There are certainly mysterious as they are the youngest and strangest of the civilized races. No one outside of the Veidish are sure about their origins or where they come from.
Vampires are originally from the High Elves' homeland which is located on the Isle of the Lost. After being expelled due to their practices, they scattered across the other kingdoms. Now they keep in contact with each other through a semi-annual summit where the most powerful vampires share information and try to gain favor with other vampires.
So I'll probably create a culture as part of the character. I'd like to have something that adds some semblance of truth to the Gaia Golem. Maybe its a powerful conjurer or elemental magical source that attempts to grow life through some visions bestowed upon the legends, gods, or demons that speak to it.
My first thought is that the Veidish were created as a type of servitor race, conjuring or elemental magic so powerful it actually birthed a breed of wood elemental. If their master is for whatever reason is gone, it left the odd race to their own devices, young and without purpose.
The character I was thinking is an attempt for the Veidish to develop into an actual culture. A leadership caste attempting to impose purpose and order onto its unguided race. Hell maybe they are hive minded, never seen that in a fantasy setting.
But of course, I can go in much much stranger directions. For instance, the Veidish literally grow from immense and magical trees and my character is looking for a place to take root and grow the next generation.

I will put this in the lore for the vampires
About how long ago were the Vampires exiled from the Isle of the Lost? Just looking for a timeframe for the purposes of the characters history. (Sorry for all the questions)
I do like the idea of them being created to serve a specific purpose before their creator vanishes. One bit I will add is that the Veidish can share their thoughts and emotions non-verbally but they do possess separate wills.
Psychic magic is a sub-category of Manipulation magic that is entirely about altering the mind of others and includes memory manipulation, inducing nightmares, mind control, and twisting their perception of reality.
Vampires were banished roughly 5000 years prior to the story, but practiced their ways for a few millennia before that.
"Where there is life there's hope, and life is everywhere."
Name: Nidhogan, The Root that Marched Against the Flame
Appearance:
Age: 339
Race: Veidish
Height: 12 feet at the shoulder, slumped on four legs usually.
Weight: About 4000 lbs (Weight of a Tree)
Composition: Its most common form is a creature that cannot be confused as anything else than a being composed of bark plates mixed with all manner of plant matter writhing underneath the bark like internal organs. Everything only looks vaguely organic in shape but the wood can grow, be reabsorbed or shape itself at will, forming limbs and appendages. Only the head seems to retain a shape for any stretch of time and it looks like a artistically modeled mask of twisted warpped wood that only slightly looks like a face but with near two dozen slots for eyes and no mouth. Its mouth is actually a series of mandibles composed of grinding roots and snapping flytrap leaves. Thankfully this is hidden underneath its' 'face'. Generally the moss and leaves on its back supply it with nutrients and it will sit in water for drinking. While it can grow edible fruit and seeds, it flatly refuses to eat them.
When it uses another form, the bulk of its matter is left behind as a husk, appearing to be a heavy piece of wood sculpture.
Personality: A gentle giant. Wise as it is childish. Strong as it is fragile. Destructive as it is innocent. Approaching with hands open, the Nidhogan will claim you as a creature worthy of life and protection, tending to your needs for life. Attack with the fires of rage and fear, and it will be as if the very earth itself will rise to snuff out the embers. The Nidhogan is a creature of extremes, and it knows not of restraint, save for its infinite mercy and forgiveness for the ones who let their fury subside. Indeed, the Nidhoggan has no memory of such grudges, instead indulging in the love and joys of life itself. How it does so is potentially dangerous to those nearby.
The Nidhogan is completely alien to most other civilized species as it does not seem to have the same mannerisms, motivations, and cultural identity, more or less deciding things on a whim.
Additionally, the Nidhogan is unpredictable. At times it seems distracted. Other times it seems to talk to itself before wandering off on some errand. It claims that it hears voices and knows the names of very prominent gods and demons but fails to grasp what they are exactly.
Quirks:
Gender: Fluid, it will take on the gender of its form and normally isn't concerned with what it's called. Like most plants, it has male and female parts.
Sexuality: Poly-amorous. It is attracted to others by biochemical signals they unleash during emotional states. Like sunshine, it is attracted to positive emotions.
History: The creature was not born. It was made. Maybe it was a tree given life and sentience. Maybe it is alike an elemental. Maybe it is but a golem of wood. Who can say really other than Nidhogan itself.
What it believes happened was that something created it. Its faded, but it was something with hair and two legs. That's what it thinks. And when its creator finished with it, the creator seemed to not really know whether Nidhogan was what it wanted, and so it continued to create, leaving Nidhogan more or less to its own. At that time, it was more a beast. It grazed, it hunted, it chewed on trees, and it swam in lakes. It was an aimless monster, at many points running into the other civilized races and attacking them.
But then something happened, the creator came back, but it was different a little bit. This thing with two legs had alot of hair and seemed to speak more gently. It was followed by other things, things made of branches and leaves that played at its feet. The Nidhogan found a peace with these creatures who frolic'd and played and approached it with chattering voices. Through them, the Nidhogan learned to speak, and through them, the Nidhogan learned what it was. A Veidish like them.
The Nidhogan followed this creator, learning her features, and her goals, and the Nidhogan became her servant. She called upon it to grow things. To sprout trees and fell dead ones, so that more can grow. She sent it to villages of smaller creators, and carrying with it miracles that removed the blights that felled their crops. In return, they worshipped its master. Nidhogan was happy.
Then one day, the Creator was not there. The Veidish that followed her stopped playing, and instead began to wander away. The Nidhogan did the same. It needed to creator to find purpose and worth. And without her, it was just a beast again... well, now it wasn't. It knew what it was, what it could do, but knew not what it was for. It wandered, looking for its master. It refused to believe it was abandoned.
Than the Nidhogan came upon a terrible sight. A battle, an army, and fires of war had burned a forest, scorching the land in death. It was a terrible thing that hurt the Nidhogan. A great rage overtook it. It bellowed, and with it, the forest itself marched.
What the Nidhogan had stumbled upon was an army of the Lich King that had claimed a kingdom lost to history. It was taken by one of the Lich King's inner circle, a priest turned to darkness for immortal life. The Nidhogan ran through fields of bone, blood and fire. Its wood burned, its bark lashed with blade, yet it fought like the elements have come alive in fury. It fought with the forest behind it right into the heart of the army, right to the dark priest. Their battle was a clash of titans, and at some point, the Nidhogan had received a terrible wound by the priest's enchanted staff jabbed into its neck but ultimately the giant felled him, crushing the priest's unholy body under its bulk. The rage subsided as the fires were quenched. It surveyed the battlefield and simply walked off. This victory for the forces of light was also lost to history to the other civilized races.
