Name: Dyce
Race: Zandol
Ki: Yellow
Power Level: Unknown, but ki users can sense that it is high.
Height: 5'10
Weight: 172 lbs
Full Body: Appearance
  • Hydra: Unknown to the characters, Dyce's race possesses the ability to multiply if any part of his body is severed. Once a cell has separated, if it is not destroyed, then it will rapidly multiply and create a second Zandol. For as many cells are separated as many Zandols will be created. Other alien races considered Zandols to be like weeds due to this trait.
  • Bone Blade: Dyce's radius bone extends into a sickle-like blade capable of cutting his enemies. Bones carry cells, so if his blade is severed, then it will create a new Zandol.
  • Annihilation Blast: This attack is signaled when Dyce raises both of his hands into the air. His palms will flatten toward the sky and his energy will be released all at once in a blast so great that it can wipe an entire city from existence.
  • Basic Ki Attacks: They are yellow in color.
  • Ki-Induced Flight: He is capable of flying at mach speeds.

Goal: Purge the planet of weakness to make way for the dominant race.

The television screens flickered and the earth about Parsley City quaked. An entire block collapsed on itself as gray and brown plumes of smoke and scattered debris erupted into the sky like a geyser. Cars drove madly away from the scene. Citizens fled screaming and calling it a terrorist attack. Fire fighters, cops, and ambulances rolled up to the smoke screen surrounding which would later be revealed to be a crater 200 m wide. Helicopters hovered over it, using the gusts from their propellers to clear the dust. On the ground, a news reporter stood before a Parsley police cordon as she exuberantly reported, “This is Jena Summers with Channel 12 News! I am at ground zero of what many in Parsley City believe to be a terrorist attack! We don’t have any estimates on casualties, but behind me used to be a block. An entire city block is gone. The death toll could be in the hundreds folks!”

On the television screen, a dark silhouette rose from the crater obscured by the smoke. Cops began screaming and pointing at it, while curious citizens stood by and gawked. The silhouette looked like a man, but as he emerged from behind the smoke screen, his skin was unlike any human they had ever seen. A mother holding her child pointed and dramatically exclaimed, “It’s an alien!”

The green man hovered above the humans of Earth, his white pupil-less eyes sizing them up before his hand rose to the side of his head. At his temples were two black circular discs. He pressed one of them and an orange visor flashed over his eyes. As he continued to observe the people below, blue flashing digits and symbols in a foreign language appeared before his eyes as the machine scanned the earthlings. His nose scrunched and lips turned up with distaste. Weak… he thought. They’re all so weak. Would this planet be this simple? Could he really conquer it on his own?

The Zandol named Dyce touched the disc to retract his visor. The alien adorned in a foreign blue and yellow armor lowered to the street, having passed over the police’s cordon. The cops whirled, aiming their pistols at him and screamed, “Stay where you are and put your hands in the air!”

Dyce’s pointy ears twitched and he turned a milk-white eye over his shoulder to nonchalantly regard the cops. Jena continued to report, “It looks like the police are planning to arrest the alien! Could it have caused the crater?”

Dyce calmly turned to face the cops who were hiding behind their vehicle doors. Slowly, he started raising his hands in the air. When his arms were completely stretched to the sky, his hands opened and palms turned flat and upwards. A white light began to build, swallowing the dumbstruck cops, the reporter, and the oblivious bystanders. The light erased everyone in its glare until Parsley City winked before it exploded in a fiery dome. The dome swirled and expanded, the released energy absorbed the surrounding light, bathing the region in temporary darkness. In but an instant, Parsley City was no more.

GM Guidance: This is a PVE event. Your characters depending on how adept they are at sensing ki will sense the dramatic spike in power level. They may or may not have access to a television where they can see the destruction of Parsley City. Regardless, Dyce will be targeting every character in this game to do combat with them. The first time your character fights him, they will lose. He will catch them off-guard. This is Earth's first alien attack. Everyone will write their own battle with Dyce. I have listed the extent of his capabilities. Try not to kill your character. They should survive the first bout. Whether your character chooses to pursue Dyce after his ambush is up to the writer. Either way, Dyce will be targeting everyone and everyone will have one initial fight with him. The end goal is to have everyone come together to beat him, and if people accidentally create more Zandols, then to figure out how to destroy him without spreading his cells around. Good luck and have fun!

Clarifications: This section is for answers I gave to player-asked questions concerning this specific event. Dyce will not produce more copies if you make him bleed. There are thousands of blood cells in a blood drop. There would be a ridiculous amount of duplicates. So you can feel at ease. The replication does not happen if you make him bleed. It is only if you sever any piece of him.

Okora smiled as she balanced on her head while spinning around and around, quickly enough that she was nearly a blur. She was able to float slightly off the ground while continuing to spin. "Watch and learn, kids!" She shouted to the crowd that had gathered around her as she floated higher up before finally doing a back-flip while still spinning and finishing the trick by landing on her left hand smiling at the crowd. "Ta-Da!" She called out to the applauding crowd who began putting dollar bills and other small change in her basket.

"Thank you!" She called to the crowd over and over. "Thank you again! Please remember that I perform every Tuesday and Thursday!" She smiled and bowed to the crowd over and over. A sudden shout interrupted her as a shop that had TVs in the window suddenly cut to a breaking news bulletin just as she suddenly shook as she sensed...Something. It felt somewhat similar to when she used a scouter back in the dark days back on Planet Vegeta. But this...she could feel it even without the use of a scouter. What the hell kind of person had this kind of power?!

"-Repeat, Parsley City has apparently been destroyed by an unknown individual. There do not appear to be any survivors! We will continue trying to bring you any news we have!"

Groups of people began to run towards their homes as screaming and shouting began as people began to panic. Okora immediately began to pack up the things she used to entertain people and prepared to run towards her home to grab what few possessions she had on this planet.

She was praying to whoever was listening that she hadn't been tracked somehow but for the first time since landing she felt almost pure terror.

Name: Yang
Race: Earthling/Human
Ki Color: White
Power Level: 910
Location: Open Field; Ginger Town outskirts.
Tag: @Holy Soldier Open

In the empty fields outside of Ginger Town, a martial artist clad in blue was performing a series of intense Katas. Yang Wuxin, though he traveled from town to town, usually preferred to spend his freetime outside of city limits, where the fields were wide, open, and there was plenty of space for him to train without reservations. This was one of those such days, as he performed multiple katas in a blur of motion colored blue by his chosen garb.

"Haaa!!" Yang raised his voice, his ki reaching its current limit as he focused as much of it as possible into a double palm-thrust. The power of the move, combined with intensity of Yang's Ki, caused the strike to produce a small gust of wind in its wake that made the blades of grass bend in opposite directions. But whatever Yang had planned next was interrupted when a sick feeling suddenly jolted through his body, "What the?" he shot his gaze to the Southeast, in the direction of the West Capitol and Parsley City beyond it. At first it looked like nothing, but then a horrific flash lit up the sky in the distance, producing a huge flash of yellow Ki. It had to be Ki, that was the only thing that could alert Yang's senses so strongly from that distance.

"That Ki... it's so monstrous!" he said to himself, feeling his body tremble as a natural reaction to feeling such raw power. He remembered that the Master had once told him stories of Gods and Demons with the power to wipe out entire cities in such displays. But those were only stories! Myths and legends, how could such a horrific power actually exist? In all this, Yang's own Ki had remained raised. Such a thing had to be stopped! Whatever could cause such horrible destruction was a threat that needed to be dealt with! But could Yang's Ki, so meager in comparison, even hope to measure up to such a force?

Yang swallowed hard, and then forced himself to stop trembling. Fear and panic wouldn't solve anything, instead the wise course of action was steel himself and prepare for whatever monster was waiting within the aftermath of the blast. He floated up several feet, preparing to launch himself into full flight, but then his eyes widened in horror as he spotted a figure high above staring down at him! Before Yang could even process this, the alien stranger materialized in front of him. He looked at Yang, his green skin and strange armor serving as dead giveaways that he was not of this world.

"Hmph." the stranger scoffed, pressing some button on his head that caused a strange visor to appear over his eyes. Alien symbols that Yang had no understanding of appeared on the visor, "So not all the vermin on this planet are pathetic after all." the visor vanished from the alien's face and he made a motion that caused cracking sounds to come from his neck, "Looks like I'm starting with you."

"Just try it!" Yang shouted, trying to show some bravado but inwardly he knew this stranger could crush him easily. That was no excuse to not try, at least. Yang launched himself into an attack, attempting a sweeping kick aimed for the side of the alien's head. But by the time Yang's leg made contact, there was nothing there. Instead the alien seemed to materialize directly to Yang's side before thrusting his knee into Yang's gut. Yang let out a painful grunt but suddenly felt something squeezing his throat.

"What's wrong, vermin?" asked the alien, his lips forming a wicked smile, "Trouble breathing? If you need air just speak up." he leered at the Earthling, knowing full well he'd get no verbal response.

Yang struggled to speak, to breath even. If he didn't do something soon he was a dead man. He grasped the alien's wrist, instinctively trying to wrestle himself free, but then had a desperate. He let go of the alien, then put his hands closer to his own face and with whatever breath he could struggle to get he said, "Taiyoken!"

