It wouldn't have mattered what Eirika said, Yang became lost in his own thoughts as discussions happened around him. At some point, he was certain he held hands on his shoulder on two separate occasions. Kind words offered to him and to the late Master, as well as an offer to take Yang up on his invitation to seek out the Temple. So he would have sparring partners after all. That would take some getting used to, admittedly. Yang's life was spent mostly in solitary training, either alone or under his Master. The idea of training alongside others had never really come up, but perhaps having partners would make for more effective training?

"Thank you." the words escaped his lips in a hushed tone, not at all like the shouts and angry or serious tones he had displayed up until now. Everything was still sinking, still being processed in his head. At the same time, he couldn't help but wonder where exactly this temple was located. Master said it was far to the North, but unfortunately that was vague at best. There was one possible place to fit the description, Yang wasn't completely certain. Even so, maybe it would make a good starting point.

As the others began to leave or make their plans, Yang spoke again, to the two who had accepted his invitation, "If you don't mind, I need to take Master's body to his home. He'd want to be buried there, I'm sure. Do what you need to do, make your preparations, then come and find me at Yunzabit Heights." he said to Korvus and Ryuhei, "That has to be where the temple is, I'm sure of it. I've heard the cold and winds at Yunzabit Heights can be unforgiving, so I'd suggest bringing warm clothes just in case." now he was kneeling down as he spoke and carefully picking up Feng's body in his arms before slowly lifting into the air, "I'll see you there!" he said with a nod before letting himself fly away to the west.

Yang flew to west, beyond Ginger Town and kept going until a large forest came into view on the horizon. This was Yahho Forest, a mostly uninhabited forest wilderness. Within awaited the home of Feng. A modest house that seemed to be a Capsule home that had cabin-like extensions connected to it. Just beyond the house, there was a grove containing a lone grave. Yang landed here with Feng's body, gently placing it on the ground before setting to work preparing a new grave next to the one already here. The tombstone for the grave read the name "Lian". Yang didn't know much about Lian, Master always seeming to clam up whenever asked and having no desire to talk about it. Yang did learn over time that Lian was the Master's daughter, and apparently died some years before he found and took in Yang. Beyond that, Yang knew nothing else about Lian.

Still, it seemed the right thing to do to make sure Master was buried near his family, and home. And so that was what Yang did, he buried Feng next to Lian's grave and then went to work sculpting a new gravestone to mark it using the tools at Feng's home. When he was finished, he stood and stared at the new grave, remaining silent for what felt like an eternal moment. Then, he held up his right hand before making a deep bow before the grave, "Rest in peace, Master. I hope you've reunited with Lian... and I will get stronger. I'll make sure your sacrifice wasn't in vain, and that none will ever have to make such an ultimate choice again. I promise you." after this he turned away and returned to the home nearby.

Yang's clothes had been damaged in the battle against Dyce. So the first thing he did was change into a fresh martial arts Gi. He took one from what used to be his own room, some of his Gi's had been left in the closet in the event he ever returned to train again. He picked out a blue Gi identical to his first one, but also took the liberty of putting on a white long sleeved shirt underneath it. If what he heard about Yunzabit Heights was true, then Yang would need to heed his own advice and dress more warmly. He packed together a few extra Gi's and changes of clothes, and enough food that he could ration it over the course of a month or two. Finally, he went to Master's closet and borrowed one of his old spare cloaks. Hopefully it and the long sleeves would be enough to keep him warm without compromising too much of his ability to move in a fight. Finally, he picked up the small book Master had given him before dying and read the first page.

Yang,

If you're reading this, then I am likely dead. All these years, I've known so much about you but hardly revealed anything to you about myself. The purpose of these journal entries is to change that. I've been writing in these pages on and off for many years, and while I can say with certainty that everything I've told you is true, these pages contain the full story of what really happend. And once you learn everything, perhaps you'll understand a bit more about myself, about Lian... and even yourself as well.

~Feng.

Yang then packed the book with his supplies and left the house. Outside, he floated upward and turned to face the North, where Yunzabit Heights awaited beyond the horizon. With a final look at Feng's - and his - old home, Yang steeled himself for whatever awaited him and started flying straight and forward.

Okora carefully looked around the village as she tried to take a closer look at the people around her. None of the people around here seemed to be afraid of Grisha. The only one who seemed to have an issue with Grisha was the old man who had been covered by snow. That was understandable. If she had been in the same predicament she would have had an issue with it.

