- Depiction in history Vlad III, ruler of Wallachia who truly existed in the 15th century. He was the hero that hold on to Wallachia's independence against the imminent threat of the Turks. He is also known as the shield of Christianity. For the sake of protecting Wallachia to the very end against the Turkish army, he is known for his severe conduct, such as bringing to justice the nobles who had ruined his domain and sentencing to death by impalement the twenty thousand Turkish enemy soldiers. Those are undeniably acts with the intention to protect his country, but due to its excessive brutality, he would later be be made as the model of the novelist Bram Stoker's horror novel "Dracula". To begin with, Dracula was a title he had appointed for himself, meaning "son of dragon". His father, Vlad II was a knight of the Order of the Dragon belonging to the Holy ROman Empire, and it is the origin of his self appointed title of Dracul. Count Vlad believes in the love for the Lord and amends injustice as his duty as a noble demands it. However, the feudal lords wallowing in the wealth of the privileged class dislike his honorable poverty, and so the military man who had protected Christianity fell by the hands of machination.

From the grounds of the surroundings, a countless number of spears grows and judge the enemy. A demonic torture castle (Drakulya) of iron hammer and curse, unleashed from the demonic spear. Because it targets every hostile enemy soldiers, it is a Noble Phantasm that shows its true value during battles of one-against-many. Perhaps due to its origin, it possesses the special characteristic of increasing the pain depending on the enemy's sins of depravity and immorality. Increases destructive power against target for purge; enemies who had comitted "desertion", "immorality", and "violence".
At the time Vlad III was alive, punishing commoners with impalement wasn’t unusual in the Balkan Peninsula and Northern Mediterranean Sea areas.
But then, after Vlad III took up the role as Wallachia’s lord and leader for the second time, he became fed up with the extreme corruption and depravity of the nobles in his country.
He decided that the decline of Wallachia was due to these nobles, and took decisive action against unprecedented numbers of them. His primary method of enforcement and punishment was impalement. In Wallachia, where nobles and commoners had previously been subject to very different treatment and rules, it’s presumed that Vlad’s actions were extremely shocking.
There was surely no one in the land who did not feel the severity and horror of Lord Vlad’s actions. After routing the nobles, impalement became Vlad’s favorite method of punishment, and in 1459 he even went so far as to impale the emissary of the Ottoman Empire (Turkish Empire) alive, among other deeds.

Magic Resistance(D (A)) - While Guan Yu's rank of Magic Resistance would typically rest at D rank, it has been altered by prolonged possession of the Frost-Fair Blade. Negates E, D, C and B ranked spells. Even A Rank spells will find it difficult to affect them. At this rank, the Servant is effectively impervious to modern magic; a true ‘Magus Killer’. It is now possible to resist a single command seal, but it requires immense amounts of concentration and willpower that leaves the Servant paralyzed in place until the magic of the seal runs out. That can potentially take hours.

- Self-Modification (Spear)(EX) - It is said that the Frost-Fair Blade was forged by Guan Yu's own hands. One day, he spied a green dragon sailing over the sky, where it made nest in a mountain. Guan Yu left that day, and slew the dragon, so that it might become the material for his new spear which would be the first Guandao. Whenever Guan Yu kills another being, he can take the remains of said individual and use that as the core of a new weapon. Should he kill another servant or monster, he can transform their existence into a new spear. The quality of the legend that he pulls the spear from determines the quality of the spear. This new spear becomes a noble phantasm, containing their truth within it.
- Dragon-Kind Modification (Spear)(C) - A dragon's core exists within Guan Yu's spear, the Frost-Fair Blade. While it has been degraded in the process of being forged into a spear, it is still the core of a dragon that draws in magical energy simply by breathing. As such, Guan Yu can draw in magical energy his spear generates. Though this process has an adverse affect on his psychology, causing him to become more violent as the dragon's spirit attempts to overwhelm his own.
- Bravery(A) - The ability to negate mental interference such as pressure, confusion and fascination. It also has the bonus effect of increasing melee damage. Not usable under the effects of Mad Enhancement. As the rank increases, the ability to resist mental interference as well as increase melee damage increases.

