"Dexter was right—it is bigger than Suzaku," Shiranui said with awe, referring to the legendary Moltres he caught during his first run through Kanto. He boarded the taxi, planning to catch a Rookidee of his own.

Once everyone was on board, the taxi took off to Postwick. It eventually landed there. Liam decided first thing first was to stop at a Pokémon Center. They had a week to get there and register, so they had some time. Liam thought it would be best to keep an eye out for some catches along the way.

Chuck spent some time looking around, taking in the sights of the small town and it's neighbor, Wedgehurst, almost getting bowled over by a young man leaving his house in the process. "Whoa, sorry man!" the kid said, as Chuck helped him to his feet. "It's all good, you alright?" Chuck asked him. "Oh yeah, I'm fine! I'm just in a rush to get to the station because my brother should be arriving shortly, and he's horrible with directions. I'm Hop by the way." "Nice to meet you Hop, I'm Chuck. Seems like you're in a hurry, so I won't keep you." With that, Hop ran off towards the station, while Chuck made his way to the professor's lab.

Liam followed Chuck to Prof Magnolia's lab. Maybe she could help him with getting a Dynamax band.

Selina let them go off to the lab as it was not far. After waving goodbye to her uncle and Uther, before deciding to do some spy work, she knew their was a small shop owned by Mary Even's here and now that her sister had already attacked. It was more important now, Spira and Zerina would follow her as normal.

Jen and Aura had a good look around PostWick before she follow her friends to the Prof Magnoila’s lab to learn something new about Galar.

Shiranui did similarly to Jen in that he had a brief sightsee before following Liam, Jen and Chuck to the lab. He decided to leave the spying to Selina as he was not at all familiar with the Galar region as of yet.

The heroes reach Magnolia's Lab. Liam knocked on the door and heard some tipping. A red-haired girl answered the door. "Oh, it's you guys, Leon told my gran you might be coming by." She then introduced herself as "Sonia", and said that Prof Magnolia was her grandmother. She opened the door to let them in when a small dog-like Pokémon ran up and put his front legs upon each of the present heroes' legs one at a time.
"Oi! Yamper, stop that!" Sonia scolded.
Liam pulled out his Pokédex.

"Yamper, the Puppy Pokémon. An Electric Type. This Pokémon is very popular as a herding dog in the Galar region. As it runs, it generates electricity from the base of its tail. This gluttonous Pokémon only assists people with their work because it wants treats. As it runs, it crackles with electricity."

Once she got Yamper to settle down, Sonia led the heroes to the main sitting room where a lady was standing leaning on a cane decorated with what at what the quick glimpse Liam had seemed to be a Corviknight. The woman introduced herself as 'Prof Magnolia' and said that she studied the Dynamax Phenomena.
"I saw that you have experienced how it is to face Gigantamax Pokémon Champion Coleman," she said.
"Yeah, but what's the difference between 'Gigantamax' and 'Dynamax'? I've been hearing both terms." Liam inquired.
"Ah, this is easy to explain," Magnolia started. "Any Pokémon can Dynamax, but Giganatmax is even rarer. Only some Pokémon can do it like Leon's Charizard for instance." She explained.
"So Smaug can Gigantamax?" Liam asked.
"Not necessarily," Magnolia answered. "Even though Charizards have a Gigantamax form, not every Charizard can turn into it."
"So, what determines if a Pokémon that can Gigantamax is able to?" Liam asked.
"That is an answer for another time, dear Champion," Magnolia said with a coy smile. "Now, I hear through the grapevine that you youngins have received letters of recommendation to participate in the Galar Leauge, I also see that Champion Coleman has found himself a Scorbunny," She told the others to follow her and she'd show them some other starter Pokémon she has on hand. She also told them that she can have some Dynamax Bands made for them, but it would take a few days, and that she could send them to the Motostoke Pokémon Center when they are done, and that if it all works out right, they would be ready for the opening fesitivities.

