Name
William “Will” Morgan

Age
17

Place of Residence
218 Turner Street

Personality Traits

Horror Aficionado: Will has a nearly encyclopedic knowledge on horror films, horror novels and horror comics. He can tell you the difference between a sasquatch and a yeti, and how the loch ness monster is just a plesiosaur.

Reserved: Being the monster kid doesn’t really get you invited to a lot of parties. Due to his lonesome nature (who wouldn’t completely recede inside themselves when their best friend and big sister kills herself?), Will is quiet. That comes with perks though; he’s unassuming and easily forgettable. That’s...useful in some things, right?

Awkward: Being the loner kid most of your life doesn’t prepare you for talking to others, especially those of the opposite sex. Will’s better off stuttering or muttering about vampires than actually talking.

Obsessive: The death of Sarah (his sister) has been weighing on him for ten years. The fact that he recently uncovered a diary of hers with entries talking about some similarly weird things happening now has set him on a one-track path to uncover what’s going on, and he’s willing to sacrifice everything to learn the truth.

Family History/Backstory

William Morgan was born in Doc Sparrow Memorial Hospital, October 23rd, 2003 to Eugene and Kathleen Morgan. His older sister Sarah was extremely close to him, even though she was nine years older than he was. Sarah’s obsession with old school horror quickly drew her brother in, and the two bonded over that. On July 15, 2010, Sarah was found dead in Cider Park, alongside six other teenagers. It was ruled a suicide. Will changed after then, becoming sullen, distant, and ultimately disconnected with most of the world.

The Morgan household also changed. Eugene seemed to distance himself by delving into work at the local hardware store that he managed, and Kathleen began doing extra work with the local Presbyterian Church. The house became cold and empty. Will’s life became horror movie reruns, school work, and the occasional video game.

Then summer came. A chance to visit his aunt and uncle in Portland died quickly after they told him that the virus was still contagious in the city. An attempted trip to a horror convention in Bangor also died. He seemed stuck in town. Then he found the journal.

Other Info
Will technically has a driver’s license, but since he has to borrow the family’s Ford Fusion to get around (and since his dad has been working extra shifts) his normal method of transportation is an old Schwinn bicycle.

Will does not have a summer job and spends a lot of his time at the library, finding his house stifling, especially when his mother has church friends visiting.

Name
Abigail “Abbie” Prescott

Age
17

Place of Residence
166 Everbrook Circle

Personality Traits
The Prescott’s are known for being fiscally responsible, intelligent, upstanding citizens of Everbrook. Abbie Prescott is an anomaly if one would expect such things from the daughter of James Prescott and Laura Lee Sparrow.

Abigail isn’t the greatest of students, not particularly book smart, nor is she particularly the model daughter of such a family. The only thing in common she holds with her father’s family is being fiscally responsible, though she sort of has to be considering the fact that she is not allowed great privilege despite being from a prestigious family. She has no credit card, no allowance, and is expected to be “self-determined”; to earn everything that she wants. It’s easy to be fiscally responsible when you are the only girl on Everbrook Circle without expendable income. In fact, the only thing she has is a car and that was only because her Sweet Sixteen allowed her to finally get one. She didn’t even think she was getting one until her mother put the keys in her hand.

She hates it. She hates all of it. But it’s life.

Speaking of her manners, Abbie isn’t exactly mean, but she does channel her frustrations in a less than tactful manner. She’s sarcastic, often at other’s expenses. She thinks she has it just as bad as kids from Courtland Street, even if it’s not exactly comparable. She’s rather self-centered and when she gets mad she seems to make everything out to be much worse than it is. Her own cousin, Samuel, thinks she’s full of hot air. For those that know Abbie they probably wouldn’t contest that much.

That said, Abbie isn’t a sociopath or even a “Queen Bee” type. She certainly frames herself to be an alpha, but a lot of that seems to be more present on the basketball court rather than in casual conversation. Whereas her family prefers social niceties, Abbie doesn’t. In fact, Abbie’s honest demeanor can be oft mistaken for antagonistic japes when she is merely being blunt. Though sometimes it would help if she could read the room, or measure her responses better. Of all the kids born from the families on Everbrook Circle, one could probably do worse than Abigail “Abbie” Prescott. That much is for sure. At least she won't brag about having more money than you, after all.