Title: Frost Fair Blade - Green Dragon Crescent Blade Rank: B NP Type: Anti-Army Range: 1~45 Maximum Number: 200 Description: The Frost Fair Blade was the guandao, wielded by Guan Yu. The Guandao was created when Guan Yu approached a smith requesting him to make a spear. A green dragon flew overhead while Guan Yu was having the blade made. He then went out and killed the dragon, and had its body used as materials for his new weapon. The core of the dragon was forged into his spear. During a battle in the snow, the blade became soaked in blood. Where the blood froze, becoming a thing layer of frost around the blade. The spear is noted as heaving a remarkable weight, which only Guan Yu was able to wield properly. While the weapon is traditionally wielded with both hands, Guan Yu can do so with one hand effortlessly.
A reality marble exists within the Frost-Fair Blade, as the still living core of the dragon beats within the spear. This marble represents the dragon's homeland, transforming the environment into a frozen wasteland. It is possible for Guan Yu to pull the frozen abyss out from the spear without releasing the reality marble. Simply coating whatever he strikes in a thick layer of frost, or releasing a chilling wind when he strikes.
The Frost-Fair Blade contains a frozen wasteland as a reality marble at its core. Whatever Guan Yu strikes with the blade becomes coated in a thick frost, reducing its power greatly. When Guan Yu wishes, he can release the chilling winds as a sort of dragon's breath, freezing everything before him in ice that can smother even flames from hell. Finally, by calling out the true name, Guan Yu can release a reality marble. The area is transformed into a frozen abyss, where no life can grow. Snow is said to fall perpetually, and all who fight there gradually succumb to its hellish environment. Only Guan Yu, who possesses the spear can survive. Even then, some say that Guan Yu seems to become less human the longer he stays there. Perhaps he becomes more and more like the dragon he slew to create the spear?
A young hero who is just starting his journey to reclaim his rightful throne on a ship that gathers heroes. This is the fabled Jason Lily, or so he tells himself.

Riding: A+ Can handle most vehicles and phantasmal beasts with ease, except those of the dragonkind. The skill improves when riding a ship, as expected of a legendary captain like Jason.
Magic Resistance: B As a hero of the golden age, and furthermore, as the husband to a witch. Jason has developed a resistance to all kinds of spells and sorceries. Cancels spells below three lines and in modern times only high level spells have a chance of affecting him.
ᴘᴇʀꜱᴏɴᴀʟ ꜱᴋɪʟʟꜱ
Faded Glory: C The captain will never forget the deeds of his crew, thus Jason -in nostalgia- will endeavor to find worthy new crewmates who can replicate their heroics. This skill allows Jason to imbue an actor with the precious memories of his crewmates, to allow them to replicate their skills.
Sadly this is merely an imitation, similar to projection magic, as Jason is merely recasting others into the roles of the friends he lost. In the end, no matter how much he tries to build up someone in his heart, they will never compare to the great hero he remembers so fondly.
Thus his illusions will fall to delusions when they fail to match his own memories. Needless to say, the body of a normal human will also break down long before they can ever match a hero, so this is a pointless endeavor twice over. Some roles are just too big to ever be filled.
In the end, all he can really do is rely on his own measly skills now that he has been abandoned by everyone. A degraded version of Astrapste Argos.
Eye of the Mind (True): C+ Age and many trials have granted this young man great wisdom befitting a true leader. No longer does that spark of brilliance only come in the moments of great danger, but now he can reliably plan his action to guarantee a chance of victory as long as it’s possible.
Of course old habits rarely die, so his vision sharpens just when the jaws of death are near and he has to run away. Old dogs might improve their tricks, but they still are dogs.

Argos Olethros The Brilliant Ship Rots into Ruin Rank: B (A+) Type: Anti-Army Number of Targets: 50 Range: 1-100
A legendary ship where many heroes gather. In the old days it could summon the old members of the Argonauts and even allow new members to join- empowering them with Jason’s legend to grant them a one rank stat bonus in battle.
Sadly those days are long gone, and all that is left is a ruined ship that is barely seaworthy. Not that it can do much without a great crew. But even if wrecked, the Argo is still a legendary vessel, it’s hull made of sturdy fig wood with a high armor class, and it’s long oars still allow it to sail fast. But in the end a ship is only as good as its captain, and a faded legend like Jason has little to contribute.
