Olde Bar@BladeSS4@Archmage MC@vancexentan@Zelosse
Apparently a bar fight has started, and that each crew started on each of their chaotic ruckus. The barfight started by those pirates. Yes, Alesia wasn't the one who started it, Those pirates provoked them in the first place! The wooden table had slammed on the pirate captains, who seemed too drunk on even moving away.
At the next moment, it was like a steel table had collided onto the pirates. Unnaturally, they felt as if a wooden table had a crushing weight, knocking away the three captains unconsciously. Alesia stepped away from the wooden table in a recognisable thud. 300 kilos, wouldn’t kill them, but she is not going to turn this into a bloodbath. Surely they will forget everything after a few days' rest. She was quite sure of it, her weight barely exceeded the two of these captains' mass.

On the side of Riko, the spinning glass propelled by the spinning alcohol, has crashed on the pirate flat on the chest, knocking him out near instantly. One that has the same type of powers like her. Alesia thought.

Amongst the shuffle of table and chairs of the course of the barfight, a pillar of flames abruptly shot up from one corner to another, leaving searing marks over the various tables of the establishment. Fortunately it missed the alcohol storage. But, a small singe came close to the spinning alcohol of Riko, and the alcohol ignited into a great spiral of fire that seared the enemy pirate into cinders.

That has provoked the tavern into a hard to resolve barfight. More of those pirates started drawing their cutlasses, a few pulling out their brown pistols. The fact that they are less sober helped a lot on the outcome of this barfight, the careless breakings of the rum bottles would help on the powers of the Saphire Star. Still they have avoided the 'ghost' with the black hood, Willow.

"Its better to knock them out peacefully so," Aleisa responded to the comment of Adam, with one hand covering the glare of the bar embers. "Also, I'm not fond of these guys~"

A white wolf could be seen from one of the broken windows. It was the same pet that was seen when Alesia entered the establishment. It seemed to be staring the shores from the backyard kennel. It was quiet and composed despite the scene of the bar.

Streets of Brown Isles @Jerkchicken
"We’re just messengers! Our captain is faraway at the Swamps." The pirate gasped for breath from the blunt damaged gaited from the previous skirmish. The other two pirates has succumb to its own injuries, laying flat on the floor motionless, the cobble floor started to dye red.

"He isn't that type to fool around the bars!" The pirate replied in gasping breath. "Our crew has gathered a bit of treasures at the Cavern by the hillside, challenge us if you dare!"

The pirate taunted, despite his defeat. The Caverns was beyond the Swamps, and they seemed to be unafraid of letting out the beans not the hideout.

The have a few cheap guns and blades on them, but that was what they seem to have of value. Just mere underling. A small den den mushi was placed on one of the pirates belt, but it has yet to blurp at the moment. The swamps was just ahead, and the shops was still nearby, albeit cleared from the customers.

"I appreciate your help. Those guys, they had been disrupting our business since they disembarked this harbour..." The store owner emerged from its place of hiding. "Or I should say, my harbour, I'm the mayor of the Brown Isles."

The shopkeeper who calls himself a mayor approached flint.

White Pearl @Stern Algorithm
Not far from the docks and White Pearl, there was a lone pigeon that flew to across the harbour. From what it appears it is a messenger pigeon, its two pair of claws has a rolled up parchment.

Handel wasn't sure what to make of the intercepted messages, but it seemed they'd found trouble. Something involving some deal with the mayor and drunkards, possibly another pirate crew, though that was to be expected, given where they were. The message suddenly switched to sounds in the bar, from which Handel heard the captain's voice. Sounded like something shady was going down at the bar. Handel walked out onto deck, slightly confused. Did she go to the bar and bother the captain about unfounded suspicion and curiosity? Dare she leave the ship unguarded? Was there any point in sticking their nose in this island's business? As she ran through these thoughts, she noticed a messenger pigeon flying overhead. Odd. With the advent of Den Den Mushi, messenger pigeons were a thing of the past, unless someone specifically didn't want their message being intercepted via black Den Den Mushi. But that only made Handel even more curious as to the contents of the message. "Nobody will notice if this bird took a slight detour," Handel thought as she pulled a boatswain's call from her breast pocket, placed it to her lips, and, instead of producing the usual sound, mimicked a surprisingly loud pigeon's coo in an effort to entice the pigeon to come to her.