The people here...they aren't afraid of Grisha. I wonder why that is? If he really is a Saiyan then why are these people still alive anyway? Maybe Grisha ran away from Planet Vegeta like me. I suppose it makes sense, I couldn't be the only one who hated our way of life.

She turned towards the woman who Grisha had identified as Lena and smiled as she extended her hand. "It's nice to meet you." She said somewhat cheerfully. "So your the famous Lena Grisha has been talking about." She turned to look at the house and the path which were now both covered in snow.

"Sorry about the path getting covered in snow. I can shovel it for you if that helps."

Name: Pokkin
Race: Beastman
Ki Color: █████████████
Power Level: 910
Location: Fukurou Forest, Yunzabit Heights
Tag: @Double@CaptainSully@King Cosmos Open

For a while, Pokkin had been standing in the center of her town, with her eyes closed, sensing the insane power level that had decimated Parsley City in it's entirety. Since the explosion she had told the rest of the townspeople, including her own son, to stay inside while she, the strongest fighter in the town by far, lay in wait. If the being that did this came here, she would hold it off while everybody escaped. When it started systematically heading to, and beating, other strong fighters with similar power to her own, Pokkin realised that it was systematically hunting down strong fighters, and it must be sensing them or otherwise tracking them. Pokkin immediately lowered her ki, and left the confines of the town. If it still decided to come for her, the town would be safe.

Luckily it never came, probably due to her ki suppression. What's more it seemed like the strong power levels were converging and teaming up against the monster. Would they win? Did they need her help? Would she even get there in time? She couldn't fly. She would have to run all the way there, and it was far away, further away that she had ever traveled before. Plus, she couldn't abandon her village with no warning. She would have to go and tell them what her plans were, and possibly even say goodbye.

The fight was so fast, and so frantic, and so hard to keep up with, that it was over while she was still contemplating this. The insanely high power level disappeared. Then several of the high power levels started heading for her. If they defeated the thing that had destroyed Parsley City, then they were good, right? Even so, Pokkin couldn't be too careful, and returned to the town. Even though they were strong, Pokkin had a chance with these power levels. Although she waited, they didn't reach the town. One of them stopped in the neighboring forest, before heading north.

Finally realising the coast in clear, Pokkin breathed a sigh of relief, and went around telling the townspeople that it was okay and safe now. Finally she headed to her own house, where her son was waiting. He was asleep. The excitement of the day had tired him out. Pokkin planted a kiss on his forehead, tucked him in properly, and then wrote him a note, explaining that the danger had passed, everything was safe, and his mother was going to find out more about what exactly happened. She also told the same general message to several of the senior townspeople, before heading out.

She ran north, through the forests and woodlands, until she reached the coast, whereupon she leapt in the water and swam with the speed and power of the fastest speedboats currently built. She was only going this slow because she wasn't in a rush and didn't want to tire herself out in the unlikely case that she needed to fight later. After a while of swimming, the icy cliffs of Yunzabit Heights were in view. With one powerful leap, pushing off from the water, Pokkin scaled the cliff and laded on terra firma. She once again closed her eyes to focus, to shut out all five earthly senses, and tried to sense the ki of the fighter who came here.

Korvus watched as Ryuhei elevated himself into the air. The man directed several words to the bereaved before making his way off. As Ryuhei left to head towards his injured Korvus spoke one last time to the man known as Yang. “Again, I am sorry for your loss. I hope I will see you again soon.” Korvus launched himself up into the air and expended as much energy as he needed to catch up to Ryuhei.

They had flown for several moments before Korvus broke the silence. “I am relieved that your masters injuries are not life threatening. I can only imagine how it must feel to have someone so close to you die.” The concept of death wasn’t entirely alien to the android but he couldn’t truly grasp the emotional impact of loss. It was probably more due to the fact he had never truly lost anyone close to him. Maybe he had to lose someone himself before he’d every really understand. Even so, he was happy that there wasn’t any further deaths as a result of whatever has attacked these people.

“If you do not mind me asking, what is the style of martial art you use?” Korvus was full of questions most of the time, purely because there was so much of the world he still had to see. It meant he was inquisitive but he had learnt to dial it back a bit. He found people were often receptive to a couple of questions but by time he was at question ten people were clearly more frustrated. He was visibly and even emotionally more human than when he was first activated, but he still had a way to go.

