Race: [REDACTED] Gender: Male Age: 32 Psychological Profile(Personality) While Isaac can be an amicable individual, he tends to avoid social events of almost any kind unless absolutely necessary. Preferring to be left to his work, he is a diligent agent and arguably the most devoted in The Agency. Much of his expertise surrounds being able to examine a crime scene with a great deal of scrutiny. That being said, it should be known that his social skills are slightly below par when it comes to dealing with sensitive subject matter. Despite his inability to properly convey emotions or signs of empathy, Isaac is a focused and sympathetic agent, not hesitating to aid a coworker if it is within his power to do so. Agents partnered with Isaac in the past have stated he comes off as honest, straightforward, and trustworthy despite his somewhat stoic mannerisms.
Background(Character Bio) Born and raised in New Carcosa, Isaac grew up the eldest of three children. His father and mother both working within the OIA. At age 18, Isaac attended Miskatonic University before joining the OIA himself. From there he continued to work in the Occult Crimes Department specializing in homicide cases without ever accepting promotions in rank. During the Ronoth Cult Crisis of 2022 to 2025, he suffered a traumatic event which left him in a depressive state and earned him the OIA Inquisitor Award for Bravery and Outstanding Service. He continues to work in Violent Occult Crimes.
Specialization Conjuration Theory and Implementation Divination Occult Homicide and Violent Crimes Necromancy
Training(if applicable) Master's Degree in Conjuration from Miskatonic University
Relevant Experience(if applicable) Involvement in the Ronoth Cult Investigation from 2022 to 2025
Notes Isaac appears to harbor some form of trauma from his time investigating the Ronoth Cult. Numerous counseling sessions following the event seem to have little positive effect. Isaac currently shows signs of high functioning depression as his work seems to be unimpeded by whatever trauma he carries. Suggest assigning agent a partner to monitor his progress and potentially aid in recovery.
Race: Corrupted dryad Gender: none Age: none Psychological Profile Subect ID#14489-W, or 'Wendigo', is a shackled dryad captured by OIA agent Devora. The beast has been captured at great risk and containment determined effective and permanent docile nature when in the presence of its handler, its former intelligence holding out against the spiritual defilenent imparted on its soul. Wendigo appears to follow commands of its own accord and displays what could be considered affection for the handlers safety.
Peculiar habits include a sudden appetite for meat, uncaring what kind, and can be highly aggressive in the field. For whatever reason it has imprinted on the staff as its pack. Note: Wendigo has repeatedly asked to be terninated if the shackles show any sign of tampering, showing great concern for other life.
Background: Dryads are nature dwelling spirits, heralds of growth in the forests and docile towards life. Few have ever been seen or spoken to, fewer still offer their services and sight to anyone. Wendigos are what happens when a grove is polluted with toxic materials and subjected to horrible curses, becoming living woods and remains of buried creatures animated into a single entity.
Wendigos are vicious and unrelenting forces corrupted by foreign influence, all known cases of these creatures have ended in casualties and the consumption of humans or beasts alike. Agent Devora was fortunate the beast was a weakened variant in its early stages or growth to its current state. Binding have been placed on its arms and neck region during their encounter meant to imprison possessed beings, the result was Wendigos current state of being.
Wendigo has retained its former docile nature and intelligence as newer bindings were developed to combat its newfound urges to commit atrocity. Why it was cleared to operate as Devoras partner/pet is beyond anyones knowledge. Strict protocols hinder its freedoms completely.
Assigned Division: Subordinate to Field investigations agent
Training: None. Wendigo was a former wilderness spirit, but has acclimated to city dwelling with remarkable ease. Presence of Wendigo has inspired others to adopt supernatural and willing entities to work alongside agents in the field.
Relevant Experience: none.
Notes: While Wendigo is an asset to the OIA, it is under no uncertain terms that if Davora fails to control it completely at all times it must be terminated. Leniency on its imprisonment has been given in recent weeks as its proven 'friendliness' has been brought to light.
"I'm just here for the tacos and to bash some freak's face in."
Race: Psionic human Gender: Female Age: 29 Psychological Profile The type of lady you do not want to piss off. Equal parts crazy, brave, sadistic, and has utter disregard for people not part of her little group. Growing up in gangs then being caught up in a shady mercenary group for most of her early life has colored her personality a bit for the worse. A battle hardened girl whose seen more shit than people twice her age by the time she was twenty. She has a healthy dose of mistrust for people, but has surprisingly shown stalwart faith and loyalty in those she's working with. She's stubborn and has a tendency to see things through to the end despite any sort of obstacle.
In her general day to day, she's amicable enough, getting along with peers fairly well, if somewhat catty and a bit antagonistic. She has shown a tendency to antagonize everyone, is a bit of a wise-ass.
Background Raised for the first eight years of her life in the now burnt down St. Elziabeth's shelter for children, Katherine has had a bad hand dealt from birth. (See the Elizabeth's Shelter incident for more information). Running away from the abusive orphanage when she was eight, she was quickly picked up by a local gang who called themselves the 'Carcosa Yellow Kings' who, by all accounts, are a now defunct cult after a raid by the mercenary group known as 'Fenrir'. She doesn't talk much about what happened there, but it's clear this is where her Psionic abilities first began to manifest, likely due to some inhuman experimentation by the cult for the nine years she was there.
After a raid by the Merc Group known as Fenrir, she was taken from the cult and recruited into their ranks for her Psionic abilities and her apparent weapons training. From there she was used as a special ops soldier by the group, and worked for both various governments and other organizations that had supernatural problems to deal with. Up until a year ago, she was still working for them, but decided to quit after an incident involving the Mercenary company and the OIA butting heads during an investigation where it was revealed Fenris was openly researching and delving into Occult business.
Afterwards, she willingly cooperated with OIA officials and has been a valuable source of information on the mercenary groups past operations, and is currently assigned as an OTO officer for the past sixth months, of course, being under special supervision.