Family History/Backstory
The Prescott Family is one of the oldest families in the city of Everbrook.

Abigail, Abbie to anyone that knows her, has had a motor since she was old enough to walk. Despite only growing to be five-foot-three she has shown an affinity for competition and a flair for the dramatic. Every single girls’ basketball team in Everbrook has highlighted her talents at the guard position. Still, the spotlight hasn’t made her happy enough. She wants to be free of Everbrook and while she has the prestige that a member of the Prescott Family deserves, she lacks the opportunity. In over nine generations not a single Prescott has left Everbrook. Some who wanted to never got the chance to.

But family secrets are elusive, flying under Abbie’s radar with relative ease. She’s not particularly inquisitive due to her hyper-focused and self-centered nature. Her Sweet Sixteen wasn’t too long ago and the idea of a collegiate basketball career has not yet crossed her mind. Right now she’s hoping to drag Everbrook’s sorry excuse for a girls’ basketball program to a State and National Championship. However, she might not get that chance. The upcoming summer is strange and full of misfortune. She had been called up to a basketball camp… but her invitation was canceled last minute when the camp was canceled. When she tried to drive out of Everbrook for a festival in another state the only way out was blocked off by a traffic accident on six different occasions.

What the hell was going on?

Other Info
  • The Prescott's are rather wealthy. They have run the Prescott Cider Mill since 1736 and own several non-essential businesses in Everbrook. One member of the family was even Mayor during the First World War.
  • Her mother comes from a long line of bankers. Her grandfather runs the Prescott National Bank.
  • Her car is a 1970 Plymouth Roadrunner. She hoped for something more modern, but it's Everbrook. There are still functional payphones, after all.
  • She has a part-time job working at the local supermarket -- though its more of a general store.

Name
Asélie Cadieux

Age
Sixteen

Place of Residence
115 Applen Avenue

Personality Traits
Some might see Asélie as someone who is brash and obnoxious. Others might see her as one of the "cool kids" of Everbook High. Both viewpoints have some truth to them.

Delinquent: Asélie has always been quite the troublemaker since before the move to Everbrook. She's the type to freely skip school, ride her skateboard where she isn't allowed, and maybe smoke a little weed on the side. You only have one childhood; there isn't a need to be boggled down by rules yet.

Outspoken: Kind of a hot head, Asélie doesn't mince her words and says whatever is on her mind. This often leads to her getting into arguments and fights, some of which have been physical.

Family History/Backstory
The Cadieux family were planned to be a temporary addition to Everbrook, Maine, having moved to the city from Montreal, Canada following Étienne Cadieux's promotion to oversee company investments within the state. Whilst her father saw it as a chance to do good for his nuisance-causing daughter, Asélie, on the other hand, saw it as betrayal. Sure, her parents may have been getting complaints about her skateboarding and loud music, but Montreal was all Asélie knew. Her popularity, friends and connections—she'd have to give it all up in favor for a no-name city where she had nothing.

Begrudgingly, Asélie accepted the move, but the damage had already been done, furthering the divide between parent and child. Abusing her status as the new "foreign kid", Asélie began to lash out at her parents in the only way she knew—staying out past curfew, partying with her classmates, and being a general terror to the neighborhood—until her father's work or her parents brought them back to Montreal. It never did.

Now, almost three years later, Asélie is running out of steam, and in turn growing acquiescent with her new life as her father seems to continuously find work to do. She would still much prefer going back to Montreal, but perhaps it wouldn't hurt to give Everbrook a chance.

Other Info
  • Asélie's mother tongue is French, with English as a second language. No matter what language Asélie speaks, however, she still has a distinct Quebec accent.
  • Unlike most teenagers, Asélie does not have a driver's license as she hasn't gone through the steps a foreigner would need in order to drive in the US. Nothing compares to riding a skateboard against the wind, anyway.

