Her hair is worn down unless she's practicing her trade skill, and then her hair is worn up and out of her eyes. She often has her head in the clouds- lost in her own world as she dreams about her steam powered inventions that she makes while under the tutelage of a master craftsman that immigrated from An'elle when he married his wife. She's got a knack for tinkering, and even if something fails, she always takes it as a lesson to learn from. Even failed inventions are seen as a success in learning to her. One of her dreams is to create a transportation system that spans the 7 unified kingdoms- should Hua'mu ever open their borders to outsiders. She often speaks in a soft, low register of her voice which does raise a few octaves if she's truly excited about something. Her build is svelte and betrays the true amount of muscle that she does have as her slender build might not suggest she's able to lift and carry heavy objects without help. Her hands are rough and calloused and betray her artisan skills rather than her royal lineage. ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ | s k í l l s & w є α k n є s s є s ▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔ + Work with her hands + Creative/Inventive mind + Tinkering with objects/inventing things to help with everyday life - Sitting still is not her strongest suit - Following orders Especially if her father was the one to give said orders. - Being proper She hates the idea of being the "proper" princess that everyone wants her to be. p r є f є r є n c є s ▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔ + Building gadgets that improve people's lives + Stirring the pot + Iced coffee particularly lattes + Sharing secrets with Willa - Broken/Useless tools - Vegetables - Losing her agency to please others (namely their father) - Her parents and older siblings She sees her father as a neglectful parent, and she views her mother as weak willed for giving in to the king and going along with his plans. Given the chance, she can and will make herself sick from eating it. ➽➽➽ She refuses to eat green vegetables at all, but if vegetables make up the majority of the meal, she will respectfully decline to eat it. ➽➽➽ She has daily night-terrors where she wakes up screaming and drenched in a cold sweat from the abuse she suffered as a child from the maid that was tasked to watch over her. The same maid that allowed the original princess to drown. ➽➽➽ It is not common knowledge to anyone but Hanne and the maid that she does not truly have royal blood. ➽➽➽ She likes to play pranks on those around her- especially the lesser nobles and her siblings. ➽➽➽ Hanne is terrified of the dark. Though for her, it's less about the dark, and more about what might be in the dark that she cannot see. ➽➽➽ She loves having her hair played with or brushed. Hanne herself loves being touched and given affection by those close to her. She will not hesitate to give Willa or her other friends any PDA if she feels it necessary. в í σ g r α p h ч ▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔ On the outside looking in, Hanne seems to be the perfect replication of the Guo Dynasty's genetics. Her mother- the queen- and her father- the king- of Estrye were known for making beautiful and talented offspring. She followed after her brother Alois and her sister Cyrus- forever to be lost in the shadow of their greatness as she was the third-born and amounted to very little in the eyes of their father who only sought to procreate and have as many children as he could with his wives and concubines. To make up for the lack of attention as she grew up, Hanne became a trouble maker; she enjoyed stirring the pot and causing fights amongst her siblings as she sat back and watched it all unfold. However, appearances can be deceiving, and Hanne's story is not so picturesque and clear-cut. As a toddler, her older siblings ignored her, and so her only friend was the maid that was ordered to look after her. The maid took her eyes off of the adventurous babe for but a moment, and the beautiful child had fallen into a pond of water and drowned. To make up for her grievous mistake that she would undoubtedly be put to death for, she paid a beggar woman for her child who was very similar to build and appearance of the toddler she had been caring for. The only problem was, this child was a boy rather than a girl. The maid forced the boy to appear as the dead princess- telling them never to speak of their past or something terrible would happen to them. The king and queen never paid attention to many of their children, and so the death of their real child never came to light. Rather than face the wrath of their caretaker, the child kept their mouth shut and their head down. They assumed Hanne's identity and fell into it easily. She didn't mind being referred to as a woman, and actually preferred it over being forced to be masculine. Though, she grew envious of her "older siblings" as she saw that they