child, he laughed, and dismissed him as a fraud. For none of the name Severus Symphony Spectacular could possibly be of the talent to play before royalty. Not after the embarassment of the boy's grandfather. In that moment, the eight year old child lost his temper.
He watched his island burn, as he drifted away from it on a mere piece of driftwood. Tears streaming down his cheeks as he drifted away towards certain death. But a roving band of pirates came upon him. He pleaded with them. No, he begged for them to save his family, but by then the fires had been burning for a week, and the boy was lucky to be alive. The pirates took him in as a servant boy, that they planned to sell into slavery. He was saved by a single skill. His musical talents. And how he could sweep a crowd off their feet. While pirates treated him well, he was never more than a slave to be passed between them and he traveled on several different ships. Always being lost in some kind of bet. Until finally he settled upon the Red dawn. at this point in the story, he is eleven.
After a time though, he found himself in a new position. The Red Dawn Pirates were planning to sell the musical genius, but this time to somebody far more than just another set of pirates. No, they planned to sell him to the Grand Dragons, since a discovery of Severus' heritage had put him in a unique position. Instead of that happening, he escaped, using Kapellmeister as a weapon. The music turned into powerful bursts of sonic energy, tearing apart his bonds, and he escaped, running away and vanishing. His bounty established as alive only by the whims of the Grand Dragons, who desired to have the musical boy as their slave. __________________________________ Abilities: Weapons: The main weapon of Severus, is the Kapellmeister. It has the functionality of a full grand piano, on a stick. As a weapon, it can operate as a fully functional spear, slicing through people as effectively as any weapon. Though the head is a great deal heavier than a traditional spear in that regard. Making it more an overly large Halberd. Techniques: 1st Symphony - Sonic Wail: A powerful strike from Kapellmeister's sonic arsenal. A powerful wailing blast of sonic force that can know people flat on their backs. It can leave victims dazed, confused, and probably rather sick as a result. 2nd Symphony - Sonic Assault: Much like wail, but a directed attack. It can be considered just like a bullet, instead of the shockwave that 1st symphony is capable of.
Name: Nero Lystre Alias: Demon Eye Age: 19 Position: Sniper/Assistant Doctor Bounty: WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE: 9 Mil. Berris Appearance:
Personality: Nero is a rough young man with a good heart. He is kind and caring, willing to stand up for the weak and innocent, and loyal to the ones that earned his trust, but this usually masked by a distant and calm persona. Despite this, he won't hesitate to get into a fight to defend the aforementioned people even if it's likely to end in his defeat, regardless of consequences. Although it's case to case, he generally goes by the rule of 'get what you give' and repay people's actions with equal intent; kindness with kindness, spite with spite.
In the rare occasion that he breaks his mask of calm, his anger is vicious and aggressive. He will set his sights on a target and won't stop until they are destroyed, with very few people being able to stop him trying. Only those he has a great respect for can calm him down, but he will retain his grudge until he can pay them back in full.
Background: Nero was born in an unremarkable coastal village on a small island in the East Blue, and that's where he was raised for most of high life. His mother, Arianna Dean, was a ex-Marine Lieutenant well-known for her skill with a firearm and his father, Kain Lystre, was a civilian doctor. The pair had fallen in love while Arianna was still serving, wounded after a anti-piracy sweep went wrong, and Kain had been the one to nurse her back to health. When she discovered she was pregnant with Nero, she resigned from the marines and the two settled down on the island. Growing up, Nero learned the skills of both his mother and father, as his mother would regularly take him out hunting for food or skins to sell and he would spend the rest of his time helping his father at his clinic or on call.
Despite being a natural with a gun, he was perfectly content to take over his Father's role in the future, but fate had other plans. When he was about 17, The Marines launched an attack on a pirate hotspot on the next island over. This meant that the survivors lucky enough to escape soon arrived at his village, and they're were granted asylum on the grounds that they didn't cause any trouble (Arianna and her guns saw to that) and made themselves useful to the village. Everything seemed to settle down after a few weeks, but then the Marines showed up to mop up the survivors. The villagers, having grown to trust the ex-pirates they had taken in, argued their case but were instead branded as co-conspirators and began to be arrested in bulk. Arianna, having been an ex-marine, got quite angry with the heavy-handed approach and started arguing with the Marines. This escalated until tensions boiled over and the marine panicked, firing his weapon and fatally wounding her. This was the first and only time Nero ever saw his father get truly enraged as he immediately took her gun and killed the man responsible, igniting an all-out battle between the Marines and the villagers. Somehow (in truth, a villager had done so to try and save him from the fighting), A blow struck the back of Nero's head and knocked him unconscious.
When he came too, the battle was over and the villagers had lost. The few that survived were being rounded up by the surviving Marines, but without the man-power to secure them, the Marines just executed them. Using his mother's rifle and hiding amongst the ruins of his village, he picked them off the survivors one by one and used his mother's pistol to finish the wounded ones, execution style. His revenge not yet satisfied, he took a small sailing boat and travelled from island to island, working as a bounty hunter to survive and occasionally taking attacks on Marine targets when the opportunity arose. Unfortunately, his face was seen and he was soon issued a bounty of his own.