"Taiyo wha-" but the alien was interrupted by a blinding flash of light coming from his opponent's body, "Argh! What the? I can't see!" he let go of Yang, instinctively clutching his face and trying to rub the blindness out of his eyes, "What the hell did you do to me, you scum?!"

Yang coughed and wheezed to get back his breath. He didn't have long, so he had to make this count. He rushed right to the alien and pointed his finger at his forehead, "Dodonpa!" and a yellow beam of superheated energy was produced from Yang's finger tip right into the alien's face at point blank range. Even with such a higher Ki level, a surprise attack like that would make anyone flinch. The alien lurched backward and finally his vision started coming back to him. But to Yang's horror, the alien revealed that even at point blank range the Dodonpa only put a minor scratch on him, one that immediately began healing itself.

"What? What the hell are you?" Yang asked in surprise, but he never got his answer. Even though he only annoyed at the alien at best, this still seemed enough to make him angry. In an instant the alien struck at Yang again, but this time a razor sharp bone extended from the alien's forearms that stabbed Yang right through the left side of his chest. In shock and even unable to speak, Yang's face remained in a horrified expression before the alien laughed a bit and flung the warrior down to the ground.

"For someone so weak you actually managed to piss me off a bit. You should feel pride, vermin. Not many of my opponents can say that." and with that, the alien disappeared into the distance.

On the ground, Yang lay in a rapidly forming pool of his own blood. He would have died that day, and by all accounts he probably should have. But Yang was nothing if not persistent, and his life hadn't quite left him yet. However, he was struggling to remain conscious, and as that began to wash away, the visage of a cloaked old man appeared in front of him before unconsciousness washed over him.

"Reports are coming in that Parsley City has been completely destroyed in a massive explosion! There appear to be no survivors at the moment. Eye witnesses claim to have seen an unknown being was seen leaving the scene of the destruction." Kin had been watching some T.V. in the family room of his home when the program he was viewing changed to the breaking news story. His eyes went wide in horror at the sight of the destruction and thought of all of those innocent people killed in the explosion. When the T.V. screen showed a blurry image of the suspect in the whole incident, Kin got his feet and hurried to his room.

"I'm going to go out for a bit. I'll try to be back before dinner" he said to his parents.

"Okay dear" he heard his mother reply as he hurried into his room. Kin quickly grabbed his costume and then hurried out the door saying a quick goodbye to his mom. He first put on his goggles first and then his cloak. After that he used his mutant powers to lift off into the air and fly at high speeds in the direction of Parsley City. Kin wasn't sure what he was going if he ran into the culprit for the destruction, but he wasn't going to just let some maniac get away with destroying an entire city full of innocent people.

His mind was racing with what his plan of attack would be, this foe was clearly more powerful than he had seen before since it had just destroyed a city.

"This is going to be one crazy fight" he said to himself and accelerated his flight speed. It was only after a few minutes of flight that he saw something feint in the distance that looked to be headed his way. On instinct he used his Electromagnetic Vision and his eyes glowed a bright green. His ocular technique showed him that some being was headed his way. He clenched his fist and suspected that this was the culprit.

With a minute the being slowed down to a stop in front of him and Kin stopped as well. The being looked an alien out of a sci fi movie and Kin gulped a bit.

"Are you the one who destroyed Parsley City?" he asked trying to not sound afraid, he was trying to be a hero after all. The green man just smiled at him and crossed his arms.

"And what if I am?" he replied.

"Then I will have to take you down and bring you to justice" Kin replied and the alien laughed at him.

"A weakling like you? I'll show you real power!" he said and got into a fighting stance. Kin knew that he would have to fight and charged up an attack. He decided that he would have to make the first move and unleashed a powerful Electromagnetic Wave straight at the green man. It hit the alien and created a powerful blast. There was smoke and Kin expected to see a harmed alien in front of him, but to his horror he saw that the green man seemed to have taken no damage at all.

"Was that it? Pathetic. My turn" he said and moved at speeds quicker than Kin could react. The next second the alien's fist had hit him right in the gut and Kin felt intense pain like he had never felt before. The impact was strong enough to cause him to lose focus of his flight and he felt to the ground. He was unconscious by the time he hit the ground.

Name: Erika Beryl
Race: Bio-engineered Human
Location: Between West Capitol and Ginger Town
Power Level: 910
Tag: Open @Double

"Thch, that monster lit up Parsley City like it was a barbecue, West Capitol was lucky it decided to skip town." Erika Beryl cursed as she zipped across the landscape on her police cycle. It hadn't been that long since she had seen the destruction on the television, that alien was way worse and stronger than any terrorist she had dealt with. As soon as the information had spread, West Capitol had been put on high alert and Erika had been scanning the skies religiously in order to intercept the enemy before it could make it to the city.

Sure enough she had spotted the monster traveling through the air but instead of bee-lining for West Capitol the creature instead had decided to travel North toward Ginger Town. Fearing for the safety of Ginger Town Erika had hopped onto her air cycle and engaged in hot pursuit. The mountains between the city and the town had slowed her down a bit so she had lost sight of the monster for a bit. Erika started using a pair of electronic binoculars to try and find him again, then she saw something in the distance, something yellow, and it was coming closer fast!

"Blast it! I don't like terrorists with surprises waiting for me!" Erika quickly veered to the side as the Ki blast ripped into the spot she would have been if she had kept going straight. Zigzagging she avoided the shots and quickly hid the bike behind some rocks and rushed out to meet her opponent. The strange alien gracefully descended down on the ground and stared at the police officer.

"I had noticed a fly earlier but it appears it has some sense of combat, I'll just dispose of you quickly as your power level appears to be non-existent. I'm sure this will be less interesting than my previous encounter." The green alien looked bored as it readied to fight, taking up some sort of fighting stance she didn't recognize.

"Meh, I thought little green men were supposed to be charming but you're just some kind of ugly toad ain't ya?" Erika glared at the alien, cocked her shotgun and fired for center mass. The monster blocked the shot with a hand and stepped forward while Erika retreated while firing.

"Such a pitiful weapon, with such resistance it will be easy to take over this planet." Dyce continued forward while swatting the shots out of the air without the slightest bit of harm coming to him.
"Sure, sure, but I'd watch your foot if I were you!" Before the alien could respond the ground underneath him erupted from the ki mine Erika had placed while she had been retreating. Dirt and smoke covered the spot of the explosion completely covering the alien in it. "Did that work? Why do I have the feeling it did-urgh!" Erika found herself being lifted off the ground by the alien who had rushed out of the explosion zone with only the slightest of dirt smudges on him, his hand was gripped around her throat. Erika dropped her shotgun and tried to pry his hand off with her own.

He glared at her as she struggled to kick him off and keep him from suffocating her but his grip was strong. "I actually felt that worm, let's see what you've got." Pressing a button an orange visor appeared and took note of her strength. "Nothing much but I am surprised I missed it as I was passing by, I guess that martial artist just made much more of a racket so I noticed him first."

Her vision was starting to go, the monster was too strong to pry off with normal means, which meant she only had one chance to get away. As he observed and talked, she reached into a vest pocket, gripped her special knife, boosted it with cycling Ki and lashed out at the alien. The knife slashed through the wrist of her attacker, causing him to release her and grip his bleeding wrist reflexively. The cut hadn't been at the right angle to cut it off so the cut was shallow but the damage was done and had surprised the alien, but now was not the time to be proud of herself, she quickly retrieved her shotgun and bolted for cover.

"Crap, crap! I was hoping I could stop him on my own but I was too naive. Got to shake him off for now until I can find a strategy that can actually kill this guy! I just hope he doesn't blow up more cities cause I couldn't stop him!"

"Not too bad for an insect, but an insect none-the-less." It only took a moment for the bleeding to stop and then he pointed a palm toward Erika's fleeing figure. "Begone!" A ki blast erupted from his palm and slammed into her. The alien watched as the figure flew up into the air and then crumpled onto the ground motionless. Seeing no reaction after looking for a few moments the alien scoffed and flew away.

Sure that he was gone, Erika groaned as she got up from playing possum. "Good thing that thing's too cocky in its own abilities, if it had decided to make sure I was dead I'd be an angel right now." Partially her body armor, but mostly she had managed to set up a weak energy barrier with her hands just in time to soften the blow. She wished she could have used it at full power but in order to make sure the enemy was fooled she had to let at least half of the blast actually reach her. Dang did that hurt though!

Erika managed to stand up, her clothes torn and dirty from the one-sided battle, thankfully it seemed she was the only thing he had been interest in as she was able to find her police cycle and start it up. "It's probably no good, but that monster did mention something about a martial artist, I should see if they managed to survive. They should be closer to Ginger Town if my hunch is correct." Taking out the binoculars Erika started scanning the plains as she rode out.

If they were still alive, she would do her best to get them the help they needed as quickly as possible, which would mean quick emergency care and a fast trip to the nearest doctor, which would mean ginger town. "If I can still save a life today then at least I'll have been able to do some good rather than just getting my ass kicked and letting the bad guy get away."

Name:Okora
Race:Saiyan
Ki Color:Blue
Power Level:910
Location:Ten miles outside of Capital City
@Holy Soldier

Okora decided to forgo grabbing her possessions after a few moments consideration and waited until she got away from a number of people who were busy running around in a panic and a number of looters. She took off into the sky and shook her head. She didn't want to abandon the people who she had come to know and actually like but there was no choice. If there was someone from Planet Vegeta coming after her then there was a good chance that everyone near her was going to die, of course there was also a good chance the planet was going to be destroyed as well.