Danny Norris

Name
Danny Norris

Age
17

Place of Residence
117 Turner Street

Personality Traits
Good-natured: Danny is, ultimately, a basically nice person who’d like to get along with just about everybody. He’d never put anyone down or try and make himself out to be superior to them, and he’s unflinchingly polite. At times, this overlaps with a kind of severe conflict aversion – though you’d never guess it from seeing him on the field, he hates interpersonal conflict more than anything, and will appease, acquiesce, or back away on anything just to get out of it.

Popular: Star wide receiver of the football team combined with his generally positive attitude means Danny’s a pretty well-liked guy. His family is respected around the town, and he gets along pretty well with the Everbrook High ‘in crowd’. Those on the social periphery might consider him ‘just another popular kid’, and in truth he could do more to curtail some of the bullying his peers engage in (see: adverse to conflict), but most would have neutral-to-positive feelings towards him.

Smarter than he looks: Danny’s not a leader, preferring to have someone else call the shots. It’d be wrong to assume that he’s a dumb jock, however – he’s a deep thinker, and he’s always paying attention. In school, he’s a middling student – he’d be better if he had more time to study, and math continually evades him, but his command of history and English are pretty good, and he’s got a decent mind for problem-solving.

Family History/Backstory
Danny’s lived in Everbrook his whole life. His parents met in Portland, and moved out to Everbrook to start a family. Now, his father is the chief of the local fire station, and his mother works as a public defender; they’ve been living in Everbrook for 20 years, and their active presence in the community as well as the nature of their jobs means that they’re well-regarded by the community as a whole. He has two siblings – an older brother, Jacob, who’s currently attending college in Massachusetts, and a younger sister, Anjelica, who’s entering her second year in middle school.

As soon as he was old enough, Danny tried out for the Everbrook High football team, and he’s risen to prominence as their star wide receiver. He’s already been approached by scouts from several colleges interested in giving him a scholarship to play for them – he’s got friends, a normal family life, prospects, hobbies. Seems like there’s nothing terribly strange coming up in his future.

Right?

Other Info
Has a driver’s license and his brother’s hand-me-down pickup truck. Works summers as a busboy at a family friend’s diner. Faceclaim is Marcus Sivyer.

Name
Ruby Han

Age
17 Years Old

Place of Residence
152 Applen Avenue

Personality Traits
Ruby has always been more of the introverted sort. She has never been the type to show or express her emotions easily, but when she does, you’ll know that it is absolutely genuine. This also leads into the fact that she is not a talkative chatterbox, but that in turn also makes her a great listener. When she’s quiet, she’s observant. That makes her a great considerate friend to have, as you’ll always know that she’ll be there to listen to your rants and whines without judgement. It’s not exactly that she is always silent, it’s more that she is taking the extra time to acknowledge her thoughts. She recognises what she is thinking and takes the extra time and effort to stop and reflect on it. This can work as a double-edged sword, but it is not something that she can change easily for a matter of fact. Ruby is friendly and easy going, and is not a difficult person to get along with. She is polite and seldom rude, both to her peers and elders.

She pursues an active lifestyle with plenty of energy to spare and likes to pursue anything that catches her interest and attention, and can often be found doing activities of all kinds. She’s in the habit of proving that she’s just as good as boys or better, and has proven herself in more than a few occasions in that enough of the boys have recognised her for the fact. Ruby is also known to be incredibly stubborn and prefers doing things her way. Ruby does have a compassionate side to her though, and likes doing little things to show how she feels about her friends and loved ones where words would fail to describe how she feels for them. The saying actions speak louder than words is very much in tuned with how she behaves as she is not one who is very expressive when it comes to her feelings.

