Sparring Match Part 3 of 3
In collaboration with @LuckyBlackCat

Staying in place as Breeze shook her head, Kerianne relaxed her stance, ready to stop, only resuming it again when her opponent took up her own battle pose. She did wonder whether Breeze truly wanted to continue or if she thought she had to, but she wasn't about to make the situation even more awkward. "If you're sure," she said, double checking that this truly was the best idea. Given Breeze's normal disposition, the young girl looked as really as she'll ever be. "I won't use that move again, but let me know if you want to stop."

"...R-Right, thank you."

Chewing her lip, hoping she wouldn't do anything else to upset Breeze, she reached down and slipped into a block's shadow, the later tensing as she did so. Feeling the lightheadedness set in as she emerged by another cube, she remained in a crouch. Positioned in front of the block so Breeze wouldn't be able to grab it and use it against her, she reached out, hooked her arm behind her opponent's ankles and pulled. Completely blindsided, Breeze felt herself falling forward, however instead of panicking like earlier, she used the free momentum to her advantage. Pressing her hands onto the ground, the green haired girl twisted and winded her legs around in hopes of making Kerianne stagger before pushing her feet towards the blonde to get her to let go. Thrown off-balance, Kerianne had to slam her hands against the mat to keep steady, freeing her opponent. As Breeze rolled forward to create space, she brought a hand out to grab a nearby block and threw it at her, taking the time to stand before beginning to rush her, sending a flurry of jabs and knife slashes once she was close enough.

Kerianne only just managed to duck the projectile in time, but before she could do anything else, Breeze had closed in on her. Pulling away from a knife stab and reaching out, she warped through the nearby block's shadow, the blade hitting only the faint black wisps she left behind. She popped up to the side of Breeze, but at the very second she did, something smashed at the other end of the room, eliciting a squeak from the other. That would have been enough of a distraction in itself, even if not for the dimming of the light and the shift in the shadows. Toppling as if someone had pulled a surface from under her feet, she landed sprawled on the mat, Breeze only landing on her knees beside her.

"H-Hey, are you okay?" The green haired girl questioned wearily. Despite speaking to Kerianne, her eyes were focused on the glass shards littering the ground. Someone could really get hurt from those...

Twisting round and staring over to make sure Gabby and Momo were alright, Kerianne sighed at the glass shards on the floor. "Well, something like that was bound to happen sooner or later," she muttered, staggering as she rose. She glanced from the mess to Breeze. "Let's go help." If nobody did, somebody could get hurt. One step, though, and the room wobbled around Kerianne. Picking up broken glass in her current state probably wouldn't be the best of ideas, but she couldn't just leave it lying around, especially with the other fight growing more and more intense.

Breeze knew better then to have Kerianne try and pick up glass with how disoriented she looked.
"Don't w-worry! I can pick it all up on my own!" She claimed as she placed the rubber knife back onto her stomach for safe keeping. "Plus it won't hurt if I j-just use my Quirk..." She explained further before bounding off, her energy levels nowhere near as exhausted as most probably would've thought. Still clearly nervous around the newcomers, Breeze shuffled awkwardly around Momo and Gabby as she placed her hands and arms on the floor, skin eventually becoming littered with pitch black specks. Every now and then she'd cast a nervous glance to Kerianne before immediately looking away.

Renard waved lazily to Raymond as he decied to leave them, still munching on his own. He couldn’t turn down the idea of getting a free sweets.,, even if it came from Raymond. He glanced at Freya waved by to Raymond then turned her attention back to him, trying to point out the good fortune they have now with free sweets at the start of the week.He closed his eyes and shrugged with a ”hmm” as his mouth was still full.

He then heard a purr coming from her direction. He stopped chewing for a moment, he always thought it was odd when she did purr...even though it was cute. It was just an odd sensation hearing that coming from a cute girl instead of a cat. Even though she was a cat… he peaked at her only to see her eyes glinting as she looked at him.

He felt his skin on his cheeks grow warm as he swallowed his food. Turning his attention to the drink he had and drained it...trying to not look at Freya once more. She was trying hard to keep his thoughts in a good place...after what happened at the end of last period, it made sense.. He didn’t like being focused on so intently, though he appreciated it...he would have to continue trying to show her that he was fine.

He cleared his throat as he put his cup down and gave a small smile. ”Yeah of course. Honestly I want to go just to charm some embarrassing stories out of his grandmother. Gotta get some good ammo for later to mess with him. Not gunna pass that up. ”

Renard glanced at the clock, might as well get some work done while waiting for their next class. Standing up he gathered the trash back onto his plate, including Freyas. ” I’m gunna head to our next class. Get some work done before it starts.”

She nodded and got up to follow, he grabbed his bag while balancing the trash on his tray he dumped it on his way out. Reshifting his bag over his shoulder he then continued to the hall. After a minute of walking next to Freya he heard glass shattering from the gym. ”How much do you want to bet that was Gabby?” He asked lazily.

