David Almas

Location: Appartment building
Almost interacting with: Greyson @Moro and Haley @HaleyTheRandom

David found himself having trouble breathing as he woke up. Twilight had decided to crawl on his bed in the night. And though he loved the two-headed
it was enormous and heavy AF. "Alright" He wheezed. "Down boys"
One of the heads woke and started licking David's face. Dawn's movements woke up Dusk too, who was annoyed and bit Dawn's ear. David decide to just push the dog off. It took some effort, but Twilight coöperated eventually.
It was still too early to force himself to do anything, but Twilight was already at the door, both heads whining to go out.

Might as well.
David grabbed the clothes he left lying around and was ready in a matter of seconds. Not looking very fresh yet, but a coffee at the café would help with his mind and face. The wrinkles in his shirt would stay.
He manouvered himself past the dog that was blissfully unaware that it was blocking the hallway to his front door.
"Be quiet alright? People are just waking up."

Twilight seemed to understand, and the duo-slash-trio strolled through the building for a peaceful twenty seconds. It didn't take long however, before the dog spotted the cat in the distance. From the threatening soft growls, David feared that soon he would have to run after his pet to keep him from harming the cat. Those were the only creatures Twilight would actually harm. Perhaps squirls too. But the cat dissapeared into Haley's room at the command of Greyson and now the dog was inclined to investigate.

"Greyson, Good morning! Better shut the door!"

Brynn and Greyson (@Moro)

Chris hummed to herself as she watched the timer on her phone wine down from one hour to fifty-nine minutes and on wards slowly ticking down minute by minute. Taking her eyes off her phone screen, She smirks to herself. Soon her prank will initiate itself, Chris pushes herself up off her bed. She grabs her red bomber jacket, pulling it over her black sabbath shirt. She quickly makes her way out of her bedroom, than out her apartment.

Glancing at her phone, She sees that her prank will initiate in forty-five minutes. It would be enough time to get to Apollo's cafe, eat something, and than wander outside to get caught in her prank. Making herself seem like another hapless unlucky person to get hit with her prank. Hopefully, throwing off any suspicion that might be thrown her way.

Spotting familiar platinum blonde hair ahead of her standing near the entrance of Apollo, walking up behind her friend. Throwing her arm over Alva's shoulder, "Sup AJ, Here for your usual hot caramel latte?" She said jokingly. She glances at Felix, she lets her gaze flick around at the slight snow in the air. Already melting as they land on her warm skin, She raise a eyebrow at him in curiosity. She tips a imaginary hat in his direction in greeting, before removing her arm from her friend and moves to open the door of the cafe. "How about I order us some drinks while you two chat."
Making her way inside, She takes out her phone. Barely glancing at the timer that read thirty minutes. She sends out a quick text to Brynn and Greyson.
Want anything from Apollos?

Smiling at the Barista, She quickly ordered herself a hot doppio caramel latte. She also ordered a iced caramel coffee with extra caramel and whipped cream for Alva and a regular iced caramel coffee for Felix. She also ordered Brynn and Greyson drinks that she thought that they might like. Thanking the barista, When she gets her latte first, she takes a sip happily. She turns around quickly, accidentally bumping into she person behind her spilling her latte on herself. "Just great..." She mumbles to herself. "Sorry." She said to the person she bumped into, grabbing napkins off the counter. She hands some to the person she bumped into as she tried to dry her shirt.

”How -- Who’s you’re godly parent?”

Fuck. Alva. Just what he wanted. His reclusive lifestyle had kept him separated from his half-sister for the last two years and he’d been fine with that. Many a horror story about sibling rivalry and family feuds were bandied around campus and he did not want to become a key character in another. Felix was of the opinion that being a demigod was a mind fuck enough without having to deal with the possibility of his mother’s family tree entangling around him. Even his father was a globe-trotting academic. The last thing he wanted was a bastard sibling like himself to think about. He’d learnt the hard way that a child of Khione had to toughen up pretty quickly themselves. He wasn’t one to mollycoddle or mince his words.
And yet…
The breeze he’d summoned to close the door behind him and fan out his snowflakes now seemed to whisper with his grandfather’s voice. Alliances… Maybe it would be good for him to have someone else to care for as well as maybe mentor. Although he’d already heard that she was definitely more powerful than he was at her age. Anyway, even if he wanted to make a connection how could he explain the last two years…
His response stuttered on his lips as Chris threw her arm over Alva’s shoulders and the snowflakes swirled frantically around their feet. He could only stare pleadingly at the fifth year as she acknowledged the unseasonal chill and subtly removed herself from the situation. But not before making his decision for him… "How about I order us some drinks while you two chat."
Fuck you Chris.
“I think you already know the answer to that don’t you Alva…?” Before she could respond, he nodded toward the café and caught the door to Apollo’s before it closed after Chris. “Come on, let’s get those free drinks and I’ll fill you in.”

