Simply put this is a retelling of the Young Justice TV show, only in a different universe where the Avengers and the Justice League are all together as the later. Here the Justice League was founded through a joint agreement with Superman, Captain America, Flash, Iron Man, and eventually Batman. They’ve collectively worked together over the years and now the next generation of heroes are arriving looking for respect.

For the tone of the RP, while I certainly would not dream of getting rid of the serious tones of the Young Justice series. I do want to bring in a bit more of the light hearted aspect that the comic book series had. Still action packed, but not too overly serious.

For right now people can go ahead and say what characters they would like to play as. Keep in mind though I'll be picking the best ones, so just because you make the first one doesn't mean you'll get the character. As for the characters themselves, any young hero of the Marvel or DC universe will work. You can edit the original character, but don't just change them around completely, or just change them for the sake of changing them. If you want to take a normally older hero, and make them younger. That's alright as well, unless they're needed as is for the main plot. Which isn't going to be very many outside of the major characters.

Abilities: A young man of Atlantean blood, Garth is able to breath perfectly well underwater, resist much lower temperatures, take more punishment than a normal human, and has much more strength. However with his time in Atlantis Garth has been able to learn and understand his Atlantean sorcery skills. His very skilled in hydrokinesis, produce hard water conducts of a more simple nature, generate electricity. However his most powerful is an ice generation that is known as ‘power of the tempest’. Its a very exhaustive power, and can be damaging to even Garth.
Personality: Mature, caring, calm
Brief bio: A baby was once found just off the shore of Cocoa Beach, Florida, sickly and near the brink of death. When a couple found the child, they immediately took the child to the hospital and after deciding and agreeing to it. Adopted the child, naming him Garth. The young boy grew up constantly enamored by the ocean, every time he was found missing from the home, he’d turn up in the ocean playing in it. When Garth grew older, he discovered through classmates surfing, and it quickly became his hobby and source for entertainment in the small town. He was accepted in the community, even with the strange circumstances surrounding his adoption, as well as his very unique eyes. However his parents had him tested and he came up negative on having the X-gene. Plus considering he didn't know why he had them, it made it hard to really hold it against him.

The years went by and slowly Garth kept feeling his connections to the waters grow stronger and stronger. Beckoning him almost to return… home. Garth tried to fight the feelings for years, convinced he was crazy. Finally one night Garth surrendered to the feelings, going out to the ocean by himself and never returning. The town gave up after searching for him for months, assuming he drowned.

Realizing immediately he could breath underwater, Garth swam feeling himself get pulled in a particular direction. After a few days of swimming non stop Garth found himself in Atlantis, his real home. The kingdom however was in terrible shape however, ruled by a tyrannical leader named Black Manta, Garth ended up by chance meeting Aquaman. A man like himself who grew up on the surface world and is now trying to reclaiming his rightful spot as the king of Atlantis. Garth joined him in his fight and eventually they were both able to fight Black Manta off with the help of a mysterious third figure named Kal’dur. Whom neither trusted but proved his loyalty before vanishing again.

To show his appreciation to Garth for his bravery and help. Aquaman bestowed Garth not only his own alias in Aqualad, but a rightful in his mind spot in the kingdom as Prince of Atlantis. The two continued to work together protecting Atlantis from threats while Garth studied in his spare time Atlantean sorcery. As well as sometimes spending time on the surface world with his adopted parents as a means to forgive them for running away those years ago… and go surfing.

Abilities: Simply one of the fastest people on the planet, only equal to The Flash, Quicksilver, and Kid Flash. Able to run at top speeds of the speed of sound (761 mph), Tommy’s body resists the effect of friction, reduced oxygen, and kinetic impact when running at those speeds. He can also generate hyperkinetic vibrations that accelerate the molecules in matter, causing any solid object he directs his vibrations at to explode. He is also able to accelerate his molecules (or even those of small groups of people) and vibrate fast enough to pass through solid matter, such as walls.
Brief bio: Born on Feb 2nd, 1998 at 10:23 pm in a Manhattan hospital. Tommy Shepherd became the only child of a wealthy estate. However right from the start difficulties arose with Tommy and his parents, as they were incredibly busy and never seemingly gave time to Tommy, only when it suited their needs like parading him around in public or at a gathering. He grew detached from the incredibly quickly and really ended up a bit of a reckless young man. Someone who although never felt like he had a purpose, always had almost too much confident in himself and overestimate of his own ability.

By the time Tommy turned 13 he seemingly felt like the world around him was slowing to a crawl. It was just a feeling he had at first, however as the years passed the feeling grew inside of him and eventually even started to happen. He finally realized that it wasn’t the world slowing down, it was him becoming faster than it. Realizing his newfound power Tommy initially just dismissed it as something that wasn’t particularly useful. It wasn’t until he ended up inadvertently using it to save someone he realized a real genuine purpose behind it all. Finally with some feeling of purpose in his life Tommy continued to use his powers in secret as a help to anyone or anything he came across. Never one considering the danger or his personal safety. Even when he would be warned he’d refuse to listen, a trait he routinely has used with people. Still, Tommy’s mind is set, and God help anyone who tries to sway him otherwise.