During a normal battle, Jason fights using the mast of the ship as a makeshift spear, using the cargo as obstacles or summoning the hull as a shield while he runs away. Shamefully, he is not as strong as his best friend to use the ship’s heavy anchor to crush his enemies; he should have lifted more weights with Chiron.
When activated, those on board become a part of the new Argonauts, and thus receive part of the remaining heroic karma that Jason has. Even if faded, the brand of the Argonauts is still one that is synonymous with heroes. New outstanding crewmates would help restore the Argo back into its prime, but poor ones strain the already damaged ship and cause it to rot faster.
Argos Finale Let all Grudges be a Knot to Spell the End Rank: B Type: Anti-Unit Number of Targets: 2 Range: 1-50
When nostalgia fades, one must wake up to face reality. Try as he might, Jason is no longer the young hero with the world in front of him, but instead a faded star with nothing but a rotten cursed ship and a knot to hang from. In the end, Jason’s tragic end being crushed by his ship is nothing new. Many legends have ended in tragedies across the ages, Jason’s is merely one amongst many. In that simple truth lies the nature of Jason’s true Noble Phantasm.
When activated the remains of the legendary ship fully rot, leaving only the prow which then forms a bounded field that traps Jason and his target. The grudges that Jason accumulated by the end of his life are released bringing the target enemy to meet their own tragic end.
In other words, Argos Finale is a hero erosion skill. Those inside plummet in their standing as a hero, falling from shining stars into flotsam that is mired by lankly seaweed and muddy waters. The greater the original status of the hero, the greater the fall. Even the greatest paragon that Rider considered his best friend would fall into a tragic and pitiful end as this curse exists as the ultimate rejection of the glory of heroes.
The only true way to escape is to break the initial bounded field with enough magical power, or to be a hero with such luck that they can avoid the curse. Needless to say, a shining hero that has never met tragedy would never be affected by this curse, but such a hero doesn’t exist to Jason.
During a normal battle, if Jason manages to hit his enemy with the remains of the Argo, the curse starts to accumulate and thus their status as a hero starts to slowly plummet. Divine protections fade, their weapons break, their skills rust, until only dust and ashes remain. Bit by bit they lose whatever shining glory they had, until they fall into the same deep ruin that Jason met at his end. Of course if one never was a proper hero, they have nothing to lose to this conceptual armament.
Bonus
Aggy
Because the prow is made of sacred wood, it houses a guardian spirit- Aggy- who provides good advice... which promptly goes ignored by Rider. In the end, no one wants a nagger by their side. She has been serving Jason throughout his whole life, as a faithful aide, and even in these final days when she is rotting and ruined she will stay by his side.
The magic accumulated inside the legendary ship allows Aggy to manifest as a wooden horse, based on a doll originally carved by a certain witch with a love for models. As a side note, she could have taken the form of a cute girl, but an idiot like Jason is not worthy of that.
Every year she won the vote for the most beloved Argonaut by a wide margin.

The Shesemu were a longstanding family within Atlas. While they were never on the level of Atlas’ Six Sources, they could be considered a step or two away from them. Originally, they were a family of traveling surgeons before finding a new purpose and home within the Titan’s Pit. The actual story here does not exist in any records, but there is little to assume anything notable occurred beyond this being the origin story for one of Atlas’ more prominent families.
The Shesemu spent generations attempting to appeal to the Six Sources. As the Six Sources explored the potential of the human body, the Shesemu worked with blood in an attempt to impress them. This striving towards achieving the greatness of Atlas’ greatest families ended when the family gave birth to a true genius, Mehi. Mehi was the genius of his generation with the ability to use up to seven partitions. His research in medicine and mathematics were groundbreaking at the time, on top of him pushing his family’s alchemy beyond what they ever believed possible. Mehi’s magnum opus was going to be revolutionary within Atlas. Yet, surprisingly, the day before he was able to unveil it, the current head of the Eltnam had presented it.