Specialization Physical fitness Firearms Psionics Special operations & Swat
Training(if applicable) Formal hand-to-hand combat training Standard Firearm training Some Psionics training from her time in a cult
Relevant Experience(if applicable) Eleven years as a mercenary dealing with occult and dangerous situations
Notes Despite having some Psionic ability thanks to her time with the Yellow Kings, Katherine's ability with them is rather sub-par, at most only able to perform the simplest of tricks and tasks. It often seems to manifest as some form of hyper-awareness of her surroundings, telepathy, and minor telekinesis, plus a resistance to similar effects. Her favorite combat shotgun is affectionately named 'Remy'. She lacks a formal education, and as such isn't the brightest when it comes to complicated subjects, but has an extremely decent grasp of tactics and teamwork.
Her codename in her time with the Fenrir mercs was 'Havoc'.
Accurate telepathy of around a Kilometer. Hyper-awareness of about a ten-foot radius around her. Telekenesis of up to thirty pounds with some minor straining. Resistant to psionic effects and mental manipulation
St. Elizabeth's Orphanage Incident A rather unfortunate incident involving a vampire and undead. The abbess and the other nuns had later been discovered to be using the children as a form of easily attained sustenance. The question of what exactly happened there that dreary night it burned down is up for debate - there were no survivors. The vampires all burned to ash, and anyone else were reduced to simple minded ghouls or livestock. The only one who may potential information on it is rather tight lipped on the subject, saying she doesn't remember much aside from the Abbess being 'Someone who needed her face punched in'
Fenrir Mercenary Company A shady but influential group of people and other supernatural entities working for various governments, organizations and other such groups. Little is known about their internal affairs - after Sinclair was apprehended and she helped clean up some of their work, they've gone underground along with whatever occult dealings they were currently investigating.
Combat Gear
One thing is clear with Kat's gear - she only care's about sheer stopping power her armaments give her.
KarmaTec- TSK "Valkyrie" 10 Gauge Shotgun.
Kat's main choice of armament, and the firearm she always tries to keep with her. She's had it for years, and its age and wear shows, but its lovingly taken care of. Its built purely for close range engagements, and has enough stopping power to at least stun a full grown minotaur. The ammo drum on it is loaded with ten shells.
Its ammunition consists of a variety of shells, ranging from traditional led, silver bullets for more supernatural threats, to shredder and explosive rounds. Katherine has access to all, and often keeps such ammo reserves on her when in the field.
Dunn SR21
A fairly standard handgun picked up by Kat a few years ago. A fairly standard firearm with a non standard .45 caliber round. Kat isn't too picky about her side arms, only that they have enough stopping power to take out a cultist drugged out on space dust - Meaning blowing his brains out. Its a relatively close to medium range weapon.
Like Remy, Kat has extra ammo of varying kinds to deal with changing situations on the field.
What appears at first to be a rather low end, perhaps common piece of armor wouldn't understand what its used for. It has enough defensive ability to tank a hit from a firearm or two, but that isn't its main function. The suit, 'Modgud' is rather designed to focus more on lightweight mobility as well as stealth, with specialized alloys and materials designed to absorb the sound the wearer makes whilst moving. It comes with a built in night visor, as well as a flashlight.
Race: Aria is a wolf, though she often extends this to “Canis Lupus Arctos pars Homo Sapien”, which states her as being an Arctic Wolf part Human, due to what she believes is her origin. Gender: Female Age: 26, in human years. Psychological Profile(Personality) People can have mixed thoughts on their first look at Aria; as a wolf, she can perhaps be a little intimidating to some, though Aria prides herself in being above the ‘brainless mutts’ that are her brothers and sisters in race, as well as in dogs. She is intelligent, able to look at something and formulate a solution in her head quite easily, however there are times that she will like to toy with those around her. If she knows the answer and others don’t, instead of saying it outright she may (if the situation allows for it) attempt to coax the others into the answer and let them learn it for themselves.
As well as her intelligence being above that of an average wolf, rivalling that of a human’s intelligence, Aria’s friendliness differs from that of the wolf. She can be caring and compassionate as much as she is efficient. Of course, Aria can have times in the negative, becoming insensitive if there is a fast-approaching deadline or if she is feeling unconfident. She usually has good reason behind this, however, and rarely becomes truly aggressive, for she is normally calm.
Background(Character Bio) It is difficult for Aria to pick out her origins, because she doesn’t know if they are true. In some of her spare time, she has attempted to extensively search on her own for where she has come from. Though there are still some loose ends, she believes that she has worked most of it out.
Aria didn’t have a mother and father in the traditional way, nor was she concieved in the normal way. Her father wasn’t a wolf, and her mother wasn’t a human. In fact, it was the other way around. She was the forced combination of a human sperm and wolf egg, which was then placed back into a wolf to be the surrogate mother for the abomination that the university that did it to her expected her to be. They were wrong in the thoughts.
The wolf that was soon born was nothing different to an ordinary wolf. Aria wasn’t thrown out immediately because the team observing her still wanted something to happen and were willing to wait for it. The wolf that served as her mother did not last as long as Aria did, however; she was cast out and released into the wild as soon as Aria stopped receiving milk from her. Eventually, it was decided that Aria had nothing to offer, and she was left to be a mascot of the university.
It was a full year before a newer professor asked something that made the those who still cared for Aria feel like fools; he pointed out that Aria seemed to have grown to the size of an adult wolf fairly quickly. Again, professors were peering at the young wolf as a subject of science. Despite the observation, she didn’t seem to grow any larger, but half a year later, something not expected happened. Aria began to talk in human tongue to them, and not like someone learning for the first time, either. After two days of stumbling over her own words, she was speaking in full sentences.
From there, Aria only grew to impress the professors even more. She discussed theories with them, as well as completed puzzles that she was given with efficiency. An IQ test stated her IQ to be 137, impressing professors. As supernatural entities began to make more of a public appearance, so did the wolf; after all, when studying nature, who better than a member of nature herself to give a lecture?
