Tinley Abercrombie and Tempest Renroir

Location: Quinjet
Skills: Healing Manipulation (Tempest)

Tinley expected the shit to hit the fan once they were on the ship. She just expected to be the one causing it. As she turned, Raynor screamed for Tempest. Tempest nearly dropped her portable computer before she stood up and glanced over. "Wha-...what happened?" She didn't expect anything but based on Raynor's reaction and given Sparky's nature and the fact she was off to the side next to him, she expected that Sparky was in trouble. Tempest ran over and put a hand on Sparky's.
[/color] she addressed Sparky this time, "we'll need to get you to the same place Cass went." Raynor went off on Oliver as Tempest began to heal Sparky. She struggled at first, but eventually, she managed to take the edge off. This felt different though. It bothered her how it felt..wrong when she tried with Cass. Like it grew.

Tinley stormed over, standing directly in front of Oliver as Raynor charged at him. "Raynor, back the fuck down, now! I get your anger but that will not solve the problem. And if there will be anything done, it will be from me. Ensure she's ok after Tempest checks her and then I need you to pilot this bird out of here. We're doing the mission. That will help her out far more than blasting Oliver." She knew her words probably fell on deaf ears, but she wasn't about to have her team kill each other.

She turned on Oliver. "You're right, you aren't fired but you can bet your ass this is going in my report. I was going to do this in private but maybe this is better. You endangered my team and I do not take that lightly. You do something this stupid again and I will personally shoot your ass out in space and let the galaxy take care of you. For now, sit your ass down, shut your mouth, and do something productive."

Once Tempest was done, she ran over to Oliver and healed him too. She gave him a warm smile, though she figured it didn't do all that much for him. She addressed Tinley now. "Sparky is sick, but it's...different. It's like the disease mutated. She'll need aid if there's any hope of curing it." Tinley took a deep breath. "Sparky, this is your call. You want to go where Cass is and be healed or you willing to go on this mission? Either way, we're moving now if we have any hope of saving everyone else."

Sparky hadn't expected Raynor's reaction to be the best, however his reaction was a bit over the top in her mind. Almost like there was something else on his mind as opposed to just her getting the start of the symptoms. It was almost like he had given up on her living through this whole thing,, but she wasn't one to give up hope at all. She wanted to fight the Black Order for as long as she was able, she wasn't going to see about abandoning her team now. "Ray calm down a little bit... Take a few deep breaths okay?" she said softly to him, putting a hand on his shoulder in hopes he'll calm down.

Flynn raised a bit of an eyebrow at the chaos that seemed to be unfolding around him when he got back on board the Quinjet. First, it seemed that Sparky was going to talk to Raynor about something, and whatever it was he had no idea. However, based on Raynor's reaction to blast light at Oliver, he had a pretty good idea. Sparky had to have gotten M-Pox from that few seconds exposure that Oliver had caused. He didn't think Raynor was really over reacting. If something like that had happened to Bonnie (if she had been a mutant or something) he'd probably have burned Oliver at the stake right then and there.

"Okay, look, Oliver screwed up, and you all can beat the crap out of him later. So right now, we have other things to deal with... Like you know... Saving the world so we don't all die? Or that not everyone down there gets killed and Earth doesn't get wiped out like Attilan was. So how about we just get on with the mission... It's her choice if she wants to go on the mission or not," Flynn commented with a bit of a shrug towards everyone. He took a seat on the Quinjet, just waiting to see what would happen.

She let out a bit of a sigh, but she was grateful for Tempest coming over to her to see what she could do with her powers to deal with the symptoms. Hearing the words that it seemed to have mutated caused her to frown. That was more then a bit strange, and she had no idea what to even really think about that. "Thank you Tempest," she said, giving her a smile before she turned to look over at everyone else. "Look... I plan on helping out with this mission for as long as possible. I don't want to go to the hospital, since I'm still capable of doing things, so I'm going with you all to Cardiff." she said firmly, glancing over at Raynor to see what he'd say or do.

The Kingdom of Attilan - the Moon: February 14th, 2021 - 11:20 A.M.

Raynor Blake

Location: the Quinjet
Skills: Small Aircraft Piloting

"No, no he did this!" Raynor snapped, refuting Maria's notion that Sparky had been exposed on Earth. He couldn't have ruled it out. It was just easier for him to blame this on Oliver, rather than acknowledge that Sparky could have been dying far earlier. Oliver was someone for him to hate - someone for him to brutalize in revenge. He didn't even respond to Matt's request for them to punch Oliver later, although Raynor was intending on doing far more than just punching the new agent.

"Right, because the people of Cardiff need someone so fucking selfish that they couldn't wait a damn minute for everyone else to get suited up!" Raynor raged. In his opinion, the people of Cardiff would most likely be better off without Oliver going anywhere near them. How many times had they been warned to be careful with the Terrigen Mist? How could someone be so careless as to expose their entire team? It made him miss Novikova. She had hurt people and doomed the world, but at least her methods made sense.

