@Crimson Lion
The outcome was... not surprising. Riku himself had all but predicted it moments ago with his remark about taking the Queen Mansa down with him. God Hand Mode was powerful, but it had a nasty side effect of burning through all his energy reserves. Even the gunpla itself hadn't escaped from this gambit undamaged. The increased stress created by God Hand Mode had caused some visual wear and tear, not to mention the heavy fall damage that came afterward. It was in rough shape. Scuffed and scraped all over, and one of its arms was mangled after having to bear the weight of the gunpla upon its crash landing.
"Still needs work." he whispered under his breath in a low voice. The Metal Angel had a lot of power to it, but severely lacked a good way to properly harness that power. Maybe it was the Titus model, unable to handle the stress of God Hand Mode? Or maybe it was just his own human limitation as a pilot that was holding the build back? Either way, the Metal Angel was far from perfected. And after this battle, Riku would even dare say it might need an outright overhaul.
"Hey!" he called out to Koga Kyo before she had a chance to leave yet, "Thanks for the fight, you were great out there. Battle me again sometime, won't you?" it wasn't often that he complimented his opponents, and even rarer that he would ask them to battle again in the future. He usually only did such a thing for the people who truly challenged him, and whom had earned his respect.
“Kusaka Riku right? My names Yukihiro Naoki and I’d like to talk with you, if you don’t mind that is.”
Uh oh. It was the staff member who had been giving the building classes. Had Riku broken a rule after all by switching his Gunpla? At the very least he could plead ignorance, "Is... this about my switching Gunplas? I didn't see anything in the rules against it so..." he said, attempting to explain himself.