Family History/Backstory
Ruby Han was born on November 22 2002 in Los Angeles to Richard and Rachel Han. She is the couple's only child and was raised with as much love and affection as the couple could provide. When she was six, her mother fell gravely ill and became bedridden with complications from lingering illness she had been combating ever since childbirth. She eventually lose the battle her sickness and passed away two years later when Ruby was just a tender young age of eight. Richard fell into a period of grief as he had loved his wife with all his heart and found it difficult to accept the fact that his childhood sweetheart was no longer in his heart after more than fifteen years of being together. Tired of being in the city he grew up and met his wife in, he made the decision to move to Everbrook to escape the painful memories of remaining in California. The inheritance of his late younger brother's home in the quiet town had remained unsettled for quite some time now, and Richard took the opportunity to settle the matter by moving into the now vacant home.

Ruby did not know much about her uncle George, and she did not see him often. The two of them had only met twice, the most recent being his visit to her mother's funeral. From what she knew, he was a simple and introverted man who did not marry and had no children and mostly kept to himself in his home. Moving into Everbrook seemed to be the right decision as it allowed Richard to start a new and began picking himself up. He raised his daughter with all the love he could give and more and the father-and-daughter pair were very close and shared just about everything with one another. Raising a child as a single parent is never easy, and Ruby does all she can to help her father out with the household chores and working part time jobs to supplement the family's income. She does all sorts of odd jobs for her neighbours and just about anyone in town. Highly active and involved, just about everyone in the neighbourhood knows her well and welcomes her energetic and cheerful smile whenever she greets them while roaming around on her bike.

Other Info

  • She rides her bike everywhere in town, and is her main mode of transport. She ocassionally takes the bus.
  • She is fluent in both English and Korean.
  • Her fathers work as the manager of the local supermarket.
  • She is a part-time pizza chef at the local pizzeria. She has been there for nearly six months now. She also does all kinds of simple odd jobs like cutting grass and delivering milk and newspaper.
  • Loves eating and enjoys most types of cuisine.
  • Loves cooking and singing in her free time.

Name
Jessica M. Malone, AKA Jess

Age
16 years old

Place of Residence
521 Turner Street

Personality Traits
Rebellious - Jess has been going through a rebellious phase or at least rebellious for her. She isn’t going out searching for trouble but just doing small things to give her sense of freedom and choice, standing up for own beliefs or those of others. Growing up under a military father meant strict rules and curfews, everything coming with some sort of stipulation. It is why she started to do the opposite of what was expected of her. She did things like sneaking out odd hours, dropping from less than an A on subjects she struggles with and would normally have to study hours for, letting her hair grow out to touch her shoulders, sneaking into places she doesn’t belong, and getting various piercing, her nose ring being her proudest achievement even if she got hell over it.

Carefree - She is all about exploring, chasing her passions, rolling with the punches, and pursuing things that give her a feeling of happiness, dangerous or not. You could say she is a bit of a daredevil. It is more that she doesn’t want to live with any regrets. She wants to keep in the moment as much as possible and keep trying something new. It is difficult for her to really show her emotions that lay deep beneath the surface but she is always there to lend an ear, give advice, and be a pillar for others.

Brave - She does not have many things she is truly afraid of. The fears that she does have, she was told that you must keep a calm head and overcome them. She has her weak moments like any other but when in a pinch, she will always take a stand. It was important to protect others and stand up for them when they couldn’t themselves. She has more training than most and while she may look weak and fragile, she knows what she needs to do to turn the odds in her favor.

Caring - Jess is the type that will hold a door open for someone, give the shirt off her back for someone in need, help a stranger, and just be a helping hand. She feels empathy for others and is good at seeing a situation from all points of view. It makes her a good peacekeeper as she will always try to use words before violence. She would rather sacrifice herself, letting someone else off the hook. In her mind, you should treat people how you want to be treated. This also means she can be stubborn and protective of what and who she cares about. Sadly, that means if she notices something is bothering another person, she tries to get to the bottom of it. She just tries to do the best she can.