Flint approached the small den den mushi that was on the belt. No doubt they were already expecting him as well as the conversation with the old man that was being hassled. The little snail was pocketed as he went to approach the old man. "I see, any reason for that?" He asked. He wanted to trust the old man but he also knew he could blindly be walking into some unknown conflict between two dishonorable groups. "How about if I help clear these guys out you can help me with shopping needs?"

As he awaited the response from the mayor, he began to formulate a plan for attack. He wondered if these guys were small fry enough to do this by himself as a solo mission without bothering the others. He didn't mind whether to go solo or not but he'd knew he want to get this out of the way soon before things started to escalate. "Perhaps that shopping trip for supplies would have to wait until tomorrow." was what he was thinking. He eyed the snail in his hand as he waited for inevitable message from the pirates.

Fine if it had to be this way so be it...let these drunk fools be done with quickly. Adam charged back this time he didn't use a weapon. His knives being drawn here would just mean unnecessary bloodshed, and as much as he would like to stab these pricks it was hardly the time, or the place. Casualties here would not help them even as his comrades around him quickly became more violent. "Don't get cocky people like this usually have someone bigger watching their back." Adam warned as he quickly grabbed one man's hand and twisted it before slammed himself forcefully into his chest enough to knock the air out of him. Adam then flipped the man and kicked his head hoping that would at least be enough to knock him out. If attacked shortly after that Adam would jump back quickly rolling over a nearby table, if not he would simply wait until he saw the chances to take care of another pirate.

Bakuto 'The Living Dragon'

Location Olde Bar

Interactions: @Noodles@vancexentan@Zelosse@Archmage MC

Bakuto walks up to the captains who have the table on them. Looking at the wooden table and seeing them having trouble lift the table. Bakuto then says, "Wow, heavy table I'd help you guys but you seem to deserve this table and who am I to get in the way with what you deserve." Not really sure why those so called Captains couldn't lift the table but Bakuto really didn't care much. He looks around as the fight in the tavern intensifies. He hears someone talking to someone should be careful since people like to have someone bigger watching their backs. Bakuto chuckled to himself a bit self-confident in himself, he doesn't even know these other pirates. Bakuto says aloud, "Someone bigger you say? I don't know you guys but I am pretty sure these guys don't have anyone big enough to help them against you all."

Bakuto dodging sword strikes quickly Bakuto is starting to have a bit of fun with those deciding to come at him dodging one man and kicking him into another. Bakuto wasn't hitting anyone he was appearing lightly pushing people around as they came at him. That was until he went for a dodge and narrowly misses full contact with a sword, the sword cut through his shirt but missed cutting him.. He the exclaims, "Hey that was my shirt!" He then moves in quickly then appears to poke the man very quickly in the gut with one finger, the guy falls down as if getting hit by a gun. His tone and body language shifted from that of a lax drunk to that of a serious person taking this fight seriously.

As the man falls down he goes from serious to shocked then says, "Oops, that was the wrong move. Uh...he should live..." He speaks as a drop of blood falls from his finger. He shakes it away then sees two men starting to point guns at him he then says, "Alright you wouldn't be wrong to try and shoot me but the answer you will find of what effect shooting me will have on you guys..." This wasn't good and he was trying to talk his way out. Reaching into his own abilities not wanting to use them but may have no choice should they fire at him. He stares at them and he sees the slight twitch in their hands and he began to use his devil fruit ability he had only slightly used.

They fired and the bullets hit and bounce away from Bakuto's skin by the time they hit his skin turned black and started to look like scales. Going through a transformation he looks at the men who shot him who look bewildered he then says with a more rough voice, "I'd run. You remember that guy over there telling his crew about the bigger guy showing up? Consider me the big guy that you guys should worry about..." As he finishes up his body changes more as his body bulks up muscles

becoming for defined as black scales completely over take him. He removes his vest but his shirt rips, his head taking a more reptilian shape sprouting a tail. Once he is done transforming he flexes his arm then twists his head. Getting use to his transformed limbs. Bakuto soon doesn't get long to get use to them as a single strike hits his scaled back. The unskilled swordsmen hit him and the blade only hits like a stick hitting a solid wall. It hit and had a small thud. Bakuto responds by just with a solid backhand the man with the sword. Sending him flying across the room through a table. A low growl escapes his mouth as he turns and looks at the men who shot at him. His demeanor changed into something more primal like a beast.