seemed to look down at the rest of them who had to work harder for everything they had. As angry as it made her, she only strove to work harder to make an impact and potentially gain their father's attention and love. She detests Alois and Cyrus for acting like they're better and for living their lives with silver spoons in their mouths. She apprenticed under an inventor that had immigrated from An'elle after he married the woman that he fell in love with. She was a lesser noble born in the Empire of Hua'mu. The two of them taught Hanne all the tools of the trade that she needed to know, and instilled a love of tinkering that she hadn't known that existed within her before. The girl became one of the best inventors- believing even a failure is a learning experience. Her father grew tired of her wild antics around five years ago, and forced upon her a lady in waiting in hopes that it would quiet the wildness within her. Though it was not to be as Hanne often convinced Willa to go along with her crazy schemes- getting them both into hot water. She's come to see Willa as her best friend and confidant as she believes that she can tell the blueberry girl anything and everything that she needs to say. The past trauma from her days as a toddler has come back in full force as nightmares and night-terrors, but she's not said anything for fear of worrying Willa. “I think Minagi is a beautiful princess. Her ambition and passion for her people is enviable. Our families are close I know that much, but as I've only met her in passing, I've no strong feelings one way or the other about her.” Level of Friendship Level of Attraction Level of Romance Level of Distrust “I haven't had much interaction with the youngest princess. She seems so quiet these days that I'm not sure she would say much to me even if I did try to talk to her.” Level of Friendship Level of Attraction Level of Romance Level of Distrust “He and his sister are lesser nobles of Hua'mu. I've heard some rumors and whispers on the lips of the nobles of the Empire, but who's to say that they're true or not?” Level of Friendship Level of Attraction Level of Romance Level of Distrust “Just like her brother, I'm not familiar with her either.” Level of Friendship Level of Attraction Level of Romance Level of Distrust “The royal guard of Princess Minagi. He's so pretty, but oh so intimidating. He never seems to leave her side. It seems so suffocating to me.” Level of Friendship Level of Attraction Level of Romance Level of Distrust “Hua'mu seems to be full of pretty boys. Too bad this one comes at the price of thinking he's better than you with a side of bad attitude. Other than his bad qualities, he seems genuinely eager to help anyone who's looking for books or information.” Level of Friendship Level of Attraction Level of Romance Level of Distrust “Can't say I'm too fond of any nobles from An'elle, but I shouldn't judge a book by its cover. Especially since I don't know her personally.” Level of Friendship Level of Attraction Level of Romance Level of Distrust “My brother would never say it, but he thinks me an insufferable child who is always in his way. He and Cyrus have never had time for the rest of us, and we might as well be the dirt on the bottom of his boots. They were trained and chosen for greatness, and the rest of us have to struggle just to have any potential claim to the throne. I hate to think myself better than anyone, but I've had to work twice as hard to be noticed for my accomplishments while Alois is fed with a silver spoon. We may seem cordial as siblings, but I'm only biding my time before I can ruin his reputation. I do love him as my brother, but if I had a glass of water, and he was on fire, I'd rather drink the water.” Level of Friendship Level of Attraction Level of Romance Level of Distrust “The 'Golden Child'. The one who will succeed our father when he dies or gives up his throne. Cyrus and I both have the same mother, so I've just as every right to the throne as she does, but our father is stuck in his ways and believes women have no claim to rule. He's groomed Cyrus to be exactly what he wants her to be- the male heir he doesn't have. The poor girl is so brainwashed into thinking she has no choice but to give in to father's demands. As jealous as I am of her, I don't envy her sacrifice.” Level of Friendship Level of Attraction Level of Romance Level of Distrust “Willa is my truest friend. Truth be told, when I met her, I disliked her, but the girl has grown to be the person that I can trust the most. I tell her most things that go through my head. She's always my second in command when it comes to all my crazy schemes. She doesn't like when I get her into trouble, but she's never complained or stopped me from doing something. I would be devastated if Willa were to ever leave my side.” Level of Friendship Level of Attraction Level of Romance Level of Distrust “She's a princess from an up and coming colony. I don't know much about her or her