This is not meant to be pushy or stressful, but since I know lots of people were likely this past weekend with thanksgiving (myself included) I wanted to remind @duskshine749 and @Sanity43217 it's been a few posts since we've heard from your characters. I will wait a day or two and then will probably make a short post to get them started on their hike to the camp. If any of you guys would like to just skip to when they reach the camp, feel free to chime in here OOC over the next few days.

Aw, thank you! I had a good time coming up with it. Truth be told, I didn't fully know what I'd imagined for it until I sat down and wrote it out so I'm so glad I did. Hopefully it's given you some good ideas for the missing human, if you still wanted to do that

Apologies again for the delay, a few days ago it seemed like my allergies were bothering me and it turned out to be a cold. Had a fever most of yesterday and woke up this morning feeling like I was hit by a bus. I'd started writing my post already so I'm going to attempt to finish it and get it up today.

Hello all! Happy New Year

I wanted to first say that I'm sorry I haven't been online for a while. I got really overwhelmed last month with some personal things and the holidays, and because of that I was unable to keep up with many things, this website being one of them. I wanted to check in and see if who all is still interested in this roleplay, since there seems to have been a decline in replies even before last month. Totally okay if you are no longer interested, honestly. I would just like to have an idea of where to go with this. If we need a change of pace that's okay too. Depending on who all, if anyone, is still interested we can adjust the plot and continue or turn it into a 1x1 if necessary. If no one is interested any longer, then that is okay and I had a great time roleplaying with you all while it lasted.

Well, I'm sorry to hear that December was a lot for everyone but I'm really glad to hear yall are both still interested in the roleplay. Happy to keep it going. I may do a post to speed things along, like get them to their campsite. That way there is more happening all around, gives everyone a little more to work with. Once they are at the campsite, everyone is free to explore the general area or do what they want, a chance to play around with their abilities or maybe stumble across something in the forest.

Alright, I got a post up to move things along. To clarify, in case I didn't portray it well enough, what I was imagining is that there is something sorta magical going on with the time. Not necessarily caused by anyone's powers but just because they are so close to the portal.

Just doing another check to see where everyone's interest levels are at this month. Never heard back from Wolvena or Sanity the last time

I'd hoped so as well, but things happen and people get too busy or lose interest and that's okay. Thanks for checking in and letting me know you're still interested. I do think this is still salvageable, and that we can still have fun too. Honestly I was thinking maybe of doing a bit of a reboot, where we would pick up from them finding the campsite. I could throw in some other characters and NPCs to keep the world lively. You, I and any of the others who still want to participate could use the same characters (or create new and/or additional character, if yall so wish) and we could get things happening at a better pace that doesn't drag as much. I'd wanted to allow them some time to find and explore the campsite so that we could all get a feel for each others characters, but I also didn't want that to drag out too much and take too long to get to the really exciting stuff with the portal and unfortunately I think the latter is what happened. I'm also happy to just continue with this thread as it is, just thought maybe a fresh-ish start might help.

I fully agree with you. Things happen and a new fresh start, with or without the old characters, may be what this thing needs!