He took a huffy breath, admittedly comforted a little bit by the fact that Tinley threatened to blast Oliver out into space. He approved of that option. And as Tempest gave her diagnosis, Raynor just wanted to scream at the universe again. He knew why Tempest felt Sparky's case was different - she wasn't an ordinary mutant. Her biological father's condition made sure of that. He stared at her, wanting to drag her to a hospital, but would they be able to help her?

"Fine," he told Sparky, piloting the quinjet now as they left the surface of the Moon and he plotted a course for Cardiff. "But after this is all over, we're going to see Dr. Pym. And then I'm going to call in a favor and get Dr. Banner to look at you too. The radiation in the Quantum Realm might have something to do with this." The very last bit was a white lie. He knew that it was gamma radiation that was the problem.

Bonnie Chase

Location: the Mirror Dimension
Skills: N/A

"Yes, it is remarkably similar to the processes that Spirit uses with her mutant abilities," Strange commented. He knew very well who Carolina Reed was, yet it wasn't due to her status as a member of the X-Men as most would suspect. She had been unfortunately caught up in a scheme plotted by the demon Mephistopheles prior to the tragedy of Altsoba - a school for those with unnatural talents. Her presence in Coventry during Hel's brief rise to power also drew the attention of the sorcerers.

"Your condition will continue to worsen here - yet at a linear rate, rather than the exponential one you had been experiencing," Strange explained. "As your doctor, I must recommend that you stay in the mirror dimension."

Bonnie's head was spinning slightly - mostly due to the ever changing nature of their surroundings. It was like they were working on Cass' health inside of a kaleidoscope. She couldn't help but feel powerless to aid her best friend. Her thoughts couldn't help but go back to the Ultron incident. She wished they could just turn back time to save Cass, but what if doing so destroyed the world again? She couldn't choose Cass over the human race. "Your magic - there has to be some treatment for her, something," Bonnie reasoned. "Even if it's just something that can alleviate her symptoms... Like her lifeforce, can we somehow... put it back in her? Or could I give her some of mine, like a transfusion?"

"Some beings do feed off of the life force of others - psychic vampires is the term for them. What you are proposing is not unheard of, but just as not all blood types are compatible, the same is true for life forces," Strange answered. "What species are you, doctor? Mutant? Inhuman?"

"I'm human."

"Ordinary, then," he sighed slightly. He then reached forward and took Bonnie's wrist, scratching it with his fingers. Bonnie gasped a bit, not accustomed to the strange chilling sensation that took place. Her wrist began to glow slightly as some of her life force was exposed, allowing Strange to examine to see if she was a suitable donor for Cass.

"Well? Is there a magical... blood typing test?" Bonnie asked, pressuring the sorcerer as much as she could. She wanted to save her best friend. If using her life force would help Cass, then she wasn't going to hesitate. It also meant that if they could somehow cure Cass, they might be able to produce a cure for others and eliminate the threat that M-Pox posed not just to mutants, but to the world.

"You're in luck - you match perfectly," Strange said. He then waved his hand and life force from Bonnie seemed to travel through the air, heading into Cass' body. As the transfer process occurred, the symptoms of M-Pox were dramatically decreased in Cass. "You're no ordinary human, Dr. Chase."

Cassandra Reed

Location: Kirby General Hospital - NYC, The Mirror Dimension
Skills: N/A

It was still a really weird feeling being out of her body, and with the way the mirror dimension was made her feel a little bit dizzy she closed her eyes for a moment and sighed a little bit. As much as she wanted to go back out and help the rest of the team, her condition would still continue to deteriorate. Though it would be much slower, then being outside of the mirror dimension she looked at Bonnie for a moment her best friend and her being a doctor as well wanted her opinion as well. "What do you think? Should I stay here?" She asked, it didn't help having a second opinion and she trusted Bonnie a lot more because she was her best friend.

She floated a little bit more helpless she certainly wasn't any kind of medical professional, as Strange did his thing and Bonnie asking about medical treatment some kind of magical blood transfusion. Cassandra watched Doctor Strange grabbed her friend's wrist and scratched it, staring at Bonnie's lifeforce for a moment as Strange examined it still completely out of her element when Strange said that she and Bonnie were a perfect match, she was grateful for Bonnie helping her.

Cass went back into her body and slowly sat up letting out a slight groan as she rubbed her neck slightly looking at the two of them as she thought for a moment. Maria's second power was life-force absorption, she wasn't sure if her powers could work on giving it to another person rather then draining it. "Maria has life-force absorption would it be possible for her to give some back maybe? Also do you know of any long term effects of M-Pox?" Cass asked, though she was also wondering what he meant by Bonnie not being an ordinary human. "What do you mean by that?" Cassandra asked.