As he scanned the café for a secluded seat, he continued his chat as casually as possible despite the tumult of emotions threatening to bring up his breakfast a. “So I’m Felix, your half-brother. I’m from the UK but have lived all over the world.” As his eyes meet Beau’s he blushes profusely as he realises he’s both topless but also flirting with Ito. Argh. Feelings! He took a breath and turned back to his half-sister after spotting a spare seat. ” So this is my last year here. And yes, I have similar powers to you. You’re not the only one.”

He sat down in a corner booth within view of Chris at the counter and gestured to Alva to sit down so he couldn’t see the Frenchman. He traced his name in frost on the table top before looking her square in the eyes. “Any questions?” he attempted to joke with a smile that he hoped hadn’t come out as the grimace he feared it looked like.

A Greyson Davies and Haley Asher Collab

Location: Haley's Dorm @HaleyTheRandom
Interactions: Chris @alimariloasun; David @Obscurus

Greyson’s smirk turned into an equally soft, friendly smile as the girl spoke his name. She seemed flustered. The young man’s smile faltered slightly, keeping his gaze on her.

“Haley,” Greyson chuckled, trying not to go into a fit of laughter after what he was about to say next, “And what is this ‘horrible’ nonsense? I’d say you look quite lovely. And don’ worry, I won’ be telling anyone about your dance moves. They’re pretty posh, I mus’ay.” He flashed the girl a charming, playful grin, uncrossing his arms to clasp his hands behind his back in a more formal stance.

The son of Poseidon’s smile slowly faded, taking on a more serious look. One a caring, concerned friend would have. “Alright, Haley? You don’t, uh-” Greyson hesitated, unsure if he’d be stepping over any boundaries, but he had his concerns. He didn't know Haley as well as he knew, say Brynn, for example. But Knowles tended to blast her music when something was bothering her. He hoped nothing was troubling Haley. Rather than going straight for the more blunt observation he had intended to say, he offered a softer approach.

“D-do you need any help, luv?” Greyson offered a gentle half-smile.

While she wondered why he had a concerned expression on her face for a brief moment, she didn’t bother to ask why. It wasn’t that she didn’t care, she just didn’t know how to ask or what the question would ensue. After-all, the only thing that could bring on a concerned look from him was something that she had said or done, and she hadn’t done anything, right? At least not yet.

Haley sighed before answering him. ”Believe it or not, this is one of the potions I don’t really need a test subject for. I just have to be really precise with one of the ingredients and it’s a little bit of a headache.” She paused for a moment to think. The moment an idea came to her, her eyes lit up with their usual mischievous glimer that promised Greyson he was in for something special. ”I do have this one recipe that’s supposed to be for… sort of like a babbling potion?” The young woman turned to grab one of the books off the table. ”Says here that it’s supposed to make the drinker talk nonsense for roughly an hour. Takes about twenty minutes to brew. Side effects include babbling, dry mouth from not being able to stop talking, and… that’s about it.”

Slamming the book shut, she looked back up at him. ”If you don’t want to be a test subject, I completely understand. But the healing potion is something I think I just need to come back to later.”

The boy nodded with acceptance to her reply, lightly chewing on the inside of his cheek as he stood listening to the daughter of Hecate speak. The mischievous look she gave forced a curious brow raise, his face flushing a couple shades lighter at what she was offering to him to test. Greyson smiled nervously a moment before it turned playful again.

“Would you like me t’stay so you can record your findings, as well?” Greyson chuckled, shifting his stance slightly as his eyes drifted down to Sheba who had wandered over to sit beside him. “You don’ wanna try it out on your new roomie I overheard you were getting?” The young man laughed, adjusting his gaze back up to Haley’s.

“I’m sure you’d enjoy that quite a bit more than testing just about any potion on me.” Greyson pulled his right hand from his back to check the time, noting it in his mind before returning it behind him. He knew Vivian most likely wouldn’t be at the Cafe all morning. He still had some time before he had to rush down there to snag his keys from her.

”Y’know what? It’s fine. It was just a random thought that I had,” she responded. ”And don’t remind me about the new room mate. Always messes with me before I meet them. Don’t know how they’re gonna react to - ” she spread her hands out wide. "- this.”

Greyson rolled his eyes at his friend, smirking slightly. “I can’t really complain about my roommate. Only thing I really had to get used to was waking up to the smell of blueberries radiating throughout the dorm on Saturdays, ha. But honestly, I don’ have the sligh’est clue why you seem to have such a low opinion of yourself, luv. You’re qui’e a lovely person to be around.”

Greyson gave the girl a stern look paired with a soft grin. This.” The young man shook his head, sighing heavily while still grinning at the girl. Greyson let a few moments pass before tilting his head, “Would you like me to leave you to your-" the boy spread a hand out, gesturing to her and her work, -this?” he smirked a bit.

Would it be wrong if she asked him to stay? Would it be weird if she admitted that it was actually sort of nice to have someone to talk to? Someone that didn’t think she was insane or just came to her whenever they needed something?