Dawn looked over her shoulder to see another girl who seemed to state once again they are going to get burgers, not asking...stating. The girl had a hard look about her. Not to mention she was freaking tall...Jeeze, she’s like an amazon. Well that didn’t matter. IF she could convince her to come as well, it wouldn’t look like a double date!

“ Yeah we are! Best part is the boys are paying! You should totally come!”

Eira blinked, having moved to face Dawn's group, then hummed in consideration. "Free food, huh," she said, sounding more casual. "Well, I can't exactly say no to that, can I?"

“Nope I’m pretty sure it’s rude to say no to free food in some countries: she says with a mischievous grin “besides more girls the better right?"

"Is that so? Hmm. I suppose I'll come, then."

“Awesome! We have to walk though cause rocky over here doesn’t want to drive.” She added still trying to figure out if he had a car or not. “ I’m Dawn Gibbs by the way. “ a smile came to her lips as she offers her hand to shake Eiras. “ and this girly over here is. Chloe.” she added with jabbing her finger over her shoulder to Chloe.

“Eira Winters.” She glanced down at Dawn’s hand, but did not take it.

A few seconds went by with Dawn glancing at her hand then at Eira and back...“Ooooo Kay” she days awkwardly when she doesn’t take it. She dropped her hand. She pursed her lips in irritation at the lack of politeness...but more so at the fact that neither the tall boy or girl confirmed nor denied the fact if peter had a car or not. “Welp LETS GO” she says while spinning and pointing towards the exit. Taking the blind girls arm in hers as she did.

Dawn looked like she was about to die. She HATED walking. With a passion of a thousand suns. While chloe was giggly and happy, Dawn was groaning and complaining about the walk. Half tempted to ask the tall boy to carry her. He got super long legs, every five steps she took was like one of his. She was Snoopy in comparison.

Suddenly Chloe pulled away and started to run to the restaurant. Clearly excited. It took a second for it to register for Dawn. “W-w-wait- She cut herself off. Sighing. She didn’t have the energy to run after her. But if the girl would just run around on her own she didn ‘t have to worry, she realized.

Freya Leander ~ Cait Sith

@Heartfillia

As Renard looked away, clearly uncomfortable, Freya bit her lip. Had she said something wrong? Seeing him smile, though, put her mind at ease, as did his mention of getting juicy stories about Raymond. This was his typical behaviour all right.

With a shake of her head, she chuckled. "Of course you wouldn't turn down that opportunity." Raising her eyebrows, she gave him a pointed look and a playful smile. "As I haven't forgotten." Her own cheeks warmed as she recalled her mother spilling story after story to him, an old photo album spread open on the table. Her mom had just had to show him that childhood picture of her stuck in a too-small cardboard box she'd crawled into, and get out the teddy bear she'd used as a scratch toy. Not that she'd complain if he heard any more such stories about her. As long as it cheered him up, it would be all good.

She finished her glass of water, standing up once Renard did. "Yeah, we might as well," she replied, nodding and shrugging, when he suggested returning to class. "What better place to catch up on sleep than the back of a classroom?" Hauling her bag onto her shoulders, taking care with her slightly tender arm as she did so, she traipsed after him.

At the sound of breaking glass, she glanced towards the gym. Gleeful chatter thankfully indicated nobody was hurt. When Renard mentioned a likely culprit - Gabby - Freya gave another laugh. "I wouldn't put it past her," she replied, "but Maple King did say those other three have a reputation for that kind of thing."

Trudging to the classroom alongside Renard, she took her usual seat at the back, leaning slumped across the desk. Class wasn't exactly something to look forward to, but at least the bakery was.

Yi frowned for an instant when Erika didn’t accept his help. He hoped she didn’t hold it against him. He didn’t have much time to think on it though when suddenly the pink mist that surrounded her engulfed his hand. He followed the mist up when it formed into hands and looked up to the rough shape of a ‘ghost’. He cocked his head to the side when he saw the smile on the mists face form. His hand started to shake vigorously as he listened to the polor opposite of Erika. He smiled softly and ”Thank you, but she managed-

He couldn’t finish as erika cut him off and told the mist that was enough. Causing it to disappear. She then turned to him, clearly not happy. She then brought up he didn’t even use his quirk. His shoulders shrugged only slightly before bowing his head in respect.”I shall look forward to it next time. was all he could say before she walked back to her classmate and teacher.

His attentioned turned to the others, he was focused on his spar he didn’t know what was exactly what was going on…. A bead of sweat appeared on his temple...whoops. He noticed Breeze picking up glass that was on the ground while Kerianne looked like she was about to topple over. Gabby and momo were still wrestling around, He moved over to where he left his bow staff, slipping his foot under it and popping it up. With a flick of his foot it was enough to launch the staff to eye level. He caught it and spun it lazily till he reached the stand it came from, placing it back on it gently.

He was going to help with the glass, but Breeze was already on it, clearly the best person to do so with her quirk. She looked tired from the spar as well… though clearly more oriented than Kerianne.