However, several things happened at once that day. Dozens of Veidish had answered the Nidhogan's call. They seemed to look to it now. They were like it, in need of purpose. Nidhogan thought back on the battle, the emotions it felt and how it reacted. It didn't like it, but it was curious to what other kinds of sensations it was capable of. It remembered serving its master, doing things that grew the land and changed the colors of the seasons. It liked that. No it loved it.
It suddenly had a great idea. The Veidish should make a great forest! A great place where they can grow and grow and grow. And then they'll make friends. And those friends will make friends. And everything will be good and happy and fun. The Veidish all loved this idea. They needed somewhere safe though. They didn't want to fight like they did that day again. And so they all agreed to search for a home.
They split up, traveling all corners of the world. Most Veidish in their innocence forgot what they were looking for, but Nidhogan, it was different. Even in the long years of searching, getting very little out of scarred people as the lumber tree tried to talk to them, it could hear voices.
The priests staff still lodged in its neck was a conduit for divine voices. All of them knew the capabilities of such a simple and powerful being, and so many spoke to it. Nidhogan, being gullible and eager to help and to feel new sensations followed the words, believing they were the words of its master guiding it. Sometimes it meant that the Nidhogan did bad things, and sometimes good, and most of the time, things that didn't make any sense. It spoke of things it never knew before, and knew of great disasters before they happened, and sometimes it spoke of several conflicting things as the voices in its head argued with eachother.
Still it kept Nidhogan's mind sharp, stimulated, and full of memories. It didnt forget its goal. Find a safe place to build a home.
Magic: Elemental Wood: Master To the Nidhogan, the Element of Wood, the Element of Life is its purview and domain. Reacting more as instinct than actual spell casting, Nidhogan can make nearly anything happen as it portains to plants. Trees will swing their branches, thorn bushes grow in a moments notice, before bursting in a shower of thorns. Fungus will grow to incredible sizes and shower the land in noxious and coughing spores. Roots entangle. Moss devours. Grass slices. Herbs tangle themselves as living bandages. The list goes on, and its more than welcome to teach the Element of Life to prospective students.
Elemental Earth: Novice As the Earth is so tied to the life of plants, The Nidhogan has slowly learned some of the spells that effect the earth. This is very limited, cracking the ground, pushing it up, smoothing it out. It uses this more for landscaping than anything considered attacks or defenses, but it does have its utilitarian uses. Shaping stoneworks for one.
Manipulation: Limited Not really magic, but more of a way of interaction. The Nidhogan can take on multiple forms. All of these forms are limited to something inherently plantlike, either looking to be made of leaves, vines, wood, flowers, or some combination of the plant matter. Invariably these forms are mimicry of something else the Nidhogan wishes to embody. Out of its body of wood, a blossom will emerge and step out. While the husk remains inert, the blossom will unfurl into the form the Nidhogan wishes to interact as. This form is further enhanced by a type of pollen or spores which have a slight hallucinogenic effect as well as pheramonal. It allows those afflicted to perceive the plant as something more approachable. For example, the forms below,
-will be more easily accepted as what it is trying to mimic, giving its form a more accepted quality, maybe even a semblance of beauty. Nidhogan uses this to interact with other creatures. It can only change when stepping back into its bulky husk.
Conjuration: Unique While the Nidhogan has absolute control over plants, causing them to grow, bend, and act at its will, something rather extraordinary happens when the Nidhogan is grounded in a place long enough. Materials that it works on, a process described as both garden, cultivating, and pruning gain a semblance of sentience. The Nidhogan has been known to surround itself with creatures that are not quite Veidish and act more like elementals of wood and earth with their own goals, will, power, demeanor, and even intelligence. It is currently ever curious about what it can create, and has claimed that it has 'grown' or 'birthed' other Veidish in its life. With a below however it can summon these creatures, beasts, and other spirits of the forest to its service. It has only done so in times of war and great jubilation.
Skills: Gardening, Cultivating, Wood Carving, Stonework, Medicine, Basket Weaving, Topiary, Farming, Cooking, Sewing The Nidhogan seems a creature that hungers for the skills and talents that create. It has been asked to grow homes and build furniture with admirable gusto. It will sit itself down in sewing circles. It has constructed statues and seeded farmland. The creature is fascinated with what happens with life, love, and some other bits and bobs come together
They typically live in forests with giant trees serving as their homes. Aetheri magic is the strongest although they are the weakest physically. Each Aetheri is born attuned to a specific element although it is not unheard of for an Aetheri to be born to multiple elements. These Aetheri that are born to multiple elements usually grow to become leaders and heroes of their people. Their average lifespan is ~500 years but it can stretch to nearly 700
I might as well throw my WIP character sheet into the ring. Still got more to go, however. Since I am still working on her history.
Edit: No longer Work in Progress, it is finished!
Name: Stephanie Viola Delia-Mira
Nickname: The Firebrand
Gender: Female
Age: 16
Birthday: June 16th - This is on the day her parents got married. Therefore, it is her parents anniversary and her birthday at the same time.
Sexuality: Heteosexual
Race: Human
Homeland: Armintium, Gondrevil - The city she was born in. It is nicknamed ‘Viola’ for its fields of purple flowers.
Worship: Satelle, the Goddess of Peace & Order - She worships this goddess mostly because it falls in line with her belief systems. Since her parents worship the Goddess of War most of the time for a good battle and to come back to Gondrevil safely.
General Description
Stephanie wears a family necklace around her neck, which has her mother and father within it. It is made out of the most beautiful silver. She wears her mother’s favorite armor, which looks pretty much as it is. She wears a battle skirt that goes to her knees. She has beautiful green eyes, that shows a fire within her that not much people can see within her family as of late.
She has two weapons on her at all times. They were both handed down to her by her parents, the Firebrand Rapier and the Icebrand Shortsword. They were magical engineered with fire and ice elements from the elemental magic school in mind. They have specific commands to use their abilities within them. However, it backfires a bit too much when Stephanie tries to use the weapon’s magical commands. They were specifically created for Stephanie’s parents and not her.