”You can if you want. I’m sure you have something else to do. Mornings are usually one of the busiest times for people, I guess. I’ll probably clean all of this mess up and head out here in a bit myself.”

Before Greyson had the chance to reply, he heard a voice from down the hall that took his attention away from the girl before him. Taking a quick glance down the corridor to spot David Almas and his pet two-headed dog, who could just barely be heard growling from where Greyson stood. Greyson gave David a grin and quickly looked to Haley to mumble, “‘Scuse me, luv. One sec.” before turning back to David. “Ih’s aw’right, David, don’t worry ‘bout ol’ Sheba. Pup couldn’t do any damage to her. More than welcome to have ‘em come check her out.”

Greyson looked over at the mechanical cat and clicked his tongue twice, calling her outside of Haley’s apartment just to be sure if anything did happen that it wouldn’t damage anything in her place. At the familiar call, the feline walked up to Grey with a head bump to his leg before stepping out into the hallway, gracefully sitting down staring at the young man and his monster canine. Greyson gave David a once-over, smirking a little. “Late start, mate?”

The young man heard his text-tone pop off in his pocket, quickly pulling his cell out to see a message from Chris. He shot a quick text back before pocketing his phone.

That would be great. Mind getting me one of those fruit/yogurt parfaits? The one with the granola? Thanks! Be there shortly.

Ok yes, the mechanical snow leopard looked like it could take a hit, and perhaps it was able to withstand Twilight's strength. But his horsesized companion was direct offspring of the guardian of the underworld, and David was unsure about what potential damage the creature could actually do. With any luck, the epic nature of their pets would cancel each other out a bit. Then again, what if the creatures would be fine, but the building would be damaged? The fact that Greyson seemed comfortable with it, made him slightly more optimistic. Still, if something did go wrong, he would feel terribly responsible. He sighed and decided to just watch how this scenario would unfold.

Dusk stopped. Dawn started barking at Sheba. David snuck through the minimal gap between his dog's body and the wall, only to find himself in the middle of a classic staredown between godly animals. "I hope you're right, Greyson." He quickly continued his way behind enemy lines. Once he had passed Sheba, he went on to fist-bump the other pet-owner. "Wait, what time is it? Did I oversleep again?" He had some trouble waking up lately. Most of the time, actually. Teachers were not a fan.

David peered into Hayley's room. "Morning moonshine, I was going to get some coffee at Appo's, Wanna join?"

Dawn had stopped barking, so David looked into the hallway once more, just to make sure. Dawn had started gnawing on the doorhandle of another room.

Marcella Aveline Bonaparte II & Rhea Franky Psomas

Interactions: @HereComesTheSnow, @Crimson Flame @Plank Sinatra @Krayzikk @Caasicam

Marcy observed the controlled chaos that was Dal’s breakfast at an Apollo diner. Things were thrown, he likened himself to a slut, he referenced his own romps with a child of Dionysus. It was good to be back.

She watched Beau leave, the man had removed his pink shirt and strode out of the room as if it wasn’t early an early morning café. Well, what were you going to do? When you hung around Dal too much you tended to lose clothing piece by piece. After last night and the soreness of her body this morning, Marcy was strictly in the laissez-faire mindset.

She picked at the food in front of her all the while touching on her own summer vacation. She talked about getting to damn a few souls to eternity in the void, a nice night she spent with an actress. Some other interesting tidbits she only half expected Dal to pay attention to. Though, to the boy’s credit in-between bouts of him scarfing food down he would pipe up to make a point, catching Marcy off her game. She had forgotten how observant Apollo’s favourite child could be.

As the sun began to assume its position and the bits of orange, peach and yellow fled from above them and gave way to pure ocean blue Marcy found herself watching outside. “What do you think will be the highlight of this year, Dal?” She asked, her voice was sweet. She looked warmly at him, letting her teeth gently rake her lip. “Any ideas?”

Rhea and Bekah shared a sentiment and glance when Liam knocked on the door. Rhea certainly didn’t mind the company, even if she felt a little weird given their dad’s. She wasn’t sure what Liam’s relationship with Zeus was, but she was sure he respected how big those shoes were to fill.

She graced him with a smile and a nod as she polished off her plate.

“Jonas these were seriously delicious.” She stretched out and offered a big toothy grin to her coach. “Man, I needed that.” He started to cook once more, and as he did he offered the group a question:

"In all of your years and all of your texts, who is a hero for running fearfully for the trees? I can recall none."

Rhea’s mind didn’t go to the history books. It wasn’t a question that demanded an answer. Jonas knew it already.

He wanted us to know that what we did, however it was handled by the staff, we were right. Whether they want to acknowledge it or not, it’s what they’ve been training us to do.

It was the right thing to do.

“You’re right.” Rhea confirmed quietly. She glanced at Dana; who’s compliment came as something of a surprise. Dana was always kind to Rhea, but not always as direct.