He speaks his voice sounding like a growl, "Captain Lady. I recommend you tell your crew to duck and get low to the ground to avoid the flames." Giving a sincere warning to Aleisa the captain lady to try to get her crew out of the way of his next potential attack as he takes in a deep breath. As he breathes in his chest begin to expand greatly. Clenching his fists and closing his mouth as a small spark like flame escapes before he does signally and warning others what is to come. He looks turns so he is facing between the men aiming preferably for the wall trying to reduce the number of causalities and trying to create an escape route after he unleashes his attack In the moment he opens his mouth releasing the pillar of fire in a focused scorching fiery blaze.

The pigeon flew over to the ship without much hesitation on its side, flying over the decks of the ships before landing on Handel shoulders. A messenger pigeon that is well tamed, judging from how it do be responding to that whistle of the pirate.

The bird loosened its grip on the paper rolled up on a purple strand knot.. The pigeon frolicked on the wood of the ship deck, giving Handel a few chirps, it seemed that the bird wanted sometime, perhaps a sort of food or payment?

On the letter it’s written in some sort of sinuous, purple ink. The handwriting was elegant, and it seemed almost like a letter from a scribe. The slant of the writing was reversed, along with a few odd smudges that shows one written off a lefty.

The contents of the letters are as follows -
So long as we do not know of that captain’s abilities, you’ll just tail him from the island.

We’ll meet him in the seas once again. One touch of the waters, and the captain will fall.

Best regards,

The letter ended there. One written to convey, but without anything too specific.

Streets of Brown Isles@Jerkchicken
"The Shade pirates had a battle with the marines. Too much money on their captain's head, and they got their ship wrecked to our port. There they began shooting seagulls, someone must have struck the captain's head too hard... Their captain, Valar, accused the stray cats as spies and blew up our pet shops... Then hid beyond the swamps and demanded for a ship repair. Which of course, we won't be complying, not after their ruckus on that day."

The old mayor stated, flicking away his cigarette.

"You would be doing us a favour if you were to take down the shade pirates, surely madness have gotten to their heads… The sea is sure a big place...."

The spinning fires of old alcohol had sure turned the olde bar into a messed up fight. The white wolf outside the bar sat outside unfazed, despite the ongoing commotion. The White Wolf went sleeping outside its own kennel, without a regard. Even when a person went transforming into a beast and spewed out dragonfire all over the bar. With a great spinning alefire and a strong clash of searing dragon fire, the state of the bar would be easy to predict.

Alesia ducked down from the inevitable outcome when that happened. The roof of the Olde Tavern blew apart into smitherscreens. The structures of the what can still be called a bar has been reduced into broken boards of wooden planks. The barfight was over, all that remains are a semblance of scrap wood.

“Dammnit you…” Alesia spat on her thigh of scorched red marks with anger, her stern eyes settling on that man that ignited the whole alcohol and fire, twice. Kicking on one of the remains of the scorched wooden table, Alesia approached the lizard thing in stomping steps. Not before lightening her full weight when she felt herself sinking on the weakened flooring of the bar remains. Her treasure map was still there, but that wolf have started leaving the scene. It seemed to now show any attention to the bar pirates. Gladfully, her useless treasure map was still there.

“Don’t think that I’ve settled with you yet, you damned lizard!!” Alesia rolled up her sleeves and smashed the table remains with one slam on that old table.

She was so going to box that guy’s ears and wring him onto the planks. With her full weight, Alesia stomped on the floor, the wooden floorings cracked, shattered, before splintering into countless pieces. She took a long deep breath to soothe her bad temper. “I’ll be taking the lead to the treasure hunt, if you’d excuse us, we’ll be leaveing the tavern.” Reluctantly, Alesia pieced together her words before walking off in the remains of the Olde bar. “Also, we’re looking for crew members for the scarlet pirates.”

