Mia was speechless. How could something that cute be that vile. Children could be bad but this one was really something special. If he was a child that is. The chibi race option was after all still on the table. Either way the kid really had it coming. Could he be any more insensitive if he tried? She had half a mind to try and test that. Fortunately she knew better, for the time being anyway.

Her eyes passed down to the unconscious girl in her arms. "What hell did they pluck you from? And what did he say to get you to go off like that?" She wasn't any more, more like confused...

What was she even supposed to feel in this situation. Just this morning her main concern was if she'd have enough time to shower after loosing her fight to still catch the finals. And now she was trapped in "totally not hell" with a bunch of aliens half of whom had impossible biologies and all of whom were seemingly intent on testing if they could our couldn't die here.

As if it even mattered at this point. *sigh* "Some times it gets really hard to wear this smile."

Still things were looking up. The supposed Kai woke up and was answering questions. And for their part the gang had decided it was time to take a break from killing each other just long enough to bury the poor girl under them. And for once answers were forthcoming, such as they were. And they were grim.

As the conversation began going Mia slowly stood up and approached. It was not very far at all but she took every step calmly and with intent. And whilst the smile on her face had not faded her eyes bore a stare of determination that could make the dead stand up and listen. Hope was a fickle thing, and right now she didn't have much of it. But at the idea of doing something, anything at this point, was enough to get her energized.

"I'm sorry for that, I honestly am." The words echoed in her head as she finally decided it was time for her outdoor voice.
"Well I am not. What you're saying is that out there somewhere there is god knows how worlds all of whom have a ME in them. And someone is going around blowing those worlds up just so he can kill all those other MEs and yous and yous." She said, turning her heads to the others.

"Now I don't know about you all but as far as I am concerned killing ME is not a very nice thing to do. And I am just about ready for some payback." As she spoke this her eyes turned taking a deliberate stare into each and every one of their eyes.

"Now can someone please do something about our pink friend here? She burned out on kayoken and unless we find a way to recharge her she'll spend the next couple days sleeping. And, as unladylike it is from me to say this she's not as light as she looks."

Maize

It seemed that no matter what two things would always be true from this moment forward. Maize and Velona would never be able to finish a conversation and everyone's automatic reaction to anything is to fight. She didn't have much room to judge considering that was the first thing she did upon her arrival, but in her defense she was saving someone's life. Maize watched as the scene unfolded and despite everything that was going on she was excited to find out that the other Saiyan had also accessed their transformation, but it seems she was only able to recently. Maybe she could help her train and master it. That is if they didn't all kill each other first.

When Velona asked for her and Ovaan's aid she offered it and was at the ready, but Velona was able to de-escalate the situation without their help. But they did get to witness Yaksha getting choked, which she was sure a few others wanted to do themselves. Herself included. One thing he said did catch her attention though. A magical dragon with the ability to grant wishes once you had a collection of balls. Her crew lingered in her mind and the thought of bringing them back with a wish, but unfortunately for her the aforementioned balls were broken. But maybe there were others in some of the other universes.

The other Saiyan introduced herself as Tabaga but with such a cheery expression that made her almost seem crazy considering how she was only a few seconds ago. Maize's attention drifted towards the slime robot man who introduced himself as Titanius and asked the question that had been on her mind for a while. That blindfold and her confidence to approach strong fighters made Velona quite the curious creature.

While she waited for a response she listened to the Supreme Kai reveal the reality of their situation. They weren't brought here to be heroes, they were here because someone or something out there was specifically targeting them across the multiverse. But why them? She couldn't see any reason for them tracking her down in her timeline. What were the alternate versions of herself up to that put her on this kind of radar? She was enjoying life with her crew and traveling through space. She even saved her galaxy from two despots. Life really couldn't have been better for her and yet it had to be uprooted because there was a multiversal bounty on her head. It seemed that she wasn't the only one with similar sentiments. Velona's unnamed travel companion spoke up and announced she was ready for some payback and Maize couldn't agree more.

She punched her fist into her palm partially to catch everyone's attention, but mostly for her own motivation. "Whatever this mission is tomorrow is I accept it if it means I get to put these universe erasers six feet under my feet." She paused for a moment thinking about the request to help out with the unconscious Majin. It was kind of her fault she was in that state. "Also, if anyone's willing to spare their energy I can help out our pink friend there."

Mia took a glance at the Sayan girl, than the one in her arms and back at Maize, hear head bobbing slightly as she did. Her mind was full of questions. What different species were each of the two even? Where did they come from? Why could one use the sacred kayoken technique and the other change hair color on a whim? Was the later something racial? And what conditioner does one even use for a tail?

All these and many more would need to be answered. For now though she had to provide an answer of her own:
"You can use mine." She said calmly. "Just don't use too much and knock me out. I want to have a chat with pinkie once this is done."

"Pinkie... that nickname is going to stick", she thought to her self.
"Name is Mia by the way. Nice to meet you."

Tabaga, as it turned out her name was, decided to calm down and didn't seem to plan on taking advantage of Velona's offer... which was fine by her, because after watching her nearly snap Yaksha's neck, she wasn't sure she wanted to be alone with the woman. She was well aware saiyans could be brutal, but this one was just a hair too unpredictable and far stronger than what she was used to.