Aria eventually grew bored with her position, and began to look into other opportunities for herself, which was of course quite hard. Being four-legged meant she couldn’t exactly do what those with hands could do well, but she eventually stumbled across the OIA. It was hard for her to place what she could do there, but she soon decided that investigations would be a place for her (of course, she could have been involved with research and development, but she had enough of that from the university). While she had the knowledge to be research and development, she felt that her intelligence could be better utilised from the field - she always had believed that field science was better than sitting in a lab. From there, she began to serve under the OIA for years, digging up (sometimes literally) answers to investigations.

Notes Aria doesn’t actually have a formal surname. She was required to have one so that she could be dubbed a professor and formally give lectures, so she believed it would be amusing to have the surname “Wolfsbane” despite being a wolf. It certainly gave students a chuckle when a wolf named “Professor Wolfsbane” was giving a lecture.
Race: Lesser Demon Gender: Male Age: 153 Psychological Profile Jovial and chatty, and unlike what his appearance would indicate he is a nice fellow. But also as his appearance would indicate, he is a monster and wears a smile like a mask so that he can get away with various heinous plots. A schemer, liar, and manipulator who despite these negative values has a sense of honor and respect. After all, if he was truly without any semblance of decency, he would never be able to control others as well as he desires.
Professionally he does his best to provide the utmost service with the best efficiency as he could. That is to say, he does good enough. When it’s time to work he’s willing to put aside personal feelings to get the job done, but has a certain level of detachment from the job that some might consider him heartless. Which is far from the truth; in his personal life Darc is actually quite emotional and open to heart-to-heart chats and genuinely wants to help others. So long as it helps him too of course. Not the type of man who feels the law must be absolute when he knows it’ll screw over an innocent person, but at the same time petty and spiteful enough to let it happen anyways.
Background The first of many outsiders to come to Earth and join what he refers to as the Mortal Plane. While many demons first arrived to raise havoc among the unprepared and unsuspecting mortals, Darc choose to use the experience to learn more about the world and what he may be up against. When the initial flood of demons were culled by the mortal retaliation force, Darc made sure to lay low and operate in the shadows to escape persecution. It was during that time he gained a feel for his powers in this new world and began to spread his influence via his magic. He targeted the vast amounts of homeless, vagrant, and orphaned as they were of weak will but limitless potential.
For the next few years he honed his spells to create a vast information network consisting of his various familiars, spies, and sleeper agents for two purposes: to root out rival demons and information brokers, and to improve the lot of those under his control. A demon who leads with the carrot as much as he does the stick, he attracted various followers with his promises of success and riches in their lives, and those who served him well were indeed rewarded. They wouldn’t remember him of course, but they would remember the organization that helped them get back on their feet: Underhaven.
Before too long Darc formally joined and began to cooperate with OIA. For the longest time Darc’s success was attributed to the subtly of his magic and domination, but when zealous demon hunters began to harass Darc’s followers and threaten to out his secret he joined OIA to put the threat down. Nowadays Darc still maintains his vast information network to spy on both his enemies and threats around the city, and serves as a humble communications officer to provide live intel and information to any operatives in the field.
Assigned Division: Violent Occult Crimes
Specialization Communications Espionage Information Control Demonic Magic
Training Familiar Contract - The art of summoning or creating magic familiars. Typically animals or lesser magical beings such as imps, sprites, or fairies. They’re fairly weak in combat but in exchange they have a wide variety of utility abilities, be it magical powers or technical knowledge. Nonmagical beings can be anything from lice on a rat or even another human being. He can command his familiars to do anything he tells them to, with weaker willed ones unable to resist though stronger wills (or at least sapient) can sometimes resist if the command is not something they’d be willing to do.
Familiar Augmentation (Memory) - An offshoot of Familiar summoning which allows Darc to extract, observe, and edit the memory and mental abilities of his familiars. This allows any familiar contracted under him to share their thoughts and perception in real time with Darc should he have reason to need it, as well as manipulate those memories however he desires. This ability only works for his familiars but allows them access to knowledge they might otherwise not have obtained.
Shapeshifting - One of Darc’s natural demon magic which allows him to alter his body in different ways. Weaker than it usually is however; at the moment he’s limited to only being able to transform into other humanoids and without any of their magical abilities, though he shares their physical traits and stats. He mostly uses this to sneak around other mortals or live another life.
Relevant Experience Homeless Emperor - Darc has been incognito as the self-proclaimed ruler of the homeless, orphaned, and disitute around New Carcosa. This has allowed him to have close knowledge about the various shady and underground going ons around town, as well has having private information beyond places were the homeless are ignored. He’s made good allies both legitimate and otherwise through his time as the Homeless Emperor, equal to the amount of enemies.
Notes
Darc has lost much of his powers since coming to the mortal realm, and needs time and energy to regain his full strength. He obtains said energy via his Familiar Contracts, siphoning a minuscule amount of energy from his contract holders. He can drain more if he needs to, but keeps it small since he employs a mass amount of contracts to compensate.
Darc also isn’t his real name, it’s merely the most common alias he refers to himself as. He use multiple names and personas to go with it, and he hides his true name so that his enemies can’t use it against him. “Darc Riovas” is his mortal name that he uses for his day-to-day living.
Under his mortal guise Darc has patented an app called Underhaven, meant to provide information to homeless and struggling people to find help either for housing, work, or health. However it also serves a dual purpose as a communication virus that allows Darc to eavesdrop on those who use his app, allowing him to gather information using any device linked to whatever the app is downloaded on, such as wireless speakers, cameras, etc. It's an entirely magical virus as oppose to a purely digital virus. Naturally, it was funded by OIA R&D.
Race: Human (Deathless) Gender: Male Age: 42 (appears in his mid 20's) Psychological Profile:
A passive man, usually friendly and non-aggressive. He has a great sense of humor. Tends to be a bit cynical at times. When focused on a case, the case comes first, alienating himself from anyone not helping him to solve it. He has shown to have a strong will, his years of work not slowing down his determination one bit.
