"I know it is a silly question, but it is important." Niah said. She took Oliver's hand and followed through the scanner. She didn't particularly want to risk if this version of her was trouble too. Or maybe she was innocent and showing up now got this world's version into trouble. "I'm glad they're both doing good." She added to Maria.

Niah was about to start explaining when Oliver couldn't turn solid again. She didn't know what to do. Her stomach dropped and despite all her 'I'm fine, not scared' posturing she was scared. She was scared of losing someone she...really...liked again. "Oli...please turn solid again." She held out her hand hoping he'd take it and be fine. If he was able to they'd get on the subway and it'd be fine, but those doors don't stay open long. No matter what she'd stay with Oli though, she would only get on the subway if he did.

Matt was listening to the conversation and it was starting to make sense. He didn't like what it all added up to though. He went through the scanner and followed Cass. "The subway tunnels might be a good idea actually. Getting on the subway and away from this stop sounds ideal for now. We definitely need to keep moving." He looked around hoping to find a secondary way through the situation if need be. Raynor's nervousness was wearing off on him, and he didn't get what Niah was getting at either, but she dropped it in favor of helping Oliver.

"If I know anything about New York subway trains it is get on the train ASAP." He said stepping onto the train joining Raynor. "We can worry about clothes and such when we get away from this location." He had never been a proper spy or anything like that, but he knew some of the protocols for being stuck in enemy territory. It would be good to follow those.

Celestine had been doing her best to decipher the rest of the message she had received via her helmets HUD while the others scrambled around her. She had not noticed that they were about to pass through the DNA scanners at the moment, her mind wandering on what she considered more important topics. "Ragnarok, doesn't that have something to do with the end of times in Norse Mythology? Pardon me, not mythology anymore with Thor and Loki around." said Celestine, mostly to herself as she tailed behind the rest of the squad. What finally broke her concentration was Oliver's idea, it was better than blindly marching through the scanners, so she agreed and reached out, taking the mans hand in her own. Celestine had personally not felt anything during or after, and the thought of if the attempt had been successful or not, crossed her mind.

"How do we know if that worked or not? Also, are you alright? You seem to be uh, more transparent? I'm guessing this is not a normal occurrence." observed The Blackbird of Chernobyl, taking a knee next to the man, but not getting close enough to accidently touching the afflicted individual. Celestines cyan eyes glanced back up and away from Oilver as she heard Cassandra mention her name and the fact that she was indeed a technopath. "A good idea Cassandra, I will return your tablet as soon as I am complete, I just hope this works." She swiftly took the tablet in both of her hands and focused her attention into it, and the surrounding technology to attempt to gather the requested information.

Oliver Sullivan

Subway
Skills: Molecular Oscillation

Oli looked at his shaking hands, and felt a kind of clear and curiosity that was quintessentially him. He knew this wasn't a good thing by any means, but god he wanted to know exactly what he body was doing to keep it in this state. If this was something he could turn on and off on a whim, it would be a strict improvement to his phasing abilities, but he could think about that all later. Right now he needed more specifics. Taking a slow step forward, the ground felt soft, but able to be traversed. He thought he could probably go through the ground if he wanted, but for now, he was tangible enough to walk.

Taking a breath and hold it, Oliver had an idea. He might be able to turn this off by oscillating his molecules back to the regular frequency. His body continued to shake for a few moments, before slowly evening out, and leaving Oli looking mostly normal. He knew though, that he was just barely holding onto tangibility. It was like he was phasing, but in reverse, and that wasn't great. Breathing out, Oli said, "Uh, I can travel for now, I feel like I'm one slip up away from going back to being a ghost though so... let's get somewhere we can plan and coordinate sooner rather than later."

Flynn sort of just shrugged a bit in response to Oliver's suggestion. Truthfully they were drawing attention to themselves no matter what they were doing, and so the idea of literally just holding hands and hoping that Oliver didn't screw things up and lead them through the scanners was probably not the strangest thing that they could be doing. Actually them literally standing there and doing nothing or messing with the scanners probably was something that likely would cause there to be more problems for them, so hopefully they could just move past this.

Of course, then Oliver ended up more or less stuck in his sort of phasing form, which meant that he probably would draw way more attention, well this was going swell. After a few moments, Oliver seemed to more or less get a handle on it, hopefully at least. "Just be careful about it," he commented with a bit of a shrug to Oliver. Of course, he was someone who for a while would randomly burst into flames which is why he more or less had clothes that were designed to be as fireproof as possible so that it didn't happen. When he saw that the train was there, he followed after the others and stepped on board of it.

Location: Subway

"Uh, okay Niah, if you think that it is important we can talk about it in a little bit... Still not sure what Novi has to do with anything though," she commented to her with a shrug as Oliver came up with a plan to more or less get everyone else through. Sparky wasn't too sure what sort of data that the scanners tracked aside from probably hooking into a criminal database or something, and probably being able to tell if someone was a mutant or not. That was all she could guess at this point, though Oliver not being able to become solid was beyond a bit strange, but he seemed to have a handle on it, for now.