She was ten miles away from Central Capital when she suddenly felt a massive power signature approaching her at high speed. Okora stopped and dropped to the ground and attempted to take cover among the trees and boulders that littered the open fields.

Okora looked up into the sky and saw a figure floating in the sky above her. She paused for a second in confusion. Whoever this person was, it most certainly wasn't a Saiyan. It looked nothing at all like one of the race of creatures she so despised. She rose up into the sky and stared at the figure with a frown.

"So, I take it you blew up Parsley City, huh?" She asked carefully. The unknown figure simply smiled an evil smile at her and extended his left hand towards her. Okora's battle skills were rusty, she had thought she was done with fighting after leaving Planet Vegeta. A moment later Okora was forced to dodge to her right side as a barrage of punches tore through the air where she had been a moment ago.

Holy...Damn he's quick! She thought as she tried to open up some distance between her and whatever the hell this was. As if the alien was reading her thoughts, it grinned. "Nice dodge. Really stinks for you that I wasn't even trying. It seems like everyone on this planet is incredibly weak."

Okora could feel her blood beginning to boil at the creature's words. She didn't want to fight. She didn't want to kill anyone. But this thing had already destroyed a city and it's entire population. "I don't like fighting and I don't like killing but I'm going to make an exception when it comes to you." She growled. "You wiped out an entire city so in return I'm going to grind you into dust."

The Saiyan woman charged towards the alien and unleashed a barrage of punches and kicks that the alien was easily able to dodge. Not a single punch or kick landed. "So weak." The alien said casually as he continued to dodge. Okora's eyes widened with rage. She put on a burst of speed so she was nearly face to face and unleashed a barrage of Ki blasts at point blank range.

That's not good. She thought as the smoke cleared and the alien was revealed to be completely unharmed. There were a few scratches on his armor and that was about it. The alien was smiling. It was not a pleasant smile. "Is that really the best you could do?" It asked with what seemed like genuine curiosity that was tinged with mockery. Okora clenched her teeth and let out a growl as she held both of her hands out in front of her and a massive ball of Violet energy began to form. "LET'S SEE HOW YOU LIKE THIS!" She angrily shouted as she unleashed the energy blast. "MEGA EXPLOSION!" The alien's eyes widened for a brief moment before another smirk appeared on his face as he took the blast straight to the chest. The alien was laughing with what seemed like genuine delight as it extended both of it's hands and managed to push her attack directly back at her.

Oh...This is gonna hurt.

Okora didn't even have a chance to dodge or try to redirect the attack away from her before it slammed into her and slammed her into the ground. Okora screamed in pain as the attack continued to push her into the ground. She could feel her bones straining under the pressure and her body being burned by the attack. After a few moments, the ball of energy finally faded and Okora was left out cold in in the crater caused by her own attack.

"That was the best you could do? I don't know why I expected more." The alien sighed heavily and flew off into the sky once again, most likely assuming the woman who had challenged him was dead. After a few minutes, Okora's eyes slowly began to open. She could barely see the alien with how far off he was in the distance but she knew she had to put aside the pain she was feeling. That thing had wiped out an entire city with no provocation. After a few moments, she unsteadily rose to her feet and mentally assessed her condition. As far as she could tell, she didn't have any broken bones for which she was thankful, she had a large number of burns on her body and she felt weak after getting hit by her own attack. She took a deep breath and slowly rose into the air and began to follow the massive ki source.

So, I'm no match for him one on one. Well, I guess it's time to work on a plan. No time like when your rushing to your death to come up with a plan. She thought grimly as she took off into the sky.

Name: Ryuhei Takagi
Race: Human
Ki Color: ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇
Power Level: 910
Location: North Capital
Tag:@Holy Soldier Closed

“Master Goichi!” Ryuhei threw open the sliding door to the training room where his master was currently teaching an intermediary class and rushed into the room. He’d left a visible trail of open doors and disgruntled bystanders as he’d raced through the dojo you find the old man. “On the news! Parsley city. It was destroyed!”

He needn’t have hurried. Judging from the way his master was staring at the wall with a hard expression on his face, unerringly looking in the direction where the alien aggressor has landed, it was clear the old man had already detected the huge spike in energy as Dyce had wiped out the city. “The whole city? This ki is greater than any I’ve ever felt but…” Suddenly, the old master’s eyes widened in horror, his face turning pale as he turned to face the groups of students in the room with him. “Leave here, immediately. Ryuhei, escort them out and do not return until I tell you to.”

Ryuhei wanted to argue, to ask why, but Goichi’s expression brooked no argument and the student hurried to comply with the order. He corralled the confused and worried students out of the room, leading them out of the building and into the street outside. He tried to keep everyone together, but as a few minutes passed with everyone waiting around some of the students heading home, assuming training was over for the day. It wasn’t like Ryuhei could tell them any differently to make them stay, when he himself had no idea why Master Goichi had sent them outside.

He was about to go back into the dojo and ask his teacher what was going on when one of the students caught his attention by pointing to the sky. Looking up Ryuhei saw a streak of yellow energy approaching the city from the direction of Parsley city, growing larger with every passing second as it seemed to angle its approach directly for them. Before Ryuhei could shout a warning the streak suddenly dove down and struck the roof of the dojo, crashing through it with little effort as a deafening explosion rang out from inside. What students remained chose to run away as Ryuhei ran back into the building, disregarding Goichi’s orders as he made directly for the training room where he had last seen the old man.

The scene he found inside was like something from a nightmare, because surely this must be a dream. The alien from the news, the one who had just wiped out an entire city in one blast, stood in the middle of the dojo with his back to Ryuhei. There was a hole in the ceiling from where the intruder has burst into the room and a pile of rubble was under the alien’s feet. In one outstretched hand the alien held up a person, bloodied and battered, gasping for breath as a green-skinned hand grasped his throat, was Master Goichi.

“Master!”

The alien turned to face him, taking his eyes off of his master and looking over his shoulder to find the disturbance. Blank white eyes pinned Ryuhei to the spot as a chill went down his spine; even without the ability to sense Ki Ryuhei could tell this was an opponent far beyond him, as if seeing the blast he had unleashed on the doomed city wasn’t clue enough. Even so, to defeat Master Goichi so quickly? It had been only seconds since he had arrived and already his Master was this injured.

Maybe it was too soon to count his Master out just yet however. As soon as the alien took his eyes off of him the old fighter took his chance, slamming a hand down on the elbow of the arm holding him and forcing the intruder to release his grip. Master Goichi dropped to his feet and immediately stuck out with a one handed Ki Flash, a burst of energy erupting from his palm to scour the alien’s armour. The green-skinned figure jumped back from the attack, unharmed aside from a blackened mark on his armour.

Unperturbed, the aggressor calmly looked down at the scorch on his armour as Ryuhei ran to his teacher side to see if he was ok. A trickle of blood ran down the side of the old man’s mouth before he wiped it away with the back of his hand, but otherwise his injuries seemed superficial. “I told you to stay outside.” Ryuhei flinched at the admonition, but held his ground. “No matter; it’s too late now. Just try not to die if you insist on fighting.”

“Interesting.” Both Goichi and Ryuhei froze as the alien spoke in surprisingly good English. They both turned to watch as the alien wiped at the black mark on his armour with his hand until it was gone, leaving not a scratch behind. Those cold white eyes lifted to regard them again, pausing on Ryuhei for a fraction of a second before dismissing him entirely and focusing on Goichi. “My scouter wasn’t broken after all; you do have some fight in you.”

Taking the alien’s distraction as a chance to attack Ryuhei dash forward and kicked high at his opponent, his leg coming around in a standard roundhouse kick aimed at the intruders head. It looked like it might make contact until the alien all but disappeared from sight, reappearing a moment later underneath Ryuhei as the alien swept his supporting leg out from under him. The young martial artist was send spinning through the air, but he didn’t stay that way for long as his opponent jumped above him with a leg raised above his head and brought it down in a powerful axe kick that drove Ryuhei into the ground.

His ribs creaking under the force, Ryuhei expelled all of the air from his lungs as he was left gasping for breath. Above him the alien raised his foot again in preparation for another kick before Goichi struck him with a jumping side kick, forcing the intruder back and giving enough time for Ryuhei to scramble to his feet. “Are you okay?”

“Yes, I… LOOK OUT!” Summoning his Ki, Ryuhei coated his arm in a protective layer of it before batting away a glowing yellow projectile the alien sent towards them, redirecting it to destroy the wall instead.

Once again the alien looked unbothered by Goichi’s attack, now even sporting an almost amused looking grin as he regarded them once more. “My name is Dyce. I’m the being who will conquer this pathetic world, just as soon as I purge it of the weaklings who call it home.” For the first time since Ryuhei had arrived Dyce took on a fighting stance, apparently ready to start fighting them properly. Ryuhei’s arm still stung from the Ki blast he had deflected and his ribs still ached from the kick. This guy was going to conquer the entire world? It wasn’t so hard to believe with power like that. “Once I deal with you, I’ll be one step closer to my goal.”

Defeat them? Had he come here because he detected Master Goichi’s power and saw him as a threat?

