Azzen was at 10 HP and the kobold only did 9 damage. Shouldn't that mean he still has 1 HP left?

The way the kobold was on the clinging to the masked man, he had some cover which cause the eldritch blast to not hit him.

I usually had a physical notes on every NPCs health history. But seeing as Azzen's health has been a consistent 10 HP in my past posts, I'll keep it at 10 and thus only have 1 health left. The other NPCs health history in my previous posts appear to match up from previous posts.

I've forgotten, but have we been to the first floor? I've been operating on the premise that we started from the bottom and worked our way up, but this guy is heading down back where we came from, right?

Hopefully this helps give the floor plan of the building:

3rd Floor - teleport room (everyone else)
2nd Floor - messhall and barracks (Orchid, masked man, kobold, Azzen, Celeste hiding)
1st Floor - entrance and storage room
Basement - prison

If you are using the Sprint Rule of going 5 times your movement in a straight line. The max would let you pass the runner by about 30ft, but then your turn would end. simple moving 30ft and action dash another 30ft, you can still bonus action to use as you would be next to a nearly unconscious Azzen, Orchid would be about 30ft away, and 60ft is the runner going down the stairs.

Hi everyone,

My days have been pretty busy, but hope everyone is still doing good on their end. This is just a small notification that I may make a post in a few days as it has the passed the 7 days mark of when I would wait for everyone to post or not. But before I do, is anyone still planning to make a post for this round and who would would like to continue the pursuit on the escaping masked man and his backpack of a kobold? I know Orchid could catch up and it was mentioned Blue may sprint ahead to help out. Else I could have turn order end, then party and remaining people can gather their things and thoughts as they prepare their next plan and move forward from where they are.

HMMMMMMMMMMMM I think Orchid will stay instead. I'll admit part of the reason why I want Orchid to give chase is to loot that sweet splint mail off the cultist, but I need to keep myself in check and not get greedy. So yeah I ain't really got nothing for Orchid to do.

Just popin into the OOC to checkin to see how everyone is doing as it has been relatively quiet. Turn order already ended with my last post and currently the IC is in open time for anyone to discuss stuff.

But of course, I can imagine that the daily pull into life can be quite busy as I myself have been quite busy these past weeks.

If you don't have any ideas of what your character may say, its fine. I don't want you all to feel you have to make a post to everything if feeling uncertain of a post in a current situation. This is why I like to stick to the rule of me waiting 7 days before I try making another post to push the story along. The silence for over 2 weeks was what made me just check in to see if you all were doing okay and were still interested. So if most of you want me to simply try to push the story a bit further to help with the ideas for posts, then I will try to see what I can do depending on the situation.

Its okay. Work and life stuff have been busy on my end to, so please don't feel rush if you got other things to attend to.

If you all want to discuss who to distribute the loot, you can do it in the OOC than IC. Additionally, if you all want to simply discuss and state having a short and long rest here, that is fine too as I would imagine our characters to briefly go over that decision. To help the pace of the RP, these two points will go forward for when ever anyone wants to distribute loot or group decide to take a rest.

To learn the properties of a magical item, you must cast the identfy spell on it or if you take at least a short rest with a item that requires attunement you will learn its properties.

Once you all feel like taking a short or long rest, just let me know when and I will transition the IC to after the rest.

I say we take a longrest and secure the fortress while we can. We'll leave once we're rested regardless of what time of day it is. As for the loot, Orchid would want to at least collect on her payment, and take the magic glaive. Finally she'll take a potion of heroism and potion of healing, and she'll be good for loot.

What was Tenkern Swiggin like exactly? Was he nice? Was he nasty? Did he ever mention where his family lived?

Also, would an arcana check of 11 offer any clues about the magical cloak?
