I do feel a little silly for writing such a short post after your long collaborative post, but I couldn't think of anything else that needed covering. Do one of you feel like a Pokemon Showdown battle? Or just a dice roll?

So, instead of doing any complicated math. All I did this time was use my judgement. This is supposed to be a normal trainer battle that you would be expected to win, unless you were unlucky. As such I did a Die 10 (for you) minus a Die 5 (for Ronaldo). The result was actually pretty close, with you only winning by one point.

The Pokemon he would have used are: Spearow, Hoothoot, Bouffalant, Blitzle.

You can use whatever four Pokemon you like.

If you can incorporate this, both his Spearow and his Hoothoot evolve mid battle. Perhaps this can be why the battle turned out so close. Indy wins, regardless.

So I just realized something about your last post Pretydrops. You never mentioned stopping to camp anywhere. Therefore, I have passed the time accordingly, and you two have arrived in Jimmal City at 4:45 in the morning. YIKES!!!

My guess is that Margo's answer to "What should we do next?" would probably be "Sleep!!!"

Unless you want to add that you all did set up camp somewhere on the way here. Then I will adjust the time.

Hey balth! Omgosh first of all my applogies for the recent sloppiness. I thought i mentioned they set up camp, ill probably edit my last post accordingly lmao. They were supposed to have made it to jimmal by late afternoon.

Im wondering if theres some kind of shady spiritual place they can go to. Shady in the sense that maybe theres not so great stuff afoot or something. Also, is there a contest hall in jimmal? Im itching for indigo to have a pokemon contest! Some kind of post where I can write out a bunch of pretty moves into an appeal xD

Yea I was hoping that we could go to like a festival thing going on or something? Like maybe they have a festival in a park to kind of get in touch with their inner spiritual self along with their pokemon and maybe they can look at the book a bit there?

OR maybe the festival is a ruse for something bad going on and Indy and Margo could get caught up in it. (they could get separated for a short time, that could be interesting?) I have part of a response written out but I want to know what time it is / where we should go next :)

So, as far as contests go. Jimmal is not where you will find West Septoh's official contest hall. That is actually found in town/city number 9 (not yet named). But, despite that, there is a large stadium in Jimmal where they host events such as contests and tournaments for cash prizes and more.

Also, being a city, there could definitely be a festival of some kind, but that would probably not start until Friday evening (since that's when most festivals begin in real life). So any festival idea, would probably have to wait till tomorrow in the game time.

So what I propose is that tomorrow (Friday in the role play). Is the first day of a contest focused festival. So you'll need to register today to be in the line-up tomorrow. This will be an entire weekend event. Of course, if Indy gets eliminated early in the festival, then you don't have to stay for the whole festival.

Also, besides registering Indy for the contest, you guys could also check out the large temples and market places. While you're doing that, I can bring the book's purpose into play.

I've adjusted the time to account for a little over 6 hours of camping on the way here. So it is now 11am when you arrive in Jimmal. So you have all day, to get registered for the contest/festival and sight see around the city.

PS: You two could probably take an hour to shower up and change clothes at the Pokemon Center. You have been walking for ten hours, even if it has been cold outside and you haven't sweat too much.

@Balthazar007perfect! Ill post asap! could we do a split up? Where margo could potentially do some digging around about the book while indigo goes off to do a contest? i just don't want ikat to have to have her character follow mine around, it feels like margo might not be able to do much with the contest scene.

Yay, I love that idea! Then I'll go ahead and make my post and have them getting into Jimmal and getting washed up and then maybe overhear some people talking about the contest starting tomorrow?

Then Indy and Margo can part--maybe Margo can come during the contest and cheer Indy on but for today she's not going to sign up for hte contest as well so she can go do... something else :P