So instead, she simply took a step back and nodded in acknowledgement once introductions were out of the way. There would not, however, be any time to try and make sense of things. It seemed she had made herself the object of attention for at least some of those present.

"No, I-" She stuttered at Titanius's bluntly stated question. "It's... cultural." It sounded so strange to say it out loud. Or rather, it sounded wrong. Blinding oneself culturally? She'd been around enough to know that something being cultural didn't make it good or sensible. Simply putting it that way wouldn't quite get the full story across -- rather they'd no doubt think her people were stupid.

Then again, considering what had become of them...

They hadn't set events into motion, but they'd certainly sealed their own fate.

She took a breath to calm herself once more, "My kind used to be very aggressive. We found covering our eyes to help with that." She kept it short and simple for now. She could explain more later if they wanted her to, but she wasn't really in the mood to say more than that for now.

Meanwhile, the Kai's interrogation of Tabaga had continued and reached a conclusion: Tabaga's universe still remained. It was also suggested that hers was the only one of all of them. An intrusive thought sprouted at this revelation.

"What makes her so lucky?"

A slight tightening of Velona's lips was the only indication that anything had really crossed her mind at that moment. She felt guilty right away. It was clear enough that, universe or not, Tabaga wasn't much luckier than the rest of them. She'd had her share of suffering all the same. It didn't mean she had anything to really return to.

And now they were being assigned missions. Were they to just... obey this Kai? Then again, what else was there for them to do? If she wanted answers, this was probably her best bet.

So be it, then.

"Very well..." She uttered quietly. After that, attention shifted to revitalizing the pink one who didn't have horns and had nearly melted her face off. She... wasn't thrilled with the idea, but Maize had already proven herself capable of keeping her in check, so... if this being was another one of them, plucked from a universe on the verge of annihilation, then hopefully she'd proved to be an ally if she could stay calm.

She lifted a hand, and a few reddish sparks danced across her fingers. It seemed that she still had a half-respectable reservoir of energy. Aside from the one incident, she hadn't been put under much strain since awakening, so she wasn't feeling exhausted. To say she was feeling perky, however, would have been pushing it. A lot. "I can help as well, if you're worried, Mia." Finally had that name squared away. "No need for you to be exhausted if she lashes out again."

The last thing Mia needed was to be dead on her feet in the strange being was still angry. Then someone's face might actually be melted. And, quite frankly, Velona had the feeling her energy would be better off in Maize's hands...

Maize

Maize was satisfied for now once she overheard Velona's answer to the question about her blindfold. This wasn't really the time or place to dig any further and she had a job to do. Mia had officially introduced herself and offered her energy. Velona offered hers soon after selflessly doing so to make sure Mia isn't completely drained in the process. That was admirable, but it wasn't exactly what Maize was focusing on. She was focused more on the nature of her ki. The reddish sparks were both beautiful and elegant as they danced across her fingers.

She snapped back into focus realizing she was almost trapped in mesmerization. "Thank you and it's nice to meet you as well. Just reach your hand out to me and I'll handle the rest." Velona was already doing so, so all she had to do was wait for Mia to do so as well. Once she did she reached her own hand out to touch Pinkie. She'd likely call her that as well until she awoke and revealed her actual name. Maize sensed the world around her feeling the different variations of ki gathered together. She then pinpointed on the two sources next to her. From Mia she could tell that the manipulation of ki and fighting were in her blood. Similar in a way to Saiyans, but not nearly as aggressive. She felt a somewhat balanced nature with a spark of hyperactivity. Her ki was pulled inside Maize and then redirected into Pinkie as if they were performing a ki transfusion.

Next was Velona's ki. Hers was truly interesting. It reminded her a bit of her own electric techniques, but more natural as if that was the true nature of her ki. The feel of her ki made her even more of a fascinating person to Maize. She sensed deeper and could feel the aggression she mentioned, but it was almost as if it were being hidden or locked away. Just what kind of people were her species? She decided not to worry about that now and focused more on what she was doing. The two opposing natures of ki continued to pull inside Maize before transferring to the hopefully not for long unconscious Pinkie.

Maize would keep an eye on the two's energy and would stop drawing from Mia first as Velona already offered to give up more of hers.

Yaksha rolled his eyes upon hearing the exchange following the Kai's explanation. He could not make heads out of tails with these people. After kicking and roughousing, they were best friends now? I guess that was probably the Saiyan influence in the whole group. He grimaced upon hearing the suggestion the slightly less lunatic saiyan woman suggested. Ki energy transfer? On Majin Buu's kin? She could just sleep it off and be as fit as a fiddle next morning.

Then again she could just hibernate like the other Majin Buu met, in which case she would be a sitting duck. Messing the hair out of the back of his head he addressed the Saiyan who was doing the energy transfer trick.

"Enough. This is a kinswoman of Majin Buu, not some random galactic race. Her ilk in other universes is one of the few things Freeza stays away from. It is leagues above the Super Saiyan legend. You are going to need more than just that, and draining these two ladies might not even be enough to rouse this ... individual." Yaksha said, breathing deep. He lingered on the sensation.

He was finally powering up for good.

"How...many...taboos did you break, human? You can't possibly be this strong!" The demon king turned Majin said.

