Sparky was a little saddened by the fact that she couldn't sit next to Raynor on their trip towards the castle. She didn't say anything though as she got into the car, not really trying to sit next to anyone in particular. She didn't want to risk anyone yelling or snapping at her, since she didn't generally like to confront people like that. This was definitely going to be an interesting mission overall for her to say the least.
She kept her eyes on the beam of light, and hearing what Niah said worried her. Someone was stuck inside of that thing, that combined with that voice that they had all heard, and everything about that castle became even more unsettling. They had to do something, and fast, no matter how things turned out. Though she was guessing that if they weren't careful, things definitely were not going to go their way.

@Nallore: Up in command center, Kennedy checked his phone and got a bit of a pensive look, before he headed over to the bar and started to make himself a drink. It was strange and difficult, being back in this area, but he had to keep the bigger picture in mind. "I won't tell if you don't," he offered, passing over a drink to Cassandra - her usual. Drinking on the job was frowned upon but his hands were shaking and he just wanted to keep his head clear. Alcohol helped him with that, funnily enough.
A moment later, Jim frowned. "...Did you hear that?" he asked, grabbing his sidearm as he stood up. There was another loud BANG from the lower levels and then a soft whine, as the power in the Bus was killed. They were plunged into darkness and the emergency lights on the ground turned on. He then coughed slightly, seeing the ground carpeted in what could have been smoke or gas. "Reed, the masks..." he coughed, rushing over to a box with emergency supplies as he put on a gas mask and tossed one to her.
Raynor frowned, as he parked the vehicle in a darker/more secluded spot outside of the Castle. He would have expected a communication from Kennedy and Reed by now - but there was nothing. Turning on the car radio, he listened to the channel - and there was just static. "...Probably nothing..." he said, reassuring the others more than himself. He had ever expectation that he would walk out of this conflict unscathed.
"...If there's someone inside that beam of light, we need to help them," Novikova reasoned. She then bit her lip. It would likely just be to put them out of their misery, in her experience. For someone to be inside of that thing, alive...It must have been certain agony. Death would be the only thing that could be done for them. Raynor nodded at Tinley, agreeing with what she said about stealth. "I can do stealth, ma'am," he said. He then held out his hands and they seemed to shimmer for a moment, until he bent the way light moved around them, making them invisible as a group as long as they stayed together to the world.
"Let's get going, okay? And be quiet...this won't block out sound." There was only one entrance to the facility from what Novikova could tell - the front door. She picked the lock quietly, until she opened the door. Raynor did a quick check and there didn't seem to be any hostiles in sight.
"Clear." Novikova, Raynor, Nikolai, Sami, and Lee then all entered the building, without any knowledge of the events that were happening miles away at the Bus...
Location: The Bus, (Level Two) Skills: Engineering
As Cassandra sat in the chair she did her best to monitor the team from the command center looking up at Kennedy as he looked at his phone for a moment. Seeing the look on his face, but she assumed that it was just a text from a family member or something along those lines as Cassandra shook her head a bit. "Nah i'll pass, and I wont tell unless Fury has some unwanted cameras in here as well." Cassandra said teasingly. Then she stopped for a moment when she heard something loud which caused her to stand up drawing out her ICER and started to scan the room.
The team was already off and doing their mission, so it obviously wasn't them since they literally just left for the castle. "I heard it was well.." Cassandra said and then there was a loud bang, and suddenly the whole Bus went dead, lights and computers included looking over at Kennedy for a moment. "No one else should even be on here." Cassandra muttered then she started to cough heavily looking down at the ground seeing the gas quickly starting to fill the room.
Cassandra quickly caught the gasmask with no problem, quickly putting it on she remembered that the powerboxes were all on the lower levels in the cargo hold. "We need to take out whoever is there and resort power." Cassandra said towards Kennedy as she made sure that all of her gear was in working order and started to head to the lower levels and investigate what was going on.