She stuck close to Raynor though as everything started to move along and walked onto the train near him, waiting for the others to more or less all get on board at this point. "...Are you okay Ray?" she asked him softly, figuring that he probably wasn't and likely wouldn't really want to talk about it out loud with everyone else around. She didn't know what he had done or anything like that, but she didn't really care, since everyone deserved another chance, so if it was bad, it seemed like for the most part he had been trying to make up for it. At least for as long as she had known him.

EARTH 257 - 9:40 AM Nov. 13th, 2021 - Metro, the Iron

Raynor let out a bit of a weak, pathetic chuckle. "Good luck getting any clothes in the Iron without a chain code. They act like everything is cocaine or a bomb." He had never gone to the Iron before because he liked it there - he hated it. It was suffocating and the entire country made him feel caged. He didn't understand how anyone could stand to live there. He knew now that the things he had done weren't... great, but he wasn't entirely convinced they were wrong either. The Iron was all about control and taking away people's freedoms.

He rolled his eyes at Maria, not making another reply to her Star Wars reference comment. In his world, the main killer was called Luke Starkiller and had no connection to Darth Vader - it was basically an entirely different set of movies. Han Solo didn't even survive past the first one. He froze though as Celestine mentioned Ragnarok. It was the event that had killed his family and destroyed his world. The name Raynor had then used when he took out his pain on others.

Meanwhile, Bonnie couldn't help but notice how fearful Niah was for Oliver. It was concerning, Oliver suddenly having an issue with his phasing when he never had before - but a certain part of it was heartwarming, seeing how Niah was so clearly falling in love. She frowned, though, listening to Oliver's explanation that he was actively trying to be in phase with their world now. The beginnings of an idea on how to cure him were beginning to form in her head. "Hmm. I think if we can temporarily stop the source of your speed somehow, you should no longer have to fight to be in phase - since you're out of phase due to rapid oscillations..."

The easy solution would be to find some sort of inhibitor to give Oliver, only there was the problem as to whether or not 1) this world had inhibitors, 2) would one even work on Oliver, given his alien heritage, and 3) would he be able to remain in phase long enough for them to administer it.

Raynor looked down at Sparky, as she asked him quietly if he was okay. "Yeah, I'm fine," he lied softly.

"If ya need to go slow, maybe ya should go really fast first? Like sorta tire yourself out," Amelia suggested. "That's what my old mans used to do with me, if I was bouncing all over the place, they'd have me go run laps around outside until I puked and then I'd be curled up in front of the telly for a few hours before it started again." She didn't know much about the science of being an inhuman-alien hybrid thingy, but if he needed to slow down, maybe what was going on wasn't that different from a sugar high?

They were all on the train now and luckily (or not) they had the carriage to themselves. All the innocent bystanders wisely went into the other carriages to avoid them. A voice crackled over the intercom, announcing the next stop, as the train kicked into motion. The train was hurtling along and it would sound like raindrops were pounding down on the roof.

"Does it rain underground in your world too?" Amelia asked.

Seconds later, the carriage decoupled. The emergency exit hatch sprang open and down dropped, in a perfect superhero landing, a group of ten individuals in black Iron Man-esque armor. The leader's face shield popped up, revealing a familiar face. "Raynor Baldursen, Maria Novikova, Frederick Lensherr - you're under arrest for extreme acts of terrorism and violence. Any resistance will result in immediate termination... Nice work, Chase, Novastrov. Hayward'll be elated," the woman said. Unlike Cassandra, her accent wasn't British - it was American.

"Woah.... Doppelganger..."

Niah was relieved that Oli was able to turn solid, though his explanation made that relief short-lived. If he was only able to do it by concentrating... that was really bad. She chewed her lip thinking. They all got onto the train and it started hurdling to the next stop. Hurdling through a world they barely knew anything about. She wished her sister, specifically her sister, was here. Dalisy had been world-hopping since she had been re-written back into existence and she might have had a clue what was happening. Or better yet, could get them all back home in one piece. Maybe she could find this world's Dalisy...there was a whole lot of if's and maybe's in that thought process so she put it aside as a wild plan Z.

She was just about to turn to Sparky and continue explaining why she was trying to see if Novi had told her about what she had seen in House of M when the train's emergency exit was opened and an Iron-man-Esque suited - Cass joined them. Oh...no. Her stomach did a flip and she looked between the two Cass's the only difference, other than what they wore, was their accents. She held Oli's hand and pulled him a little, trying to put distance between them and the others. If they could pretend they weren't with the main group, and maybe just maybe slip away they could later rescue their friends. She didn't want to split them up, but it would be much better if part of the group was outside the hold of this world's Big Brother. She also didn't dare say anything afraid it would draw attention.

