Milky, pale skin, bright, watermelon-pink hair, and jade green eyes define the youthful woman. When on the go, she ties her ruffled pink hair into a up-do ponytail, ready for whatever comes next. Her slim, athletic body is usually covered by a black or white blouse and a cute, blue vest or button-up, finishing her outfit with a pair of matching blue-jeans. She considers her style simple and cute, not really having a strong sense of what is in-season or fashionable.
Personality
Ezra is filled with curiosity and energetic spirit. She does what she can with extreme gusto, more times than not doing before actually thinking. She has a peppy, can-do attitude and outlook on life, sometimes coming with a bit of annoyance to others. Ezra tries her best to see the light in all situations, no matter how dark.
Background
Originally Ezra's family lived in Celadon City, Kanto but moved to the Alola region when she was five years old, where she was raised since. Growing up on Melemele Island, Ezra attended the Pokemon School where the principal was Samson Oak, the cousin of the well-known Kanto Professor Samuel Oak, him having a well-respected name of his own in the study of Pokemon variations.
Attending the Pokemon School turned out to be a blessing as her curious nature was highlighted by her teachers and peers. As time went on and her studies gradually evolved, Ezra was offered many opportunities and a once in a life time internship to study alongside her principal Professor Oak. Being able to study the regional variants of Alola and comparing them to the Pokemon of her birth region of Kanto was her main area of study during her time as an intern, under the watchful eye of Samson Oak.
As the years went by, her curiosity grew, which made her seek out new opportunities and adventures. Pulling some strings with old connections and friends, her mentor was able to get her into another field of study with a friend in the Orre Region along side Professor Krane who studies Shadow Pokemon.
With fair skin, long, flowing dark hair tied back in a ponytail, a friendly, gentle smile, and a straight, svelte posture, Mushirou looks just a little too soft to be a police officer. Still, he carries himself with the demeanor of one who has been trained his whole life to be regimented, exuding a noble, refined, aristocratic air that hides the cognitive dissonance brewing between his ears.
Personality
Mushirou is placid and motherly to his family, friends, and allies, but this is merely a fragile exterior. He maintains a calm serenity as long as what he perceives as order is maintained, but when pushed to the edge, and he is easily pushed to the edge, he begins to reflect the dark truths of his upbringing. To those he perceives as enemies, he is sadistic and ruthless, and tries desperately to return things to a sense of order, believing that the best way to solve a problem is to eradicate it entirely. He idolizes the concept of law, and fantasizes about a dystopian future where everyone knows their place. He is the kind of person who will speak like an abusive mother chastizing her child, while his enemies are slowly succumbing to his pokemon's poison, all while wearing a placid, loving smile on his face.
Background
Mushirou is the fourth son of a traditional military family, his father having served alongside the illustrious Lt. Surge. As a child, Mushirou was always physically weaker than his brothers, having a more feminine build. To his father, Mushirou was a disappointment and learned discipline and obedience the hard way. His greatest failure was when he was rejected from officer academy, unlike his brothers. Unable to prove his strength, Mushirou took his mother's suggestion and went to study under Fuschia Gym Leader Koga, learning that strength was a state of mind, and that ruthlessness and proper conviction was often enough to take down any foe, regardless of physical strength.
Though he was unable to join the army, Mushirou took the next best thing and joined the police force. Now, due to his discipline and lawful ideals, Mushirou has been sent to Orre to root out corruption and crime, and to participate in Professor Krane's new pokemon project, acting as a liaison between Krane's project and law enforcement.

Standing around "6'1 and weighing in at 185 lbs, you can find Judas wearing a black tank top, and wearing a jacket with a large popped collar over it, because he thinks it looks cool. He also wears a red scarf, because he thinks it looks cool. The gloves are mainly just to cover up all the wounds on his hands from handling his Trapinch, Squegg, who likes to bite. Lastly, Judas wears brown pants, full of pockets for him to forget things in, and a white bag slung over his shoulder for just about everything else. Judas has no fashion sense.
Personality
Full of false bravado, Judas wants desperately to play the hero, but that's easier said than done. He's a total newbie, but likes to think he knows what he's doing. While Judas tries to do good, he unknowingly can cause a bit of trouble, and usually gets in way over his head. Not to mention, being the son of a pokemon scientist who works directly under a pokemon professor has its benefits. Judas knows many things about pokemon behavior, biology, ecology, and more! While his knowledge isn't quite as vast as his father or the Professor, it can certainly come in handy raising pokemon. In the end, when you really get down to it, Judas sticks to his word, and will be there when you need him, doing his best.