Maria Smith
Location: Outside of Castle Doomstadt -> Inside (First Floor Entranceway) Skills: Power Absorption, (Lee's Photokinsis)
Maria sat for a moment in the van as she looked out the window seeing that strange light portal or whatever it was that was sticking out of the sky. She wasn't even sure who or what it was inside of it, but she could easily hear that voice just like everyone else did, Maria looked over towards Raynor when he pointed out that the Bus was silent. Which was very odd they could have heard from Agents and Kennedy by now. "I don't like this at all." Maria said as she shifted a little bit in the car seat just as they finally got to the front of Castle Doomstadt.
Maria looked towards Tinley and gave her a nod, she was fine with going in silent for the mission they needed to not be caught at all, and only use lethal force unless necessary. Then they got out, of the van noticing Raynor's power a little bit she couldn't help but be a little bit impressed by it. "You should totally let me take that out for a test drive sometime." Maria said towards Raynor following alongside everyone else as they got to the front door.
Maria watched Novikova pick at the lock until it finally opened, and followed everyone else inside, when the foyer was completely cleared no sign of any of Von Bardas' men. "Lets check the next room." Maria said as she opened the door to the dining room, which was converted into some kind of conference room. Maria's eyes went wide as she noticed five armed men there, and they quickly opened fire on her, Maria yelped slightly as she felt a stinging pain go through her shoulder. The rest of the shots missed Maria quickly went to cover behind the cheese cart, figuring that she used her power barrowed from Lee and tried to light up the room, but it didn't work at all.
Niah stayed at the back of the group with her ICER ready. She had dropped her sight in exchange for hearing. Maria led the group into a second room after she was certain the first room was clear. Niah kept behind the wall to protect herself. She was thankful she had done that as several shots were fired at them. Even with the crazy stealth that Raynor could do.
She took a deep breath and peeked around the corner, aiming at the first guy she could. She pulled the trigger and knew she hit him squarely. He went down and she was back behind the wall again. Not a shot aimed at her. She let out the held breath.
Tinley got out of the vehicle and pressed forward with the others. "Stealth it is then. I've a feeling combat is inside regardless. Use force if necessary and if they give you hell, give them hell in return." Once inside, all was quiet. She saw some of the others make their way to the right so she went left. "Splitting up here. If you run into trouble, reach out. No hot dogging or playing the hero." With that, she made her way left.
Down the hallway, she came into a bedroom of sorts. There wasn't much in here, but she searched anyway. She hoped for a computer of some sort to have Tempest hack it, but nothing. Instead, she found an invoice statement from Hank Pym to Howard Stark. She took it anyway, noting the names. She wondered how the others were doing.
Tempest Renroir
Location: Castle Doomstadt (Level 1) Skills: Gun
Tempest followed the others and watched Tinley go her separate way. The woman seemed capable of handling things on her own, so Tempest felt it best to stick with some of the others. For now. Though she was eager to play around with the Castle's computer system. She had a feeling it would be devilishly good fun.
And fun seemed to be inside the dining room. Maria rushed in with Niah, and she could hear the gunshots. Tinley did say to give them hell if they fought back. So Tempest rushed in, gun drawn, aiming at the two men left. She fired off her shots, missing both, but she soon felt a bump in her chest. She looked down, hoping to not see blood. She didn't (thankfully) but she pulled out her phone and saw the bullet embedded in it. It was lost now.
She threw the phone on the ground and glared at the two men. "Ok fuckers. You just cost me a new phone. Who wants to die first?"

@Nallore: Cass is a bit lucky, not running into anyone from HYDRA, for the moment anyway. Who knows just how long that'll last. The area is still filled with knockout gas, so removing the gas mask right now would be a bad idea. Jim doesn't respond to Cass, but odds are that he's doing something right now. Though with no power, it is kind of hard to tell where everything is, or even where Jim is in comparison to Cass.
@Nallore@Kirah@FantasyChic: The four remaining men immediately opened fire. Two shots hit Tempest, once in her leg, another shot ended up hitting her squarely in the stomach. The two shots fired at Maria weren't quite as bad, one missing entirely since she was behind something, having at least some cover. However it didn't protect her completely as the one other shot managed to hit her upper leg.