“Thank you, Dana. I’ve been working hard to improve, so, I’m glad it shows.” Rhea turned to the spitting image of Athena sitting across from her. “I've still got much to learn, though.” Rhea smiled half-heartedly at her, rubbing some sleep from her eyes.

Earlier...

It was right about now that Brynn was missing her cabin back at camp out on the lake. As good as she was putting on a smile and seemed to enjoy company, Brynn rather preferred and enjoyed her solitude. Having a roommate really wasn't ideal in her book, but it is what it is. It'd been a long morning waiting for Kazuma to leave the apartment before Brynn made her way out with Duke, who had been leaning against their room door staring her down for the last hour now. It was past the time to take him out for a walk. The girl walked up the door and grasped the handle, raising an eyebrow at Duke when he whined softly.

"Having a little trouble today, D?" the girl frowned slightly as she bent down to grab poor boy around his lower abdomen, hoisting him up into a standing position. The dog let out a low grumble, then a hefty sigh as he looked up at his girl and wagged his tail slightly. "There you go, buddy. Let's go outside." And just like that, he was a puppy again with a little hop in his step as he trotted to the front door. Brynn half-smiled at Duke, walking after him as she snagged his leash and a doggy bag from off the counter, stepping outside to take him out for the morning.

Once that was finished, Brynn brought Duke back inside and fed him a bowl of kibble before going off to take a hot shower. As much as she could have just stayed in the comfort of the warm shower, she knew classes needed to be attended. And if she didn't make the classes, she knew she'd have at least one person coming to drag her out of her apartment. She dressed herself in one of her favorite outfits, was sure to give Duke one last pet before heading out to the door. Just as she got there though, she heard a gods-awful sound from behind her. Brynn turned to see Duke coughing up water looking guilty up at Brynn, or at the very least embarrassed. Whatever the poor boy was feeling, it wasn't good. Brynn pinched the bridge of her nose, sighing heavily as she dropped her hand back down.

"You just don't want me to leave, do ya, D?" The old dog wouldn't even look at her. Poor guy. Brynn walked over to him and pat him on his side gently before wandering down the hall to grab a towel from the cupboard. "You gotta be careful, Duke. Can't be drinking your water so fast, bud." The girl walked back over to her dog and cleaned up his mess, spraying it and finishing it off with some disinfectant cleaner before tossing the towel into her room's hamper. As Brynn headed for the door, she checked all her pockets to make sure she had everything she needed. The girl snagged her canvas backpack before exiting the apartment, giving her pup one last 'be good' look as she closed the door.

For the first time this morning, she checked her phone and realized she had a few messages waiting for her. The two main ones that caught her eye were Chris and Greyson. She opened them both and checked the time stamps. 10 minutes ago. 'Shit.' They were probably already down there. She didn't bother replying. Brynn jogged downstairs and sprinted her way towards Apollo's, waving at a few passing friends along the way.

Present...

Brynn pushed her way through the entrance doors to Apollo's Cafe, narrowly missing a seemingly anxious student who pushed past her to get out the door. The girl stared after them a moment, thinking to herself, 'The charm never stops around here,' before turning back to the small crowd of people inside. Brynn headed for the counter up front while keeping her eyes open to try spotting Chris or Grey. She turned around and slowly walked backwards as she looked outside and spotted Greyson walking up with Haley and David. She smiled to herself and went to turn back around only to get run into, coffee spilling all down her front. Brynn gasped and threw her hands up, looking down at the floor. And her shoes. Her poor shoes.. that stain wasn't going to come out very easily, if at all.

All the girl could think to herself was 'Wooow.. first Duke, then this? What next, today?' Brynn turned her attention up to the person who'd run into her when she heard the familiar voice utter a 'sorry', only to realize it was Chris. Brynn quickly took the napkins given to her and started dabbing at her shirt, mumbling, "Was my fault, Chris. I'm sorry. Wasn't watching where I was going. I-I'll get you new ones." Brynn stopped dabbing the napkin on her shirt and bent down, picking up the spent coffee cups and lids from the floor with an apologetic grin.

Greyson chuckled and returned a fist-bump back to his friend. “No, mate. You’re fine. Was just giving you a hard time, is all. Just seems everyone wakes before dawn anymore.”

The young man made a slightly confused face when David called Haley ‘moonshine’, shrugging it off as he looked down the hall at the monstrous canine gnawing on the door handle to someone else’s apartment. “Tha’s going to be quite a problem. Good luck to whoeva’ on get’in into their flat late-uh,” Greyson rubbed the back of his neck firmly as he chewed on his lower lip, taking out his cell from his pocket to quickly shoot Brynn a ‘Hey B. Where are you? May wanna give Zo a heads up she’s gonna wanna have maintenance fix her flat door before she gets back to it.’ text before turning back to look to his two friends.