He then turned his attention to Kerianne. Perhaps you should just rest a bit more. You look like you’re about to fall over… I can help you to the bench if you like? He then looked over to Breeze and gave her a thumbs up, when they caught eyes and mouthed “Do you need any help?” then pointing to the glass on the ground. The music too loud for him to reasonably yell over at this distance.

Kerianne Morley ~ Nightwatch

@SimpleWriter @Tenma Tendo @Aerandir

Kerianne stayed back, sighing with relief as Breeze cleared the glass away from where Gabby and Momo fought. Still, she wished she could be more help. Part of being a hero was knowing who was best suited to which job, but that didn't make it easy to just stand there and leave things - even small things - for others to deal with.

Her surroundings tipped and twisted as she turned to Yi, who'd asked if she needed help. Given Erika's sulking, the winner of that sparring match was clear. His was the example to take, Kerianne thought - a hero should stay cool and focused like he did, not end up a staggering mess. She stretched her arms out to keep steady, all too aware of why she couldn't do any cleaning.

"Thanks, but I'm alright," she replied, taking step by tiny step towards the bench. She couldn't blame him for worrying, considering last week's accident, but she needed to show him he didn't have to. Or at least, he shouldn't have to. He wouldn't once she proved more heroic potential. His comment about resting, however... Her shoulders sagged. She couldn't exactly disagree out loud, after having told Breeze the same thing. "And it's ok. A few minutes of rest are all I'll need."

Easing herself onto the bench, she glanced towards Breeze, who kept returning the same concerned look. In a way, it was a good thing the fight had been cut short, with the way it had gone. Whatever the reason she'd upset her friend, she'd be careful not to do it again.

Breeze Porfirio || Arsenal
@LuckyBlackCat @Aerandir @SimpleWriter

'...Maybe she should've made sure Kerianne was fully okay before running off to take care of another task', was all the short girl could think of as she pressed her hands, then her arms, onto the ground in a deliberate manner. Had a complete stranger been watching her, they would've thought she was crazy or trying to make an indent on the ground, but that had been the least of her worries as the green haired girl was clearly concerned about other things. What if Kerianne needed to go to the nurse or something even more serious? She...she looked okay from where Breeze currently was, having moved from the ground to the bench where Breeze left her. However before she could look back at the task at hand, the young girl's attention shifted to her other classmate, Yi.

He was giving her a thumbs up, but for what reason? It took a bit of squinting a little bit of imagination for Breeze to realize what he was asking. Before answering, green eyes darted around the space originally littered with glass shards. From what she could tell, there weren't any more shards that needed to be picked up. She then looked to her arms, the distinct charcoal color coating her hands and forearms providing more evidence that her work was done.

Giving Momo and Gabby more space to uh...finish up, Breeze scurried over to Yi whilst making a mental note to recover the blocks still scattered about from her and Kerianne's sparring match, a nervous, but mostly happy smile pulling at her lips once she was in front of the other.
"Th-Thank you for the offer, but I think I-I got all of it." She spoke as proudly as someone like her could, showing both of her hands and the shards that coated them. She was going to ask how his sparring match went, but another brief look at Kerianne had the question die at her tongue and bring up the thoughts still fresh in her mind. Unfortunately, that rare pride instantly dissolved as well once her thoughts went back to her sparring partner.

"U-Uh, Yi? Do you think K-Kerianne going to be okay? Sh-She looks exhausted...I-I hope she isn't in a-any pain, I-I mean, I don't think I hurt her, b-but what if she is in pain and is just hiding it or something? Maybe we should take her to the nurse's office? O-Or maybe we should go and let Maple K-King know about what's going on? B-But I can't talk to him, h-he's too scary, I.." She rambled on, the mere thought of one of friends needing help causing her to spiral into one of her nervous breakdowns. It was hard for Breeze to determine if the tears forming in her eyes were because she was tired or if it was because she wasn't sure what to do. However it wasn't beyond the girl to burst into tears every so often over something simple that would resolve itself. It's only this time the young girl is looking to Yi to offer some sort of idea on what they should do.

"Best part is the boys are paying! You should totally come!”

"Sorry to crush everyone's hopes but there is only one person I'm paying for. He interjected abruptly before following along with the rest of the group. As he walked past Eira, he overheard the white haired girl introducing herself as well as the girl with wraps over her face.

Raymond positioned himself towards the middle back of the group as they made their way over to Smash burger and in all honesty it was a pretty relaxing walk. At least I found it enjoyable he thought to himself as he took notice of the white haired girl who was beginning to run out of steam as Chloe wore her out. This received a chuckle from Raymond as he watched Dawn give in to exhaustion, "I'll handle Chloe duties while you catch your breath?" he said before speeding up his pace to catch up to the blind girl.