Background
Judas was born in Violet city, Johto. He lived there for 19 years before his father got a new job in the Orre Region. Judas' father was a scientist, and worked directly under Professor Elm whilst they were in Johto, and worked directly under Krane in Orre.
Living in a city with a trainer school, Judas learned much about pokemon from both the school and his father. While he never got his own pokemon, the family vulpix, and whatever his father brought home provided good basic experience in battling and care for different types of pokemon. Eventually, it was time to move to Orre, and meet the new professor.
From what Judas could tell, Krane was working on some sort of "Purifying Machine" for "Shadow Pokemon". Apparently they were corrupted by the Orre equivalent of Team Rocket. While Judas wanted to help, he had little knowledge of this kind of stuff, and couldn't do much.
Eventually Krane said he was gathering a few young people to go out and get said shadow pokemon, as well as fight off Team Snagem. Judas was one of the first to apply. Problem was, Judas didn't have his own pokemon, and the family vulpix was a little to domesticated to be a battling partner. It was time to catch his first pokemon.
Going to the surrounding desert of Phenac City, Judas looked for a prime target. Many diglett and sandshrew could be found, but he wasn't interested in those. Judas knew of the pokemon Trapinch hid in the desert, and would one day become a mighty Flygon. After a brisk search, Judas' search bore fruit, and a Trapinch could be found slowly walking through the sand.
Throwing a pokeball, it landed directly on its big orange mouth, and was sucked inside. The Trapinch put up little in the way of fighting, and was captured quickly. Picking up the pokeball, he took his new friend home, and named him Squegg.
Arriving at home, Judas showed off his partner's. Holding him up in the air the Trapinch blinked slowly and was completely limp. They had a lot of training to do. With the help of his father they did their best to get Squegg fighting fit.
From here, Judas begins his adventure in recovering shadow pokemon, and perhaps even striking a blow against Team Snagem's antics.

Standing at a slightly above average height of five feet seven inches, Dahlia's most notable trait is her long, dark blue hair with pink undertones. She has pale skin and sports a thin, willowy frame with long limbs and a few noticeable curves. Her large, bright blue eyes give her a rather innocent look, her long nose and lips giving her an elegant look. She takes very good care of herself, her hair is almost always done, nails manicured, and blemish free. She leans towards what she calls a 'simply classy' state of dress, her wardrobe consisting of simple pieces that she likes to dress up or down with accessories. Heels are her absolute favorite, though her sunglasses collection is a very close second, both often being brand name despite the rest of her clothes being whatever she got for a bargain.
Born in Lilycove City the eldest of three siblings, Dahlia has always been the type of person to do as she pleases since she was young. Despite her parents running the Lilycove Department Store, she has always had more of an interest in pokรฉmon. Battles were nice, but were a little too straightforward, too easy and brutish for her. To her, contests always had this flourish of technique and style, so it was a given after she got her first pokรฉmon, a Feebas, and began her journey to stardom. She adored the limelight and elegance of contests, throwing herself into her craft. After years of practice and entries, she eventually ended up earning multiple ribbons in the Beauty category.
A few years back, she met another trainer by the name of Elena. She had come from the Orre Region, and after competeing, the two became quick friends, keeping in touch for some time. When Dahlia went to visit Elena as a surprise, she found out that her friend had joined a group called Team Snagem. Despite immediately wanting to decline, Dahlia wondered why her supposed friend would want to join Snagem. Doing a small investigation of her own, she followed Elena and stumbled on an operation in which they had somehow gotten their hands on what looked like a blue Ralts and had intended to take it away. Springing into action out of impulse, a battle ensued, although she underestimated their brutishness and barely managed to escape with the Ralts in tow.
Despite going to the authorities, little was done after the matter. Apparently Team Snagem had been something of a recurring issue with Orre, a fact unknown to the Hoenn-born woman, but she found that it was difficult to do nothing. Taking the Ralts in her care, she ended up clashing with Team Snagem several times after that. It came to a head recently when a particularly violent, corrupted Sceptile critically injured her Milotic. Deciding that she needed to be smarter, not stronger, she decided to go to Professor Krane, who was rumored to have something that could help with the 'shadow' pokemon she had encountered.

Colton is a tall man, just under 6 feet. He usually stands with a formal posture, and wears simple, well-kept cloths. He very rarely shows emotions. He has more tanned skin that what one might expect from the scientific sort; and short, black hair.
Personality
At first impression, Colton comes off as a cold, uncaring person, almost to the point where one might assume he is a sociopath. And if you did assume that, you wouldn't be that far off. He has somewhat of a scientific mindset, spending a lot of time so observe his surroundings and how objects, pokemon, and people react; and then simplifying his observations into logical conclusions.