His immortality has seemingly dulled his sense of self-preservation. He has gone into dangerous circumstances, knowing he can't die. When dismembered, he's just as calm, if a little annoyed, as usual. He's even used his dismembered limbs for practical jokes. Strangely, Douglas has reported to still feel pain, so it's unknown if this still occurs with dismemberment.
Background:
Born in 1986, much of Douglas' life was normal. He grew up in a loving household, graduated high school on the honor roll, and went to college to become a forensic investigator. After getting his Bachelor's at 19, he worked part-time as a forensic scientist for the NCPD, while studying for his next degree. Eventually, he worked his way into a full-time position as a CSI. For the next few years, he assisted the NCPD in catching many criminals.
One day, when he was 25, he was investigating the seemingly sacrificial murders of the city's residents. The MO had lined up with a similar case years before his time, Serial Killer Markus Durian, so he decided to investigate the condemned house of the murderer to see if there were any connections. This is when he was ambushed and captured by a group of cultists, The Durian Cult, whom idolized the previous killer and thought he was onto something big before he was captured. They performed a ritual, and branded him with a circle in his middle-back (dubbed "The Mark of Cain" or "The Endless Cycle"). It's assumed that the cultists must have misunderstood Markus's notes, for the ritual had made Douglas "Deathless", and he could no longer die. They tortured him with his newfound immortality for the next day, until the day after when the NCPD raided the home and found the cultists, along with Douglas, in the basement.
Following some months of paid leave and therapy, Douglas was back to the NCPD, the encounter with the cultists having only strengthened his resolve. He worked for the next 5 years unaware of his affliction with undeath, believing what the cultists did to him involved hallucigenics. But then, one fateful day, he was investigating the crime scene of a possible gang shooting. A crowd of people who knew the victims had gathered, and Douglas was lightly questioning one of them when 3 cars slowly passed the scene. The passengers rolled down the windows and open-fired on the crowd, injuring and killing many civilians and officers alike, before speeding away. Douglas was hit 3 times in the chest during the drive-by. But as he got up from the floor, he felt fine, feeling his chest, there were bullet-holes in his shirt, but no wounds in his body.
After being sent home that day, hiding the bulletholes from his colleagues, he went into his bathroom and cut his hand open. After a few moments, it healed right back up before his very eyes. Then, he did something very stupid: he took his gun, pointed it at his chest, and fired. For a second, he thought he was dead, having just been an crazy idiot. But then he woke up moments later, alive, slouched against the bathroom wall. But the bullet did hit the wall directly behind him.
He hid his Deathless state from his coworkers for the next coming years. Occult occurances were becoming more and more common. Then, in 2019, OIA came around. Douglas immediately applied for a job and told them of his predicament. Including a demonstration. He was hired on as a senior R&D member ever since, investigating the world of the Occult.

Notes:
While he has gone through therapy Douglas can still be found at times simply staring off into nothing.
When testing the lengths of his immortality, Douglas's dismembered arm decomposed at a near-instant rate after a day of seperation, and he proceeded to grow another within a few minutes.
His parents have both passed, and Douglas has no other family, being an only child. And, through his own reports, it seems he cannot reproduce.
Psychological Profile Considering what he is and what the reputation his kind has both in myth and in today's society, Kharon is actually a really friendly and jovial fellow when not out on a mission. He always finds time to talk to anyone who wishes to talk to him and gives them advice on what they should and should not do. When on the job, where the risk of increases, he turns into a different person completely, completely serious and completely focused on the task at hand, knowing that people can and will be hurt if he's not careful enough.
However, when he meets undead, he has to fight so that he doesn't go ham on them. Exceptions go to only those undead that he has worked for long enough besides and that he trusts enough.
Background(Character Bio)
Growing up as a minotaur is not easy, especially considering how they are viewed thanks to the one well known myth about them and Kharon was not an exception. His childhood was marred with examples of people bullying him both in school and outside it, both by other children and even some adults. However, if he were to tell you, those only made him stronger and made him into the rock solid person he was today.
His home life wasn't that much greater to be honest, his parents were kind, but they were quite poor, living day by day from odd jobs and the like. To add to it, his parents were extremely religious folk, following the old ways of some god of long ago, a god which specifically disliked death immortality and though he forgot most stuff about this god and what he preached, the only thing he remembered the preaching of was the absolute hate for the undead.
Growing up in the poorer areas of town, Kharon saw crime on a near daily basis, most of it petty crimes such as thievery, or something similar, though on occasion, he did see shootings and even gang wars happening around him. In most people, that alone might have meant that he would have been drawn in to become a gang member in one of these local gangs. However, instead of being drawn into one of these gangs, he chose to do quite the opposite and join the OIA
And though the OIA was not what he expected at first, he thrived as an Occult Tactics Operative, especially because of the brute force he was capable of. However, one day, a case was reported at a very familiar address, that of his parents. By the time they got there, all they found inside the house itself were two undead zombies and blood all over. The zombies were easily dispatched by Kharon and the other operatives there and the fate of his parents was obvious. From this point on forwards, Kharon harbored a deep distrust and sometimes outright hatred for all forms of undead.
And so, since then, Kharon has served since then until now as an Occult Tactics Operative, now as a sergeant after a promotion for his many years of service. Nowadays, he is just happy to be of help to people, though he still has a faint hope that he will find the man who was the cause of his parent's death.

Specialization Special Operations & Swat Close Quarter Combat(both armed and unarmed) Combat Training Physical Fitness

Notes
After yet another hard day's work, Kharon takes anyone who is willing to a cold beer at his favorite bar to simply hang out and talk.
Though he harbors a hate for all undead, he has befriended a few undead who seemed to be actually nice people and like him simply branded as evil.
Ephielle Okairos
Race: Human(Demi-Goddess)
Gender: Female
Age: 3299
Psychological Profile(Personality)
After so many thousands of years, Ephielle has changed from the usual energetic person she once was. Now, she is a fairly jaded person after so many years of trying and failing to get her name recognized as a hero of myth. She is still sort of trying to do that, but now she takes a more laissez faire attitude when it comes to it, choosing to enjoy herself as much as she can and if by chance her name becomes recognized, then all the better, she has fun and becomes famous as well.