She said this in her calm and collected front. She swore to herself that she will have the lizard guy to walk the plank once this darned charade is over. A place with sharks is a good start.

The outside of the bar is mostly deserted, the cowardy pirates have seemed to flee from the explosion, or perhaps it is more to them staying out of the bar's mess.

Willow wasn't too found of getting involved in the heavy brawling that was happening in the tavern. Well, to be more precise, she wanted to slice some throats, but that was a tad extreme to do to what was essentially drunkards. And when bakuto decided to breath fire in the alchohol filled enviorment, Willow decided this was a good time to bow out and flew out of the establishment, her disguise trailing behind her like a wisp as she got away from that mess. Soon after the whole place exploded, much to what she figured was going to happen.

When the debree had settled and the place looked safe, Willow made her way back to the wreckage of the bar. Since most of the other patreons had left with her, the only ones left in the wreckage were her crew and a few of the hardier people. She was a bit surprised everyone lived through that, but then worse things could've happened with the dragon boy.

Flint put on a pensive pose as he listened to the Mayor describe his and the town's woes. He wondered if he could please the little captain with a pet if they've destroyed the pet shops around here. But as he listened, he found himself focusing on the fact that the captain has some sort of phobia or a severe enmity towards animals in general. He couldn't piece it together but there was something there. Something he could use to leverage an advantage.

"Well If they're that disruptive and their Captain has a big enough bounty to be chased by marines, well I just can't say no to doing a little bounty hunting and taking care of this pirate problem for you." Flint said as he continued thinking. He was dismissive of this being simple madness. He felt like there's a devil fruit involved. Of course, he could be wrong and the captain is just insane. "Well I'll be on my way to clear out these pirates now.

As he walked away he could smell smoke and he heard an explosion. However, he didn't go check it out as he was already committed to the task of hunting down the pirates and their captain. "Tcch.. This place is too small to contain any madness." He said as he walked towards the exit of the town. He would soon find himself walking into the wilderness and straight to the swamps.

@Noodles"I'll take the rear move Captain!" Adam replied as he kicked another pirate back away from him, and booked it out of the tavern as fast as he could. This was already a whole big mess. Hopefully this treasure the captain found out about was worth it. You know they'd probably could just raid a nearby merchant ship, and make off with just as much but hey if the kid wanted to have fun what could he do to deter her anyways? The others were acting a bit more violent than usual but maybe it was just because he was the new guy, and wasn't use to them yet. Hell he may not even be use to it he could leave at any moment. Adam at the end of the day figured this was just the start of another dumb adventure.

The Swamps @vancexentan@Archmage MC@BladeSS4@Zelosse
The swamp was cooling compared to the bar. The trees leaves glistered of the afternoon sun with a distinct tint, giving a good shade from the heat of the weather. Just a couple of gentle breezes that simmered into the heart of the swamps.

Alesia, with her more flighty weight, was standing on a tree branch that seemed too thin even for a size. Little to none of the mud or marshes has seeped into her leather strapped boots. She glanced onto the so called treasure map that the captain gave to her.
They say that the mark is written on the X. But its more like an stolen town map to her. Perhaps that she was too trusting to drunkards.

Windy Route to Swamps & White Pearl@Jerkchicken@Stern Algorithm

The path to the swamps was just a stone’s throw away. The dirt path that leads from the street outskirts to the swamps of the brown isles. It was more of a detour, compared to the route from the bar.

In the middle of this route, the Den Den Mushi blurped.

A call from the captain of the Shades Pirates, Captain Valar. Before the snail transponder made an audible click that shows a call being made. Handes’ black snail have also intercepted the same familiar tone of the previous conversation.

“How was the talk with the mayor? Did it fail again? Like that last time?” A deep crackling voice rang out from the snail transponder. “Never mind, I’ll be at the swamps near the drunkards tavern. The marines have sent a few rats here, and I’m going to make that damned wolf pay for killing our first mate!”

After the intercepted call ended, the white wolf stepped onto the wooden piers that the White Pearl was anchored to. The seagulls fluttered away from the presence of another ‘wild animal’. It stared at the coastal horizons, but its blue eyes had shifted towards the white pearl ship for a moment. The messenger pigeon had suddenly went chirping at the sight of the lone wolf.

