It was time for Bakuto to head to the ring for his match up, the finals of the World Martial Arts Tournament. Everything seemed like a dream that led to this moment that Bakuto could hardly believe he was here. The preliminary battles were a breeze for Bakuto barely even a challenge. Then came the first three rounds. The first guy Rhine Bakuto used his speed in its more normal state to out match him.

Next was Jackson. Bakuto took a little bit more damage in that fight but he showed his secret technique to the world the afterimage. Bakuto revealed he was a lot faster then the first round battle. Then was the semi final round battle against the man who defeated the former champion Bakuto just outclassed the man who got everyone's attention with nearly a single shot when he dropped Lee from the tournament to get to the finals. Bakuto didn't leave that fight harmed but he did leave his impact having showed what he could do when he doesn't hold back. Now he has the finals he had to prepare for.

During that hour Bakuto focused on intensely meditating for the final fight of the tournament. Bakuto went through the fight through mental scenarios from what he seen from the battles he watched. Bakuto only had that last fight to learn anything from his opponent which was still fresh in his mind. From what he learned from Angela's fight with Niko she was smart and could still hit someone that was faster her as she anticipated then moved and acted. Bakuto knew he needed to visualize the battle and anticipate what he was going to be up against.

The time soon came Bakuto was told to leave the preparation room after he took a deep breath he took up and made his way to the ring.
Bakuto popped a senzu bean into his mouth and had began to eat it as he entered the ring. Bakuto would need the extra energy for this fight. This isnt like the other rounds, this was as serious as his last round, but now Bakuto wasn't going to hold anything back he was going to give this fight everything he had. To Bakuto he couldnt lose here, he was close to winning the tournament and getting his village the help he wanted to give it. This was the time for Bakuto to either claim his victory or go down fighting.

Bakuto gave Angela once he saw her a respectful bow as he done to all other opponents in then took his battle stance as he waits for the gong. His breathing was steady, his demeaner was focused as Bakuto stared intently at Angela studying everything. Watching how muscles moved as she breathed, watching for any similar things she did from the last fight she had with Niko. The moment the gong rings Bakuto waited, as he planned this would be the moment that decides the fate of the tournament.

The gong sounded Angela asked Bakuto not to hold anything back. He nearly smirked from that comment as he had planned going all out from the start. He watched as she charged at him, she was going to for a strike, but Bakuto stood there in his stance as Angela approached him. She wasn't that fast compared to his last two opponents. His gaze that he stared at her with didn't waver at all as she approached he watched her movements. He watched her move took in how she moved with each step. He studied everything as he prepared himself for his own first movements. This was the fight that will end the tournament and Bakuto didn't want to make any mistake in his first moves against the other finalist.

He waited to the last moment to act he would use his afterimage technique. Bakuto had used this before but he wasn't trying to reappear behind her where he had with his other opponents he was going to try and reappear a few seconds afterwards inside his own afterimage. Then just hauls off and goes for a heavy strike to start off his offense. A serious punch looking to nail Angela in the gut with a solid punch. She didn't want him to hold back and he wasn't. He was going to hit her with all his strength while using his speed to set up the strike.[

The attack Bakuto had hit Angela with was relentless after his first initial gut punch. His speed clearly was overwhelming but he burned off a lot of energy in that attack. Yet he could see Angela wasnt standing very well, as he breathed heavily he said, "You really can take a hit can't you? Just remember you asked me to not to hold back and now here we go again."

He took a deep breath and took in the situation, Angela was hurt and bleeding from his attacks. He had either hoped she would give up or the the referee would call for the match to be stopped but none of that happened from his point of view. Bakuto couldnt stop now even if you wanted to. He had to win this battle for his village, and out of respect for his opponent he couldnt hold back now. Even in his opponent's state she was in, this was the time for Bakuto to act.

With those few words he charges at Angela using his base speed as he approached her he was a bit winded by the his own attack but he couldnt stop now. He saw the blood, he had too keep the pressure against his opponent. Putting a bit of strain in his muscles he just goes for power strikes against Angela. He had to knock away her defense so he planned to just hit her until her defense just falls. Serious strikes and held nothing back. His speed lacked a bit now but his strength remained strong.

His attacks were slow but he tried anyway to punch away at Angela, but something was off. Bakuto felt like he was punching a solid metal wall with each strike. It took Bakuto a moment to figure out what was going on that Angela did something to harden her skin and all he was doing was bashing his hands against the rock hard surface or her skin.

Bakuto jumped back it almost felt as if he had gone twelve rounds of punching a brick wall. They were hurt and it was mostly his own strength that. He tried to shake his hands a bit to try and shake the feeling of pain out of them he said in comment, "Interesting technique there, havent ever seen anything like it. Surprised me there but that won't be happening again, knowing from experience with my own special technique something like that must take its toll on someone. Although not sure how much of a toll difference it is from running real fast to making ones skin as hard as yours just got, but I'm going to guess there was something there. I got to say this is one heck of a fight."