This was odd, as Mehi had shared none of it with anyone. In fact, it was in a field the Eltnam were not specialists in. Yet, miraculously, the Eltnam was able to copy his thesis and research perfectly. What transpired was obvious, of course. Using their Etherlite, the Eltnam stole his idea and the credit for it. The rumors of the Eltnam as vultures were completely true. They were abominations who pried into the minds of others, violating and stealing whatever they pleased. Truly, they were no better than the vampires which existed on the surface.
The illusion of the Six Sources grandeur had been smashed, with the Eltnam revealing themselves to be monsters. It was known that the Eltnam were this vile, yet the other families of Atlas did nothing to stop them. The Shesemu would no longer work to impress these jokes of Alchemists. Calling them openly antagonistic would be wrong, but the family’s policy had forever changed. If Atlas was a prison which locked both people and information inside, then the Shesemu would guard their knowledge better than the rest. No longer would they let the fruits of their research be taken. Mehi’s magnum opus had changed. Using his heart as the basis, Mehi would create the Mystic Code, Ma’at.
It is in this environment, namely one which hated the most influential family in Atlas, that Io was fostered in. Io’s brilliance shined at a young age, with her very quickly being hailed as the best head of the Shesemu since Mehi. Of course, as Io was raised to be a good little calculator, this attention meant nothing to her. Her goal as an alchemist was to avoid The End. From childhood Io consumed herself with nothing beyond what was needed to save the primates.
Of course, such a thing would very quickly break a few things. Only ever coming to the same conclusion, that of humanity’s destruction, would very quickly make those unprepared deranged. With her six partitions, Io got to see even more new and creative ways for humanity to stop existing. The very concept of Atlas was to crush oneself in order to hold up the world. It became increasingly likely that Io was to be another such casualty. However, there was one event that forever changed her.
The naming of the next Atlasia.
The next Atlasia was truly a genius, even if she was still a child. With seven partitions, it was not like Io could even form a logical argument as to why it should not be her. And yet, this was the greatest sin done to the Shesemu family since Mehi.
Sion ELTNAM Sokaris was to be the next Atlasia.
The current head of that cursed dynasty was to be the next director of Atlas. The last time an Eltnam was in that position, he went mad, became a Dead Apostle, and then became a force of nature. For the first time in her life, Io had an emotional reaction to something. The greatest danger to Atlas, therefore humanity, were the Eltnams, yet they kept receiving blessing after blessing.
Surprisingly, this had little to do with jealousy over the position. While Io was absolutely one of the modern geniuses of Atlas, she had no illusion she would be crowned Atlas. It was a game of politics, something the Shesemu had been hiding from since they were robbed. Io also wanted nothing to do with the role. It seemed like a role that would distract her from her work. What drove this was a general hatred of a family which went against everything both Magecraft and Atlas stood against.
This event broke something within Io far faster then endlessly predicting humanity’s doom ever would. As years passed, the constant ruminating on this Sion would get in the way of her research. Io went from nothing more than a calculator, to something which could express at least one emotion. It was that of hatred, but it was better than nothing. In fact, she became capable of two emotions when Sion became a wanted fugitive after a TATARI showing. This calculator experienced bliss, as finally, the Eltnam were getting their punishment.
And yet. . .that is not how it happened.
Despite being absent for three years, trading Atlas’ secrets, and becoming a wanted fugitive by both the Church and Atlas, Sion was allowed to return to her place as the next director.
This, of course, was the final straw for Io.
Time after time, the Eltnam were given special treatment. This cursed family continued to break rule after rule, but nothing was done. An illusion had been destroyed, that of Atlas’ supposed competency. If this was going to be a foolish institute run by the worst of them, then there was little point in staying. Escaping Atlas was an ordeal, but one she would strive towards. There was little to be gained remaining in this dump.
It took her several months of planning, but she eventually devised a method to escape the Titan’s Pit. It required an intense understanding of the security system, as well as an absurd amount of copies of herself created through her blood, but Io would finally taste the fresh air she had never done before.
Of course, Io would remain a wanted fugitive in the eyes of Atlas. It was unlikely that they would call in the Association at large, but to be sure, Io initially fled to Japan. While she was there, she befriended one of Japan’s most famous magi. The brunette found Io that her current approach to saving humanity was pointless, as only a human could save humanity.