The White Wolf turned back towards the streets, not before turning his fluffy head to have another look at the White Pearl ship.

Riko had followed his captain in good faith from the bar fight, having dispensed his own brand of justice to the gap toothed degenerates that called the place home it seemed. That flaming ball of alcohol trick had been disastrously effective in clearing out the shit hole for good. It's blackened shell was likely all that remained as the scarlet pirates had gingerly exited the scene.

So now it was a disgusting swamp that greeted his boots as Riko thumbed the Sapphire☆Star on his swords hilt, half tempted to use its powers to walk over the fetid pool beneath him. Having decided against it, the trudge through was unpleasant as could be. Underneath the tree the captain was perched on he finally spoke up.

"What are you even looking for? This is a bigger dump than the place we burned down."

After reading the pigeon's note and intercepting another transmission, it seemed clear that there was another pirate crew here, maybe two, and definitely a devil fruit user. Of course, the Marine's were sticking their noses into it as well. Handel would have to warn the captain of the trouble if and when she returned to the ship. But the best sort of intercepted message was one in which the receiver didn't know it was intercepted, so Handel tied the note back to the pigeon's leg, fed the pigeon some cut grapes, and carried it back out to the deck to be released, and to find it's original recipient, hopefully giving no indication that it the note had been read by a third party. Handel let the bird fly off, only to lock eyes with the wolf. "...ah...a wolf..." Handel said monotonously, wondering if this was the wolf she heard the pirates talking about. Part of her wanted to question it, but another part wanted to just leave well enough alone. She went to the main mast. Against the mast leaned her bass. Using her foot to pull a stool nearby, she sat down and brought her bass to her, brandishing her bow as if she were preparing to play a song. She kept her eyes on the wolf, waiting for it to make a move.

@Noodles"Really captain? A bloody swamp? Of all the places you take a pirate crew a swamp is probably the place we belong the least. Whatever this treasure you're leading us to it better be worth it. It'd be much, much easier to just raid a merchant ship. We got a strong crew, and merchants now of days are too complacent with the world government protecting them." complained Adam as he stepped carefully around. He'd need to buy more clothes later more than likely. Swamps carried too many diseases, and too many bugs. Adam made sure to check himself every few steps to make sure flies, or mosquito weren't clinging to him. Malaria, and other things these little shits carried was definitely not worth this dumb adventure. Adam knew the others were probably going to give him the 'Stop whining line'. Adam hoped those people who did ended up dying of Malaria. Less people for him to deal with when they got out of the swamp.

"Oh come on Adam, Swamps aren't so bad! I've gotten a lot of my... jobs... done in swamps. No one expects a will-o-wisp to be lethal." Willow said at Adam's complaints, having left her disguise full of loot in a crate on the edge of town. She ended up buzzing int he general area of Riko. Unlike in an urban area, she wasn't too worried about people seeing her in an area such as a swamp, especially since she could easily be mistaken for a big dragonfly.

"But don't get me wrong, taking stuff from a pompous, fat, gross merchant does sound much easier." She said, stinting a laugh as Adam was almost freaking out at all the bugs that were around the swamp. She'd skewer any bugs that tried to attack her thinking they'd get a free meal, which incidentally kept a lot of bugs away from Riko.

"So.... what was that map for anyway, Captain?"

When the snail came with the message Flint said aloud," Don't worry your troubles will be over soon. Handel, if you're listening to this, tell the Cap I'll be entering this fight shortly." Meeting in the swamp? It was probably not going to be as simple as he wished it would be. On the other hand, it sure beat the walk and all the issues of fighting multiple people in that cave. Although wouldn't that be happening anyway, unless the captain had the entire crew waiting.

He'd finally make it to the swamp and was already at alert for any ambushers. He was also keeping track of where the wind was blowing and walking to make sure the wind was blowing over him. "Well Captain, are you gonna keep me waiting or what?" He said aloud. He kept pacing as he took a sip of his canteen again. His hand rested on his shotgun and was ready to open fire on any attack.