Her hair goes passed her shoulder blades at least until it reaches her mid back. She has an outright disdain for dressing up for occasions. She has a birthmark on her back in the shape of a pretty flower blooming. The flower in question is called a Viola, a purple flower that is outside of her hometown of Gondrevil. She has an hourglass body type, which is unique for her family since most women in the family has a straight body type. Because of that, she was taught a stance specifically for hourglass body type women from her mother specifically.
She smiles sometimes, when she smiles, it’s somewhat of a shocker to people because of her mother’s ferocity. If they knew of her mother’s exploits. Her skin color is a bit paler than most humans but it is fair skin. She is left-handed compared to her parents, who can use both of their hands equally well. She wears a simple silver bracelet on her left arm, which has a flower engraved on it, with the words of ‘My loving daughter Stephanie.’
Height: 5’4”
Weight: 130 lbs
Hair Color: Red
Eye Color: Green
Complexion: Fair, pale skin
Body Composition: Athletic
Personality:
Stephanie has a little bit of a nature to her that wishes her parents would stop putting everything on her as if she will be great like them. The complex relationship between her and her family in general is quite different compared to other families. Her father is cold and calculating telling her what she should do in their mercenary band called the Delia-Mira Band. She has a much difficult relationship with her father more than her mother. Out of everything, she outright dislikes how many times she has to move and meet new people only for them to move again after their job is done.
Her entire stance on this life is very negative, and outright dislikes living in that condition. Not able to be a kid hurted her mental development a bit. She trusts people way too easily, and she wants to make friends no matter what kind of thing happens to her. She’s completely oblivious about the actions she chooses. Her carefree attitude and wants to constantly smile in any type of adversity usually makes her feel better since she had a shit life living with her family’s mercenary band.
The greatest coping mechanism is to show people that she’s not her mother and won’t conquest a thing since she wants to live in a world away from her parents. She’s rebelling against her parents ways, mostly because of the fact of being a Pacifist. She won’t be aggressive towards someone, but she will definitely finish what someone started. She does want to defend herself, even though she’s a bit clumsy sometimes.
She gets embarrassed easily when, you say things that talk about her body. She knows how beautiful she is, which she doesn’t need to be constantly reminded about it. Her mannerisms make her sound similar to her mother in question. However, she more elegant than most people she knows. The war that is going on between the Empire and the other nation, terrifies her. In the case, her smile changes to a frown and starts crying. That is how much fear she has because of those two nations fighting.
She heard all the rumors of her mother’s exploits and that makes her more afraid that someone would kill her over a pass grudge. That’s in the back of her mind, which makes her a bit afraid of the future. Therefore, she came up with a plan, the only good thing she’s great at in terms of thinking ahead compared to her parents that is. She wants to completely never see them again because they have put her through more than anyone has ever.
History:
A Year before Stephanie was born. During the Viola Summer Festival of Flowers in the city of Gondrevil of the Kingdom of Armintium. There was two specific people in the center of the crowd that was pretty much the complete opposite of each other. They were itching for a fight since they definitely didn't enjoy being in the same exact town with each other. Their names are Derrick Victor Deliarsa of the Cold Hearted Deliarsa Mercenary Band and Rita Viola Mira of the Mira's Delphius Mercenary Company. These two mercenary captains always clashed when they returned home after a mission or two. Rita was the first one to speak and it had hate in the tone of voice she used. "I hate your guts, Icebrand. I hope you die in my fires." Rita spoke towards him. She had began to start casting a fireball to eliminate her rival's mercenary captain of the Deliarsa Mercenary Band.
A voice of reason spoke up to make Rita stop, it belonged to a beautiful woman. The woman in question was the Mayor of Gondrevil by the name of Sarah Lara Gondrevil. "Firebrand and Icebrand can you stop fighting. Please for this once? In your god damned lives. I have been your friends for as long my family ruled this town. The only reason why we allow you two Mercenary companies or bands to reside here." Her tone of voice was a bit strained since she hates seeing the purple flowers, which are called Viola burned or frozen. She was crossing her arms looking at the hot headed Rita and the Ice cold Derrick like a mother would.
Derrick looked towards Rita and then Sarah. He sighed at the whole thing all he wanted to do was relax from the long mission he was on. "I am sorry Sarah. But you should know how Firebrand acts around me. We are the polar opposites in how we do things. Rita can we for once and make a truce?" He responded to Sarah with a tired tone and doesn't want to fight at full strength. He looked directly into the eyes of Rita, this was the first time he saw her eyes, they were a beautiful orangish amber eyes. He was utterly shocked in how beautiful they were and they definitely showed she was definitely had the fire to do things.
Rita sighed at her best friend asking her not to destroy the Cold hearted bastard, which is Derrick. However, she heard and felt her eyes were being looked at. She looked directly into Derrick's eyes, which were beautiful with a light-bluish glow to them. "U-Uh, sure we can have a truce. I should've looked at your eyes sooner Derrick." She responded with her heart beating loudly in her chest. Her entire vision of her rival was shattered when she saw into his eyes. She saw something of a lonely person in them, in a sense they both were lonely. She couldn't help but blush at the fact, she finally met her soul mate after all this time of searching. He was right in front of her this whole time and she never noticed him.
Derrick smiled when he heard Rita say a compliment about his eyes. He smiled gently and looked directly at Sarah. "I think the Firebrand should gain a new exploit in her reputation. The conquering of a lonely soul, which is named the Icebrand. Because I am in love with Rita." He said proudly and heartfelt towards keeping the Firebrand's reputation fierce. He knows of her exploits as much as the next person who live in this city as a whole. He was sick and tired of the two fighting constantly and he was wondering what cold and calculating thing he could do to stop Ice and Fire from clashing again. His mind was set on marrying her.
Ms. Gondrevil, the mayor of the city was utterly shocked in the entire thing that just transpired in front of her eyes. The two most rowdy mercenary bands are literally going to join together and protect the town together. "I must say, this wasn't in my list of things to do today. But I am happy that my two best friends can finally be together like they should have been all this time. I just wanted to have an uneventful Flower Festival but no. Therefore, when is the wedding between the two of you?" She asked an honest question but she couldn't believe at all what she was hearing. Her smile was genuine at the finally having peace and quiet in her city after all the times Rita and Derrick wrecked the place.
Rita was a bit shocked at the question that Sarah had asked. She couldn't really have a fathom idea of when their wedding should be unless the cold and calculating Derrick had already picked a date. She just looked awe struck at Derrick since she was a bit more nervous around him than her usual demeanor. She was crossing her arms and looking up at the tall handsome man, which she never noticed before. "I-I don't know... Derrick probably already has plans for it though. I never really thought ahead about this at all." She nervously responded to the question that Sarah asked and was a bit nervous. She didn't know what Derrick would respond to what she had said.