Theresa Sparks
Location: Castle Doomstadt Skills: N/A
Sparky wasn't too sure what else to do but to follow after the others. She trusted Raynor, so she just nodded her head slightly when he said that the whole thing wasn't too much to worry about. Things were definitely not going to go there way though if they weren't careful, and she hoped that maybe people wouldn't be reckless or something. Though she couldn't help but be in awe slightly at Raynor's use of powers, she knew that he had practiced them for a very long time, but still, it did impress her.
She stuck close to Raynor, not sure what else to do as others started heading off in different directions around the building. This was not a situation she knew how to deal with, kind of wishing that she was back in the lab now. Hearing Tinley's words made her face turn red slightly, figuring that at least part of that statement was likely directed towards her and Raynor. "Alright... Let's see what we can find out... Odds are what we are after is likely in the upper levels..." she said softly, heading straight ahead slowly.
Location: The Bus, (Level Two) Skills: Dermal Armor (Passive) Hand to Hand
As the knock out gas started to quickly fill up the cabin of the Bus it started to make things very, very hard to see, the only thing that she could hear was her own breathing. She would occasionally stumble against a wall or a piece of furniture that was on level two she was completely unaware of the two HYDRA agents that were there. As Cassandra tried to navigate as best she could she felt something quickly being wrapped around her neck, a ligature. Cassandra started to struggle and stumbled a little bit backwards until she felt herself hitting the wall.
Using that to her advantage Cass would ram her back against the wall, until the attacker lost their grip around her neck. Quickly Cassandra turned around getting a clear look at the HYDRA agent. She went in for a round kick to the head, as the agent's head was hit she could hear a crack as well the moment the agent hit the wall. Cassandra took in a few deep breathes through the mask rubbing her neck a little bit. "Jim you there?" Cassandra yelled out, she wouldn't see that well at all.
As Maria took cover she winced as she felt the searing pain going through her upper leg, which made her lose a bit of her balance as she looked over her shoulder as Niah opened fire on the armed guards. Managing to take out one of them before hiding behind the wall once more and then Tempest she could hear her say something about losing a phone. Maria stood up from her cover and quickly opened up with four rounds of her ICER.
All of them made their mark as the guards quickly went down. "Rooms clear." Maria called out as she limped a little bit and then noticed that Tempest had been shot. She quickly went over towards her and then looked over at Niah for a moment and then went to hold a little bit of pressure on Tempest's wound. Then Maria opened up the radio. "Tempest's been hit." Maria said while looking down at her own wound seeing her pant leg staining with a bit of her own blood as well as her shoulder.
"I'm not any good with uh living people. I might be able to sew up a wound or at least hold pressure on it." Niah offered. "Maybe we should get back out to the transport." She added, then looking over Maria and seeing her wounds she frowned. "And you too I guess."
"Agent Renroir, try to keep pressure on your stomach." Niah didn't think she could carry Agent Renroir by herself, but Maria didn't look in any state to help. She hoped someone would come to help them. "I'm going to check the next room to make sure this room is secure. You two should stay here until we can get you to the transport."
Niah stepped over to the other door in the room and carefully checked to make sure the next room was clear. It was, she let out a small sigh of relief. And then returned to Maria and Tempests' side.
Tinley glanced around the room one last time, figuring there was nothing else there. She circled back around and made her way down the hallway. Another door was there. She knew she should check it, just to clear the bottom floor. She opened the door and peeked inside. Thankfully, there was no one in there. However, what was in there was something better.
She stepped inside and saw the blueprints. She read them through and did not like what she saw. There were Quantum Field generators, Super Soldier Serum, clones, Pym particles, and a bunch of other things she didn't much like knowing von Bardas had her hands in. She glanced around and saw a satchel. She snatched it and folded up the blueprints and put them in the bag. She didn't want the enemy to keep them. "Found blueprints in the library. Bad stuff too. Taking them with me. Let's continue upstairs."