"I know you're excited and all Chloe but you should be more careful, running around blind isn't exactly the safest thing." he said as he caught up to her, not only that but it was clear to see that Chloe didn't spend enough time around others with the way she was so trusting of everyone and everything. "This is your first time here right? I'll help you order your food if you'd like? he said, slightly concerned and protective as he surveyed the surroundings before waving back at the group of classmates he came with. "Lets wait for everyone else to catch up before going inside. My name is Raymond by the way"

Animus

Sana ‘encouraged’ the others in the vehicle with her forward with heat and shoves, paying special attention to one individual in particular. Heat flared in her legs as she temporarily strengthened them. She placed a foot against the man’s back.

“Huh?--”

And she put her weight into it.

“Argghhh!”

The man landed on the pavement with his face several metres away. Sana, though, didn’t take any time to enjoy the sight. Heat ran through the entirety of her body as she kept her focus squarely on getting away. “Let’s go,” she said to Quinn, indicating she understood the simple instructions--‘get to the chopper.’

With the burst of super strength granted to her by her quirk, the bulky suit and heavy cuffs she wore became less of an anchor and more of a nuisance. Standing at the edge of the vehicle, she swung her cuffed hands over her head to hook them around the roof. Engaging nearly every muscle in her body, she jumped and pulled herself up and around deftly, landing rather acrobatically on the roof of the vehicle, much closer to the front.

It didn’t take a moment to spot the helicopter, dropping in altitude to approach them. Another burst of heat ran through Sana as she crouched for a breath before exploding into a jump, leaving the vehicle’s roof dented behind her. Despite the added weight causing her to miscalculate, the error was only slight. She lifted her right foot high enough to manage to plant it on the landing skid. One last burst of heat through her body let her push herself enough to hook her cuffs once again around the open door to the passenger compartment, making for a (relatively) easy last step inside. Sana turned around to look down over the sudden chaos, ready to assist Quinn up if needed.

Marionetta Molly

Finally, it was her turn. Molly hadn't much to do between the meeting at the villains' hideout and this moment. The helicopter ride had been spent idly observing Quinn as she created a number of home-made explosives in the helicopter, frequently looking over her shoulder as she did her best to memorize the methods she used. It would be a helpful skill to learn if she could, though simple observation only told her so much. Other than that, there hadn't been much for her to do until the time came to play her role. Which she prepared to do upon seeing Quinn blow open the back end of the transport holding their ally. Molly hung her legs over the edge of the open helicopter door, threads of her legs and torso finding their purchase on the underside of the flying vehicle, which had been made invisible and silent by the quirk of their as of yet unintroduced pilot.

She saw several flee from the transport below, scattering like mice, save for one who stayed next to Quinn. That was likely to be their target. From the distance, she couldn't tell much about her, save for the sight of the bulky outfit she wore. Molly could only assume she'd been stuffed into that to prevent her from using her quirk, whatever it was. Still, lifting it wouldn't be any problem for her.

"I've eyes on the target. Bring us to forty feet and make a pass over the transport," Molly instructed the pilot. She pulled the threads of her arms off the inside walls of the helicopter, allowing her body to fall down beneath the helicopter. Now outside the helicopter, hanging a good thirty feet below, she appeared to be flying completely of her own power thanks to the pilot's quirk. Well, for a little while, anyway. Before dipping low as instructed, the pilot deactivated his quirk, allowing the helicopter to become visible to those below, in preparation for Quinn to jump aboard as well.

What neither Molly nor the pilot expected was that Sana herself would do just that instead, the girl somehow mustering enough strength to make the 40-foot leap up to the helicopter all on her before it even began the flyover of the transport, completely bypassing Molly on the way up. After feeling a twinge of disappointment, Molly's mind raced to come up with a new role for herself. After all, plans almost never went off exactly as planned, so getting hung up over every unexpected situation was pointless. It was better for her to think of what else she could do rather than simply let herself be useless. Luckily, the pilot was still taking her over the transport, meaning there was one other person she could pick up.

"Up we go, tigress!" Marionetta called out to Quinn as she passed just above the scorpion-tailed woman, her arms hanging down limp so their threads could wrap around Quinn and lift her up as she passed. Assuming Quinn didn't have any objections or other objectives to fulfill, Marionetta's arms would soon be wrapped around Quinn's midsection, and her threads wrapped around both of them twice over, making her grip very secure. The two would quickly be beyond the reach of the police force below as the pilot finished the transport flyover and lifted back into the air, the helicopter's cloaking restored by his quirk. Molly would begin to pull herself back up toward the helicopter, her back and leg threads retracting into her body to reel both her and Quinn in. Once her body was within 5 feet of the helicopter, she detached some of her leg and back threads and felt around for the open door, and once she found it, began pulling herself and Quinn into the helicopter proper. She wouldn't release her arm threads' wrapping around Quinn until both were safely inside.