Background(Character Bio)
Ephielle is a very old person, though judging by her looks, you definitely could not say that since she says she looks just like she did when she was actually twenty years old during the Trojan War... yes, she is that old. Her seeming immortality is caused by the fact that she is a daughter of the god Poseidon and of a mortal mother that even she has forgotten the name of, much to her embarrassment.
Her first engagement was as part of the expedition to save Helen from the Trojan's in the conflict known as the Trojan War. There, among the many heroes, she hoped to carve her name in history at the expense of the Trojans. She participated in every assault, she participated in every fight, she befriended the many heroes of the Greek forces, Odysseus, Achilles, both Ajax the Greater and the Lesser and even the lesser known but incredibly badass hero, Diomedes.
She fought until the end of the war with the same ferocity of Achiles, especially when they had gotten into the city itself via the Trojan horse. After the war itself, she expected her name to be known by all, to be as praised for her prowess as the other heroes of the war, however, as the years passed, nobody spoke of her name, save only those close heroes that had met her personally. This made her feel personally insulted for a bit, however, that only drove her to fight even harder for recognition.
She then fought on the side of the side of the Greeks during the Persian Wars, then on the side of the Spartans during the Peloponnesian Wars, but once again, her name never came up later in the retelling of the famous historical tales. Then, she participated in Alexander the Great's campaign against the Persian Empire, where she personally led a group of Silver Shields in battle into victory after victory, however, once more, nobody but a few of the people she served with ever recognized her.
Since then, she has participated in conflicts great and small trying to get her name out there right up after WW2 when she saw the limits of human depravity, the lengths that humanity would try to go to achieve their vision of the world, in order to be great and to be remembered by the world.
For a while, that put her into a severe depression, just aimlessly living for a while, not really doing anything. However, a while later, a man she refuses to disclose the name of has pulled her from that and has been able to convince her to pursue that goal once more, though trying to enjoy life as best as she can while she does that.
And so far, working as an OTO has allowed her to do just that.
Assigned Division: Occult Tactics Operative Specialization Special Operations & Swat Close Quarter Combat(both armed and unarmed) Combat Training Physical Fitness

Relevant Experience(if applicable) Has fought for a few thousand years on all sorts of battlefields, though she has shown a preference for fighting in close quarters rather than using guns. Despite that, she is not above using long range weaponry if it suits the situation better.
Notes
Ephielle really does and enjoys only two things right now(three technically if you count drinking), constantly fighting other people and beasts as part of the OTO and hitting on really anything and anyone that catches her eyes. In regards to the latter, the more the person she is interested in plays hard to get, the more interested she becomes in them.
Ephielle has a daughter she has named Allya, though she rarely, if ever talks about her.
Race: Human Gender: Male Age: 27 Psychological Profile Thompson seems to enjoy putting on the facade of a hardened man of few words. He dislikes small talk and is mostly focused on his work. In most conversations he is curt and to the point, often rudely so, and will attempt to steer conversations away from his personal life should the conversation seem to be heading that way. Occasionally, cracks in his facade appear when dispatching enemies, where he will occasionally let loose a joke or one liner. Most of his colleagues have referred to him as having a quote "stick up his ass". This is, as previously stated, simply a facade. Thompson was questioned by his superiors about his behavior, where he revealed his true nature.
The Thompson beneath the facade is in fact just an average man trapped in a bit of a fantasy. He wishes to be like the heroes of the action movies he grew up on: tough, fearless, and no nonsense. In fact, when not taking on this persona, Thompson is rather awkward and stumbles upon his words, indicating the stoic part of his facade may be a "cool" way of covering up that part of himself. Officials have allowed him to continue maintaining this facade, but have asked him to tune it down and at least attempt to get to know his colleagues better. Thompson has been improving in that regard.
Background Thompson was born in New York City to a lower middle class family in Queens. As a child he grew up watching his father's assortment of movies, predominantly action films from the 80s and 90s. This caused a spark in the young Thompson, who wished to become an action hero as well and save lives. He originally planned on joining the military, but at 18 was only able to make it to the army reserves. There, he learned the majority of his training, but Thompson, hoping to go into combat, was disappointed when he served three years without seeing combat.
Rather than reenlist, Thompson returned to New York and became a SWAT officer, where he would occasionally see combat. His former peers noted how odd he was in his mannerisms, but did not act on it because of his efficiency. Thompson was dissatisfied with his work as a police officer, finding it "boring", and sought out any potentially new careers where he could do the same things on a more dangerous scale.
That was how he found the OIA, and without hesitation he resigned from the department and moved to New Carcosa to join them. He has worked at the Agency for a year as an Occult Tactics Operative. He has few friends in the Agency, most finding the persona he takes on creepy or annoying, and has (as said) been spoken to about it a week prior to this latest revision of his file. Thompson has been doing his best to improve and socialize with his colleagues.
Assigned Division: Occult Tactics Operative (Officer) Specialization Firearms Special Operations Crowd Control
Training Advanced Firearms Training Standard Close Combat Training Standard Athletic Training Basic Medical Training
Relevant Experience Three years in army reserves, five as a police and SWAT officer
Notes Thompson wears his tactical gear at all times when in the precinct, rarely taking it off. Colleagues express concern over his hygiene because of this. Without his helmet on, one would see that Thompson is an average looking Caucasian man with pale skin, brown eyes, and brown hair in a crew cut. Thompson has taken to calling himself "Reaper" and attempts to get his colleagues to call him by this nickname. Most ignore him and simply call him by his actual name.
Race: Half-elf Gender: Female Age: 37 Psychological Profile Devora is a diligent worker, but is also quite laid back at times, especially when she's in her 'office mode'. In such a setting, she can be quite friendly to almost anyone that enters her office. But when it comes to getting down to business, she's very serious about what she does, and doesn't allow for any distractions. Most might say she's a bit of a hard ass when it comes to such things.