Io, taking this about as literally as she metaphorically could, moved to Las Vegas. She learned from a brochure that this city was nicknamed “Sin City,” so Io believed that there was no better place to learn what it was like to be a Primate. And so, Io delved into everything the World of the Primates truly had. It was like a sheltered child unleashed onto an unsuspecting city.
She was kicked out of all the casinos on the strip within a week.
While those earnings were enough to let her live comfortably, Io wanted to try to live a normal life. Yet, instead of working as a waitress or something, she runs an illegal clinic out of her home. Her primary demographic are those without health insurance.
Io has had this life for roughly a decade now, meaning it has left an actual impression on her. While she wears a mask on some level, it can be said she has graduated from the status of calculator.
Now, if this graduation was a good thing is an entirely different debate. . .
The situation with the Holy Grail was something she had learned through some forums on the DarkWeb. With a little more search and some calculations, Io had figured out the general situation and status of things. The wish was fascinating, but she mostly just wanted to stop Anastasios Palaiologos. His ideal would surely spell the end of humanity, therefore it was her job to stop him..
Initially, Io was going to join the Red Team. However, there was a non-0% chance that someone from Atlas would partake. To avoid a dramatic team situation, she teamed up with Darnic. She actually holds almost no respect for Darnic, considering he was a politician before a magus. Unfortunately, it was the best outcome for her.

Atlas Alchemy (Blood): Despite sharing the same name as the Western tradition, Atlas Alchemy is fundamentally different. While the former focuses on the “transmutation of matter,” the Alchemy of Atlas focuses on the “transmutation of phenomena.” Unlike Western Alchemists, those within Atlas are closer to the original alchemists, the Egyptian Metallurgists who saw to transmute the Soul. Of course, such a thing is on the level of True Magic in the modern era. Instead, much more emphasis is on the “Mind.”
In particular, the Shesemu focus on this transmutation in regards to blood, and by extension, the heart. The heart, or Ib, was believed to contain one’s memory, will, intentions, sins, and thoughts. In essence, the Ib could be considered the “Mind.” For reference, the Ka was the “Soul” and the flesh was the “Body.”
Blood acts as a retainer of information. It is for this reason that Dead Apostles feast on the blood of the living. Their body is not held together by flesh and nerves, but the information provided by the blood of others It is this transmutation of information which exists in the blood that Io truly excels in. The editing of the information that makes up her blood can result in the recreation of shapes, forms, and phantasms. In her own hands, it is an extremely potent and dangerous tool.
Ancient Egyptian Surgery: Not an actual ability of magecraft, but a mundane skill which has reached a level on par with magecraft. Despite Egyptian society being among the first in human history, some of their earliest medical knowledge would not be rediscovered until the Greeks. There was little to no distinction between the physical and spiritual, as what was done to one was felt by the other. In order to cure the spiritual blight of the Heart, a physical surgery was performed on the vascular system in order to match it. It is techniques from this subset of medicine that Io is an expert in.
In essence, Io can edit the physical body enough to match an effect as though it was enacted on the spirit itself. For example, Io would deal with the infestation of Sakura Matou by physically removing the worms in her nervous system. This is as opposed to Kotomine, who accomplished it through the spiritual medium. Another example would be imitating a curse by mimicking the end result of it. Io could perform a surgery which would decrease the physical life of a target as if they had been cursed by a gandr.
Of course, it shouldn’t need to be said, but her mundane skills as a doctor and surgeon would put her among the greatest in the world.
Memory Partition and Thought Acceleration: The standard abilities of an Atlas Alchemist. Thought Acceleration can be considered an analogue to overclocking a human brian. Memory Partition is the ability to create multiple spaces and rooms within the brain. As one of the modern geniuses of Atlas, Io has a maximum of 6 partitions.
Mystic Codes:
Ma’at - That Which Must Never be Weighed: The result of a family scorn. The culmination of Shesemu's rage. A mystic code which was forged to prevent the family’s secrets from ever being stolen again. The lasting testament of the Shesemu’s hatred of the Eltnam, Ma’at. Ma’at, the feather of purity of Ancient Egypt, would be the concept for the undefiable future of the Shesemu.