Real name: Laura Kinney
Alias: X-23
Age: 16
Appearance:
Costume: Laura doesn't really have a secret identity and thus doesn't wear a costume.

Abilities:
-Healing Factor: A mutant power that allows X-23 to heal an accelerated rate. This allows her to regenerate damage and even destroyed tissue at far greater speed and efficiency. She can reattach limbs and even regrow an entire arm. They also grant her foreign chemical immunity to an extent (massive strong doses can still effect her) and disease immunity.
-Super-humanly Acute Senses: Her senses can be compared to certain animals, she can see in the dark and track people by there scents. She can also hear at much greater distance and hear sounds that regular humans couldn't.
-Bone Claws: X-23 has 2 Bone Claws that come out of each of her hand and one blow claw that comes out of each of her foots. These claws are lace with Adamantium, making them effectively unbreakable. Do note however the rest of her bones are not and thus the rest of her bones can be broken.

Living Weapon: Although not a power, she is highly trained in Covert Ops, Tracking, Martial Arts, Acrobats and is Multilingual.

Personality: Martyr, Quiet, Angry

Brief bio: X-23 was created by a top-secret program trying to replicate the Weapon X project. Unable to create a male clone of Wolverine, they created a female clone of Wolverine by the suggestion of Doctor Kinney. During X-23 years in the program she was trained to be a ruthless killer with no sense of identity. She was sent on missions to kill targets that the program had been paid to eliminate. In order to make sure she would always kill her target she was given a trigger scent, when exposed to a trigger scent it would send her into a killing frenzy. Every mission they gave her, every time limit they gave her, she beat.

Doctor Kinney saw X-23 as her own child and thus set in motion a plan to free X-23 and become a family that would live a quiet life. She managed to free X-23 and met X-23 outside the facility. Yet just as they were about to escape, X-23 killed Doctor Kinney as the director of the program had sprayed the Doctor with the trigger scent just before the escape.

Now finally free and able to think for her own, X-23 went to find the man who she blame responsible for her creation, Wolverine. She track him down and when he was finally alone she engage him in combat. Using tactics and her speed she manage to defeat Wolverine who had been holding back. Wolverine explained how he had received a letter from Doctor Kinney and that he was now the only family she had. As X-23 began to calm but before she could finish talking to Wolverine she was taken down by Captain America who arrested her.

She was interrogated by Captain America and after revealing her past and everything she had done, Captain America wanting her to face justice decided to let her go, knowing she was just be used as a weapon by S.H.I.E.L.D.

X-23 joined the X-men for a bit but Wolverine realizing she didn't fit in and needed better role models called in a few favours.

Real name: Robert "Bobby" Drake
Alias: Ice-Man
Age: 15

Brief bio: Robert "Bobby" Louis Drake was born in Floral Park, Long Island, New York to William Robert Drake and Madeline Beatrice Bass-Drake. Bobby first discovered his mutant abilities at a young age when he found himself unable to stop feeling cold and shivering.

A school bully named Rocky Beasely had convinced his gang to attack Bobby and Judy Harmon, his girlfriend at the time. Bobby panicked and encased Rocky in ice, saving Judy, but revealing his abilities to his peers. Believing Bobby to be a dangerous mutant, the people of his town, Fort Washington, organized a lynch mob. The mob broke into the Drake household and overpowered them. The local sheriff noticed that things were getting out of hand and took Bobby into custody for his own protection. The story made its way to Professor Charles Xavier, founder of the X-Men.

Xavier sent Scott Summers (Cyclops) to recruit Bobby. After Bobby turned him down the two mutants got into a brief scuffle before the mob caught up with them. The mob was stringing Scott and Bobby up to be hanged when Professor X used his telepathic abilities to erase their memories. Grateful for saving his life and yearning to be like Scott, Bobby enrolled in Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters and become the second member of the X-Men. There, the X-Men were tutored by Professor X and trained in the use of their powers in the Danger Room. As 'Iceman' Bobby learned to control his abilities in order to protect a world that feared and hated him for being different alongside Cyclops, Angel, Beast, and Marvel Girl.

Iceman quickly befriended Beast, however, he remained self-conscious regarding the fact that he was the youngest member of the group. Iceman's lighthearted approach to disaster marked him as the comedian of the group, and eased tension among his teammates. Bobby's rudimentary control of his abilities caused his appearance to be snowman-like, rather than the almost transparent ice version of his later years.

After it was revealed that Professor Xavier lied to his students, having faked his death, Bobby angrily quit the team. Later, after hearing his former teammates were in trouble, Bobby traveled to the Savage Land where he stumbled into a conflict between Sauron and Magneto. Sauron erased Bobby's memories of the encounter.

Bobby has now joined the Young Justice team, hoping to make a difference with others of his age group. He maintains his comedic attitude in the face of danger.

Throughout her short career she would make several allies and enemies. Batman, most obviously, welcomed her into his circle and supplies her with gadgets and other supplies. Black Canary became somewhat of a mentor to Barbra after helping her in a fight with Killer Moth and Firefly. Barbra also developed a strong friendship with Kara Zor-El (aka Supergirl) and Donna Troy (aka Wonder Girl). Despite her age and eligibility, she never became a member of the Teen Titans. In fact, the only group she was ever affiliated with was the Birds of Prey, and even then she was only a temporary member.