She was curious why Strange had even come here in the first place. Reading through Niah's report during Ultron's reign Strange did help them within that timeline, and he had been there during House of M that Wanda had created. "Also I am really grateful for your help with treating me, you don't really come here unless there is something really bad that's going to happen why did you help me?"

Maria Novikova

Location: Attilan, Quinjet
Skills: N/A

Even though Oliver did something really dumb and stupid, he was still a member of their team if Sparky was exposed because of Oliver's stupid move and she did die because of it, then that was a different matter all together. Maria looked at Sparky and Tempest as she tended to her, hearing that her M-Pox had mutated didn't sound good at all. Maria took a step to the side when Tinley stepped in, she knew that pissing her off wasn't a good idea at all. Something that she had learned not to do when she tried helping Novikova a little bit before the whole Ultron thing.

Maria walked over towards Theresa and looked towards her friend for a moment, she was actually worried about her. "When we get back to Earth did you want to talk to Novi or something?" She asked, Maria didn't think that Sparky remaining on the mission was a good idea at all. Cass' condition turned in a matter of days, while Sparky's case was different from Cass' she wasn't a medical professional but it was a little risky.

Matt was thankful that Raynor stood down. He took his own seat as the jet started moving. He wanted to make sure that Sparky and Cass were both alright but they had something much bigger to deal with. They were only two people. The whole world was in danger. One of his parents was in danger. One of them had to be inhuman. If he couldn't focus on trying to save the whole world he'd focus on saving those who mattered to him. It was a lot less to carry.

"What's our plan then? In Cardiff, we need to find this guy and then what? Convince him to go with us? Or is Ryanor just gonna pick him up and carry him off? Then somehow convince him to kill his own father?" Matt wasn't certain if fulfilling the prophecy that Thanos was obsessing over or making it stop was the ideal plan. Though any knowledge of Greek mythology and prophecy meant that it was impossible to avoid the prophecy. Thane had to kill Thanos. There was no avoiding it. The act of trying to avoid it, as Thanos was doing, would make it happen.

Oliver Sullivan

Oliver's face reddened with Tinley dressing him down, and just nodded, keeping his mouth shut, as she so eloquently told him to. Raynor's words only deepened his shame, making him unable to really look any of these people in the eyes. The only thing he could really think to do would be take the downtime in the ship to try to do something useful to locate this Thane person. Any of that, however, would have to wait until they were at least back into orbit, knowing that he couldn't do any kind of real work until he had a semi-reliable internet connection. Searching for a place to sit, he opted for a place away from the others, not being able to be near them at this point.

This felt horrible, more than anything, not knowing if Cass was okay or not, not knowing if it was him who did it to her. One thing he planned on doing, once he was back on Earth, was tracking her down, and seeing if he could ascertain anything about her condition. Even if it was just for himself, he needed to know. He figured if she was at a hospital, she had to have a patient record by the time they were back, and if she did, they he could get access to it. For the many things hospitals were known for, ironclad internet security wasn't one of them, and that meant he was confident that he could check up on her.

Theresa Sparks and Frederick Flynn

Location: Quinjet
Skills: N/A

"Just calm down already Blake," Flynn said to him with a bit of an eye roll. Of course, he could understand where Raynor was coming from with this sort of explosion, but they didn't have time for this. After all, they had a few more pressing issues to deal with besides whether or not they should kill Oliver. "We need to hurry up and do this already so we can help everyone, since otherwise, either Thanos will start murdering people more then he already has, or a lot of people on Earth are going to die from M-Pox. So anyone got any bright ideas as to what we should do?"

His thoughts wandered to wherever Bonnie and Cass had been sent off too. He hoped that at the least, Cass would be able to get stabilized as opposed to getting worse. Flynn knew that if anyone would be able to help her, it would be Bonnie, she wouldn't just let Cass die without a major fight. Though, he wasn't too sure what exactly she could do to help her, but he knew that the two of them were close, and he considered Cass to be his friend, so he hoped that at the least they'd be able to slow the disease enough to actually find a cure.

Sparky let out a bit of a sigh at Raynor's freak out, since he sounded like he was more of in the mind set of continuing to argue with her about being on the mission still. To say the least that she was a bit annoyed by that was a bit of an understatement. "...Why do you think the Quantum Realm would have anything to do with it? And why would you want to call in Dr. Banner? Since last I checked his specialty was more of nuclear physics," Sparky asked him, clearly a little bit confused by that.

Her attention then turned to what Maria said to her, and she thought for a moment about what to say. Sure, she knew that odds were that she could potentially die from M-Pox, but she wasn't all too sure about whether or not she'd want to tell Novikova that. Especially since she wasn't all too sure how Novikova would react to that sort of thing. That one of her best friends might die. No, she would prefer not to tell Novikova about that yet. "...Actually, not right now, there will be time to talk to her later, okay?" Sparky said with a slight smile towards Maria.