Matt who, for what it is worth, isn't dumb, but just over his head in this situation. Followed along with the much smarter rest of the team. He sort of had a grasp of what was going on now. But if he had been asked to explain it to a ten-year-old it would have been something like "well we got teleported to another world that was sort of like ours but not quite and my friends were actually wanted criminals".

He really didn't know what to think when Cass was there to arrest three members of the group...and congratulate two of them for their work in capturing them. It sort of hurt his head and at this point, he was decided he was just along for the ride. He'd punch or shoot if and when deemed necessary, otherwise, he'd let the heavy thinking be left to the professionals in the matter.

Cassandra Reed

Location: Times Square, Subway - Earth 257
Skills: N/A.

Cassandra looked towards Oliver for a moment and then over towards Bonnie she wasn't sure if inhibitors would work on him or not, she wasn't even sure if an inhibitor collar would fit on Oliver if he was constantly going in and out of phase. "We'll figure it out don't worry Oliver." Cass said as she got onto the train, and hear over the subway car's intercom where their next stop would be she didn't relax yet as she noticed the other pedestrians were leaving the car that they were in for others. She could hear something on the roof and looked towards Amelia. "I don't think thats rain at all." Cassandra said to her. She turned to Celestine who was still working on the tablet. "Keep working on that if you can, we may need that exit sooner rather than later."

When the emergency hatch opened several iron man eques armored figures landed into the subway car that they were in, and then their leader's faceplate was lifted up. It was like looking at herself through the mirror seeing the leader was indeed her was really weird as Cass took a step in front of her team. She wasn't sure if this reality version of her was a mutant or not as she looked at the rest of her team, she wasn't sure if talking would help or not. "I think there's a bit of a misunderstanding here, we aren't really from here." Cassandra said trying to sound as calm as possible it was really weird talking to herself this version of her was either a British-American or she was born and raised here.

Maria Novikova

Location: Times Square, Subway - Earth 257

Maria quickly got onto the subway with the others as she looked towards Raynor when he mentioned that the currency was something like chain-codes from Star Wars the Bad Batch. "Let me guess it was instituted by some guy named Admiral Rampart or something right?" Maria said jokingly as she felt the subway car moving forward and the announcement of their next stop would be. She started to relax somewhat as Maria looked over at Niah and Oliver seeing, she wanted to help but she wasnt sure if her powers would be of any help and she didn't want to end up killing Oliver on accident like she did with the skrull empress.

Maria instantly was on guard when she felt the subway car decouple and the emergency breaks quickly kicked in, and then several people in iron man suits dropped in. One of them addressing her, Raynor and Fred, quickly drawing her bow out and pointed it at the person until the faceplate was removed, revealing Cassandra's face. "Well looks like you got yourself a clone there Cass." Maria said looking over towards their own Cass, she still kept her bow pointed at Alternate Cass' chest mainly at the center of it. "Also you totally got the wrong Maria, my last name is Smith not Novikova." Maria said, going by her maiden name instead hopping that it would be convincing enough.

"Slight situation here friends, I can not get any clear information on the blueprints or even layout of the subway tunnels here via my data-pad. Does not seem like we will have any clear guidance on finding another way out of the tunnels." Commented Celestine calmly as she stepped onto the Subway train car, suddenly hit by an unexplained wave of nostalgia. "Perhaps this reminds me of the Subway station back in Russia? Oh, maybe it has to do with that trip I took with my family to Moscow." commented Celestine under her breath as she settled in for the ride that she assumed would hopefully only take a few moments. Her eyes caught the rest of the squad as they attempted to comfort Oliver who had apparently pulled himself together, looking a bit better from before. "Your looking better there Oliver, I am sure you will have yourself together here shortly." She said this with a nod of her head, and honesty behind the tone of her voice.

Glancing down at her Data-Pad, she scrolled through current news articles from this new world, pretending to pay attention to what she was reading but in truth, focusing intently on all happenings around her. "Anyone else find it just a bit odd or concerning that everyone is mass evacuating from this train car to the others?" Inquired Celestine through her helmets coms, though it most likely would have been fine if she said that through her helmet due to the fact that they were now alone. The gentle sound of what could have been rain drops falling upon the top of the train car drew her attention away from what she had been thinking, and her eyes swiftly glanced upward. "Does not sound like rain to me, could be pipes leaking but..." That sentence was not finished, for a group of ten individuals in black Iron Man-esque armor dropped through the emergency exit.

