Well, according to Vertigo, they busted their shoulder and can't post for a while - though they'll have to post before monday next week or get tossed out on their butt Duoya's busy with children and OwO is being indecisive and having fun poked at them by Tiramis.

So, it's really up to you whetever you wanna barge right on over there, or go visit some otherFamilia(s) first, and get rejected harshly first. Never feel like you have to worry about post-order or if someone is lagging behind, it's my job to - when they post - drag them and pull them up to speed with everyone else.

In other news; My visit to the optician went horribly and they had to schedule me for an appointment at a special eye-clinic... So yeah, not in a great mood. Gonna eat some left-over popcorn and maybe sleep for a bit, should clear things up.

That really sucks about vertigo's shoulder and your optician thing. Hope everythings okay!

As for myself, I had a feeling it wouldn't go so well, but I wasn't expecting it to be as bad as it was... Oh well, can't change that, so I'll just have to hope things go better at the clinic.

Yes, yes it would. I would be much amused to see Leela waltz up to a major Familia's door, announce her triumphant arrival, only to be tossed out on her supple, bubble butt into the streets again - for whatever reason. :P

It'd be pretty funny and it'd definitely serve as hammering in that she's not nearly as well equipped for Orario as she thought she was. I might just keep the actual reasons vague if I can't think of any that would be suitable/funny, though.

Possible reasons for not being accepted into a Familia:

1. You're not already an adventurer, as such you're "leveless" and "weak".
2. You're too low level.
3. You look weak, scrawny, unfit, cowardly, like Bell Cranel, timid, overweight, etc.
4. You're too scandalous (some modest/prude Familia don't like the whole, 80% exposed skin-deal)
5. You look poor. Nobody wants beggars in their house, mooching on your resources.
6. The Familia are purists and don't accept [race] or people from [region].
7. You need to pay [sum] to become a member, like a membership fee.
8. The Familia doesn't go to the dungeon and has no need for combatants.
9. The Familia doesn't recruit, they only scout members. So unless you're chosen, you can't join.
10. Your assets are too large and making the God/dess, Captain or other important members of the Familia distracted/jealous.

There's a few reasons, off the top of my head, that I can think of.

Today we said goodbye to our Store Manager. She's switching to a different job, one that pays better. There was home-made lasgna, cake, chocolate cookies, popcorn, all the things! ... Well, for everyone 'cept me, 'cuz nobody told me we were having any of that, so I had my lunch-break right before the big get-together. So while 85% of my co-workers were snacking and eating goodies, I was busy running around in the store on mostly my own... Yup, love my workplace.

On a more related topic though, I'll be working on another NPC sheet today. Should hopefully be able to finish up before the day's over. I've pretty much got all the NPCs, their genders, race and classes sorted out - except for one. But that's a ways off anywho, so no worries.

Oh, and OwO, I forgot to PM you about it buuuut... You had a sizeable breakfast with Dahlia, so you're gonna hafta shell out some Valis to cover them expenses, eyup. ^.-

Brozar is still a work-in-progress. I'll be adding the remaining bits of him shortly. I just got a headache while working on him and decided that rather than save him in some document, I'd just post what I'd gotten done and fill in the rest later.

Nothing needs adjusting, other than Leela either having misheard or misremembered, since the prostitute had suggested she go to the Guild, not a Familia. But given her penchant for not paying much attention, I don't see a need to edit that. Who knows, she might just mistake the Guild House for a Familia's Home... xD

Gonna work on NPCs all day today, unless Duoya and OWO post as well, in which case I'll also need to do IC-stuff. :P

I'm now currently debating about the character I was unsurue about. I have two images that I really like, but I can only choose one... It's a real head-scratcher, but I'll solve it. Or flip a coin if I can't decide, whatever works.

On a different note, might hafta do a collab-post with OwO though, to catch Dahlia up with Leela in regards to timeline. Torran's fine, because he's busy somewhere in the northern parts of town. :P

Unfortunately for me,t oday is Sunday - aka, the day when cleaning has to be done. Going to spend the majority of the day vaccuuming, dishrag-wiping, toilet-scrubbing and other fun activities that either involve chemicals or a lot of bending over But I will try to respond to any IC posts, as well as try to get the last NPC sheet up, but no promises.

I'd also like to remind Vertigo that this is your last day to post - well, technically you have half of tomorrow before I get home from work too - to post something in the IC, or face the inescapable consequences. :<

On an unrelated topic; I had a weird dream the other day, where all the teeth I've had fillings or root-canaled suddenly started falling out of my mouth... It was very disturbing.

Huh, I've had the teeth falling out dream before too. I wonder what causes that kind of nightmare?