Focused - She likes to go with the flow, being optimistic and carefree but when in a sticky situation, she gets very tactical and focused. Plans aren’t her strongest suit but she will try to think her way out of a bad situation anyway. It is also why she had been able to do so well in school even with all her bouncing around. She digs in and studies hard, making the best with what she has got and keeps on task. It easy for her to get locked in on a project or even something as simple as a book when she is in go mode. It sometimes leaves her a bit oblivious if she is locked or focused on something, missing other points. She tends to give into curiosity easier since she wants to focus on solving the puzzle.

Family History/Backstory
On Friday, August 13th, in a California memorial hospital, Martin and Kristen Malone welcomed their daughter into the world. They had been trying for years to start up a family of their own with many disappointments and tragedies along the way, but Jessica was truly a bundle of joy and a miracle for the two of them. They did the best they could to give her a normal and loving childhood, despite the fact that they would frequently move depending on where her father would be assigned to next as an active military officer. Kristen gave up being a seamstress, deciding to be a stay at home mother so she could be there for her daughter as best she could and because she was lucky to have the wherewithal to do so. She homeschooled Jessica, the two working hard on her studies and learning new things together like painting.

Her mother was always the type to be kind and patient, never pushing her and just trying to help her figure things out for herself. Her father on the other hand was strict and a bit stoic, finding it hard to find a common ground with his daughter even though he cared deeply. He tried to push her to be better than her best, setting rules he believed would help her succeed and keeping her in check when she did something wrong. It seemed that every time he tried to talk to Jess though, the wrong thing seemed to pop out. Her mother ended up being the buffer, helping them translate their feelings or making sure Martin took a moment to stop and listen. As Jess got older, the rift got deeper as he started treating her even more like a soldier such as fun things like camping turning into survival lessons, not letting her keep long hair, everything being in order, and trying to get perfection from whatever she decided to do. It didn’t bother her so much when she was younger but as she got older it became exhausting and suffocating, to the point she agreed to anything that would get her out or away from the house.

She practically begged to start up public school once she hit middle school and was ecstatic when her folks agreed to it. It helped give her a feeling of freedom and some time to herself without having judgement. She found a passion for photography and started to do after school activities such as Track, finding running to be relaxing. It did start a chain of problems though and she found each new school she went to were all at different paces with their curriculums. Some she excelled in and others she felt behind, fighting hard to keep up. Jess lived a life without roots and a place to truly call her home. Everytime she gets close to the dream, making friends and starting to build a life of her own, it crumbles into dust the moment her father announces they have to move once again. It shouldn’t be a surprise, what else can be expected when being born into a military family but it only felt harder and harder with each new destination. Nothing could have been worse than when she turned 15, her mom suddenly passed away.

Jess had come home to her collapsed in the kitchen, calling an ambulance but nothing could be done. It was already too late by the time she had been found. The doctors had said she had a brain aneurysm that had ruptured. They had both been at a loss and had grieved in different ways. Jess becoming more wild, taking control of her life, and doing things that remind her of her mother. Martin had found the bottle and work to be his relief. He started working more and when he was home, he was drinking to forget and letting Jess take over in caring for them. It was her Aunt Samantha that suggested he put in a request to work at the army base near her hometown, live close by and that way they had a fresh start away from the house that their loved one had died in. He stubbornly refused. It wasn’t until almost a year later that he decided to finally request the transfer, slowly working on going to counseling but still not admitting to his problem or stopping for that matter. He just got better at hiding it while he tried to get his life in order. They both came to an agreement that they would wait until as close to Summer as possible before moving to Everbrook so she could finish out the year without having to try and figure out new classes or navigate a new school.

Other Info
• Usually uses roller blades to get around town. Bikes are fine but they can be easily stolen and you have to lock them up and it seems like too much of a hassle. She technically has a permit but getting her father to let her drive is laughable as he wants her to work hard, save up, and use her own money to get the things she wants that aren’t necessary in his mind. Apparently, it is supposed to build character.

• She usually always has a bag or backpack of some kind so she can switch out her skates and shoes depending on her needs. It also comes in handy for carrying other things she might need while she is out and about.

