What breed? and what color is he? What about his personality?

He's a tiny toy poodle. Red in color, has a white spot on his chest. Not sure of his personality, but the current owner says he's very friendly.

I judge so hard when you watch low production/acting quality shows.

It is difficult to watch a show/movie with a great story idea, but poor acting or poor direction. Really takes the steam out of it. I watch these sappy Christmas stories occasionally on Netflix or Hallmark. Some of them just kill me.

I agree, but I'm a completionist and struggle to back out early in the film/show, so I force myself to watch until the end. Just watched an apocalyptic film about a disease that spreads by touch/breath/blood (but apparently can be wiped out by bleach) and it was horrible. Like, "oh, those gloves I just used to touch where the infection might be prominent? Just let me touch my face, hair, etc." horrible.

I do drop shows/films every now and then, though. The TV show version of the Mist and recently Netflix's Daybreak are ones that come into mind, mainly because they were so laden with current day political commentary despite said commentary adding nothing to as well not even being close to the main idea/plot of the show. Lasted 2 or maybe 3 episodes (can't remember) into the Mist and only one episode into Daybreak.

Speaking of apocalyptic stuff, I plan on writing a post-apocalyptic plague story. It seems fun.

Hallmark Christmas doesn't exist for good story/acting.

It's legit just there to look super pretty and be just generic enough for any woman to put themselves into whatever main character.

Gag me. ;)

I saw the most humble homeless guy outside of the dollar store entertaining people with his Dalmatian Bulldog mix. I thought it was the greatest thing.

The amount of students who I have taught even just in passing following presentations or those similar alarm me. It is increasingly more apparent that none of them know much of anything about the world; I should not need to explain the function of ecology or the basic premises of life as a science as far as its interlinking components stretch. For some reason I need even tell them that all things are connected, those abiotic and those biotic at that, and the consequences of any one act, rather than them knowing or understanding this. For all my hope that one day this will be different, I fret it will never be enough.

Booked a flight to Japan.

Went to the airport.

Got a phone call saying my dog is sick.

Dragged my bags and went home without a second thought.

For now, he is, but this is the second time he is getting sick this month. The pattern is concerning.

It is not uncommon for me to lose track of time should I have nothing scheduled. Inverse to this, if I have a set series of events in a schedule, they are always met well in advance of their date.

I recall leading a small patrol of eleven soldiers involved in a training event at Camp Edwards, MA on Cape Cod. We had just participated as the Opposing Force (OPFOR) against a rifle company. When we left the B company area of operations, we cut through the woods to the north and came upon the grass belt alongside state route 6. Our patrol base was in the north east corner of the military installation but closer to the east side. We walked in single file, roughly ten meters between each soldier. We wore standard BDU uniform, our faces were painted green and we had vegetation sticking out of our clothing. Most carried M16A1 rifles, a few had M203 grenade launchers and one man carried the "Pig", an M60 machine gun. We turned the corner at the end of the tree line, heading south along state route 130. As we walked, a school bus passed by filled with High School boys, probably just completed some sporting event somewhere on Cape Cod. When they saw us walking in the open near the tree line which made up Camp Edwards Military Reservation. They all started screaming and shouting out the windows. They appeared to be quite excited. It kind of made us feel good too. That was over thirty years ago. I remember it like it was yesterday.

Sasha Sloan's Self Portrait album is currently my favorite album. My favorite song from said album is Thank God. I find that most of her music helps me feel more calm. Not sure why.

Furthermore, I'm starting a playlist on Spotify of songs that help calm me and such. It's starting slow. I'll update you guys on that when it actually starts to amount to something.