"Not...enough..." The resolute survivor replied, slaying the mighty being with his own infernal sword. He breathed deep, and wiped the blood out of his brow. Two other monsters remained. Not enough allies were alive. Majin Freeza and Majin Buu were certainly on the prowl.

He flexed and stretched his hand. The last time he had been like this, he had matched blow for blow Dabura, one of Babidi's strongest henchmen. Flickers of the perfected Kamui Kaioken could be seen faintly.

"Go on." He said, offering his Ki as well. "I can provide this much at the very least."

Majin Eve

As energy was shared to Eve, her unconscious mind began to stir.

'You have to stop Moro, or all is lost... You're our only hope...'

The Majin's brows twitched ever so slightly as she was held in Mai's arms, the faint echoes of memories flowing through her thoughts.

'Hehehehe... What's this? Something the Kais' chewed up and spat out in desperation?'

Her fingers twitched, her head slowly turning. Her brows were furrowed.

"Wont... Let you..."

'Do you honestly think you've any chance at defeating me?'

"C-Cant..."

The Majin's lips trembled, her hand talking hold of Mai's clothing, gripping onto it tightly, the fabric groaning in protest.

'You're abilities could prove useful, serve me and we may rule the universe.'

"Never..."

The small spark that was the Majin's energy slowly began to grow as other's energy was given.

'No! NO!! NOOO!!!'

As her energy grew from what was given, her own energy began to return to her, quickly increasing, rapidly returning to Eve's base level of power.

'Help me!'

In Mai's arms Majin Eve became outlined with pink light as her energy began to raise past her base's resting level.

'Eve!'

While out cold in Mai's arms, intense wind began to emit from the Majin.

HAHAHAHAHA!

Eve's blazing pink aura burst from her being, the ground trembling in response. Mai would be blown back from the energy output as the Majin was now standing upright, her eyes still closed while her aura burned around her.

"Moro..."

Her voice was horse, it dripped of venom, the Majin's hands were clenched shut as she stood still. In her mind she was standing in a black void, with the goat mage standing before her with a smug smile upon his lips.

'Well, what are you waiting for? I'm standing before you. Go ahead. Struggle to your hearts content.'

She was facing towards Yaksha, brows furrowed, but didn't move.

'What's the matter? Where's that determination?'

The goat alien's grin grew viciously.

'Or, have you finally realized that it's pointless to resist...'

Eve's power continued to increase, now gritting her teeth.

'The Kais are dead... You aren't strong enough to harm let alone defeat me... You're all by yourself, you've failed.'

Eve's power fluctuated suddenly, it seemed to want to keep growing, but was now struggling to do so.

'And now you've only two choices left.'

Moro smiled menacingly at Eve.

'Be alone forever. Or serve me.'

"I-I..."

The intense look on the Majin then faltered, her furrowed brows upturning as she took a step back from Yaksha as her power plummeted back to it's resting base level.

'Hmp, so be it.'

Moro turned away from Eve and walked off into the void, leaving her alone. She hesitantly raised a hand out for Moro, but dared not call out to him. As he faded into the dark, she stood still, looking down. The Majin's aura calmed down, simmering out of existence until everything was calm again. Slowly her eyes began to open, and the first thing she seen was Yaksha. She blinked, confused.

"A mortal?..."

She brought a hand up to her eyes and gave them a rub before looking around.

"Mortals?..."

She then spotted the supreme Kai of time and her eyes widened in surprise.

"Eh?... EHH?!"

Steam briefly puffed from the holes on her arms as she tried to wrap her head around what was going on, having next to no recollection of what happened before she got here. Moro was gone, she buried the Kais, and she was the last one in her universe. So why were their Mortals and a Kai here if Moro had killed them all? And how and why was she here? Why was she having the biggest sense of deja vu right now?

"Um... Can someone please tell me what's going on?..."

She asked timidly, her brows upturned, a small frown on her as she rubbed her hair.

He remained silent after being given his answer. He closed his eyes, effectively muting the rest of the world so he could think to himself. Something about the answer was just... well, it rubbed him the wrong way, so to speak. So what if they were spared from being destroyed along with their Universe, what were they supposed to do here, then? Just wait to die of starvation or of old age? What kind of "salvation" was that? And besides that, a large part of Ovaan would have preferred to stay and die with his men. Go down with the ship, as it were. That at least would have been a presumably quicker and more painless end. But instead he was being sentenced to live out the rest of however much of his life remained here in a destroyed city with just these individuals as the only company to be had?

His face scrunched a bit with disgust. He suddenly like he'd abandoned all of his men to die while he escaped to some other world like a coward. He had crossed his arms by this point, and even his right hand's fingers clutched his left forearm tightly out of his own frustration. Was this really it? Was there really nothing else? No, no he refused to believe that. Even if this Kai believed there was no hope, Ovaan refused to just accept that. He'd fight this fate, even alone if he had to. And whatever was doing this killed him in the end? Then so be it. At least he actually tried.

All this thinking, and he had missed a large portion of the conversation. He paid attention again in time to hear the Kai declare that there may be hope after all and that they would have a new mission to undergo in the morning. At this, Ovaan breathed a small sigh of relief. Good, he was right after all, it seemed. They were going to do something about this, after all. He felt a tiny bit if vindication - albeit in a more roundabout matter.