Power Level: 1365

So you’re the famous Lena…

Lena blushed. Grisha always talked about her? She glanced over at the giant who was also blushing and grinning in his embarrassment. When Okora offered to shovel the path, Tobias insensitively said, “Please do.”

The blonde gasped at her father’s lack of manners. “Dad, we can’t ask our guest to do that!”

Tobias paused in the doorway and then peered over his shoulder at Lena, Okora, and then finally Grisha. “Then Grisha can do it.”

Grisha raised a hand to his brow in salute. “Grisha find food!” and instantly, the giant had bolted away.

Tobias’s face flushed red as he grumbled, “That big, stupid…” Turning away from the door, he reached down to pick up the shovel.

Lena forced a smile as she then looked over at Okora. “Don’t mind them. They have a special relationship. Hey! You want to help me cook? Grisha always returns with something big to eat, and so the village tends to prepare sides until then. I was thinking we could prepare some icicle turnips, snow loaves, and white potatoes. We have everything in the garden next to the house. We just have to go harvest it all and prepare it!”

The blonde, blue-eyed girl seemed very excited to have someone new around. For a long time, it had always been her and the two other males in the household. If Okora planned to stick around, then she would have another girl to have some feminine time with. At least that was what she was mainly thinking. She was unaware that Okora hailed from a race of alien warriors who loved conflict and conquering formidable opponents.

As Lena led Okora around to the side of the house where the garden was, she dropped to her knees and started digging through the snow for the frozen vegetables underneath. The frigid weather acted as a refrigerator, but unlike other vegetables found in other regions, the ones that grew around Kousetsu adapted to growing in the cold.

“It’s so nice having another girl around. I mean, I love Grisha and my Dad and all, but there are just some things that I can’t say around them. They wouldn’t understand. And Grisha always tends to leave for a long time into the mountains. I grow bored waiting for him to return. The house becomes pretty boring when he’s gone. As much as I find the bickering between him and my father annoying, I kind of miss it when it doesn’t happen. I guess I find it a little entertaining at times,” she started to ramble as she pulled on the stalk of a turnip. She grasped it with both hands and her face scrunched up as she pulled with all of her might. Suddenly with a pop!, the turnip came free causing her to fall back. Lena sighed in relief and sat up. “These turnips are pretty difficult…”

Name: Erika Beryl
Race: Bio-engineered Human
Location: West Capitol - Dr. Tread's lab
Power Level: 1365
Tag: Closed

"Welcome back Erika, so glad you could make it on such short notice." Dr. Tread didn't even look up from her tablet as she poured over the data taken from the final fighting grounds as Erika walked into the underground laboratory. The current laboratory was located under a shopping complex where an 'out of service' elevator let people into the secret lair. They may have been a government site but it was always better to keep things secret.

"Always so caring Dr. Tread." Erika scoffed and sat over on a nearby chair.

"I don't want to hear any complaining from you my dear after your trashed another bike. You don't want me to have to start siphoning your paycheck now do you?"

"Ya ya, I'll shut up doctor."

"Anyway these readings are quite informative on both the alien remains, though frankly there isn't much left to salvage at all, and your new friends."
Data had been streaming in from the drones as they analyzed and bagged the remaining alien armor fragments which had almost made their way back to the lab. Information on the fighters also had been trickling in, mostly photos and some power level readings but also some hair and blood samples from those they could find.

"Well at least they were useful." Erika scowled and crossed her arms as she laid back and thought about what had transpired. If it hadn't been for them, things would not have gone as well as they did. Sure it was possible she could have won since she had confirmed she could cut the alien but most likely she would have either lost or died in the process. "Doubt I'll see them again anyway..."

Dr. Tread put the tablet to the side and rubbed her temples in annoyance. "Look Erika, I know all this isn't a life you chose for yourself but you are quite important you know that?"

"What? As a lab specimen?"

"That too of course but also as a defense against just such threats we saw today." Dr. Tread brought up a big display which showed a reconstruction of the green alien they had just fought. There was also a photo of something in the sky but it was rather hard to make out. "The government believes that is the sighting of an alien spacecraft that fled the scene after this Dyce fellow was destroyed. The obvious conclusion is that there are more aliens out there, either more green men or some other threat that probably won't take too kindly to what just happened to what was probably just an advanced operative."