"Was only a matter of time I guess." Thought Celestine to herself as she stood up from her seat and moved to stand alongside the rest of her squad. The mention of three of her squamates being wanted for extreme acts of terrorism and violence was concerning to say the least, but what really worried her way the mention of her own last name. "I understand this may not be the best time to speak up, and I am most certainly not resisting, just merely wanting to help clear up any misunderstandings here. I heard the mention of the name Novastrov, which is actually my last name, and can prove it to be true if you would allow me to show you all my California identification card." commented Celestine in a calm and collected voice that held not hostility.

Oliver was barely able to keep himself solid, so he was devoting most of his mental energy and focus to not losing that. If only for Niah, he wanted to stay solid as long as possible. He nodded along to the different ideas for how to fix this, and neutralizing his powers for sure seemed like the best option. "We could also kill me." he said jokingly, and then continued, "Assuming we could bring me back right after, that would probably work to reset things too." He felt bad as soon as he said it, not wanting to trigger Niah, but that would actually probably work.

Once they got on the train, Oli was very nervous about losing focus. Getting split up was the worst thing they could do, and he was scared of phasing through the train itself. He was therefore, very concerned when when they were dropped in on from above. Blinking quite a lot as he looked between Casandra and her doppelganger, thinking they actually might have a shot at convincing her that way. Oli couldn't especially fight right now, given him barely being able to keep himself from phasing through solid matter, so he had to hope they could talk their way out of this.

The Iron or whatever country that they were in did not sound like a fun place. Actually it reminded him a bit of a book he read once in high school, but he figured that now wasn't a good time to really talk about that. Raynor clearly didn't like it here, and as much as he really didn't like the guy, based on the fact that he knew next to nothing about this world he was willing to trust him on it. There was a strange sound on the roof of the subway, almost like rain? That made no sense, since the train wasn't outside or anything, it was in a tunnel, so that sort of sound effect wouldn't make any sense. At least it didn't make sense until he saw what all was happening next.

When a group of people showed up in Iron Man suits, that was setting off red flags, not to mention the fact that the leader looked exactly like Cass. Uh oh, this was not good. However, it was the words out of her mouth that caused him to panic more than a bit. Based on the three names that she said, it was obvious that Frederick Lensherr referred to him. Lensherr was far from his last name, but it was the last name of Magneto. Who no one on the team (aside from Bonnie of course) knew was related to him. Sure, in HoM they were related and shown to be a part of the same family, but a lot of what happened there wasn't real. So there was only one person aside from him who knew, and he was remaining fairly silent, as his brain started racing along, and kind of panicking for once.

"Doesn't seem like you are... But okay..." she said softly to him, giving him a bit of a smile. He was a bit on edge, and based on the fact that he was back home for the first time in years, that wasn't all too surprising to her. Oliver seemed to be able to hold onto staying solid though, for the moment anyway, so that was also a good thing. The sounds of something on the top of the train distracted her from her mental thoughts though, and she was wondering what exactly was going on. The subway car made another sound, and she looked up at the hatch that opened as the group entered the train car right in front of them.

This was not good, and her eyes went a bit wide when the supposed leader of the group popped her mask off and revealed the familiar face of Cass. Uh, okay, they were in an alternate reality, so running into doppelgangers was a real possibility, but still, it was really weird to see one right in front of them. And she was one who clearly was wanting to arrest the others, and that annoyed her, and she glared at the other Cass, "I think you don't get what's going on here..." she muttered, and she was fighting off the urge to just fire off electricity already at her.

EARTH 257 - 9:50 AM Nov. 13th, 2021 - Metro, the Iron

The other!Cass paused for a moment, her eyebrows knitting together briefly, before she relaxed and just started to laugh. She wiped a stray tear from her eyes. "I think this clone you baked is defective, Chase," the other!Cass mused. "Knew you couldn't have been perfect. It's kind of a relief, actually." Her eyes then drifted over towards Sparky, a bit amused with the fire behind her. Ordinarily, she would've beaten anyone to talk to her that way, but she had her orders. For whatever reason, the Director didn't want this one brought in just yet.

"And of course it's your last name, did your brain blow a fuse or something, Novastrov?" Cass commented, laughing at her own joke. "Maybe you ought to let the mechanics take a look at you, change out your oil or something."

Bonnie had caught on, of course, thanks to her heightened intuition. This doppelganger seemed to trust only her and Celestine, as well as only singling out Maria, Raynor, and Flynn as criminals. The others could potentially get out of this, if they just slipped away quietly. "Cass, she's telling the truth. We're not from this world. We're here trying to apprehend two criminals - Luminous and Doctor Doom," Bonnie explained carefully, holding her hands out in front of her, her palms open. "Maria and Flynn aren't from here. They aren't the guilty ones." She couldn't say the same about Raynor. He was from this world. And from the way he was acting, he was incredibly guilty.