Cardiff, Wales: February 14th, 2021 - 4:30 P.M.

Raynor Blake

Location: the Quinjet
Skills: Small Aircraft Piloting

Raynor waited for Tinley to answer Matt's question and inform him of the plan, but nothing happened. Cass wasn't there at the moment either, due to her condition, meaning that Tinley's second wasn't able to propose a plan. He didn't want to be the leader in this situation. The last time he led a team... Raynor shoved the memories back. He didn't want to think about his time working for Erik and Charles - his time leading a team based out of Genosha on his world. He had been lucky to escape without S.W.O.R.D. capturing him. "We find Thane, we find the Black Order. We either kill the Black Order or throw them in the Raft, whichever is easiest, and then put Thane into S.H.I.E.L.D. custody. Director Hill can decide whether to launch his inhuman ass into space or protect them from Thanos," Raynor said.

It wasn't a particularly elegant plan, but it was the only one anyone had suggested. They needed to stop the Black Order. If they were dead, they were stopped - and if killing made people's stomachs churn, then they could just imprison them forever under the ocean. That worked too. If Raynor had his way, he would definitely then blast Thane off into space, but he also figured his coworkers wouldn't like that idea - they'd probably rather the kid be protected from his father and whatever doomsday prophecy.

As they reentered orbit, Raynor grit his teeth slightly. "We were exposed to a lot of radiation in the Quantum Realm - it might have impacted your physiology, caused you to mutate," he explained, hating even thinking about this. "Pym and Banner are experts on the influence of radiation on the body and the Quantum Realm."

The landing was hardly smooth. It was rough and fast, the entire quinjet shaking rapidly and throwing anyone around who wasn't properly secured. Raynor had ended up landing them in the grounds of Cardiff Castle - and by some stroke of luck, the tourist attraction was closed that day. He switched on the camouflage for the jet and turned all of the systems off, turning around to stare dead on at Oliver. "I dare you to open that damn door without letting everyone get suited up."

Bonnie Chase

Location: the Mirror Dimension
Skills: N/A

"Forgive me, I don't mean that she has any hidden powers or anything of the sort," Strange explained to Cass. "Yet not every human would have been able to provide you with an adequate amount of life force and live... Much less be selfless enough to do it. That is all I meant by it." His gaze then wandered back over to Bonnie. She was more than certain that she didn't have any special abilities - she wasn't a mutant, she wasn't inhuman, she was just Bonnie - yet there was something about what Strange said that left a little bit of niggling doubt in her mind. The Sorcerer Supreme hadn't been born with powers, right?

Bonnie crossed her arms, mulling over Cass' question. "I'd love to tell you to stay here - to keep you in a little bubble of safety until I can find a cure for you... but I also know you wouldn't be you if you didn't leave here instantly to go help others," she admitted. "You're stubborn and an ass, but you're also a hero... I'll support you in whatever you decide as a friend. But as a doctor, you one hundred percent should stay here and rest."

Strange then turned his attention to Cass again, chuckling with amusement at her question. "Isn't that what heroes do in theory - help those in need?" he asked rhetorically. "I make it my business to monitor threats to the Earth - from this dimension as well as others. When I detect the inhumans teleporting two SHIELD agents to a hospital in New York City, just hours after the Black Order attacked Attilan, I notice."

Bonnie bit her lip slightly. Strange at the very least confirmed what Crystal and Medusa had told them - that Attilan had been attacked by Thanos' soldiers. It was good news, since it meant they could at least trust the inhumans to be honest, yet horrible news for the fate of the planet. Strange only seemed to deal with world ending threats - the reality warping in House of M, the time traveling of Ultron... His presence here meant that they were all in grave danger - it almost guaranteed that not everyone was going to survive this, whether it be Thanos or the disease that ultimately culls the Earth. "Are you going to help us, Strange?" Bonnie asked bluntly. "Our team up on the moon has information - we can work together to put an end to this... And with your skills as a doctor, maybe we can find a cure too."

"I'm a surgeon," Strange corrected. "While my medicinal knowledge is vast, I hardly am qualified to make traditional cures - my expertise in that area lies in with magic. However, I will help you." He then moved his hands in complex patterns, casting a locator spell. "Your friends are in Cardiff. Shall we? Will you be coming as well, Agent Reed?"

Tinley Abercrombie and Tempest Renroir

Location: Quinjet
Skills: N/A

Tinley had been piecing together exactly what the plan was. She didn't want to fully admit she had no idea. They were approaching unknown territory. Not only that, but it was dangerous territory. They had dealt with things first, but given how large the destruction was to Attilan, they were about to enter something grand. They had to be careful, especially as Sparky was sick. She gave her the option to leave and she didn't take it. Not that Tinley expected her too. If she were in her shoes, she'd want to continue to fight.