Tempest wasn't expecting the men to lash out, but they did. She felt a warm sensation on her leg and stomach. She was down almost instantly as blood started pooling on her clothes. Thinking quickly as the others scrambled, Tempest summoned her power and healed herself. She wasn't sure she could do much, but instantly she felt better. In fact, she felt better than she had before. Her wounds closed up and she sat up.
"I'm fine. I have healing powers, guys. Let's just get out of this fricken room. I've a feeling what we need will be upstairs. And if anyone sees any technological doodads around, let me know. I'm itching to hack into them now after these stooges destroyed my phone.

@Nallore: While one hostile was down, it wasn't exactly the time to talk. The other HYDRA agent was about to shoot Cassandra through the eye - they must have known about her powers! But we can be concerned about that later. In a hilarious bit of universal karma, the weapon was out of bullets and Cass was completely unharmed. The agent stared at her for a moment, incredulous. "Kennedy isn't here to help you, idiot!" they then hissed. The agent knew they wouldn't win in a hand to hand fight against Cassandra and that there was no getting off the bus, so they instead took the suicide pills all HYDRA agents carried on them and died. RIP HYDRA agent.
Foes will appear on the map once they are 'discovered.' Rooms will be noted once they have been cleared by the team as well.
Lee and Sami nodded, getting the communication from Tinley. But they were in Operations and as far as they were aware, this level hadn't been secured left. Immediately next to the doorway to the master suite was another room that had not yet been explored. The last thing they wanted to do was to head up to the higher levels, only to find themselves trapped and surrounded by hostiles. "Rhodes and I are going to clear more of the rooms on the west side," Lee said into his comm device. "Yeah...Yeah we'll do that," Sami added, a bit distracted - or perhaps nervous?
"I can accompany you, Agent Abercrombie," Nikolai said in an accented voice over the comm link as well. Novikova, of course, couldn't help but be curious when it came to the plans that Abercrombie found. She doubted that Abercrombie could read them properly, not knowing that the field commander apparently had a natural intuition when it came to these things. "I can examine those plans quickly now - or wait until we're back to base," Novikova offered. She couldn't help but feel relieved to hear that Tempest had healed herself - and no one else reported as injured, so Maria had to be fine.
Raynor then glanced back at Agent Sparks. She was a squishy scientist and wasn't fit for this sort of mission - not as much as the others. With Tinley wanting to press to the upper floors, he saw an opportunity. "Actually, have Sparks look over the plans - Novikova, your powers could be beneficial here," Raynor said - though truthfully, everyone's powers were equally useful here. "I'll go clear the east wing of this floor - company would be nice but is not required." He then held his hand in front of him, creating a little orb of light that followed along with him as he pressed forward, cockily not waiting to see if anyone came with him.
"...I'm with Abercrombie then," Novikova said, heading to meet Tinley outside of the library.
Cassandra turned her head to see the other HYDRA agent that was there pointing a gun directly at her face, as far as she knew she was bullet proof for the most part. Only things she could die was a shot into her mouth or either one of her eyes, which were the least protected. When Cassandra heard the gun click, she stared at the HYDRA Agent for a second either he was a freshly new recruit or he was just really dumb and forgot to load his own gun.
Though the next thing he said, was that Kennedy wasn't there to help her and before she could do anything else the HYDRA agent took one of their cyanide pills and watched the man die on the ground. Cassandra grumbled and muttered something under her breath, they knew how to kill her which was disturbing someone must be a mole on the team. They knew where the Bus would land easily and knew where to take out the power as well. "Kennedy if your there and can hear me, i'm going to try and restore power back!" Cassandra yelled out as she turned and headed down the spiral stare case to the cargo hold making sure that she wouldn't let any remaining HYDRA agents didn't take a shot at her. The most important thing right now was to restore power and get the coms back to the field team.
