Really sorry for going radio silent folks. Definitely still here, and working up the next post. School got a little hectic for a couple weeks there. Probably not tomorrow night, but before the weekend!

Way too short a post for a month in between, but I thought it was more important to get one done ASAP than try and get back into my groove first.

Can't say how sorry I am that it took so long but I am definitely still here. My semester's accelerated due to the pandemic so I got walloped by about a month worth of compressed work and exams, and I still have two weeks to go. But I've mostly got my feet under me again so I won't be falling off the radar again any time soon.

On a more serious note, it's glad to hear from ya. I wish you the best of luck in finishing your requirements. I'll try to get a post out sometime soon, but I'll need a bit of time to reacquaint myself with the setting and the characters, heh.

Fun fact: There is very little need for sound proofing a mech cockpit if its intended for space. So this would probably be the first time Halim would have had to dealt with the noise of his own guns...if the mechanoids hadn't basically deafened him for the duration of this fight.

Also, I hope Volana has time between her life and death struggle to appreciates his /awful/ piloting on the surface.

Tldr: The baby is having a bad time and wants to go back to space.