Bakuto 'The Living Dragon'

Location Olde Bar

Interactions: @Noodles@vancexentan@Zelosse@Archmage MC

After the fiery attack, Bakuto was relatively surprised by the damage he knew it would be great but it still surprises him what he can do with a single blast of fire. He looks around to make sure who all was alright and was a bit relived he didn't hurt the captain lady or her crew. That would have made a worst impression other than the bad one he has made after destroying the tavern. He hears the captain lady, he heard her calm him a lizard he then comments quickly, "I am a dragon! Not a lizard!" Reverting back quickly to his human form then recollecting his vest he took off before hand that somehow didn't get completely burned then puts it back on. When he hears they were looking for recruits he smiles and follows. Figuring he will have to find a way to prove himself better than just the guy who burned up all the alcohol in the bar.

Location- Swamp

Going through the swamp following after the captain, or well potentially his new captain. Being in the middle of a swamp brings back the lizard comment. He sees the little fairy and fights the urge to smirk, this crew has fairies and now might have a dragon. He had tons of questions for the fairy about fairies as Bakuto has a strong interest in magical or mythical creatures in the world. He hears the comments of the swamp and the fairy's reply and comments Bakuto eventually makes his own remarks on the swamp, "I have to agree with the fairy, this isn't that bad. Not might first choice of places to explore but this place seems perfect if you are going to hide something in a place nobody wants to go." He then turns to the person who the fairy referred to as Adam, "Treasure is treasure so anything we find should be worth it in the end. What kind of pirates would say no to treasure? Also wading through a swamp or taking on merchants, I'd go through a swamp any day of the week. At least this stuff wont be missed when we take it."

As he keeps walking he then says cheerfully, "By the way the names Bakuto, didn't get a chance to introduce myself to any of you in the bar before." Trying to keep a light tone trying to get past what he did in the bar, even though he did have any regrets what he did there. He was feeling a bit it weakened going through the swamp figuring it must be the water and the effect it has on devil fruit users Looking at the captain seeing her floating on a tree branch. Figuring that was a decent idea. Going up to small dead looking tree the punches it with almost all his strength knocking it down, pulling the limps of and making into a log he climbs on top of it and lets it float across the water like a make shift boat. The moment getting out of the water he begins to feel less weakened. He then asks the captain, "So how do you do that? Float on a little tree branch?" Knowing the answer he was just trying to start some sort of conversation with the captain that is hopefully better than what happened in the tavern.

The Swamps@Jerkchicken@BladeSS4@Archmage MC@vancexentan@Zelosse

That was frustrating, when 3 pirates of her own crew went complaining on this treasure hunt. All of them wanting to find a merchant ship instead of some great treasure. She didn't have the luck of stumbling upon one, and just who is the one charting on the ship course? Now that they mention it, the swamps isn't as cooling as the coasts, but the winds are gentle here for her lighter weight. So much for a fun and exciting treasure hunt.

"We'll pillage a merchant ship after we set sail." Alesia hoped that that would satisfy the grumblings of her crew, somehow they feel that a swamp trip isn't worth the treasure.

And out of all her crew, only the so called dragon had expressed support. The same one that destroyed the drunkards’ tavern. She was the one who started the barfight, but that's all his fault anyways. Alesia is starting to feel regret on embarking here.

Before Flint rejoined the group, a voice from the snail transponder rang out again. "We've got company, you know what to do. I'll be putting up the black wind, stick close to--- WAII-TT! WHO IS HANDEL?!!" The snails transponder hung up with an audible slam off the receiver.

Now Alesia is getting questions. "An island map, might be useful sometimes." Aleisa stuffed the map onto her sidecoat. "Also... I wasn't floating actually, I just changed my weight," Alesia replied without much of a concern in her tone. That was when a familiar tone echoed along the ridges of the swamps. "Flint!" Alesia called out to the oldest crew member.

Not far away from there, a black smog could be seen. That was the closest thing that Alesia could describe. A dark towering mass that makes the night look like the day. The Black Miasma enveloping entire trees of the swamp, as gently as the touch of the shades. Tendrils could be seen above the heights of the groove.

"What's that thing?..." Alesia flashed out her cutlass in an arc. The gentle black wind sweeps towards the Crew of the Scarlet Pirates. As far as she know, that doesn't look so friendly.