With Greyson stepping out into the hall, Haley expected for life to return to its perfect balance and leave her to her loneliness and potion making. Scribbling down quick notes again, it took her a moment to realize that she actually knew the second voice. When David offered to go to Apollos, Haley looked at him for a brief second as she nodded her head.

”Yeah, sure. Gimme just a sec.” Shoving her notes along with the currently used vials and boxes of ingredients into the top drawer of her desk, the young woman walked out of her room and looked towards Greyson. ”Did you wanna come to Apollos too, or did you have some other plans?”

Greyson turned his attention to Haley, nodding with a soft smile.“You were the only thing stopping me from going in the first place, luv. Le’s get on with it, shall we?.” The young man clapped a hand on David’s shoulder as he took a step back out into the hallway, clicking his tongue twice before turning to wander off with Sheba at his heels.

David watched how Greyson’s pet was completely obedient, and then at how his own, was feasting on the metal door handle of apartment 2G. Wasn’t that the Zeus’ kids place? He put his left hand on the back of his head. At least there hadn’t been a fight. He was glad, but also left with a faint disappointment that comes with anti-climactic events.

Suddenly the giant head of Dusk pushed David aside somewhat and looked into Hayley’s room. ”I think he’s hoping you’ll bring Nala along.” There wasn’t much that animated Dusk. Haley’s dog was one among few things.

As the three pet owners walked on through the hallway, David rubbed some more sleep from his eyes. He had hoped to be just with Haley. He didn’t have anything against Greyson. It was just that he was waking up, and preferred his comfort zone. What a rollercoaster

Greyson headed out and down the sidewalk, taking a short cut across the grass field towards the campus buildings in the direction of Apollo’s. As the young man walked, he pulled out his mechanical pencil and clicked it out into his training bo staff, twirling it in front and behind him as he walked. Had Brynn been up and about at the break of dawn, Greyson could have easily gone for an early morning training sesh. It’d been a bit too long since he’d had a sparring session with his good friend, Bronwyn. She’d been busy doing her own thing, training with others who were better skilled than him. It was completely fine, he just missed the old days when it was just their thing.

With everything packed away as it should be, Haley shut and locked the door to her apartment after her. Whoever was her new roommate better had hoped that they had a key. Giving Dusk a pat on the head before she responded to Greyson, she quickly looked around for Nala.

”Truth to be told, Nala’s probably roaming around campus somewhere. I let her out earlier this morning. Considering she always follows her nose, I’m sure we’ll see her on the way to Apollos.”

Once they were down the stairs and out of the door to the apartment building, Haley was surprised at how warm the sun felt on her skin. Truth to be told, she hadn’t really been outside of the apartment for a few days unless it was for class, and even then she had worn her hoodie like usual. It wasn’t that she was scared to be outside, or that she didn’t like it outside. She just had a few things that added to her comfort or comfort zone and she liked to keep them close. If that meant getting questionable looks as she wore her favorite hoodie in eighty degree weather, so be it.

”So what’s y’alls plans for the rest of the day?”

”My first class for today is power use and control. Not too fond of going there after how it ended last year. ”
Anastasia had pushed David to make a hole as large as he could. But then it swallowed one of Aphrodite’s kids. She spend a full day in the underworld before they could get her back. She probably still hates me.
”After break it’s MC, with Socrates. Always nice.”

Dawn had started chasing his tail, when they were halfway the grass field.
When David opened the door to Apollo’s, the aroma of fresh coffee caressed his nostrils. Which already helped his morning mood.
”And what about you?” He asked his companions.

Once inside, he realized that despite the early morning, the demi-gods would display extravagant behavior. Gods, Beau, put your shirt back on.

As they approached the cafe, Greyson retracted his staff and slid the pen through the top of his button-up shirt, smoothing it out before stepping forward to hold the door open for Haley. His eyes were fixated inside, keeping an eye out for Vivian and his set of keys. Within seconds, he spotted her sitting by the window accompanied by Luci. He looked to David and Haley with an apologetic smile, “Sorry guys, I ‘ave’ta go see Viv. Catch up lat’uh.” he began to walk towards Vivian between the scattered groups of people standing around but before he could go very far, he spotted Chris and Brynn with what looked like latte spilled all down the front of them. He looked to Viv, then to the girls and sighed softly as he grabbed a few extra handfuls of napkins from a table, walking over to help his friends.

"I cah'nt take you girls anywhere, can I?" The young man smirked at his two friends, handing them each a set of new napkins and threw some down onto the floor spill for added measure.

After putting his phone down It seemed as if everything was going to go back to being boring and dull in the café. Ito scanned his eyes over the landscape, and nothing caught his attention. That was until he saw Beau react to the stain on his shirt. It was a beautiful shirt. Shame it got ruined really. Ito expected Beau to storm off in a hurry to go get changed.