Derrick smiled when Sarah asked the question he was waiting for to hear from her. He already had it planned and he even had the future planned ahead. He looks down at Rita a bit and smiled gently towards her, however, he laughed when he heard her response. ”That’s simple. It’s going to be at noon, today so you better get a wedding dress together Rita. As well, when we have a child, we can name them Stephanie for a girl or Richard for a boy. However, our mercenary companies have to combined into one united force called the Delia-Mira Mercenary Band. Since that’s what our last names will be from then on since I am getting sick of our rivalry Rita. I know it’s the 16th of June right now.” He laid out his plans to Rita and Sarah since that’s what he was great at strategies and freezing the enemy. He couldn’t help smile about all his plans.
Rita was completely dumbfounded when he told her his strategy of everything. Her smile on her face because she was definitely right at the cold and calculating Derrick in having a set out strategy. However, she didn’t really like the fact she had to have a wedding dress and the wedding was planned at noon, today. Which was during the Viola Summer Festival of Flowers, this kinda pissed her off a bit. ”I must say Derrick. You are exceptional in your planning and everything. Does that include shoving our doctrine onto our daughter or son when they are born and to make sure they know their place in our Mercenary Band?” She asked with a slight irritation in her voice since she wanted to control every single thing about her child’s life no matter what. She was highly hopeful this would be the case.
Derrick didn’t say a word and only nodded at her question. He only knew that it should be obvious that people in a Mercenary Band, who have parents who lead it. Would have to be treated the same as everyone else in it. He laughed slightly and put his arm around Rita’s shoulders since he wanted to show her something he created.
After all this, the two of them were married exactly at noon. Rita looked absolutely beautiful mostly in a wedding dress, which Derrick created for her. He was a hell of a clothes creator nonetheless. The clothes he wore was crafted by him, and usually repaired wherever he goes. His wife Rita, was hell of embarrassed at the fact it showed a bit too much skin, when she enjoys full body armor or her usual casual armor she wears around the city. However, it was a pretty big celebration at the Flower Summer Festival and they were congratulated for finally marrying. Sarah was the one who gave them a beautiful wedding gift, it was a bouquets of Violas, the purple flower, which gives Gondrevil its nickname.
The next year on June 16th, a wonderful thing happened with the Mercenary Leaders of the Delia-Mira Mercenary Band. Rita gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, which was named Stephanie Viola Delia-Mira. When she was born it was 3:00 PM, which was a bit after the 1st year anniversary of Rita and Derrick’s marriage. This was the first time that Rita had to stay at home in Gondrevil, while her husband Derrick was taking out a 1/3rd of the Mercenary Band out on a training exercise to keep them ready. Rita absolutely hated being stuck at home since she’s more or less an adventurous type of woman. However, her friend was next to her keeping an eye on Rita.
Sarah was sitting right next to Rita in a chair looking at Stephanie, which was a newborn baby. Sarah used her magical detect ability, which can check what type of magic the child will be attuned to. ”Oh my… your daughter is attuned to the water element. That is absolutely wonderful. Rita please don’t do anything rash and you need your rest, while you recover from giving birth.” Her voice was very calm and happy to see that the Icebrand and Firebrand made a child who is attuned to water. Sarah had a weary look on her face because only she can really teach Stephanie about the Water element from the Elemental Magic School, since her family is the only water mages in the entire city.
Rita widened when Sarah spoke of her daughter’s elemental magic affinity and was a bit shocked. She snapped out of the shock to speak. ”Seriously? Stephanie is a little water mage… something tells me Sarah you will definitely have to teach her the water magic. Since I can’t really do that. I don’t have time to learn water magic since I am a fire mage. I would rather die than learn a magic that would make me alike my husband.” She responded with a highly annoyed tone in her voice. She didn’t want to make her daughter cry but how they will raise her will probably do that pretty easily. She moved her hands and wanted to give Stephanie to Sarah, since her daughter needs to sleep and herself does too.
Sarah nodded towards her friend and held Stephanie in her arms and walked her to the crib. She laid the newborn baby in the crib gently. She looked directly at Rita and sighed slightly and walked back to her friend’s side. ”You could be a bit more grateful towards your friend. Please don’t do anything too rash to your daughter. Because you will regret it, this isn’t a warning or a threat dear friend Firebrand.” Her voice had a certain tone of regret when she spoke it. It seems like Sarah knows a few things about regret since she lost her brother in a conflict in the Kingdom because he was too reckless and rash alike Firebrand. She never got to say goodbye to her brother and misses him dearly.
Rita heard Sarah’s tone and sighed mostly because she misses Sarah’s brother too. The real reason why she constantly fought with Derrick since it was under his watch that Sarah’s brother died without any recourse. She yawned a bit and looked directly at Sarah with a slight smile of acknowledgement. ”I miss your brother most of all. I can see why Derrick wanted to name our child Richard, if we had a son… I think he still regrets for what happened to your brother Richard Salius Gondrevil. May the goddess of war bring us glory.” She responded to Sarah’s regret and wanted to give a bit of a prayer to help out her husband who’s out of the city. She slowly went to bed and more or less moved her hand to tell her friend to get out of here.
Sarah gritted her teeth when she heard the words she didn’t want to hear from her best friend, Rita. She, however, lessened her seething anger towards the one who got her brother killed for nothing but glory. She has a super long fuse nonetheless, which sooner or later she’ll talk to Derrick and give her a peace of her mind. ”Goodnight Rita, my dear sweet friend. May the Goddess of Peace watch over you and your child. While you two sleep.” She responded in a tone that shows she cares for everyone in the city of Gondrevil. Ever since her brother’s death, she had to keep busy somehow. She hasn’t been able to grieve for him at all. She walked out of the bedroom, while blowing out the candle and shutting the door.
On Stephanie’s 5th Birthday, she was growing up pretty well even though her parents were hardly ever at home. Because of the fact, they were co-leaders of the Dalia-Mira Mercenary Company. She was in the Mayor’s home, who had a beautifully large mansion compared to all the other homes in the city of Gondrevil. She also lives in a big house, which was also a mansion. She was in the kitchen, watching Sarah cook and wanted to help but didn’t really know how to help. ”S-Sarah, how long until food is done?” She asked cutely since she wanted to know when food was done. She’s happy that most of the people in the town helps her out in things. She hasn’t really been able to get through to her parents that she doesn’t want to be a Mercenary.