Tempest sat next to Oliver, glancing at him as she worked on her computer. She didn't know his thoughts, but she hoped he realized that he had an ally in her, at least. He made a mistake, one he would probably punish himself for, if the others didn't get to him first. And even then, the guilt would be heavy. She hoped he would be able to make it right. He was smart and capable, an asset to SHIELD.

Once they landed, roughly, Tinley stood up and began to suit up, keeping a careful eye on Oliver. "I expect resistance so I want everyone to keep an eye out. We go in as quietly as we can and assess the situation. And if you feel the need to do any heroics, kindly remember my threat about shooting Oliver into space because that will go to anyone who decides to take things into their own hands. We're a team, we act like it."

Tempest began to suit up as well. She took her computer with her, in case she needed to hack anything, though she had mentally decided to allow Oliver the chance to do so if he wanted. As a means of proving himself to the team. Plus, she would most likely focus her energy on healing, if needed. She wanted to monitor Sparky and ensure the symptoms didn't progress or get worse. She took what Raynor said into consideration, making both mental and physical notes for use later.

Both were suited, waiting for the others, before they would exit.

Cassandra looked at Strange and nodded towards him for a moment, and listened to Bonnie her best friend's opinion mattered a lot more to her and Bonnie did risk her own life to save hers. She closed her eyes as she started to think for a moment, if she got exposed again it would be very lethal to her as Strange did say. But everyone else on the team were outside risking their own lives, and potentially exposing themselves as well if they got injured at all.

Strange confirming what Medusa and Crystal had said what had happened to Atilian was going to happen back down on Earth wasn't good either and they were most likely down on Earth right now for all she knew as well. She thought of something she did want to continue to fight, but Cass knew that if she over exerted herself again she would go back to how she was like back in the Throne Room back in Atilian looking at Strange. "If my health gets worse than it was back in Atilian could you send me back here? I'll continue to fight then and help the others, i'll stay close." Cass knew that she was going against Bonnie and Strange's suggestion, but she couldn't stand here helplessly while the others continued with the mission.

Maria Novikova

Location: Attilan, Quinjet
Skills: N/A

Maria looked at Theresa and nodded towards her and smiled a bit. "Alright then, just let me know and I can send a text or something." Maria offered, before making her way back towards her seat again and strapped herself down as tightly as she could, while Raynor flew the Quinjet through the atmosphere. She looked at Raynor for a moment and listened to him as he spoke they just needed to protect this Thane guy from Thanos and his men. "What if we send him back to Atilian he could be their problem to protect him once we find the guy?" Maria said, since they were so willing to sacrifice the mutant population, while empowering their own people.

Maria gripped the sides of her seat, she did wish that Novikova was still with them and wanted to be there for her as well she wasn't sure if Novi had been exposed yet or not she couldn't help but be worried about her wife. They eventually landed and Maria stood up dusting herself off, and grabbed her bow and quiver of arrows again, making sure that her suit was still sealed up tightly. Looking at Raynor again and making another jab at Oliver letting out a slight sigh. "Give him a break, he fucked up we all know it give him a chance to redeem himself at least." Maria said, sure she was still really pissed off at him for his reckless move but he could still fix what he did wrong when Tinley spoke up and nodded towards her. "Hows the air outside anyway?" Maria asked Raynor who was closest to the controls within the cockpit.

Matt secured himself while Raynor finally took off. The guy had a major chip on his shoulder. Matt got it. He did. Raynor loved Sparky there was no doubt about that, and Matt wanted to punch Oliver too. He'd wait though. Wait until their lives weren't dependent on them getting through a mission. You didn't in-fight while on a mission. You could fight all you wanted afterward though.

Matt hadn't even bothered to take off his suit. He didn't see a reason to. He would just have to put it back on when they got back to Earth. So he waited for the others to suit up. He looked to Tinley while she spoke and nodded. "What do we know about this kid Thane was it? His age? What he looks like? We can't exactly go shouting for him to come out, can we? I gotta say I do like Maria's idea of just sending him back to Atilian."

He looked through the cockpit window from his vantage point at the castle. He had never been here before, but he had grown up in London. And most of his traveling had been with the SBS, so most of his time had been abroad in counter-terrorism units.

Flynn glanced over at Raynor as the Asgardian of all people decided to come up with a plan and spoke up about what to do once they landed. He had expected Tinley to say a plan, after all she was supposedly the leader of the team. The fact that she didn't ensured that he still didn't care much for her leadership and gave him one more reason why he shouldn't listen to her all the time. This was getting to be more then a little bit ridiculous in his mind. If you are the leader, then lead the team, don't just make a few comments and then go off to the sidelines or something.