Eira Winters ❄ Antartica

@Heartfillia@pkken@Pudding@Zaphander

"Oh jeez, do we have to run there?" Eira hissed. Mainly to herself, but it was still quite loud. "This is... some bullshit. She did like running. It was enjoyable, and much easier for her since she never got hot. It was quite a joy, being in school and watching her classmates suffer in summer PE.

Nevertheless, Eira followed at a regular pace. She didn't have the will to keep up, nor did she care enough to. "We'll just follow these idiots and catch up in a minute, yeah?" she said to Dawn, watching Chloe's antics with mild amusement. So high energy, and in the afternoon as well. Some people were just like that. Eira, for one, was not, but a few of the jokers she was about to go out with were, it seemed.

There were worse ways to spend time. There were definitely better ones - much, much better ones - but this was fine too. She couldn't even remember the last time she'd gone out for a meal, much less burgers. It wouldn't hurt to reset the clocks on those. She patted her pocket, checking if she had money. She wasn't so cruel as to actually not pay for her own food. Otherwise, those poor boys' wallets... ah, a tragedy in the making.

It wasn't much longer before she caught up with Raymond and Chloe. "Fancy meeting you here," Eira drawled, glancing over the building. How elegant. "Shall we go in, then?"

Seth Moore ~ Wonderland

That was it, really. A commotion, and some shouting from outside. The police had arrived, there to save the day, et cetera. Lock up the bad guys! Maybe even kill a few in the process, the protagonist's friend dies, he gets the girl. So repetitive, so boring. It couldn't possibly hurt to spice things up a little.

Seth walked towards the situation at a lazy pace. No rush, no rush at all. Just so he could get a better look. A swarm around the van, some things happening on top, and the helicopter overhead.

Maybe a bit of a rush, actually. He brushed off his outfit, pulling out his gun, and moving considerably faster than before. His stand wasn't particularly flashy, but he could figure it out. Just needed to buy some time, a bit of a distraction so that things could go off with less of a hitch. No one was paying him much mind, yet

As he got closer, his presence became more known, but a lot of them were still very focused on the whole prisoner escaping part of the plan. With a deep breath out, Seth shot into the crowd. "One at a time, one at a time," he yelled out. What then? Improvise, really. Run like hell, maybe attack a few more people and then get picked up, if things went well.

Things going well wasn't really how villains operated, though.

"Awh, but Sir Raymond I'm so excited! Where I am from there is little in the way of such overwhelming senses!" Chloe held her hands close to her chest as she spoke to Raymond, her unseen eyes staring through him. "I've yet to ever experience something such as this before in my lifetime, to act with you all like this, it brings tears to my third eye!" Chloe joking wiped a fake tear from her forehead.

"I shall try my best to contain my excitement and regain my composure I suppose. But I can only wait so much longer for these tortoises to reach the hare, ahaha! Wait! The hare lost that race did he not? Oh no, I don't want to get ahead of myself such as the hare did..." Meanwhile during the her intense thought process, Eva met them at the entrance.

"My Miss Frost, your chilling Aura is such a refreshing taste to this heat, I do indeed enjoy having you join our group now, ah! Your aura has given me such an excellent idea, perhaps we should attempt to get some Iced-Creams as dessert! Isn't that a fantastical idea!"

A few moments later, the stragglers of the group had arrived. Chloe embraced Dawn with a hug, commenting on how she managed to walk alongside their perverted friend, without brutally attacking him verbally, for more than two minutes. Stepping inside together, Chloe was somewhat overwhelmed by the busy nature of the establishment and was becoming worried about how she would order food, considering she'd never done it before.

Turning to Raymond, Chloe asked him politely for some assistance, she could sense her attachment to Dawn may be straining the poor girl, so she switched targets for the time being. "Sir Raymond, I'm afraid I'm lacking in experience when it comes to the process here, not to mention, I'm unaware of the taste of a burger, nor can I actually read what I assume will be a menu available here somewhere." Chloe held his hand suddenly, "Would you please be knight and aid me in this troublesome of moments Sir Raymond?"

THWACK!

A green pellet whizzed through the gym, striking the punching bag with a loud thud. The missile splattered into liquid like a paintball, yet its considerable impact sent the bag swinging to and fro.

"LISTEN UP, ROOKIES!"

Gasping for breath, Momo sat up as Gabby's hold loosened, and stared in the voice's direction. In the doorway stood an imposing red-haired woman, one sturdy arm outstretched. In her palm, a barrel-like opening could be seen. A metal disc slid shut inside the opening. "Whatever you're playing at, quit it already!" the teacher boomed, putting her hands on her hips, her glare flicking from student to student. "Break time, which some of you seem to be taking literally as a time to wreck the place, is over. If I'd had my way, I'd have taken charge of today's physical training! And trust me, nobody would make a mess on MY watch."

Everyone in the gym would know Miss Jocelyn Martenell, aka Marker Hero Ballistica, meant business. While a living paintball gun didn't sound too impressive, with her fine control over the force and consistency of her liquid missiles, Ballistica's reputation as a formidable hero was well-earned. Even so, Momo couldn't help glancing from the teacher to the punching bag. Paint trickled down its side onto the floor, revealing a tuft of padding poking from a split in the fabric. Her lips twitched as laughter threatened to bubble up. So much for nobody making a mess...