Sarah looked over to the sweet little girl Stephanie with a gentle smile. Her relationship with Stephanie’s parents has soured pretty badly. They can’t really do anything to hurt the Gondrevil Family’s favorite child, which is Sarah. She absolutely loves Stephanie because she’s absolutely sweet and caring about every little thing. ”In about thirty minutes, Stephanie. I still can’t believe your parents, are forcing you to be a grown up even though you are only five years old. And need to play and stuff. I should’ve kept your magic affinity a secret from them.” She responded to Stephanie’s question but was a bit frustrated at the fact her parents were forcing reading and writing on their daughter already. She should have never believed Rita’s smile because she’s a pretty sly one at that.
Stephanie smiled happily at the answer to her question. She can handle the wait since she always have to wait on her parents to come home. Her entire facial features were a bit sad and depressed. Her body language was showing that she’s have been constantly crying much about the entire ordeal with her parents as of now. ”Y-Yeah, I want to play and do kid stuff and not do what my parents want me to do.” She sadly responded to Sarah’s complaining about the enforcing of her parent’s doctrine onto their own daughter. She smiled with tears coming down her cheeks since she couldn’t really take how she’s being treated by her parents.
Sarah saw the little girl crying and walked to where Stephanie was and hugged her tightly. They hugged for a while, which helped the little girl stop crying for awhile. Sarah can’t really adopt the daughter of the people, which have a strained relationship with her. She wiped Stephanie’s tears so she can look like she hasn’t been crying. The entire thing of this helping Stephanie in learning water magic can wait until she’s a bit more approachable about the magic affinity. ”Stephanie, you can be strong for the both of us. I will support you all the while your parents are pushing you to become something you shouldn’t be and aren’t. We should pray to the goddess of peace and order.” She said towards the five year old girl, she hugged. She had a gentle smile on her lips when she was talking about her patron deity.
Stephanie heard Sarah say something about praying to a goddess of peace and order. This one thing interested her since she definitely doesn’t like war or whatever her parents do. She didn’t really know what it meant at first since she never really prayed to anyone before to answer her wishes and things. But she was worried about the food a bit more at this point. ”W-What about the food? Sarah.” She responded curiously to Sarah’s wanting to pray to a goddess. She was holding the hand of Sarah though since she feels a bit more safe with her than with her parents.
Sarah smiled when the young girl asked about the food again. She was the most happy around Stephanie since it reminded her of the relationship she had with Rita before she became a Mercenary. She stood up and noticed one of the helping hands around the house, which was a cook that just came off from the break. ”Don’t worry about it. The head cook of the staff will finish with it since I usually pray around this time too. We can pray to the Goddess of Peace and Order and return to eat since you need to grow little one.” She responded to Stephanie’s curious response about the food in question. She moved snapped her hand that wasn’t holding onto the little girls hand. The head chef nodded and walked over to finish what the Sarah started.
Stephanie saw the head chef who Sarah said, and it was a pretty remarkable lady, who was pretty good at cooking and was using their magic to help them cook it easier. She wanted to join Sarah at praying to the Goddess of Peace and Order. They walked in unison to the prayer room of the Mansion, which held a shrine to Satelle, it was a pretty big shrine within the mansion. The most beautifulest one to depicting how the Goddess of Peace and Order looks like in a painting. They both kneel down to pray to the goddess. It was a pretty simple prayer to the goddess of peace and order. Stephanie felt a connection more so to Satelle than Nalissa, which is in her parents home. She was a bit more happier at that since it was unique experience praying to something that is more aligned with her beliefs.
After the prayer, they returned back to the kitchen table and saw the food was perfectly finished and they ate. They were hungry so they ate the food, which was made. They prayed for about a total of 30 minutes before they actually ate. It was the first time that Stephanie felt at peace since she could properly get her thoughts together. And she decided while eating with Sarah, she wanted to get away from her parents. ”I will try in all my power to keep myself as I am. And not turn into my mother or father since they are a bit too focused on the war aspect.” She spoke to break the silence that was happening in the room. She didn’t want to be a warrior only a pacifist that sought the more peaceful option over fighting it out.
Sarah was a bit shocked in hearing this five year old girl say that just after only a thirty minute prayer session to her patron deity. She couldn’t believe this girl wanted to stay like what her mother was before she gained the nickname of Firebrand. She started to cry because she never thought this day would come that someone would want to live a peaceful life within the city of Gondrevil. ”I… I… am amazed at your resolve. I hope you can keep your promise to me than Stephanie. That you will stay how you are and never change because I would love to make your parents regret their actions.” She responded to the declaration of Stephanie’s determination in not allowing her parents destroy who she is. She had a smile on her face at that and still wished Rita chosen a more peaceful life. However, the likelihood of that happening was highly unlikely since Rita was competing against her five other sisters at a chance to lead the Delphius Mercenary Company.
Stephanie listened to Sarah and nodded, however, she started to cry because of Sarah is crying to. She was crying like most kids would since she’s still innocent and naïve at her age. Her tears weren’t stopping even though, she was eating her food. She was a cute little kid and was pretty emotional at all this, her parents attitudes towards her didn’t help much. ”I-I’m done. I should go to sleep, S-Sarah.” Her voice sounded a bit weak from all the crying and she was exhausted. She got up from her seat and went to the guest bedroom, which was hers as long as her parents were away on their job. She had to go back to the house that had many different things wrong with it if her parents returned home. Which was the unrelenting negativity and outright disallowing herself to grow as a child.
A month after Stephanie’s 10th Birthday. This was brutal and grueling for a ten year old girl. She was forced to go with her parents on an assignment. This absolutely didn’t help her demeanor towards her parents. She couldn’t believe her parents for dragging her all the way to another city in the Kingdom. The city’s name is called Baterol, the city of fields since it is a primarily a city of fields of wheat. Her eyes looked directly at her parents with a bit of annoyed look at them. ”Mommy and Daddy why are we going to Baterol?” She questioned her parents with the most annoyed tone with her parents, who don’t give a shit about what she thinks anyway. She wondered what her mother or father would do to respond to her question.
Rita sighed at her daughter’s question and sighed a bit annoyed with the child’s idealistic bullshit. She stopped in her tracks and looked directly at her daughter and walked up to her. She smacked her daughter across the face for the tone of voice she used on them. She wanted to do more to Stephanie but she decided not to. ”Shut the fuck up, or else. I won’t be allowing Sarah to help you out with anything anymore. It is nice you are able to use water magic but it’s nothing to what we are going to teach you.” She responded to her daughter’s question with a tone of enraged annoyance. She wondered what her daughter would do since she outright smacked her on the cheek and doesn’t like the back talking little brat, trying to underhand their doctrine.
