When I was a young kid, I fell off the back up a truck. I wasn't grabbing on to anything and the driver stepped on it and I took the fall. I rolled after landing and all. But I was a kid, I was fine.

If that happens now I'll probably be in the hospital for a couple of days.

I was almost hit by a pickup truck walking home from work in the middle of the night. It only missed me by maybe a foot. The driver didn't slow down at all, so I would have been very broken indeed had I not listened to the little voice in my head that told me to stop walking.

The voices sometimes have good ideas.

I've held a full-size python, and on another occasion a different type of snake. The latter was way smaller and it was coiled up on my hands so it was adorable in a way. I've also held a baby gator twice. And yes, I was slightly terrified during each of those experiences.

I'll probably never swim with sharks though. I go to the beach regularly and I don't need that stress in my life. Last time I was at the beach I thought the shadow casted on the water from a skyscraper was a lovely little creature out to get me. I was fooled for only a split second, but I sure as hell swam back to more shallow waters where I could plant my feet on the sand.

The joys of living in America's Australia.

There have been a few times I have seen unusual things happen with light duty vehicles, which included a deer strike that flung the deer five to six meters into the air, yet another where a burrowing owl was struck by a vehicle and caught on the windscreen, another time where a vehicle was struck during a movement by lightning, one that caught fire due to dry brush being pulled into the engine compartment, one wherein the emergency brake was left on and set the running gear of the vehicle on fire, and lastly one that ended in a near rollover due to the vehicle skidding out of control, leaving it to drive for an extended period on two wheels.

I witnessed a vehicle strike an animal. I was the conductor on a seven thousand ton freight train moving 40 MPH that struck a seven hundred pound bull. The bull flew about ten feet and was dead on impact.

So was my sister. Come to find out she had a trifurcated valve where only a bifurcated valve was necessary. She had open heart surgery and they replaced the valve with one from a pig's heart.

When I actively try to go to bed early. No matter the day, or time. This always, unless I have a terrible migrane, leads to someone else (usually more than one person) doing whatever they can to keep me up at night.

And I wonder why all my dreams are either so mundane or morbid, as of late. Clearly it's my brain punishing me for my lack of clairvoyance to sleep before others attempt to keep me awake for hours longer than desired. -.-

Call my comprehension what you will, but I never understood how my dog kept me neighbors awake barking. I didn't hear him barking. I just couldn't understand. Now, I do since I live with a neighbor who has a dog. But, the thing is they played loud rock music and smoked pot all night. So, they're who got him started.

I finally decided to put together my own avatar for once. It's a tiny bit extra, but I wouldn't have it any other way.

My current obsession is The Weeknd's Blinding Lights. The 80s vibe makes me wish I was a teenager during that decade, not born in it.

My son received a Harry Potter game for Christmas, "Hogwarts Battle." Surprisingly, we never played it. Two days ago, we cracked it open and read the rules. You can play with 2-4 players. Each player takes on the role of a Hero. I am Harry Potter, my oldest daughter is Neville Longbottom, my son is Ron Weasley and my youngest daughter is Hermione Grainger. We are currently in game #4 and the villains have taken two locations; the Chamber of Secrets and the Quidditch Wold Cup. It is not an easy game, but very fun to play. It is a collaborative card game where we work together to defeat the villains. Each game (seven total) it gets more and more difficult. If we lose one more location, we lose the game. The villains need only take three locations to win.

@Xandrya There's a joke in there somewhere.

League of Legends is one of the few games that has managed to keep a firm hold of my tiny attention span over the course of several years.

My favorite type of dessert is ice cream.

My favorite ice cream is cookie dough.

I don't generally like cookies unless they're chewy.

I prefer soft cookies myself. I don't care too much for ones that are hard and crunchy, or have a bit of s spicy taste....which is why I don't care much for ginger snaps.