"Yeah, mate, it's all been fucking bonkers. There's so much tech stuff here it's making my head spin. But if we could, y'know, agent to agent, I'd LOVE to check out your planes and stuff. Maybe you could even help us catch our crooks that we're after? We're the good guys, really, and in those all black Iron Man uniforms you definitely don't look like villains or anything at all like that..." Amelia rambled. She noticed that Bonnie hadn't said anything to defend Raynor, but she assumed that Bonnie had just forgotten. The entire situation was super stressful - and weird. Mostly weird.

"Yeah, we aren't the--" Raynor said, beginning to lie, when a device sprang into the air. It looked like a mechanical spider or a crab. Its legs gripped around Raynor's head and he stumbled backwards, pulling at the contraption with his arms to try to get it off of him, but it only tightened its hold on the Asgardian. The more he struggled, the stronger it became - as if his own strength was serving as a power source. The body of the machine had effectively formed a muzzle or a gag around his mouth, preventing him from saying a single word.

"What the hell is that?!"

"Agent Hayward, should we call in a psych referral on Chase and Novastrov?" one of the goons asked.

"Yeah, seems like it," Cassandra Hayward replied, before flipping her visor down. "Now let's get to work. I love it when they resist." She kicked off, her suit propelling her forward as she slammed straight into Raynor's stomach, latching her arms around him. Or rather, that's what she wanted to do. Instead, Raynor dove out of the way just in time. One of the goons went in to pummel Raynor, only for Raynor to blast the goon with light, blinding him permanently despite his suit's protective visor. Raynor still couldn't speak but he pulled his dagger and stabbed through the visor, killing the man.

One of the goons went straight for Flynn, or rather, two of them did - one goon went on for a forward attack, while the other went at him from behind. The second goon managed to put a device on Flynn's left arm which paralyzed his left arm completely, embedding itself into his skin. To remove it without bleeding heavily would require a skilled doctor.

Maria had the worst luck of all. Seven goons went after her, all of them blasting repulsor blasts at her from essentially every possible angle, surrounding her completely.

"Oi, leave her alone!" Amelia exclaimed, before sticking her arm out and bringing it in quickly, kicking up a gust of wind that knocked three of the goons surrounding Maria to the ground.

Cassandra Reed

Location: Times Square, Subway - Earth 257
Skills: Enhanced Condition, Hand to Hand Combat

Cassandra stared at her counter part as she started to laugh at her, calling her a clone made by Bonnie as she turned to look over at her friend for a moment. This whole situation was just really weird to her, as she got into a defensive stance just in case this group of people attacked her. And like clock work the fighting quickly started, though they were mainly focused on Raynor, Flynn and Maria she was not going to leave them to their own devices. "Try and shut them down." Cass said looking over towards Celestine before charging forward towards Hayward Cassandra.

She missed just as Hayward turned her attention towards her and tried to grab her, managing to get out of the way before going forward and managed to land a punch into Hayward's helmet. Which didn't seem to do much at all unfortunately, she watched as the others were having their hands full, especially Maria who was being surrounded. "Whatever you think we are, we aren't from your world and we are just looking for Luminous and Dr. Doom. You aren't going to arrest members of my team." Cassandra repeated again.

Maria snorted slightly when Cass' doppelgänger called their Cass a clone somehow made by Bonnie, when the other members of the Iron Legion suddenly sprang forward. Two of them going after Flynn, one of them putting a device on his arm while another managed to hit Flynn, a weird spider-bot like thing suddenly latched itself onto Raynor and the other member of the Iron Legion attacked him. Maria winced as she started to feel several shots hitting her, as seven of them suddenly went after her. Three of them managed to get knocked back by Amelia grateful for her friend's help.

Maria quickly drew out her bow and quickly reached for her EMP arrows, and quickly fired off five of them in quick succession, two of them managing to hit their targets. Seeing sparks of electricity going off and then the two suits suddenly shutdown and hit the floor rather hard. She looked towards Amelia and gave her friend a grateful smile, she was glad that she was able to help her out. "Thanks I owe you one." Maria said towards Amelia.

Niah caught what Bonnie was saying, or rather not saying. This world was Raynor's so she wasn't defending him because he was guilty of whatever it was he had done here. Though Niah believed there was likely trumped-up charges. That sort of thing was endemic to societies like this one. A very terrible thought crossed her mind. She couldn't let this place have her leg.

Cass gave the order and she let go of Oliver's hand and drew her ICER, not wanting to be wanted for murder. She had to be careful not to ruin whatever sort of life this world's Niah had carved out here. The ICER would be clearly useless. Niah sighed, and picked up one of the EMP arrows that had missed.

Everything was very bizarre and surreal. Matt wasn't quite certain how to process it. So he pushed those thoughts aside and figured he'd think about it later when there was time to think about it. Cass gave the order. His Cass, thank goodness for the accent difference. Matt followed through moving quickly to step between Maria and the Iron. She could shoot around him and that'd give her some protection.