Maria Smith
Location: Castle Doomstadt First Floor (Dining Room) -> Kitchen Skills: Power Absorption, (Lee's Photokinsis) Handguns, stealth
Maria looked at Tempest, and closed her eyes letting out a light sigh as she watched the girl use her ability to heal herself up rather nicely. She looked over towards her friend Niah and shook her head a bit, she was fine for now despite having two wounds she was able to fight still. "I'm fine, don't worry about me right now." Maria said calmly as she winced a little bit as she left the Dining Room and made her way over towards the kitchen. Maria started to curse herself her feet were a lot louder than she'd like it to be which would obviously draw the attention of the people there.
Maria noticed two men that were there they seemed to be pretty damn slow to even react as Maria took out her ICER again and fired eight shots, aiming four to each of the men. Only three of the rounds managed to hit them, but that was alright as Maria watched them hit their heads and then they were neutralized. Maria took a moment to look at her two wounds once more before radioing in again. "Two men in the kitchen are down now." Maria called out.
Sparky heard the others, not too sure what she was even getting herself into at this point. She knew absolutely nothing about combat situations, aside from the virtual reality simulation, and that hadn't exactly been real. This was a real life combat scenario, and now she kind of was wishing that she had stayed in a lab or something, as opposed to going along with everyone else. This was not something she was prepared for, but now that she was there she had to deal with it.
Hearing Raynor want her to kind of stay put and look at blueprints, well it didn't exactly sound like a great thing for her to be doing. "Uh... What do you expect me to get from a set of blueprints that she hasn't already noticed? That wouldn't exactly be a great use of time, as we need to finish the mission, we can look at them afterwards. I'll go with them though to get to the upper floors," she said, heading after Novikova.
Niah was impressed. And thought it was too bad Maria hadn't taken Tempest's power as well. Having two healers could be helpful. Especially since Maria was bleeding, but she seemed to be fine with the pain.
Niah followed Maria out into the kitchen, and she had taken down the two men in the room before she could even raise her gun. She didn't want to lead the way into the next room. She nodded and moved down the hall near the stairs up to check the next room for hostiles. As she stepped into view of the Great room she saw four people.
They fired on her. Everything went fuzzy as pain blossomed in her stomach and leg. She lifted her arm to fire back, but couldn't figure out where any of the people were. She pressed her hand against her stomach and leaned against the wall she was thankfully next to. "Maria." She weakly said. "There are four hostiles." She had no idea if anyone heard her, she didn't even have the wherewithal to turn on her mic.
Tinley didn't quite know how to feel about stopping the mission to look over the blueprints, but perhaps it would be beneficial. So she exited the library and met with Novikova. She handed over the satchel. "Here they are. There's some bad stuff in there. Stuff we don't want to have in our enemy's hands, so please don't lose it."
She opened the comm again. "The goal is upstairs and that is where I want people to go. Finish up quickly on the lower floor. We don't have time." She waited a beat. "I'm going to head back up. If you want to come with, feel free. Either way, we need to get this done quickly." Then Tinley snuck her way over to the main room towards the stairs, at the ready in case hostiles showed up.
Tempest checked herself. A rip here or there was nothing. As the others left, she followed quickly, keeping up. Once they were there, she heard the sound of battle and shots. Maria got injured and Tempest sidled up to her. She used her power. At first, it didn't come up but her second attempt managed and she released her energy and healed Maria up. "I'm going to help Niah."
She made her way over to Niah know, as the enemies shot at her. Thankfully, she didn't get hit again. She got in cover and took out her gun. She ducked out and shot off four rounds. They hit their marks, but only three were grazed. The other, however, was hit hard and he dropped to the floor with a scream. "One down."

@Nallore: There's still no reply from Agent Kennedy. It's definitely time to worry, since it's possible that either he's fighting a pack of HYDRA agents or they already took him out. However, Cass will know that once power is restored, she can track him down via his comm device and see where exactly he is. Luckily, she doesn't run into any agents on her way down and there aren't any blocking her way to restore the power/coms either. Yet Cass will run into a problem... It wasn't just that they cut the power: they overloaded it. Every circuit is fried. The capacitors look swollen and Cass will know this means that she has to replace them outright - hopefully everything else will be functional. The Bus won't be going anywhere for a while.