"Supplies, you say?" he asked the Supreme Kai, who had noted a building in the distance that she said may contain surviving gear and supplies, "Very well, then, I may be allowed to excuse myself? I seem to be in the market for a new Scouter, as it were." he gave an irritated glance at the small pile of ash and wires that had once been his previous Scouter. He gave a short bow and then slowly lifted himself into the air with the intent to fly away. He paused, however, when part of another conversation had caught his attention.

"Her ilk in other universes is one of the few things Freeza stays away from. It is leagues above the Super Saiyan legend."

It was the seeming young boy. And by "her ilk" he was apparently referring to the unconscious pink one. Something that even Freeza feared? It hardly seemed possible. The Freeza that Ovaan had known did not seem to fear anything at all. Or if there had been something he feared, he did a thorough job of keeping such rumor and information hidden from even his own officers. But then there was that other thing the boy mentioned. At long last, Ovaan gave a small bit of input.

"Super what?" he asked, eyebrow raised, "Saiyan... was it? And what pray tell, is a Saiyan, exactly? And why would Freeza ever feel the need to fear either of these things?" his tone was completely genuine, confirming that he was not being coy in any way. This had legitimately intrigued him and piqued his curiosity. It would also confirm to everyone there that Saiyans apparently did not exist in the universe that Ovaan had come from.

That was intense. Mia had seen energy transfers before but only once and only as an observer. Having now taken part in one she could genuinely say that they were a good thing and they needed to be done more often. Next time though she had to be on the receiving end. And there would be a next time. There WOULD be a next time. Even if she had to get her self close to death to do it. Like, seriously, it was no wonder people got addicted to this stuff.

Thankfully for everyone involved and her future prospects her thoughts were stirred from this new and exciting experience by the pink girl who, after nearly burning her way through her clothes woke up, plopped to the ground and promptly started asking questions. Questions that she decided to try and answer.

"Well.... seems the story is there isn't just one world but like a whole lot of them. Like a LOT. And some of those other worlds, not all, have us in them. Only it's not the same us but different us that are us but aren't us but like not 'us' us but other us. If you get what I am saying."

She spoke the last two sentences fairly quickly in a single long breath stopping only at the end to catch a new one.

"Anyway, Kai here tells us that someone is going through all these universes looking for those where they can find one or more of us and than blowing them up. All to kill us presumably."

"Only this time round Kai managed to pluck us, and I mean the real us this time, away before we all got blasted into atoms or something. I am not sure how this stuff works really."

She stopped here taking a glance at everyone immediately around here checking to see if there is anything she missed. Having received no immediate interruption she continued.

"Anyway, while you were sleeping we all had a chat and decided this all was fairly mean and uncalled for and that we weren't going to stand for it. So tomorrow we are going off to try and do something about it."

"Oh", she paused at the end. "and apparently this kid thinks you are some sort of supersayan legend thing which I guess means you should be incredibly powerful or something. So you are definitively invited."

"Now", she turned to the others "if that's all, I belie we were hitting what's left of this city up for some shopping. Hopefully we'll find something left of the mall."

Maize

Out of everyone present Yaksha was the last one Maize would've expected to offer their help. At first she assumed he stepped up to tell her that their efforts were useless or that she was a potentially dangerous source of evil. Things like that she'd bet on coming out of his mouth. But it goes to show that even imps can surprise you. His remark on Pinkie's power and that it even exceeded her own Super Saiyan form intrigued her. Her inner Saiyan was tingling in excitement at the thought of having an all-out battle against her to see if she really lived up to Yaksha's praise. But for now she had to focus on getting her to wake up.

Maize could feel Yaksha's power grow rather sharply and the intensity of it reminded her of the Kaioken technique that surprised her earlier. But beyond that she could feel the nature of his ki. It was old. Like really old, but there was an element of refinement to it. As if it's been carefully cultivated over a very, very long journey. He clearly wasn't just some child. It made her wonder just what he had gone through in his life. She pooled his ki in with the others and poured the mixture into their pink friend as she pondered this.

Maize noticed her unconscious stirs and realized that it was working. She continued to do her job and could feel the energy inside of her continue to grow. She wasn't sure that she had a limit. When the energy expelled from her body Maize ended the energy transfer and pulled her arms to her face to protect herself from the force of wind formed in response. Was she going to start attacking blindly again? Much to her relief and slight disappointment that wasn't the case this time. She opened her eyes and started to see her reality. The immediate chaos surrounding their situation was finally done with.

She was prepared to give another recap when Pinkie started asking questions, but fortunately Mia had it covered, but she herself was still rather confused. Both she and Ovaan seemed to be unaware of what a Super Saiyan or a Saiyan for that matter was. She sighed and turned towards them.

She stood fiercely and said, "Our pink friend here isn't a Super Saiyan. This is a Super Saiyan." She flexed both her muscles and power causing an aura of golden fire-like energy to envelop her. "With this power I was able to kill Frieza and his father and free my galaxy from their tyranny. It's the power he feared enough to destroy a whole planet of people over. And this... is a normal Saiyan." She inhaled and exhaled slowly fading out of her form as she did so. Her yellow spiky hair returned to her short, black hue. Her eyes, once green, were now back to their normal shade of brown. Her tail also reverting from golden yellow to brown.