Stephanie started to cry when her mother outright smacked her across the face. She couldn’t believe her mother would do something like that. However, she knew her father wouldn’t stop her mother at all since they are both in on shoving their doctrine down her throat. Her emotions were at a tipping point now since she realized her parents were never going to change their views or ways. ”P-Please don’t mommy. I will be a good soldier girl for as long as we are on this trip, will that be good for you?” Her tone in her voice was afraid of her parents completely now. Her body language she was utterly shaking at her mother’s fire in her eye look. This is the first time her mother ever hit her on the face for being disobeying her will.
Rita had a smile on her face when she heard the words coming out of her daughter’s mouth and was grateful this trip was good for something. Her eyes were looking at her daughter shaking in fear of her and it filled her with a bit of pride. ”Might as well tell you why we are going here. We are meeting up with some of our Mercenary Band, which was crafting some jewelry for you. The Necklace of Unity and the Bracelet of Pride, your birthday gifts but they were going to take a entire month to reach you. Therefore, we decided to deliver you to your presents daughter.” Rita responded to her daughter’s original question since she has calmed down from hitting her daughter’s face. Her smile on her face was a bit softer and not as cruel as it was when she hit her daughter.
Stephanie listened very carefully to what her mother had said and couldn’t really believe her mother and father was going to give her a gift after all this time. However, she was already forced to use her mother and father’s weapons already on exactly on her 10th birthday. She didn’t know if she wanted to be excited that she was going to get gifts or be skeptical about them. ”T-Thank you mother and father.” Her tone of her voice, when she spoke those words were a bit confused and felt like she was struck with lightning. She didn’t really know how to respond to that.
Rita smiled at her daughter happily, when Stephanie thanked Derrick and her. They continued to walk towards city and they finally reached the city in question. Rita stayed with her daughter and allowed Derrick to meet with the Jewelers in question, which were also good at Magical Engineering. She smiled a bit happier and looked at her daughter in question and wondered what her daughter’s stance is in many things. However, whatever she’ll say will determine what happens to the necklace in question. ”Stephanie, let’s be real for a second what do you think about fighting anyone alike me and your father Derrick?” Rita asked, highly curiously and waited for her response. She wanted a specific response and hopeful to get it since she wanted to magically engineer her daughter’s necklace with a empowerment to water magic. However, if she got the wrong answer it will be more harsh in her decision and magically engineer it so she can hear the thoughts of Stephanie.
Stephanie looked at her mother seriously and didn’t know what was going on in her mother’s head at all. Her mother’s smugness and superiority over her is annoying. She couldn’t help herself but look sincerely at her mother and point to her specifically. ”Mother… The truth is. I fucking hate you. All about killing no chatting, no allowing me to be a child.. Everything about you being a mother is outrageous. You shouldn’t have been a mother in the first place. You don’t know what being a mother is. Sarah is a better mother to me than you have ever been. Forcing your weapon, your nickname onto me. I am not you. Stop with this farce that we call a relationship. You are a slave driver and you know it. You enslaved me to be alike you but I won’t be like you. Since I worship the Goddess of Peace and Order, like Sarah!” She snapped at her mother because she was sick and tired of hiding this from her mother and father, wanted to have nothing more to deal with her parents at all. Her yelling did get the attention of one of the guards, who was approaching the Firebrand anyway.
Rita moved back at the rage, she felt in her daughter’s own voice. However, she ignored all the allegations that her daughter was spouting, the one thing that pissed her off was the goddess she was worshiping. This made Rita snapback and straight up smack the living shit out of her daughter’s face in front of armed guard. Her emotional rage could be felt, there was a fire brewing inside of herself that she never felt before. ”Fucking god damn it. You were corrupted by that bitch of a whore, Sarah weren’t you? Stephanie… You are going to regret everything you have said right now.” Rita responded to her daughter. However, before she could pull the Firebrand Rapier that was on her daughter’s person, she felt a hand touch her shoulder and had a sword directly at her neck. She gasped and looked directly at who it was and it was one of the paladins. She let go of the Firebrand Rapier, noticed the Paladin did the same to her in terms of moving the sword from her neck.
The Paladin looked directly at Rita and Stephanie and sighed at the two. The paladin took off their helmet and it was relieved it was literally Rita’s older sister Stasha. ”For the love, of the Goddess of Peace and Order you better stop what you are doing, Younger sister Rita. Or you will regret your decision completely since I still have many years on you in sword fighting and without your signature weapon you are kinda pathetic. The Paladin Order of Satelle is proud of you. Daughter of my younger sister Rita, you must be Stephanie I heard so much about you by Sarah.” Stasha responded to Rita since she was protecting anyone who worshiped the Goddess of peace and order. She put her sword away and walked to Stephanie and smiled kindly towards her. She was much more peaceful and kind towards people even though she was a low ranking paladin, still working her way up the paladin ranks.
The two of them were a bit shocked to meet someone in particular, who is related to Rita and is a paladin of Satelle. Rita stopped being outright hateful towards her daughter and looked at her daughter with a cruel look more or less meaning that her daughter was saved by the skin of her teeth. As a whole, this was a good thing for the mother in question, she didn’t have to get her rapier dirtied by her daughter’s own blood. Out of everything, the hostilities vanished alike they appeared like a fire in the eyes of her mother Rita burnt out. This definitely strained their relationship as a whole. This is more or less the end of the Doctrine that Rita and Derrick was trying to burn and chill into their daughter. Stasha saw the cooling effect of her yelling at her younger sister and sighed. Rita went off rushing in the same direction that Derrick went and left her daughter with her older sister, Stasha.
All Stasha did was watch over the little girl, which was wielding the signature weapons of the Icebrand & Firebrand. Even though they were still pretty potent with just their basic elemental magic schools of fire and ice. Their signature magical sword school is highly dangerous. ”Good thing I was here or you would’ve been killed by your own mother. The Goddess watches over all her children who wants to have peace and prosperity in their lives. I will talk to your parents later and tell them not to do anything like this again.” She replied truthfully since she knows what her younger sister is capable of, just for the goddess of war. Her eyes were tearful at this reunion of her sister but her sister she knew is long gone and she’s a complete bitch now.