The alien tensed and Ryuhei prepared himself for an attack, but even though he expected it, Ryuhei could still barely track Dyce as he approached. The would-be conqueror seemingly appeared before them and threw a haymaker as Goichi, the experience fighter blocking the attack by crossing his arms over his chest and taking the hit at the point where his arms overlapped. Even so Goichi was pushed back a few steps and Dyce used the opening to spin and strike at Ryuhei with a spinning backfist. Ryuhei dodged the attack by leaning backwards, the fist sailing within an inch of his face, only to be caught in the stomach by an unexpected side kick. The young martial artist crumpled around the attack and was sent flying away to crash into the wall of the dojo, momentarily winded and stunned.

When he composed himself enough to raise his head it was to see Master Goichi trading blows with Dyce, both fighters blocking and dodging attacks thrown by the other in an at first glance even exchange. On closer inspection however, it was clear that although they appeared even Goichi was having a harder time keeping up and was beginning to show signs of strain while Dyce didn’t appear to be putting in much effort at all.

Dyce dodged an attempted low kick by jumping away, charging a yellow ki blast in one hand and throwing it at his opponent. The ball of energy streaked for Master Goichi’s face only to be blocked at the last second, but the small lapse in concentration this created was what Dyce was after; with his opponent’s vision blocked the conqueror charged forward, spinning into an elbow strike aimed at Goichi’s heart as a short blade extended from Dyce’s elbow. A shout of warning from Ryuhei was the only think that saved his master’s life as the older fighter managed to dodge slightly, the blade piercing his chest but missing his vitals.

Now recovered from the kick and subsequent impact with the wall, as well as being more than motivated by seeing his master almost killed, Ryuhei rushed towards Dyce and shoulder tackled him away from Goichi as the alien pulled his bloodied blade free. Badly wounded, Goichi fell to the floor as his student took over the battle, trading blows with his more powerful opponent with much less efficacy than Goichi himself managed. It was only by coating his arms in a protective layer of ki that Ryuhei was even able to deflect or block the punches and kicks Dyce sent his way and much like his master it was clear that the only reason they were trading blows at all was because Dyce was taking it easy on him.

Ryuhei dodged a particularly slow punch to his head and threw one of his own at Dyce’s chest, at the same time the alien brought up his knee and struck Ryuhei in return. Both fighters pushed off of each other and separated, taking a moment to either catch their breath or, in Dyce’s case, casually wipe some dust from their lapel. Ryuhei was the first to move again, quickly followed by his opponent; Dyce lashed out with a punch but Ryuhei surprised him with a snap kick, infusing his lower leg with his ki as he struck the alien just below his sternum with a textbook Mae Geri. Dyce actually flinched from the attack, showing the first real signs of pain as the ball of Ryuhei’s foot, empowered with ki, sent a lance of pain through his torso.

Staggering back and holding a hand to his middle, Dyce opened his mouth to say something only to be interrupted by another attack. Ryuhei tucked both arms in at his sides as he charged a huge amount of ki into each, before throwing them forward and unleashing a short ranged but intense blast of ki at his opponent.

“You may ha-“

“Ki…. FLASH!”

The bright burst of red ki consumed Dyce entirely, the blast washing over him for a full second or longer before Ryuhei ran out of steam and stopped. In its wake stood Dyce; his armour was a little scuffed, he was bruised and bleeding in places, he was even breathing a little heavily, but he was still standing. And he was angry.

“You insolent PEST!”

Ryuhei offered no defence as Dyce dashed forward a buried a fist in his stomach, simply folding over the attack. He was drained after giving that last attack his all, not to mention the multiple attacks he had taken so far; the Ki Flash was his last, best shot and it had failed.

Dyce raised a leg up before bringing it down on the back of Ryuhei’s head in another axe kick, driving the young martial artists face towards the ground and the alien practically stomped his head into the ground.

The world went black.

The clouds covered the sky like a quilt, shaking their light feathery flurries over the valley. Nestled in the snow were small round houses with buttery lights peeking through the ice that piled upon their window sills and gathered in mounds at their foundations. People adorned in furs and thick coats busied the white streets only the children finding the weather pleasant enough to have snow fights.

Seated at the window of one of the homes was a young girl with blonde hair and blue eyes. A pink wool sweater embraced her warmly and blue jeans road her slender legs into white, fuzzy snow boots. Her fingers were curled, her chin rested upon her knuckles as she stared through half-lidded eyes at a couple passing her window arm-in-arm. A deep sigh left her lips and formed a white circle of vapor on the glass.

Sitting back in her chair with a pout shrinking her lips, the lovely blonde known as Lena whined, “He’s been gone for days.”

“I’m not complaining,” came her father, Tobias. He was at the stove stirring a pot of snow buffalo stew. “These past few days have been ni~ce and quiet.”

Lena crossed her arms upon the window sill and buried her nose within her sleeves as her father continued, “It’s nice being able to cook a small soup without someone criticizing my cooking. There no meat! Bear man eat like rabbit!”

Lena giggled at her father’s impersonation of Grisha. Sitting up, she raised her arms, curling them in a flex as she deepened her voice, “Meat make Grisha big and strong! More meat bunny man!”

“If I put in anymore meat, then the soup won’t be a soup. It’ll be a pot of meat.”

“You cry like baby! Grisha hate noisy baby!”

“You really need to teach him some more pronouns.”

“Lena try, but Grisha always gone,” Lena joked on a laugh.

Her face glowed with infectious laughter that tickled her father into joining in.

Mount Tengoku

The snow fell thickest in the mountains. A white mound in the form of a seated man stirred as clumps of snow and ice cracked free from his crown. Ice fell away from dark eyes that stared tensely into the horizon, overlooking the ice caps that bowed before the heavenly mountain. It hadn’t been the frozen scenery that he regarded but beyond the horizon was a foreign and great power that made the hairs of his tail stiffen. His brown tail unraveled from his waist and flicked in the air, ridding its pelt of ice. A low growl hummed from the snow-covered warrior’s throat before he uncrossed his legs and rose to his feet. Snow rolled from his body to pelt the stone at his feet.

Thrusting his arms out, he shrugged his shoulders and enveloped his body in the brown cape that hung from the steel mantle on his shoulders. The power level put the warrior on edge, and hopefully, whoever possessed it wouldn’t be drawn to the little village below. Crossing his arms, the guardian, Grisha, nervously monitored the unknown foe. He tensed up when the greater power started hurriedly in his direction. Grisha's nose wrinkled like the maw of a threatened beast. Immediately, he started to think about Lena and Kousetsu Village. If he remained where he was and confronted the enemy, then they would surely be safe. Not once did the warrior think about defeat. He would fight this foe until his last breath to keep Lena and his village safe.

Patiently, Grisha waited. His strong arms were still crossed beneath his cape and his tail sought comfort about his hips. The enemy had arrived as a speck in the distance and barely a second after, his approach was brought on by an enormous blast of air pressure. As the creature halted abruptly before the warrior, the air pressure struck Grisha like a typhoon, blowing the White Devil Crown from his head and tearing the cape clean from his mantle. Grisha, however, didn't move a centimeter. His arms had remained crossed and his frown remained hardened on his mug.

The creature, Dyce, grinned sinisterly at the Saiyan. "If you had been toppled by my approach, then I may not have taken you seriously, bravo."

Grisha said nothing as his dark eyes burned holes into the green man's. Dyce's smile never thawed as he went onto explain, "I am Dyce, one of a race known as the Zandol. I was sent here to judge the power of its inhabitants, but so far, I have found none that would prove to be a hindrance to our reign..."

Dyce eyed the warrior curiously, "Unless of course, you prove to be a challenge?"

The silence that stagnated between them eventually grew on the alien's nerves. Did this warrior not speak? His grin drooped into an irritable frown as he growled, "Does the Zettle worm have your tongue or does my presence frighten you so much that you are speechless?"

Dyce grinned condescendingly at the Saiyan, and Grisha finally spoke, "Grisha confused. Grisha never seen green vegetable speak or walk."

Grisha's hand went to his head as he began to scratch his scalp at this baffling discovery. "Plant have arms and legs like Grisha..."

Dyce's eyes widened in shock. "Plant? You mean me?"

Then in Grisha's mind he began to imagine a cucumber sprouting arms and legs and dancing about.

Shaking in anger, Dyce growled, "I am no vegetable you fool! I am a Zandol warrior! My people have destroyed thousands and conquered millions! This pathetic planet is but a stone in our path!"

The alien paused in his monologue of his nation's glory when he noticed the Saiyan wasn't paying him any mind. Grisha's palm was pressed against his forehead for trying to imagine a vegetable suddenly growing arms and legs was giving him a headache. Dyce could hear the warrior mumbling to himself, "What Lena say if Grisha bring home plant? Lena like veggies but be too big for pot. Perhaps Grisha chop to pieces?"

Snarling, Dyce growled, "It is I who will be chopping you to pieces!"

The kick had come so fast that before Grisha knew it, he was rocketing into the frozen sky with a terrible ache in his gut. The cucumber had appeared over top of him and dropped upon his shoulders, dropping him toward the rocky earth like a missile. An eruption of stone and ice arched into the air as a ten foot crater formed at the impact. The Zandol hovered over him and started to rapidly stomp against Grisha's back. Dycen suddenly stopped, grasped the back of Grisha's neck, and tossed him into the air over his shoulder.

