History of the Ship: The Resurgence has been the flagship of the Republic Remnant during its campaign to destroy any and all Imperial Remnants and reestablish the Republic. It has seen well over 200 engagements over the course of the Reclamation Campaign in it’s battlegroup with the Kenobi, and Fisto.
Notable Crew:Supreme Commander Jason Erthos-The primary leader of the Republic Remant, he leads their reclamation efforts against the Imperial Remnants and leads talks to convince the New Republic that the old system wasn’t entirely flawed, simply parts. He also leads the ground forces when needed.

CC-2174 “Hammer”-Commander Hammer was one of the first Clones to finish the accelerated growth process after Nama Le fled Tipoca City with a handful of like minded fellows and roughly 2,500 embryos twenty-three years after the end of the Clone Wars. He is considered to be the toughest of all his brothers and has aided in the training of subsequent generations of Clones and those who have been recruited from off world. He leads the 302nd Clone Legion of the Republic and is a stalwart believer that if any of his brothers still serve the Imperial remnants, they can be saved. That doesn’t, however, keep him from doing what he must.

History of the Ship: Built 50 years ago, during Eggman's hayday, when he and Sonic battled on a regular basis, this was hidden in his "Grand Vault" bellow his last fortress as sort of an escape pod, so that he could flee the planet. He was captured before he could get to use it, so it spent many decades in that vault in standby mode, only the maintainance and cleaning crews active.

When Jack and his friends were fighting Prince Manic, they rescued the imprisoned Eggman from Manic's clutches, he took them to his last bastion and showed them the Egg Carrier. Eggman joined their fight, too old and tired to try to use his newfound freedom to try to refound Eggman Land, instead, deciding to pour his remaining days into stopping Prince Manic's attempts to take over the Acorn Kingdom. After Manic's defeat, he fled the planet in his ship and the crew of the Egg Carrier has followed him to space.

History of the Ship:
The Solonis was a ship heavily involved in fighting against the Advent as well as the Vasari. Responsible for many kills on not only frigates and cruisers but credited with the elimination of a few enemy capital ships as well. The Solonis was frequently deployed in both a battlegroup as well as on it’s own in various duties.

Things almost went south for the Solonis whilst it was deployed on the border of TEC space. A battlegroup was due to come through, and Solonis was to link up with them to start a push into Vasari space, however the battlegroup didn’t arrive on time, with the Solonis being informed that it was going to be late. It was then that a Vasari Vorastra Titan appeared in the system, causing a panic on the lonely Solonis. Solonis’ shields came under heavy fire as the Vorastra micro-jumped behind it, and the Solonis’ crew triggered an early phase jump, wishing to bear the risk rather than die to the Vorastra. However, when they jumped, it didn’t end as early as it should have. Instead, it kept going, to the point where Solonis’ crew knew they were nowhere near where they were before.

Outwardly the Intrepid Reason is a rather sizeable dark grey steel ship with many ornate curves, top mounted guns, and a rear facing engine. Inwardly, however, the ship is divided into five different sections. A front facing section that contains all the equipment and space necessary for the proper operation and piloting of the craft, a mid-section that serves as a general mess and rest area, a rear section that houses the ships engine along with other vital machines, and lastly a lower cargo bay that takes up most of the crafts underbelly. It is also through here that the crew enter and exit the ship via an extendable ramp and side facing hatch. Furthermore, the Intrepid Reasons hull is lined with small thrusters-well small when compared to the rest of the ship anyway-that aid in docking procedures and other delicate maneuvers.

Although the craft does not have any officially designated space for worship or prayer, like all ships within the Empire's armada, its crew still maintains a strict schedule of religious observance to the God-Emperor. One that starts from the moment the awake from their sleeper pods and continues until their return. They also offer up a quick prayer to the Emperor before engaging in a battle,

History of the Ship: A relatively new addition to the empire's navy, the Intrepid Reason has been patrolling within the empires borders for several years now, its crew serving the God-Emperor and his Lords faithfully for decades. While they have seen a few minor engagements with pirates and other such hostile forces, they have not yet been engaged in a full scale war the likes of which species such as the Canthari have. This does not mean they are incompetent, however, only untested on a larger scale.