On the field, Devora tends to be more merciful to beast-like creatures, unless she has strict orders to destroy them, rarely does she go against such orders. She sees these creatures as potential companions that will assist the organizations cause.
Devora enjoys messing with new recruits by introducing them to her Wendigo companion during their first training sessions. Background From a young age, Devora always had a special affinity with animals; she would often be followed around by stray dogs, cats, and the occasional family of rats as she walked through the streets, much to her parents chagrin. But as she grew older, the 'animals' that followed become somewhat.. stranger. Some of them had glowing marks or glowing eyes. Some melded into the shadows as they moved, but they never harmed her like they would anyone else. There were times when the beasts were more feral than the others, which forced her to subdue it in someway.. Such encounters have left her with quite a few scars. Worried, her parents asked the OIA to keep an eye on her. At first they didn't think it was a big deal.. Until they properly observed what was actually following her.
Devora made her first bond when she had just turned 20; During one of her walks through the streets, some of the rats that usually follow her around was carrying a strange looking egg, which had glowing blue markings on it. She decided to try hatch the egg, and (not really) to her surprise, a baby raven hatched from it. The moment it locked eyes with her, she felt a connection, unlike the usual imprinting. A bestial bond. The raven was quick to grow, becoming a faithful companion, who serves as her eyes in the sky.
It was at this point, the OIA made an official investigation into Devora's family and activities. For the most part it all seemed harmless outside of the supernatural beasts that attacked her previously. Due to her magical bond with the raven, they saw her as an asset to the Agency; putting her through rigorous tests and training.
Devora's reputation as a 'crazy cat lady' was quickly replaced with just 'crazy' after one of her missions. A mission to prevent the manifestation of a Wendigo. Her raven made the mission to find the would-be wendigo far smoother, but the hard part was stopping it. The tree was slowly becoming corrupted, and it's rampage had injured some of her squad. After some hesitation, she decided not to kill the beast as she had been ordered to. She instead placed a magical shackle on it, a shackle used to subdue larger magical beasts. Whether it would work on a would-be Wendigo was a huge gamble. Fortunately, it worked. The creature's corruption had ceased, but there was the problem of figuring out what to do with it.
A stack of paperwork later, Devora was ordered to keep it under control. Should it lose control, she would be responsible for putting it down. Assigned Division: Occult Tactics Operatives Specialization Physical Fitness Firearms Reconnaissance Tracking Beast Taming
Training(if applicable) Informal and Formal Hand-to-hand combat Standard Firearms training
Relevant Experience(if applicable) None. Notes - Devora affectionately refers to the Wendigo as "Sir Fluffles." - The raven's name is 'Akash' - Devora is able to see through the eyes of Akash via their link, however she goes blind whilst doing so. - Her office is more like a zoo for small magical beasts, containing many clear glass tanks. She even has a small demonic hermit crab in a glass bowl on her desk. - She uses an old school revolver, which has ammunition that is influenced by physical or magical means - She can fuse with her contracted beasts, giving her special attributes, ammunition, and sometimes new physiology.
Admin note: Character language isn't actually Icelandic, but due to its germanic origin, is used as a standin for the character's actual tongue, since I don't know proto-germanic well enough to do it justice.
The Keyholder("Serene")
"Subject shows aggressive behavior, possibly linked to time spent in suspended animation. Caution is heavily advised when engaging with Subject."
Race: European Dragon, Unknown Type, possible Hybrid Gender: Female Age: At least 3,500 years old Psychological Profile(Personality) Incredibly aggressive due to language barrier, subject, dubbed "Serene" as an inside joke by other agents, is usually calm when given certain materials, such as TV shows, picture books, or movies. Capable of understanding basic gestures and picture responses, patient should not be spoken to aggressively, and appears best tempered when referred to in a respectful manner. They appear to be very interested in modern science, and when sedate, follow researchers around, in almost "child-like" wonder. However, subject is incredibly intelligent, possibly on par with modern geniuses, and is not be allowed out of sight, due to past prior escape attempts. While uncleared for field activities due to nature, they have been allowed to study crime scene photos, and has shown some degree of helpfulness in regards to magitech and certain organizations.
Background(Character Bio) 1910, Iceland A team of reseachers discover a set of ruins inside of the dormant volcanoes, dating back roughly 3,000 years, based on carbon dating. Icongraphy inside shows information on an unknown civilianization, that appeared to be originally native to Europe, but fled to the island. Further research is halted by the First World War. However, files are later recovered by German Occultists, pointing towards a being of immense magical power residing in the Amazon. The language, pictographical in nature, remains untranslated until the 2000s, following Operation: Feathered Serpent
1950, the Amazon Rainforest Five years after the fall of Nazi Germany, a group of survivors who escaped to Brazil are captured by the government after the survivors are found badly wounded. Military report indicates that they entered the jungle in search of occult power to try and build a Fourth Reich and possibly resurrect Adolf Hitler. However, something drove them mad, and resulted in the death of both several top Nazi officials and their guides. Local tribes refer to a site deep within the Amazon as the "cursed temple," and when asked to depict why, an entity similar to the Feathered Serpent is found. Files are redacted and remain buried until an information breach by a whistlerblower alerts the OIC to a situation in the 90s
1996, the Amazon Rainforest, Operation: Feathered Serpent Following the discovery of files from before the First World War and the Brazil incident, an OIC team is dispatched to the Amazon Rainforest in search of the "Cursed Temple," which is believed to be some sort of Eldritch summoning system. Local screened civilians are used as guides. OIC task force known as "Serpent's Fangs" arrive at the location, and find human remains, both of the Nazi party from 1950, and far older remains which are later carbon dated to range from around 1300 B.C.E. to as late as 1900 C.E. Site is a temple carved from limestone, and appears to be sealed. Examination reveals canisters akin to chemical weapons hidden. Team equips gas masks and suits, and proceed to attempt to undo the seal. Sigils carved into the door are later discovered to be of a Proto-Germanic origin, mixed with an unknown tongue similar to that found in Iceland. Later translation indicates that they are "curses" meant to keep whatever is inside dormant and to keep people out. Door refuses to budge, explosives are used, resulting in a successful breach. Team enters "Cursed Temple," while locals refuse to enter. An antechamber is found inside, containing what appears to strangely resemble a sort of "stone computer," a carved map on the wall shows several other chambers, as well as a shaft leading down at a safe angle. Rooms on main level are cleared, and appear to contain the bodies of a previously unknown cult, as well as European remains that appear to have been torn apart. Markings match talons found on an ancient skeleton in Poland believed to be a type of dragon. Carvings located throughout appear to depict an ancient civilianization that may have ruled over parts of the world, but this cannot be confirmed. The Team advances to the shaft leading further, and one agent triggers a pressure plate by mistake, triggering a spike trap, but which fails due to advanced age. Team descends through shaft, and discover a vault like door, made of stainless steel, suggesting that the temple may have been built atop some sort of previously unknown super advanced civilization, possibly the one previously depicted.