Majin Eve

The Majin didn't really seem to understand the situation, but she'd find peace in the fact that the Supreme Kai wasn't in immediate danger. At Mai saying something about Eve's power being incredibly powerful she let out a dying chuckle.

"Not powerful enough..."

The Majin spoke her thoughts quietly, a little bitterness in her tone before looking to Maize when the Saiyan flexed their power, Eve closed one of her eyes, otherwise not to bothered by the power on display, almost as if she couldn't sense it. Her eyes then opened wide in awe as she watched the mortal's hair go from gold to black.

"Whoa..."

She smiled, her mind momentarily taken off the fate of her universe, of her failure.

"That's so cool!"

Eve said with a big childish smile, her eyes sparkling at Maize.

"How'd you do that?! Can I do that?! Can you teach me how to do that?! I wanna do that!"

She said with admiration, almost bouncing on her feet with ecstatic energy.

This day was getting weirder by the moment. As her new comrade? flicked her superpower on and off like a switch Mia couldn't help but watch in amazement even as her horns flickered on and off irately like a confused light bulb. Just what the hell was that? Some sort of power amplification technique no doubt. But it was different than any she'd ever seen.

Unlike her own kayoken which drew on inner reserves essentially trading endurance for a short term burst of energy this strength seem to come out of nowhere. Was it being absorbed from the environment? Mia sensed nothing change in her surroundings. So that can't be it. Could it be that the power was always there, inside of her, and that this was simply some sort of limit remover or gear change? Certainly possible.

Mia had heard of such powers before, and in her own people as well. But she had newer seen anyone actually do it. Or did she? The way the Sayans aura changed as she powered up, the way her ki flickered through the air, even her rising hair all felt so familiar. And yet hard as she might try she could conjure up no memories of ever witnessing such a thing. Or could she?

Thing was that whilst she could really not remember oddly enough the very attempt, the very act of trying to identify that familiar feeling made her feel uneasy and uncomfortable, almost as if she was trying to push through something she really shouldn't. She felt the same way when trying to remember the much of this morning actually. Just what the hell happened there? And just how were the two related? These questions needed answering eventually but not today.

Still at least the concept was not unknown to her. For long ago her master spoke of such techniques when describing the ancient warlords which once ruled her world. His words echoed in her mind still: "That way lies great power, tiz true. But you must not seek it. For there lies only misery and great evil. So stick to the purity of kayoken and forget about it."

"Odd", Mia thought to her self. "This girl didn't look evil." She didn't feel evil either. "Could the old man have been wrong?" Than again, she is a primate that walked upright and could talk so nature and reality were clearly doing something interesting when they made her. Still, if that sort of power was really possible for her to achieve she would have to be careful.

For better or worse the old man always proved right in the end...

Maize

Maize was taken aback by Pinkie's sudden burst of excitement. It was something that she wasn't used to. Her friends tended to be cheery and enthusiastic, but this was more on a childlike level. In a way it was adorable, but she wouldn't admit to that. But she had a problem. She didn't know exactly how to break it down to her that she couldn't do this. She wasn't sure what she was, but she knew that she wasn't a Saiyan. But that didn't mean her own species didn't have some method of transformation. Even Zarbon's race had their own. She had also encountered another race of people with a similar transformation to her own. In that moment she eyed the green one who had still yet to introduce himself. She wondered if he had the same ability as the one she fought.

Maize turned her attention back to inquisitive one before her. "I'm not sure it's something I can teach you. I'm not super clear on the facts of it, but it was a legend of my people. You have to be a Saiyan to do this, but I think it's possible you have a transformation of your own. You just gotta grow stronger and dig deep. Once you do that come fight me." She wasn't sure if she would be able to find her own transformation, but if she did she was excited to see what it would be and how much stronger she'd get. Despite not actually believing in the possibility the thought of Pinkie getting stronger made Maize pumped and motivated to train and push past her limits as well. Then she'd be able to show Yaksha which legend Frieza should've feared more. The Super Saiyan or the Majin.

Majin Eve

The Majin blinked a few times, a slight frown growing on her with what she heard, a little disappointed. So just because she wasn't a Saiyan she couldn't change her hair color? She stared blankly in a moment of realization, it made sense in a way, looking at the mortal before her, their hair and skin were different colors, transformations aside. Yet her own hair and skin were hard to tell apart, one in the same. If she was able to transform like the mortal before her, would just her tentacles change color or would her entire body change color?

Picturing herself as any other color than pink, be it gold or blue, red or white, the image didn't make sense in her head, she was pink. She had a chuckle to herself. She smiled happily, listening to Maize, at the idea of her having her own transformation, she raised a curious brow, her mind wondering what such a transformation would look like. The Kaioken didn't count as a transformation did it? It turned her aura from pink to red, her skin taking on a red tint to it.

Eve briefly gave it a thought before letting it fade as Maize finished speaking.

'You just gotta grow stronger and dig deep.'

The Majin looked puzzled for a moment, grow stronger? She could get stronger? And dig where?

'Once you do that come fight me.'

The puzzlement faded that moment as her mind derailed.

"Eh?"

The mortal wanted her to fight them? Why? The Kais only wanted her to fight Moro, they never said anything about fighting mortals. She felt a little conflicted at the idea, not sure what to make of it. She didn't like fighting Moro, would it feel the same fighting someone else? or could fighting someone else be fun? She didn't have a way to tell. She smiled a little nervously to the Saiyan, giving the a small nod.

