Creating an interest check is a must if you want to get a lot of people quickly and are relatively unknown on the guild. If you're not doing that, you're dooming your RP to get buried and forgotten by everything else. I see you have since made an interest check, and it's a good start.
Sadly, the formatting is horrible.
What you want to do with an interest check is grab any passerby's attention and reel them in before they get away. Having a custom header is good, and starting with a line or two from the RPs mascot is always a fun addition. Unfortunately you then decide to include the rules, and it's not really clear if it's rules for OOC or IC. That is to say if Liseran is talking to our characters, or if you are talking to us. We then have a few arbitrary areas fleshed out, as well as the staff for this arena thing, and everything important related to the setting is hidden at the bottom. This is a confusing mess to navgate, and the information isn't in the order most will want to read it in. It doesn't help that the biggest clue as to what the setting is are two links to two very long posts.
What I recommend is first to familiarize yourself with the guild's code. If I wanted to link you to my RP, Clickable text is
a much more elegant solution than putting the ugly link in a hider. code for that is as follows:
Clickable text here
From there, I would make your interest check and OOC read like this:
Something to grab the readers attention, like the mascot monologing
Description of the Setting, careful to include the player's roll in all this
Finer details about the setting, like types of technology, gizmoes, powers, etc.
Special role play mechanics (if applicable)
Anything that doesn't fit in the other sections
Rules
Character sheet
And don't be shy about using images. Humans are visual creatures, and pretty headers and images often give one the strength to read a paragraph or two more than they normally would.