Foes will appear on the map once they are 'discovered' and will be denoted by an X. Rooms will be noted once they have been cleared by the team as well.
As the newly reformed Team Tinley approached the staircase, they weren't the only ones on the lookout for hostiles. The S.H.I.E.L.D. team had been relatively quiet but gunfire was hard to ignore and it had been exchanged on both sides. They had been lucky so far that Von Bardas' security team hadn't come to look from other areas, but now it seemed a pair were heading down the very spiral staircase that Tinley and the others wanted to go up.
"...I'll look at the plans later," Novikova agreed, taking them and making sure that they wouldn't be lost. One of the hostiles sent a shot down at them, but Nikolai breathed fire and created a shield of sorts, causing the bullet to drop to the ground. "They have the high ground, Agent Abercrombie," Nikolai observed. He then looked at Novikova. "See if you can change that."
"...Okay," Novikova said, looking up the stairs for a split second before she held out her hand. The ground underneath the staircase started to shake and she was capable of destroying the staircase, but it was near a load bearing pillar and she didn't want to disrupt it. Instead of knocking the hostiles entirely off of the staircase, the shaking caused one to lose his balance and fall down a few steps, whereas the other dropped his gun and it misfired. Luckily the bullet hit the wall and not any of the agents.
Meanwhile, Raynor had made his way with his ball of light over east as indicated. He had heard the cries in the kitchen, and rather than come at the hostiles straight on, he made his way around the island and came at the from behind. Hawkeye wasn't the only one able to be stealthy and he hardy made a noise, knocking the hostiles over with his lights before they could even turn around and draw their weapons. "And that is why you always bring a flashlight to a gun fight," Raynor muttered, before he ran over to the others.
He looked at Niah for a moment, taking some time to assess her wound. It didn't look good. They'd need Tempest to heal her pronto - she was losing way too much blood and with a stomach injury like that, it'd be dangerous to move her. "Tempest, she's got minutes," Raynor said bluntly. Truthfully, it was less than that. "Can you heal her? If not, I'll try to cauterize the wound, buy us some time to evac her to the Bus."

Cassandra was relieved to see that there weren't any other HYDRA agents that were in the cargo hold, she quickly made her way into the compartment of the Bus where all of the power systems went through. Still keeping the gas mask on her face she stopped and stared at the big fucking mess that the HYDRA agents had done. It would certainly take several hours before she could get it all working again. "God damn Squid Heads." Cassandra said to herself as she inspected the damage, everything was pretty much fried or melted which wasn't good at all.
She started to look around and headed into the cargo hold, eventually Cass found exactly what she needed and quickly opened up the box seeing a box fully stocked with replacement parts. Cassandra sighed in relieve that they had the replacements that they needed, otherwise they would be in the country for a lot longer than necessary. Cassandra grabbed what tools she could get her hands on, as well as some rubber gloves, and headed back into the room.
Cassandra would make sure that she was quiet and occasionally looked over her shoulder she did not want to be jumped by any HYDRA agents like the ones that caught her by surprise back on the upper floors. And what still worried her was that Agent Kennedy wasn't answering at all, once she had power and communications up and working she would get in contact with the rest of the team and find out where the hell Kennedy was.
Maria Smith
Location: Castle Doomstadt First Floor (Kitchen) Skills: Power Absorption, (Lee's Photokinsis) Handguns, stealth
Maria looked over at Tempest as she came over towards her and closed her eyes for a second as the woman healed her two wounds, she was now able to put more weight on her leg. She also rubbed her shoulder looking at the woman and smiled towards her, she was certainly gratful for the help. "Thanks Tempest. I'll buy you a new phone when the mission is done." Maria said as she started to follow alongside Niah until then she heard some gunfire going off, and noticed that one of her closest friends was now injured.