"I don't have time for the likes of you!" Dyce roared.

As Grisha flew like a rag doll through the air, the warrior opened his eyes, his teeth grit in his pain. He saw Dyce holding his hand out in his direction. Immediately, he felt a searing heat against his skin and then after, everything went black. The Saiyan detonated in an orange flower of fire and smoke. His armor fell in pieces of melted shrap as the warrior's limp body went tumbling lifelessly down the mountain side.

Dyce exhaled his anger on a relieved breath before a smile returned to his face. He couldn't believe he had let himself get so worked up over nothing.

"Pathetic."

Dyce had remained on the mountain, staring down the cliff side hoping that that hadn't been the end of the duel. His last opponent had at least managed to fight back. Sneering in disappointment, Dyce sucked his teeth and pressed the button to activate his ki-sensing visor as he started to comb the earth for another adversary.

There has to be a challenge somewhere, the Zandol thought in frustration.

Slowly, Dyce levitated a few feet into the air unaware that he was being watched and turned in a circle until he faced the south. There were three signatures in the distance that twisted the alien's smile.

"Three versus one; this is going to be interesting," Dyce said to himself before he erupted in a yellow energy and took off like a rocket in the direction of North Capital.

Kosetsu Village

The door to the little round house opened and Lena sat up in her chair, raising her head from the window sill to see a familiar silhouette in the door.

"Grisha?" she queried in her uncertainty.

The warrior stepped across the threshold, the interior light bathing him and revealing his half-naked form. What remained of his clothes were some burnt and torn pants barely hanging onto his hips and the charred briefs that were seen visibly through the gaps in his trousers. His tail was singed, his short, black hair in disarray and he smelt of fire. The Saiyan hadn't come to the house alone, behind him were a string of young ladies, standing in his shadow and admiring him secretly from behind.

Lena's blonde brows shot upwards at the guardian's appearance and she asked in concern, "Grisha, what happened to you?"

Tobias turned from his cooking and was almost thrown back by Grisha's appearance. He was practically naked, and in his house in front of his poor, innocent daughter! He thrust the soup ladle in the incompetent warrior's direction.

"Put some clothes on!" he exclaimed.

Grisha stood there silently, staring back into his mind as his defeat played over and over again. His brows furrowed angrily when Lena asked him what had happened. The incident still gave him a headache even after its end. Clenching his fists in anger, the warrior growled, "Green Man hurt Grisha. Grisha fell from mountain. Mountain took Grisha two days to climb, and Grisha no finish him! How Green Man fly but Grisha can't? Green Man talk too, better than Grisha."

Baring his teeth in his anger, the Saiyan growled before raising his fists and bellowing, "GRISHA WILL AVENGE HIMSELF AND KILL GREEN MAN!"

Grisha's pants and underwear popped free from his hips to plop to the floor at his feet and Lena's mouth fell open in speechlessness. The girls behind him froze in shock and Tobias's ladle bobbed up and down between Grisha's crotch and face as his mouth fell open. His eyes darted to Lena whose face was glowing so red it lit the entire room. Grabbing his apron, Tobias dropped the ladle and rushed over to Grisha to smash it against him. Poking his head passed the warrior's hip, the father screamed, "There's nothing to see here!"

Pushing the door closed, the girls remained standing in flushed shock.

"Lena, well, you see, uh..." How was a father supposed to explain what her virgin eyes had seen?

Lena had a hand pressed to her face and she fanned at her father dismissively, "You don't have to explain. It's all right."

Her inner demon giggled impishly, When Grisha was in a coma, I got to see as much of him as I wanted, hee, hee, hee!

The father stared up at Grisha who was staring at him as though HE was awkward. Looping the apron strap about the warrior's neck, the father stepped back as Grisha's gaze lowered to the garment.

"Why give Grisha apron? Grisha cook nothing."

"You're naked you imbecile!" Tobias barked.

Lena frowned at her father, "Daddy don't yell at Grisha. He only means well."

Tobias faced Lena and argued, "Means well? Coming in our house half-naked, looking like he played with fire and lost, means well?"

Upon glancing at the pot of soup, all thoughts about his revenge were forgotten as Grisha questioned with raised brows, "You make soup for Grisha?"

Tobias's head snapped so hard over his shoulder that he could have broken his own neck. "Oh no! Not this again!"

Lena laughed at her father's and Grisha's antics. Despite Grisha's appearance, things seemed back to normal, although the warrior's disheveled appearance and his mentioning of a "Green Man" bothered her. He never was good with details. It was another something they would need to work on.

After Lunch

After a dull meal—there wasn’t enough meat—Grisha had started racing to North Capital. His powerful legs moved in a blur, carrying him up mountains and across the water without sinking. From a small secluded island in the north, Grisha made a beeline through canyons and between cliffs to North Capital.

From the very beginning of Yang's frightful encounter, he and his monster of an opponent were being observed. The cloaked figure watched the short and brutal fight, their expression remaining masked by the shadows of their hood. He instinctively shifted forward an inch when Yang attacked first, almost as if he considered offering his aid. But he remained grounded, hidden in some shadows within the crevices of a few boulders sitting near each other. His lips moved from under the hood, silently mouthing words as a reaction to every move Yang made. Were they praise? Concern? None but the man himself would ever know.

He took cover, shielding his eyes from the inevitable dust cloud formed when Yang's near-lifeless body crashed into the ground nearby. When he was certain the alien creature had departed, the cloaked man finally left his spot in the shadows and approached the fallen warrior. He wasted no time speaking to Yang, as any lack of action in this very moment would cost the young man his life. Instead the cloaked clapped his hands together to produce and loud and surprisingly powerful thud. His fingers twisted and pointed into a symbolic form as a white aura of Ki began to faintly wrap around the cloaked man's body. Then came words, chanted in a soft but powerful tone, nine chants in total.

"Rin... Pyō... Tō..." with each chant and each hand symbol, his aura of Ki glowed just a little brighter. But it also slowly moved, "Sha... Kai... Jin..." the energy of the man's Ki moved down his arms and into his hands, and its hue changed slightly more as it did so, "Retsu... Zai... Zen!" with the last seal and chant, the Ki had gone from white into a silvery blue color. The man placed his glowing hands upon Yang's body, letting them linger over the places where he had been run through by the alien's bone blades. The man's Ki seemed to spread out of his hands and blanket itself over Yang's body, and as it did so the mortal wounds he'd been inflicted with miraculously began to close themselves. The cloaked man was, in fact, healing him!

Yang's eyes shot open, and he gasped in a deep breath of air. He instinctively moved to cover his wounds but discovered that they were no longer present, "I... recovered?"

"Of course you recovered." said the man, who finally reached up and pulled off his hood to reveal himself, "Because I healed you."

Yang widened his eyes, somehow he was both overjoyed and ashamed to see the man before him, "Master!" he cried out, then gave a bow, "How did you know...?"

"I observed the entire encounter. You are quite fortunate, that wound would have killed you had you remained unattended."

"You were watching me? Then why did you not do anything? Together we could have-"

"It would have made no difference." Feng took a deep breath, feeling almost ashamed of himself, "Had I stepped in we both would have died, simple as that."

"Then, then what do we do? How can we stop that monster?" Yang demanded, still believing his Master would surely know of a way.

"We cannot do anything." Feng said, correcting him, "You were no match for that stranger, and I'm simply getting too old to be of any help in battle anymore. But monsters like that have a habit of attracting enemies. If he continues to attack and slaughter, there will be more who will make a stand to defeat him. Our only hope is for the World's greatest warriors to band together to stop him. But I think I need to rest a bit. I was forced to use the Sacred Seals in order to heal you." Feng sat down on the ground with a tired-sounding sigh.

"The Sacred Seals..." Yang clenched a fist. The Sacred Seals was his Master's trump card. They were like a meditative mantra that gave one a far stronger grasp on controlling their own Ki, and even using it to assist or hurt another in the process. But he also knew the Sacred Seals came with a steep price, the technique was incredibly exhausting even for the most seasoned master. Supposedly it would also shave entire years off of one's very life-span should they rely on it too heavily. Yang had attempted to learn this technique before during his training, but so far he was still unable to actually use it.

"Ahem!" Feng cleared his throat rather loudly, "It's alright! We mean you no harm!" someone had been watching them from a distance, and Feng had apparently been aware of them from the beginning.

Erika Beryl finally found who she was looking for, but instead of just finding a bloodied fighter dying out on the field there was an old cloaked man and a perfectly fine looking martial artist. What the heck!? That stupid alien was gloating about how he had messed someone up and here I find him completely fine? Guess there could be another corpse around here but I doubt it as I can tell form a glance these guys know some moves."

As Erika sped on her bike toward them, the old bag-of-bones suddenly shouted something about meaning no harm to her, to which Erika had to reply. "Oh please! If anyone would be in danger it would no doubt be you morons!" Course there was little basis for that statement but it was in her nature to be confrontational with most people. It only took a few more moments before she ground to a halt nearby the two. The old man was all cloaked up so it was hard to tell what shape he was in but that polished dome-head looked to be in perfect shape.