The White Pearl @Stern Algorithm

The pigeon flew off the ship, towards the directions of the streets of Brown Isles. It stopped at the piers of the harbour, landing right in front of the white wolf. It was a very short trip for the passenger pigeon. With a distinct chirp. It released the letter right in front of the white wolf. The White Wolf sniffed the rolled up letter, glaring at the Ship of White Pearl. Clawing away the twin ribbon knots, the intended recipient stomped on the letter with its paw, frowning at the contents that are written.

Just what are those pirates doing with that letter? No obvious signs of tempering on the letters, unlike the few times it reached the olde bar. The White Wolf had never seen this pirate flag before, perhaps a crew fresh out of the vast seas. Not another order from the marine captain to lay low on the Pirates' Den. The wolf bit away the letter, before scrapping the remains down the side of the piers. The fine ink dissolving off the water into cloudy purple blotches.

The White wolf inched himself closer to the White Pearl, stopping itself at a better vantage point. Laying down, the wolf pretended to fall asleep, his pair of piercing blue eyes gleaming very slightly to observe the White Pearl. It was strange to see a newly formed crew to intercept letters like this. It would've gone unnoticed if it weren't for his sense of smell off his devil fruit, and had it not happened right in front of his eyes.

"WAII-TT! WHO IS HANDEL?!!" Handel's black snail shrieked the loud angry transmission of Valar.

That voice! That lone wolf sprang up in all fours from its sleepy demeanor. The voice of that Shades Pirates' captain. Handel...? That could explain the static often picked up from a Black snail. A name that he wouldn't think of even hearing in a place like this.

"What brings you to this sea?" The white wolf stepped on the gangplank of the White Pearl, speaking in a clear and unhindered tone. "Even the likes of Captain Valar pales before the price on your head, Lady Handel."

The 'wolf' climbs the gangplank in his cautious steps. What he was saying was true, Valar of the Shade Pirates, a bounty of only 22 million.

"My name isn't important call me Dagget if it suits you." grumbled Adam giving off the last alias he had used when the group had set sail. Whatever the case Adam cared not for the new blood just another person in the swamp at this rate. "Also you only miss people if they die, or go missing. Any raider worth their blood knows to not kill the merchants themselves if possible. You make an example out of one of them if needed, and then take the stuff. You then set them free, or throw'em on a dingy. After that you sink their ship if its worth the effort. Blood in the water attracts sharks no pirates need to deal with sharks." Grumbled Grey in response to the others further. "Damn it step back if you don't know what it is!" Adam growled as his captain inadvertently led them into a monster of some sort. Adam as smooth on his feet as ever decided to quickly step back keeping in mind to not step in quicksand, or holes nearby that would upset his footing. He threw a set of daggers at the beast to test to see if it bled, or if it was immune to such trifling attacks. Adam specialized in human killer he wasn't some beast master.

"Flint! Never give away your recon!" Handel thought furiously to herself, noticing that the sounds from the black Den Den Mushi had caught the wolf's attention. She also noticed that the pigeon had given the note directly to the wolf. Well, so much for not letting the other party know that their message had been intercepted. But when the wolf recognized her, Handel, in a swift, fluid motion, stood up from her stool and spun behind the mast that she was sitting next to, bringing her bass with her, so that she was out of sight of the wolf, with the mast between herself and the gangplank. She tried to run her thoughts through her memories to see if she could remember any pirates, or more likely, marines who had a wolf devil fruit. Closing her eyes she began playing a single uninterrupted note on her bass and listening carefully for changes in the echo. Though it didn't give her 'vision' of the wolf's position, it would let her know if it made any sudden movements.

"You're a marine, aren't you? Marines shouldn't be fighting marines, so I'll tell you. The best way to get pirates to trust a marine is to put on a show of defection. That's right, my bounty is a front that only the highest echelons know of. I was in CP1, after all. So not only is there no actual bounty, but I'm on a very important mission to infiltrate the pirate community, and it would reflect poorly on your career if you were to get in my way." This was Handel's practiced bluff to trick marines that didn't know the truth, but just in case, she had her fingers ready to switch to a new note on her bass, a pitch inaudible to humans, but audible to dogs, the pitch used in dog whistles that was supremely uncomfortable to canines.