Notable Crew: Regent (technically captain) Sul'ren, Head Warden Droz'ein, Battle Mistress Funae, Pathfinder Audhn, Elder Uevryth, and Phrenic Architect Ichri.

History of the Ship:
The Hammer of Korhol was assigned as the defense fleet of a Terran held world near the edge of a Protoss faction's borders, for many years it would engage in small scale skirmishes with the Protoss but never any major engagements. During this time, the Terran Dominion would tear itself apart with Raynor's Raiders beginning to strike back and the resurgence of the Zerg swarm. Captain Astrovia would hold fast and protect the world under his care. Unfortunately the back-world was right in the path of two mighty forces. A Zerg splinter swarm would descend on the system along with a mighty Protoss fleet trying to prevent the swarm gaining purchase on its flank. The Battle-Cruiser was the only warship the Terrans had in the system, during the fighting it was possible to sequester a large civilian and military presence in a defensible position while the Zerg and Protoss were largely content to slaughter each other.

This went on for some time, the Swarm slowly growing and gaining a better grip on the world. Escape was impossible for the Terrans fighting their way through either force would have been suicide. As the Protoss surrendered the world to the Zerg they consructed powerful Warp Conduits to evacuate the forces that remained on the planet. Captain Astrovia in a risky, though some would say reckless, move to escape the inevitable conquest of the planet tried to force a Tactical Jump to be calculated that landed them in the warp conduit so that they would be sent to a protoss world and had a hope of escaping in the confusion or begging safe passage.

The jump however not only destroyed the warp conduit, standing many protoss on the world, but sent the Hammer of Korhol spinning through reality or the multiverse to land in the star wars galaxy.

The Yamato cannon is mounted on the prow of Battle Cruisers. The cannon draws its immense power from the ship's core, and then generates a dense magnetic field to harness a controlled nuclear reaction, turning it into a concentrated energy blast that can destroy almost anything with a few shots, even enough to decimate cities. The cannon requires a huge energy reserve to fire, requiring its own conversion generator and a fire-control station manned by nearly 100 gunnery specialists. However, the effects make it worthwhile.

The cannon is suitable for "scorched earth" work.

Energy Shields
Force fields provide protection from projectiles, energy-based weapons and electronic surveillance. Upon impact of external objects, the effect varies. Against personal force fields, bullets simply bounce off and fall. Explosive weaponry such as missiles against ships is more spectacular however, the absorbed energy creating a corona effect. The only sign of a force field deactivating is a slight ripple through the air around it,

History of the Ship:The Glasgow is a York-class cruiser. One of the largest cruisers in the Systems Alliance Navy. 5 decks in total. 1 Officers deck, 2 gun decks, engineering deck, and a hangar/storage deck. The top most gun deck also serves as the command deck, and both gun decks have crew quarters. The Glasgow was handed to one Captain Travis Elliot shortly before the Battle of the Citadel, and attached to fifth fleet. The Cruiser had barely been out of dry dock, before it was thrust into combat. They received a call from a system alliance commander, turned spectre for aid in citadel space. The fearsome geth were being led by a spectre turned traitor named Saren. So the fifth fleet was sent through the relays into the battle of the citadel.

The crew were put through their trial of fire, helping engage geth ships, even landing a couple. But the order came in, the fifth fleet was to protect The Destiny Ascension, where the council of the Citadel were currently aboard. This cost them a third of fifth fleet, and Travis Elliot many friends. But in the end, The council was saved. Paving way for humanity to enter the council of citadel space. But this left a bitter taste in some of the members of fifth fleet, who saw the loss of life as nothing more than political maneuvering.

After the battle of The Citadel. The Glasgow, and the fifth fleet ended up getting a few peaceful moments when they were set to guard against Batarian slavers, and their raids on systems alliance planets. But it didn't take long for the Batarians to go oddly silent, and the raids to mysteriously cease. A couple months later they found their answer. A new threat, The Reapers. A species of sentient AI had come to wipe them out. All of the fleets humanity had to offer tried to slow them down, but ultimately once they reached the sol system they were forced onto the run. The Fifth Fleet was scattered to the wind in a hostile galaxy. Hit, and run attacks worked well against The Reapers, but they were too strong. They were losing.