Except something entirely different began to unfold. Instead of walking away, Beau took off his shirt leaving himself topless. From the waist upwards Beau DeRose was showing nothing but bare skin. Ito had to take a moment to shake his head, just to make sure that he wasn't in any way dreaming. The shaking confirmed what he already knew: This wasn't a dream. Not in the slightest. While it was very similar to the dreams he did have Beau, this was the real deal.

At that point in time, Ito was no longer in control of his body. He could feel his heartbeat increasing, those breaths of his turning into slightly faster pants. And it was only going to get worse as Beau began to walking along towards him. Ito was crushing so hard now that it was actually rather shocking that he hadn't tried to teleport away. His Adams apple became stiff as Beau made the final steps forward, swallowing becoming rather difficult as Beau closed in.

And then Beau leaned in and kissed his cheek. The sudden action caused his heart to stop for a second ; time itself seems to slow down. A moment later everything went back to normal and all of the sudden his heart was racing at a thousand beats per minute. That sensation of euphoria rushed through his body like a pulsating wave as the males lips brushed his skin. Ito had truly began to lose control of his body as he gave in to certain bodily urges, those urges you get when you are really attracted to someone. Ito wanted to do something. His mind racing a million miles an hour with thoughts. Part of him wanted to do unspeakable things: the kind of things that were only in his dreams. Other parts of him wanted to be all romantic and tender, pulling the blonde into a deep kiss. While the rest of him was just panicking over what to say.

He was crushing. Crushing like mad. In all of his time here at the academy he had never been able to get this close to Beau. He had always stayed on the outside. Afraid that Beau would want to stay away from him if he knew the truth. Raising his arm to hide the developing blush that was appearing on his cheeks, Ito looked down, scooping his phone with his free arm to see if he had any messages: Nothing. There was no escape. He was going to have to say something.

"Hello… Beau. Looking beautiful… I mean looking good. You look good. How are you?" Smooth Ito. Really smooth. Way to give it all away in the first sentence. He took a sip of his drink once more, trying not to give away just how nervous he was right now. Teleporting away would be a preferable escape right now. It was a shame he didn't have time travel powers.

"The highlights of this year?" Dallas asked incredulously. His ultramarine eyes were locked upon Marcy's face with barely disguised bemusement, eyebrow cocked at the inanity of the question and at the infinitesimally small contours the demigoddess' teeth were leaving in her bottom lip. "What am I, in a job interview? You going to ask what I can bring to the team next? Fine. I'm pursuing my master's degree in Trojan Warfare from Olympus Academy. I worked at a Starbucks once. Well, I mean, I flipped Adderall, but it was in a Starbucks bathroom. And it was for my master's. Oh, and I'm a dynamic thinker, I work hard, and I play great in a team setting. As long as you don't try and brainwash me."

Dallas' teeth clicked when he smirked, and those vibrant blue eyes rolled up into his head briefly.

"Jesus, Marcy -- ugh, whatever, Apollo, Marcy -- we're fucking fifth years. We've been through this song and dance before. You idiots are the highlight of my year every single go-around. Normally the parties rock, too, but I guess that's out the fuckin' window. So I guess we're just down to you idiots." He reached over with a fork and bopped the daughter of Hades' button nose with the end of his fork. "Especially you, idiot. Fine. Your fucking turn. Gimme the highlight of your year and three references I can contact."

"Cook again, oniichan," Dana urged, echoing Rebekah's command. "Bulk soon. As Ares is my witness, I shall become a 145er and a modern day Amazon. Then I will slay each and every one of my predecide--prede--"

...

"I must kick everyone older than us to death." Dana bowed her head in time to see the notification of another text on the screen of her phone, and she excitedly pulled it up. Kaz hadn't responded; instead, it was Ito, another Japanese student on campus that Dana and Kaz had taken under their wings. He would prove to make a fine KamiRanger someday, even if it was taking a while for him to get to know his betters. That was cool. She liked a little bit of impetuousness. Dana was impetuous herself.

Otherwise someone else would be destined to beat all teachers to death instead of her.

David Almas

Interacting with: Marcy @Write, Dallas @Plank Sinatra and Haley @HaleyTheRandom

"Three coffee please. Black." There was a new guy behind the counter. "No. No I don't a.. No! NO Puppacino's! No, my dog drinks coffee like normal people. Thank you very much." Yeez. He turned around to Haley with his hands full of coffee cups, after throwing some coins on the counter that were still in his pocket from the time he was chilling with Charon. "Here ya go. One soulcoloured coffee for the lady."

David looked around the café with still a cup of coffee in each hand. For some reason he still expected a normal café scene every time he came here. But the demi-gods were tirelessly excersizing their uniqueness. Today was a fairly quiet day it seemed. Let's see

1) People spilling coffee by the window
2) Half-naked lovescene in the corner
3) Dallas and David's half-sister doing a job interview on the other side of the room

Nothing unusual so far
It was almost too quiet. As if any moment something could happen. David wasn't sure if he would be relieved or dissapointed if it wouldn't.

