I have seen a lot of crossover RPs and there is always one thing that is bothering me:

NO ONE EVER DIES.

Seriously, I mean that it's okay if you don't want your character to die, butif there is some super OP and strong characters, there's no way everyone could survive.

That's why I'm going to try this.

The idea would be like this: 24-32 Characters(canon) wake up in a ship. They are given food, compass and the map of the island. Then they are thrown onto the island one by one with a parachute. They all have a collar that cannot be taken off, even if you have super powers. It will explode if you try to escape. It will deactivate and open if you die. You have to collect these collars.

24 characters: collect 5 collars
32 characters: collect 7 collars

In the end, 4 characters would be alive and able to leave the island.

Don't worry, I ban all OP characters(superman etc.)

No matter how many characters, some people will die

^ Are these goals for this amount of characters. Say that if a group of 24 characters collect 5 collars then something eventful will happen?

Will the characters know all about these collars at the start of the r.p.?

There will be subplots and/or other things to do on this island right?

I mean that if there are 24 people, and all of them have a collar attached in their neck. You have to collect 5 of these collars to leave the island. And the collars can be taken off only if its carrier dies. So basically:

To get out of the island, you have to kill 5 people. ;)

The collars are waterproof, shockproof and are indestructable.

And if there are 32 characters in game, you have to collect 7 instead of 5. No matter the number, in the end, only 4 will survive.

You can team up, make friends, or kill everyone you see, it's up to you!

Oooo. it's kinda like a battle royale style for a roleplay. I'll keep an eye for this. ^^

Basically yes. Except no cornucopia, everyone starts from a large flying ship, and are dropped to the island one by one after the food, compass and a map is given.

Great! Definitely interested. Like battle royale but with characters from all over- keeping an eye on this for sure!