"Sheesh, I come all the way over here cause that lima bean was bragging about crushing some fighter but here I find some muscle-head and his out-of-breathe grandpa. Well, admittedly I'm glad I won't have to be digging any graves, they'll certainly have enough of that going on in Parsley City after that monster blew it up." Erika got off her bike and took a closer look just to make sure they didn't need medical attention, but the fact was she probably needed it more than they did.

"Not sure what you guys are gonna do, but it's my duty to go after that beast. I can take ya to town if ya want and you can get help there." As she made her offer suddenly a phone line in her air-cycle started going off. With an annoyed expression she went back to her bike and picked up the receiver. "Officer Beryl speaking," She started to say until she was cut off but a loud and somewhat shrill voice.

"YOU BLOODY IDIOT! THE HECK WOULD I DO IF YOU HAD JUST OFFED YOURSELF GOING AFTER THAT MONSTER UNPREPARED! THINK OF ALL THE BLOODY TIME AND EFFORT I PUT INTO YOU OFFICER BERYL!" Erika winced and put the receiver away from her ear so she wouldn't go deaf. "Well to heck with it, you're alive I see but I'm sure you took a beating. There will be a drop-off at Ginger Town for you to pick up with some healing serum and some real ammunition. Sheesh going after a high-powered individual with normal shotgun shells, and turn on the visual so I can see your condition!"

Erika groaned but did as she was told, the screen popped on in her dashboard and middle-aged, bi-spectacled, female doctor appeared on the screen. She was thin and had sharp features, especially her eyes which looked like they could fire lasers at any moment. With red-hair and aristocratic features she certainly managed to grab attention even her her white lab coat. This woman was her 'creator' Doctor Tread.

"You look like you got the living daylights knocked out of you, which I suspect is pretty accurate for what actually happened. Well you should heal up quickly once you get a shot though, who are those two behind you?"

"Ehh, they're survivors of an attack, I think."

"They sure don't look like it."

"Ya I had the same reaction but didn't get to ask cause your sour-puss of a face just called."

"Humph, maybe they could teach you a thing or two then. Anyway, make sure you pick up that drop off before you do anything reckless."

"Ya ya, well you heard the Doc, so as you can see I'll be heading to Ginger Town first, so anyone need a lift? Or I can just leave ya out here to walk to town if you're feeling up for a hike."

Feng stifled a chuckle at the lady's rather... spirited reply. He didn't say anything though, mainly due to Yang being quick to shout back at her.

"Watch your tongue! Master Feng is the head of the world renowned Crane School of Martial Arts! He could crush us both if he truly wanted!" he clenched his fist, seemingly angry at the woman but really his frustration stemmed from his earlier humiliation. The woman just happened to be along in time for it to be directed at her, "And do you not see the blood on the ground where I was lying? Or the bloodstains on my clothes? I would be dead if Master had not used his secret technique to heal me!" he wasn't wrong. There indeed still was a deep stain of blood on the ground, and there was still bits of bloodstains on the parts of his Gi that the alien's bone blades had stabbed through.

Feng cleared his throat, finally tired of the shouting, "Peace Yang, she is a stranger and knows not of us or our discipline. Pardon my disciple, he still feels the sting of his defeat and it stokes his anger. He does not mean you any disrespect."

Yang closed his eyes tightly, grumbling through gritted teeth.

While Yang did not pay much mind to the sudden conversation between the stranger and the doctor who contacted her, Feng on the other listened intently. When their communication ended he looked up from his sitting position at the girl, "Young lady, am I to understand that you plan on seeking that monster out?"

"Her? Fight that thing?" Yang asked, almost scoffing. If he couldn't defeat that creature than some police woman like her stood even less of a chance.

"What my disciple is trying to say, is that two together fair better odds than one who fights alone." he sent a side glance at Yang to silence him before the pupil could object, "So allow Yang here to accompany you. That monster will not be beaten easily without a healthy dose of teamwork."

Yang stayed quiet. He wasn't much for fighting on teams, but he would obey his Master's wishes. But rather get on the girl's bike, Yang simply floated up a few feet before offering a smirk, "As if I need to walk or ride. Don't worry about me, I'll keep up with your bike just fine on my own. In fact you're the one who might have trouble keeping up with me." he waited for his new-found companion to take off on her bike before shooting after her in the air above.

As for the Master, he noticeably stayed behind, never having gotten up from his spot on the ground, "Young people these days... I'll catch up after a good meditation. Good spot for one, I think..." he said to himself under his breath as he closed his eyes and let his aura of Ki take on a faint white glow.

Kin groaned as he began to stir from his unconsciousness and slowly opened his eyes. The pain in his gut was massive and just moving caused him great agony. After a little while he found the strength and resolve to pull himself up from the ground and stumble around a bit on unsteady legs. Kin had never been beaten this badly before and he knew that whatever that thing was, the alien was earth's biggest threat. Kin soon felt his strength begin to return and was able to take off back into the air and looked around to see if he could get an idea of where his foe went.

He then remembered the direction that the alien was heading when he had encountered the being and soon realized that it was headed in the direction of Ginger Town. He took off in the direction he was guessing where the alien was headed. He wasn't sure if this was the right way to go, but he had to try since it was clear that the alien did not come in peace. He managed to pick up his pace and eventually his eyes spotted what looked like a small group of of fighters. He guessed that they had to have also encountered the alien when he got closer and saw that they looked to have gotten a big fight.

He dropped down from the sky and landed in front of Erika and Yang and Feng. He decided to make introductions quickly so they didn't think he was just an enemy trying to trick them.

"Hi. I take you at take it you three also encountered that insanely powerful alien? I'm going after him and I would like your help in stopping him" he asked them in a serious tone. He hoped that they would be interested in receiving help in dealing with this threat to the world. The next time he would meet the alien he would be ready and he wanted to have allies in this fight.

Erika had to admit, she had wondered about the blood but without any obvious wounds she had assumed the blood had come from another source. Dang he had lost a lot of blood then, whatever mojo that old man had done was pretty effective. Course, now the old man looked like he might keel over and die at any moment.

Apparently the Crane School master wanted them to team up together, which certainly wasn't the worst idea in the world. Like with most people she met though, she had already managed to tick chrome-dome off so cooperation was probably not at the forefront of his mind at the moment. He was also being a little snot about not having to hitch a ride.

Erika looked back at the old man who had assumed a meditative stance, apparently he figured he'd be fine where he was. "Right...well I'll count on you to take care of yourself ya old raisin. By the way, since that was all your blood I guess that means I'm the only one so far that's actually managed to inflict any real damage, just food for thought." It really wasn't much of a brag though considering it had only been a light cut but they didn't know that.

She started revving up the engine when a new person appeared right in front of them, asking them out of the blue to join them to slay the dragon, or whatever. "Ok...well shut up scrawny and follow along. Before anything else happens I need to pick up some stuff. Oh look here it comes!" Erika pointed to what looked like a small jet, but turned out to be a special drone, headed straight toward Ginger Town. "Once I'm all set we can fry up some vegetables."

Location: Ginger Town

It didn't take very long for the group to make it into the town itself, where there were some confused citizens who had watched as a large metal drone carrying a suspicious looking package had landed on the main street. "Don't worry folks just some government business, I'm sure it won't blow up or anything." Erika looked bored as she 'assured' the people everything was safe. Quickly she cracked open the package and removed what was inside.

The good doctor had given her four syringes of healing serum, a rather strange, purple liquid that didn't look safe for consumption, and a case of enhanced bullets. The healing serum would increase her body's natural healing processes by about a hundred-fold, so in about an hour or so she would be in perfect health. Wasting no time she plunged a needle into her arm and took a shot, then placed the empty syringe back in the package.

"Hey kid, if you need a shot better take one now, otherwise I'll just be putting these things away." She said to the young man who had most recently joined the group. Next was the new shotgun shells, these had been enhanced with ki so that the shells would be able to punch through the barrier a body naturally produced with it's own ki. While normal shells were fine on most opponents the problem was that those who learned how to use Ki could protect their own bodies with it, if someone was caught off guard they could still work but as long as an opponent knew they were coming a regular bullet was like throwing a rock at a brick wall, the shells needed that bit extra to provide the penetration power to get through their defense.

Erika quickly started replacing her old shells with the new ones. "I'm sure Doctor Tread will be able to get a fix on that walking petredish." As she said that her screen lit up on the dashboard, it showed a map with a red dot showing where Dyce was heading toward next. "Oh great, it's heading right toward North Capital. We'll just have to hope it doesn't nuke the place before we can get there. Ugh, it's just not giving us any time to really come up with an actual plan besides just ganging up on the prick."

Okora let out a mutter of frustration as she tried to keep going. The battle with the alien freak had taken more out of her then she thought it had. She could barely keep going and to make matters worse she had somehow lost him. All she was getting was a vague sense that he was heading north but right now she could barely keep herself in the sky. She tried to see if she could get a more direct sense of where he was going but instead of getting a more direct sense of where the alien was going she was picking up other higher than average power levels that were extremely close. They weren't as high as the alien but they were almost exactly as strong as her own

What the hell is going on now? Why are all those power levels gathering in Ginger town?

She gingerly lowered herself to the ground near where she was sensing the power levels and cautiously approached the small group of people.