"Okay..."

Eve said, her voice unsure, timid, but her smile showing she was willing to give it a try when the time came. She glanced over to the Supreme Kai, her posture relaxing a little, their was a faint look of hurt in her eyes but she held her smile as she wandered into her thoughts.

'Moro's not here, you're safe for now Supreme Kai... And if he shows his goat mug around here, I'll do everything I can to protect you... I promise...'

At that moment the Majin felt something, sort of empty, she looked to her stomach as it lightly grumbled. She looked to the others, mortals needed to eat right?

"Anyone hungry?"

Eve asked with a smile.

Time-Skip.
The Next Day

The Supreme Kai of Time had studied what limited information she had been able to acquire about the universe Tabaga was from and she was starting to see how it could diverge so drastically from what she considered the normal series of events. For instance, there was no King Cold, no Frieza, no Cooler. No Frieza force at all to destroy certain civilizations or keep other civilizations from advancing too far. The more she learned from the Dimensional scanner, the more she was starting to understand why Tabaga seemed so mentally unstable. These saiyans were similar to many other versions of the saiyans but they were somewhat less vicious but no less proud. They had prided themselves on being fair to all those in their empire but they had also failed to protect those in their empire and had been beaten again and again over ten years of war against whoever the black armored troopers were. It was no wonder Tabaga was less than mentally sound after all that.

Ten years...I don't understand why they spent ten years trying to eradicate all life in Tabaga's home universe when they could have just wiped out her universe and move onto the next. The fact that whoever this mysterious foe was had been around for nearly ten years alarmed the Kai. How many more universes have been destroyed that we don't know about?

What made her reality different? Was it possible that there was something in her universe that these invaders had wanted for themselves? Something that had allowed them to move whatever plans they had at a much faster pace? Or was it something else? The Kai couldn't figure it out and had spent most of the night trying to do so. She was dead tired at the moment but she knew she had no choice but to continue at this point.

Information first. Sleep later.

She stepped out of the Time nest and looked out across Conton City. It was still a wasteland but today it seemed a bit...brighter than it had yesterday. After a few minutes of walking she found herself out in front of the ruins of the Academy and she smiled slightly. She had many good memories here of watching the newer Time Patrollers learn the basics of what they were expected to do.

Cheering... the crowd was cheering as a blast of energy ripped through the smooth concrete that made up the arena floor. A moment sooner and the champion would have taken it on the chest. But as it stood he moved effortlessly out of the way leaving the dark purplish ray of light to pass safely into the ground behind him.

"Not bad. But you'll have to move faster to hit me."

The old devil was right. Well, old might not have been the best name for it. But that's what everyone called him for he had been fighting and wining since before a lot of them were born. The world champion was in truth a man in his fifties. Tall, handsome and built like a god with a pair of forward curving horns polished to reflect every speck of light pointing calmly at his opponent. Not that calm was on offer today.

Not waiting for a reply he lunged forward unleashing his ki into a devastating blade like strike. But the alien was too fast. Just as the champion before him he moved out of the way effortlessly letting the attack fly past before responding with a swift kick which it self was dodged.

The crowd was loving the display and so was Mia. She sat there, smiling, her eyes transfixed by the flurry of motions most of the crowd could barely see. The old man was amazing. The movement of his body, the way his puffed up hair seemingly on his own to evade the strikes it all spoke of a grace and prowess few were able to achieve. Even the thick mustache curving like a black centipede around his mouth seemed to have a life of its own. Mia sincerely hoped that she would look half as good when she reached his age.

"Why are you really here? You are holding back on something." Words followed by a flying fist.
"Don't play dumb." The alien chucked even as he stepped out the way of the attack.
"You Oni didn't really think you could hide here?"
A dozen more blows followed.
"We... are... not... hiding." The champions responding cutting as he did in with a strike between each word.
"So you really don't know than? A pity...."
"You'll just have to die stupid than."

Mia woke up on the floor drenched in cold sweat. It took all of her strength not to scream even as the last memory of her dream faded away. She tried to grab onto the memory but couldn't. And it was gone.

Angrily she looked around the small room she was in to find something to smash before, having found nothing she sat dejectedly on the pile of rubber training mats she called a bed. She needed a shower, and a hot meal. *sigh* And a hug...

Yesterday when they all left for the city she didn't really now what to do. The place was abandoned and demolished. And for all her cheerful talk of shopping before Mia was not exactly accustomed to looting through rubble left behind by the dead. And so whilst the others (hopefully) spent their time productively for a long while she just flew around aimlessly looking for something, anything really to catch her eye.

Eventually she found a sports supply store, or was it maybe a gym? Maybe both? The place had taken a blast during the invasion which shattered the glass and set most of everything that was flammable inside ablaze. Still as much as it was a mess it felt just familiar enough for her to let her guard down and collapse in the supply room in the back.

What followed was a night of on and off sleep, tossing, turning and bouts of hunger quenched only by the occasional half scorched protein bar. At least the taste wasn't terrible.

Getting up from her makeshift bed the first the she noticed it was morning. The black clouds had lifted slightly allowing a single ray of sunlight to penetrate through the shattered glass and into the back. The second thing she noticed was her stomach. There had to be some decent food around here...