4) Zoey Kepler smiling to herself and her dog at the bar "Oh crack!"

Now halfway his first coffee, he had totally forgotten that Dawn had F-d up the Zeus kids apartment doorhandle. Time was of the essence. And it was time to ask a favor.

David walked up to his half-sister and coughed just too suspiciously.
"Hey Mars!" Wide grin, then nodding at her companion. "Morning Dallas"
Back to Marcy:
"Hey, I was thinking, remember how I always thought it was really cool that you can bend metal and all.."

The young man's response was what some people might have called frigid. While his what he had said had been short and to the point, Alva wasn’t exactly pleased with said response. She took a seat across from Felix, crossing her arms in front of her as she sat down.

Some people may have been nervous about meeting their half sibling. Alva was not. If anything she was just curious and wanted to get to know the man. If he didn't feel the same, well, she would have went about her way and ordered a delicious banana nut muffin for breakfast. However he did seem open to having some sort of conversation, so Alva went along.

”Of course I’ve always known that I wasn’t the only one of our mothers children. Just a bit surprised that we haven’t met yet. But hey, it’s a big campus. I suppose it might happen a lot more than one might think, hm? I assume that life here at OA has… suited you these last few years?”

Well, Alva obviously didn’t feel as nervous as he did about meeting a half-sibling for the first time. In fact, she seemed rather stand-offish. But then again he hadn’t exactly given a warm introduction.

“Well to be honest I’ve kind of avoided you” he admitted before holding up his hands to defend himself, “not that I didn’t want to meet you but for your own sake.”

“Because life hasn’t always been easy for me here.” he continued, with a melancholy half-smile. “Our mother wasn’t on best terms with many other deities when I started so I was… bullied a bit and ostracised to be honest.” He sighed. “But now that she’s back in good graces, you were fine starting here and I’m just seen as the adventuring loner. So I didn’t want to tarnish people’s opinion of you by association. Better that you have the chance I didn’t have.”

He realised he’d just garbled at her in an honest outpouring of emotion that he’d never really expressed before. But hell, it was his last year here, what did he have to lose?

Marcy’s expression was perhaps a confusing one, as she regarded Dallas chewing on every aspect of the question. At first, he did what he was born to do, turn a question into an Oscar-award worthy monologue detailing such normalcies as dealing ADHD medication in a popular coffee chain bathroom. But when Marcy watched his cobalt-blue eyes roll up to the back of his head as she realized he’d have to give a genuine answer for her to be satisfied a smile crept upon her lips.

The fork collided with her nose, but didn’t leave before she could give it a quick peck. She purposefully looked at the fork rather than Dallas and mouthed ‘call me’ to it before letting her eyes roll back over to Apollo’s spitting image sitting across from her.

“Who, me?” She asked, a faux-shocked expression happily adorned by her. “The highlight of my year, three references? My, my. So many choices? Who wouldn’t hotly anticipate our annual drive-in date night? But then, perhaps we’ll be so lucky as to see Rhea get drunk enough to do karaoke to the Canadian national anthem for a fourth straight year? I suppose you’d also be obligated to put in some kind of bid towards Jonas’ big fight of the year. The one he really goes all out in. You know just gives it his all? But highlight?” Her tongue clicked as she purposefully averted her gaze, staring down at her now empty plate. She returned to meet Dal’s gaze after a heartbreakingly long five seconds. “I don’t know, what’re you up to in twenty minutes?”

Kelsey regretted being so kind as to offer Kaz a spot at her breakfast table. The dude just stood there staring at her, like he had witnessed a thousand embarrassing losses by his favorite wrestler all at once. Fuck, I thought this dude understood English 'n shit. Well fuck, I ain't waitin' fur his donkey ass to-

Speaking of asses, Kelsey was distracted when her own started to vibrate. She plucked her phone from the back pocket of her jeans and brought it forward. While she expected to be annoyed, instead there was only a massive sigh of relief.

Dusty D 💛
IT'S ALIVEEE!! Like frankenstein's monster you get it? I smell like I died 2.

I am now sad about my tooth as well. Make me feel better, let's get breakfast. Phone dying. Ttyl. Love you ho.

It was if a gigantic weight had been lifted from Kelsey's chest and brain all at once, seeing that her best friend was not only still alive, but literally seemed no worse for the wear. At least in spirit she wasn't. Vivian still had Dustyn's tooth, after all. Swear that girl's got sum Wolverine healin' shit or somethin' she ain't tellin' people 'bout. She might get that tooth back after all. Kelsey was quick to respond.

Dusty D 💛
Holy shit, girl. I'll get whatever breakfast you want. Just glad to see you up and about. Hopefully you don't want brains or nothing.

Meet u at Apollo's? Your brother might be coming with since he found me in the woods? I dunno. He seems spaced as fuck.