"Wonderful, maybe I can make a salad next time." Erika grumbled as she made a bad joke about the vegetable like alien. "Anyway I think who said it was time for some more DNA splicing or whatever else crap you do to jack up my body."

"Indeed, if you would enter the capsule as usual." Dr. Tread motioned to a large round tube with a ladder leading up to the top. The capsule was about two and a half meters high with a bunch of wires and tubes at the top of it. The container was completely transparent and was filled with a strange, blue colored liquid.

"Fine." Erika grumbled as she stripped down to the nude, if one looked at her body it was easy to see quite a bit of scar tissue on her back and legs from intense training, experiments, and fights. The healing liquid was only a dramatic increase to one's natural healing abilities so scars still remained.

"You know Erika, they may not be government agents but it wouldn't hurt to get a bit more friendly with those fighters you met."

"Oh? Want me to get all buddy-buddy with them, maybe see if I can pet the giant gorilla and get him under your control?" Erika stretched, not caring that she was naked and then climbed up the ladder to the top of the tube. At the top were the wires and tubes connected to a helmet and a sort of back brace designed for easy injections.

As she put on the helmet and brace Dr. Tread continued the conversation. "His intelligence did seem a bit low so maybe that might actually work, but jokes aside I do worry about you and your social ineptness."

Erika groaned and finished strapping in, then she stepped into the tank and floated to the bottom, soon the tubes started to pump fluids into her system and she started to feel the chemicals start to take effect as she stared out at Dr. Tread. As she heard her talk she started to fall asleep, her eyes growing heavier and heavier as she droned on.

"We've already given you some of the best genes that humans can offer so now we'll start splicing in other, stronger species to really give you a more combat potential. One of the strongest species on Earth is that of dragon kind but if I introduce such a strong strain right away I'm afraid your body might reject it, so we'll start with some Giras DNA first. The Giras have very strong dinosaur traits but are still quite humanoid so there should be few compatibility issues. As their strength is naturally quite high when compared to humans I should expect some significant increases in strength, though of course as always you will need train to fully grasp your new power."

At this point Erika was already asleep and Dr. Tread, somewhat lovingly, put a hand on the capsule as she watched the machine at work to rewrite her genetic code even further. "You really need to break out of your shell or the weight of everything forced upon you, will crush you one day. You know, your family should be having a birthday celebration coming up soon for your sister, you really should visit them even if you can not longer be the family heir." She slowly dropped her hand and went over to a desk and wrote a quick note that Erika would see after the procedure was done. She also left a card next to it.

Erika, go give yourself some time to adjust and go visit your family. As usual here is their invitation. Ultimately it is up to you of course but I'm sure they'll be happy, even if they hate my guts.

Take care, Dr. Tread

P.S. Really, just get together with some of those new fighter friends of yours, that way I don't have to make new training equipment all the time.

The flight to the dojo was short, since it was in the same city as the final battle, but even so Ryuhei was glad not to have to make the journey in silence as Korvus strove to make conversation. “We were lucky; Dyce ambushed us and beat us before we could try and fight back, but somehow he didn’t manage to kill either of us.” It was almost a miracle given the way that Master Goichi had been stabbed through the chest that he had survived. Perhaps, as an alien, Dyce didn’t know enough about human anatomy to know where to strike a fatal blow? Or maybe they had just been fortunate and the warrior had missed. “I can’t imagine what that man’s feeling after losing his master. Master Goichi changed my life.”

They had covered half the distance with that question alone; it wouldn’t take long at all before they arrived. “I use Kyokushin Karate or a version of it anyway. Master Goichi has been teaching me for years and now I help him as an instructor ever since I earned my black belt. What about you? If you showed up to fight you must be pretty confident.”

“These turnips are pretty difficult…”

Okora smiled faintly as Lena had trouble pulling the turnips out. She got down on her knees and began searching under the snow for turnips and began to pull them out one after the other with careful efficiency. "Here, let me take care of that." She said with another faint smile as she continued pulling turnips up. Okora grabbed a large armful of turnips and turned to face Lena. "Do we have enough of them?"

"I apologize if this sounds like an odd question, but what do you know about Grisha? When did he first show up? How does he act around everyone?"

Okora couldn't help but be curious. In her experience, the rest of her people weren't that friendly. They killed. They conquered and they seemed to enjoy doing it. Why was Grisha different?

