Personality & History
Maellinn is an entrepreneur full of courage and adventure. Despite not being a great wit or diplomat, and only an average businesswoman, she fully enjoys herself and the company of her good friend John. She is recognizable by her optimistic outlook on things, love of humour, and small town idealism; however, despite this she is not helpless and has been looking out for herself for the past four years, traveling from one corner of the world to the other.
She grew up in a small hamlet out of Urland, where she learned to bake under her father. When she turned 16 she had inherited the bakery and baked alongside her mother to support her father, who had slowly fallen ill. By 18 her father had succumbed to his disease, and his organs simply stopped doing their job, he died soon after.
Despite the loss of her father, Maellinn and her mother continued to run the shop together for another ten years before Maellinn decided to chase “silly rumours and dreams” as her mother put it. In reality, Maellinn has headed out into the world in search of the Everlasting Fruit, a mythical fruit named for its taste, which is said to enlighten the taster with the perfect flavour, and is further rumoured to never leave after it has been tasted.
