Princess Evangeline Townsend stands at 5'8'' with her slim body being somewhat toned from hard physical training and weights about hundred and twenty-eight pounds. With her fiery red hair and her pale skin she perfectly fits the description of the average appearance of an Earthica citizen. Her inherited red mane is at shoulder-length and she only ever wears it open, letting it hang carelessly around her face. Having resized it from waist-long to chin-short a couple years ago when it was hindering her on one of her climbings, returning home with a completely uneven haircut. Now a messy hairstyle is the usual consequence of her daily routine, which involves a trip to the woods or hard training on her self-made Parcours on the castle grounds. Really well fitting to her ginger head are her forest green eyes with a few hazel sprinkles in them. She barely wears any make-up, avoiding it wherever she can, though it does rarely happen, from time to time, that she asks her maids to put a little bit of mascara on her eyelashes.
Evangeline's wardrobe consists mostly of dark green, earth brown or khaki pants, most of them being shorts, leaving her long legs revealed. Her upper half will almost always be seen in t-shirts, tank-tops or belly-free shirts of earthy colors or a dark red tone. That wearing short pants in the forest is clearly a disadvantage doesn't bother her much. She enjoys the feeling of rough surfaces against her naked skin and the breeze dancing over it. Her feet, if not bare, are found to be stuck in boots of a dark brown shade, constantly covered in mud and dirt.
Evangeline does not wear any jewelry or 'fancy' attire, she does not like dressing for her title.

To understand Evangeline, one must make an attempt to understand the two facets about her personality. Being stuck between the little child, that is still hopeful and waiting for her father to tell her she is just perfect, and the adult woman she has become, that knows she does not need his approval.
Her inner child, small, broken-hearted and craving for affection, works hard to excel in the things she puts her mind to, tries to impress her father and make him proud, to not give him an excuse to tell her she is unsatisfactory. She really wants to be who he wishes she was, causing her to act rather boy-ish and rough. The little girl within her is still waiting to get a loving, positive reaction from him once in a while.
The adult woman, strong, fierce and independent, is a very goofy person, who loves to joke around and doesn't like being serious. She has a confident ego and likes to think she is funny and even witty, when really she mostly isn't. She has strong opinions on women that restrain themselves to being 'ladylike', preferring tomboy-ish, determined, ambitious women. She likes to mock about women and men alike who consider the appearance of a woman of much importance. (
"Do you prefer me like that? Flipping my red hair back?") Evangeline knows how to move her body and has a gift for dancing; for her own amusement she self-specialized in seductive dance, not liking the conservative, 'dull' ballroom dancing. Her craving for freedom, wilderness and the wind on her face often has her running or climbing around in the forests, searching the woods for calm spots to be alone in for a while, or diving into a lake, swimming for hours upon hours. Eve is very bad at making decisions, good ones especially, and knows she isn't fit for becoming a Queen yet - maybe ever. Actually, she would much rather stay a princess with all it's benefits and not ever become Queen with all the responsibilities.
Eve has moments in wich she feels proud of herself, worthy of love and affection and does not expect it from her father anymore. Rather, she has found the love within herself. In these moments she sees that he is not worth her energy. She just wants to move on from him and live an independent life without his bitterness towards her.
Evangeline is constantly stuck between the things she needs to be truly happy and the want of acceptance and affection from her father. She often reacts like a rebellious teenager rather than the 26-year-old that she is. Her logical thinking knows that she does not need to be changing herself for his approval, but it is hard to let go of that inner child's hope and desires.

Evangeline's childhood could be described as easy on the first look. She had a lot of freedom, was not often restricted in the things she wanted to do and only occasionally did her mother enforce princess standards, such as appropriate attire to certain events, on her.
Although her mother, a solid rock in her life, loved her dearly and kept her close when possible, Eve had always been fishing for the attention, the acceptance of the King. Growing up, he was rather absence from her life, keeping a certain distance to his daughter. Desiring a son rather than a daughter, the King used the little time that he spent with the princess to toughen her up and teach her various fighting skills. Evangeline picked up quickly on the preferences he had about her. Naively a young Evangeline tried to impress him by excelling in different forms of fighting, her favorite having been knife throwing, and adapting a certain behavior, acting more like a boy than a girl during her childhood and resenting anything too feminine.
As she became a teenager her thirst for acknowledgement shifted into a heavily resent for her father. Having spent her childhood days trying to get some sort of positive reaction out of him left her feeling bitter and angry, with even hatred boiling beneath her skin. The young princess began a rebel streak against her father. She would misbehave, curse, sneak out.
On one of her rebel streaks, as she sneaked out of the castle and went to the woods with raging anger, she ran into Laurel Mith. A young woman, who she would soon befriend. Figuring her father would not be too pleased with her choice of friends, she once again was more than wrong. The King in fact liked the new friend she had made and preferred her over his own daughter; Laurel being a warrior was something he respected.
Despite the frustration and anger she first let out on her friend, Laurel and Eve were able to form a strong, trusting bond and Laurel quickly became the only person in Eve's life that she felt she could always rely on. As years passed Evangeline grew more interested in Laurel and what was once a close friendship had become her first crush. Too scared to tell her, Eve kept her feelings closeted and is up to this date still waiting for them to pass by.
