Just got a day or two left of class work stuff to wrap up, will try to get something to you soon-ish. If I don't have the brainpower to get a proper sheet done in that time I'll just send you messy dot points over DM. Already got the broad strokes of my character worked out.
@SilverPaw So how big is one of these bad bois? And what's its power source? History itself is inoffensive enough that I've no problems with it though.
@Dog They can exist, yeah. You'll probably have to discuss the state of that particular Empire with your European and Middle Eastern neighbours though.
I’m tentatively interested:) Do we have leeway as to the statuses of other populations like in Polynesia or Oceania? Otherwise interested in creating someone from the Orient
@SgtEasy Polynesia is fine yeah. Australia is only mentioned in the crazed accounts of shipwreck survivors as a burning wasteland populated by incomprehensibly designed beasts.
@DogHrm, right now we have two Britains, a Russian, and a German. Doesn't actually seem like there's THAT much in the area of the Empire, so until further notice, I'd say you can have the Ottomans have what they wish, under the presumption that after the Scientific Revolution and the Futile War, the territories they've occupied were given more autonomy/independence.
Another question. How wild I can go with Technologism? I wish to be some form of a support person. I was thinking of something doing with providing energy shields to people.
Energy shields is a bit vague, but doable depending on the underlying concept. What energy specifically and how does it work as a shield? And the all important question: what does it run on?
@SilverPaw Hybrid fueling is fine. Steam gives generally lower output than electricity, but due to the Steam Core Formulization, is basically infinite power.

Here's my idea. The machine is powered by a big combustion turbine, fueled by oil/other hydrocarbons, that generates electricity - in which the electricity powers some form of shield-tech that makes solid light and projects said light onto others to protect them.

Nazca Whitehall. Adopted scion of renowned archaeology professor and adventurer Sir Henry Whitehall. Not much is known of her early childhood in the New World, but she is known to be a former member of the nobility or royalty in the Tlaxcala Confederation, a landlocked polity surrounded by the Aztec Empire. A country perpetually at war with the Aztecs, despite the alliance of Spain in the Futile War, the Tlaxcala suffered greatly in the aftermath of the conflict. Its existence suffers on as a limited rump state, buoyed by Spanish and Occidental trade.
Taken in by Sir Henry during his adventures to the New World in the aftermath of a severe defeat of her people, Nazca was raised under his tutelage in London. Although she already had an understanding and proficiency of her native manipulation of the wind before her adoption, she excelled and flourished as a technological polymath after receiving a western education.
Her specialization is unique in that it blends two distinct fields of study. Her use of Formulization revolves around creating convincing clockwork doppelgangers of a broad range of animals, wildlife, and utility, but particularly specializing on birds and insects, to scout and attack. She can either assume direct control of her constructs by radio or wire, or with programmed or preset commands. Her middling ability to manipulate the wind synergizes with her constructs in this manner by assisting their flight for more radical maneuvers-- and gives her the ability to defend herself at personal range with air-based attacks.
Ostensibly, she assists her adoptive father in unlocking the mysteries of artifacts and ruins around the world at the University of Oxford and his committees with the Royal Society, which, in fact, is the innocuous academy of sciences that everybody knows it as. Some within it, though, including her father, seem to have some unusual designs towards things lurking beneath the surface of ruins in the Mexican valley and other heritage sites around the world.
By dynamicism’s ability to control “energies”, does this pertain to the energies as defined in our physics? Like heat energy, kinetic energy, etc? So if someone was to be able to push or pull energy, if a mass was moving downwards towards Earth, could they forcibly convert potential gravitational energy into kinetic energy at a faster rate, thereby artificially accelerating the gravitational acceleration of that object?
Or in terms of thermodynamics, force the amount of energy inside the system, even if it goes against the laws of thermodynamics? Eg the ability to force an object’s temperature to absolute zero or make an object transfer heat energy to its surroundings even if the amount of heat energy within is lower than its surroundings?
Hybrid fueling is fine. Steam gives generally lower output than electricity, but due to the Steam Core Formulization, is basically infinite power.
Hm, hm. Does the electricity system have limits in reach? Cause I did consider getting the machine either underwater or actually flying eventually (depending on what we'll get to do in the rp, ofc).
