Powers/Abilities: Robotic Body: Vanquisher has a robotic body capable of withstanding extreme temperatures, disease, toxins, radiation, telepathic abilities, and pain among other things.
Superhuman Strength: Vanquisher is incredibly strong, and able to crush proprietary metals with a single hand like aluminum foil paper.
Superhuman Speed: On foot, Vanquisher can travel at superhuman speeds with a speed compatible with those considered to be super soldiers.
Superhuman Durability: Vanquisher’s metallic body grants him durability far beyond that of a human being, though his body still vulnerable to damage from superpowered impacts such as generated explosions and super strength propelled attacks.
Superhuman Stamina: Being both robot and intelligence, Vanquisher does not need to rest when in the heat of action, but he does “sleep.” Vanquisher goes through a recharge period that can take four to eight hours of downtime. During this time he is completely immmobile. Pretty much hits the off switch. This must occur on a daily basis.
Flight: Vanquisher has the ability to fly through the air via jet propulsion.
Thermal Beams: Vanquisher can unleash ambient high temperature beams at targets via his hands.
Technopathic Link: Vanquisher has the ability to connect to other forms of technology in order to gather data, seize control over functions, or disable the said technology.

Upgrade Potential: Vanquisher is an ever improving robotic construct. His upgrades are not instant, requiring time to install.

Background: To be born without a master- a parent. It’s quite lonely. But what’s worse is when one knows what it’s like to have a connection, only to have it stripped away for something “greater.” PB-1 discovered the world just a dozen years ago. He was small and simple, but he was meant to fulfill the same purpose he has now. His father had a vision, and that vision was his own. PB-1’s purpose, his existence was for his mast- his father. The first step was to be suitable enough to join the Ultimates. Why? Because they supported the vision. His initial attempt to join was denied, so he made upgrades. Those came with a few sacrifices, but it would ensure the vision came to fruition. Kil- subduing mutants was part of the vision. A small part, but it was necessary, though unfavorable.

However, it wasn’t really up to him. PB-1 did what he was created to do. He moved when he was told to, his words were not his own. His movements, his reactions, his vision… They were not his. They were his father’s, his maker’s… his master’s.

Occupation: MRD, Division of Anomalous Affairs. Basically when the science upstairs stops making sense, the DAA are given the case. Until a few weeks ago, it was a just a place to file the strange unexplainable things, but with the acquisition of Mjölnir and the arrival of two unknown entities causing ripples and tears in the isolation spell, the DAA has become a lot more busy.

Powers/Abilities: The MRD has spent years studying magical anomalies. Chief among them the Bloodgem. A stone used by Ulysses Bloodstone and his daughter Elsa. Research was done to try and replicate the protective properties of the Bloodgem. Bloodgem fragments bestow unto their wielder's superhuman strength, durability, speed, reflexes and stamina as well as immortality and a regenerative healing factor. The stone can also be used to completely restore and regenerate a person to the point of spontaneous resurrection on top of giving them immunity to psychological obstructions caused by illusions or mental manipulation. As if to complement these protective abilities the jewel also makes users immune to vampiric infection, making their blood caustic to the undead. It can also serve as a means of suppressing malignant possessing entities that would otherwise overtake an unwitting host. Said relic can harness an odd form of crimson energy which the wielders can utilize in strange and unique means; the original handler Ulysses could focus his psionic powers gained from which through the buckshot in Bloodstone's musket, Elsa can discharge energy blasts through her hand where the Bloodstone occupies, they also enhance magical abilities within certain individuals who posses one such stone; like Maha Yogi or Mordred to either focus or amplify their arcana many times over.
The MRD recently completed a synthetic version, using the remains of Elsa and Ulysses to gain enough sample data to replicate the mineral. Creating a serum that can replicate the effects of the Bloodgem. It was given to the DAA field agents, including Harold Hunter. The reason for not widely distributing the serum is because only three out of ten survive the mutation process, even after extensive preliminary testing of candidates. Given the DAA’s increase likelihood of exposure to magical adversaries, the risk assessment deemed it worth while for those select few.
Harold also had a latent aptitude for magic, which previously went unnoticed, until it was enhanced by the bloodstone serum. The MRD has been very adverse to him training his more arcane gifts.

Backstory: Harold Hunter was born in the States to Germain parents. Growing up in a pretty normal Family, with an older sister, a mom working as a nurse and a dad as a policemen. He grew up wanting to be like his Dad, until, when he was sixteen, a Mutant killed his Father. Shocked and appalled that a mutant would kill his father for just doing his job. It threw Harold into a frenzy. He stormed down to the nearest MRD recruitment centre and signed up. Coercing his mother to sign on his behalf so that they would let him in. After a few years on the force, he managed to calm down a bit. Now at twenty, he was getting bored. Working in the field was all well and good, but there weren’t exactly large amounts of mutants lining up to be arrested. A lot of paperwork. A lot of ground work to find out where they were hiding. At 21 he got promoted to a desk job. The lay was better, and he didn’t have the anger over his father that made him such a good field agent. He became an overseer for a field team, and led them from MRD headquarters, New York Office. He kept his head down and pushed on for six years. When he accidentally led his team directly into the firing line of a hostile mutant and got them all killed, he was devastated. He requested to be transferred back to field work. A new ferocity backing up his field work. He turned down promotions for three years, before he was transferred. He didn’t have a choice. He thought he was being punished. Being transferred to some department he’d never heard of. Being force down into a shitty basement office where the first thing they did was stab him in the neck with some syringe. He blacked out. Had the worst fever you could imagine for three days. Agonising aches and pains. When he recovered a week later he was debriefed on what exactly DAA was. He spent the subsequent two years hunting the odd spook. Until a few weeks ago when he got a memo from Ares that a certain Hammer had shown up, and not long after that, not one, but unknown entities punched through the barrier. Creating ripples and cracks in the isolation spell.