Ma’at takes the form of a heart filled with the family’s rage. Literally, as it has been passed down to each head since its creation. As the heart acts as the center of the family, it is within it that the family’s secrets are kept. The accusations, fear, anger, and other negative emotions aimed at the Eltnam built up inside of the heart. In other words, it is a heart made up of Malignant Information, something which acts as a barrier to Etherlite. A user of etherlite who aimed to pry into the heart would quickly have their thought processes shut down, with the more unfortunate ones potentially dying. In this sense, it truly is the ultimate counter to the Eltnam’s thieving practices.
In many ways, it could be compared to the crests used by Western Magi.
The heart does have purposes beyond serving as a device to deny the Eltnam. The lingering computation power of the previous heads remained through each one, giving the heart an absurd processing power. This has granted the heart a processing power on par with a photonic crystal. It also pumps out more blood to replace any missing amounts. Most importantly however, is that it acts a quasi-familiar which syncs its existence within the owner of the heart. Once placed within, Ma’at becomes a part with its owner on all levels. The blood it pumps around the body becomes a part of Ma’at, therefore a part of Io’s existence as well. Even if her blood is to escape her body, it is still fundamentally a part of her.
Animo;Delere Replica: Animo;Delere was a weapon forged by the Shesemu family in the past. Its function was to release a “toxin” of spiritron hackers (slashers) which broke apart the information which put a person together. In essence, it distorted the information to make it impossible to be pieced back together, something akin to the bullet used by a certain magus killer. Effectively, it broke apart an existence and stopped it from being put back together.
...Unfortunately, the original was placed within Atlas’ vault and Io was unable to reclaim it before escaping.
Fortunately, she was able to make a replica. Now, while the original was able to completely change an existence in a strike, the same can not be said of the replica. The replica slowly shaves apart the information. With each wound, memories, beliefs, and even thinking ability is stripped away. Eventually, after enough attacks, the existence which once was will no longer remain.
The replica takes the form of a scythe.
Blood Flow Stimulant: A small pin which, when stabbed into one’s neck, causes blood in the body to move at an increased rate for a maximum of 5 minutes. The increased flow of blood allows Io an increase in strength, speed, stamina, and thinking speed. In exchange, she burns through nutrients at a much higher rate.
Grand Loaded Optimized Character Killer (G.L.O.C.K): Just a glock.
Mundane Skills:
Math: As a calculator from Atlas, Io’s skill at math would put leading mathematicians to shame.
Medicine: As a member of a family which once specialized in surgery, Io is proficiencent in all sorts of medicines.
Ancient Osirian Martial Arts: A system of martial arts based around fast lethal strikes. It also includes scythe techniques.
Marksmanship: A decade in America does things to you.
Computers: Considered running a computer repair shop before her clinic, but decided otherwise as the health industry made more money. They have done a few hacking missions for a secret three letter organization.

Their rivalry would lead to the two apprentices, both equals, competing for the right to obtain the Gae Bolg. This Ulster boy, Cu Chulainn, would prevail in earning the famed barbed spear, but not before making a vow of brotherhood with Ferdiad.
Ferdiad and Cu Chulainn both saw each other as rivals and the best of friends, practicing and sharing their every technique against each other during the span of their training. Their relationship was brotherly by nature, with Ferdiad seeing the younger warrior as a little brother. They even fought a war together as companions when a neighboring lord, Aife, attacked the Land of Shadows. At the end of their training, they had both chose to leave the Land of Shadows on the same day. At that moment, they both asked if they would be willing to join their neighboring countries instead of part ways. Realizing that such a thing wasn't an option to either of them, they laughed it off before leaving for their respective homes.
As the years passed, the next time Ferdiad would meet his foster-brother was not as friends, but as opponents in battle. Being forced to duel his best friend against his will due to the machinations of Queen Medb, the two had begun their bloody battle. For three days, in that ford, the champions of Ulster and Connacht would fight. While they were both great warriors whose prowess matched another in battle, neither of their hearts was into this forced conflict. They knew each other intimately, knowing how they fought and what their strengths and weaknesses were, but still found it difficult to end the battle outright. On the third day, Ferdiad had managed to gain the upper hand against his foster-brother due to his skin of horn. At that point, Cu Chulainn was forced to utilize his greatest weapon for the first time since he was given it, the cursed spear bestowed upon him by their master against his closest friend.