Under the first rays of the rising sun Mia made her way through the city streets quickly discovering she was in a residential district and deciding that the time had come to hit up the occasional shop which lay scattered about the place.

Quickly she had picked out a supermarket and found some canned food, which she ate cold managing to cut her self in the process followed soon thereafter by a capsule purse which she filled with cosmetics shamelessly pilfered from the discount isle. It wasn't the quality she was used to but neither was the meal, nor the mirror ripped off a wrecked automobile that she used as a compact to fix her hair. Just one more thing she would have to get used to.

A couple hours later she arrived at the agreed upon meeting place. Awake, fed and mostly presentable. And above all definitively up for some revenge.

After finding a rather secluded spot in a still mostly intact building, at least the best one he could find, Darbin found himself wondering how exactly he was going to deal with the situation at hand. Super Saiyans, robots that function as war machines, and other such nonsense was going to be something he would need to adjust to. All the same information was the key thing to look out for he had managed to fly under the radar for the moment choosing to keep quiet while the others talked, complained, or otherwise said nonsense to one another. To Darbin his mission had changed from conquering to returning home as quick as possible assuming it hadn't been annihilated. In truth he had quite expected a Namekian warrior to be here as well given the menagerie of weirdos assembled. But all in all it took only a moment to fully comprehend that he had to do what was in his best interest and that was to fix things so he himself wasn't wiped out. A man in his situation may wonder what happened to his team...it really didn't matter they were already on death's door he wondered how long it would take for this squad to squabble knowing the rather large differences in culture, and ways of doing things.

As Darbin awoke he discarded his destroyed armor, and decided the first course of action was to first find food, but that was likely up to the Kai to provide any real food here may have been lost to the attack. Second was to find information as such why not start at the school? He suspected that the others with some level intelligence may start there was well so after deciding on his destination he quickly charged off using his Ki to propel himself forward towards the Academy.

Maize

Maize was no stranger to the art of scavenging or pillaging through things left over by the dead. She was a Saiyan formerly of the Frieza's Empire. She never really had much interest in the things that was left behind, but maybe that'd be different this time around. She was in a different dimension being presided over by a god of time. When everyone split up to do their own thing she first decided to search for a place to more or less make hers for however long they were going to use this place as a base of operations.

She came across a small dome shaped house with part of the roof missing, but besides that was mostly in tact. It was perfect. As far as she was aware they were the only living creatures in this city and if it got cold overnight it wasn't a problem for her. The cold never bothered her anyway. She walked outside and death beamed the ground in front of the door leaving a sizable MAIZE emblazoned as a welcome mat and sign of ownership. "That should do it."

Feeling satisfied with that she went off in search of something she might actually want. She found some food that she wouldn't have to cook, some weird things called capsules, and a scouter. She didn't need the scouter, but figured that since they were going on a mission it'd be useful to have something to communicate with others when separated. She decided not to get some armor feeling that it reminded her too much of her time with the empire and that she honestly should have gotten rid of it a long time ago. It was time to move on from that chapter of her life and the armor was holding her back anyway. If her armor got hit then it only meant that she wasn't capable of dodging or stopping the attack and if she couldn't what would the armor do?

She was ready to call an end to her shopping trip when she quite literally stumbled across something that caught her attention. It was a sheathed sword. She didn't care much for weapons, but something interested her about this one. She felt almost drawn to it. She picked it up and placed it around her body before heading home. Once there she put everything away except for the sword. She wasn't tired yet and figured that she should train with it until she finally did or at least got a good handle on it.

Eventually morning came. Maize had spent about four hours training with the sword until she finally called it a night and went to bed. When she woke up she searched through the closet and found that a woman had lived here. She didn't really check out the house the night before. She found a bodysuit similar to hers except for the fact that it had legs. She'd have to cut those later, but for now it'll do. She placed it on the bed and washed herself of the stench of training from the night before. Once she got dressed she ate something quick and headed over to the Academy.

Majin Eve

Sleep, Eve had slept before, at least she thought she did. But she was told by the kais when they woke her that she had been asleep for millions of years inside her ball. This gave the Majin quite a few concerns as she watched the others wander off to find a place to rest. While everyone settled in for the night the djinn wandered throughout conton city, it certainly wasn't the nicest looking place, the damaged structures, scorch marks and piles of ash didn't do it any favors. About an hour had past while the others slept, the Majin was walking up the side of a building, looking at the ruined city, as she stood in place a part of the wall she stood on gave way, taking her with it.

Eve blinked before looking down, seeing the ground quickly approaching she hopped off the chunk of wall and watched it crash into the ground.

"This place is a mess..."

She rubbed her head with a small frown, the tragic appearance of the city certainly wasn't going to boost any moral. A thought came to mind and the majin smiled lightly. She floated down to the newly made rubble before holding her hand out to it. With a bit of focus it lifted off the ground and clumped together in a ball of debris, Eve's central head tentacle stretched and aimed at the debris before a pink beam fired from it, coating the debris in pink energy. The rubble then transformed into a blob of grey clay, the Majin smiled widely before she flew up to the spot on the building that had lost a part of itself, using the telekinetic hold she had on the claw she had it fly into place before she pat it down and molded it back into shape.

"Good as new!"