"I mean... I guess if you put it that way..." Sparky muttered under her breath, looking over at Raynor, and she nodded her head slightly towards Maria for a moment to acknowledge her words. She understood why he was panicking like that, but he was freaking out about this way more then she was. Sure, she had somewhat come to terms with how bad things were from M-Pox, and how bad things could be for her, that's why she had waited a little bit to tell him. However, he really needed to calm down regarding all of this, there wasn't any use worrying about it, since they couldn't do anything about it at all.

"Just going to say this now, that isn't much of a plan. Like at all," he commented as he looked around at the group. He was already to go, it didn't make sense for anyone to have taken off their special suits or whatever in the short jump. Though at least in his mind, Raynor was being way more helpful than Tinley was at the moment. At least Raynor gave somewhat a solution, while Tinley was just saying Lay low, don't do anything stupid! Honestly, it was like she was patronizing everyone.

Thinking for a moment at Matt's words, Sparky thought back to what Crystal had said about the attack on Attilan. "Based on what we were told, I'm guessing he's between the ages of 26 and 30, since according to what Crystal said, that is the age group in particular that the Black Order was after... And we know he's obviously a man. It's not much, but at the very least that gives us a starting point. We can see what we can find out based on that information, since for the moment, it is all we have regarding who Thane is..."

As they entered the atmosphere, Oli started working on actually being useful. He thought that, perhaps, SHIELD had run into this Thanos person before, and that they might know something of him. Unfortunately, as he searched and searched, nothing came up. It seemed that whoever this person was, they were an unknown quantity. The only other reasonable thing he could think to check, would be to try to find anybody who'd actually undergone Terrigenesis in Cardiff. Looking through local news, he saw that a young man by the name of Stephen Watts certainly had.

Feeling tense, he started digging into the man's life, trying to see if this could be their suspect. The man seemed to have a Facebook page, and he frowned as he saw that he was outside of their target age range. "God damn it." He muttered under his breath. This was like searching for a needle in a haystack. There was only one thing left to check that he could possibly think of, to start looking for UFO sightings. If Thane was an alien, that meant he had to have arrived on Earth at some point. Logging back into the SHIELD databases, he started searching, and finally came upon something useful. There'd been a crash in 1992, Halloween, two people were on it, one DOA, the other got carted off to University Hospital of Wales. That sat oddly with him, as that was the same date he was born, and the same hospital he was born in. Frowning, he closed his laptop at they landed, and got suited up. Ignoring Raynor's comments, trying to keep things as professional as possible for the moment, he waited next to Tempest and said, "When you get a chance, can you check records for the University Hospital of Wales, Halloween 1992? SHIELD records indicate a UFO crash happened back then, and apparently one of the occupants were sent there. The time and date make sense for Thane, this seems like the best lead we have." He'd do it himself, but he figured getting another set of eyes of the problem would be good, and keeping the general team apprised of the situation seemed like a good thing.

Bonnie Chase

Location: the Mirror Dimension -> Cardiff Castle
Skills: N/A

Strange forced a smile as he looked at Cassandra - it was admirable, her drive to continue to serve Earth even on her death bed. In his medical opinion, he didn't know if they would be able to perform the same procedure to save her again. Just like with giving blood, Bonnie could only give so much life force to Cass to alleviate her symptoms. "Of course," he lied.

"Let's go, then," Bonnie resolved, determined to stick by Cass and monitor her symptoms closely. She would gladly give her life for her friend if it came to it, but she sincerely hoped it wouldn't. She had to believe that they could cure M-Pox, stop Thanos and the Black Order, and save the world. If she let herself doubt for even a single second... No, she wasn't even going to consider that. She had to be strong, determined, confident. She had to be her best self.

"Ladies first," Strange then said courteously, opening up a sling ring portal to Cardiff Castle in Wales. He had done a quick tracking spell already to determine that was the best spot to arrive. Once Bonnie and Cass walked on through, he shut the portal behind them, leaving the Mirror Dimension.

Raynor Blake

Location: the Quinjet - Cardiff Castle
Skills: N/A

"Actually, I can't die if I'm shot into space," Raynor piped up, unable to keep himself from mentioning it. "You'd have to find some other way to kill me - even fatal wounding probably wouldn't work... My uncle survived in space for a week once with some nasty injuries." He did have to partially wonder how exactly Tinley would try to kill him if it came to it, but the distraction could only last so long before he was reminded of Sparky's disease. He needed to find a cure to save her before it was too late. And then after that... He was going to have to think of something more. If she didn't die from M-Pox, old age would take her in sixty to eighty years - a blink of an eye to an Asgardian.

