Evie chuckled at his answer before grabbing the soda he offered as well as the other plates, following out to the table. She placed the plates down before talking a seat. Sam gave Bobby a little nod before heading to the table and sitting down. He blinked in surprise as Evie slid a plate over to him. "I didn't know what you wanted, so I hope a BLT is okay." She said with a shy smile.

Sam couldn't help but give her a smile back, telling her it was just fine before taking a bite. The night was filled with chattering and laughter as the four conversated with each other, telling stories of hunts they went on.

Dean smiled when he brother looked surprised to see that Evie had made him a sandwich. It was good moment to see while having taken a bite of his. It was nice to see that the day ended on a good note. Bobby was happy to see the girl smile around them and have a moment where she was apart of a family.

As the chatter had happened while they ate and had a good time, it wasn't till Dean saw the clock from where he sat and saw what the time was. "Come on Evie. It's late." Dean told her. She was still a kid and 14 at that. She still needed a somewhat decent bed time schedule despite what their hectic life maybe.

Bobby stood as he looked to the girl. "Come on kiddo, let me show you to your room."

Evie glanced at the time, blinking in surprise at how late it was. Had they been talking that long already? She got up, giving Dean a quick hug goodnight before giving Sam one as well who reacted akin to when Cas got his first hug. She smiled at them before following Bobby to the room she'd be staying in. She thanked him, giving him a hug as well before getting ready for bed.

Sam was still stunned by the hug before clearing his throat and standing up, grabbing the plates to clear the table. "So, what now?" He asked Dean and Bobby once he returned.

Dean gave the girl a hug though surprised about it. He had to admit that Sam's face was more priceless than his would have been. Bobby showed Evie to one of the spare bedrooms of which he hugged the room, happy to know she was comfortable with them. When Bobby left to go back into the kitchen, Dean rubbed a hand through his hair as he leaned forward in the chair a little and resting his arms on the table. "Well, look for Crowley, make sure he tells us how to get your soul back while starting Evie easy. Maybe how to do the research and how to keep the weapons in working order." Dean replies.

"Not a bad start. Honestly it wouldnt hurt to slowly introduce her to learning how to use those weapons and combat." Bobby advised.

Sam was still stunned by the hug before clearing his throat and standing up, grabbing the plates to clear the table. "So, what now?" He asked Dean and Bobby once he returned.

"She knows how to kick, that's for sure." Sam said as he sat across from his brother, remembering how Evie had literally brought him to his knees. "Maybe start off easy with the weapons, like knives. I'm not sure how well she'll handle a gun without accidentally shooting herself or us." He added.

While he was sure she'd learn quickly he wasn't too sure about giving a fourteen year old a gun, even if it was for defense or taking something paranormal down. A knife was definitely easier to learn and conceal.

Dean tried to hide his snicker and was somewhat successful with Bobby was a bit confused with what Sam was talking about. "Evie kicked him in the nuts when we first met her. She's made a lasting impression so far." Dean explained with a little bit of amusement to his voice. Bobby nodded, having to admit it was slightly amusing but the cleared his throat. "I think learning how to use a knife would be a good starting idea." Bobby agreed.

"It's not funny, Dean." Sam said bluntly, glaring at him a bit. He remembered what Bobby said about his temper and backed down though he still wanted to wipe off the smirk off his brother's face. "It's settled, we'll start her on knife training tomorrow." He said before getting up and walking off. Being soulless he didn't really have the need to sleep or rest but he wasn't going to tell Dean that. It was already weird when Cas did it.

In the middle of the night Evie woke with a start, panting heavily from the nightmare she pulled herself out of. Feeling alone and vulnerable, she got out of bed the floorboards cold beneath her feet. She carefully padded out of her room into the hallway, searching for Dean's room. She came across Bobby's and left him to sleep, not knowing how he'd react to being woken up. She eventually found Dean, walking over to him. "Dean?" She asked softly, gently shaking his shoulder.

Dean had to admit that he felt bad a little but he knew Sam would have done the same in his misery. When Sam walked off, Dean bid Bobby goodnight and went to bed.

Dean was on his side facing the room as he felt a small hand on his shoulder shaking him. With a groan, Dean woke up to see Evie in his room. Groggly confused, he lifted his head a little and blinked some to be a bit more coherent. "Evie?....what's wrong?" He asks her, some concern in his voice.

"I...I can't sleep. I keep having nightmares." Evie replied, feeling like a child despite being fourteen. She hated that she felt this way but she couldn't have hidden it long before they noticed something was off. She bit her lower lip before speaking again.

"Is it okay if I stay with you for the rest of the night?" She asked, understanding if he said no. Again, she wasn't a child anymore, almost an adult. But she still wanted comfort.