Eve said happily as she looked over her work, the color was a it off, but it looked like it'd hold strong, it was better than nothing. She then looked the rest of the city, some parts still had smoke coming from them. A glimmer shone in the Majin's eyes before she began her little project.

When daytime came, the Majin was sound asleep on top of the Academy, she had been up all night doing her best to clean and patch up conton city. Her eyes opened and she rubbed them, having slept for about an hour. Letting out a yawn she hopped to her feet and stretched before looking to the city before her, a smile growing on her.

"Hehe, yeah, much better."

The city and other areas around it, indeed looked to be in a better state, most of the damage had been fixed, though it definitely looked off as all damaged areas were patched up with grey hardened clay. Fires had been put out, piles of ash had been blown away. It looked rough, but otherwise okay. The clay should probably be replaced with something more structurally sound at some point, but it'd hold for the time being. Seeing two of the mortals she had met down below and the Supreme Kai. She smiled before sitting on the ledge of the Academy's roof, lightly kicking her feet.

"Good Morning!"

She called out, sounding in better spirits than the day before, giving a wave to Maize, Mia and the Kai. She looked to see Darbin arriving in the distance before looking down to the the other two on the academy grounds.

"I fixed the city!"

Eve said cheerfully holding her arms out above her in a 'tada!' fashion, smiling widely like a child who had made their parents a drawing which was then placed on the fridge. The Academy had damaged patches repaired with hardened clay, it didn't look pretty, but it did look better than before.

Titanius
[M-3]

Well it had been an eventful first meeting. Most of their universes had been obliterated by some unknown force except for the one saiyan's. Unfortunately this meant that his own universe had probably met the same fate and all his efforts to stop the machine mutant takeover were in vain, as everything was gone now. There was still a chance though his universe had survived, he had not seen conclusive evidence of its destruction yet but he was unsure if he should ask the Supreme Kai or not. His universe was quite resilient after all, between Dr. Myuu, the machine mutants, and other species there was a chance not all was lost, though small it was.

As everyone dispersed for the night for scavenging purposes and sleep preparations Titanius's mind was of course preoccupied with other data he had collected. Apparently the blindfold was 'cultural', quite interesting that a society would come up with blinding oneself and would require further study. The pink one had awoken and was quite the interesting alien, especially when the steam poofed out of the various holes in her body. Was the steam a way for her species to expel excess heat? Or perhaps an intimidation tactic of some kind? He would be certain to find out later.

While he had never seen a super saiyan before as one of the primary enemies in the machine mutant war he had extensive data on the race. A super saiyan had indeed appeared in his universe though he had never met them since he had been on the run for so long from Dr. Myuu; so unlike a lot of the other people present he was hardly surprised by her transformation. The thing that intrigued him the most was the flashing horn on the pink haired alien that seemed to respond to the Saiyan transformation. Was it some kind of warning signal? Did it have a purpose other than a glow? Titanius made sure to make a note of this oddity and to ask about it later.

For now he was content to let everyone do their own thing.

As there was no reason not to he decided to explore the ruins more thoroughly. Things such as food, and equipment were primary objectives with research being secondary. While he did not actually need food for survival he was still partly organic and could therefore process the nutrients and enjoy the taste of food, and as he had observed from many species, food tended to be quite a cultural thing and a bonding experience. As for equipment and technology, while they were mostly useless for him, most being incompatible with his systems, he could still deconstruct and extract useful materials and components.

After consuming some canned fruit and packaged nuts he had found in one of the ruined buildings, he made his way over to what appeared to be a plaza with a few smashed buildings around the circle, perhaps a gathering area of some sort. He proceeded to inspect the surroundings and found capsules, quite a few of them were still intact. Checking the contents he found various clothing, weapons, and some scouters. The clothing was of course useless to him, most of the armor was too weak to even serve as material replenishment, the scouters were a mixed bag. Most were incompatible and so he merely extracted any useful materials and discarded the rest, but one was actually compatible with his own machinery.

Wasting no time with this useful find he assimilated the scouter into his own body. His nanites quickly mapped out blueprints of the yellow tinted scouter as the device was absorbed into his body. While his sensors were quite advanced power level readings were not something Dr. Myuu had bothered to add, since power level readings were often faulty anyway as highly intelligent species often knew how to manipulate the results. While Titanius knew this he still added the option anyway in case for some reason an opponent could only be tracked by their power level and no other senses.

Titanius spent the rest of the night exploring the area, even the mountainous areas for anything of interest. While there were a few things of note, not too much especially peeked his interest, expect for what appeared to the ruins of a temple on one of the nearby mountains. But as there was no one to explain he did not have enough information to draw any conclusions for its use.

Eventually day came and ready to receive his next info dump rocketed toward their meeting place, the Academy. As he had gone father out than most others, he ended up being one of the last to arrive. Apparently quite a bit of repair work had been done to the area while he had been investigating the far out areas. The pink one appeared to be quite excited and seemed to indicate the repairs had been part of her work.

He alighted on top of the Academy with hardly a sound as he surveyed the repair work and noted who had already arrived. "Quite the impressive quantity of repair work. I assume this was your handiwork considering the rather large grin on your face?" While the repair work was a bit shoddy, the amount of work done by itself was quite impressive, he kind of wanted to make it not look like a mad doctor had patched everything back up together but that was not a high priority right now, information was first and foremost the most important commodity.