• She has been on multiple Track teams from various schools and has been the top competitor in a few of them. She keeps up with stretching, yoga, and morning runs in her normal routine even if she is unable to get on a team whether it was because there were better runners picked or she missed tryouts with the move. She is fond of climbing when she has the time.

• Enjoys art and photography. She can often be found doodling and even has drawn on her jeans while sitting in boredom. Heck, she even paints scenery and landscapes on the back of pennies before spending them. She often takes pictures of various landmarks as well, things that she finds fascinating or beautiful. She always tries to challenge herself to find the next greatest place that no one has thought to go to or explore and take pictures.

• She is a bit of a collector, finding and scavenging small bits and bobbles she finds interesting. Most often, it will be something that indicates the location she has been. A way to take a physical piece of her multiple homes with her. She actually has a good amount of discarded license plates decorating her walls for this reason.

• Jess has taken self defense classes (not by choice). Her father used to tell her that a young lady should at least know the basics so that way if you can’t out run an attacker that you have a back up plan. She has never had to use it and found it a waste of her after school hours.

• Always carries a multi tool pocket knife. It is always good to have the tools you need handy. It has proven useful on many a mini adventure.

• Having just arrived in town, she doesn’t have a job for the summer yet but she plans on getting one. Maybe at the library since she enjoys books or maybe just a simple cashier or delivery job.

• Jess deep down is actually a bit insecure. She has spent most of her life with little appreciation for her accomplishments and always pressured to be the best. Her father is not one to easily impress and there seems to be this great divide between them that keeps growing bigger. He has been spiraling since her mother’s death and honestly, she is far from over it herself.

Name
Gabriela Mendez

Age
16

Place of Residence
144 Courtland Street

Personality Traits
Adventurous: Gabi has a zest for life that's undeniably a significant part of her personality. She's never one to sit something out if it sounds fun, especially something new. Though she of course exercises restraint in situations that are obviously and blatantly dangerous, she likes to get out and about and will do just about anything (within reason) once. An experience is nothing to miss out on, and even if it's not anything particularly meaningful, she doesn't consider anything fun to be a waste of time.

Energetic: Befitting someone who likes to be near-constantly doing things, Gabi has a lot of energy. Too much, depending on who you ask. Gabi would definitely be considered an extrovert, as spending time with her friends is a hell of a mood booster in and of itself. She's also decently athletic, and has fun with certain types of exertion like off-road bicycling, hiking, and swimming. Her energy extends to less physically-focused hobbies too. Once you get her talking about her favorite dinosaur, it's hard to get her to stop. God have mercy if you ask anything about alligators.

Affectionate: Gabi tends to be that friend who's very open with friendly affection, physical or otherwise. Whether it's a held hand, an arm draped over the shoulder, or even the occasional platonic smooch to the cheek, if Gabi cares for you and you're comfortable with it, you'll know. Outside of being physically doting, she isn't shy about telling her friends she loves them. She's definitely the type to blast someone with dozens of heart emojis when she's in a particularly good mood.

Superstitious: Nobody could tell you exactly what caused it, but Gabi is a firm believer in things beyond the normal human perception. Aliens? Most likely. Ghosts? Almost definitely. While the expedition turned out to be more a night of goofing off in the woods, Gabi has attended a bigfoot hunt more than once and was firmly determined to capture _something,_ at least before five hours of nothing in particular had passed. All the same, she maintains an interest in cryptozoology, whether local or foreign. It's not her primary hyperfixation, but it intrigues her enough to engage in.

Stubborn: Though she's generally nice and she does her best to be so, Gabi undeniably has something of a headstrong attitude too. She's not one to give up easily or drop a point when she feels it's worth arguing over, and she tends to judge a bit too quickly and hold fast to those perceptions. While not exactly a flagrant behavioral issue, she has a low tolerance for people who aren't outwardly kind and holds grudges for longer than is healthy. Unfortunately, her protectiveness of her little brother has caused him some issues with other kids his age that Gabi doesn't realize she's partially the root of, and when particularly upset, she has a tendency to lash out at people she has grievances with.