"You there! If you don't want to see me after school, you'll wipe that smirk off your face!" At Martenell's comment, Momo's smile vanished. "Anyway," the teacher continued, "you'd all better shape up for what's to come. Which, again if it were my decision, would be tomorrow! Disasters won't wait, why should we UJ staff? As it is, it'll be in a week, so no slacking off! Your homeroom teachers will explain once you head back to class. Now, get to it!"

Before leaving, she glowered at Maple King. "And you. How many times have I told you to control your goddamn class better?" Shaking her head, she stormed out.

Once sure it was safe to, Momo let the pent-up giggle escape. "Did she just call herself a disaster?" Not one to let a teacher's rant lower her spirits, she sprang up. "Woooo! You hear that?" She skipped over to her two classmates and twirled. "Something exciting's coming up! Ahahahaha! Looks like I'd better practice my dance moves!"

While Erika and Alex weren't likely to look forward to it quite so much, that just meant she had to play her usual uplifting role in the group.

Kerianne Morley ~ Nightwatch

Slowly and carefully, Kerianne stood up. Looking at the now empty hallway, she frowned. That display and attitude may have been a little overboard just now, even if preparation was of utmost importance. She approached Breeze, who'd been teary-eyed with panic as it was.

"Breeze, it's ok," she reassured her. "You didn't do anything wrong, you did great. I'm not hurt. I'll be alright, and what's coming up will be too."

Straightening her back, she glanced around at the others. "Well, good thing we made use of this time, and let's do the same with all other opportunities we get this week. From what I heard of the last official training session, it wasn't easy, but if they're throwing us in the deep end, it's for a good reason." Small steps minimising her staggering, she hauled her school bag onto her shoulder. "Whatever the challenge is, if we're well-prepared, we'll be up to it."

She took a deep breath, steadying not just her body but her nerves. Frequent training would be essential, but she couldn't overdo it and miss this event like she'd missed the last one. Finding middle ground was a challenge in itself.

Dawn was glad when Raymond decided to follow after chloe give her a chance to catch her breath. She smirked at Eira’s bullshit comment. Perhaps they were more alike than she thought. She hated running. When she then said to her they will just follow and catch up in a minute, Dawn said, Thank. YOU.

She took the time to catch her breath as they slowly caught up with the others. She was not expecting Chloe to suddenly hugged her. Blinking a few times she was surprised when she commented on her not attacking pebbles. She groaned inwardly. Honestly she was too busy walking. And he didn't say anything to warrant a retort.

As they walked in her stomach grumbled a bit at the smell of the place… She watched as Chloe then latched on to Raymond...calling him SIR Raymond. “Laying it on thick there sister… she thought to herself...though she would never do it….she would know like 99.9 percent of boys that would fall for that adorable act.

”Double bacon CHeeseburger, extra bacon and cheese with a handful of pickles is always good.Oh and large fries of course.” She said looking at the menu still. Though she already made her mind up. Her right hand finger on her lip as well. ”ooooo and a large chocolate shake.

Looking to Eira, “ What about you? What are you going to get?

Gabriella Gonzales
Repulsa Libre

Having broken her pin-suffocation hold on Momo when Ms. Martenell demanded everyone's attention, Gabby's eyes constantly shot back and forth between the teacher and her sparring partner. She would never say it aloud, but she hoped the teacher would keep whatever she had to say short so she could check on her friend. It only just dawned on her upon seeing Momo gasping for air that she had maybe taken the sparring session a bit too seriously. She had been in the same mindset that she approached her sparring with her grandpas with, but Momo wasn't as experienced or as powerful as them. She'd probably overdone it.

The giggle ellicited from Momo as she sprang up off the ground should have assuaged her concerns. She hadn't let her mood be brought down by either her own efforts during the spar nor being called out by Ms. Martenell, which was consistent for Momo...even so, Gabby couldn't shake the feeling that Momo might simply be hiding her ill feelings toward her. Before Gabby could ask how she was faring, Momo bounced away, bright blue hair trailing behind her like a flowing curtain as she rejoined the two students she'd entered the gym with.

Gabriella panicked a little in that moment. She felt she and Momo had made a strong, friendly connection, one that she hadn't yet made with even any of her own classmates. She didn't want to lose that because she failed to exert proper self control during what should have been a simple spar. Scrambling to her feet, Gabriella's body started running after Momo, slowing to a walk as she became conscious of her potential to cause a scene or scare Momo if she let her huge body barrel toward her.

"Um..." Her mouth was dry, she couldn't find the words she wanted. Her eyes screwed shut as she told herself to act natural. Opening her eyes and focusing on Momo, she forced her stiff arms to her sides. "Per...haps I could...partake in dance practices as well? Would like to give you my phone number...to schedule meet-ups." Remembe manners, Gabriella. "Please and thank you?"