Stephanie was utterly shocked when her aunt told her what her mother was planning to do with her. It terrified her to no end, her parents were telling lies and stuff. She couldn’t stop shaking at the whole ordeal it was terrifying and she just collapsed from the sheer amount of willpower of her mother being that close to her and wanting to kill her. She fainted, more or less signifying her parents were bad people and she had to get away from them. However, that was going to take awhile. After that, ordeal, she was completely out of it and woke up in Sarah’s mansion since her parents are only able to see her only for training and things. She didn’t know that actually happened though, she was confused and in a bed that felt familiar to her. She moved her eyes and noticed Sarah. ”W-What h-happened S-Sarah?” She asked curiously towards Sarah. She couldn’t help but feel something bad happened, but on the nightstand was the Necklace of Unity and Bracelet of Pride.
Sarah gently touched Stephanie’s cheek and looked at her with eyes of pure joy and happiness. However, she didn’t know what the parents had planned for the jewelry in question that was sitting right there beautifully. ”Don’t worry Stephanie. It seems like your parents realized an error of their ways and gave me custody of you for now. But you have to see your parents since they need you to train with the Firebrand and Icebrand. I know you will hate it but we can continue with your magical training without interruptions.” She responded to the question that Stephanie asked terrified and confused. She was highly grateful that she kept in contact with Stasha now.
This was on her 16th birthday, it was a somber time, however, she was rock bottom about every single thing since she remembered the words of Rita’s older sister Stasha that her own mother was going to kill her. She was still terrified of her parents because of that thing that happened to her when she was only ten years old. She was still living in her adoptive mother’s home but she couldn’t handle the torment that was awaiting for her out in the world with her parents still at large. Therefore, she ran away from the safest place in Gondrevil, which was Sarah’s mansion to find something that will outright help her to get away from her parents.
There was many things she wants from a place she will call a safer place than her adoptive mother’s home. She couldn’t be any happier in Gondrevil since that’s where her parents lived. She had to get out and found the only out in a rumor of a black castle, which is called Sanctuary. No one knows where it pops up but it’ll help you to which what you seek the most. And right now that is to get the hell away from her parents who are the cruelest slave drivers to her since they didn’t even treat her a like a kid. They treated her terribly, everything wrong with her is because of them.
She left the home with the weapons she was trained in, the necklace, and the bracelet. She took the basics mostly, which was her own journal with her since she kept it for writing purposes but so far all she wrote in it was she needed to get out of the city of Gondrevil. She is saddened she will have to break the heart of the one who protected her through her nightmares of seeing herself killed by her mother over and over again in a torture chamber. However, this is where her new life begins in the place she will call home away from the people who made her regret living…
Magic:
Water Magic - Stephanie was taught all of her water magic by the mayor of Gondrevil who’s named Sarah Lara Gondrevil. She was in tuned with the magical element of water, mostly because of the affinities of her parents made her the opposite of them. Which in turned has made her an ocean of emotional dilemmas. She has still much to learn about the elemental school of water. Sarah practically helped her every step of the way, throughout her water magical training. Mostly because she was highly frustrated in learning the magical affinities of her parents from the Magical Sword school, which they created. Sarah was highly more kinder in her teaching than her parents.
1. Sorrowful Rains - This magic spell is a drenching of rain, in a large area. When she wants to be left alone and that’s most of the time. However, most people ignore her feelings and causes her to increase the sorrowfulness of the rain, which can sting and hurt someone since it becomes acidic. The acidic part of the Sorrowful rains weakens or damages armor, weapon or shield or the person’s skin. 2. Raging Spout - The Raging spout is a massive burst of water that turns into a water spout that goes up about 30 ft to 50 ft up from where it started. It only activates if she’s angry and that’s most of the time while her other emotions are pretty much constantly flowing. If someone is caught in this spout of water, they will be going up to the height of the spout. Which would probably equal a few broken bones. 3. Pure Water Mimic - The Pure Water mimic is a spell that completely mimics the caster of this spell in every single thing they can do. It is more or less classified as a Water Elemental given a shape, which isn’t like water elementals normally look. The eyes part of the water elemental is glowing in the exact emotion the caster is feeling at the time of casting this spell. 4. Dreadful Barrier of Water - The Dreadful Barrier of water is a spell that literally causes a very thick wall of water to rise up in front of the caster. It’s a rectangle shaped barrier. It’s a fear response to use this barrier against something that she doesn’t want to see, since the water itself is purely black colored water. 5. Bursting Water Prison - This spell in particular allows her to completely enclose someone in water, which will burst if the person struggles or if they don’t struggle either. It’s basically a temporally water prison for a short period of time. It is the weakest spell in her arsenal since she’s too kind hearted to properly to kill someone via this spell. 6. Acid Bolt - This spell is literally a large amount of water turned into a acidic bolt of water, which goes towards a person’s armor, weapon or shield to damage it. It doesn’t do any real significant damage to the wielder unless they want to get 3rd degree acidic burns. The Acid bolt is in the shape of a flower. Magical Sword - The Magical Sword is an offshoot magic school basically created by the Delia-Mira Mercenary Band to augment and empower their primary elemental school affinities of Fire and Ice. It is an offshoot school of the Elemental Magical School and Magical Engineering. Her parents wield the weapons that primarily use these weapons pretty easily and effectively. However, in the hands of Stephanie these abilities are weaker than her primary elemental affinity of water. She hasn’t the right tact or care to use these magic sword slashes properly.
The Firebrand Rapier:
Fiery Stabbing Thrust - “The Fire within me. Will be strong so I shall burn you with the fires of Firebrand!” - This is the basic magical sword technique for the Firebrand. This is the only magic sword technique she learned properly, even though she hates using it. The thing before the description is the proper quote you have to say to use this magical sword technique properly. It unleashes a pretty large fireball, however, the user in question is Stephanie so it’s basically the size of the very first spell you learn in the Fire Elemental School, which is Fireball but weaker.
The additional benefit of using this technique of the magical sword, it’ll activate the flames around the blade and they will be hot to the touch and give burns to the person who attacks her. However, it’s smaller in size to the flames that dance on the sword when her mother is wielding it. It radiates heat instead of an inferno of fire and flame.
The Icebrand Shortsword:
Freezing Slash of Stuck - “The Freezing Chill of Icebrand. Will keep you into place!” - This is the basic magical sword technique for the Icebrand. This is the only magic sword technique she learned properly to use, even though she hates using it. The quote is important or it’ll backfire. It freezes a person it hits in place since it makes them unable to move after the fact. Stephanie’s power behind this weapon may stop them only for around 15 minutes. While her father can keep someone in place freezing to death for longer than that. It thaws quicker since she’s not as cold and calculating as her father.