The crew of The Glasgow were tired, they had been pushed to their limits, and they were lost. But then the order came. "Take back Earth." So they hopped aboard the closest relay, and joined onto The battle of Earth. Travis had never seen so many ships in his life. Every race in the galaxy was there to help retake Earth, but still The Reapers were heavily favored in this battle. They were just there to stall so The Crucible, a secret weapon designed to take on The Reapers could fire. It was here the crew of The Glasgow proved their worth, helping screen shuttles to enter the planet, and even deploying their own ground compliment. Holding off The Reapers, with the aid of a sister ship.

The battle for Earth was one of the most intense battles the crew had ever been in, and The Glasgow did sustain damages during it. With multiple hull breaches they couldn't hold out much longer, and they thought it was the end. Their one hope had gone radio silent, the ground crews were reporting heavy casualties, the fleets were reporting heavy damages, or casualties. Then it happened. The crucible fired, and a pulse swept through the battlefield The Reapers just stopped fighting, and the relay's went dark. Leaving The Battlefield eerily quiet for a few moments. Then the cheers came, and it echoed so loudly through the communications systems that the crew were sure they'd go deaf. But shortly after the celebration, the reality sunk in. Billions dead, multiple ships lost, millions of military personnel lost, and to top it all of The Relay's went dark. They were now isolated.

It's been two years since The Battle of Earth. The other species tried to do what they could to get back home mostly opting for using their FTL drives. While the Systems Alliance worked on rebuilding Earth, and eventually even got the Relay's running again. Three ships were chosen at random to enter the Relay to see if they worked as they used to, to go restore order and peace to the the human systems around them, and search for the council. The Glasgow is one of the three, sent because The Systems Alliance isn't sure if The Reapers are still waiting for them out there, and The Glasgow is more than happy to go.

Complement: The Immaculate Aegis possesses a full complement of strikecraft and transports (Banshee Fighter strikecraft, Seraphs, Phantoms, Tick boarding craft). However, it has a quarter of its usual crew (under 10,000), and a quarter of its usual ground attack vehicles (Wraiths, Ghosts, Shadows, Revenants, Banshee flyers, one Scarab).

Crew:
The crew of the vessel are primarily Sangheili and Unggoy, with some Kig-Yar and Lekgolo. Additionally, as one of the heavy defense vessels of Sangheili space, the ship possesses three Huragok. While it is only a fraction of the number of engineers such a vessel would have possessed during the height of the Covenant, the rarity and value of Huragok among the Swords of Sanghelios limit the number that can be assigned to any individual ship.

Notable Crew:
Shipmaster Falul 'Taham-
Falul is a long-serving veteran, first in the Covenant military, and now for the Swords of Sanghelios. Though a mere Seraph pilot early in his service during the Human-Covenant war, he showed himself to be gifted in his understanding of space combat, even going as far as to disobey orders when he saw flaws in the tactics of his superiors. While an insubordinate attitude may have stifled his advancement, his success still earned his command of squadrons and smaller vessels.

It was not until the Great Schism that Falul earned his command of the Immaculate Aegis...by force. He was a part of the assault team that captured the vessel, and among the chaos of the fighting with no certain command structure, Falul took charge of the vessel and proved his worth as shipmaster in the battle to follow. Although his ship was unable to join in the Battle of the Ark, his performance during the preceding battle elevated his rank and allowed him to retain command of his ship. He and his vessel have since served in multiple battles in defense of the Swords of Sanghelios.

Field Commander Vael 'Virisusai-
In contrast to his shipmaster, Vael was not a gifted warrior in his youth, nor did he have any particular skill nor ability that made him stand out. He entered the Covenant military in just the same way as most other Sangheili as an average warrior. He has earned his rank not through some exceptional latent ability, but rather, earned his skill through pure training and raw experience. Although his early accomplishments in the Human-Covenant war are now stained in his mind by the lies of the Prophets, he fought in battle after battle, taking more lives by his own hand than he can count. He fought against the Flood from the second of the holy rings, then against the Jiralhanae during the Great Schism.