He got his own suit and gear on, mostly in order to spite Oliver, as Raynor was fairly certain that his species was immune to the terrigen mists. "If Novikova had been the one Oliver gave M-Pox to, I doubt you'd be so fucking forgiving," he chastised Maria. She had been wanting to kill Oliver not that long ago, if his memory served him correctly. The sudden about face was annoying. He glanced at the monitor on the air quality. He inhaled sharply. "Seventy two percent terrigen saturation." That was bad - probably the worst on the planet.

He checked to make sure that everyone was securely suited up - and thankfully, they were. Raynor then disengaged the air lock and opened up the door to allow them to disembark the quinjet. At the bottom of the ramp were three familiar faces, with one of them seemingly random in Raynor's opinion. "Strange... What the hell are you doing here?"

"Saving the world, of course," he quipped with a smirk. Cass and Bonnie were by his side. "Do you have any leads?"

"Is everyone okay?" Bonnie asked, looking frantically over them all. "Cass is doing better... Not out of the woods, but better."

Cassandra Reed

Location: Kirby General Hospital - NYC, The Mirror Dimension -> - Cardiff Castle
Skills: N/A

Cass looked towards Bonnie and gave her friend a reassuring smile, every part of her body was still in a lot of pain, and she just wanted to lay down and rest. But she needed to do this, it was what she signed up with SHIELD for in the first place as well once Strange opened the portal Cass followed shortly behind Bonnie. She looked around the area, they were just outside of Cardiff Castle though she had never been here before she did see a lot of picture growing up as well. She turned her head towards where the Quinjet was when the hatch opened up and saw Raynor again.

"Strange helped relieve some of my symptoms, i'm feeling a bit better now. And he's offered to help with looking for Thane." Cass said, seeing the team there again and smiled towards them. "If you have any leads, I can stay in the Quinjet and coordinate with all of you and the local authorities finding Thane." Cassandra offered, it would be the safer option for her since the Quinjet had an airlock hatch she'd be safe in there.

Maria Novikova

Location: Quinjet - Cardiff Castle
Skills: N/A

Maria looked at Raynor and glared at him for a moment, but if Novi was still on the team yes she probably would have killed or really hurt Oliver for exposing her wife to the mists. "You are right, if things were different then I would kill him, or put him into a permanent coma. Though we all need to calm the fucking hell down and work together or the rest of us will all die." Maria said, a little more than annoyed with Raynor right now sure she did really hate Oliver for his dumbass move, she quickly got up from her seat and made sure that her suit was completely sealed shut again, making sure that she wouldn't get exposed.

Then Raynor opened the hatch to the Quinjet and Maria turned around and she could see three familiar faces, and smiled seeing Cass was there, looking better then she was back on the moon. But still she looked really bad and started to make her way over towards her and gave Cass a quick hug which she returned. When Bonnie asked if everyone was alright she looked mostly over towards Sparky, she wanted to say something. But it was ultimately Sparky's decision to tell Bonnie that she was exposed to the terrigen mists.

"Bonnie, Cass. Good to see you both." Matt grinned thankful they were there. It was a good sign. Cass looked like a wreck, but she was standing on her own. He glanced at Sparky, Matt was sure Raynor would be keeping a close eye on her so he wasn't worried about her collapsing as suddenly as Cass had. "Other than some threats to Oliver's well being, and Sparky starting to show symptoms."

Matt glanced at Doctor Strange. He knew who he was, though he had never met him personally. If Doctor Strange was involved the situation was...well strange. He wondered how much Bonnie and Cass had been able to brief him. "Have you been fully briefed, Doctor?" He asked him. Matt didn't feel like he himself had been fully briefed, but that seemed to be SHIELD. You went in with half as much information as was needed and hopped you finished the mission with more than half your team alive...or still working for you.

Tinley Abercrombie and Tempest Renroir

Location: Quinjet -> Cardiff Castle
Skills: Hacking (Tempest), Mentorship (Tinley)

Tempest nodded, hacking into her computer and searching for exactly what Oliver asked for. She found it, but the names were heavily redacted. It took a couple more minutes before she was able to pull four names for the four babies brought into the hospital. She read the names. Jane Doe, typical. Hope Winters, ok. And there it was. Thane di Angelo. "I found something. There were 65 infants in the nursery ward. 36 were male, 29 were female. One of these bouncing baby boys was you, Oliver. Records show that 61 of 65 infants were born in the hospital either that day or in the last few. Four of them were brought there. One was found abandoned in a Church, another placed on the hospital step, two retrieved by paramedics and brought there for care [neither of whom had living parents as far as records indicate]. The baby found abandoned in a Church was female, the hospital step baby was male, and the paramedic's babies were one girl and one boy. One of those names is Thane."