Matt pulled his gun, there wasn't much hope since the goons were all wearing the Iron man like suits, but Matt had to try something. He couldn't touch any of them because of that. He aimed for the visor of one of them and the bullet hit dead on, but ricocheted. For a brief moment Matt didn't know what happened. But then he saw Sparky. She had wound right near her heart. And everything tunneled. He dashed over to try to keep her stable.

Things had definitely been going too well, of course their luck would run out sooner rather than later and they'd end up in big trouble. Chaos just sort of followed them around. So as everything started happening, two of the goons tried to take him out, and managed to paralyze his left arm, with something that was still stuck there, well at least he was mainly right handed. But it was a bit inconvenient to have his arm just sort of hanging limply at his side, completely useless. Well this was definitely going to be a fun fight now right? Basically fighting a bunch of Iron Man wannabes.

"Well wasn't that just rude?" he commented, before he started sending fireball after fireball at the goons. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to do much damage, since he needed incredibly hot flames in order to get through the suit to injure the person inside, and he was having problems doing that. A little annoyed now, he sent one last large fireball at one of them, and that seemed to work as the guy started screaming, as if he was being burned alive. Well, guess that attack worked then.

She had been expecting a fight to break out, just not after a few little jump arounds or whatever to get there. Sparky had honestly expected them to be fighting when they first popped up. When the chaos ensued, she was thinking about what to do. Using electricity was an idea, but that could result in the bolts of lightning either ricocheting around the train car, or just chaining between person to person, and hurting everyone else, plus could just charge the Iron Man suits too. Her thoughts were pulled away when she heard a gun go off and felt something hit her chest, and she looked down.

That's when she saw the blood and pain shot through her.

Sparky was unsteady on her feet for a moment, before she fell to the ground from the injury. Rather quickly, there was someone else by her, and she saw Matt's face trying to put pressure on the gunshot injury. She knew that he wasn't really a doctor or anything like that, so she went through her mind somewhat quickly, assessing the situation. "Matt, you need to just keep pressure on it... Okay? A-a-and don't move me unless absolutely necessary... S-s-since that would cause more damage..." she managed to stammer out, giving him some instructions, since given the fighting, there wasn't time, or the resources to deal with a serious bullet injury. She still wasn't even sure what had happened.

(Blackbird of Chernobyl)

"I do not think any of you are really listening to what we are trying to say." began Celestine as she turned her focus towards this universes Cass. "You have all undoubtedly fought against many strange hostiles, and if you trust me enough, it would be wise to consider that we are not from this current reality, what the others are saying is true." The Black Bird of Chernobyl still spoke in the calm and collected tone that held little emotion, but when the Black Iron Man suited figures engaged the rest of her squad, she quickly sprung into action. At first, she reached for her heavily modified Scar but then thought better of the action. She would only use lethal rounds against the targets if it was absolutely necessary, and it was damn near close to that.

Through the erupting chaos that surrounded her, she managed to pick up the voice of her squads Cass and her recommendation of attempting to shut down the Black Iron Man suits. "I like this idea, but it is going to piss them off either way." said Celestine as she reached out with her Technopath ability, in an attempt to lock the suits of armor in place, making them immovable. Regardless of the outcome, her HUD informed her that Spark's had received an injury, and one apparently to the chest. She would vanish for a few seconds before reappearing alongside Sparky's side, taking a knee and reaching into the sealed satchel she kept on herself at all times. Her advanced medical kit was pulled from it, and placed upon the ground along side the wounded individual.

"Matt, I am going to need your help here." began Celestine, as she opened the kit and started to remove some things she expected she would need. Celestine pulled out a pack of gauze and applied it to the wound, she would release the pressure for a moment with her hands and instead placed her knee down for more pressure. "We do not have anywhere to apply a tourniquet, but I have other ways to make this work." commented Celestine as she quickly handed Matt a Chest seal. "Put that over the wound please Matt." asked The Black Bird of Chernoybl. All of this happened in a short amount of time as the fighting continued around her and Matt.

EARTH 257 - 10:00 AM Nov. 13th, 2021 - Metro, the Iron

"Did you really just punch pure adamantium?" Hayward asked, perplexed with Cass' actions. "Your brain must not've formed properly in the tube. Also, what's with the fake accent?" she then added. This was all a game to her. She was going to toy with them until it wasn't fun anymore and then she'd just throw them away. She truly believed that there was nothing they could do to fight her. Hayward threw a punch at Cass, but Cass would manage to block it.

"No problem, fam! Do you got more of those special arrows?" Amelia asked Maria. It seemed to really be the only way to fight these people - that and Flynn apparently just roasting one of them. It gave her a newfound appreciation for every villain who managed to go toe to toe with Iron Man, this was hard. Niah had managed to pick up one of the missed EMP arrows, leaving two left, and she stabbed it into one of the Iron Legion's suits, shutting it down and turning it into a paperweight. In total, there were six Legionnaires left. Matt would be able to put pressure on Sparky's wound.