With a big smile even though Bakuto was in pain as the toll of this fight was taking a considerable effect on him he sill at this moment was enjoying the fight. While he was enjoyed this fight in the back of his mind did remind him of what was at stake. Taking a control of his breathing once more he steadied himself and looked to get ready for his next attack he then said, "I might be enjoying this battle a lot but I have to end it now. I must win here so now I will end this."

Bakuto then takes off quickly not directly at Angela but started to run a circle around her. The running attack he used against his first opponent. Running circles around his opponent to build up enough speed to create a great deal of force behind his punch that his strength wouldn't normally have. This time how ever Bakuto was put everything his had into running. Using the afterimage technique while seriously running hard. A ring of Bakutos appeared running around Angela as he continued to build up his speed. At the max speed moment he makes his break and uses his speed to fling himself in towards opponent for one speed assisted punch.

The attacks hit but Angela was still standing. Unlike the last exchange Bakuto takes off again going as fast as he could. Once again circling around Angela running at high speed. Bakuto's speed was slow for a bit but he poured everything he has to try and keep himself going.

Going back to his afterimage or still using it to keep his speed built up. He circles Angela, she moved out of the way of his orignal planned attack and attacked his afterimages but now here Bakuto was again setting up his attack again. His fatigue was getting stronger but he wasnt going to stop, he couldn't. In his mind he believed this was it if he stopped now then he would lose it all. His plan of attack was changed though, he wasnt going to go for one punch, as he delivered so far and seen the constant barrage of speed punches seems to be working to run down Angela. Even with her impressive defensive abilities. If she couldn't hit him she couldn't hurt him, if he could just keep the attacks coming fast enough to overwhelm her then he might be able to keep this up to win it. That's with Bakuto assuming he could outlast with his fatigue creeping in more.

With a quick adjustment the circle he was running around Angela closes inward getting closer and closer getting her in reach of his punch but far enough so he can keep running around her. Trying to deliver a flurry of punches coming from the afterimages. If she didn't know which afterimage to block he figured he might be able to get some well timed shots as well in to make more of this speedy assault.

The afterimage assault ends as Bakuto stops a few feet away from Angela. He was breathing hard as the battle has taken its toll greatly now on him. Yet he was still stood there, he was keeping his guard up, but he wasn't nearly spent at this point. His last attack his afterimages were almost pathetic to his own standards. He tried to regain his breath he was staggering but he wasn't out he takes his battle stance but he knew he couldn't do his secret technique any more without burning what energy he had left. Seeing his opponent he could tell Angela wasn't faring any better.

"This is an awesome fight. It has been a long time since I have been pushed this far. The afterimage technique my ace in the hole takes a lot out of me in a fight. Not sure how much you have left, but I cant imagine it is that much more then I. I thank you for this fight." said Bakuto makes a respectfully bow then gets into a position to defend himself he then added afterwards, "This fight is closing towards its end. Now come at me and show me what you have left. Lets give these people an ending they will remember"

Stopping his movement he now waits for Angela to make her move but looking to counter punch and go on a defensive style himself. He couldn't sprint off like before. He knew if he tried he wouldn't even be moving above average speed but he the only thing he could hope for was to defeat Angela with basic hand to hand combat and hope to out last her in the next exchange.

This fight changed in a near opposite of what happened at the start of the match. With Bakuto on the defensive and Angela on the attack, with one major difference both fighters were nearly spent and out of energy. The shots that hit Bakuto they hurt but didnt do much damage as far as he was aware of. He couldn't do any damage or get a good hit on Angela either. They were at another stalemate in this battle again.

With the current situation Bakuto said in comment after Angela's assault, "Keep those shots coming, maybe I will feel one of them!" He was trying to goad Angela into attacking more recklessly and get her to expend more of her energy with her attacks on him. All Bakuto could hope for is to out wait Angela to get to where he was then start attacking again when she had lost most of her strength to continue on ward as he had. This plan Bakuto really didn't like but he didn't have anything else, all he could do is sit there and take the shots and wait for the next opening so he could strike if that was even possible at this point.

So at this point Bakuto decided to only dodge and put up his guard to avoid serious hits. While he didnt have his speed that he had in the beginning, he had hoped he would be able to just dodge a few of her shots and keep his guard up enough to keep the damage he was about to get again from getting up too high.

His dodging and blocking worked to keep himself from getting extremely damaged he was drained at this point. Completely out of energy to keep up fighting. The only thing keeping Bakuto from forfeiting was his own pride. Looking at Angela he takes a deep breath then says, "Alright now I will end this with one last punch!"

He pulls his arm back looking to appear he prepared a serious punch. Then falling backwards from his own movement. He laid there on his back while he looked at the sky he just laughed there and said afterwards, "Can't even move now, and I think I just lost. It's kind of a shame as I really enjoyed this fight. Done out by over doing it with the afterimage one too many times. I'd get up to congratulate you but until I get another senzu bean I am not going anywhere!"

With only the ability to speak, that's as Bakuto did as he lost in thoughts he failed to get his village money to save it from itself. Came from a village that has fights to just so people could eat to the World Martial Arts Tournament, where people fight in their many arts. His goals were changing he had someone who was stronger than him, he didn't need to go back, but he wanted to get stronger and fight people like Angela again.
