|Background:|Jupiter comes from a rather normal cookie cutter background. Instead of growing up wealthy like most of her classmates, she was raised in an upper middle class home by her loving family. Lennons father Henry worked as the head lawyer at a very successful corporation dealing in automobiles. Her mother Elizabeth worked part-time as a librarian. The rest of her days were spent at home cleaning, cooking, and taking care of their five children.
The oldest was Hendrix, Jupiter's 23-year-old brother. Currently, he was in college with a focus on attaining his business degree. He had always been extremely protective of his siblings. Especially Jupiter since she was his only sister.
After Jupiter was her twin siblings Noah and Skylar. They were at the annoying age of 12 and pestered their sister every chance they could get. Then finally, the baby of the family was little James at 4 years old. His life ambition is just to start kindergarten next year.
They all lived in a spacious suburban home on the outskirts of Portland, Oregon. A fantastic place for nature lovers to raise a family. They had it all. A golden retriever named Apollo. A long-haired Maine Coon named Loki. White picket fence and even a treehouse in their backyard.
While Jupiter absolutely adored her family and was forever thankful that she had been raised with such abundance, there was a huge part of her that craved the freedom to start her own journey. Like with any 18-year old she wanted space to self-reflect and figure out what she wanted out of life.
It was during her Junior year at Garfield High, a local public school, that she seized an opportunity that would change everything. A flyer hung in the principles office stating that currently there was a scholarship opportunity to attend a prestigious institution. It promised that all tuition and living arrangements would be paid in full so long as the contender met all requirements.
Alexandrina Prepatory School was as elite as they came. This private school practically guaranteed all students who studied there would have a golden ticket to anything they wanted in life. While they mostly catered to the elite families of the one percent, this new opportunity was meant to show their more "charitable" nature.
It was no secret that Jupiter was a brain. In her entire scholastic career thus far she had always gotten straight A's. She didn't know why, but learning just came easily to her. Her photographic memory allowed her to study and pass her classes with ease. At one point everyday courses became too boring for her to bear. During her electives, she decided to sign up for more challenging courses like Chemistry and Advanced Physics.
However, her real passion was in the arts. Yes she was fantastic in things having to due with logic and rational... But what really made her heart race with excitement was her creativity. In every spare moment, she would be seen writing songs, painting, dancing, or even skateboarding. Deep down she was a free spirit who craved adventure.
Along with submitting her application she also made sure to add necessities like; a letter of recommendation from her principal, and the report cards she recieved since the age of five.
It didn't take long for her inbox to notify her of the email she had been hoping for. Acceptance to the academy.
Her parents were thrilled and fully supported their daughter's success. Meanwhile, Jupiter's little siblings were sad to see her go.
After a long and tearful goodbye she boarded the plane and took off, excited to start her new adventure.