Family History/Backstory
Mother: Laura Mendez, née Anglana
Father: Martin Mendez
Brother: Jeffrey Mendez
Grandfather: Yusuf Anglana

Gabi is an Everbrook local. Her grandfather moved from Somalia to America with his daughter during her youth. Her father is of Costa Rican descent and has had family in the state for as far back as their records exist. Gabi's parents met in Everbrook after they had both moved there in the early 2000s, in the midst of a mass migration of Somali immigrants to Maine.

Gabi was born on April 4th, 2004. She was lucky enough to have a good childhood, full of formative interests that would last for years to come. She did, however, experience her fair share of bullying as a young kid, especially throughout middle school. Being of lower class, mixed ethnicity, and displaying signs of some budding mental illness created a rough environment, one that she eventually began to fight tooth and nail against. Gabi racked up a number of infractions, both for minor grievances in class and for engaging in a few full-on brawls.

Despite the trouble she got into, her grandpa supported her completely. It wasn't hard to recognize why some of the shit she got was coming her way in the first place. Gabi naturally grew very close to her grandpa, which made his health's decline all the more harsh on her. In Gabi's freshman year of high school, he became severely ill with intestinal cancer. The severity of his condition necessitated hospitalization out-of-town in Portland, and for the past year, Gabi's made it an effort to visit him as much as possible.

Lately though, that's gotten difficult. Whether it was car issues, road work, work scheduling, or inclement weather, Gabi and her family have been unable to leave the city limits of Everbrook to go and visit him. His antiquated experience with technology has even made so much as a video call near impossible, and the stress of not being able to see him has been getting to her.

Gabi believes something weird is going on. The amount of times her potential visits have been stopped short are starting to feel like more than a coincidence, but whatever it's related to, she has no idea.

Other Info

  • Gabi has a lot of fun with off-road biking. She rides and maintains a hardtail mountain bike both for riding in the woods and in town.
  • Gabi likes to dance and enjoys EDM. Her other favorite genre is 80's rock.
  • Gabi loves both paleozoology and marine zoology. She's by no means encylopedic but she finds those types of animals the most interesting.
  • Gabi's favorite animal is the alligator. She had a short obsession with Steve Irwin as a child, and she owns a life-sized alligator stuffed animal. Its name is Al E. Gator.
  • Gabi is currently unemployed and believes herself far too stubborn to maintain a job in a retail setting. She's entertained taking a veterinary assistant course after high school or perhaps trying her luck as a zookeeper in a bigger city.

Name
Astrid Evans

Age
17

Place of Residence
101 Everbrook Circle

Personality Traits
Captain Planet: Much like the anti-pollution 90’s superhero, Astrid is a child both of and for the planet. It might come off as obnoxious or just a phase to most adults, but she tries to leave the smallest carbon footprint that she can. Her behavior lends itself well to varying ecofriendly and animal right agencies and clubs around her.

Chameleon: Astrid is great at blending in with any kind of crowd, she changes her ‘skin’ aka her personality based on what people she interacts with or trying to impress. Her talent for fraud and theatre only help to bolster her eccentric behavior.

For the People: Despite being from a family line surrounded by wealth, the finer things in life never appealed to Astrid if at all. Rather than being caught at a country club or the white-collar version of a séance, Astrid most of the time found herself hanging around Courtland street with those who had nothing but the clothes on their backs.

Lock Box: If there was one flaw that stuck out the most, it was definitely how locked away she kept her actual emotions. With enough rehearsal and the perfect poker face her inner self was practically impregnable from outside hands.

Family History/Backstory
Ever since being born and raised in Everbrook she’s wanted to live elsewhere, now it wasn’t for the lack of trying that she couldn’t get out but moreso a series of unfortunate events. Having been one of the more established names in the quaint town in Maine, there was practically a massive tether attached to mind, body, and soul to young Astrid so she could keep the name and wealth going. All of this was a bit excessive for the developing mind of a young girl, so it was shelved for later down the road. Her parents, like most parents in the area were happily married and dedicated to their heir. Unlike most upper class crust her parents didn’t come with the less scrupulous traits of the haughty rich. Both of them worked for their wealth even having had the family’s wealth as a safety net (it was more akin to a safety castle, but you get the idea) In what did they work you ask? Well they were both morticians and damn good ones at that. The Evans on their own dime had set up their own funeral home in town and slowly gained traction over the years until they made it to the top.