The benefit of using the technique of the magical sword. It’ll activate a radiating aura of freezing cold to surround the person in. However, it’s usually only radiating enough chill to make Stephanie comfortable.
Skills:
Excels At:
Dual Wielding
She excels at dual wielding the Firebrand and Icebrand respectively. Even though, it took tons of practice to properly use them both, even though she’s not ambidextrous in the slightest. She outright dislikes using her parents weapons though.
Dancing
Stephanie is a natural at dancing. She elegency dance pretty well even though she gets embarrassed when someone sees her dancing and literally compliments her.
Singing
Stephanie has a beautiful singing voice. She can make everyone that hears her sing usually go awe at her singing. The only thing, which her parents enjoy her doing, it helps the Delia-Mira Mercenary Band regain some of their lost morale if they failed a mission or just need a quick pick me up. Even though the Mercenary Band never fails a mission.
Only Good At:
Bartering
Stephanie is only good at this mostly because everyone is afraid of her mother’s fierce reputation. The Firebrand Rapier, which is always on her left hand side. However, the bartering usually can get her big discounts even though she is tired of everyone treating her like her mother. She’s not her mother and never will be. Her smile definitely helps in the bartering between a merchant and herself.
Cooking
She can do this pretty well, only because she was taught by people in the Mercenary Band that weren’t her parents. Her parents didn’t really see cooking as a good profession, while being extremely workaholics on their job of being a leader.
Reading
Stephanie was forced to read by her parents. Mostly because of the fact leaders within the Mercenary must know how to read. She usually reads books that about the legends or places that have places she can get away from her parents.
Writing
Stephanie was forced to write by her parents. Mostly because of the fact, they were forcing her to become a replacement leader if they are ever injured. However, all she does with this is write in a journal she keeps with her at all times. In her words, her parents are horrible parents.
Running
Stephanie has always been good at this since she is a child at heart. And wants to play with people her own age. Even though she hasn’t been able to run away from her mother, who’s terrifying at running.
Extra:
These two weapons are specialty crafted via the best of the best Runic Writing, Magical Engineers within the Delia-Mira Mercenary Band. They were crafted for no other than the leaders of the Mercenary Band to their personality traits. The Cold and Calculating Derrick Victor Delia-Mira and the Hotheaded Firebrand herself, Rita Viola Delia-Mira. In terms of these two weapons are imbue with magical elements that fit their personalities. These two constantly fought before they had a daughter, a child made them less hostile towards each other. It was mostly because of the fact they could force their doctrine on their kid no matter what they say.
These two weapon’s owners have unique history that caused them to become leaders of the Delia-Mira Mercenary Band, which live in Gondrevil. The hot headed Rita conquered the heart of Derrick since they used to be two separate mercenary companies. The First one is called the Mira’s Delphius Mercenary Company. The Second one was called the Cold Hearted Deliarsa Band, who was leaded by a male at the time.
They unified their two companies into one called the Delia-Mira Mercenary Band and dropped the original names. Derrick wanted to lessen the letters in his family’s long history of mercenaries to just Delia, and that’s why Delia is first and the Mira is second. The Exploits of the Firebrand was long and wide in Arminitium as a whole. They know how to get the job done and now the biggest mercenary bands joining up caused a shake up.
The Firebrand Rapier - The Firebrand is magically engineered to only use fire based magical sword attacks on command. You have to say a phrase or quote to properly activate the magical sword slash correctly. If you say it incorrectly it will backfire and cause the entire sword to get so hot to the touch, it’ll be unable to wield until it cools. This is the reason why Stephanie has the same nickname as her mother, because it was forced on her by taking the Firebrand Rapier, but she didn’t want to be called Icebrand either.
The Icebrand Shortsword - The Icebrand is magically engineered to only use Ice based magical sword attacks on command. You have to say a phrase or quote to properly activate the magical sword slash correctly. If you say it incorrectly it will backfire and cause the entire sword to freeze, which in turns make it unable to wield until it thaws. Her father is called the Icebrand because of his personality differences to his wife and even his daughter.
She has in her possession some of the most valued jewelry from the Mercenary Band that always get the job done. Because of this reason alone, they get rewarded in jewelry to fit the hot headed Rita, the Firebrand excellently. And it fits their daughter Stephanie beautifully too. Stephanie wasn’t told the necklace or bracelet she is wearing is magically engineered to do certain things. Her mother was the more crueler of the two parents since she outright disliked what her daughter said to her. In that case, the father was being nice to her.
However, that’s the only nice thing he has done in the whole time as being a father. Gifting her a magically engineered bracelet, which allows her to see emotions but it keeps her from dying of poison. The engraving on the bracelet is two fold, the flower is what gives the bracelet the ability to absorb poison, while the actual word engraving gives her the ability to see emotions.
The Necklace of Unity - The Necklace of Unity is specifically the necklace, which Stephanie wears around her neck to always see her parents in the pendant part of the necklace. The necklace is a highly beautifully expensive silver necklace, with multiple different gemstones and the birthstone of Stephanie in question. She was born in the summer. It has an engraving on it, ’May the Unity of our band of mercenaries, to stay in your hearts my sweet daughter.’ The engraving has a single initial of R. More or less meaning that Rita was the one who gave this necklace to her.
The Necklace of Unity has a pretty much underhanded method to its construction, it was magically engineered to spy on Stephanie’s thoughts all the time by her own parents. It’s kinda obvious what the engraving entails. However, this allows everyone to hear what she is thinking like she’s actually talking but she isn’t. She hasn’t really figured out why people has been talking to her in a weird way.
The Bracelet of Pride - The Bracelet of Pride is specifically the bracelet, which Stephanie wears on her left arm. It has a Flower engraved on it, which beautiful gems and her birthstone as well. It has words engraved on it underneath the flower, they go as follows, ‘My loving daughter Stephanie have pride in our great family.’ The Single initial is that of D. More or less meaning that Derrick was the one who gave the bracelet to her.
The Bracelet of Pride has a pretty much underhanded method to its construction, it was magically engineered to protect Stephanie from poisons by slowly absorbing the poison within her. It’s kinda obvious what the engraving entails. However, it has an odd side effect, which makes her eyes radiate her emotions and allows her to see emotions too.
These theme songs are literally her emotions in the most literal sense. She’s a very emotional kid who outright hates her parents.