Vael did participate in the battle against the parasite on Earth, then against the Covenant on the Ark. Throughout his long and bloody career, Vael earned a respect for his Human opponents, who showed resilience and ingenuity despite a severe technological disadvantage. Although, he did not admit that respect to himself or others until after the betrayal of the Prophets.

Eri 'Moram -
Eri is the vessel's Special Operations Officer, and is one of the more recent officers to be assigned to the Immaculate Aegis. After the Arbiter lifted the restriction on female Sangheili serving in the military, she joined immediately, having longed since she was a child to join the ranks of the heroes her elders so revered. She is young, compared to many of the other officers on the ship, but dedicated, capable, and wholly devoted to improving herself. She has risen through the ranks by serving in battles against the remains of the Covenant and other threats, but often finds herself dissatisfied that she was denied the chance to prove herself against the Flood, or the deceiver Truth.

Narak 'Chorna - As an artisan-engineer, Narak is the closest thing to a technology expert that exists among the Sangheili. He is experienced in the operation of assembly forges, though in recent years, has been assigned to coordinate with their Human allies on special projects to gain a better understanding of Covenant technology. He is not a member of the Immaculate Aegis' crew, but rather is simply on board the ship for transport back to Sanghelios from Earth, after having been taken to the edges of Sangheili space by a Human vessel.

Dr. Fiona O'Connell - Dr. O'Connell is a graduate of Koletre-Browning University on Circumstance, and specializes in xenotechnology. She is an ONI scientist who has, for the past few years, worked on multiple joint Human-Sangheili projects to reverse engineer both Covenant and Forerunner technology. She is currently working as a part of a team with Narak 'Chorna and was aboard the Immaculate Aegis for transport from an outer Sangheili colony to Sanghelios.

History of the Ship: The Immaculate Aegis itself began its service as simply a ship within the High Charity defense fleet and did not see any major combat until the Great Schism itself. Amidst the fighting, the ship was captured by Sangheili forces, and commandeered by Shipmaster Falul 'Taham.

It took time, and a great deal of fighting against Jiralhanae forces, but the Immaculate Aegis survived to join the Fleet of Retribution, commanded by Rtas 'Vadum. Unfortunately, the vessel never made it to Earth in the pursuit of the Flood, as its slipspace borer was too damaged in the previous battle to be repaired in time. So, it was unable to join in the Battle of the Ark. However, in the years since, it has served in multiple battles and skirmishes against the remains of the Covenant, Jiralhanae factions, and pirates. At present, it serves a largely defensive role patrolling Sangheili space and protecting Sangheilios and its colonies.

Wormhole drive: Not a weapon per se, but, it has some useful edge cases. For example, if you chuck some kinetic rounds inside a wormhole and then accelerate the wormhole exit to a decent fraction of the speed of light, you have an effective weapon.
Or you could throw missiles in one end and have them exit anywhere else you'd like.
Of course, the Second Chance's wormhole drive is currently configured for none of this.

History of the Ship: The Second Chance was humanity's first interstellar ship. Prior to the construction of the ship, humanity had expanded into a several-dozen solar system commonwealth linked through the use of wormhole technology. Literally we got from planet to planet by taking trains through wormholes. Humanity had settled the sporadic H-Congruous planets in a big chunk of space, but had barely explored anything but the habitable planets they occupied. It wasn't until the astronomer Dudley Bose observed a pair of stars - the Dyson Pair - abruptly winking out before humanity felt the need to explore beyond the reach of commercial wormhole gateways. To quote Ozzie Isaac, one of the inventors of wormhole tech, "Oh, man, that is so beautiful. Whaddayaknow, the space cadets won after all. Let's press the red button and zoom off into hyperspace. [...] Everything we built our wormhole to avoid."

Then a rather significant incident involving a race of xenophobic, genocidal aliens happened.

This may or may not have to do with humanity sending a spaceship over to poke at a pair of stars some advanced alien race had sensibly cordoned off with a giant force field.