Door is forced open, and team enters, discovering a large vault, containing machinery similar to modern times, but clearly abandoned. Team leader reports a faint layer of dust and an odor akin to a decaying body. In the middle of the room, on a raised panel, behind some sort of "barrier," is a stone chest, akin to that of a Egyptian mummy case. Inside is a sealed metallic container, roughly shaped like that of a humanoid, but what lies inside is unknown. The Team is ordered to remove the casket like object, which is found to weigh less than expected. Post mission examination reveals that the coffin like device is made from an unknown metallic alloy which while lightweight, is incredibly durable. Removal of object triggers defenses, toxic gases(later revealed to be cyanide) flood the chamber, team is unable to leave via entrance, vault doors have sealed shut. Tremors are felt, suggestive of explosive charges being detonated, and an unknown chemical begins to flood in from hidden hatches located ten meters below ground level. A hidden escape route is found in the back of the chamber, and team escapes with cargo, exiting into a metal chamber that slopes slightly down. Shortly after entering, another trap is triggered, a large iron sphere lined with razor sharp spikes is released, chasing the team down the corridor. Sawblades are observed to emerge ahead of the team, killing one Agent, a John Denver, and cutting off the nose of Agent Smith Evans. Team Leader and survivors manage to escape the corridor, which is lined with still more traps, including a floor spike trap and flamethrowers, and find themselves inside of what seems to be a mine shaft leading to the surface. Below them is believed to be a passage that leads to unknown treasures, perhaps even a source of the city of gold myth. Team ascends with package, and is able to safely escape the rising levels of gas. Team is located roughly 200 meters beyond tomb entrance, return to extraction point, and are flown back to a forward base. "Coffin" is transported to the States, and placed into storage at headquarters. Recovery teams are deployed to the site, and recover much of the technology and material remains. Combined with the inscriptions from the Icelandic Ruins, research into the language begins.
1997, OIC Headquarters During routine examination of all files, coffin from Cursed Temple is brought out for tests to be run. Upon exposure to x-rays, researchers are astounded to discover that there is a life form within. Efforts are made to open capsule, but result in death of two researchers due to [REDACTED]. Object is put into high security storage and research into lost civilization is placed on the backburner while research into other projects go ahead.
2015, OIC Headquarters; High Security Storage. Members of a cult believed to be descended from the one discovered at the Cursed Temple attempt to raid OIC HQ, and breach HSS, only to be dispatched by object, which apparently opened upon a word spoken by the cultist leader, who had [REDACTED] occur. Security footage is modified to avoid problems. Security teams secure storage facility, and find the capsule open, the entity detected within now free, huddled within a corner of storage space. Covered in blood, subject wears a skintight outfit made of an unknown bio-organic material, akin to a "environmental" or "pilot" suit. Entity does not respond to attempts to communicate, and turns aggressive when attempted to be removed for study. Two agents are killed, and four more are put into critical care. Tranquilizer gas canisters are forced to be used when attempts to dart reveal subject has skin resistant to such. Once target is subdued, they are collared and moved to research, where a full body scan reveals them to be of "reptilian" origin, bearing scales under the skin, and growths that may be a form of wings, which are now ragged stumps on subject's back, emerging from the suit. Suit resists attempts to remove, and patient is moved to a high security cell until further tests can be run. Multiple escape attempts occur over a period of the next year, and further testing confirms that subject is of "dragonic" origin, after an attempt to capture resulted in the subject breathing fire and producing electrical shocks from hands.
By this time, attempts at translating subject's "tongue" have begun to bear fruit. Files indicate that a formerly hyper advanced reptilian civilization, based in various parts of the globe, existed prior to earliest known historical records. Subject is the currently only known survivor, and appeared to hold onto a relic that was meant to protect Earth. Information indicates that a precursor to the OIC destroyed the civilization around 5000 years ago, and that the presumed parents of "Serene" dubbed so by agents as a joke, were killed around 1,500 B.C.E., and "Serene" fled to the Americas, where they were worshipped as a goddess by the locals, which later became the Feathered Serpent of Olmec, Mayan, and Aztec myth. Around 1,300 B.C.E., ancestors of the cult that attacked Headquarters were able to separate the subject from their relic and using stolen technology, imprisoned entity inside of the Temple, and carved the sigils in a mistaken effort at keeping "Serene" imprisoned, and intruders out. Cult is believed to be behind the ruins in Iceland, perhaps leaving them as a warning to trick others into thinking that the subject was a demonic entity, and thus a threat to the world.
Present Day Subject has seemed to grow less physically aggressive with time. While prone to outbursts and occasional "tantrums" when not given "proper" treatment, there has been no deaths. Two further raids by the cult were made, and subject was allowed to perform [REDACTED], which has proven effective. Subject remains in high profile security cell, but is allowed one hour of movement around the eating area. A diet high in red meats are required to sustain subject's metabolism, and subject, after watching an "anime" has requested that an outfit be made of a character from the show. Research is ongoing to determine if the show was somehow influenced by subject, due to the anime character's 1:1 resemblance. Subject has shown complete control over biomechanical suit, removing it to clean itself, and has begun using cotton clothing to sleep in, and based on rudimentary communication, the subject finds cotton to be comfortable. Due to repeated use of a word when presented with pictures of various meat animals, it is presumed that said word is subject's version of "food" or of "meat." Translation efforts have advanced enough that language is confirmed to be similiar to proto-german tongues, and an intreperator has been assigned to help, a one Doctor Wolfenstein, who is proficient in ancient European languages. Subject is now allowed to act as an "intern," due to their knowledge of ancient times, and may prove essential in understanding ongoing efforts to combat magical and extra-planar threats.

