Mia was speechless. How could something that cute be that vile. Children could be bad but this one was really something special. If he was a child that is. The chibi race option was after all still on the table. Either way the kid really had it coming. Could he be any more insensitive if he tried? She had half a mind to try and test that. Fortunately she knew better, for the time being anyway.
Her eyes passed down to the unconscious girl in her arms. "What hell did they pluck you from? And what did he say to get you to go off like that?" She wasn't any more, more like confused...
What was she even supposed to feel in this situation. Just this morning her main concern was if she'd have enough time to shower after loosing her fight to still catch the finals. And now she was trapped in "totally not hell" with a bunch of aliens half of whom had impossible biologies and all of whom were seemingly intent on testing if they could our couldn't die here.
As if it even mattered at this point. *sigh* "Some times it gets really hard to wear this smile."
Still things were looking up. The supposed Kai woke up and was answering questions. And for their part the gang had decided it was time to take a break from killing each other just long enough to bury the poor girl under them. And for once answers were forthcoming, such as they were. And they were grim.
As the conversation began going Mia slowly stood up and approached. It was not very far at all but she took every step calmly and with intent. And whilst the smile on her face had not faded her eyes bore a stare of determination that could make the dead stand up and listen. Hope was a fickle thing, and right now she didn't have much of it. But at the idea of doing something, anything at this point, was enough to get her energized.
"I'm sorry for that, I honestly am." The words echoed in her head as she finally decided it was time for her outdoor voice.
"Well I am not. What you're saying is that out there somewhere there is god knows how worlds all of whom have a ME in them. And someone is going around blowing those worlds up just so he can kill all those other MEs and yous and yous." She said, turning her heads to the others.
"Now I don't know about you all but as far as I am concerned killing ME is not a very nice thing to do. And I am just about ready for some payback." As she spoke this her eyes turned taking a deliberate stare into each and every one of their eyes.
"Now can someone please do something about our pink friend here? She burned out on kayoken and unless we find a way to recharge her she'll spend the next couple days sleeping. And, as unladylike it is from me to say this she's not as light as she looks."