Either way, super happy you're awake and talking again. See you soon. ❤️❤️

With the phone slid into her back pocket, Kelsey started packing up her archery equipment as best as she could with her burgeoning gravity powers. "Well, I dunno 'bout you dude, but I'm meetin' ur sister fur food. You kin come with... or you kin stay here with your tree. Your call. I don't care." With her arrows all tucked away, Kelsey slung her bow over her shoulder and started heading back towards civilization, and back to her best friend.

"Then it's a good thing we didn't run, now isn't it?" Rebekah posited, continuing to munch on her initial plate of food while Jonas began anew. It was simple enough, in her view; Jonas' indignation was righteous, but who cared? Idiots didn't change their minds. Forget the staff. It would have been much better, surely, to let themselves get torn apart. Obviously. That would make for a much better reflection of the staff's values. "We need not concern ourselves with whether or not such tales exist. Dana is right. The staff are fools. They exist for us to surpass, and their rules will be followed only while it continues to be convenient. We are alive because of our skills, and not because of their help. If we had done what they want we would be dead. So fuck them."

"The worst they can do is kick us out, and I'm not learning employable skills here. If they did kick us out my mother is on speed dial, and I would remind her she was not always so rule-abiding herself."
She shrugged, taking another bite and pausing to chew. "Or they kick us out. So what. I'll direct them to kiss my ass on the way out, preferably in more sophisticated terminology so they are too feeble to understand. The fight is done. Their rebuke is done, and good riddance. Continuing to steam over it is pointless. Get even instead."

The food was delicious, but she really did want coffee. Dana's comment of "bulk soon" earned a brief grin and swift wink before her eyes resumed raking the room. Relo had to have brought a coffee maker. She would have simply sprinted for her room, prepared a cup in a moment and returned but in a room full of people fast enough to track her movements that would be very rude. If Dallas brought a machine with him, though, she could set it up under the auspices of helpfulness and prepare a cup for herself. And a cup for anyone who wanted one, of course.

And it was Dallas Relo. He was so fussy that it would undoubtedly be a decent machine.

"So put it out of your mind, Highwind, and take solace in the fact that they cannot punish you in any way that matters. Now. Psomas. Assist me in a visual inspection of Dallas' possessions. I want to find his coffee maker."

"Good, you're not a coward." he flippantly intoned from the stove, "Otherwise I'd have to toss you in the fridge, Danaye. Akhmat zila."

Mechanically turning over the bacon and setting the water into another swirl, Jonas couldn't deny his appreciation of the sentiment his sister had laid out, inside jokes about the cowardice of weight-cutting aside— for all they were trumped up to be, the faculty were in the end little more than an obstacle. A bump in the road that they could collectively climb over, maybe not so easily as those gathered here would think, but surmountable all the same.

And yet.

"Yeah, fuck 'em. I reached the same conclusion when you got here."

One by one, another set of eggs were cracked into the simmering vortex. He looked up from the pot for a moment, steely eyes seemingly set on boring holes through the kitchen's walls and out towards something a horizon away. Rebekah was sharp enough to understand their position as he did, naturally, but what he and she were thinking seemed to be a different story. It was inevitable, even disregarding that they simply processed information differently (as any two people would). Their stakes, their personal investments, their aspirations— all were definitely distinct.

"It's just the principle, I guess. You'd think that here, of all places, my chasing Herakles would be fostered and encouraged, but it looks like I was mistaken."

He removed the bacon, now sufficiently crisp, and toasted the remaining muffins.

If there was one commonality, it was that they were both here simply because they had to be, and simply because everyone around them that they cared for was as well. He didn't know what Bekah's goals were. What she dreamed of. Flippant as she was, they certainly had nothing to do with OA. She shared none of his expectations, however flimsy they had become in the five years he'd held onto them. He didn't know if even she had laid any dream out yet, but what he did know were his own.

"I'm just having to face that reality now. It's been in front of me for a long time, just tucked away enough to ignore, but after today it's slapped me in the face and spat upon my boot."

Lofty ideals, shining images upon the hills of Elysium that were immortalized in human memory through their deeds, through their valor. He wanted to count himself amongst their number. He had been blessed with great power, and had thought that it would be cultivated better nowhere else than here before he threw himself into the world to use it, wholeheartedly, for good.

Their rebuke was by all rights a tacit rejection of the notion.

As if he were childish for thinking of it at all.

"I guess I shouldn't be surprised at having to carve my own path, seeing as I always kind of figured I would. It's my own naivete that's in eating at my head the most. In that regard, I guess their punishment may have worked a little on me after all— Just not quite how they planned it."

Another platter slid onto the table, having been assembled as he multitasked.

He folded brawny arms, and leaned against the counter as his assembled guests either ate or set themselves to work on his best friend's luggage.

"Now I just won't expect my skepticism to ever be shaken. Or a thank you. So with all that said,"

He managed to smirk again.

"I don't really care what kinda mess you make of his stuff, but make sure you leave mine alone. Might get kicked out sooner than we think. I'd hate repacking."