"Can Pokemon Dynamax without a band, and can they do so outside of Galar?" Chuck asked, as he followed them into the room with the starter Pokemon, a small blue lizard-like Pokemon catching his eye.

"The only Pokémon I know that have Dynamaxed or Gigntamaxed without a band are wild Pokémon in Raid Battles," Magnolia answered. "Additionally, there has been no evidence that I've seen to show Dynamaxing happening outside of Spescic spots, called 'Power Spots' here in Galar." She replied.

"We would indeed like to have some Dynamax Bands if you don't mind," Shiranui requested. Yamper felt suspicious towards Shiranui because it thought it smelled its vulpine rivals, but the scent was off.

"I see." Chuck said, scratching his chin. Somehow his brother had managed to do what seems to be the impossible during their last battle.

“Can evil aura possessed a person from Dynamax band or stone?” Jen ask as Aura shoos Yamper away as it knows that Jen has treats in her bag. A strange looking green monkey sniffs Jen and starts to dance.

Shiranui noticed the green monkey and pulled his Rotom Phone out to scan it. "Grookey, the Chimp Pokémon. A Grass type. It attacks with rapid beats of its stick. As it strikes with amazing speed, it gets more and more pumped."

Chuck looked over at the little blue lizard and noticed it looked as if it was about to cry, so he gently waived it over. It cautiously approached him, sniffed his hand, then suddenly got happy and climbed up his arm to sit on his shoulder. "I guess Sobble really takes a liking to you." Sonia said with a giggle. Chuck pulled out his Pokedex to check it out. Sobble, the Water Lizard Pokemon. When scared, this Pokémon cries. Its tears pack the chemical punch of 100 onions, and attackers won't be able to resist weeping.

Shiranui smiled at Sobble taking a liking to Chuck until he felt something crawl up his back. Appearing upside-down in his face was another Sobble eating a Mystic Water Meringue that was part of the snack line invented by Chuck's parents. "Well, hello there, little one," he greeted, "Enjoying your little snack?" Sobble nodded with a look of enjoyment on its face. Pointing to Chuck's Sobble and then to itself, Sobble said something in its Poké-speech. Shiranui called Zoro out and had the Zoroark translate by conjuring some illusory Unown, reading, "THE SOBBLE THAT LIKES YOUR FRIEND WITH THE HAT IS MY TWIN
PLEASE TAKE ME SO WE CAN STILL BE TOGETHER
THANK YOU FOR THE TASTY FOOD!"
"You're welcome, Sobble," Shiranui replied, lifting the Sobble off his head and into his arms, "I'll be happy to take you along, on the condition that I give you a name." Sobble nodded in acceptance. "How's Sogekishu for a name?" Zoro whispered what the name meant in Sobble's ear and Sobble cheered. "Welcome to the team, Sogekishu," Shiranui finished.

Jen watch Grookey dance, “you are going to wear yourself out before the journey starts. Aura the Lucario can show you some dance moves l,” Jen daid as she picks up Grookey as the Grookey settles down then jumps onto Jen’s shoulder as Jen is thinking what name to name her Grookey.

Scorbunny had jumped down from Liam's shoulder into his bag and rustled around, leaping out with an empty Moon Ball in its shrunk form. It began kicking it around and playing with it, accidentally kicking it too hard and nearly missing Sogekishu. Liam scolded the Scorbunny and told it to be more careful and to apologize. Liam stopped and realized he forgot to decide if he wanted to give the Scorbunny a nickname, let alone confirm its gender. It was in fact male and Liam decided to call him Beckham, or maybe on occasion Beck for short.
"Scorbun-bun," Beckham said remorsefully toward the Sobble and Shirnanui.

Chuck thought for a bit and decided to name his own Sobble Bond.

"Sobble," Sogekishu replied, forgiving Beckham. Shiranui pet his new friend to keep him in a joyful mood.
