You will have to wait till it comes up in play. Essentially if you hear a name in play you get to see what your relationship to that person is.

Also somewhat belatedly, this is obviously an RP with mature themes. I won't be deliberately edgy but if anything that comes up is distressing to you please PM me and I will rewrite and retcon no questions asked. This is similar to the X card mechanic in most newer RPGS.

One of January's things allows him to choose someone who owes him at the the start of each session and learn a secret about them that they’d rather keep buried.

I have chosen to learn a secret about Anders.

Oh man, umm.... hmm. Since we don't have a plot really fleshed out yet it's hard for me to think of a good secret that won't potentially distract from the main story or be pointless. Just thinking out loud because it's gonna be a lame secret this early in the game... and because I'm not super creative ^^;

One of his secrets could be that his father (or some other close relative) is the leader of an eccentric religious group that seeks to obliterate lycans and werewolves. (So if he's asked to help get rid of them he'll just tuck his tail between his legs and run away.)

It is impossible to distract from the main plot because there is no main plot. The entire point of PbtA is to trick the players into making the plot for you.

@rush99999 Hard to make out through a door, but there aren't too many people left in the world who speak conversational Latin, most people sound like children learning their words to you.
