Yeah! I purposely left things kinda open so people could put themselves relatively wherever they wanted, though I suppose it could be sort of a double edged sword.

Let me know if you need any clarifications, but for the most part you're free to makeup whatever you want before the new crew orientation- I put Ingram and most of the squadron in the hangar as a sort of 'default' place to chill before the new pilots arrive.

Good to see the extra interest! My intention is to keep the party rather small, but I can always make exceptions for quality. Though I hate to rush people, I'll start getting us moving around the weekend, hopefully that gives people time for a few more intro posts!

Hey everybody, its been a bit quiet so I thought I'd ask this now before we continue moving on:

Are people still interested in this RP? I know we've sorta had a lot of stopping and starting prior to getting off the ground, so the momentum might've stalled. People's interests change, inspiration/motivation dies, its all typical Guild stuff. Part of me thinks a whole ass restart might be needed to get the steam flowing again. Anyway yeah, just thought I'd get everyone's general feel.

The posts have been very hard to write for. Thus far we've had to make our own start and Hawthorne left a closed question which gave us very little to work with for something of Advanced quantity. That said, I've actually got a post in a doc with me, Dino and Bazmund in it; we're just waiting for anyone else to post and we've been trying to pad it out but I can post it as is if you're not fussed about length.

I'm on the road until this evening, but I'm still interested. :D

I can easily roll with either posting or doing some sort of soft/hard restart.

I do think we need a bit more direction and a little bit more starting energy from our starter post, I won't lie. Especially with an established group that already know eachother, giving everyone time to sort of mill about IC and chat casually can be good - but with an unfamiliar group in an unfamiliar setting, I've always found it more effective to start with more focus. For example, it might be helpful for us to have started in the orientation session, with some time for us to react to it immediately after that post, and then something to kick the main plot along.

I wouldn't be opposed to a restart, if it leads to a more structured beginning. I'm still interested, but intro posts are always tough for me, and the fact that the beginning was very, very open actually hurts more than it helps. All that said, I feel like I have to get my 'hype thrusters' engaged whenever I need to write for this, and I do like our cast of characters in that regard.

That one's on me. I probably should've messaged you for a collab or something if I wanted that closed question resolved in a timely manner, so my bad. I just wanted to get a response out since I felt I was floundering about it for a while. I'll try not to let it happen again in the future.

Hey man, not your fault. If you want to hop in on this post and make it a collab DM me, I'll get you the link.

I'd prefer to avoid a restart if possible. If anything, a GM post/Ingram post would work better; like bazmund said, funnel people towards orientation. In that case I'd prefer to do a Collab with Hawthorne and get the property damage sorted out then move on with the RP.
