I'm finally getting around to making a proper image for Loretta. I'm trying to go far less anime than I usually do but if it comes through I hope that's alright lmao

I'm honoured that my roleplay could help to inspire that. If I had any artistic talent, I might have done the same for my characters.

Also, just edited my post again to mention Roland entering the shuttle bay. Forgot to do that earlier.

Also also, added a couple of pics to the Setting and interest check. They're representative of each of the 3 roles, so hopefully it makes a little bit easier for new people to find which section to refer to for their characters.

Finally got my CS up! Great to finally be working off some of this rust!

Sorry it took me so long, first time posting an rp and I wanted to try and get it right.

Alrighty, looks like everyone's made their first post now. We've all introduced our characters, gotten a feel for how we're starting and there's a bit of interaction already, which is good to see. Quite a few speeches going around too, gotta say.

Anyways, from this point on we're all free to post at our own pace. You can continue in the current posting order if you like, but are not obligated to do so. That said though, I call dibs on the next post.

Just a couple of things I'd like to address first though. Npc's, side characters, whatever you wanna call em, be careful about bringing them into the roleplay because they won't have the same 'rights' as approved characters. This basically means that if someone else wants to maim, kill or control the actions of your side character, they are free to do so without your permission.

If any conflicts arise from this, just know that you have been warned and the rules will be in favour of whoever did whatever to your side character, so use them at your own risk. If you want them to have the same rights as your primary, either make them your 2nd character (if you don't have one already) or replace an existing one.

I apologize to anyone this may inconvenience, I should have mentioned all this sooner, but I honestly didn't foresee anyone using any characters other than the ones that have been approved. Now that it's come up however and I've had some time to think about it, I just want to say that I'm not ruling against side characters, I'll allow it, but the limit was that you can have up to 2 characters for the roleplay. Anymore than that then they'll be free for anyone to use however they please.

@John F Kennedy I missed it on my first read through of your post, but you mentioned your character being a second lieutenant and I'm not sure if I should allow that or not what with him being a Knight as well. I imagined Knights (plus Battlemages and Spectres too for that matter) being sort of like the Kingsglaive from Final Fantasy 15, or the Spartans from Halo. They're not part of the regular military chain of command, but they're the most elite fighting force of their respective setting.

As far as authority goes, they only answer to the highest and if they do work with regular military personnel, it's usually more a matter of cooperation rather than one ordering the other around. I suppose what I can allow is for Knights to have their own retinue of men from their own household guard, as is their right as nobles, or to be able to commandeer a regular unit with the superior officer's permission, but it's probably best to keep the role of Knights and officers separate overall.

So basically, this is all a very longwinded way of saying do you reckon you could edit your post a bit?

Speaking of which, phew! That was probably the longest post I've ever written for a roleplay. Anyways, something I didn't mention in my post, but your character(s) can have their own shuttle if anyone wants. Particularly if they're leading their own retinue, just bear with me for a bit here and don't have them land until my next post. This is the last chance for a bit of dialogue and character interaction before it's all action, action, action, so make use of it while you can.

I swear after that, the railroading ends and everyone can just go nuts with the mayhem.