Tinley didn't know so much about what the nerds were doing, but she heard the name. "Hard to chalk that up as coincidence. Nice work Oliver." That didn't pardon him from anything, but it did put him in her good graces a smidge. She could sense Flynn wasn't too keen on her idea. "If you have a better plan, Flynn, I'm all for it. This wasn't part of the original plan. We are in unknown territory so excuse me for thinking on the fly. I'll come up with a better plan, just for you. Also save your retort for later, since I don't want to fucking hear it." She mentally flipped him the bird and launched his ass into space, before she calmed down. The others showed up, which was both comforting and odd. She nodded at them. "Nice to see you all again. Sorry about that. Perks of being a leader. Anywho..."

"Ok, new plan. We are splitting up. I want one team going after Thane himself. Secure him and we can figure out what to do with him. The other team targets the Black Order themselves since they will most likely try to stop us all if we all go after Thane. So they provide cover and a distraction. I want the distraction team to be Raynor, Tempest, Sparky (since I know Raynor won't want her separated), Maria, and Flynn. Thane's team will be me, Oliver, Casandra, Matt, Bonnie, and Doctor Strange. Distraction team should head in first and the other will follow suit. Watch each other's backs and we will do this."

Tempest listened and nodded in agreement. The team set-up made sense. Both teams had people to provide support, hacking, heavy-hitting, protection, and damage. Solid D&D situation. She grabbed Oliver's hand. "That was a good idea, Oliver. Stay safe." She let go and waited for her team to get situated and move in. She would provide support as best she can. She wasn't much of a fighter on the front lines, but she would do her best.

Theresa Sparks and Frederick Flynn

Location: Cardiff Castle
Skills: N/A

"Who the hell says I was talking to you? I could have been talking to Raynor for all you know. But now that you mention there are a few things that fucking bug me, like the fact that you ignored everyone asking for a plan when everyone did ask you about that, myself included, and of all people Raynor came up with one. But the plans you both came up with were essentially common sense stuff that literally everyone already knew, but Raynor's plan actually had more to it then yours and had an overall plan aside from just the typical, Oh yeah, don't do anything stupid! Like we didn't know that. Not to mention, you think you are a great leader, then why don't you try and prove it? Since most of everything you've done has been crap. You aren't a leader, and never will be, so how about you stop pretending to be one!"

To say that Flynn was pissed off was a bit of an understatement. The fact that Tinley was essentially patronizing him over his somewhat sarcastic comments and his legitimate comment regarding the plan not being the best. Her acting like she was all high and mighty, better then him and knew everything annoyed him, and right now, he couldn't care less if she ended up dead when this was all said and done. "You really need to learn to shut up, and acting like you are better then everyone else before telling a different plan is not the way to get someone to fucking listen to you, ever." With those last words he more or less moved away from Tinley, wanting to have nothing to do with the bitch, and he ignored whatever plan that she started talking. "Hi Bonnie," he said to her, but it was more or less strained, since he was clearly trying to stop himself from carrying his anger over and directing it towards her.

Sparky wasn't too sure what to think about the whole thing with Flynn essentially going off on Tinley, but she stood next to Raynor still, figuring he probably wouldn't let her out of his sight. "Maybe people should just calm down a little bit..." she muttered somewhat, knowing that now of all times was not a good place to be sitting there getting pissed off or angry at anyone. That was just going to make things worse, but she seriously doubted anyone would listen to her regarding it.

She wasn't too thrilled that Matt had decided to mention that she had M-Pox. She hadn't even technically told anyone else, but they were able to tell from Raynor's reaction to her telling him. That wasn't something she had been planning on mentioning, since it wasn't that bad and she felt like it didn't really matter right now. Everyone around might worry about her and whatever, because of it. Sparky looked over at Bonnie giving her a slight wave, "Hey there Bonnie, glad to see you and Cass, and glad that Cass seems to be doing better."

Oliver Sullivan

Location:Quinjet
Skills: Hacking, Computers

Oliver looked at Tempest, on one hand happy that she found Thane, on the other hand unable to believe she didn't provide a last name. Deciding to take matters into his own hands, he tried to get into the hospital records on his own and find them, but was unable to get any concretre information without knowing Thane's last name. "Was there uh, any kind of surname in those records?" Oliver asked Tempest, hoping that would lead him to being able to get them some kind of information on how to track down the man. Unrelated, however, he gave a nervous, awkward look towards Cass, happy to see she'd joined them, but unable to bring himself to say anything to her, still ashamed of his actions.

As they waited for things to get a move on, he tried to make further use of himself for the other team, see if he could find anything that could point him towards "The Black Order." He figured that, if they were here, somebody might have seen them enter, but it seemed the Twitterverse was much more interested in talking about The God of Thunder's rock hard abs, and how fuckable that made him. That was depressing on several levels, even if he couldn't strictly speaking disagree with them. Awkwardly shirking back after Flynn's outburst towards Tinley, he supposed now wasn't the best time to tell them all he had jack shit.