And so, Ferdiad's heart was struck by the killing curse of Gae Bolg, and his life would come to an end.
In his best friend's arms, Ferdiad looked up to his foster-brother. Despite all that has happened, despite being forced to fight each other to the death, all Ferdiad could feel about the situation was how proud he was of his foster-brother. At the moment of his death, he saw not an enemy warrior, nor the man who would kill him, but the shining Child of Light who had grown into a great hero. At the same time, he did not want his foster-brother to feel guilt for slaying him with the demonic spear entrusted to him in the Land of Shadows. As he made his final breathes, he gave his last farewell to his closest friend, his equal.
"Gae Bolg is a glory given to only the most gifted of warriors. In that brilliant hall of learning, you were our pride."
And so, Ferdiad had died a warrior's death against the worthiest of opponents. It was his way of life, his style of combat, and especially his dying words that left an impression on Cu Chulainn, who would live as a shining star of Ulster, a hero without regrets.

Ferdiad has no desire for the Grail. He had lived the life a warrior ought to live, dying to a worthy foe whilst serving his kingdom. To this end, he will follow the whims of his Master so long as he is able to fight once more, serving as his Master's spear just as he served as the Spear of Connacht. That said, Ferdiad does desire to find an opponent similar to his brother, wishing to face off against a true foe, another warrior that he could call his equal.

Battle Continuation: B The ability to continue fighting even after sustaining mortal wounds, while also reducing the mortality rate from injury. A skill that represents the ability and mentality to survive, the stubbornness of one who never knows when to give up. Having fought with his foster-brother for three full days, Ferdiad will not stop fighting until the very end. A product of his own endurance, bolstered by his resilient body.
Eye of the Mind (False): B The natural instincts of Ferdiad, refined through his training in the Land of Shadows. A danger-avoidance skill that allows one to deduce the best course of action and avoid lethal predicaments. Ferdiad's combat reflexes were on par with those of Cu Chulainn, matching the Hound of Ulster's beastlike fury with his own instincts as a warrior and deflecting all his attacks, even when Cu Chulainn entered his battle spasm. The ingenuity possessed by a human against a hero swelling with the blessings of the gods.
Rune Magecraft: B The ability to utilize Runes, the magic crest of Northern Europe. Ferdiad is capable of utilizing the 18 original Runes taught to him by the warrior woman Scathach. Well-versed in magecraft, Ferdiad utilizes his runes in the matter his master had intended him to, enchanting his spear and armor to supplement his fighting style, as he has no true weapon of his own. That said, Ferdiad does not possess the mentality of a magus, and as such does not utilize his runes as such. Through utilization, powerful and varied effects are accomplished. Aside from attacks, Ferdiad can grant himself skills such as Magic Resistance or Clairvoyance, can increase his parameters to Rank A, etc. These are only temporary applications, and he cannot employ multiples of the same effect simultaneously.

Title: Cnes Congna Horned Spear That Shields From Death Rank: C+ NP Type: Anti-Unit (Self) Range: 0 Maximum Number of Targets: 1 Description:
The skin of Ferdiad was said to be as tough as a beast's horn, where no blade could slice through it, nor can any spear pierce it. It was this sole condition that differentiated Ferdiad from his foster-brother, Cu Chulainn, in battle. Through the nature of his hardened skin, Ferdiad was able to match against Cu Chulainn's strongest attacks, going so far as to hold his own against the Hound of Ulster's warp spasm. A Noble Phantasm that allows one to "multiply the feats and deeds made by an opponent." It is Ferdiad's porcelain body that is capable of reflecting off the shining hero-light of Cu Chulainn, and it was only able to be pierced by Cu Chulainn's cursed spear, Gae Bolg, due to its very nature.