Name: Yang
Race: Earthling/Human
Ki Color: White
Power Level: 1,365
Location: Yunzabit Heights
Tag: @Silver Carrot Open

Just as Yang had heard, Yunzabit Height was a cold place. It wasn't all ice, most of that could only be found on the highest peaks of the island. That didn't stop the island from having a brisk chill, made even more unforgiving by the near constant winds that blew over the island. It was almost like this island was an epicenter of sorts for air currents that traveled to the rest of the planet. Yang stopped when he reached the shoreline and hovered in place in the air. The wind gave him a chill, and his borrowed cloak flew behind him like a flag. Yang scanned the initial area, seeing no structures or any signs of life.

"Must be further into the island..." he muttered to himself, and prepared to fly further inland. But he stopped when he suddenly sensed that he wasn't alone. Someone was relatively near, apparently having just arrived. This was Good, Yang believed, assuming it must have been Korvus or Ryuhei catching up to him. He flew to where he felt the power level, but could see no one. At least, not in the air. That didn't make much sense. Surely they would have flown here, right? Still, the power level was right around here somewhere, in fact Yang had to be practically on top of it.

The only place they could be then, was on the ground. So Yang lowered his altitude until his feet gently touched the ground of a plateau. He looked around, scanning the area for any sign of life. That was when he spotted the Beastman, a wolf or other canine type, possibly female if their height and physique was any indication. Yang approached her, but slowly. She was a stranger to him, after all, and Yang was nothing if not cautious, "Hello?" he said once he would have been in earshot, "Do you live here? Perhaps in a temple?" there was always a chance that she was whom he was sent to find, so Yang had to be sure.

Korvus smiled at Ryuhei’s words. For having only met moments before the martial artist was being very open with the android. It made him feel some semblance of acceptance and as if he was doing a good job of coming across as human.

“My style is...different,” Korvus said. “I have been trained in many styles and it has all become a sort of fusion of arts. I have no real name for it but I am confident in its usefulness.”

The pair continued to speak a while longer until they finally reached the dojo. Korvus landed first and took the time to survey the damage to allow Ryuhei to find his master. It was a pretty horrible sight, damage to the building and grounds seemed extensive and would take a considerable amount of time to repair. He looked at the rubble for a while before going after Ryuhei.

With her eyes still closed, Pokkin could sense that there was nobody nearby and she'd have to venture further north. Before she opened her eyes and continues to set off, she felt somebody approaching, somebody who was stronger than her. It felt like the one she'd felt before. It was above her, and it was descending. She opened her eyes, and tuned back into her earthly senses. She might need them. What landed was a human, with a shaved head and in a martial arts gi. He asked her if she lived herein a civil manner, and she immediately relaxed and let her guard down somewhat.

"No. I just got here. I actually think I was tracking your ki, but I wanted to know what happened. What happened to Parsley City, and to that very strong being who came out of the sky, and that's when I felt a very high power level come very close to my town in Fukurou Forest and then head north. That must have been you. I'm Pokkin."

Ryuhei ran towards the entrance of the dojo as soon as the pair touched the ground, jogging through the door past students carrying rubble out into the street and hurrying down familiar hallways towards the training room where he had last seen Master Goichi. When he reached it, he found Goichi still sitting where he had left him, the older martial artist already looking in his direction; no doubt the man had sensed their power levels approaching.

“You’re alive.” There was no expression on Master Goich’s face that showed he was surprised or pleased by this fact, just the same gruff exterior he always had. Nonetheless Ryuhei couldn’t help but grin as he heard the small hint of relief in his master’s voice.

“Yes.” Ryuhei walked forward and stopped in front of Goichi before giving a small bow of greeting. “You were right; I wasn’t the only one there to fight Dyce. In fact, I barely did anything before he was defeated.”

Goichi lowered his gaze to the floor and nodded. Just as he had expected Dyce much have been targeting a number of powerful individuals other than them and must have made a lot of enemies along the way; although he could defeat them one or two at a time, when everyone he had left alive grouped up to fight him he didn’t stand a chance.

“There was, ah, there was one casualty. Everyone else survived because of him.” Goichi raised his eyes back to Ryuhei only to find his student now looking at the floor, the young martial artist thinking back to the scene of the young man holding his master as he died.

“Who’s the other fighter you brought with you?”