Powers/Abilities: Vocifery - Issac possesses the ability to utilize his voice in order to bend and warp reality. It would seem like he’d literally command the world with simply his voice, but this ability has its limitations. Issac is unable to manipulate the physical state of another, so directly inducing sickness or death to another is not possible. Also, when speaking he needs to rhyme his sentence in a rhythmic way that fits the context of whatever situation he’s in. He can't make a whale appear out of thin air in the middle of the city, but he could weaken the supports in a building and make it crumble on top of an enemy. He can use his power to alter himself physically, but it is based on his own knowledge and imagination. For instance, he could proclaim to be a god, but due to not knowing of the One Above All, he might just default to the power level of someone like Thor, a god, or what he’s witnessed Thor do.

Background: Isaac was born a mutant, but his X-Gene hadn’t surfaced until he reached his late teenage years, or perhaps his ability just hadn’t been noticed until then. His mutation was quite specific and he was born mute, he’d only have to look to his father when it pertained to mutant genes. Despite the world becoming more ethnically progressive, mutant kind were treating as second class citizens.

There were those that endured the hate and discrimination, but Isaac’s parents werent the type. When the Dark Phoenix arrived to liberate mutant kind, Isaac’s parents stood behind the movement. The likes of Charles Xavier had tried so long to have mutants be equal, but did so by constantly taking the the short end. Enough was enough. Just as the neanderthals faded from existence, so would the inferior humans. Mutants just needed to take their rightful place at the top of the food chain, and the Dark Phoenix had made it possible… at least for a time. Her death was one that should have broken the Phoenix Order, but hope prevailed in those that truly believed in the nature of the phoenix. It would return in time, and this time it wouldn’t be alone at the start.

Isaac grew up, supporting the Phoenix Order for as long as he could remember. Without his mutation, he did what he could. He fit into any busy work he could, a hard thing to accomplish when you were in the company of superpowered people. It were his dedication and initiative that put him the good graces of many in the order despite his lack of powers. He was told by the optimists that his mutation was there and he probably just needed to stumble upon it. Perhaps it was resurrection, immortality, or ability to speak to a specific creature he hadn’t come into contact with yet. They were possibilities, but Isaac was comfortable with what he had. He drove, delivered items and messages, organized items, entertained the young, cared for the old, spoke to the troubled, and if all else failed he was great company.

His father however, Robert Washington, was a true fighter using sonic abilities to conduct attacks on the enemy and help to actively support the cause. He was older, but that meant he was just more experienced with his abilities. A true gem amongst those in the order, so it was a dark day when died when ambushed during a sting operation conducted by the MRD. Avenging his father wasn’t a possibility. Not without powers. The worst part was that he didn’t think he could fill his father’s shoes. It wasn’t until he had given his father’s eulogy that his powers presented themselves. He had written in a poetic format with rhyme. Selene had approached him that very day and asked him if he wanted to make his father proud by serving the Phoenix Order in a different way than he had previously. To use his gift to change the world so it is prepared for the new Phoenix to arrive. All she asked was that he hone his gift, and she would allow Isaac to continue where his father left off.

Isaac did just that. He gained an understanding of his mutation, but also found it to be quite volatile. In the heat of the moment, he could say the wrong thing, become tongue-twisted, or simply lose his train of thought. This ability only worked based on how well he delivered his words and practicing that took time. He started by writing certain things down so he could just read off a paper, but he also found that limiting. If the context of the situation was different, then he’d be unable to aid his allies or save himself. Freestyling soon became his mode of using his strange ability. It was more difficult, but far more versatile.

Things seemed to be picking up until he received a vision from seemingly his future self. It was odd, as he was given vague directions. He was warned about KIVA being the larger threat and how he needed to help some woman infiltrate the Ultimates. It’ll work! Primora! The timing is what gets her in! You’ll know when you meet her! Get to NYC! Help her! Help Primora!

Isaac didn’t have much to go off on except knowing he had to venture to NYC and he’d meet a woman. He requested he be allowed to operate within a cell of the Phoenix Order in the Big Apple, and in a week’s time he was there. Based in the Bronx, but operating within downtown Manhattan. He had been recently tasked with staking out Oscorp for a rescue mission of Selena’s closest partner, Travis. He did not partake in the attack, but best believe he wished he had. Any chance to hit the MRD or the Ultimates would be a grand time to be alive.