A Noble Phantasm encompassing Ferdiad's entire body, Cnes Congna protects all matter of attacks from piercing his skin. Effectively, Ferdiad's natural Armor Class is raised at a set amount equivalent to a defensive Noble Phantasm of a similar rank. Within a battle, Ferdiad's Armor Class increases based on a percentage of the damage his body takes, his skin getting tougher from consecutive blows. These attacks do not need to be against Ferdiad's skin directly so long as his body receives the force of the attack. With a skin that cannot be pierced through normal means, merely wounding Ferdiad is an ordeal all on its own. This defense only protects Ferdiad's skin, however, which means attacks and effects that strike him "from within his body" are incapable of being defended against.
Upon invocation, Ferdiad's skin obtains an ivory-white hue, appearing as incandescent as his foster-brother. Through the paradoxical nature of a beast's horn, a weapon meant purely to defend against attackers, Ferdiad's horn-skin is, itself, utilized as a weapon. Ferdiad's Armor Class is lowered to its base value and is incapable of being raised by the effects of Cnes Congna, alone. In exchange, Attack Power is increased to double the value of Ferdiad's Armor Class upon activation, multiplying his foes' attacks made against him. For a single turn, Ferdiad is able to turn the tides of a battle to his favor, ending a battle of attrition with a decisive blow. Due to the nature of this Noble Phantasm, Ferdiad is capable of invoking it even in the midst of combat and can activate it more than once due to its prana cost remaining the same during activation.
The signature Noble Phantasm of Ferdiad, who refers to himself as the Spear of Connacht due to his body having the properties of a beast's horn. Rather than the Noble Phantasm representing Ferdiad's impenetrable skin, it could be said that this also represents the entirety of his legend as a rival and equal to a great hero, and his will as a mere man facing off against a child of the gods. In other words, Cnes Congna could be said to be Ferdiad himself.

Title: Lance of Knowledge of Good and Evil Rank: A NP Type: Anti-Unit/Anti-Fortress Range: 1-99 Maximum Number 1-900 Description: Adam's Noble Phantasm is an odd one; it never existed in legends nor brought up in any of the scriptures. What it is could be described as the crystallization of the concept of spears, the concept of the weapon before it was ever given shape; the idea of something that could pierce and rend apart flesh while out of arms reach.
It takes the form of a translucent aura of blue energy in the shape of spear with a prominent blade. In actuality, Adam can create multiple of these spears at a time, varying in size, and even just shoot them as projectiles. When its true name isn't said, it is simply a spear with no special attributes except for being durable, but when its true name is said, it becomes the concept of piercing and rending. It bypasses the defenses of even the strongest Phantasms so the only way to protect one's self is to dodge only.
There isn't anything to connect Adam to lances or any kind of weapon as such within the sacred texts. While there could be logical conclusions that since the spear is the ancestral weapon of mankind and the first to be manufactured by man and Adam was the first to exist, perhaps he had used one to hunt. However, one must consider that Adam and Eve were cast out of Eden into a much malicious, cruel world of sin. The creation of the spear demands knowledge of pain and how it is inflicted, as well as knowledge of industry, neither of which was necessary in Eden's ever-giving paradise. Knowledge that had been obtained from the Fruit of Knowledge of Good and Evil considering the inherent evil of harming and kill another sentient being, something could only be accomplished by a weapon.
Title: Father of Man Rank: B NP Type: Self Range: 1 Maximum Number: 1 Description: The very concept of Adam being the first human is considered to be a mystery in it of itself. As a biblical figure and a creation of God, no one knows what he looks like and is constantly up to artistic interpretation. When activated, Adam will not actually change his appearance, but everyone who visually perceives him will see a different person. In fact, what each person sees is different. It also offers him temporary C-Class Concealment, but he can't use his other abilities until he dispels the Phantasm. If he were an Assassin, then the Concealment would be A-Class.
Title: Shroud of Yahweh Rank: A NP Type: Anti-Evil Range: 1-5 Maximum Number: 50 Description: A Divine Construct given to Adam and Eve by God himself for repenting their sins, it is a shroud of light. When its true name isn't said it appears simply as the white cloak that wards of evil spirits and protects him from attacks of those of the evil-alignment, but when activated it releases a radiant light that repels and burns foul sinners. Very effective against Apostles.
While given to him after his death, the fact that his legend puts so much importance on his repentance allows him to have access to the Shroud.