Yeah I personally don't really like seeing people just quote wikipedia like this. Makes it feel like you don't want to put the thought and care into it, really make the character theirs. I'm not going to dismiss it altogether over this though. But if you're going to do it, can you at least clean it up of the annotation links?

The young royal heir known as T'challa is descended from a long line of same named panther warriors who have led Wakanda a technologically advanced African state with a monarchy as older than recorded time.

T’challa was born to king T’chaka and his wife N’yami after years of trying to have a child of their own and adopting the orphan Hunter. His biological mother N'yami died in childbirth, earning him the enduring hatred of his adopted elder brother, Hunter, who also resented T'Challa for supplanting him in the royal household. His father re-married a second time to a woman by the name of Ramonda who gave birth to T'challa's younger sister Shuri(pictured above)

As he came of age and went on his ‘walkabout” he met and fell in love with future X-men leader and goddess Storm who was at the time a thief. They also shared their first intimate experience together. Duty however caused him to leave her side and return to Wakanda. Knowing his people were highly Xenophobic and suspicious of outsiders he chose to study abroad in a foreign land to teach them trust and tolerance. While in America he cultivated a new civilian identity and a masked vigilante identity while carrying on his studies at Gotham University.

Taught by his father to think two steps ahead of enemies and three steps ahead of friends, T'Challa saw the world's super-beings as potential threats to Wakandan interests and co-opted with the Young Avengers team in order to gather insight to better assist his nation's interests going forward.

I somewhat agree with this. I feel that characters shouldn't even put down a personality what so ever. I mean yes they should start off with a certain personality but as the rp goes on, they should be able to evolve but that just my 2 cents.

If it makes things too hard for you, just say so and I'll be fine just letting you put much more into it or leave it out altogether. Its the least important thing on the character sheet to me since the background can summerise the character's personality just as well.

1. Expert Marksman: trained by one of the finest archers himself, Green Arrow, his accuracy is matched only by his mentor and a handful of other archers.


2. Hand to hand combat: trained by GA’s girlfriend Black Canary, Roy has mastered several hand to hand combat techniques. A hard-hitting exercise regime keeps him at peak human condition.


3. Deductive reasoning: Far from a master detective, Roy does have some detective skills, including tracking from growing up with the Navajo.

Brief bio: Roy was saved from a forest fire that claimed the life of his parents by an elderly Navajo tribesman named Uncle Brave Bow. Brave Bow raised Roy like he was a member of his old tribe. Roy however never felt like he truly belonged. With few friends there was little Roy could do besides practice with the bow. When Brave Bow passed on Roy was taken in by a local orphanage, Roy was 13 and so was much older than most of the children there. Roy would regularly sneak out at night to practice with his bow and Arrow.

One night he stumbled across Green Arrow attempting to foil a robbery being committed by a man who was obsessed with time calling himself the Clock King. He was easily dodging Green Arrow’s arrows. Roy had a major hero worship of Green Arrow and leapt at the chance to help. He fired and pinned the crook to the wall. Green Arrow was baffled, but saw Roy fleeing the scene. Seeing the young man was a major reality check for Green Arrow, who had mostly taken up superheroing for the thrill seeking.
Oliver Queen made the headlines when adopted Roy Harper. Roy wasn’t sure what this rich sap was doing until he was taken to the arrow cave. Roy accepted Oliver’s invitation to become his crime fighting partner. Roy took on the name Speedy, because he was such a quick shot with the bow.

The two made a decent team, but Oliver found it hard to let go of his thrill seeking ways. A few weeks into their partnership Roy went off alone to investigate a LexCorp warehouse. Oliver had suspected Lex Luthor was up to something after withdrawing a business deal from his own company. Roy found himself strapped to an operating table. Roy later learnt they were attempting to amputate his arm. He heard something about cloning but he was too high on painkillers to understand. Green Arrow came to his rescue. The traumatising moment brought the two closer together, Oliver took being a hero, and training Roy as his sidekick much more seriously. Roy also vowed never to go off alone again for next 5 years he was Speedy.

As time went on Green Arrow joined the Justice League and Roy became friends with Wally and Garth. Wally regularly teased him about his name and made fun of his hat. On his 18th birthday Roy decided to give up the mantle of Speedy and became Red Arrow. As Green Arrow was spending more time with the League and couldn’t teach Roy much more they both agreed he was ready to go solo. Roy took the name Red Arrow to honour his mentor and hopefully to stand as his equal someday.

I feel like someone hasn't posted their profile for this (I haven't heard back from Rin, and I know Archer Arrow is making a second). If I'm being stupid I'll go ahead and try to start this soon.

Regardless I was thinking that to fit with the opening when the young heroes all come to the Justice League HQ, Iceman can be there with Xavier as the X-Men rep. I'm not sure about how to bring in Black Panther in quickly enough with it still be logical and flow with the overall story.