"So...Anyone else here going after the alien that blew up Parsley city?" She asked hopefully. Finding others with the same strength as her was a game changer, maybe she wouldn't have to fight that monster alone again when she caught up with him. "I tried fighting him myself earlier and that didn't work out as well as I hoped it would."

Ryuhei opened his eyes to see the familiar ceiling of the dojo above him, albeit with a not so familiar hole in its centre. His head felt like it had been split by an axe, an intense pain radiating from the back of his skull all the way through to a point behind his eyes; he raised a hand to his face, pressing a palm to his forehead as he tried to sit up.

“You’re awake.”

He resisted the urge to turn around, knowing it would only cause him more pain. It was easy to recognise the voice of his master even without looking to see his face anyway, the deep bass tones being a continual presence in his life the past few years. Pulling himself up into a sitting position Ryuhei winced as he felt his ribs complain, along with several smaller twinges of pain along his arms. He felt like he had been through another kumite and lost. “What happened?”

“We were attacked.” Now he did turn to face his master, finding the older man also sitting down and looking just as bad as he felt, if not worse. A set of bloodied bandages were wrapped around his middle, a trickle of dried blood stained the left side of his mouth and his arms and torso were covered in bruises. Even more than that, the dojo they were sitting in was completely trashed; the hole in the ceiling was the worst of the damage by far, but there were small craters and cracks in several places on the floor and a few large dents or holes in the walls as well. “Give it time. It will come back to you.”

They weren’t alone. Several of the older and more experienced students were in the room with them; he just hadn’t noticed them at first. They walked around, picking up and clearing out rubble or stood attentively off by Goichi’s side; there were a couple standing near him as well, both sending the occasional worried glance his way. Presumably there were there in case it looked like he needed help.

Crossing his legs, Ryuhei placed an elbow on one knee and rest his head in the palm of his hand. He closed his eyes and tried to think of the last thing he could remember. The news report, Parsley City, Master Goichi sending them outside, the streak of yellow light hitting the dojo, the fight, Master Goichi being injured…

“That alien. What happened after I was knocked out?”

“Nothing. He just left.” Goichi began to shift, trying to find a more comfortable position, only to wince in pain as he began to cough harshly. One of the students standing near him rushed to his side to help, only to be pushed away; Ryuhei could see red stains on his hand as he did so. “He must have thought us beaten or as good as dead and saw no reason to finish us off. After he left the student returned and patched me up. What a terrible teacher I must be; none of my students can follow even a simple order to stay away.”

Ryuhei couldn’t help but grin even given the dire circumstances; he might have tried to put up a front of being annoyed at their disobedience, but Ryuhei could tell that his master was grateful that they had returned as well as being pleased that they had cared enough to do so. His mirth faded quickly however, as his thoughts turned back to Dyce and what the alien had said. “Dyce… he’s not going to stop with just Parsley City. He’s going to wipe out everyone.”

“I know.”

“I can’t let him do that.”

“…I know.”

There was a pause as both student and master put of saying what needed to be said next.

“I won’t be able to help you in this state.”

“I know. I’m doing it anyway.”

“You’re not strong enough to beat him by yourself. You’ll lose.” It didn’t need to be said what losing meant in this situation.

“I know… I’m doing it anyway. It’ll be the same result if no-one stops him anyway; I want to at least give it my best shot.”

Goichi nodded approvingly before lapsing into another silence. After a couple of minutes the older martial artist raised head and turned to face north. “He’s coming this way again; he’s been flying all over the place, probably eliminating other strong fighters like us. If you’re going to face him, now is your chance. With any luck you won’t be alone.”

From a distance, black pillars of smoke could be seen rising from North Capital, signaling the Zandol’s destructive presence. The North Capital Police cordoned off five blocks, surrounding the green alien as he dealt with a group of street punk vigilantes. Their power levels hadn’t been as high as the last string of fighters he had encountered, but they still proved to be above the common human cockroach.

The blond-haired man had fallen to his hands and knees. His entire body was shaking beneath his bright-red gi in fear. His blue eyes were shrunk in fearful hysteria. “He…he killed Ryo,” he whimpered.

A young girl with two buns on her head, raced over to the warrior and rested a hand upon his back, “Kin! We have to retreat.”

Closing his eyes, Kin bore his teeth in anger. “I can’t! I must avenge Ryo.” He then thought, I can’t believe Ryo is dead…

Dyce’s eyes were lowered to the couple and half-lidded in boredom. Another worthless city…how many craters would he have to make before the planet’s champions finally came to face him? This couldn’t have been Earth’s mightiest. It was pathetic. The green alien had been hovering above the two vigilantes. “Save your breath,” he scoffed at Kin. “I’ll just make another swimming pool.”

The Zandol raised his hands above his head, palms turned up toward the blue sky, when suddenly a shadow appeared before Kin. He slightly raised his head to frown at the darkening circle. A giant of a man then landed before him. The asphalt cracked as a crater imploded the street where the man had landed. The blonde fighter and his girlfriend found themselves wailing as they were blown backwards by the source.

Dyce’s eyes widened slightly as he gazed upon the familiar, ape-like fighter. His hands closed into fists and slowly they lowered to his sides. “Aah, so you survived,” the alien uttered in what could have been in genuine amazement. “How embarrassing…I should have made sure you died on that mountain.”

Grisha stood boldly before the alien. His own hands were clenched into massive fists and his lips were turned downward in a stern frown. His nose was wrinkled like the snout of a lion, his beady black eyes shining with his anger. He didn’t wear his white devil helm or his brown fur cape. The warrior resembled a barbarian, wearing a white worn cotton tunic, brown trousers, with steel kneecaps and snow boots. Behind him, his lengthy brown tail flicked and curled with his irritation. Suddenly, his lips rolled back, presenting his teeth in a bestial display.

“Rrr! Green Man hurt Grisha!” Raising his fists, he threw them down and stomped his foot, causing the crater beneath him to expand wider with a spark of asphalt crumbs. The Saiyan’s short, black hair was standing on end, raised like the hackles of a beast as he roared, “GRISHA HURT GREEN MAN BACK!”

Dyce smirked. “You’ll be dead before you can lay a finger on me.”

The green man seemingly vanished in a blur and reappeared before the giant with a gray, bony sickle protruding from his forearm. The blade bit into the Saiyan’s side, sinking in about half an inch before the blade felt sudden resistance. Dyce’s eyes widened in surprise before he noticed during the brief hesitation, Grisha’s muscles swelling beneath his shirt with bulk. The flimsy shirt had suddenly tightened about the giant’s torso. His right arm was cocked back into a fist that he launched as though spring-loaded into the face of the surprised Zandol. The impact was strong enough to snap Dyce’s head backwards. Grisha charged forward, keeping his fist against Dyce’s face. He drove Dyce’s head toward the ground until a small pot hole formed in the road where it had struck. Dyce's body bounced off the street, and Grisha swung his left foot in a round kick, connecting with Dyce’s side so hard that the alien near snapped in half. Flipping through the air like a boomerang, Dyce’s body struck a parked hover car. The car folded like aluminum around him before its sophisticated energy source caused it to detonate like a bomb.

Lowering his foot, Grisha cracked a satisfied grin—vengeance! Dyce shot like a rocket from the wreckage, his body leaving black smoke trails. Two yellow spheres appeared in his hands before he lobbed them rapidly at Grisha like baseballs. The Saiyan raised his forearms before his face to guard against them. The yellow spheres popped destructively against his arms as Dyce followed up the distraction with a kick. Grisha’s stance, again to Dyce’s surprise, suddenly lowered. Dyce’s kick met Grisha’s forearms and the Saiyan grasped one of his ankles.

Nuh-uh-uh-uh~!” Grisha childishly exclaimed. The same old trick wasn’t going to work on him twice. Like a sledgehammer, he swung Dyce over his head and slammed him face first into the ground. The street shattered like glass about the alien. Dyce groaned. He couldn’t believe what was happening!

“Aaah!” Dyce cried as Grisha lifted him again over his head, slamming him down upon his back. Baring his teeth, Dyce once more thrust his hands at Grisha, peppering the large ape. Grisha released him as he brought his arms before his face protectively.

Dyce fled into the air above him, chest expanding and sinking with his disturbed breaths. I let this go on for too long! he thought. The alien shot his arms into the air, palms up. He was prepared to detonate the entirety of North Capital.

GM Note: Everyone is free to NPC Dyce. This is your comeback fight. Everyone will get a chance to fight or even tag-team him if you plot and collab it with each other. Just communicate! We'll go with the flow from here on until Dyce is beaten. Also, yes, Kin and Ryo were a satire of Street Fighter. So was the Chun Li knock-off.

It was a strange thing, to be joined so suddenly by another. The stranger looked to be a little younger than Yang himself was, and yet was clearly capable of flying and likely a number of other fighting methods. It seemed the Master was right after all, the alien monster was already beginning to attract a number of enemies that were starting to gather together. Regardless of their backgrounds and walks of life, these three people so fundamentally different from each other had been brought together by a threat from beyond the stars. It sounded like something out of some old fairy tale, and yet here it was actually happening.

"If you can help us then our greater numbers might give us a better chance. I'm Yang by the way." he said but only briefly. Time was of the essence and they had to get to Ginger Town. Erika was supposed to pick up an important package that would help them, but Yang suspected they wouldn't be able to linger for long. Even from this distance he could sense the monster was further to Northeast, practically as far as the North Capitol. That meant they could have another destroyed city on their hands if they did not make haste.