Notes After [REDACTED], subject is not allowed to watch any Nightmare on Elm Street films, due to subject seeming to believe that Freddy Kruger is real. Research is ongoing into possibility that Dream Demons exist, and that some supernatural horrors may be more grounded in reality than previously believed. Subject is also forbidden to watch John Carpenter's The Thing, due to concerns that subject may mistake fictional events for real. However, subject is allowed to watch any horror films that do not deal with supernatural concepts, though all Friday XIII films are considered an exception, due to [REDACTED]. And for gods sake, whoever thought it was a good idea to let her watch Corpse Party is going to be demoted, subject repeatedly expressed fear. For the future, don't show her Japanese Horror, unless we're positive it contains no supernatural entities. Even animated horror is a risk.
However, all Dragonball Series are permitted. Yes, even the parts with demons. Subject appears to understand that the series is "fake" and thus will not attempt to identify supernatural elements. However, don't let her watch Harry Potter.
On second thought, keep all supernatural live action programs away from her, no matter if horror or not. Unless cleared with superiors.
Race: Human - [Ability] Detachable: Nova was born with a peculiar ability to remove her limbs, which then become a somewhat hardened material when detached. There have been numerous incidents in the past, notably when she first discovered her ability, where her limbs have fallen off on their own as she doesn’t have a firm control of when they do. Nova also isn’t sure if her head is detachable as well, but isn’t too keen on finding out.
Gender: Female Age: 22
Psychological Profile(Personality) Nova expects people to be caught off-guard when she tells them about what she plans to do for a living. Usually optimistic, cheerful, and a bit of a daydreamer in day-to-day life, Nova isn’t exactly the poster child for violent crime investigation. She has yet to experience and become desensitised by the horrors that come with the job, so she luckily remains her bubbly self, for now. Consequently, her traits may lead many to view her as naive or immature, which isn’t helped by her age and inexperience. Nova doesn’t see herself to be particularly witty or confident either, but tries to appear that way as she’s rather self-conscious about being perceived as incompetent.
While on the job, Nova takes her work seriously and strives to overcome her shortcomings. Making mistakes, however, seems to be in her nature, and being scrutinized for them is becoming a dull routine. She believes her airheadedness is to blame, and often catches herself spacing out in the middle of completing tasks. Her mind has a tendency to wander, but Nova has seen an improvement with her habits and it happens less often now.
Background(Character Bio) There’s not much outstanding about Nova’s background; she was born into a basic, nuclear family with a set of parents and a younger brother, and spent most of her life in the education system. Her parents were human and performed very human jobs - the father, an accountant, and the mother, a high school maths teacher. Nova was very prepared to head down a similar path - perhaps she’d take up dentistry, or marketing, or something as equally mundane.
There’s a particular memory Nova can recall with crystal clear quality, which happened around the start of her third grade. She was in class, sitting at her desk as students do, when a medley of three soft thuds interrupted the teacher’s spelling lesson. It took a moment to process what was going on, from the shocked horror on the faces of those around her, to her limbs, with the exception of her left arm, that landed on the floor like a set of mannequin parts. The thick silence didn’t last long, cut by terrified screams from some of those around her. It seemed that the supernatural denizens of the class were not completely horrified, though shocked, while those who knew Nova to be a normal human were the most perturbed.
Nova picked up a leg with her remaining arm, dazed for a moment at the sight of the cross section of her thigh, before her instincts told her to try to reattach it. It was easier than expected, a feeling similar to the click that the lid for a tube of lip balm makes. She started wearing a full bodysuit under her regular clothes to school the next day.
In her high school years, Nova came to realize how dissatisfied she was with where her life was going. She felt somewhat special after gaining a ‘superpower’, though it was kind of useless in most practical scenarios she could think of. As Nova pondered on about her future, by chance, she walked past a crime scene on her way back home. Police tape barred her from getting close, as forensic specialists and detectives swarmed about. Despite this, she caught a glimpse of the mangled corpse, poorly covered by a white tarp, and reflexively retched at the sight. An officer caught her actions, and promptly ushered her away from the scene.
The event continued to eat at Nova’s mind through the years, even though the first thing she wanted to do upon returning home was to forget about it all. Slowly, she became interested in criminology - she watched crime dramas and researched case studies online as a hobby.
It took Nova awhile to finally make the jump to detective work. She continued on her original plan - going to college - for a couple of years, before finally committing to her passions and applying for police academy. It’s a wonder how she managed to graduate from it, having done little to no physical training prior, but she showed an aptitude for classwork and investigative field exercises. Upon graduation, Nova was placed with a conditional contract with the OIA as a trainee.
Training(if applicable) Standard Firearm Training Standard Athletic Training (not that she’s good at this after training) Partially completed bachelor’s degree in psychology, with a focus on criminology She took some French courses in college Basic first aid
Relevant Experience(if applicable) Fresh out of police academy, so mock investigations, if that counts (probably not).
Notes Despite the police training, at home, Nova is rather lazy and prefers to live the life of a hermit, often shutting herself in on the weekends to catch up with her favourite series, and consuming way too much cup ramen. She absolutely loathes mondays, but will drag her ass out of bed to make a living. Now that she’s a detective, she’s really hoping murderers will take the weekends off as well, to save her from being called to a crime scene during her break.
Nova, having been surrounded by peers her age her whole life through schooling, is rather uncomfortable interacting with those older than her. It doesn’t interfere too much with her daily activities, but in more social contexts, the awkwardness is killing her on the inside.