Now it made sense to Dean what was going on despite his tired mind. She was still a kid, not having gotten the simple pleasures of being one since her parents were killed. She needed someone, a brother figure to help her. "Come on kiddo." He scoots over with his back against the wall so she could come lay down. Once on the bed and comfortable, Dean puts the blanket over her, letting her have the blanket. He had slipped his arm under the pillow so he too was more comfortable. "Goodnight Evie..." He said with a yawn.

Evie blinked in surprise when Dean moved over so she could lay down beside him. She gave him a little smile before crawling onto the bed. She curled the blanket around her but made sure to leave some for Dean in case he got cold. "Night, Dean." She mumbled as sleep welcomed her once more.

In the morning Sam found Evie curled up close to Dean fast asleep, an arm loosely draped over his abdomen as if hugging him. He figured something must have happened during the night for her to be in this predicament but ignored it when he knocked on the doorway to wake them.

Within the morning, Dean woke up to the knock on the door, rubbing his eyes to get a good look to see Sam. Feeling a pressure on his side and abdomen, looking down to see Evie there and asleep. It then clicked on what happen and looked to his brother. He mouthed the word 'Nightmare' to Sam, knowing that whatever confusion he would have had could have been answered now.

He figured Sam would have understood in seeing this considering the few time he and Sam had done this as kids. That he wasn't going to do what their father did in order to try and face their fears. He hoped that Evie would be able to face her nightmares and be able to ake them go away. He honestly wanted to try and see if a dream catcher actually worked and see if she would be able to have better dreams. But for now that would habe to wait till later. He looked down at Evie's peaceful form, having to choose by waking her up so he too could get up. "Evie. Evie wake up kiddo." Having moved her arm gently and shaking her shoulder.

"Hmm?" Evie asked groggily as she awoke, hazel eyes a little unfocused as she came out of sleep. She let out a yawn before feeling a soft rise and fall under her arm. It was then she remembered what happened in the night before sitting up, her hair a lovely bedhead mess. She blinked a few times upon seeing Sam before mumbling a good morning.

Sam nodded in understanding at Dean before Evie woke up. He gave her a little wave before addressing them both. "Breakfast is ready downstairs, come down when you're ready to." He said before leaving. Evie, now more awake, glanced over at the older Winchester. "Thanks for letting me stay."

Dean gave a thrumbs up to his brother when he mentioned breakfast. He had waited for Evie to get up before sitting up on the bed. "Don't mention it. I did it for Sam when he was little. Nightmares are no fun, he and I would know. If you want we can try to see if a dream catcher will work or something like that." Dean suggested. "For now, go get ready. We got a busy day and your going to be starting your hunter training." Dean explained.

"A dreamcatcher might work." Evie said before getting up and stretching. She looked at Dean when he mentioned training. "Already?" She asked, blinking in surprise. She was all for training, she just didn't expect it to happen so soon. "What kind of training? Hands on? Self defense? Identifying the monster?" She asked, naturally curious as she walked out of the room.

"Sooner the better. Go get dressed and ready for breakfast and we'll talk about it after." The older Winchester told her. He shut his door and got changed, heading to the bathroom to do his usual morning ritual before going down to the kitchen. He saw Bobby sitting at the table with a cup of coffee of which he thought was a good idea to get a mug of. After getting a mug he sat down across from Sam.

Evie nodded before heading to her room to change. She soon joined the others, sitting next to Bobby before starting to eat. "How long have you been a hunter, Bobby?" She asked between bites, a little curious. It was a question she hadn't asked last night when they first met, so she figured it was the right time to ask.

She knew the brothers had been hunting since they could learn how to shoot a gun at least; even then that was younger than her. It made her wonder if she had it easier than them since she didn't start until four years ago.

When asked about his years of being in the hunting business, Bobby looked thoughtful as he ate. "Eighteen years I believe. I mainly help other hunters find cases that lead to being supernatural or look up anything unusual that I too wouldn't know. I rarely go on hunts anymore." He then leans over abit toward Evie. "Getting old sucks. Don't get older." He whispers with a wink.

"No promises." Evie giggled in reply, smiling at the older hunter. She liked this new family of hers, feeling safe and a little normal for once. They looked passed her family name and only saw who she really was. It was nice for a change.

Once finished with breakfast, she helped with dishes before heading outside with the three of them. She was still curious as to what training they'd be teaching her. She took a step back when Sam produced a knife, handing it over to Dean. What was going on?

They all went to the back where all the junk cars were kept to be used for scrap and spare part. When Dean was presented a knife by Sam, the older's brows frowned before sighing. Guess he was doing this when it was Sam's idea. Taking the knife, Dean looked to Evie to see that she had backed up. "This is where we start that training we were talking about Evie. You're starting out with how to use a knife. Daggers work just as good. Angels and demons are well known for carrying something similar. You'll be able to disarm them and maybe even use it against them." Dean explained to her.

"We'll start with learning how to disarm and many different ways. We'll work through the movements before then working through the movements more faster as we go. Make it second nature." Bobby explained. "They both will show you a demonstration then Sam with instruct you through it."