“Ah.” Looking his master in the face again, embarrassed to have momentarily forgotten Korvus and his reason for coming here. “Someone from the battle. He’s here to take you to the hospital. Don’t argue! You’re hurt and everyone can handle the clean up without you.”

Master Goichi snapped his mouth shut, his objection quashed before he could even voice it. He rallied quickly however, and soon had another argument ready. “And what about your training?”

“There’s a temple to the north of here. One of the fighters is heading there and invited to rest of us to join him. Apparently it can make us all stronger and it might be useful to learn some new techniques; they were vital to defeating Dyce.”

“Hmm, fine. Let’s meet this friend of yours.”

Walking into the dojo Korvus received a few glances from the students he walked past. Most were too busy struggling to carry heavy slabs of rubble outside to actually challenge him being inside their dojo. They would most surely be concerned with a stranger being inside, especially so soon after the recent invader. Even so Korvus did his best to reduce any concern by smiling at those he came across and providing some help where he could.

Soon enough Korvus had reached Ryuhei and his master. The fighter approached slowly and bowed towards the older gentleman in front of him. “Greetings. My name is Korvus. Ryuhei told me you might be injured so I offered my assistance.” Korvus continued towards the man who from a visual assessment didn’t seem to be in any immediate danger. “I am capable of teleporting myself and one other in almost an instant to place that I have visited previously. In your case I’ll be able to get you to the hospital in mere moments.”

Korvus continued to smile as he came to a stop, looking over to Ryuhei. “Once I get your master to the hospital I’ll return and we can head to that dojo.” His glance returned to the master once more. “Are you ready?”

Kin explained everything including what had happened with the alien threat and after he finished, Rand was in shock at what he heard. He had never thought that his friend would be Magnetar the superhero of their city.

"So you defeated the alien with the help of some other people? cool!" Rand replied and Kin nodded.

"Hay, can you show me your superpowers? Let's get out of this place and go somewhere where you can demonstrate."

"I'm not sure" Kin replied.

"Come on, let's see what you can do Kin" his friend pleaded. After a moment of thinking, Kin gave in and decided to head out of the house with his friend. fortunately his parents were out and they were able leave his home and Kin grabbed Rand by the shoulders and hoisted him up into the air and flew to a more obscure place where they wouldn't be seen by lots of people. Kin decided that a junk yard was the best place to practice his abilities.

"Okay Kin, let's see what you can do" Rand said and Kin proceeded to use his electromagnetism to make scraps of metal to lift off the ground.

"Oh that is so cool!" Rand exclaimed. Kin let the metal fall to the ground and then he got an idea.

"Hay Rand can you try hitting me with one of those metal bars? I want to test something" he said to his friend and Rand looked puzzled, but complied.

"You sure about this?"

"I'm sure" Kin replied and focused his mind on making a barrier to protect himself. Rand swung the bar and it struck Kin right in the chest. The piece of metal banged off of him like it had struck a solid steel wall and flew out of Rand's hands.

"Holy cow! You have super durability!" he shouted and Kin was even shocked himself at what he had just done. Another thought came into his mind and he walked over to a junked car and focusing on the task at hand Kin was able to lift the car from the wreckage and hoist it up above his head like it was made out of light plastic. Rand was in shock and his eyes were wide.

"You've got superhuman strength!" he shouted and Kin then tossed the car into the air and watched it crash into another pile of garbage many feet away. It had been easy and this made him wonder just how far he could potentially push himself. Well with his friend now knowing his secret, this meant that he had someone else to come with more ideas to test his abilities.

Master Goichi stood up slowly, holding a hand to his stomach over the wound Dyce had left and moving with obvious care, and looked Korvus up and down. Whatever he saw in the cyborg he seemed to approve of as he reached out a hand for the young man to take, wordlessly consenting to being taken to the hospital.

The two disappeared a moment later, leaving Ryuhei feeling apprehensive as he waited. Though it was only a minute or two later when Korvus reappeared, without Goichi this time, it felt a lot longer to the impatient young man. “Was everything okay?” A small nod from the cyborg was all it took to calm his nerves, a small grin appearing on his face. “Alright then. Should we get going? I’d like to see this temple.”

"Fukurou Forest?" Yang knew of the region, of course, after all it was where Master had built his home. Likely this person's town was in another part of the large forest region, away from Master's home. But this also meant that she was not who he was looking for, but perhaps she knew of them? Only one way to find out, "I am Yang Wuxin, former disciple of the late Master Feng. He lived in an isolated home that can also be found in Fukurou Forest. Before he passed, my Master instructed me to seek a temple somewhere in this area and to seek training there. Do you know of it by any chance?"