Maria looked over towards Tempest for a moment as she took out one of the agents and then a few seconds later Agent Raynor came in as well. Maria knelt down holding Niah's hand. "If your attempt doesn't work if your willing I can borrow and then try again. You are going to be fine Niah." Maria suggested while trying to comfort Niah and then looked up at Raynor. "Still haven't gotten a reply from Kennedy or Reed yet?" Maria asked, maybe he had some luck at least, but it was certainly a problem if they weren't able to get in contact with either SO.
"Did you really think I was only going to break the fourth wall in X-Men for this?"
"Hey uh... Sorry for the interruption, but there is something that needs to be addressed. As we all have likely heard, today we've lost a great man. And sure, I have been a bit rude to him in the past, but hey, not like he actually created me. Just created just about every main hero that exists in Marvel from most of the Avengers to the Fantastic Four, and yes, the X-Men. So I think it is time for us to have a moment of silence for the guy responsible for Hugh Jackman's Wolverine, and several other characters we've all come to know. Without him, we wouldn't be here. I'm not used to all this mushy stuff, but even I can recognize that we've truly lost someone special today. So all I have to say from everyone in the Marvel universe since no one else can actually talk to you Stan, thank you for everything you've done."
"And one more thing, now we'll need someone else to do all of these cameos, so maybe the execs at Disney will let me do the cameos in a Stan Lee costume..."
She was shivering. The pain wasn't as bad at least. She could say that... or rather she could think it. For some reason, talking was really hard to do. Maria was there though, which was nice.
Were they supposed to be going for a run? Had she forgotten that? "Sorry Maria." Oh good she was able to talk, even through her chattering teeth. There were other people there too. She knew them, but what were their names? That was frustrating.
She saw the group of people who were currently shooting at them, not too thrilled with the idea of being hit with a bullet at all. Sparky contemplated taking off into the air, but she tended to have better luck with her powers when she was solidly planted on the ground, so she was not going to get airborne if she was going to be attacking them. Really, she did not feel like knocking herself out of the air and making a fool of herself.
At least that kind of was what the plan had been, but of course, things don't tend to work out that way when plans tend to play out. She tried to get her powers working, tried to get the sparks flying, but the first time she had tried it, nothing had happened. Alright, no problem, she decided to try again, but still, there was nothing. So what, third time's the charm right? Trying a third time, and she still got nothing to work. Today was not her day clearly.
Tinley heard the warning and crept her way around into the center room. The stairs leading up were in the open, but she knew what to expect when she got up there. Slowly she made her way up each step, glancing around her in case more hostiles showed up. As she got near the top she peaked over and saw two men. One seemingly having his gun knocked out from him and another still up and ready. She knew she had to help, especially considering her crew down below. Height was always an advantage.
She moved easily along the stairs, slipping by them. In a flash, she was on the two of them. The closest one looked over just in time to see her foot coming across his face. She brought her leg back around the man's neck and flipped over, putting the man to sleep. The other one saw her now but she rolled forward, tripping him. The man fell to the ground with a clatter and she was on top of him, taking his arm and cracking it behind him. She put a hand over his mouth as she screamed in pain. His gun hand no good to him anymore, she leaned forward in his ear, "Be a good boy and point me in the right direction. Crucial information to your boss' dealings. And do not scream anymore or I will do worse than break your arm. Now, I am going to take my hand away. Once I do, if I hear so much as a peep other than what I want to hear, you will wish I knocked you out like your friend. Got it?"
Tempest looked over to Niah, who had now been critically injured to the point that, without proper help, she would be gone. Raynor didn't have to tell her twice. She was on her and summoned more energy. So far, she had healed three times. More than she ever did before. Thankfully, it worked. Niah would feel her wounds healed. "She'll be okay, though I can't promise I got all of it. She won't die though."
Maria made a good point. Thus far, they haven't heard word from Reed or Kennedy. "I may be new to the team, but I have a feeling if we haven't heard from the command back on the ship that it is not a good thing. Typically. Do you think they are under attack? Should we go back?"