The Second Chance was therefore repurposed from a well-appointed, noble exploration ship into a not-great war ship. When the aliens attacked the planet Anshun - a regional industrial capital - the Second Chance was in the right place at the right time to try and defend the planet. While doing a passable job at fending off the aliens, the greatly-outnumbered Second Chance was seemingly destroyed - the enemy surrounded it with eight wormholes designed to interfere with the ship's hyperspace drive, and then 768 nuclear missiles detonated.

Astonishingly, the crew found themselves in a different universe instead of dead.

Notable Crew:
The Second Chance is currently operating in a reduced crew capacity - since the ship became a part of the Navy, there's been less need to have the full complement of science crew. So, you know, they could pick up passengers at some point.

Tu Lee, Captain.
Tu Lee is one of the many rapidly-promoted people brought about by the sudden need of the Commonwealth to create a Navy. This is her second week as Captain - the first week was a long-range recon mission searching for enemy wormhole activity.

Prior to becoming Captain, Tu Lee was the pilot of the Second Chance during its mission to investigate the Dyson Pair.

Gertrude Arany, XO.
Gertrude was the commander of a planetside coast guard ship before being drafted into the Navy. She absolutely hates space. Rather than show it, she stuffs those feelings down a deep, deep hole. She's the kind of person who refuses to back down from any challenge or task - this may be related to how much she hates space and refuses to show it. When very drunk, she may admit to her fearloathing of space.

Unique Technology:

In general, humanity is very good at manipulating wormholes, cyber/bio-ware, and hyperspace technology, but not so good at the rest of space technology. They've got hyperspace, but sublight "drives" still operate on 300-year-old plasma rocket tech. There's no artificial gravity, but there are tattooed-circuitry limited-AI's known as Virtual Intelligences.

Wormholes - The Second Chance takes advantage of humanity's longstanding mastery of wormhole tech. Rather than a standard FTL drive, the ship makes a wormhole, slips into it, and then moves the endpoint before the ship reaches it. It travels in a series of moving wormholes, and has the capability of creating wormholes with two free-floating endpoints, given sufficient modification. Of course, that would disable the ship's FTL.

Memorycells/Re-life tech - Consciousness is backed up onto memorycells embedded in the brain. If you die, you can simply be uploaded into a new clone. Usually this is handled on a nice, comfy planet with a recovery clinic and, preferably, some recreational facilities nearby. The Second Chance, however, was going to be several thousand lightyears from the nearest human industry, so it was equipped with a slow, poorly-functioning relife clinic. It may take a couple of months before someone's clone is fully grown.

Rejuvenation - On the other hand, why wait until you die? Every 30-50 years, people can get "rejuvenated" and restore their body to a biological age of 20. This is, obviously, not a facility included on the Second Chance.

Cyberware/Biotech - Implants and wetware are commonplace. For instance, you can have a transceiver implanted into your neural network which lets you access the Unisphere (the interstellar internet) from anywhere. OC (organic circuitry) Tattoos are also common. OC Tattoos are often colorful, metallic tattoos which act as processors for other implants, allowing anything from credit transfer to expanded senses to muscle augmentations. Finally, you have the uncommon wet-wired implants - guns, forcefields, explosives, scanners and the like that are implanted beneath the skin.

Augmented reality is very much a Thing.

Force Fields - actually secretly given/suggested to humanity as a long con by an alien from a crashed ship - but they work! They're not amazing, but they are functional.

VI - Virtual Intelligence - a very capable computer program that's been carefully designed to avoid becoming self-aware. Humanity has created a true artificial intelligence - which now lives alone on its own planet, connected to humanity only by a zero-width wormhole - but people and ships limit themselves to VI's for general processing power.

Beginning construction in 2545, the Unbroken Hope was one of the Marathon-Class Heavy Carriers utilized by the UNSC Navy to combat the growing threat of invading Covenant forces, succeeding the Halcyon-Class in frontline flagship support. Five years later in 2550, the Unbroken Hope was cleared to deploy from its Norfolk Orbital shipyard. The Unbroken Hope's mission was to jump to Minab and defend it from Covenant assault. However, the Slipspace Drive encountered a fatal malfunction during its calculation; flinging the warship into the multiverse with all hands presumed lost.
