"Because being out here, especially at night, is dangerous. Book-worm told me that. I wanted to make sure that you're safe..." He says, holding her hand.
He hugs her back, still holding Book-worms materials. "I can't lose you guys. Both of you are too important to me." He says, that Charisma coming back. "Let's go back to the Carriage, and get some rest."
Margaret pulls back, and before she does something she regrets she looks away, silently chastising herself. Her cheeks turn pink when he says that she's important to him. "Right," her voice is tentative.
He walks back to the Carriage, hopefully she follows. When he gets back to the Carriage, he looks at Book-worm. "Here are those ingredients you wanted. We should sleep. These next few days will be rough." He says as he sits in the Carriage.
yes you should sleep. Yes, yes... sleep Book-worm seemed to laugh manically. sleep my darlings...
Book-worm was still working under the tent. They would drag the bag under to start tinkering all over again. There would be clinks of glass vials by the dozens heard from underneath..
Margaret comes a little later after some thinking. She hears Book-worm and pauses, then continues, acting like she didn't hear anything. He can't know I'm onto him. What are all of these potions for anyway? Margaret joins Kolpec in the carriage, and picks up her sewing again.
The night passes without any issues. As soon as the sun begins to rise, Ariues' blind eyes open, and he goes to take up the reigns of the Carriage. "Alright. Time to get moving..." He says quietly, to himself.
When the carriage hits a bump, Margaret falls over and wakens. "What happened?" she rubs her head, then looks at the other two travelers. "Good morning."