people. Even the extensive library in Hua'mu has nothing about the isles.” Level of Friendship Level of Attraction Level of Romance Level of Distrust “I don't know anything about her or her people, but holy shit is she tall!” Level of Friendship Level of Attraction Level of Romance Level of Distrust “Chief Meat Grandpa doesn't impress me. I'm not a dainty princess who needs saving by some strong barbarian man. I'm sorry, Sir, your princess is in another castle.” Level of Friendship Level of Attraction Level of Romance Level of Distrust “He's so pretty, but I'm not fond of vegetables.” Level of Friendship Level of Attraction Level of Romance Level of Distrust “Another pretty vegetable boy. What a shame.” Level of Friendship Level of Attraction Level of Romance Level of Distrust |

B I O G R A P H Y Reya grew up with what she believed to be an average life. Born as a middle child, the only female, to a family of merchants. Her father would spend much of his time away in search of rare gemstones to bring back to her mother who would then turn the gemstones into beautiful jewelry. For many years this was the main source of their income. Her mother worked diligently while their father was away and much of the parenting would end up falling onto her eldest siblings shoulders. Over time Reya would learn to help her mother in creating and selling jewelry while the boys would get to spend time away on adventures with their father. Reya became increasingly envious of this year after year. Unfortunately, due to Reya being the only female child, her mother sheltered her from any sort of danger, much to Reya's dismay. Having grown up with two brothers, Reya was a tomboy at heart and she wanted to play like one of the boys; do what the boys were allowed to do. Nonetheless, her mother forbid anything of the sort. When gemstones became harder to come by, Reya's mother began to train Reya on a new form of income; fortune telling. At their merchant stall, Reya was expected to play the part of a seer for weary travelers to get their fortune told and convince them that it was true. This new lot in life was placed upon her due to a certain allure Reya had about her. A certain aura that most people felt when they were around her which her mother explained as her bloodline brilliantly showing through; the aphrodisiac pomegranate. Reya easily fell into this role, getting better with each traveler. At her core, she just wanted to make her family happy and proud. Sadly that could never be; Reya had become a source of tension between her parents. As she grew in age, Reya looked less and less like her father or her brothers. She had traits that no one could explain, like her blue eyes. Her father began to doubt her mother's faithfulness, often interrogating her upon his return from one of his "business trips." Her mother had always swore that Reya was his child no matter how many explosive arguments they got in. Reya believed her, though her fathers doubt hurt. The rift between them only got wider as Reya grew older and her father became colder, more distant. It was as if he knew something that she did not. Six months ago her entire life got turned upside down. Her mother had boasted to her about the Chieftain wanting to meet with them. It was supposed to be so that he could buy their goods, as he was clearly impressed with their families work. Reya was ecstatic. The Chieftain giving attention to their little family business would bring in so many new customers! Her family wouldn't have to ration so much once that happened! It was all a lie. The goods, it turned out, was Reya. As her mother and the chieftain spoke, Reya learned about her true past. She was not her fathers child, but instead the child of someone her mother had met in the kingdom of An'ell. One of their enemies. She was a hybrid bloodline of Pomegranate and Chocolate. Two aphrodisiacs, her mother made sure to note to the chieftain who was looking for a new wife to bear him many children. Reya couldn't believe what she was hearing. Times were hard, but how could her mother be offering up her daughters life as if she meant nothing? Was this the plan from the moment she was conceived? Reya had frozen in panic, unable to say anything as she tried to process what was happening. Before she could even react, her mother accepted the Chieftains large sum of money in exchange for Reya becoming his new wife; his property. That was the last day she has seen any of her family members. It was a difficult transition to live with the chieftain; she spent many nights sobbing to herself. Today, she is still rather uncomfortable in the chieftains household but she plays the role as well as she can for her own safety. When the opportunity of a masquerade ball came around Reya sprung into action and offered to escort the Chieftains children to the ball. Luckily for her, he accepted. Perhaps he wouldn't have if she hadn't played the wife role so well. | __________________________________________ |
