So I detailed above how your stats will work. Well, I'm thinking that rather than just providing a boring stat sheet for your perusal, there will be instead an NPC who will aid in the management of your fief, and your stats provided to you through IC in your pm's. Each of you will have a steward character at your disposal. Your steward will provide seasonal reports and provide advice you may or may not take.
I think this will be a lot more fun than just simple stat sheets.
Well i guess this is the time i say something that a historical nerd would say WELP
House Veraleth sorry for possible pronunciation due to 4-way crest is a unified house of either 2 or 3 families judging by the crest and symbols... NOW Brigan... It's the same thing as Belareth but due to the half i belive its more of a union between 2 families

You forget however that House Brigan is actually a bandit clan pretending* to be a great house. And bandits, being bandits, are not very knowledgeable in the meanings of crests. The colors actually have more to do with the words of House Brigan than the origins of it.
*I use the term loosely in this instance, as they are not as much pretending to be as they are declaring themselves to be and killing anyone who disagrees.

Understood... Coughts in attempt to hide laugh
just be know that the colors of your crest represent Red sacrifice or military strength and yellow... Generosity that is what it means in medieval terms...
not criticizing or making fun or anything I just understand that and it is funny when you know those facts
Sorry it’s taking so long. Please feel free to have a look at my incomplete ramblings and let me know if anything needs to change.
Vel’Rahsia is a land primarily of thick forest’s and long winding rivers. Its southern most oceanic border consists of a natural raised rock face and jagged cliffs. Cutting through the middle of the land running three quarters of the way to its northern borderline is the great river Vel. The space beyond that is the dark swampy marshlands known as ‘the deep mist’. At its northern edges the land starts to rise and gives way to few hills.
Equal distance east and west two more smaller rivers run inland from the corner of its ocean border. The twins known as Skaya & Vuyk. These are just over half the length of Vel and more winding. Skaya on the west is shorter and ends in a fork.
For most part, the current land of Vel’Rahsia was considered part of Valencia. The exact border line sway back and forth over time but never receded back beyond the natural forming defence line of great river Vel until ....
The capital is located in the heart and center of the province. Once a fortified dock on the river it built naturally over time. None more than during the years when Valencia owned all to the west and Tollon Rahsia was granted that to the east. The river acting as a divider it sprouted into two seperate cities for a time, defending from even each other before eventually being reunited.
To the north east beyond the river Vuyk is Tohn. In times of war it acted as a rally point and forward war camp of Valencia. It still holds the tall lookout towers reaching out above the trees. After Sera withdrew and Valencia’s influence spread, it was less important and given to the tribesmen as a way of pushing them further away from the Holy empire of Valencia and the river Vel. It was named after Tollon and Sephia’s first son who died as a general fighting for Valencia.
136: Over 100 years after Gideon’s crucifixion, amongst the throws of war, a small alliance was born. The records are unclear if it was a marriage of passion and forbidden love or simply that of a political nature, needs and necessity. Unification.
For their own reasons, speculation states the sense of impending doom, rumours have it as a disagreement with the king of Caliphate.
Either way Tollon a leader of southern tribesman married the holy duchess Sephia, descendant of Gideon’s own disciples. His men were granted the forest land around the great river Vel. Not only did they bring great knowledge of ship building but also none other could defend the forest like them. It was a good trade. At the time.
137: first son was born 139: second son born 142 third son born still born 149: First son dies in war first daughter is born Sephia dies in childbirth 150: Caliphate withdraws
156: Tension grows around Vel as the tribesmen are no longer needed and Sephia isn’t present to rule them.
172: East of the great river Vel the forward camp is turned into a capital city, Named after Tollon’s first son, Tohn, and the tribesmen are pushed east of the river.
193:
200: Valencia spreads across the north
220: As Valencia cemented it’s hold on the Northen lands, it no longer needed

India The closest equivalent to the title of Sovereign Duke is Rao and to a feudal duchy, a large jagir. Thus, a Rao (in the ruling system) or a Jagirdar, Deshmukh, Patil and Zamindar (in a feudal way) are closely equivalent to a Duke.

This has been a little slow going, so I Think I'll shelf this for now. Doesn't seem to be much action here in the Nation RPG department. But I encourage you guys to check out another game I'm starting up - https://www.roleplayerguild.com/posts/5131029
