As you can see, this is a Horror RP interlaced with mystery and survival elements. Our story revolves around a young woman who is in a near-fatal car crash, but fortunately survives. Unfortunately, she is induced in a comatose state, and soon finds herself trapped in a twisted world of death, terror, and misery. A dark realm produced by a deranged mind, this mind not being her own.
Our protagonist soon discovers that she is the guinea pig in a science experiment. A flawed project that has been hijacked by a sinister unseen foe. The only way she can hope to escape this hell is to face her fears and stand her ground.
If your slightly confused as to what’s happening and wish a simpler explanation, then here; The young woman was selected at random from the hospital where she was admitted after the accident as the guinea pig for a government funded medical experiment. She has been “plugged in” to a next-gen neural computer system that can influence subdued minds, i.e the brain waves and thinking functions of those who are in comatose or “hibernatory” states. The computer is designed to take comatose patients to a “happy place” while their brain heals, and is supposed to slightly aid in the healing process. Subjects find themselves in an alternate reality of peace and harmony while their brain is repaired with aid from influential neuro pulses.
However, basically, an angry former colleague of the project head hacks in and tampers with the system and introduces a virus that scrambles the entire system, which twists and contorts the alternate world and traps the subject into a nightmarish state.
While the horrors and evils within aren’t “real”, the amount of stress and shock the brain undertakes from the corrupted system and the vivid state can severely damage the subject’s brain or even render them vegetative.
In the end, it is up to our young protagonist to overcome her fears and break free from this virtual terror.