With time, his desire for revenge calmed down and he stopped actively attacking the Marines, instead focussing on bounty hunting. This didn't stop the Marines from trying though, and with each failed arrest his bounty grew. He wasn't stupid though, and recognised that it would get more and more difficult to survive on his own. He needed allies, or maybe even comrades... Abilities: Marksmanship - Nero is a natural with a firearm, and he has honed his skills to an art-form. It's rumoured that He can pick up a gun and make it sing if he wanted, regularly pushing them to perform beyond what was capable.
Gun Kata - Using a very rudimentary understanding of basic martial arts combined with his own agility and skills in gunplay, he devised a system of short to mid range combat using a one-handed firearm, or pair of, to hold off against combatants at close range.
Medical techniques - while certainly no miracle worker, Nero has enough practical knowledge to treat most physical wounds and common ailments. Weapons: Ebon and Ravensdown - The weapons used by his mother, her pistol and rifle respectively. No special modifications, just plain muskets with custom black lacquer finish.
Conflict and Discord - Twinned custom-work pistols with a 6-shot cylinder and strengthened construction for use of specialised ammo
Demon's Eye - The heavily modified rifle for which he gained his moniker
Techniques:
Using special bullets that use special effects in lieu of physical rounds, can be used with any firearm but those not specially built to withstand them can be damaged just by firing them. Burning Shot: Ignis - A bullet of fire, igniting its target Freezing Shot: Glacio - A bullet of freezing liquid, encasing whatever it hits with ice and inflicting a frostbite effect Lightning Shot: Fulgur - A bullet of lightning, bypassing metallic armour and clothing to shock a target Concussive Shot: Sonus - A bullet of concussive sound, deafening and disorientating those nearby when it explodes Capture Shot: Laqueum - A rope-dart type of bullet that tangles up its target in steel wire
A special system of fighting at close to mid range By combining martial arts with Conflict and Discord. He can't remember where he heard it refered to as 'gunkata' for the first time, but he like the sound of it and coined the name. Gunkata: Steel Lotus Shower - A highly acrobatic move used when surrounded, he flips multiple time in the air while simultaneously firing in multiple directions to strike multiple targets. Gunkata: Reflex Shot - Firing a number of shots that richochet off one-another to bypass a target's defences, similar to feint attack in swordplay. Gunkata: Iron Thorn - a counter-attack move, he flips over an attacking enemy and fires into their exposed backs in mid-air. Also effective against closely grouped enemies
Personality: - Kukui is a good willed teen, polite and respectful to most people but at the same time not afraid to express his opinions Of others. Despite being mature for his age, he has a very childish side that he tries to hide.
Background: - Kukui was born on the island of Takala, a jungle like uninhabited island, where he lived alone with his parents. Said parents had (accidentally) fed him the Ki ki no mi fruit as a child and hid him on the island, knowing that there where people who would kill him without hesitation for the fruits powers. - Sadly after 10 years of successful hiding, a group of unknown men invaded the island land, destroyed his home and killed his parents. Luckily, Kukui had used the power of the Ki ki no mi fruit and merged with one of the trees of the forest and waited 7 days fused to it until the unknown group left. - Alone and enraged at his parents passing, Kukui dedicated the next 4 years of his life to training on the island while building a boat. The only clue he has to his parents assailant is the memory of the man who led the strangers to his parents, a pirate with white hair and a horizontal scar on his forehead.
Abilities: - Ki ki no mi Fruit: After eating the Ki ki no mi fruit Kukui gained the ability to turn into wood, as well as merge, and shape any wood he is ‘rooted’ to, which just requires physical contact. - Stealth: Kukui’s devil fruit powers allow him to transform into trees as well as merge his body with anything made of wood, like the wheel of a ship or the side of a house. He can even merge and hide into things smaller than himself, like a tree branch, although the smaller it is the more difficult is to fit. These abilities let him hide in plain sight easily. - Logia Type: As a Logia type regular attacks have difficulty hurting him, however unlike other logia types, wood isn't as fluid and can't phase attacks as easily. - Amateur Shipwright: Kukui understands the basics to ship building, and in conjunction with his devil fruit powers can build ships from his own body, albeit it takes a while depending on how big the ship is.
Weapons: None.
Techniques: - Fighting Style: Kukui relies heavily on his devil fruit powers, and prefers to use attacks that restrain or throw the enemy around. His usual strategy is to root himself into one spot and use those roots to attack people from below at long and medium range. - Ki Ki No: Ensnarement. While rooted, Kukui’s roots travel underground and spring up, wrapping around whatever’s above them. - Ki Ki No: Long Reach. Kukui extends his arms or legs to give him range, either punching someone from far away or using it to reach high or far away and laces.