Of course, no parent would want that intermingling with the lives of their children so like everything else it was locked away until she could face it. Little did she know, Astrid would have to face it much sooner rather than later. It wasn’t until middle school than she had found out her mother had developed breast cancer. And despite a three-year long war with the cancer in the end it won out the battle of attrition. The experience of that left a lasting impression on the impressionable Astrid, especially when facing her mom during the wake when the parlor that housed her was the same office, she spent countless hours with her mother and father while they attended their business. Astrid bided her time in Everbrook until it was finally senior year where she thought college would finally be an escape, but tour after tour and letter after letter either got cancelled or returned to sender. The grip of the other side felt like it was tightening its grip around her neck, why couldn’t she just leave?

Other Info

  • The Evans Estate and Wealth originate from a long line of fisherman turned to fish enterprise with the collection, selling, and competing of anything fish related.
  • Astrid works part-time at her parents Funeral Home when she’s not in school. While she doesn’t tend to the bodies she does tend to nicer things like floral arrangements and receiving calls.
  • Astrid drives a Honda XR600 that passed down to her from her father when he first owned it. She prefers two wheels and the vintage look over anything driven around her.

Name
Amira Kothari aka "Amy" or "The Brit"

Age
16

Place of Residence
242 Everbrook Circle

Personality Traits
One has to spend just half an hour with Amy to see that she is the typical "good girl" type. Amazing grades, respectful, and always does her best to avoid any sort of confrontation. Growing up, Amy was disciplined as a young child, and thus she's knowledgeable enough to know when there's trouble and more importantly, how to avoid it. As an only child, her parents made sure she wasn't the least bit spoiled unless she deserved to be.

Amy loves to have a good time around her close group of friends. They will sometimes encourage her to drink or do whatever any teenager in a small town usually does to occupy time, but she always turns them down. They don't treat her any differently nor does the relationship with one another changes. Around strangers, however, Amy usually listens more so than she speaks. She's a bit shy around people she doesn't know very well and it takes some time for her to open up to them.

With that said, the girl does have her flaws. She naturally sees the good in people which leads her to misjudge their true intentions. She's gotten in trouble a few times as she's been suckered into being part of minor illegal activities due to her naivety, and that's something she knows she has to work on.

Family History/Backstory
Amy and her parents moved to town from London a few years ago to care for her grandmother's health. She has a couple of family members from her mother's side living in Everbrook. Her father, on the other hand, was raised in England and has most of his family there or back in India. Due to her loved ones being spread out throughout the globe, Amy has had a chance to travel quite a bit despite her young age. Money isn't an issue as Amy's father is a surgeon and her mother's an attorney.

Despite being able to buy practically anything she wants, Amy much prefers to spend money on activities as well as her hobbies. She loves music and has a grand piano in one of the rooms in her house which she uses nearly every week both during her private lessons and on her free time. Aside from being able to play the keyboard, Amy also loves to swim. Her home has an indoor pool, and albeit not all that big, she uses it to stay somewhat in shape. She's been told she could try out for the high school team, but she's turned down the offer as she'd much rather focus on her academics.

All in all, Amy doesn't mind the small-town life, but she certainly misses her life in London. She wants to spend the summer there with her aunt, uncle, and cousins. She's definitely excited as they're going to travel to Australia as well for a couple of weeks, the one place she's been wanting to visit but has never had the chance to go to.

Other Info
Some days, Amy tutors after school. She's flexible and she makes home visits, so she has a good clientele. Her Tesla Model 3 is not at all extravagant compared to what some of the kids on her block drive if they're licensed, but her friends who aren't exactly wealthy always love asking her for a ride.