When the intrepid trio reached Ginger Town and Erika's package retrieved, Yang glanced around himself at the town. Apart from the tension caused by reports of what happened in Parsley Town, Ginger Town was otherwise peaceful and normal. A bit of realization hit Yang like a bag of bricks. This wasn't some tournament fight or training session to see who was the strongest. This was a genuine battle for the safety of the world and everyone living on it. He'd only now realized that this was the first time he'd ever took part in a battle with such stakes. Losing wasn't about needing to train harder or being eliminated from a tournament... it meant death and not just for him, bur for everyone. While in those thoughts Yang's senses suddenly screamed at him.

"In North Capitol!" he suddenly shouted, jerking his gaze in direction. Just as he had sensed, smoke was billowing up into the sky from the distance, "He's in North Capitol! We have to hurry!" Another had seemingly joined their ranks, further proving the Master's words to be true. But there was no more time for pleasantries. The now-four of them had to get going in whatever method was fastest for them. Yang himself shot up into the air and let his Ki rocket him toward North Capitol at full throttle. Hopefully the others would also be able to keep up in a similar manner.

North Capitol could be found just past a large mountain range. As it came into view, Yang steeled himself once more. He couldn't shake the memory of his first encounter, but at least able to keep reminding himself that he was not alone this time. Hopefully that would make all the difference. It had to, otherwise they were all dead. At last, the alien menace came into view and Yang's eyes widened in horror. They'd raised their hands in preparation for a Ki attack! Something had to be done or it would be Parsley Town all over again.

"I won't let you!" Yang yelled out instinctively as he closed the distance suddenly putting his hands up next to his face after he was face to face with the alien, "TAIYOKEN!"

"Well there goes baldy, but I must say I have to agree time is of the essence. Now let's see, I know the bad doctor installed that little button somewhere. Ah here it is!" Erika looked around her bike's dashboard until she found the little red button underneath the wheel. With a single press, the bike suddenly grew two rockets from the side.

"Time to take down a murderer." Revving up the engine she gunned it and sped after Yang, the rockets blasting her through the sky.

Now there was a downside to the rockets, it was pretty hard to control and once started was almost impossible to stop, but this was actually the plan. Giving it all she got she saw Yang had managed to get there first and blinded the alien.

"Grahhh! Blast you pest!" The alien screamed but did not stop trying to prepare his attack, "I'll blast you along with the entire city!"

"Heck no you're not you dumb vegetable!" Erika jumped off the bike and the alien managed to regain just enough sight to see the police bike ram right into him. Not prepared in the least the bike rammed Dyce into the ground and exploded in a fiery inferno. The alien emerged from the blast but this time not without a scratch, the crash and the explosion had made burn marks over a good portion of his body.

"Yet another pest shows itself before me again!" Erika swore she could see a blood vessel pop on the alien's forehead as it recognized her form earlier.

"Remember to never leave a job half-done you trash!" Erika once again took her shotgun from over her shoulder and started firing. The alien smirked and tried the same little stunt he had done before but to his surprise, the shell completely blew up on impact with his hard skin, making him take back his shot up hand and start to dodge rather than attempt to deflect. "Heh, not so confident now are ya? Don't you want some more shells?" Erika kept firing until she was out of ammo and quickly started rearming herself while keeping an eye on her opponent.

"I'll incinerate you all!"

"Ya, na I highly doubt that since I don't think you'll have the time to try."

Okora was flying at extremely high speed towards North Capital and she finally located her target just as she approached the city. He was fighting with two of the others she had met up with and...there was no way in hell that could be a Saiyan! Okora forced herself to keep to the task at hand despite her revulsion at seeing someone that so resembled one of her own race.

Focus on the task! She mentally shouted at herself as she did her best to increase her speed. Hopefully this time the bastard would be so busy fighting the others he wouldn't sense her coming in. She saw the not quite human woman named Erika using her bike as a weapon and a sudden idea came to mind. Her face was beginning to hurt as she continued to increase speed. This was most likely going to hurt her a bit. But not nearly as bad as it was going to hurt that green bastard.

"Hey! Screw-head!" She shouted as she closed to point blank range. A split-second later, the alien looked up at her just in time to see the bottom of her foot as it slammed into his head at high speed. The alien was taken by surprise by the attack and he slammed into the ground but not with enough force to break his neck or cripple him. Okora could feel that she had broken her foot with the high speed attack.

This moron doesn't know when to die! Plan B it is then.

"You will suffer for that! This entire world will suffer!" The alien shouted as it began to rise to it's feet just as Okora managed to charge up her signature attack and pointed the ball of energy at his slowly rising body.

"Die!" She snarled as the Alien stared at her with dawning realization. "Mega Explosion!" She shouted as the ball of violent energy slammed into the alien who let out a howl of either rage or pain or hopefully both and was blasted back a short distance.

Okora turned to look at Erika and smiled. "I got the idea for the head kick from you. Thank you for the inspiration. Sorry about the bike by the way." She said as she launched herself at the alien once again.

Name: Kin Zoku

Power Level: 910
Location: Ginger Town then North Capitol
Tag:@IceHeart@Double@Chev@Holy Soldier@King Cosmos open

Kin wasn't what to make of his new companions, but he didn't have the time to evaluate them as people since there was a more pressing threat to attend to. He looked and took off into the air towards Ginger Town at high speeds. The girl known as Erika said that there was equipment for her at the town and said that it would be helpful in their fight against Dyce. He wanted to go into a battle with as good of a chance to win as ever so he was fine with her making a quick stop in the town. He did roll his eyes when she referred to him as scrawny, he was probably way more powerful than her in his mind since he didn't have a way to sense power levels.

Once at the town she got her equipment and offered some type of healing serum to him. He had never anything like it, but he didn't say no and used to heal up. It worked pretty well and he felt things begin to heal up pretty good. She then told them that the alien was headed towards North Capitol. Kin then saw that they were joined by another fighter, this time it was a girl with what looked like a monkey tail. This was strange, but there wasn't time to say anything and kin immediately lift off into the air and fly in that direction. He didn't want anymore innocent people dying, not after seeing what happened to Parsley City.

He flew at incredible speeds in the direction of North Capitol, not really caring if he had left his allies behind, he was focused on stopping the alien menace from destroying another city. His companions got to the city ahead of him and he saw that there were several fighters engaged in combat with the alien menace. Kin this time would be ready for the alien. He saw the alien raise his hands in the air and he assumed it was preparation for some kind of attack.

He watched Yang get in the alien's face at high speeds and then unleashing a blinding flash of light to distract the creature, which succeeded. Erika then rammed her motorcycle into Dyce causing an explosion that smashed the alien onto the ground. Then the monkey tailed woman attacked the alien and Kin decided that it was his turn to attack the creature.

He raised his right hand up to the level of his face and it began to glow a bright silver. Buildings began to shake as his electromagnetic powers pulled large steel pilings from the structure. Once he had four of them floating in the air above him, he was ready to make his move and had the first one shoot towards the alien. When it came to Dyce the steel piling ensnared the alien like a python restraining his entire body below his head. Kin then closed his hand into a fist and the piling began to tighten around the Dyce, causing him to grunt in pain.

With his hand Kin then made a forward motion and the other three pilings slammed into Dyce at incredible speeds causing the alien to go flying through a building. Kin then made the ensnared Alien soar up high into the air and then made him slam back down into the concrete street with a loud boom causing the asphalt to crack and the ground to shudder. The smoke obscured his view of the crater where the alien had landed, but he used Electromagnetic Vision technique to check the electromagnetic energy of his foe. Kin was fortunate that he had chosen to use the technique because he saw Dyce break free of his restraint and come flying towards him at insane speeds.

"Your head shall shatter against my fist!"

The alien shot towards him like a missile with his fists drawn back in preparing to land an insane punch aimed at Kin's face. Kin stretched out his arms and as Dyce came within mere feet of him he shouted "Almighty Force!"

Dyce's punch made contact with a powerful wall of invisible force and it created a massive shock that shattered the glass in windows, cars and signs all around. The force of the shock wave made Kin fly backwards and slam into the side of a building. He had managed to protect his back from the impact through the use of light repulsive forces, but the impact still knocked the breath out of him and caused a good deal of pain.

He pulled himself away from the building and landed on the ground. He was breathing heavily and his mind was running through the different ideas on what to do next. His attacks had done some damage to the alien, but it wasn't enough to take put him down for the count.

"Not bad for a weak earthling, but you'll have to do better than that to beat me" Dyce spoke to him and Kin stood his ground focusing his attention completely on his opponent.

"I still have some tricks to show you. I also have the numbers on my side" Kin replied with a nervous smile as his red cloak blew in the wind.

"Ha! You could have a hundred of your weak little friends and I would still be able to destroy all of you. You won't be leaving this city alive earthling!"

Kin kept his unease hidden under the guise of a neutral and controlled face. He wasn't going to give Dyce the satisfaction of looking afraid or nervous.

"You talk a big game, but can you actually win this fight?" Kin said in a slight mocking tone. The alien then growled and shot a ball of energy at him. Kin launched into the air dodging the attack and hoped that his allies had more tricks up their sleeves to take this alien down.
