Personality ▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔ Shrewd︱Cautious︱Bitter︱Lost︱Temperamental︱Controlling︱Hardened
Jinaath has recently lost the last of his close connections, and is now left as a lone wanderer. He has enacted the vengeance he saw fit, and though it satisfied him, it also lost him his allies – criminal scum though they were. He has learned that it is possible to be betrayed even when you don’t personally trust someone, and that no matter how powerful, if the odds are too heavily against you, only loss awaits you. Though he has learned the limits of his current capabilities, Jin also became aware of the yet untapped potential he has. Now, he seeks both power and order, though he has no source but himself for the former nor a clear plan on how to obtain the latter. He has the vague idea that chaos could be quelled either by superior force or the finesse of manipulation, but doesn’t believe to possess either himself. As he has heard that both the Hutts and the Warlords in the north have managed it, he seeks to travel there, and learn how he – and any allies he manages to find – could do the same in the south.
He's quite a troubled, mistrustful individual. Jin is closed off, and isn’t sure he could form any genuine connections as he’s still reeling from his loss. He doesn’t see himself ever being able to feel or express that same warmth that family and friends brought him, and at the moment doesn’t want to do so in any case. However, he is aware he needs allies, and to forge his abilities so they will match his resolve. To do so, there is little he isn’t willing to do. He believes he’s been a victim of circumstances for too long, and partially due to his own inaction. Jinaath is now determined to be more proactive. At the same time, he is cautious as thoughtlessness on his part has led to disastrous consequences before.
Notable Skills ▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔ Force User. The most developed of Jin’s ability is of course his force sight. His reflexes, and maneuverability are also significantly and instinctively increased. He can heighten any of his other senses when necessary, and precognition enables him to function well in combat even though his skills there are still lacking in many areas. He has limited use of farsight. Jinaath has learned to parse basic emotions of others and can briefly persuade them to a course of action. Of the more active abilities, he is practiced in telekinesis and not much else. He has so far once activated force rage when his emotions overwhelmed him, but he’s not yet been able to replicate this despite attempting to.
Slicer. From bypassing locked doors, extracting and decoding protected information, to implanting viruses to destroy virtual defenses, Jin has become a deft hand at exploiting computer systems.
Saboteur. Throughout his criminal career, Jin has had to disable or destroy droids, power grids, vehicles, security systems, and even buildings. He has elementary skill with stealth, infiltration, explosives, and a rough but functional knowledge of technology.
Combatant. He’s proficient with a blaster and knows some basics of CQC, but he mostly relies on hit and run, distraction, evasion, and the force.

Jinaath Margri 20 Miraluka Force sensitive - Trained by a mentor and self-practiced.
|
Personal History ▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔ While born on Alpheridies, Jinaath has no memories of the Miraluka’s former home planet. But for him, home was Eriadu. Those first few years of his life, Jinaath spent among a small community of Miraluka refugees. As were all the children in their group, Jin was kept at home, collectively cared and taught by the adults. Though they’d brought their savings, and sold all they could, they lived fairly poorly in what were essentially the slums.
While Jinaath had a difficult childhood, it was not so much due to the Miraluka’s poverty or their isolation, but rather due to the Cacophony. He was a colicky infant, and a wailing child who was difficult to console. Though an elder Miraluka, Iolac, who’d been a member of the Luka Sene, detected the cause as Jin’s exceptional force sensitivity, it took several years of her guidance for Jinaath to become able to shut out the noise of the dying. Still, Jinaath did make fond memories of his home as well. He befriended a few Miraluka children, and got to know some refugees and locals. He enjoyed learning new things and exploring outside the limits of his community.
However, as conflict spread into the Mid and Outer Rims, their semi-peaceful life was disrupted. Their planet did not suffer the fate of outright destruction, but it was invaded, and the former fragile stability shattered readily. Whether native, refugee, or invader, the people’s loyalties splintered amongst several groups. Even their tight-knit Miraluka community lost its unity; some rushed to hire ships off the planet, others were killed for resisting those part of the attacking force, some were killed out of mere suspicion, and the remaining few submitted to whomever promised them safety in exchange for their loyalty.
Jin’s mentor and father were one of those killed, while his mother fell into the latter category. For the safety of her son, she bargained their lives to a local criminal organization, Houzran. A handful other Miraluka joined Houzran, but as they were relocated to the gang’s HQ, Jinaath didn’t see them as often as he used to. From then on, Jin did whatever the Houzran required – all for the sake of survival.
However, the Houzran eventually discovered Jinaath was a force sensitive. As he’d feared would happen, they began taking advantage of Jin, sending him on more dangerous missions, trying to use him as a super soldier against their enemies. Trouble was, that though trained, Jinaath wasn’t as all powerful as they imagined. That was how he got the scar across his face, in fact. The upper echelon gang members weren’t so much disappointed with his performance as they were greedy for more, and did all they could to incite him to be better. That is why they exploited his one treasure; his relationship with the Miraluka within Houzran.
Threatening his mother, friends, and only true allies did work, though not necessarily in the way the gangers imagined. Jinaath began sabotaging the Houzran when he could, and even killed a few gangers when he thought he could. Eventually, however, his recklessness got him caught. He was to be executed for his treason, though before they did so, his mother was brought there, and was killed before his eyes. And the bastards laughed as they did it. Laughed. They’d committed such atrocity, and it was not even out of anger, but as some sort of sick joke.
Never before had Jinaath experienced such wrath, such grief. His turmoil led him to draw upon the dark side of the force for the first time, and he felt so strongly that he entered a force rage. Jin freed himself, slayed every criminal in his way, and escaped. He operated solo for a short while, but with a bounty on his head, attempted to seek new allies. However, word had spread that he had gone mad, killed his mother and slayed countless ‘innocents’. No one wished to deal with such a maverick. Thus, Jin had no choice but to leave the planet, and become a refugee.