Or at least, that's what Colton would tell you. While the above statement isn't entirely inaccurate, he does have a bigger soft side than he is willing to let on. He is easily startled, and does not like showing traits he sees as "week", which is a broad and poorly defined list. He doesn't like showing emotion and pretends to see pokemon as tools, a facade that shamelessly melts when he is around is Eevee.
Background
Colton is an orphan, hence is lack of a last name. He doesn't know who is parents are, and since he was never adopted it stunted his emotional growth. His orphanage in Orre was destroyed an incident he is pretty sure is related to Cipher, and because of that he is quick to blame the Cipher organization on a lot of his life problems. He never moved out of Orre, mostly because he never had the money, but partially because of a secret, underlying desire to "get back" at the Cipher organization, something he would never admit.
When Colton heard about Krane's research (and the fact that Krane was going against Cipher, intentionally or not), he grew interested and decided to join, and once he was accepted he acquired his first Pokemon, Eevee. Krane was skeptical about hiring Colton, but Colton's scientific mindset convinced Krane to give Colton a shot, since that might help with the gathering of data.

Harvey has a head of slightly curly brown hair with tan skin and bright brown eyes, standing at around 6โ1โ. His wardrobe consists of fleece jackets with whatever loose jeans are lying around. He wears a pair of wiry glasses that are frequently lost, broken, stained and bent beyond repair. One could almost say that he has single-handedly supported the optometrist industry within Orre through the whirlwind combination of his daily routine and advanced level clumsiness.
He carries an olive backpack covered in holes, tears and oil stains, and inside is a small tool bag used as an improvised pokeball holder.
On his feet are a staple to all of his looks, a pair of absolutely trashed tennis shoes. When you work in environments covered in grease and Arceus knows what, its only natural that your footwear is going to suffer. A lot.
Personality
Calling Harvey a wallflower is an understatement. He is completely and utterly terrified of having conversations with people his age, and actually meeting a wild pokemon would probably melt his brain. While he would preferably avoid any and all contact with other people, he is aware that talking is the only way to achieve his goals and will often force himself to be social, resulting in plenty of awkward situations for everyone involved.
Harvey is used to following the rules and procedures of his job to a T and will quickly enter panic mode when things donโt quite go the way theyโre supposed to. He will commonly have disagreements with people who arenโt as strict as he is, but will meekly go along with what they have in mind, though not before weakly protesting.
He is at his most relaxed when around grownups. He has little experience with pokemon and tries to avoid them at all costs. Any pokemon that isnโt small and commonly owned will either mystify or scare him. Or both.
Background
Harvey has helped around his father's motorcycle shop for as long as he's been able to remember. Sure, they definitely have their fair share of shady clients, but they're not exactly in a very nice place. Harvey himself has little experience with pokemon and has avoided them without much effort for the most part out of living in Orre his entire life and being an inside person. Just lingering around the shop and helping out in menial tasks is enough to satisfy Harvey, as the place tends to get packed pretty quick. Or at least, thatยดs what he deluded himself into believing at first.
Exclusively interacting with tattooed behemoths twice your age tends to have an effect on you over time, especially if youยดre the sort of teenager who gets an adrenaline rush out of watching anything PG-13. Harvey grew tired of the one sided conversations had with coworkers and customers alike that consisted of him wanting context to their suspicious slang terms and then receiving it along with a toothy smile and a lesson on human anatomy. Working away from the floor as the receptionist was even worse, as the way that heยดd forcefully offer drugstore candy to the rare arrivals his age and lower had certainly placed him on a list somewhere.
Fortunately change did arrive one day in the form of a Professor with a mission. Recruit nearby youths that werenยดt morally vacant criminals and band together to preserve peace within the region. The sort of job reserved for those with a knack for bonding with trainers and pokemon to overcome great danger, or in other words, meant for someone the complete opposite of him. Everyone familiar with Harvey and his quirks would have never imagined him willingly signing up to such a daring undertaking, and thatยดs precisely why heยดs gone ahead and done it. Heยดs self aware enough to know that his current personality is in need of some tuning up, and is prepared to do whatever it takes to be the very best, or whatever it was that those Saturday morning cartoons would always blab on about. Friendship? Yeah, he could make some friends too. All part of the plan.
Alongside him is Gear the mareep, a pokemon gifted to him by a coworker after claiming the two had good chemistry. Gear had been banging her head against a garbage can repeatedly and had caught his attention. She then plodded over to him with a mane full of motor oil, selecting him as her new trainer and not the other way around. She has been kept inside her pokeball for quite some time now, as heยดs been too busy and nervous to properly interact with her. One of his first goals is to have her out for as much time as possible.