Bonnie's eyes widened, seeing the bullet ricochet and hit Sparky. "Don't fire any more bullets, they're bulletproof!" she quickly warned the rest of the team. They were in such a small space it was a miracle stray fire hadn't been an issue so far. Matt and Celestine were responding to Sparky, they didn't need a third person crowding her. Bonnie took a move from Niah's playbook, dashing and picking up one of the EMP arrows, and then stabbing it into one of the Iron Legion members, taking them down.

Raynor, if he had been able to talk, would've been screaming. Intense light began to radiate off of his body. Anyone who looked at him for more than a few seconds would've gone blind. The light continued to increase as the temperature in the train car started to rise steadily, as if a small sun had began to burn around them. The Iron Legionnaires were blinded as Raynor slashed and stabbed with his knife, the Asgardian metal cutting through their armor as he behaved more like an animal than a man.

Raynor jumped onto the next member of the Iron Legion, just stabbing them repeatedly. It wasn't about efficiency. It was about pure revenge. Goodness knew what he was going to do to Matt when he was done gutting everyone he possibly could. But the Iron Legionnaires weren't stupid - they weren't about to just be easily overwhelmed. The second one Raynor attacked managed to inject him with something, and suddenly, the entire world was just a blur of colors. Raynor collapsed to the ground, barely breathing.

Legionnaires started firing off repulsor blasts, one of them hitting Bonnie and sending her flying backwards. An ordinary human would've been killed as Bonnie's head slammed into the corner of a train seat. Miraculously, she survived - just with a significant head wound. Athena's blessing was still powering her, even in this universe - a fact that Bonnie was barely coherent enough to acknowledge.

"Oh this is not good, we're so fucked," Amelia murmured, knocking the Iron Legionnaires down over and over again with blasts of air, but air could only do so much to hurt people wearing Iron Man suits. They needed a new strategy to turn the tide and soon.

Niah didn't need to see to fight, but that didn't mean the others didn't need to see. But the light from Raynor was already dying out. He had expended it all. If Matt was lucky Ryanor would have caused himself minor amnesia. Niah bit her lip. Sparky was down. They were struggling against these Iron people and she wasn't much of a fighter. Not really.

However, a thought came to her mind. She scanned the suits looking for a knee on one of the suits that seemed like a weak spot. She noticed one and did what would look like a leg sweep, and just as she hit the back of the knee with her left leg she mentally commanded her leg to send an EMP blast. She hoped it would work...

And it did. The EMP went off and the suit turned off. Bricking on the person in it.

Matt had taken the gauze from Celestine thankful for something to help this situation out. "Bonnie! You need to be here." He said panicked as it appeared Sparky was starting to fade out. She was losing too much blood. He'd rather be fighting, though he had a feeling he wasn't going to be any use in this fight. This was not his strong suit. He also knew that Raynor was going to personally rip Matt's limbs off if given the chance. Especially if Sparky actually died.

He considered paralyzing her. But that might just risk her dying faster. There was a whole lot of light coming from Raynor and Matt didn't dare look over and see what was going on. He even had to squeeze his eyes turning his head from it. "Any luck with the whole stopping them from the inside?" He asked Celestine.

Oliver Sullivan

Skills: Molecular Oscillation

Thankfully for Oli, he was able to keep himself from phasing through things, but this fight was still going to have him at a major disadvantage if he had to be spending this much mental effort to not pass through things. That meant that this had to be ended as quickly as possible, so the best avenue for that was probably getting that armor off of Other!Cass, and the easiest route to accomplish that would be to simply phase it off of her. Closing the distance between himself and his alternate universe boss, he went to try to rip it off of her, only to walk straight through her.

Oli had another option though, he could just cut off the armor with his trusty flaming laser sword. Giving it a flourish, his fingers slipped, and accidentally turned it on while spinning it about, resulting in the blade cleanly cutting through the arm of the Cass in front of him. "Oh fuck." He said, as the arm fell to the ground, the metal clanging to the ground. "Shit, I'm sorry, I honestly didn't mean to- I'm sure you can reattach that." He said, the shock and survival instinct telling him he needed to phase, and so he did, too successfully in fact, falling out of the train entirely.

Cassandra Reed

Cassandra looked towards her counterpart and shrugged slightly. "How am I suppose to know that? Like we said we aren't from here." Cassandra told her, just as Hayward Cassandra tried to punch her and quickly managed to block it with her arm. Just as Raynor started to go full berserker on them. She quickly shielded her eyes, from the light, her head started to pound rather badly as Cassandra stumbled backwards, as her early childhood memories suddenly changed. She lost her parents and her sister Carolina to a robbery and Hayward took her in and raised her.

