Jen names her Grookey Akamu Groot as Aura notices a design on her new friend and guess where her new friend hides his stick.

Magnolia told the heroes to go on toward Motostoke. She can make the bands and send them there to meet them.

"Sounds like a plan," replied Shiranui, keying Motostoke into his PokéNav app. The suggested route required them to catch a train from Wedgehurst to the Wild Area Station and make their way between Lakes Axewell and Miloch.

Another message would come though on Shinranui phone from Serina. "If you guys are done with Professor Magnolia, I've leaned some pretty intresting stuff from my time in Mary shop, meet me at the station and once we're in the wild area. I'll tell you what I learned. Rather not, have a load of people overhear us if possible" the message read.

"Guys, we have a rendezvous with Selina at the Wild Area Station," Shiranui informed.

Jen puts Akamu Groot into a Luxary ball, “let’s go.” Jen said as she and Aura are curious what information Selina has gather in Mary’s shop.

"Well then, let's not keep her waiting." Chuck said, gathering Bond's Pokeball and heading out the lab.

Shiranui gathered his new friend's Poké Ball, recalled Zoro and Sogekishu and exited the lab.

Jen and Aura make sure she have everything organized in her bag, then Jen and Aura exited the lab.

Liam thanked Prof Magnolia and Sonia for their time and left to head toward the Wild Area

When Shiranui entered Route 1 he was already seeing Wedgehurst on the horizon along with some Pokémon he was not familiar with from the grazing sheep-like Wooloo to the squirrel-like Skwovet. Stalking towards him was a Nickit and Shiranui on feeling a vibe dodged when Nickit struck and sent his new friend Sogekishu out. Both Pokémon were exchanging priority moves with Nickit using Quick Attack and Sogekishu using Aqua Jet and Nickit was getting exhausted. "Poké Ball, go!" Shiranui threw a Poké Ball at Nickit and the fox thief was drawn in. After three shakes the ball snapped shut and Shiranui had caught Nickit—his first capture in Galar. He named his sneaky new friend Zoku.

Shortly after, a Rookidee landed nearby after seeing the recent battle and Sogekishu struck with Aqua Jet, which landed a critical hit. Rookidee landed a Peck before Shiranui threw another Poké Ball. Like with Zoku before, the ball shook three times before snapping shut, gaining Shiranui the Rookidee he had wanted to catch. He named his new friend Kuuyu. "Well done, Sogekishu," he praised and the Sobble in question jumped for joy.

As Jen us waiting for Selina she watch Shiranui catch his first couple of Pokémon. Aura and Jen and Aura notices her and her Lucario. Akamu Groot pops out of kid Luxary ball, “Razor Leaf.” Jen said as her Grookey release razor sharp leaves at Nickiit tacking him down, Jen throws a pokeball at Nickit. A Yampver bites down hard on Akamu Groot’s arm as the Grookey pulls out his stickto wack the Yampver and Jen throws a pokeball to catch Yampver.

Jen rearange her Pokémon party as she and Aura picks up the pokeball in her bah as she praised Akamu Groot as her Grookey dances. Jen names the Yampver Rocket and name the Nickit Bandit. Aura looks at a Rookidee glarling at them the Lucario guess Jen batch a Rookidee later on during their journey through Galar.

As they were heading towards the station, Chuck decided to take a small detour to route 2 to check out the lake. When he arrived, he noticed an injured Lapras stuck on the beach and ran over to it. He approached her slowly, as she was hurt and scared and trying to get away from him, but when she saw he meant her no harm, she clamed a little. He checked out her injury and applied medicine to it, then with Hibiki and Omega's help, managed to push her back into the water. She looked at him, and began nuzzling him in thanks, but she didn't swim away, instead looked at him expectantly. Chuck pulled out a spare Pokeball and she got visibly happier, so he threw the Pokeball and captured the Lapras, naming her Nessie. Once that was settled, he rejoined the others at the station to head to the Wild Area.

Beckham was poised and ready for some battling. In his pep, he inadvertently kicked a rock into a Rookidee, angering it and making it cry for the rest of its flock. The Rookidee flock was accompanied by a larger, black bird as well.

"Rookdiee, the Tiny Bird Pokémon. A Flying-Type. Jumping nimbly about, this small-bodied Pokémon takes advantage of even the slightest opportunity to disorient larger opponents."

"Corvinight, the Raven Pokémon. a Flying and Steel-Type, and Rookidee's fully evolved form. This Pokémon reigns supreme in the skies of the Galar region. The black luster of its steel body could drive terror into the heart of any foe."

Beckham screamed in terror as he ran back toward his trainer and did a running slide between Liam's legs for hiding.
"Smaug! It's time to shine!" Liam called out his Charizard whose Roar frightened most of the Rookidee away, and more scattered when Smaug used Flamethrower on Corvinight. One Rookidee fell to the ground while the rest of the flock flew away in terror.

Liam ran over to check on the fallen Pokémon and he noticed it was an unusual color, much like Attrocitus and Sherlock, Liam's Gyrados and Alakazam respectively. It seemed as though it wasn't really hurt it just was frightened and fell to the ground. it sprang up and blinked wildly as its surroundings before flying off. It went to a tree on the edge of Liam's vision where Corvinight poked its head out, squawked at the Rookiedee and smacked it away with Steel Wing. Smaug swooped over and caught it and brought it back to Liam. The Rookidee had a bruise on it's head as it fought back tears from the pain.
While Liam was calming it down so he could look at it having pulled his first aid kit from his bag, Beckham was once again playing with empty balls from out of Liam's bag, accidentally kicking a Luxruy Ball at the Rookidiee. The yellow bird was sucked in and the ball shook three times before pinging shut.
"You don't see that every day," Liam commented as his Pokédex notified him about Rookidee being registered to it.

Shiranui ran over after seeing Smaug rescuing a Rookidee. He arrived when Beckham kicked a Luxury Ball at Rookidee. "Not the textbook way of catching a Pokémon," he quipped, "If Beckham wants to improve the accuracy of his kicks, I believe Kettobasu could provide some help." Kettobasu was Shiranui's Hitmonlee.

Jen and Aura runs over to Liamand Shiranui Serb eing Beckham throw a Luxary ball at a Rookidee. “Aura can help too,” Jen said as Aura nods. Akamu Groot is checking on a burnt feathers of a Rookidee.

"I guess we'll have to look into buying Beckham a ball to play with," Liam said.

"At his size you can try a baseball and after he evolves he can work his way up to soccer ball," Shiranui suggested, thinking a soccer ball is a bit big for a one-foot-tall rabbit.

“What happen to Selina, we were to meet her before the next town,” Jen ask before healing a burnt Rookidee? The Rookidee knocks some items out of Jen”# bag including Michiru’s ball that she play in the pool or the ocean.