Okay, "natural" was probably a strong word for how she just sounded, but it was the best she could do. She didn't really have experience with this sort of thing.

Momo

@Nyahahameha @SimpleWriter @Tenma Tendo @Aerandir

Switching off the music, Momo spun round at the sound of a mumble. She blinked a few times. She'd expected Gabby to radiate cheer and confidence after the win, but instead, the other girl seemed to shrink in on herself as her posture became stiff and subdued. Had the teacher intimidated her? Was she blaming herself for the broken light? Worrying about the upcoming challenge? Whichever the reason, Momo had more than just Alex's and Erika's spirits to brighten.

At Gabby's question, her usual grin returned. "Sure, that'd be great!" She skipped over to where she'd left her bag, pulling out her phone. "Let me know when you're free! I should be most evenings, I'll just try not to get stuck in detention too much, hehehe!"

Bounding back to her new friend, she held the phone at the ready. This would be the perfect chance to get to know each other better, considering how well they'd clicked. Plus who knew, if Alex and Erika wanted to tag along at any point, someone like Gabby could help bring them out of their shells.

Of course, it didn't hurt that this girl, being the athletic type, was rather cute...

Despite his offer, Breeze already had things taken care of. He glanced at her arms when she showed him, giving her a nod when she did. She certainly had a very handy quirk.

She glanced at kerianne and then spoke up again. She was worried about her, while he was a bit too, he wasn’t as worried. How ever before he could say she should be fine, Kerianne spoke up saying she was ok. That Breeze did nothing wrong.

With that another teacher walked in and stopped everything. She then started yelling at them all for making a mess. Yi raised his eyebrow, right at the same time momo started to giggle.

Honestly she was a bit over the top, while yes the glass could be potentially dangerous, it was a single lightbulb. She then went on to call them slackers...when it was clear they were training. His eyes narrowed as a soft ember of anger was rising. Her barking orders reminded him of someone, though they were not nearly the same. It still angered him.

He let out a long sigh as he dowsed the ember before it caught onto anything. As Gabriella moved over to momo to speak with her, Yi then said softly. ”While keeping up the training is all well and good…” He glanced to Kerianne, ”Getting proper Rest for your body is also essential.

”I suppose we should head back to class then? “

Chisato "Chi" Yuuki || Elixir
@LuckyBlackCat @Heartfillia

Another day, another break spent in the nurse's office. Of course it wasn't for himself, but Chi knew where his strengths lie, and now more than ever he needed to prove himself useful to those that rely on him.

Ever since the tragic incident involving his mother's Quirk going completely out of control, Chi's been absent from school. Of course he was more than thankful for his friends keeping him company though phone calls, text messages, and even bringing him homework (although that last one he could've done without), but actually being back at school felt much more liberating than being at home.

And now that he was back, the nurse ended up going overboard with drawing blood from him. While his pink hoodie underneath his blazer covered his arm, the slight glow of neon that managed to shine though the layers made it pretty obvious what he had been doing. Well...that's if the occasional swaying and sleepy look he had on his face didn't tip anyone off earlier.

Break time was quickly coming to a close as the slightly anemic boy stumbled to his next class, hoping he'd be able to eat the snack the nurse gave and possible catch a few 'z's before class truly began.

Pulling the door open with as much strength as he could muster, Chi poked his head in, half-lidded silvery blue eyes scanning who had arrived. Spotting a head of blonde hair and a familiar pair of feline eyes, Chi could barely suppress the small smile tugging at his lips as he fully entered the room and shuffled towards his seat near the middle of the room. Instead of sitting down like he probably should have and really needed to, the teen shuffled through his stripped backpack, eventually pulling out a chocolate chip cookie wrapped in plastic and setting it on the table.

Careful hands partially covered by the sleeves of his hoodie worked diligently to separate the cookie into three pieces while still inside the plastic before making his way towards Freya and Renard.

"H-Hey, do want a piece of this cookie? The nurse made it herself and said it was 'reaaaaalllly good'?" Despite the unnatural stutter at the beginning, Chi still offered up the snack, fingers trembling as he held the medium sized treat up towards them.

Freya Leander ~ Cait Sith

@Tenma Tendo @Heartfillia

Freya had been just about to doze off when she glimpsed someone come in. Noticing who it was - and the exhaustion clear on his face - she sat up.

"Chi! It's been a while... How is everything?" Her voice quietened as she spoke the last part. A family emergency. That was all she knew about the reason for Chisato's absence. The longer the absence had gone on, though, the more alarm bells it had raised, text messages letting them keep in touch but revealing little. Now, she recognised that haunted look he hid behind a smile. A look not unlike the one Renard wore.

Despite his physical and mental fatigue, the offered snack showed that Chi's main concern was still his usual one - other people's wellbeing. Leaning forward, Freya sniffed the chunk of biscuit. The unmistakeable homemade scent made her mouth water. "Mmm, sure smells like it! Thanks!"