Admittedly Yang was also stalling for time, as he was also waiting for Korvus and Ryuhei to catch up to him. He couldn't imagine they would be too much longer so at this point it was probably better to go ahead and wait a little longer for them. In the meantime, he could find out a little more about this stranger, "Once I find it, I'm going to convince the master living there to train me. Two others will be joining me, and you seem to be strong yourself, so if you wish to do a little training then I don't see why you couldn't join us."

Leaving the older man in the safe hands of doctors are Korvus’ local hospital, the android reappeared in the dojo he had been in moments before. He quickly spotted Ryuhei who wasted no time in suggesting the pair move on. Korvus smiles at the man wide, feeling what he could only describe as excitement.

“I agree. This temple and a chance to train with others is intriguing.” Korvus moved towards the door, slowly elevating himself from the floor as he approached. “I don’t know how long it’ll take to find this place but I hope we have some fun trying.”

At the exit Korvus launched himself up into the sky above. He felt he was far from home when in reality he was pretty close. Considering the places he had visited all around the world, this area so close to his home was entirely new to him. Korvus turned his head as he flew, looking to see where Ryuhei was.

As Lena sat in the snow, she watched the female Saiyan shovel snow aside with her hands and pull a turnip from the ground without snapping it. The blonde girl was silent as she stared at Okora in awe. She went into overdrive, pulling them up as though they didn’t have small branches rooting them into the frozen earth.

Do we have enough of them?

Lena blinked, realizing she was staring. “Wow, you’re strong like Grisha.”

She stood from the snow, brushing ice from her bottom, and took some turnips from Okora to help her carry some. As she led her around the front into the house, she listened to her questions about Grisha.

“It’s strange. We found him frozen in the ice. When we thawed him out, we had expected him to be dead and we were going to give him a respectful burial, but he was alive. Grisha doesn’t remember how he got there. We all tend to treat him as part of the family, and he’s done nothing but protect all of us.”

They entered the kitchen and Lena set down the turnips on the counter. She crouched before the cupboard and removed a big pot to cook the turnips in. “What about you? How did you get here? We thought Grisha was the only one of his kind. What do you call your people any way?”

She set a knife on the counter for Okora if she wanted to start cutting the turnips. “Can you cut them into round coins please?” Lena was procuring the vinegar and sugar.

Meanwhile, outside, as Tobias shoveled the snow for the second time around, he paused to gaze into the distance at the large mound that was rushing toward the village. It could only be one person. Frowning, Tobias growled and raised the shovel like a bat. He started to yell, “Damn it Grisha! If you make me have to shovel snow one more time!”

The Saiyan had one arm behind him, grasping the giant tusk of what appeared to be a colossal white-furred boar. As he dragged it across the ground, snow rose and passed over its body like water, leaving a wide wake in the dead boar’s path. To Tobias’s relief, Grisha stopped at the village outskirts as the villagers started to crowd around the kill in amazement.

Resting his hands proudly on his hips, Grisha grinned and exclaimed, “BIG PIG LOTS OF MEAT!”

The village butcher stepped outside and his mouth dropped at the sheer size of the pig. Racing over to it, he looked up at the Grisha and said, “That’s a huge boar. I’m gonna need some help.”

Grisha brought his thumb and index finger together in the infamous OK gesture: “EASY!”

He was going to help them skin it. A few of the villagers started to eyeball the pig’s pelt. It was very pretty and would provide a lot of fur to keep the villagers warm throughout the winter. The Kousetsu Villagers used just about every part of the pig.

“Wow, you’re strong like Grisha.”

Okora couldn't help but smile. "Thank you. I normally try to keep it hidden though. I'd rather people not know." She said quietly.

“What about you? How did you get here? We thought Grisha was the only one of his kind. What do you call your people any way?”

Okora paused for a brief moment as she remembered what had happened to here back on Planet Vegeta. "I guess you could consider me a refugee." She said quietly as she tried to push the memories back down. "There are others like Grisha and myself but...they aren't nice. There might be others who prefer to peace to war like us but I doubt it." She turned to look at Lena. "What I'm going to tell you next you have to promise to keep secret. No matter who asks, you can't tell anyone."
