I kinda wanna know how Galdin felt about being passed up on that position...but I wonder if he'd be relieved after seeing that by not being made the representative that he managed to avoid being directly equated to a bird. Alanis' mother was still weak from the birth labor, too weak to fight off the other wolves. Alanis' mother hid in the Human Kingdoms, disguised as a human, while Alanis prepared to lead the remnants of the pack against the enemy. When it got to the climax of the battle, most turned tail, leaving Alanis to be captured and tortured. Eventually, Alanis escaped, vowing justice for her parents and her dissipated pack, with only the tattoo she was marked with as an infant left of her parents.
