This is just an interest check, a proper intro post will come once I know there are enough people interested to warrant one. Don't worry, I'm not about to make my triumphant return to RPGuild without a massive wall of text!

Basically, this has been stewing in my head for the better part of a couple months now ever since I finally got around to binging Apocrypha on Netflix. I have... opinions on that story. Most of them some flavor or another of disappointment. However, I think we can do better! This RP would basically be a PvE game for 6-12 players in which you take on the role of the Yggdmillennia of a slightly different universe. Gone are the original Masters and Servants of Black (save perhaps Darnic), replaced by your characters. The Servants of Red have similarly been remixed and this time around, you'll actually be facing the enemy Masters sent by the Mage's Association instead of Marik Ishtar and his Servant harem.

I haven't ironed out further details just yet, since this is just a preliminary interest check, but due to the nature of the story, this could actually be a Grail War with multiple winners. A problem I've noticed tends to happen with battle royale-style Fate RPs is that nothing much tends to happen because, well, people get invested in their characters and want them to survive. Here, your Masters/Servants don't necessarily need to die unless that's what you want (or you drop out, I plan on keeping this thing moving in one way or another even if people start dropping out/ghosting).

Anyway, that's about all I've got at the moment. Leave a response if this is something you'd like to see and I can get to work hammering out something of substance.

I'll make a tentative interest in this known. I'll have to see how it unfolds for a concrete opinion.

Could be interested. Got a Lancer that works best in a team-based setting, especially in one where we're already entrenched.

Well, if we are calling spots already, I suppose I could... actually avoid the Archer Class for once. I'm pretty tired of them after my accumulated experience.

Maybe Saber. I certainly can think of a few interesting ones.

Well, what's the planned power level for the servants in this war? I have a few ideas for Berserker. One of which is Bhima, and he's Arjuna's older brother. So he's got a lot of strength feats going on.
Otherwise, I've got Seti the first to be the team's local Egyptian.

Definitely Interested, if there's still room! I don't have a preference for Servant classes, so I can take whatever's leftover or just play a Master if this gets a ton of players.

@Reflection Well, Apocrypha gave us Karna and a bunch of other really broken Servants, so... meh. I don’t think I’m going to be too strict about it since this is a PvE RP, but my preference would be that the players be relative underdogs.

@Turboshitter In that case, I can probably make a fun underdog-esque servant. I'll keep you up to date on my progress.

I especially would like to play a master in the story (if I join, I'm still holding onto my "maybe"), it sounds like it would be a lot of fun all on one team, but I do have a possible Rider I'd be willing to take for a test drive. Otherwise I'm with Duoya, don't mind any role.

Not to fear, my fine fellow! While the idea was to have six people each playing a Master and a Servant, if there is anyone who does not wish to do so, a slot may be open for you yet!

Alternatively, you could choose to join us as one of the Yggdmillennia network’s support mages brought in to assist with the Great Holy Grail War. Doing so would allow you to step in if any Masters drop out and form a contract with their Servant.

@TurboshitterI was mainly referring to coming in as a player but I can double up on co-gm if you really want. I can reuse Leon for practical purposes, as people tend to expect me to do as this point, or make a new master/servant combo. Depends on what we need.

I'm in an odd scenario where I've got a servant I'd like to play but don't really have any concepts for a master. My reason for the double up suggestion is because I know the servant I'd like to run is a saber, but that's clearly a class someone else wants. Either way, I'll keep an eye open.