Returning the little smile, she pulled her blazer sleeves over the scratches on her arms and hands before reaching out and accepting the treat. More pressure on him to push himself was something to avoid. She popped a piece in her mouth, giving a purr of approval. The fact that a feline-featured person enjoyed chocolate and sweets surprised some, but Freya and her family could eat and taste a wider range of foods than regular cats could, albeit with a partiality to fish. Once she'd finished, she let out a few more purrs for both Chi and Renard. It was one small thing she could offer in the way of comfort, as were snacks of her own.

"Here." She took a packet of seafood snacks from her bag, pulling it open, holding it out to Chi and Renard. "Both of you, help yourselves." Chi in particular looked like he could do with the energy boost. Whatever had happened, though... As with Renard's situation, it wasn't anything small gestures were going to fix.

The gust of wind caused by the warm front that was Momo's enthusiasm caught the self-doubt Gabriella had hung on her laundry line and carried it away. Her posture eased as she waited for Momo to return with her phone in hand. A close-lipped smile spread across her face as two words repeated in her mind: New frend! New friend! New friend! New friend! Momo then went on to state when she was usually free, mentioning avoiding detention to make sure she would be.

"Ah, so you are what they call a "troublemaker", then?" Gabby quipped, humor finding her again now that her nerves weren't getting in the way. If slamming her into a ceiling and pinning her to the floor hadn't dampened their connection, a joke certainy wasn't going to, even if it ended up lackluster. "Perhaps I should rethink this friendship. Gabby's parents would worry if she fell in with the wrong crowd."

Gabby decided to wait and see her reaction, then would tell Momo her phone number. Perhaps her joke would make her sweat a little? She couldn't deny someone getting concerned about the idea of not being friends with her would be a nice ego boost.

For all the chaos, the plan went smoothly. Well, as smoothly as it could, given the slight deviations to it. Shortly after Sana fled into the helicopter of her own accord, Quinn and the others followed, winched to safety. An escape, no matter how narrow, was an escape.

Of course, that didn't mean the villains could lower their guards just yet, or any time soon. The other police cars that flocked to the wreckage, and the heroes who showed up too late to the scene, signalled the start of a search. A search fuelled by the confirmation that the factory incident wasn't a one-off. Other like it, or worse, were sure to follow.

...

A screen flicked on, dispelling some of the room's dinginess. Through the remaining shadows, the man studied his employee. Although Noxious hadn't taken part in the mission, by now she'd surely know of its result. As usual, though, what he could see of Araraki's face stayed impassive, giving no hints of success or failure.

"Miss Araraki." His voice cut through the silence - calm, yet that hint of threat if anything went awry wouldn't be lost on her. "Tell me. These new recruits. Were they successful in proving their worth, and setting right what went wrong last time?"

Noxious remained jaded as was her usual self, despite the menacing voice that now addressed her. It helped that this was not the first time she was confronted by this man; the man behind their whole organisation. The reason she was here, on this continent.

"I guess so." she said, looking up at the screen. She was alone in her personal quarters at this point. "They secured Sana, if that is what you're asking. They proved their usefulness, as for their wrongs...the only wrongs I care to set right are those of society - and they will prove useful in that."

It didn't matter how many times she spoke to him - she could never shake off this uneasiness that came to her in their every confrontations.

The man chuckled, a low sound in his throat. "You guess?" He paused, the momentary silence giving all the warning needed. "That's all well and good, but may I remind you that our next move is to have no margin for error. Which is why you, and all the others, must prepare."

He scrutinised Noxious, taking in the slight tensing of her muscles despite her calm demeanour. "After all, sickness takes time to cure. Especially if the afflicted won't acknowledge it. This society walks around in a sweet little dream, ignoring the poison running through its veins. But they'll need to wake up to it eventually. And you, ironic as it is, are its antidote."

A mirthless smile tugged at his lips. "Now, this is the plan..."

...

This time, the League of Villains' meeting place was not the usual one, but an old warehouse. Inside, a small group waited for the team's arrival.

One man sighed, his hand pressed to the wall. "Villains versus villains, huh? What could possibly go wrong?" he muttered, channeling his Quirk into the walls to contain noise within the area, effectively soundproofing them so nobody would attract attention. "Let's hope I'm not making these little improvements to the walls only to watch them get smashed to smithereens."

Another man, slouching in a chair with a first aid kit in his lap, chuckled. "Hey, I trust this lot know what they're doing. Noxious wouldn't hire people who didn't. Besides, if anything goes wrong, I don't know about the building, but at least people are easy to patch up."

Next to him, a woman glanced over, an identical medical kit clasped in her hand. "Still, probably worth keeping an eye on them," she replied. "You can't be too careful, especially with a ragtag bunch like this one. From what I've heard, I wouldn't put it past some of them to go off and do their own thing."

She turned to the entrance. Only time would tell how this training session would go.