She remembered being taught how to fight by his side, and hearing all of the terrible things that the X-Men have done, and reading articles and watching the news of other nations of this world and hated all of them. Everything around her sounded really muffed as she tried to shake her head, and leaned herself up against one of the subway car seats ignoring everything around her. She didn't even react to Oliver chopping off her counterpart's arm off. Something really wasn't right as Cassandra tried to clear her head.

Maria looked towards Amelia and nodded towards her and smiled some. "Yep, I got some more fancy arrows, acid, grapple, regular, flashbang and smoke arrows as well, and my personal favorite explosive to." Maria said as she watched as Sparky suddenly went down after getting shot, Celestine the new person on the team and Matt quickly went to treat her. It didn't look good at all, as Maria pulled out five more EMP arrows, they seemed to be the most effective right now against them. Maria felt the heat in the train warming up, and quickly shielded her eyes as Raynor went full on animal against the Iron Legion.

Maria fired off five more shots, two missed and three managed to take out two more seeing the same result from the two that hit, as the two arrows bricked the two and they fell down. The third that hit however seemed to have been a dud, as Maria watched Niah and Bonnie take out two of them with the two arrows that she had missed. Oliver managed to lob off Hayward Cass' arm off and then he quickly fell through the floor of the train. "We might need to run soon." Maria said as Raynor went down, and something was off with their own Cassandra seeing her stumbling backwards and holding her head.

Everything was chaos all around him, as he thought of what best to do given the situation. As Bonnie pointed out, shooting them with guns was a bad idea. However he also was starting to think that maybe, just maybe fighting wasn't the best idea, that they were better off running to try and get away. There was a problem with that idea though, and it was mainly that based on all that was happening, they couldn't get everyone out of there. Not to mention the fact that they'd be on the run. The person who instantly went to his brain of likely not being able to be moved was Sparky. A serious gunshot injury was not one you'd want to be running from anyone with, since you wouldn't be able to really get any sort of medical supplies easily to deal with that sort of thing.

"It isn't a maybe... We need to leave now," he instantly said, and hated the fact that they actually needed to. No matter what, they'd have to fall back, and right now, there weren't too many people who could actually pull that off. However it would give the others their best chance of getting out of wherever they'd be going, since with another group outside, they'd hopefully be able to break the group out. Flynn instantly sent another blast of fire at the nearest goon, before there would be another scream of sorts, as the flames hit him, and resulted in the guy getting more or less fused with his suit as it had partially melted. Well that had to not be the best. "Anyone who can, get off the train, we've got to get out of here."

Sparky was feeling incredibly weak from the injury and blood loss, she didn't exactly try to sit up or anything, though she did notice Celestine was there too. "I-I-I think I'm gonna close my eyes for a minute, okay?" she mumbled, before her eyes flickered shut. Her mind began to wander, and eventually seemed to be in a strange sort of dream world, or whatever it was, and there was a young girl with long brown hair walking along the street (since looking, it did seem like that sort of thing) right in front of her. She was just humming along to herself, running her hand along the wall to various buildings that they were by. Sparky was seriously confused though, and she looked at the girl in front of her, "Uh, what's going on here?" she couldn't help but ask as the girl turned to look at her with a bit of a smile on her face, giggling.

"What are you talking about mamma? Don't you remember?" the girl asked her in a bit of a sing song voice, turning back to look at her.

Mamma? Uh what? Now Sparky was a bit confused, then it clicked in her brain, as that could be used as the word for mommy in many languages, including Norwegian, which resulted in it clicking in her brain as to what exactly she was seeing. This little girl had to be Zarina, her kid who she'd left back in their reality. "What are you talking about Zari?" she ended up asking.

"You died? And left me behind to go on without you duh."

"What? I'm not dead, what are you talking about?"

"Hmmm... Maybe not yet, but you will be soon... And you left me behind. Now I'll never get to know you as a person."

"No Zari, I'm not going to leave you." she said rather firmly, and Zari just sort of shrugged. The dream world around them was becoming more vivid, and seemed a lot more real. It took a moment for Sparky to notice that Zari had something in her hand, and it wasn't until they came across a random person in the street that she realized what it was.

It was a knife.

Zari moved rather quickly, running the stranger through with her blade and knocking him to the ground, twirling the knife a bit in her hand, giggling a bit as the guy was sitting there bleeding out. "Well isn't this boring... Wonder if there is something else to do," she commented, before she slit the stranger's throat to ensure he was dead, before standing up fully and looking at Sparky again. "Mamma, I'm hungry." she continued, as if she hadn't just killed someone randomly and wasn't somewhat covered in blood now.

"What did you just do Zari?????" Sparky asked, her eyes going wide now.

"What? I got bored," she said with a bit of a shrug, going back to walking along now. Sparky had one thing to think, and that was that this dream was really weird and kind of freaked her out a bit.
